OCTOBER READS 📚

Another productive reading month for me! Manhua/Manhwa binge again and for those who are interested in what titles I tried, then this is the post for you. I don’t know what the next months will bring but I wanna get back to reading novels… we will see how that goes. for now, I just feel thankful that these works are out in the world for people to enjoy ^^

• The Tyrant Prince’s Last Promise ( Chapter 74 ; Ongoing )

Adapted from the novel, “the wife is first” so I see why there are alot of people following the manhua. Jing Shao ( MC ) is a prince who is good at battles and was made to marry a male concubine Han ( ML ). He didn’t treat him well for years but Han stayed by his side even if he was sentenced to death and was accused of so many things. Right before they died, he promised to treat Han better.

So his wish gets granted and he goes back to their wedding night. Then the whole story focuses on their relationship and how Jing Shao pays his dues and tries to be the best husband for Han. He also tries to make different decisions to prevent him from falling from grace like before. This story is just so fluffy and sweet <3 and i love their chibi versions! ☺️☺️☺️ I might read the novel to see where it goes but i have to say it’s a standard trope — and i will never get tired of it.

Guilty Affection ( Chapter 47 ; Ongoing )

Esper/Guide trope but this one is more problematic. LOL. The MC, Han Yoonjae is an undocumented Esper and living his life as a normal person. There is some mystery from his past because you can tell that he is strong but decided to leave his life as an Esper. Then here comes the ML, Cha Minhyung. A popular & strong guide who comes to his life and offers to be his guide and make his life better. These two have a shared past and the story tries to uncover that. Also what will happen to Yoonjae and his power. I really like his power, and I understand why he will be someone that everyone will want to control. The relationship between them is not really the “romance” type but more co-dependence and lots of smut.

Crushing Jade & Catching Pearls Chapter 51 ; Ongoing

This one is very unique, I have never read something with this plot. It is modern era, but the MC/ML both work as apprentices for an old art of sculpting. Tho the ML ( Ding Hanbai ) is much older and is more accomplished in the field. It’s really more of the relationship between the MC & ML and less “romance” so far. I feel like some people will find it boring, but there is something about it that draws me to it. and it doesn’t hurt that the art is pretty. Ding Hanbai starts off as an asshole who bullies the MC Ji Zhenzhu — but then they slowly become closer. The MC who is the goodest boy with puppy energy melts Ding Hanbai’s heart 💕

No arguing with Mr.Mo Chapter 71 ; Ongoing

The trope of Mr. Cold hearted CEO who is actually a simp for the MC is not new and I usually like it — I often root for the MC and hope they get together. But in this one, I find myself liking the ML ( Mr.Mo ) waaaay more than the MC. To the point that I don’t think the MC deserves Mr.Mo at all. I get that Xiao Nuo have some trauma and baggage of his own but his drama over nothing just irritates me. Mr.Mo is straightforward and clear with his intentions, but MC takes advantage of him, willingly or not, is not my cup of tea.

I won’t be continuing on, or if i do, maybe it’s to see Mr. Mo’s panels.

Hard Boiled Love Chapter 93 ; Ongoing

I only finished up until Chapter 40 cause I felt like there is nothing else for me as a reader to see, plot-wise. I could be wrong but maybe I will pick it up again when i’m in the mood. This is popular, and i understand why, the trope is catchy : Rich kid and his Bodyguard, then add BDSM into the mix. Boom! There is just no way that people will not click and read. It is a good read and enjoyable but I wasn’t in the headspace for that type of smut, the interaction of the MC/ML tho are sweet!!!! 💕

What captured me tho is the ML. Hwayoung Yoon. He is a lovable psychopath. He gave off so much Hisoka vibes ( from the anime hunterxhunter if you didn’t know ) and this type of character would do so well if done in live action. How he seems to be this sweet boy that his family dotes on but is secretly a sadistic bastard. I mean, look at him as a kid:

A master manipulator.

The MC too, Gyuwon, is well written. He is an ex mercenary who really wants to be someone’s sub ( in a sense ) but he doesn’t think that will happen because of how he looks. People have expectations of how he should be but lo and behold, he meets the fucked up Hwayoung. 😂😂😂 it’s more light and funny considering the subject — they could make the plot really dark, so i’m glad they didn’t.

Campus Trap Chapter 24; Ongoing

AHHHHHHHHHH! My new favorite. The omegaverse hoe in me is screaming! 🤍 too bad there are only a few chapters out. I honestly want to read the novel which is already completed but i’m still trying to figure out how to navigate korean sites. The plot of the story may seem dramatic to some, because it’s all about the MC (Chaewoo) who is an Omega and trying to make ends meet. He was once this kid who lived a pampered life but things changed and now he is a struggling student. One day, his Uncle, told him about the concept of a reset partner, which is kinda like a surrogate. So a dominant omega like him will be a surrogate to a rich dominant Alpha. He agrees and finds out that the Alpha is someone he goes to school with — Mister popular, Euigeon. It doesn’t help he doesn’t like the guy and Chaewoo is even jealous of his “success” cause he feels like he will be the same way if unfortunate events didn’t happen to him.

I LOVE IT. I LOVE THEM. The campus setting and the two being music students is also a bonus, it’s only beginning to be explored and I wanna see more. They have great chemistry and the way I squealed during the car scene. 😱😱😱 it’s also the type of story where I can’t wait for the ML to fall for the MC. I’m reading about Euigeon being this arrogant bitch to Chaewoo and i’m like— can’t wait to see you fall head over heels and regret your actions. It’s nothing abusive, if anything, I feel like his actions are reasonable cause he doesn’t want to make their relationship complicated. It’s supposed to be a business transaction. I wanna know more about ML too cause i’m sure he has so many issues that caused him to be this way. I have spoiled myself a by reading comments on the novel but i will surely keep an eye out on this till it’s completion.

Miss you, Lucifer 15 chapters ; Completed

A short Manhwa that is full of uwu and love! 🥹🥹🥹

If you want something to lift your mood up then this is the best pick. Honestly! It had everything: romance, comedy, angst and some plot in there even if it’s only 15 chapters. The premise is an “idol” from a boy group that’s not popular x A-list actor pairing. I don’t wanna spoil too much cause it’s better to just dive into it, and like i said, it’s not that long.

Business as Unusual 15 Chapters ; Completed

Another short one that I enjoyed. 💕

Tho i’m not a believer of getting back together with your ex. Lol. That’s the story here. MC/ML were a thing back in college and because of a misunderstanding they “broke up”. Years later, they meet again as office mates and rekindle their romance. I’m happy for the characters because they had a second chance at love and are now at a better place to stay together.

Considering the length of this, there was one scene that really stuck with me. The two are walking on the street late at night and ML is chasing the MC, he wants to talk but the MC won’t listen so he shouts:

“HEY! MY FIRST LOVE KIM MINJUN!” 🗣️🗣️🗣️

It’s so funny considering why it was said, to get someone’s attention — but also so romantic. It is like a scene in a k-drama.

Tied To You 64 Chapters ; Completed

I feel so lucky that I found this title in it’s completion cause i would absolutely go nuts if I had to wait, to find out what’s gonna happen next. As soon as I started, I couldn’t stop and took me 5 hours to finish the whole thing. So worth it. This kind of Manhwa is the reason why I keep reading, hoping that I will find something like this. It’s really something special. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

the synopsis is as follows:

It’s only sleeping together while holding hands, nothing else. That’s what Shin Wooseo tells himself when a red ring that ties a person to their soulmate appears on his finger one day. Once two people get tied by the ring, they cannot fall asleep unless they’re physically together. However, his destined partner isn’t his long-term friend and secret crush, Kang Jiseok, but rather his older brother, Kang Jigeon! And so starts the tragedy of loving one brother but having to share beds with the other. Although, it might not entirely be a tragedy, as Kang Jigeon doesn’t seem so disappointed about being tied to his younger brother’s best friend…

I don’t usually go for love triangle tropes, but this one is not really that kind of love triangle. The strength of this Manhwa is the storytelling. Every panel & interactions served a purpose. As a reader, you are pulled in and can’t help but want to know more. I also appreciated that we can see the perspectives of 3 different people, but moreso on the MC/ML. I liked the concept of “love” that was portrayed too — it’s something that you have to work and fight for. It’s a conscious choice and not all sweet gestures.

Now i wanna spotlight the ML, KANG JIGEON 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 If I was to rank my fave MLs from all the stuff I read, he would easily be in the Top 10. He is manipulative but in the best way because all he does is for Wooseo to pay more attention to him. I have to say that he ultimately sets up the “scene” but most of the time the choice is still with Wooseo. His devotion is very real and his approach to fighting for his love is ( to me personally ) admirable! GO GET YOUR BOY! I’m not even mad at him.

