Okay, last thing I'll say about this.
Minthara did not torture Halsin. She is not "his abuser."
When you meet Minthara and she talks about torturing a prisoner to make him talk, she's referring to the human on the torture rack near the entrance to the goblin camp. When the player asks her if she has any leads on the grove, she says this:
We captured a human who knows exactly where it is. He's been resilient, but he'll talk.
And if you ask her about Halsin:
I have not seen this druid, but he harbors worshippers of a false god in a hidden grove nearby.
She has no idea that the bear in the prison is Halsin. She never laid a finger on him. (And besides, if she had, he would not be in one piece: she was trained as a follower of Lolth for god's sake, and if she knew she had the Archdruid in her clutches, she'd make good use of that information.)
Case in point: there is no reason for Halsin to be so cruel to Minthara in the datamined dialogue after she explains that she was being controlled by the Absolute. It is against his generous character.

Consecution as a concept is neat, but as with Liches, the entirety of the Krynn Dynasty could have just gone and touched some grass and started a Druid Circle and basically had the same life expectancy without dying and having to do a hard reset every couple hundred years.
A high level Drow Druid who popped out of the Underdark during the moment of Divergence (assuming they're between 100-200, and have natural life expectancy of 400 years) is not quite half to a third of the way through their natural lifespan as of the end of C2. (2-3k life spans are bonkers ya'll)
Further Druids get this cool spell called 'Reincarnate' which can be used to bring back a humanoid as long as you've got a piece of them and they've been dead 10 days or less. It's a fifth level spell. It makes the creature a whole new adult body, and can be cast on creatures that have died of old age.
So, if you've got a Circle of Druids, anytime one of the 'Umavi' dies, they can just go 'Nah, I'm not done yet' and be brought back and get to start over as an adult in a brand new body. AND THEY STILL GET THEIR 1 FOR EVERY 10 YEARS AGING.
You could come back as an Orc and still live another 400 years at the lower end of things; or you could luck out and come back as an elf again and get another 3000 to fuck around.
It's so broken.

Hazel Hill is Gonna Win This One by Maggie Horne In this funny, feminist, and queer middle grade debut, seventh-grader Hazel Hill is too busy for friends. No, really. She needs to focus on winning the school-wide speech competition over her nemesis, the popular and smart Ella Quinn, after last year’s embarrassing Hyperbole/Hyperbowl mishap that cost her first place. But when Hazel discovers Ella…

Eve of Bealtaine | Beltane
Eve of Bealtaine | Beltane
The Celtic Festival of Bealtaine/Beltane which marks the beginning of summer in the ancient Celtic calendar is a Cross Quarter Day, half way between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. While the Bealtaine Festival is now associated with 1st May, the actual astronomical date is a number of days later. The festival was marked with the lighting of great bonfires that would mark a time of…

Visiting the Battle of Druid Hill-Decatur, Georgia
Over Easter weekend, a friend and I met for breakfast and decided to roam around a bit. We both wanted to visit the house where the front yard was filled with sculptural works. Druid Hill is an earthwork site identified and named by welder-turned-sculptor Clark Ashton. According to Ashton’s website, Druid Hill is the historic memorial site of The Battle of Druid Hill, the location of the…
