Overwatch 2 season 9 has been very exciting😄. The Hero Gauntlet🦸♀️ mode is a lot of fun. Your team needs to guard three towers against waves of attacking bots🤖 while collecting coins🪙 for extra points. The Cosmic Crisis🌌 mode was interesting, but kind of dark for me. The battle pass⭐ skins👕 remind me of Halloween🎃. My favorite is the Ramen🥡 Bastion🤖. I think his food themed skin is really cute😃. The Cowboy Bebop event added four new anime themed skins to the item shop🛍️. It was a great event. You could even earn a cute skin for Wrecking Ball🐹 by completing challenges😀.
Koala 🐨🎮
I've really been enjoying Dragon Ball The Breakers🐉 lately. Zamasu and Goku Black are the new raider🦹♂️ for this season. Mai⭐ and Puar🐱 have been added to the item shop🛍️. They are really fun characters to play. Mai's flash grenade💥 is great for stunning the raider🦹♂️ and making a fast escape. I love playing Puar🐱 and using the shape shifting👍 abilities. There was a Whis ramen🥡 collecting event in March, where you could earn an awesome golden outfit👕. Now there's an event for one of my favorite Dragon Ball🐉 characters, Android 18😄! If you collect enough medals you can earn a cute pink🌸 Android 18 outfit👕🤩! It's also a good opportunity to earn a few extra TP tokens🪙. The battle pass⭐ has so many awesome rewards including Jaco🌠 at level 50! I'm looking forward to using his Galactic Patrol Ship🛸 ability😃.
Famed manga creator Akira Toriyama has passed away on March 1, 2024 at age 68 due to acute subdural hematoma.
Toriyama began his first serialized manga, Dr. Slump, in 1980, and it inspired two television anime and multiple films. Toriyama followed it up with Dragon Ball, which ran from 1984 to 1995, and is still inspiring manga and anime sequels and spinoffs today. The manga's Dragon Ball anime adaptation, its sequel Dragon Ball Z, and its other numerous sequels and anime films are equally as well-known as the manga, and its hero Goku has become a character known throughout the world.
Toriyama is also well-known as the character designer for the Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon and Tobal games.
Most recently, Toriyama was working closely with the production for the Dragon Ball Daima anime series, the most recent anime series based on Dragon Ball, and is credited for the new anime's story and character designs.
The fact that 18's super attack tease has a smacked-up Vegeta in the background is sending me.
He's never living that down.
Also kind of amused to see who all seems confused by the title being "Sparking Zero" instead of Budokai Tenkaichi.
Having said that, I know the game is a little way off yet, but I can't say I'm a HUGE fan right now of them having very much anime-stylized character models and effects, but more "realistic"--styled environments. It can make some bits look a tad awkward.
Like the way the rocks have a more realistic style but the smoke clouds there look like they're shaded and rendered in the same style as the character models is just a bit off to me? It's a minor complaint, but it stands out.
Also seems they're still in love with the effect of having the backsplash of a beam attack wrap around the character models. Feels a tad busy to me.
But overall, looking nice, given the little we've seen.
Idk anyone that's actually into this but just a heads up for anyone that might have been: super dragonball heroes: world mission is currently 5.99 USD on steam rn (instead of the usual price of 59.99 USD)