I’ve been wanting to read a character like him, a chaotic good if you will, and that’s probably why this made such an impact on me. It was hilarious seeing the comments of readers in the early chapters being sus about Jigeon and thinking he is gonna be an asshole ML. In the middle, they were confused whether to love or hate him and the schemes. Towards the end, everyone was cheering for Jigeon and applauding him. Lol. I guess he was successful in making the readers fall in love too. ❤️

The King and Me Chapter 36; Ongoing

The story is very unique, atleast to me, cause I haven’t read anything set in Ancient Egypt + Time travel. There is also some heavy plot aside from the romance and every character here is just beautiful and badass!!!! The first few chapters broke my heart. I swear. It was effective in setting up the MC’s quest and why he is so stubborn when he goes back in time. What he is after is so important. 💪🏼

I adore the MC (Zhang Li)!!! He is so smart and determined to find out the truth about his “Rocky” and the tyrant king. His circumstances are not the best, but he tries to adapt and is not some love sick fool. Even if the main reason that he is there is because of love. This story is still in it’s early stages and I feel like it could easily go up to 150++ chapters because of the plot and well, the progression of MC/ML relationship. It’s also a slowburn so if that’s your thing, you would enjoy this.

Manhattan Romance Chapter 40; Ongoing

This reads like the kind of novel set in a specific city, in this case, NY, and two people meet each other and fall in love. Of course there are challenges and issues between the characters and their environment but the central story is their relationship. I think people who will read this would want to be the MC (Hyeon), in a way, all because of how much the ML (Luwan) dotes on him. Hyeon has his own issues and he is a precious bean that is too good for this world! I’m so happy that Luwan is the person who “caught” him and not some toxic shit. Let them live in their penthouse and be happy, Let Hyeon paint more masterpieces and the two of them to travel the world. ❤️

Ordinary life of a Universal Guide Chapter 61; Completed

Because i’m a sucker for esper/guide universe I had to pick it up. There is really nothing “special” with the plot, it’s the usual for the trope. My comments sounds like i hated it or something lol but the truth is — it’s alright. I picked this up after reading really good ones ( tied to you & the king and me ) so this was an in between read. I can’t always be that lucky.

The Third Ending Chapter 67; Completed

OMG how do I even begin to describe this perfection. I’ve been seeing this on other people’s list but for some reason I kept putting it off. Funny how I always manage to “start” reading something really good just before bedtime — which delays the “sleeping” I should be doing 😂😂😂

First of all, I love the art. It reminds me of Omega Complex that was so pretty so that helped a lot. 🫶🏼

Synopsis:

Suh Yoonseul has had life easy—everyone likes him, he’s good at his job, basically everything has always worked out as smooth as butter. However, there’s something that brings all of his good luck down, and it’s the infrequent dreams he has of Kang Joon. Who knew that rejecting a guy once would hang so heavy on your life? To make things worse, after he runs into Joon the dreams keep on coming daily. At his wit’s end, Yoonseul takes some advice from a friend so that he can free himself from this jinx. It’s simple. Make Kang Joon think that he’s a nice person. That can’t be hard, right?

Yoonseul is one of my favorite MCs. He’s a chronic people pleaser and has this perfect facade that he presents to everyone. So when he remembers being mean ( showing his true self ) back in high school to someone who confessed to him — he can’t let it go. It was so fun to see him suffer when it comes to winning Joonie over ( AHHHHHH Joonie is the most precious and can do no wrong!!! ) because tbh his intentions weren’t good. He is selfish. The entire season 1 was such a treat. Seeing their relationship progress and I— I don’t wanna spoil anymore but this could easily be a kdrama. There was that scene in the snow. AHHHHH! I was screaming while reading it! Lol. Season 2 is sweeter and more on fluff, by that time, you’re already so invested on them that you don’t care about any plot. Personally, what I loved about this is their mutual obsession towards each other. I’m a fan of that. I like tropes that are about “fated pairs” or something similar.

Between the Lines Chapter 20 ; ongoing

Not gonna say too much about this and I encourage people to wait for more chapters but it has a solid start. The MC/ML are both likable. Especially the MC. The premise is also hilarious, cause MC is a bl writer who is having a writer’s block and needs an inspiration for his protagonist. Here comes ML, who acts like Mr.Perfect ( but he isn’t ) and inspires him. There is so much more going on here that I feel like will be explored more as the story progresses so i’ll definitely come back to it.

Necromancer Survival 79 chapters ; 2 seasons completed and s3 is TBA

I had no idea what was in store for me when I decided to pick this up. I have a thing for necromancers and this one has the whole “dungeons” concept to it so I was down. But like — this probably ruined every other story for me. In a good way. Now I want a plot-heavy type of story with the romance as a bonus only. All I’ve been reading so are heavy on the romance & relationship, this has that element too but you get really invested with the plot.

Synopsis:

When the weak and unconfident Choi Yikyung first found out that he was a user, he thought he had finally hit the jackpot. In Yikyung’s mind, Necromancy seemed like the ultimate mix of cool and interesting. Back then, he had no idea that the Necromancer class was the weakest of them all! But as Yikyung enters the newly reopened Tower of Spirits in search of enhancement materials, he is sucked into a mysterious area of the dungeon where he encounters a frightening corpse. “Ding!” A quest window pops up, and it says… “You have made a pact with Seo Dawon, a vengeful spirit.” When tackling quests, it doesn’t hurt to have a companion or two, especially if one of them is the spirit of an ultra powerful and handsome young man. After all, “it’s dangerous to go alone”!

Don’t let the art fool you. It’s not some bright and shiny story. I made the mistake of thinking it’s gonna be some g rated adventure story lol It’s literally a necromancer whose goal is to make a master/slave pact with all the members of a dead team. He has to fulfill their wishes and help them get their revenge— which means killing a lot of people. It comes with a price, because every summoning is making him weaker in some aspects. Also no one knows what the true power of a necromancer is so whatever it is he’s doing — they don’t know what will happen to him in the long run. I freakin love the concept and how it’s mixed in with the romance. Is Seo Dawon only attracted to Yikyung because he is his master or are these real feelings? How will this relationship even work when one of them is Dead? A huge bonus too are how likable the other characters are. Especially Jung Garam!!! 🫶🏼

I hope the Manhwa continues cause I wanna see them get that revenge! 💪🏼 I wanna know too if Yikyung’s power will allow him to resurrect people and if so, what’s the payment?

I see lots of comments that say this adaptation does not live up to the novel & source material. Which i get it — a Manhwa will have restrictions, especially on the themes. The novels seems more gruesome and explicit ( not the sexual kind ) which usually has to be toned down for a Manhwa to get a license. Plus from what I can tell, the Novel is like 500 chapters ++ with a concept so niche and is for a specific type of reader. So yeah… I’m not sure if I will pick up the novel. I don’t have that urge yet, tho I am very interested in the censored scenes and if it’s really as dark as people are saying it is. I have a feeling it’s right up my alley. && I read some comments that Yikyung gets more dangerous as the story progresses ( getting corrupted by the summoning and the practice of necromancy ). I’m very curious! 👀

Black Mirror Chapter 64 ; Completed

This is the perfect spooky + sexy read for the season we’re in right now. From the first page down to the end, I can’t stop reading and wanting to know what happens next. It perfectly captures that eerie feeling, even if there are a lot of explicit scenes, it’s still there. The author really planned this well and the artist perfectly executed it. I don’t explain more because it’s best to go into this blind and experience the story for yourself. Highly recommend ✨✨

"Hello from Rayman Chibi!

"So you might be wondering why I'm submitting this here. For one thing, it's not entirely normal for me to post sketches of what I've planned out, especially considering my usual art-style, but I've been drawing this at school and I couldn't be any more prouder. However, that's only to cover up the other reason, which is to say that, yes, this contains some Rayman x Rabbid Mario (Punching Pals) content. And spoilers... I actually drew them kissing.

"Now I don't have a Nintendo Switch to play M+R:SoH's Rayman DLC, so to anyone seeing this, this contains NO SPOILERS FROM THE GAME WHATSOEVER. However, it may contain character inaccuracies (both visual-wise & personality-wise) as well as a bit of transphobia under the long 'read more' description, so here we go... Rayman in the Phantom Show but it took place in the Rayman Chibi universe:

"Click on 'read more' for context, but I have to warn you once again that this contains transphobia and a veeeery long type-out.

