starting off strong with Armin

i see him as pan with a preference for mascs

Sonic Crack Ships

So lately I've been going through a Sonic phase though its mostly a Tails phase if im being honest with myself. I've been trying to watch all the Sonic media and read all the Sonic comics that I can while playing a few Sonic games here and there. So my messed up brain came up with this stupid idea. What if I put every version of every canon Sonic characters from all Sonic media into multiple rounds of the hunger games simulator until only ones left. So I did that and even though I literally did it yesterday I already forgot who won I just remember it was something stupid. I also did it with all the diffrent canon and AU versions of Tails I could find and the winner was actually Tails from Sonic Boom. But anyways im getting off track where im going with this is that today while I was doing nothing lying in bed my brain came up with an even more messed up idea. What if I put all the Sonic characters not including the humans into a random wheel picker on Google to form a bunch of crack ships. So I did it for every character on the wheel. I now have a list. And I have decided to post this list because I find it funny. And I dare people to draw a couple from this list together or make a short cute crack story about one of these ships. And if you do please send a link to me. Ill die laughing if anyone does this. Sorry if I misspelled some names. P.S. I tried to put pictures on here for each character but I couldn't figure out how. Following the predictable trend, the entire 13 episode run of Season 4 will take place over approximately 9 days. Not too long for a mustache experiment. But why, you ask? Why would God and the CW do this to us? Here are our best theories:

Today, President Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to 17 individuals who Biden says “demonstrate the power of possibilities and embody the soul of the nation—hard work, perseverance, and faith. They have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments in the arts and sciences, dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among us, and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities—and across the world—while blazing trails for generations to come.”The seventeen appear to have been chosen quite deliberately to provide a snapshot of a multicultural, nonpartisan society in which people work to overcome hardship and contribute to the public good.

Biden praised decorated gymnast Simone Biles, who has won 19 World Championship gold medals and 4 Olympic gold medals, for her advocacy for the mental health and safety of athletes, children in the foster care system, and victims of sexual assault.

Sister Simone Campbell is “a prominent advocate for economic justice, immigration reform, and healthcare policy.” Dr. Julieta García “was the first Hispanic woman to serve as a college president and dedicated her career to serving students from the Southwest Border region.”

Former Member of Congress Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords, the youngest woman ever elected to the Arizona State Senate and later a U.S. representative, survived gun violence and co-founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to gun violence prevention.

Attorney Fred Gray “represented Rosa Parks, the NAACP, and Martin

Luther King, who called him ‘the chief counsel for the protest movement.’” Steve Jobs, who died in 2011, led both Apple, Inc., and Pixar. “His vision, imagination and creativity led to inventions that have, and continue to, change the way the world communicates, as well as transforming the computer, music, film and wireless industries.”

Father Alexander Karloutsos has been a Greek Orthodox priest for more than 50 years, “providing counsel to several U.S. presidents.”

Khizr Khan is a Gold Star father (which means he lost his son Captain Humayun Khan in the military service of the U.S.) and “is a prominent advocate for the rule of law and religious freedom.”

Sandra Lindsay was prominent in the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic, working as a critical care nurse in New York. She was “the first American to receive a COVID-19 vaccine outside of clinical trials and is a prominent advocate for vaccines and mental health for health care workers.”

Senator John McCain, who died in 2018, was a prominent Republican politician from Arizona, famous as an independent thinker who often bucked his party to do what he considered right.

Diane Nash helped to found the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) that “organized some of the most important civil rights campaigns of the 20th century.”

Olympic and two-time World Cup champion soccer player Megan Rapinoe works “for gender pay equality, racial justice, and LGBTQI+ rights.”

Former Wyoming senator Alan Simpson, a Republican, has been “a prominent advocate on issues including campaign finance reform, responsible governance, and marriage equality.”

Richard Trumka, who died in 2021, led the AFL-CIO for more than a decade and worked for social and economic justice.

Brigadier General Wilma Vaught broke gender barriers as she rose through the ranks of the U.S. Air Force. “When she retired in 1985, she was one of only seven women generals in the Armed Forces.”

