My only reason why I want to be eaten by Zoetrope is so I can chest burst like a xenomorph on out, he would probably think the excruciating pain and blood loss is hot but don't we all just want to see the little short man in serious life threatening pain? And idk if it's moreso a crackship or a rarepair that only works in an AU (HACKS up Starstruck), but Reggie's line of "...and I hope Ollie made it out too. I hope a lot of things." It's totally me reading into it but like,,,,I want them to talk because Ollie is not dead to me in my heart of hearts.

Maybe the only change is like Reggie taps into the communication on the radio in Hot Water instead of using the earpiece, so Ollie ends up hearing him also? And they end up getting along really well (with Reggie having to jump through a couple hoops to be like "haha what agency..."). There's an Agency base in the South-East coast of Australia and maybe the Agency ends up adopting him after he washes up on the shore with the escape pod (after HEAVY questioning).

as someone whose knowledge of westerns were obtained mostly thru osmosis and has never seen a single western, i am so glad that oj haywood was my first ever introduction to a cowboy in film. he has none of the bullshit machismo that has come to be associated with the cowboy, but all of the heart and integrity that makes the cowboy so appealing. he loves fiercely. he stands by his sister and makes sure that she knows she's understood and cared for. he refuses to let his father's legacy wither away. he respects the animals under his care, a pointed contrast to a number of the characters in the film. and i love him so much bc he's not "stoic" for the sake of being above everyone and everything. as someone in the spectrum i also see a little bit of myself in him: the way i behave around strangers; the way i show my love; the way i care for those around me. oj haywood is just. so fucking. cool. ok? during the final standoff with jean jacket i could not even blink nor breathe bc. the sheer awesomeness of it.