"Now you might be wondering, 'WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED IN THE FIRST IMAGE????' Well, allow me to explain:

"in my AU, Rayman is transfem and goes by she/her, they/them and even he/him pronouns (I'm not even joking, I'm pretty much one of the first people to outright make a more feminine Rayman and say she's trans and not genderbent), and while normally, it's not questioned or invalidated or anything since it's been pretty much normalized in my AU (since thankfully no one gave me even a slap on the wrist for that), here, this is probably the first time her gender identity was... well, questioned and invalidated.

"When the Rabbids (including Rabbid Mario & Rabbid Peach (as well as all the other playable Rabbids in Sparks of Hope & their DLCs because why not)) arrived, Tom Phan took over in writing the series and made it so that it had the drama of older arcs but better. However, Phan meant to make these events as accurate to the arcs Rayman and friends went through as possible, which yes, meant that Rayman would have to play as a guy all the time.

"However, Rayman isn't comfortable with this and gives Phan a piece of her mind, but Phan refuses to hear it and tells her that she's not supposed to be trans because he's been studying the audience and confirmed that the majority of them liked her as a man, so telling them that she's trans would risk losing a good chunk of her fans, including conservatives and people who were fawning over her. Plus he was like 'hey, femboys exist. Why can't you just be a femboy?' (Because she technically already is, dipshi-)

"This upsets Rayman, and it seems like she's the only one who's being stripped of her identity she's worked so hard on discovering, however, other characters sympathized for her and even plan on taking Phan down because of their creative differences. This is a series about Rayman characters doing dumb things, dang it! Who's to say who can do who (other than the fans)?? This led to other characters helping Rayman feel more welcome in her identity, from her usual friends assuring her that she's valid to the Rabbids not only making her feel more comfortable around them but also helping her rid her trauma to even Rabbid Peach even admitting that she too is a trans woman and even giving Rayman her wig and clothes that Peach herself made to wear for even a little while to feel the gender euphoria that she had. Rabbid Mario also helps in making Rayman feel better by whispering to her things that make her feel valid while on camera with her, and while at first he isn't used to referring her to her identity, he does learn this helps them form a more romantic relationship over time.

"However, it's by the end where Rabbid Mario decided that he's had enough of Phan's shiz, starting the first part of the sketched-out comic. After seeing Rayman protest to Phan one last time by taking off her bandanna and showing him what she's become, witnessing her being chained up and hearing Phan call her something along the lines of a 'deluded fool who doesn't even care for his fans' (interpret that however you want) Rabbid Mario ultimately defends her, saying that she's been struggling to find her identity and that that's just been happening behind closed doors. He then goes to Rayman and attempts to kiss her, but the chains pull her upwards before their lips could even touch.

"The other part happens after Rayman saved the Magician even after finding out his secrets (which I won't entirely be showing, and also Rayman calling the Magician 'Dad' isn't a spoiler; it's actually a callback to an old post I made back in 2021). Rayman asked if she could go see Rabbid Mario before he and the rest of the Rabbids go, to which the Magician obliged. Rayman comes up to Rabbid Mario and gives him a hug, thanking him and the rest of the Rabbids for helping her get the series back. Rabbid Mario takes the thank you for granted and asked if they could 'finish what they'd started' (referring to the attempted kiss in the first part)... and then... finally... they kissed.

"However, it didn't last long as Rayman still isn't used to kissing Rabbids and Rabbid Mario tasted a bit of alcohol on Rayman's lips. However, he does suggest that they do a redo when they see each other again, to which Rayman agreed. Then the Rabbids left. When will they return? Who knows..? Either way, everyone lived happily ever after. The... end..."

~Mike agrees to help will with a new method of art he's been wanting to try. What could go wrong? ~

Will was, by nature, a fantastic artist. It was like some uncanny superpower, the way he could bring the ideas in his head to life with just a few strokes of a pen or pencil.

As a kid, he never needed much. A pencil, some crayons, the bare minimum usually sufficed. But once he grew a bit older, he branched out a little, eager to build upon his talent. He tried paints, watercolor, you name it. He had quite the long range, so it was no surprise that when a new trend started to kick through the young people of Hawkins, Will latched onto the idea instantly.

Kids walking around with patterns drawn on their hands. Swirls of colors running up and arm or a flower or rainbow skribbled on an ankle or wrist. Will had never considered drawing on a person before, mainly because he had heard all his life that it was bad for you and what not. But it seemed fun. He figured it might be a bit of a cool challenge, and he liked trying new things. That was what lead him to his current set up, sitting criss-cross on the floor of the Wheeler basement.

"And your sure this will wash off? "

Will looked up from his bag of multi-color pens and smiled. "Of course, Mike. A girl in my class said it'll wash off in the shower after like, two days. Kinda like a temporary tattoo."

Mike hummed but didn't say anything, falling back into silence as will continued his search for the colors he wanted. He'd agreed to let Will practice a drawing on him, seeing how excited he'd been when he'd proposed the idea. He was... a little trepidatious, but he trusted Will to know what he was doing. He was actually a bit excited himself, although mainly he was just pleased that Will had decided to come to him instead of anyone else.. Ahem.

"Ok! I think I'm set! Are you sure you don't have any suggestions on what you want me to draw?"

Mike smiled and shook his head. "Nah, I trust your judgement. Dazzle me! "

Will laughed and rolled his eyes. "Pfft- ok, hold out your arm. "

Mike complied, and Will grabbed hold of his wrist. He picked up a pen and held it just above mikes arm, already building a mental image of what he wanted to create. "Ready?" Mike nodded, and Will set to work, pressing the pen to Mike's skin and lightly started the sketch Instantly, Mike tensed. Worried, Will looked up, concerned. "Are you ok? Am- am I pressing to hard?"

Mike averted his eyes, hoping Will wouldn't see his blush. "No-no it's fine. Just- feels a little weird, I guess. " He turned to look at him and forced a chill smile on his face. "You can keep going! " Will looked skeptical, but didn't say anything more, and he turned once again to Mike's arm. As soon as the pen hit his skin, Mike bit his lip, trying desperately to stay still. The truth of the situation was quite simple. It tickled. It tickled a lot, actually. But Mike was determined not to show it. He tried his best to stay still, and decided that he needed to distract himself from the situation before it got to be to much to handle.

"Sooo- uh- what, what are you drawing?" Without looking up, Will said, "Um! I can't tell you! You said you wanted me to surprise you, right? You'll see it when I'm done." Mike faked a pout. "What! That's not fair- MH!"

Startled, Mike clamped his mouth shut with a barely contained squeal. As he was talking, Will had ran the pen over a sensitive spot by his wrist, causing a tickly sensation to shoot through his whole arm. Will sighed and squeezed Mikes wrist in frustration. "Mike, what is wrong? Are you sure I'm not hurting you?! "

Mike squirmed out of embarrassment, scolding himself mentally for his strong reaction. "Will, ihits fine, I promise!" Oh, damnit. Curse you anticipatory giggles!

Will raised an eyebrow, smiling in a way that made mikes breath catch. "Ooh, I see. It tickles?" Mikes face went red.

"Oh- ah.. Well, no- I mean- ok, maybe a little... " Mike took a deep breath. "Its- oh, just keep going!" He finished lamely, and Will giggled. "If you say so~"

Will started once again, this time getting quite absorbed in the drawing. At this point though, the dam had been broken, and Mike bursted into giggles immediately. It took everything in his power not to yank his arm away from Will.

"Pfft- ahehehe- oho my god- Will! Hehe-! "

"Stop moving! It'll only take longer this way!" Will said, faking annoyance as his gripped Mike's wrist tighter. In truth, he found the whole situation quite adorable. He carried on in his drawing, finally getting something close to the basic shape done. As he moved higher up on Mike's arm though, the worse it seemed to tickle him.

"Wihihill- ihits so bahahahaaad!"

It really was like some kind of unique torture. The small, sharp tip of the pen glided against his skin with deadly precision, and the cold temperature of the ink only made it worse. He squealed in desperation as Will drew a particularly sharp line along the width of his arm, unable to stop his flow of giggles.

"Oh, don't be dramatic! I'm sure it isn't that bad, Mike. " Will smiled slyly, knowing full well that it was, indeed, that bad. "I need to add color now, so be. Still. " He put down his current pen and traded it for a red one, clicking it open and closed a couple times. Mike was greatful for the tiny break, but once Will continued things got much, much worse.

"AHAA-AhehehEH- Whoa- WIHIHIHIihill-! "

Instead of the light tracing method Will had been doing earlier, he was now fastly scribbling big patches of color on the necessary areas. Needless to say, Mike was lost.