Award-winning actor, director, and producer Denzel Washington has “served as National Spokesman for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for over 25 years.”

And civil rights advocate Raúl Yzaguirre, who was a U.S. ambassador to the Dominican Republic, led the National Council of La Raza for 30 years.

“Decorated athletes and military heroes, artists, civil rights giants, activists and trailblazing representatives, intellectuals, and innovators,” Biden tweeted. “That's America. And these are our 2022 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients.”

President John F. Kennedy established these awards for ”especially meritorious contributions to… [t]he security or national interests of the United States, or…world peace, or…cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” “

In a period when the national government must call upon an increasing portion of the talents and energies of its citizens,” Kennedy said, “it is clearly appropriate to provide ways to recognize and reward the work of persons, within and without the Government, who contribute significantly to the quality of American life.” And yet for all their apparent civic-minded origins, a 2018 study by political scientists E. Fletcher McClellan, Christopher Devine, and Kyle C. Kopko showed that the medals have become increasingly political since 1981 as presidents seek to reward donors and associate their presidencies with individuals who will appeal to their voters or show their administrations in a good light.

The difference between Biden’s first 17 award recipients and those former president Trump honored reflects their different visions of the country. Trump favored white people and focused on athletes, especially golfers; cultural icons (Babe Ruth and Elvis Presley); or icons in the Republican Party’s rightward swing (media figure Rush Limbaugh, economist Arthur Laffer, jurist Antonin Scalia). Trump also awarded a medal to Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA) on January 4, 2021, and, on January 11, 2021, to Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH).

That vision of the government as a way to reward loyalists might have moved past legal boundaries.

New York Times journalist Michael S. Schmidt yesterday reported that both former FBI director James Comey and his deputy Andrew McCabe were tapped for extremely rare invasive tax audits by the Internal Revenue Service during the Trump administration. Those audits are supposed to be random, and the chances that both Comey and McCabe, whom Trump singled out as enemies for their role in the Russia investigation, were randomly chosen seem small. The two men were unaware the other had gone through the deep audit until a reporter told them.

Today, the IRS director Charles Rettig, the Trump appointee under whom the audits took place, asked the inspector general of the Treasury Department to investigate the matter.

There was international condemnation of right-wing policies in the U.S. today, when the European Parliament voted 324 to 155, with 38 abstaining, to condemn the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision recognizing the constitutional right to abortion

. It also demanded that the European Union recognize the right to abortion in its charter, and to provide "safe, legal and free abortion services, pre-natal and maternal healthcare services, voluntary family planning, youth-friendly services, and HIV prevention, treatment and support, without discrimination."

U.S. Secret Service director James Murray announced his retirement from the agency today to take a position as security chief at Snapchat’s parent company, Snap. Former president Trump appointed Murray to the head of the Secret Service in May 2019. Questions about the loyalties of certain Secret Service agents have swirled since January 6, but the White House said the resignation was not connected to the recent testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, aide to Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows, who mentioned hearing of a physical altercation between Trump and an agent after Trump spoke at the Ellipse on January 6.

In the U.K. today, Prime Minister Boris Johnson stepped down as head of the Conservative Party after dozens of officials in his government resigned over repeated scandals. He says he will step down as prime minister when the party chooses his replacement, likely this fall. Party leaders may force him out sooner. In a statement, Biden said that “the special relationship between our people remains strong and enduring…. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation with the government of the United Kingdom, as well as our Allies and partners around the world, on a range of important priorities. That includes maintaining a strong and united approach to supporting the people of Ukraine as they defend themselves against Putin's brutal war on their democracy, and holding Russia accountable for its actions." (HE RESIGNED)

Tonight, former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe was shot in the chest while he was giving a campaign speech in the city of Nara. His condition is critical. Police have arrested a male suspect in the shooting. Washington Post Tokyo/Seoul bureau chief Michele Ye Hee Lee tweeted: “Can't overstate how shocking this shooting is—not only because Abe is very popular and prominent, but also because gun violence is extremely rare incident in Japan, a country with some of the world's strictest gun laws.” (ABE WAS NOTED TO BE THE JAPANESE TRUMP, VERY CORRUPT AND NOT WELL LIKED)

President of the European Council Charles Michel tweeted that Abe is “a true friend, fierce defender of multilateral order & democratic values.” He promised that the European Union stands with Japan and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Finally, former president Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter celebrated their 76th wedding anniversary today. Theirs is the longest presidential marriage in our history. They were married in Plains, Georgia, on this date in 1946.