"OHO MY- FUHUHUCK!"

Mike started flapping his other hand in the air aimlessly, trying to channel his restless energy. Will bursted into giggles, finding himself to be very giddy at the whole situation. "Oh, mihihke! I'm almost done, I prohomise! " He picked up another color, adding more color and detailed where it was needed. Mike whined.

"HUHUHURRYYY- IHIHIhihi tickLES-! "

Will smiled and stole a glance at Mike's face, his smiled widening as he saw Mike's hysterical expression. His eyes were closed tightly shut, his face scrunched up in an irrepressible smile. His cheeks were a flattering shade of red. Will looked down again, letting his mind be filled with the sound of Mike's laugh, adding the final touches.

This went on for only a few minutes more, and then the picture was completed. He put the pen down, wanting to do one last thing before he showed Mike. Grinning, he pulled Mike's arm close to him and suddenly started scribbling his nails over his wrist in a fast, fluttery manner.

"EEEE- HEHEY-! "

Will barked out a laugh and finally stopped, Patting Mike's hand reassuringly. "Ohokay, okay, I'm done. " He placed a tender kiss on the palm of Mike's hand. "Thank you for being so still and patient~"

Mike's smile became bashful and silly, his face going a deeper red than before. "Aha, ah- uh- hehe can I uh- can I look now?" He asked, desperate to change the subject. Will suddenly grew nervous, now that the time had come for Mike to see his drawing. What if he didn't like it? He breathed in, telling himself that he was being silly. "Yea, go for it!"

Mike pulled his arm close and looked down at the emblem adorning his arm. He gasped, his eyes going wide as he looked at what will had made. It was a shield, beautifully detailed and topped with a heart in the middle. Under that was what looked like a worn out banner, with the word "paladin" scrawled across it in flawless cursive. It was.... Stunning.

"Oh- oh wow. "

Mike traced his finger along the lines of the drawing, his smile softening. Will looked on, watching Mike with anticipation.

"So, what- whad'ya think-? "

Mike looked up at Will, the brightest look in his eyes. "I- I love it! It's amazing! You did- you did a fantastic job!

Will blushed. "You think so? It was worth it?" Mike laughed and threw his arms around will in a hug. "Hell yea! I'd endure all the tickling in the world if it meant getting to be your work of art!" He pulled away and instead let his head rest on Wills shoulder, locking his hands with Wills. "I love you."

Will smiled, never remembering feeling happier. "And I love you, my perfect masterpiece~" He pressed a kiss against Mike's forehead.

All in all, I think the experiment was a success.

Ok so like- I was thinking about my head canons for my fav bitches while high on serotonine and came up with this.

Penelope and Yvonne definitively have a sister squad, and their symbol is absolutely a fricking frilly bow.

They include Reynold because he can’t for the life of him say no to his sisters, and later on Emily joins as well, because we stan Emily. Period.

(Eckles is also roped into joining because c’mon- mostly no one is able to say no to Penelope and Yvonne)

Derrick manages to refuse their invite to join their group multiple times, and likes to laugh at Reynold and make fun of him every time they do girly stuff.

They once did his make up and Derrick laughed at his unfortunate younger brother for two weeks straight every time he saw him. Still does remember from time to time and starts bringing it up randomly, especially when they argue.

Reynold likes to reassure himself assuming that his older brother is jealous that he gets ‘extra sister quality time’.

And Reynold is a MATERIAL BOSS GWORL PRINCESS who needs no knight in shining armor to come and save him- thank you very much. 😌💅🏻

He’s also the embodiment of literal man-child.

But I still insulted him quite a lot while drawing him, because he had no business being that hard to draw.

Istg I wrestled with his facial features for DAYS to make him look good.

Yvonne’s hand also gave me pain, and probably scarred me emotionally for life.

(I took inspo from the manhwa with the chibis, don’t come for me-)

Also little insight on my head canons, (I might post all of my head canons later on this week when I have time because boy there is so much to unpack):

Yvonne came back a lot earlier than in the novel (at like 13/14, and she’s not possessed); Penelope bumped into her once, while sneaking out the duchy for the umpteenth time because she couldn’t stand her supposed family and the servants anymore.

Every time Penny went out from then on was to meet up with her and different commoner kids because she genuinely liked spending time with them. She was basically like: ‘I FINALLY FOUND MY PEOPLE Y’ALL!’

She realized that it was Yvonne 6 months later, after getting to know her better.

They have been inseparable ever since.

Derrick and Reynold are still little shits but realize their mistakes earlier and actively try to right their behavior.

Also the treatment they give Penny isn’t as bad as in the novel, and still unlike the novel, Derrick doesn’t have any feelings for her because these are my head canons and I ABHOR incest with every cell and fibre of my being - I also think that Penelope deserves a loving family and I’m also a sucker for these kind of things, so yeah- <3 (blame it on the fact that I’m an only child and I wish I had siblings)

Yvonne also gave them and the duke an earful after learning what Penny went through.

The poor girl even had a mental breakdown because ‘what is wrong with you?! What happened?? I don’t remember you being like this!’ And proceeds to give them the lecture of their lives

Eckles is also not yandere and respects Penny’s boundaries after getting politely rejected.

But then gets a crush on Yvonne. Same thing occurs -but nothing bad happens, he’s very respectful about it.

I think that it’s obvious that I love happy endings :,)

(But I still like my angst and hurt/comfort from time to time)

Manhwa Recomendation- A Step Mother Marchen

A Step Mother marchen is a time traveling plot/ reincarnation about Shuli the marquess of the Neuwanstein family. The title of marquess came with a lot of responsibilities and judgments nicknamed as the “iron widow”,”spider widow” etc . She raised her “children” till they came of age even though she was more like siblings until the wedding. On the day of Jeremy wedding she is killed by bandits in an “accident” and awakens to the day her husband’s funeral 7 years ago.

The Plot

So The plot is more political intrigue between the nobles , royal family and church in the country of (not) Germany. Shuli in her 2nd life is super experienced with political infighting but she isn’t OP because her past has gaps in her memory. That leads to a lot of mysteries in the plot that have yet to resolved and the problems she does remember are still being worked on. There’s the obvious mystery of who killed her?, why did her husband (45) marry a 16 year old girl?, Why do the children dislike her so much? What’s this mysterious riot that happened in her 1st life? Etc.

The slice of life elements of the Neuwanstein family is very adorable. I’d say 60% cute family moments/drama and 40% political stuff and mystery. Also romance but there’s a love triangle going on but hasent really started \(-_-)/. When Shuli gets reinacaranted she feels older than the other kids around her mentally which I think it’s a good thing. Sometimes these plots make it feel like the reincarnated FL is OP yet remaining really childish. The step children I think are great at being children they’re all distinct and have goals, backstories and interests diffrent from one another. Jermey (the oldest) has an interesting arc of district towards becoming a really filial and appreciative son to Shuli.

Keep in mind her 1st life shows up time to time and that’s the starting point of her emotional journey for her. I say that because the past sometimes looks like the present and it’s hard to differentiate. Her 1st life ended with her feeling unloved and filled with regret (wasn’t invited to the wedding). Misunderstandings with the children happened in her first life because she was 16 and was immature back than and forced herself to act more grownup.

The Art

So the art can get getting used to because the panels are chibi and kinda wacky. Shuli and the kids have a lot of expressions which help convey their annoyance at each other and the bantering/bickering. It’s comedic for a lot of the panels which can be a turn off i guess if you don’t find it funny. When ORKA art hits... it hits when adding dramatic tension or relief. One of the biggest things manhwa has over manga is color because we are all dumb babies who like color. Sometimes color can be a crutch depending on the artist but ORKA uses it so well to set a mood that I don’t mind that there isn’t any backgrounds usually. (I hate drawing backgrounds too) Shoujo as a genre isn’t action packed like Shonen or scary like horror so color really adds to the art.

Last minute thoughts

Church gives alms to the poor and are in charge of Christmas but are also kinda scummy also sexist and one of them says this “A woman should learn quietness and submit to their husbands” (paraphrasing)

I’m only mentioning it because woman in this world go to war and some are disabled because of it but can’t be in charge of their families (maybe cuz Shuli is new idk)

Some people might find the premise icky that Yohan married Shuli but he gets criticized in the story a lot. It’s the premise starter and we don’t see the marriage that well. People find that it’s so weird Shuli cares so much about the children since most nobles are emotionally distant from their own children.

Alternate title is a Stepmother’s fairy tale and sometime the art changes to black and look more storybook like but I don’t really see the fairytale elemets. Other than the usual hatred of stepmother in fairytales (I doubt in the 18th century people would have liked a new stepmother in a important noble family).🤔

Also good chance to tell you the love story might end up MILF......yyy 😂 !!! Not 100% sure!..... cuz love triangle but keep that in mind (but also i don’t actually mind Shuli is 2 years older than both Male leads.)

(Image description: five pairs of art showing my progress from the past to the present. Each pair contains an old drawing or digital painting and a new recreation of it. All the new recreations are labeled "September 2021" and I will detail each pair out below. End description.)

Sometimes you have to brave the ancient deviantart archives and redraw stuff.

March 2009: a colored pencil drawing on notebook paper of my two oldest ocs in a field. This is a winged unicorn girl (a self insert persona, but too humanoid to be a furry), and an elf dude on a horse (my fictional self's lover). They seem to be racing each other. I have to laugh at my rather chibi and very disproportionate anatomy from back then. This would have been the end of eight grade, just before I turned 14. Hard to look at this and remember that people told me I was talented. I don't think I actually drew much better than any other 13 year old who liked to doodle.

The recreated piece is of course a digital painting. The mountains and field look much clearer. The horse finally looks like a horse. The compositional perspective and the character proportions are more realistic now.

March 2010: a totally unnamed character, apparently an elf who is a veterinarian. Also an early attempt at digital painting. The background is a scribbled mess of brown and green, there are small critters around that are only sort of recognizable and definitely did not make use of references. The elf's head is very large, his shoulders almost nonexistent. But you sure can tell I liked to draw eyes.

The new digital painting has a much cleaner forested background. The critters are now more recognizable as a peacock, a cat, a goldfinch, and some kind of purple salamander dragon. The elf's proportions look proper now and his face has been turned to look more directly at the bird flying to his hand.

April 2011: a colored pencil drawing testing out a cell shaded style on an almost chibi character. They look a lot like the previous winged unicorn girl, with the same wings and general color palette. This is because they were meant to be her kid. They have a falcon perched on their hand and a missing arm. Their bare chest shows large scars from some kind of clawed creature. I don't remember the story behind this.

The new digital recreation does not attempt to mimic the chibi style or the cel shading style. But it gives the character an updated look that is a little more realistic, fixing the straight legs to proper digitigrade ones, fixing the wing proportions. Also the scars are no longer a dark red, they actually look like scars rather than a fresh wound.

April 2012: a digital portrait of a blond elf man with a small purple dragon on his shoulder. Half his face has been burned so badly that he is missing an eye, and some portion of his lips and nose are also gone. His neck is far too long, the colors are rather flat and disjointed.

The new recreation has fixed his facial proportions and shortened his neck. The burn scarring on his face no longer looks bright red, it looks older and more healed. The purple dragon is a duller color to mesh with the rest of the image, and it has cleaner anatomy as well.

June 2013: a pencil sketch of a character who was at the time named "mikkel nyuen". The photo of this drawing came out very yellow. The pencil shading is either washed out or was always rather light to begin with. He is smiling and holding a bow. His body looks too long and his face a bit too short.

The digital recreation uses the same warm yellow color palette as the oversaturated pencil drawing. The character was renamed Mikul Jitir, and has an eyebrow piercing with chains connected to an earring, as well as a side shave on his head. He looks older than his previous iteration, more mature. His shoulders and chest are a little broader to suit the fact that he seems to be an archer.

Art Practice! I’m trying to get back into the swing of drawing babus for my big commissions I’m starting and so I’m doing a few study pieces of some very old Honeycrisp Tales entries - (and a few older pieces of art of her from other people, from before her style was developed to the degree that it is now - thank you @scisetdiary / @adgerelli for suggesting the top row images!) - and I figure why not share with y’all, so that the blog gets a good dusting off from time-to-time, a lot of you are concerned I’m stopping the blog and no, Honeycrisp is my Emotional Support OC™, I’m just dealing with a lot in my personal life and trying to keep afloat.

It’s helpful for shaking off the cobwebs to this style, these studies, and it also helps me feel more confident! I mean, look at the improvement! It’s hard to notice when you don’t go back and look at your old work often (which I don’t) - All this improvement in what I’m told is a short amount of time, I wouldn’t know, time is fake and also chaos imo.

I am glad I keep at this whole art thing, and I enjoy the journey of improving what I can do, and revisiting where I was! :) ... Also boy-oh-boy, do I adore this tiny pink apple. Anyway! Rambling about art under the cut!

1.) + 2.) I’m super excited that I can draw near-Adge level now - I used to dream of making my completed pieces have as much charm and energy as these sketches have, and I think I did them justice! I also still steal how you used to shade Adge, and I don’t regret it.

3.) I felt so guilty drawing her so sad! It was a fun exercise though, in regards to stretching her expressions and learning how hands work - the 2020 version is how the 2017 version looked in my head, and I didn’t know how to execute that - I was also focused more on making her cute, so I didn’t want to stretch her face and distort it. Now I’m... less... hung up on that. I think she looks sadder and cuter for it! More like a real character! Plus, I love how she grasps her hair now, as opposed to, y’know, awkwardly pressing it to her chest.

4.) Still not entirely sure about how I draw male characters, I try, but my skillset is very skewed toward cutesy chibi-esque figures... which is very much not Big Macintosh over here. I don’t know if he’s exactly how I imagine him in my brain, if I can manage that, but at least he looks correct to my eyes in regards to a male figure, which is a start! I’ve also suddenly learned side profile, honestly just a few months ago, and they actually look like proper faces now, rather than melted lollipop heads as before. And my posing improved a great deal as well, she has a lot more character now that I’ve started breaking my self-imposed ‘Cute Above All Else’ principles. She’s got a lot more life to her now, and never does she not look cute, but now she looks much more the version of her that exists in my head and hopefully I can expand her character going forward, now that I don’t fear as much stepping out of my comfort zone with her appearance.

Yay! We made it another year! (Here's last year's roundup if you want to see that)

To tell you the truth, until I made this I hadn't realised how far I'd come in terms of technique and style. It was also hard to make this because like last year, there's so much i did that shows different parts of my art (like, October's chibi incubi au DOES NOT show how deeply I got into drawing chibis this year, especially on my @ask-the-milgram-prisoners sideblog) There's also a lot of little things I can't really convey, like my favourite art being a Moomin I drew that got so many nice comments <3, it really does mean a lot to me as most people usually reblog or like my art quite silently, and i understand not everyone has the spoons to leave compliments everywhere but... I like it when people say nice things to me... wwwwww

Reading over my 2020 summary makes me realise one big different i hadn't noticed: I finish most of what i start now. Which is quite surprising... I feel like I've improved as an artist, my paintings are a lot more detailed now and while i learned about gradients in late 2020, i think I'm using them more effectively now, to be honest i'm quite excited to see where I'll end up this time next year.

But with good comes bad, whilst i see my art improving, it still takes a while to make (generally at max speed, a painting will require 2-3 days of work, and a comic can take up to a week, a rate i am only able to achieve due to copious free time, as i get older and need to focus more on university or working a job, i imagine my output will be severely limited unless i manage to learn to work faster). Another limitation is fandom, whilst the above summary may give the impression i posted an even rate of Danganronpa to MILGRAM fanart, that is far from the truth. I still like danganronpa, but this year I fell in love with DECO*27's MILGRAM Project on youtube and that really takes up most of my creative imagination now... NBD except for the MILGRAM fandom being almost entirely on twitter (do not worry about me leaving tumblr, twitter is much too hostile for me) so I am currently in an odd state where my art satisfies me, but makes me feel like I'm disappointing my 70-80 followers who joined during my Danganronpa phase... Crap i've rambled way more than last year!

(I'm so sorry for this I know it's ugly af!😭 the quality completely died when I imported the images into my computer.) Welcome one, welcome all! To Lolicassé the dorm of misfit toy! Founded on the intellect of the toymaker (though it's technically "founded" on a Micky mouse episode just like the Ramchakle dorm). The students in this dorm all use a classification of magic known as "creator" which permits them to build marvelous inventions and toys from simple everyday objects. Students here, are also able to transform into some sort of toy, which sometimes makes it hard to tell the students apart from the actual toys littering every corner of the dorm. If you are thinking of paying this dormitory little visit, BEWARE the students can get rather clingy and obsessed, and are not above using rather unorthodox means to keep their new playmate with them forever!

Special ability Dollhouse his special ability permits him to bring inanimate objects to life. However they have to be objects that he himself makes. As of right now his ability can only keep something alive for exactly 3 minutes and 52 seconds.