One thing I’ve noticed about a lot of my ships is that if they’re straight, the characters tend to have a lot in common but if they’re gay, it tends to be a case of opposites attract. It’s not a perfect pattern, one of my gay ships for bounty hunter Captain Falcon pairs him with Snake from Metal Gear (I don’t know much about Metal Gear but I’m under the assumption that they have relatively similar jobs and personalities) and I ship Rose and Clara from Doctor Who because they have a surprising amount of similarities, but I want to go over some of the ones that do count:

• Falcon x Dr. Stewart: gay, dynamic can be summed up as fighterxdoctor

• Falcon x Samus: straight, both bounty hunters from Nintendo franchises with little love from Nintendo

• Samus x Peach: lesbian, literally a case of woman whose whole thing is a superior fighting ability and breaking gender stereotypes x princess who gets kidnapped at least three times a week

• Milo x Nessa: straight, gym leaders from Galar with a rivalry

• Nessa x Bea: lesbian, famous model x martial artist (it’s harder to emphasise the differences here due to them both being stoic, competitive gym leaders but I’m still counting them)

• Princia Ramode x Lily Flyer: lesbian, bored princess x fighter who doesn’t know any other way of life

• Jody Summer x Kate Alen: lesbian, basically the police x former singer who basically quit in favour of the Grand Prix

• Calem x Serena: straight, protagonists of X and Y as well as rivals if not chosen. The player and the main rival are considered the two strongest fighters in the friendship group

• Adaman x Irida: straight, leaders of rival clans who love the Eeveelutions

• Misty x Erika: lesbian, tomboy x airhead

• Megan x Audie (and by extension, any normal peppy duo): lesbian, basically the above but with a heavier focus on hyper for the peppies than tomboy

• Mewtwo x Lucario: technically other because Mewtwo is genderless but they are technically different genders to each other, Pokémon with more “mystical” powers as well as having a lot of similarities (idk I’m not gonna list them here)

• Not character-specific but I’m gonna mention Delphox x Meowscarada: not officially straight, gay or lesbian but both look traditionally feminine and are seven times more likely to be male than female so it basically counts as a gay ship, magical witch who turned witch hunting against the witch hunters x physical stage magician

• Wednesday x Enid: lesbian, literally everyone’s favourite gay trope (I’m not talking about roommates I’m talking about the goth x prep contrast)

• Natsuki x Yuri: lesbian, “tsundere” x “yandere”

• Madoka Kaname x Homura Akemi: lesbian, basically prep x goth

Author's note: Hello dreamers, and welcome to the official first chapter of Etheria! I recently found out that I have a condition called Maladaptive Daydreaming, (MaDD) and I have SO MUCH in my head, so I decided to turn it into a fanfic! I read about maladaptive daydreamers, so I am writing this story as a love letter to every maladaptive daydreamer out there! So, over the summer I've been reading many different book series, and I finally found a writing style! Instead of first-person P.O.V, I've decided to write in third-person! So, anyway, enjoy! P.S: I've been watching She-Ra on Netflix, and I found out that there is another kingdom called Etheria, but I came up with this name before I watched the show. I actually got it from the word "ethereal" which I learned from a youtube comment.

Chapter 1: The story of Etheria

There is a special power inside of all of us. You may think I'm talking nonsense when I say this, but there is a power beyond imagination residing in all of our minds, and hearts. Yes, imagination is the keyword, and I'll tell you why. Try to unlock the power right now. Think of what I look like, and you will see that it resides in EVERY living creature. I am a very beautiful woman with long brown hair tied up in a ponytail.