He considers Xerxes his only real friend. He is able to transform into an anime figurine. It is rumored that he has a pair of wings though no one has ever seen them.

Special Ability White Raven, Black raven It is unclear if he was born with this ability or if it was implanted in him when he was a young child. But his voice is able to manipulate the will of others. After an unfortunate incident some students have speculated that he also has the ability to control the life span of those under the influence of his voice.

The chain around his neck tethers his body and mind to the soul of a famous killer, although this is all just a rumor it's still more than enough to get other students to avoid him at all costs.

Special Ability Plague's kiss He can emit a deadly toxin from his body which causes people to transform into hideous monsters and submit to his will. Although even after years of practice he is only able to create a max of five monsters.

Although he did enjoy the company of his younger siblings he detested his older, bossier siblings. His toy form is that of an old mangled teddy bear.

According to a certain hunter, Jess's special ability would make him an amazing huntsman. Although the first year seems to prefer using his power set to prank his classmates and teachers.

Alright so this is how I'm going to do things. Interactions are open for these characters, meaning you guys can send them asks (yandere or normal. How they would react to something/Someone up to you), just talk to them or whatever else you can come up with. I'll do my best to answer everything, whoever if I think an ask better deserves a drawing as an explanation I'll put it on hold and make a quick sketch for it later. This whole dorm was really a giant drawing practice and since I really want to start digital I might re-draw them later (not likely but we'll see). • a very sweet and caring girl. Smart with school (especially classes at rad), but can be clueless most times with anything else. Can be very immature sometimes with certain people.

•she’s a big jokester, especially when she’s flustered. When she’s flustered she doesn’t know how to react so she makes jokes but her face just gets redder and redder. And she gets flustered a lot..( Solomon loves this. Makes it funnier to tease her)

• when first meeting the brothers and diavolo she was surprisingly calm and happy.., it confused the brothers (especially Lucifer) thinking ‘why is she so calm?’ , ‘shouldn’t she be quivering in fear?’ , and other stuff like that. Diavolo seemed to enjoy how happy she was. She wasn’t afraid at all..she’s really clueless with danger, but she was just happy to be somewhere new, with new people, and new things. Mainly the people. She was happy she was able to make new friends (reasons I may discuss in a comic or something)

• although she smiles a lot she’s a big cry baby.

• she’s always trying to help others be it the brothers, her friends at Purgatory Hall, and even random demons( which has lead her into some trouble. And possibly 1 or 2 demon friends that aren’t the demon brothers. Demons that wanna eat her can easily trick her into helping them then they can eat her, but Lucifer or any one of the brothers step in to help her. (Even Solomon has helped some times but of course not letting her off easy and will constantly tease her about it.)

• always wants to be with at least one of the brothers, Solomon, Simeon, or even Luke. ( not because she’s scared of the demons. Just because she’s not the best with social interactions and can get shy sometimes.) (she’s mainly with mammon or Solomon.)

• great friends with Solomon ( maybe some romantic stuff happens who knows?) even though she likes to annoy him most times. Or says she doesn’t like his teasing when in reality she does like it..she just probably doesn’t know she likes it.

• she sees Luke as a little brother even though he’s definitely a lot older then her. She still sees him like that. Always wanting to protect him and make him feel safe. Also loves baking with him.

• A big otaku, which leads her to watching anime, playing games, and even cosplaying with Leviathan.

•the biggest foodie a human can be. Can’t eat no where near as much as beel. But can eat a lot. Which leads them to eat together a lot of times. ( which makes them two very happy)

• definitely sleeps with belphie most nights. Listen, she loves cuddling him or playing with his hair til he falls asleep. ( when mammon catches them he gets really jealous and demands to sleep with her too. Which she is more then happy to! I mean more cuddles for her! So hells yeah! Belphie though..he doesn’t like it at all)

• she also loves sitting next to Satan or cuddleing him while they both read. ( she loves it happening most when it’s raining, snowing, or when it’s cold outside.

• always checking on the brothers. She loves them to death and wants to make sure they’re okay Physically and mentally. Mainly Lucifer and belphie. Lucifer works to hard so he stays up most nights or skips meals a lot. Which makes her worry a lot and try to convince Lucifer go to sleep or eat. She once stayed up all night just trying to convince Lucifer to go to sleep. She ended up passing out and Lucifer had to bring her to her room. Also worries with belphie because when he sleeps all day sometimes he forgets to eat, move around, or to go to school. She try’s to wake him up and when she does she legit drags him out the bed. She loves them to death though.

• she’s a huge pyromaniac...uh oh! Which causes problems for the brothers because sometimes she try’s to light things on fire so they have to keep an eye out. Solomon knows not to teach her any magic that can create fires..he learned that out the hard way..

• she loves giving and getting hugs to/from diavolo. I mean yes she was scared at first because of how big they were compared to her. And that was with all of the brothers too. But she got used to all of them pretty quickly. And will gladly give hugs to diavolo.

• she’s good at classes at RAD because she spent most time reading and studying about mythology.

• she has an odd obsession with Cerberus. And constantly wants to play with him. At first Lucifer wasn’t the best fan of this because of how dangerous it was. But slowly started to realize that Cerberus is starting to take a liking to her..which surprised him because Cerberus doesn’t really ever start to like humans..but this human got Cerberus to like her..which made him kinda suspicious of her..

• she has a wear fascination with solomons wand. She’s stolen it multiple times, but Solomon always got it back and told her off. I mean it was dangerous playing with solomons wand..with how much power she might really have..?

• she was scared of the angels at first to be honest. She didn’t grow up with the best family that dealt with religion. Simeon had to talk to her in private to calm her down and to show that they weren’t gonna hurt her and nothing bad will happen. Simeon is the only one who knows about her home life. ( I will probably write about a scene to show how this went down.)

• she will have a panic attack if she’s yelled at. She hates being yelled at. Yes she crys a lot, but this crying is different. The demon brothers learned this out the hard way.

• she doesn’t talk about her feelings or emotions with the demon brothers. It’s not only them she’s like that with everyone. She hides a lot about her which leads to problems where she goes into a panic attack. It’s not like she never talks about how she feels with the demon brothers. She does sometimes but if it’s important stuff like her home life or her problems. She just rather keep it a secret for now.

• she may help people a lot, but she’s not scared to get into a fight. If she needs to then she will.

beneath the cut you will find headcanons that have collected in my mind lately of my muse , miles oh , a twenty - three year old social media influencer and youtuber who is a part of sky house . ( tagging @ofblueflames so she can read all about him tomorrow c: )

✶ he does not drink soda . a majority of his caffeine intake is from fruit based black teas . any energy drink he’s ever seen drinking is either because of sponsorship with the company ( and honestly he doesn’t really even drink them . they just are props ) or because he really fucked up and is pulling an all-nighter or two in order to catch up on any film editing he needs to finish . but in general he isn’t the biggest fan of the carbonation .

✶ has a cup of tea every night at around 8pm , a habit he picked up from his grandparents during the short amount of time he lived with them before moving into the sky house . normally makes his tea and curls up on the couch with a book and reads for about half an hour or however long it takes to finish the cup .

✶ prefers working alongside family owned and/or small businesses when it comes to promoting and sponsoring their products . while he has no issue asking for big bucks from big corporations he normally just asks if he can have one or two outfits / a three course meal / etc on the house to advertise and if they don’t see an influx on their customer base from the posts he’s made using those free items offered than he’ll pay them x - amount of times the costs for not only receiving free things but also for not being able to keep his word . ( he’s never had to do that . but he’s given money to them anyways . )

✶ recently bought a cockatiel who he named r2 because he plans on teaching him how to make all the noises that r2d2 does from star wars .

✶ claims that he doesn’t like k - pop groups that much but could probably not only name , but do the dance ( at least the chorus ) of any group . honestly he just has too much time on his hands . . . and by that i mean he hates editing and will find any way to put it off . if you want to hear to his top 25 , you can click [ this link ] and it’ll take you to a spotify playlist for him :]

✶ two main games he plays are animal crossing new horizons and minecraft . he did one time do a pokemon sun nuzlocke video though . his youtube channel is most viewed for his true crime ( much like the crime junkies podcast ) cooking series and conspiracy mukbangs . while of course he would never admit it to anybody outside of sky house , his cooking series is done while he is high and honestly devolves usually into him giving his own theories on what happened and who did it while eating the uncooked or half - finished meals .

✶ the house has a douchebag jar for him because he doesn’t really think about what he says before saying it and whoever has faced the brunt of his words most at the end of the month gets the contents as retribution .

✶ played among us for all of like a day before getting so frustrated he flung his phone across his room and put a hole in the wall , cracking its screen because he kept fat fingering the report button as imposter and outing himself .

✶ his body temperature runs high for the average person so he gets hot very easily .

✶ when he’s driving it is his own personal rule that he must play fergilicious at the highest acceptable volume and sing it word for word . that or my humps .

✶ is one of the oldest in the group but acts like one of the youngest . he can flip older brother / dad mode on really quickly though , just like he can go from being drunk to drunk but seemingly sober need the situation arose .

✶ was involved in a lot of fights at school growing up both on and off campus . he doesn’t like doing it anymore but has no problem throwing punches if someone is actively threatening , swinging at the younger members of sky hose , or because they swung first . he’s pretty calm in those situations when sober but it’s when he’s been drinking that it really comes out .

✶ hates beer and wine , hard liquor only . occasionally will drink wine at any fancy restaurants he goes to or just orders the most expensive whiskey on the rocks .

✶ loves sharks and definitely owns two of the almost two foot long shark plushies from ikea . originally only left with one but went back for another because ‘ he needed a friend . ‘ both are on his bed and he actually sleeps with them .

✶ the wall that his bed is against has a bunch of sharpie drawings and writing on it from nights where he can’t sleep and needs to get his thoughts out so he can go to sleep . it helps him fall asleep and some of his most honest highkey sad admissions and thoughts are on that wall .

✶ talented artist who makes some pretty gorgeous scenery paintings . can draw realistic people , but tends to draw little chibi - esque sketches ( think anelderlymeme on tiktok ? ) and makes little comic skits and pages . he is self - taught and picked painting and drawing up as a hobby when he was seven .

✶ dreads any family visits because it means sitting through a dinner of being constantly berated and spoken poorly about because he’s not as successful or as intelligent ( seemingly ) as his younger sister and for the fact that he “ doesn’t have a real job “ .

✶ attending the university of seoul on a business major in marketing and advertising . his grandparents know , and a few members of sky house but it isn’t something he talks about regularly because he hates school talk and avoids it at all costs .

✶ tough talk for someone who is actually extremely sensitive , though he will never let people see just how much their words actually upset him . he’ll wait until he’s alone and / or the adrenaline has passed to cry over it .

✶ his main causes of crying is homesickness and online hate . he wants to go home so badly , even if it’s just to visit but doesn’t want to deal with his family . it’s just not worth it in the long run . he also takes a lot of online hate to heart even though he knows that its from people who don’t know him and have any right speaking so poorly of him .

✶ avid reader of pretty much everything . the bookshelf in his room is filled completely with books , and there are even books he recently bought and are waiting to be read sitting on top of it .

✶ absolutely loves snow . he will spend hours outside until his nose is red as can be , his fingers and toes are numb and his clothes are soaked through . he loves the cold in general since he’s often so warm .

✶ loves to cuddle and tends to sleep better if he’s hugging something or somebody , the latter will put him to sleep almost immediately .

✶ almost every time he and his brother are together it ends up in a physical altercation . his brother likes to dig his fingers into every single wound that miles has about himself and his family and his parents allow it , but every time miles throws a punch or tackles his brother to the ground are surprised . it takes a lot to get both boys off of each other because if both aren’t restrained they’ll still go after the other .

I don't know if you've answered this question already, but I was just wondering - how do you make your art? Is it digital, and if so what programs do you use? It's really amazing...I wish I had artistic skills...

It’s all digital! Since I haven’t really mentioned it I’ll put down everything I use.

And thank you, but don’t be discouraged about skills. Your skill will depend on how long and how hard you’ve been drawing.

For example, I have a friend majoring in art and she didn’t start drawing seriously until a few years ago, but she’s been drawing everyday and made a lot of improvements. I started drawing earlier but had to focus on my major studies later on, as a result my art is somewhat the same for the past few years.

You can cultivate your skills if you practice enough. A lot of younger people nowadays are god-tier because they have easier access to tutorials and tools than people my generation and older didn’t. They know what to do, what is expected, and what to aim for.

Natty seems to be more polite than her twin on the surface, but in reality, she is just as mischievous and laidback. She is simply nicer and more morally white, in a sense. Natty is a prankster at heart and has done some not-so-legal things to get by, but she usually doesn’t do more than necessary as she only sees them as chores, though she will put her skills she picked up as a stray cat to use when necessary.

PATTON ANALYSIS SVS REDUX SPOILERS I’m on mobile so I can’t cut it under a read more I’m sorry

Boy oh boy oh boy

Patton seems a bit off this time around. Everyone does to be honest. Everyone seemed tensed after the wedding. Naturally so I suppose because Thomas had such complicated feelings towards it.

At first Patton stops himself from trying to correct Thomas and tries comforting him instead. A nice gesture. Yes Thomas was a little hurt, but it was the right thing to do for people he cared about so much! They’d done so much for him, and likely would do the same for him, so it only makes sense he should go. Roman pops up during this discussion and is just as conflicted as Thomas is on the whole ordeal.

Most of it was started in that song! (I adore it by the way) I noticed that not only with the fun graphics of the three as chibis and the pixel drawings, the bottom of the screen was like a rhythm game. Tap the buttons in rhythm with each person singing. I know it’s a fun gag but I can’t help but think it’s symbolic. I think this song with the rhythm game motif shows that they were all in sync. All on the same page and same train of thought, hence coming together to create one song. After that though, it gets rocky.

Roman wanted that call back, acting and preforming is his whole thing so of course he wanted nothing more than to give it a shot! But again, Patton tries to comfort the two. This segways into the ethics discussion as a whole. Why was that the right thing? What do you mean the right feeling?

Patton is more than happy to explain his reasoning, he holds back certain phrases as to try and not upset Thomas (as a result of Remus’ debut episode) but happily explains none the less.

But then there are more questions, more nuance is introduced, the problems get more complex and it becomes much more confusing. Roman and Thomas kept looking for Patton for concrete answers to some very complex questions. This soon got him flustered.

It’s no wonder he got flustered. Patton has always been the more child-like and this more “simple” character. He finds himself there to give moral/emotional support and guide Thomas. He’s been the comedy relief to sides as he brings them down to Earth with his simple thoughts and ideas.

But lately, he can’t be so simple. That simple mindset starts to hurt Thomas as he gets older. It starts with the episode that debuts his room (I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me) his room and how he was treating the things in it/the others was starting to cause Thomas harm. Yea it probably was fine and worked wonders when he was kid, but applying the same strategy to every problem starts to do a whole lot more harm then good.

I think that was the start of Patton realizing he might just be in over his head with Thomas. Sure he’s always been there and guided him through a lot of Thomas’ life, but he can do Thomas harm, and I don’t think that sat with him well. When you built your whole self on doing good for others, acknowledging to can/have harmed others is super difficult. Of course that didn’t come into full view until the intrusive thoughts episode. Logan point blank tells him he was the problem as he was too hard on Thomas. That struck a nerve. Ouchie.

And now it happened. Throughout the video it’s clear through Thomas and Roman’s questioning (bordering on intergation) with him that he’s can see himself putting more pressure on Thomas. He has those expectations for Thomas but now that he realized it hurt him he tries to soften it, often just back peddling entirely on certain concepts. He doesn’t let go of his pressures on Thomas, nor does he let go of the pressure on himself. Patton kept trying to have concrete answers as the two kept asking question. Not once did he allow himself to not have a answer until he broke down into lilypadton.

He broke down. Just as Deciet said Thomas was having a mental breakdown under all the pressure, Patton himself broke under the pressure of having to know. He introduces himself as Morality, he is Thomas’ morality, he holds all his morals, so he assumed he had to know the answer to every question. After all, when Thomas was facing more simple problems he did have every answer. “Why is killing and stealing illegal?” “Because it’s bad.” “Whys it bad?” “Because it hurts people.” I think he grown accustomed to always having a “right” answer so the idea of not knowing was insane to him!

So he hurt Thomas in the process of his breakdown. Many of us do hurt the ones we love when we’re having a breakdown and/or trying to do what’s right. And that must’ve just broke poor Patton. But it finally nailed the lesson in. Patton knew he was too harsh on Thomas, it was already stated to him, but he didn’t really understand it until he actually realized the hurtful impact he had on Thomas.

It’s an unfortunate reality for a lot of lessons. We all know we have the capicity to hurt the people we love, but it’s not until we actually do it do we realize just how hurtful we can be.