I wear a green, regal gown, covered in precious gems, and I wear a silver crown covered in emeralds. Can you picture me? You probably can, and that means that you are using that power right now. The power of daydreaming. You've probably done it before now, and you know that it can take you places where you never thought you could go. You may think daydreaming is a normal ability, and that it isn't really a power, but I'm here to prove you wrong.

Once there were two tribes. One was the daydreaming tribe, and one was the dreaming tribe. The daydreaming tribe resided in the light of day, and the dreaming tribe utilized the power of night. The daydreamers had a special system, where they would dream of adventures, kingdoms, magic, and love, but they could never will it into existence. That's where the maladaptive daydreamers come in. The daydream tribe had 7 of them. The regular daydreamers of the tribe would go to a MaDD user and request for their daydream to be brought into reality. The maladaptive daydreamers had the power to will ANYTHING into existence, as long as it was used for good purposes, not evil. The MaDD user would then bring it into existence.

The 7th maladaptive daydreamer was the most powerful of them all. Her name was Alessandria, and she was the ruler of the Daydreamer Tribe. She wore a white and pink silk dress covered in feathers, and had extremely long blonde hair, with a golden crown adorning it. The reason she was so powerful was that she wore the ethereal gem. The ethereal gem is a necklace with a rose gold chain and a pink half-heart gem, representing the purest element of them all, and that is love.

Alessia lead the tribe with love and compassion for her people, while only using her immense power for good intentions only. But the opposite tribe, which was the dreamer tribe, used their powers for dark purposes. the nighttime was their playground, and dreams were their specialty. The night dreamers were just like the daydreamers because they could dream anything to their heart's content, but needed someone else to will it into existence. They needed the lucid dreamers, who had the power to bring anything that the night dreamers dreamt of into the real world.

The 7th lucid dreamer was named Morgana, and she was a nasty person, who used the darkness of her own heart to plague the daydreamers with the most horrible of nightmares. She had long, black hair, and a long purple dress, and also wore a dark crown. The reason that these two tribes were in such a bitter feud was because of something called the ancient laws of imagination. Alessia and Morgana were actually twin sisters, and were the first parts of an ancient prophecy called the prophecy of the mind and heart.

The mind and heart work separately in some people, but work in harmony in others, and the 3 worlds of Etheria are the first pieces of the prophecy. First comes the mind, the logical force, which is used rationally and practically. The first world is the world in which we live in called reality. Reality is a place which is logical and down-to-earth, and has hardly any magic. The heart is the second force, and is the part of your soul that is used for romance, emotion, and feelings.

The second world is fiction, which is the world filled up by fictional characters created by other great minds. Any movie, video game, or book character lives in that world, and it is at war with reality, which is always trying to make it logical, and take away the magic and wonder, while the heart is always at war with the mind,

The third world is the most powerful. It is called Etheria, derived from the word ethereal, meaning relating to the regions beyond the earth, or extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world. Etheria is comprised of all OCs, mean "original characters" which are characters that we have created in our minds that haven't been published, or made into movies, tv shows, or video games. We sometimes refer to OCs as, "fictional characters in training," because in our hearts we believe that all OCs our on their way to becoming full-fledged fictional characters, up there with some of the greatest.

The three worlds always battled over which is strongest, over which was strongest. Reality believes that they are right in the situation because they are logical and reasonable, while fiction and Etheria disagree, and try to prove that magic, wonder, and imagination are the purest elements. Now, about the prophecy. The prophecy of the mind and heart tells of 2 sisters who will feud with such fury that it will shake the entire earth.

Alessandria and Morgana's parents believed that their daughters would be the ones to fulfill the prophecy, because of one small but important detail. The prophecy foretold that the twin sisters would have special powers of imagination, and the light twin would be born with pink eyes, the color of love, while the dark twin would be born with red eyes, the color of evil. The twins played, laughed, smiled, and learned together, until one fateful day. Alessia was daydreaming in the garden of her villa that day, when she heard footsteps behind her. She went to investigate, and she found out that the thing she was daydreaming about had come into her world!