So what does this mean? Now that Patton finally hit a low point, he can grow as a person. He already show growth as he accepted Deciet and apologized to Thomas. I think this means we can get a more “mature” Patton. He has a chance to grow out of his child-like persona and thus, calm down and be more mature when addressing future moral and emotional issues.

Which I think is going to be put to the test sooner rather than later as Roman seemed pretty upset at the end of the video... and who knows how Virgil will react to Deciet getting a place at the table.

Name: Alex [Originally there name is *Inserts my irl name* and *More stuff about this and that* And yep!] ~Basically Alex is A nickname since others can’t actually say her name correctly sometimes~

Age: 27

Birthday: November 29th

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight ~She likes someone who is nice and cute (looks don’t matter) and funny maybe kinda awkward sometimes but can be sweet at times.

Race: She’s human ~Asian and a quarter German~

Before coming too the Devildorm. She was a detective and a supernatural detective. [Studying supernatural and seeing if there real or not mostly demons or any other creature]

Height: 5’10

Body type: She’s pretty skinny [Not like her older brother who looks like kinda a tall stick figure...]

Alex’s love interest is Mammon. She’s basically obsessed with him. She thinks he’s funny and cute, Kinda nice and kinda awkward just like her sort of but still she loves him a Whole Lot.

Alex was born with a hole in her heart. Two major surgeries when she was a baby and had to go back to the hospital at four and stayed there for a good solid 2 weeks. (True facts I was born with a hole in my heart ;-;) She’s fine now she just can’t push herself so much. Alex has Bi-polar and anxiety along with depression and PTSD. (A little bit of Anorexia and insomnia) Alex overcomes insomnia by just heating up milk and drinking it. She can’t really handle the others but if she really needs too she will talk to someone about it. (Surprisingly she’s getting a bit better slowly)

Alex’s voice is happy and positive (tries to be at least) Its kinda in the middle of high and low. (Normal lol)

Alex does have a tattoo on her right side of her side and it’s a rose tattoo. She wants too get a tattoo on her back but she can’t decide what tattoo to get in her back. She also has a tattle on her right shoulder and it’s a skull

Alex normally just wears T-shirts and shorts or comfy pants when she isn’t going out doing her job or some errands she’s running, If she is going out she wears her normal black jacket. Dark grayish shirt and black shorts with her boots.

Since Alex doesn’t like dresses she wears shirts with her rad uniform and doesn’t pull her sleeves down (she has her sleeves up)

Alex’s parents are divorced so she lives with her dad. Alex’s dad is also a detective he’s very skilled and taught Alex how to be strong and everything. Alex’s dad is very serious but he’s mostly kind, caring and very happy [My old man is basically a weirdo] Alex’s relationship is good! Her mom and her have kinda a awkward relationship. Alex’s older sister used to be best friends when they were younger but not anymore, they don’t talk a lot but they trust each other a lot. Alex’s older brother is the reason why she has PTSD. Her brother is toxic, she tries to stay away from her brother as much as possible because she doesn’t like being yelled at or called names. She’s afraid that maybe he’ll hit her like he did one time.

Alex doesn’t speak a lot of languages she speaks a little bit of Spanish/Mexican (idk I’m sorry don’t punch me ;-;) and a bit of Japanese (very little).

Alex and Lucifer HATE each other so much they want to kill each other at some point. Alex doesn’t like the way he treats his brothers especially. She is also kinda afraid of Lucifer because he reminds her of her older brother but she would never say it.

Mammon and Alex awkward just awkward because there both two awkward idiots that fell in love with each other but hide it (Alex is pretty good at hiding her feelings for someone more than a friend. Not mammon lol. Not unless Alex is just a clueless moron) but they get along oh just so much chaos

Alex and Levi get along so well! They both like anime and would talk about it so much. But Alex doesnt okay video games (she’s so bad...at them...)

Satan and Alex get along pretty well too they both hate Lucifer so much they pull pranks on him but they both like cats (Alex likes a lot of anmikals tbh) and books too!

Asmo and Alex They kinda and kinda not get along. Alex doesn’t like going to parties [unless she feels like it, it would be pretty rare for her to go too a party] and Alex doesn’t like dresses or makeup. Tho she likes cute things (will she admit it? Yes yes she would admit she likes cute things)

Beel and Alex get along pretty well as well. They both eat a lot and love food (mostly deserts and burgers) There both are too nice and innocent (Alex can be innocent sometimes)

Belphie and Alex yeah they get along they like sleeping so they sleep a lot so haha.

Alex gets along pretty well with diavolo and barbatos. She likes cooking so she would bake with barbatos and Luke and treat Luke as if he was her younger sibling or something. Alex and Simeon get along pretty well too they enjoy talking to each other since he would advise her on things too do and what not to do. Alex probably wouldn’t get along with Solomon because he’s a shady wizard that always wants to try out new spells and she’s a victim.

Alex’s hobbies are mostly drawing and learning the brother’s demon forms and powers. What can they do? How do they do it? (She takes notes)

Alex does have a pact with all the bros she mostly summons beel or mammon and Levi. She would summons them because she’s either cornered by some demons or trying to save other people’s lives from a demon who’s being a bad dog >:(

What sin fits the most...Er that’s a hard one I think Gluttony and sloth mostly. Mostly gluttony because Alex is mostly always hungry (even if Anorexia isn’t kicking in)

Alex is weird and awkward at first but when she warms up too you she is either still quiet and calm or chaotic as heck. She tries to help others and be a positive person.

Alex has a Chinese dragon dog bracelet given by her dad and she holds onto it mostly. She also wears a star necklace given by Alexis when she met Alexis in her dream.

Alex’s greatest fear is being judged and hated by everyone and thinking they will betray her and leave her all alone (basically losing everyone she cares about) Also she is afraid of dying

When Alex figured out she was lilith’s descendant she was shocked and Confused.

Does Alex have a pet. Yes she has two dogs in the human world but I’m Devildorm she has mammon and the other demon brothers!

Alex’s grades in Devildorm. She is in the middle in Math Kinda good and kinda not good sometimes she gets A’s and doesn’t get A’s in math. Social studies and science Tho she has A’s. PE she has A’s (somehow...) Music she also has A’s. English language and arts F’s

Alex other friends are zack and Yuki (Yuki is a OC of one of my friends OC irl) (Zack is one of my OCS)

Alex’s Talent is fighting (I’m not actually good at fighting irl) and playing the violin

When Alex is feeling down she rely on Simeon,beel or Levi and Belphie too. Or satan and asmo

Alex’s room is a bit messy, some papers and files here and there on her desk and kinda on the floor. Drinks on her desk as well and in the garbage and snacks too. A computer on her desk with her textbooks and pencils. Notebooks too. She has a shelf for all her books and some plushies on her bed and a stuffed obey me brothers Zack made and gave her.

Alex is a heavy sleeper and sometimes laughs or talks in her sleep. She talks medicine before she goes too sleep (she doesn’t want too end up throwing up blood or feeling sick too her stomach like when she was younger)

When leaving the Devildorm because Alex will miss them too much (She literally cries she’s sensitive-) But she did return because of the shady wizard and she’s so happy she gets too see them all again heck she even hugs Lucifer and too everyone else’s surprise Lucifer hugs back.

Alex’s D.D.D is Black and her wallpaper is a chibi photo of mammon on her lock screen then her homsecreen is chibi mammon in the corner of her phone bottom left.

Alex likes praising all the brothers because she thinks it’s cute. She also likes being praised by them as well. (Mostly mammon) Alex doesn’t like criticism and would try to stand up for the person being criticized.

Alex’s goal is to figure out more about Alexis and Lilith. Also marrying mammon!!

Alex does play the violin and kinda play the piano. She is still trying to play the guitar.

Alex doesn’t think positive about herself At All. She thinks she’s ugly or not talented enough. She wants others too think of her as a good person and as a friend and not a enemy, Too not be nervous about telling there problems too her and too trust her.

When Alex was a child she was mostly bullied and had a lot of fake friends. But she mostly cared about her family and her dogs, also the future because she would probably meet good people eventually.

For living in the devildorm forever or staying in the human world forever is a hard decision for Alex

Alex did go to the celestial realm and she thought it was more than beautiful and amazing. She did wish she could meet Michael and talk to him about the brothers and how they were back then (maybe next time!)

The pact marks only appear on Alex’s skin when she is summoning one of the demon brothers. The pact marks only appear on her hand (depending on which demon brother it is) also when summoning one of the demon brothers the pact mark glows into there sin color (example: Pact color - Purple - Belphie)

Oof that’s all- that was a lot of typing but oddly my fingers don’t hurt because of typing that much