She started to panic a little bit, but the woman from her daydream calmed her down. She explained that she was from a world called Etheria, and it was a world beyond ours, in our minds. She told Alessia that she had a special power called maladaptive daydreaming, or MaDD for short, and meant that she had the power to create vivid and realistic daydreams, beyond anyone else's. Alessia realized that she needed to name her creation, so she chose Aurora Borealis, after the northern lights. Aurora told Alessia that her daydream power was beyond that of a mere mortal's, and that both she and her sister had power beyond compare.

Aurora explained to Alessia that her power was so strong, that she could daydream about future events and events from the ancient past. In short, she could use her power to go anywhere, anytime. Aurora told her that Morgana also possessed special powers, but could only use them while sleeping. The next evening, Alessia told her sister about Aurora and what she had told her about her powers, and Morgana explained that she had discovered her special powers, too. She told Alessia about the dream she had while napping earlier that afternoon. She was visited by a blonde-headed man, and he told her that he was a fictional character named Dio Brando, and that he was pulled from his world from his own.

Dio explained Morgana's lucid dream powers to her, and told her that she was powerful enough to destroy an entire planet. After Morgana told her story, Alessia knew that something wasn't right about Dio. She put her powers to good use, and daydrempt about Dio and who he was. Her ability showed her the horrifying truth, and she nearly fainted in shock. She screamed in fury at Morgana, fearing for both their lives, because words couldn't even begin to describe the horrible things Dio had done. Their parents ran into the room to see what all the fuss was about, and that's when things went bad. The two girls explained everything to their parents, and as they were talking their father's face got more somber by the second.

He explained the prophecy to the girls. He told them that they would both find out they have special powers at age 8. The prophecy foretold that the dark sister would make friends with a fictional villain, and go against the light sister. Eventually, they would both come of age, and become the leaders of opposite tribes.

After that night, things started to go bad. Alessandria and Morgana's relationship became strained, and Morgana began making friends with more villains, while Alessia stuck to the good side. Things reached their breaking point one day, when Alessia and Morgana got into a fight, which resulted in chaos. Alessia tried to swing at Morgana, but ended up hitting her with a blast of energy, while Morgana tried to take her sister down with pure dark magic. That the point of no return. Alessia created more people with her power, and Morgana did the same. The tribes were formed, and bonds were broken, but their parents did something to assure that it never happened again.

They established the ancient laws of imagination, which protects the worlds of imagination from tragedies such as what happened to Alessia and Morgana.

1. Reality dwellers are not to associate with fictional characters, to keep the worlds in balance and harmony.

2. If a child is born with pink eyes, they are destined to be a good person, and always walk on the light side, just like Alessandria, but if a child is born with red eyes, they are destined to join the dark side, just like Morgana.

3. Always be wary when a child turns 8, because that was the same age that the twins received their powers.

Content with their new laws, and hopeful for the future, the twins' parents passed on in peace. As they slipped away, they cried for their daughters, but smiled for the future...

Aurora became Alessia's most trusted advisor, and Dio became Morgana's. One day, Alessia broke down crying, saddened by what she and her sister's lives had become, so she decided to create one last ray of hope. She used her powers and created a daughter, and embedded her power inside of her. She named her Lily, after her favorite flower, and she also gave her pink eyes. She gave Aurora the duty of raising the child, and told her to pretend to be her mother until she turned 8, and her powers awakened. She couldn't bear to send Lily alone without a companion, so she pulled some strings to send another fictional character with her to be her brother. He would also have knowledge of Lily's bloodline, and would protect her from Morgana, Megan, and Dio.

Morgana had the exact same idea, and created a daughter herself. Hers would be destructive, rambunctious, and mean, and her name would be Megan. Dio would take her to his world, where she would be raised as his sister, and eventually fight Lily.

This is how our story begins, with two sisters who will be the future of everything that we believe in, who will fight each other throughout the multiverse, and make friends and enemies along the way.

So, that was the first chapter in my fanfic! It explored the history of the two sisters,and set up the plot for most of the story! The reason I chose 8 for the coming of age is that I first started thinking of this story at that age exactly, and the reason I chose Megan for Morgana's daughter's name is because of a dream I had one night a long time ago, about me having a new adoptive sister named Megan, who tried to steal my crush from me! Anyway, I'll see you all next time!
