i've been reading the ohshc manga and there's like way more of it than i thought and a lotta stuff was adapted differently (especially in different orders) for the anime, and discovering all those differences fresh off a rewatch has been lots of fun. and im learning a lot. mori has a younger brother in the chapter that became the chika episode that they just scrapped completely. no more little mori. the alice in wonderland filler episode was a manga chapter but it was completely different. i have reason to believe tamaki's catholic (or was raised catholic?? which prompts about as many questions as it answers)

it also means im getting to see the chapters that didn't make the cut. like the vice principal's soup chapter. do you know the vice principal's soup chapter? it's where the host club makes the vice principal soup. of course

yes, yes, yes anon!! See, this is why I subscribe to the hc that Jean is a super spoiled cat (and deservedly so). Like this man has alllll the cat vibes - has favorites unashamedly, demands pets but only when and where he wants them, turns his nose up for anything but the best food and best wine, cozies up in the best fabrics, naps and sloths about whenever the mood strikes him. Both Jeremy and Kevin are super indulgent with him, and they all know it. But he dealt with the worst and now only wants the best - and they want to give it to him.

It's definitely why in my AU he and Coco rub each other wrong - they're too alike 🤣 Literally kindred spirits both vying for Kevin's attention.

sorry, I have a lot of thoughts lmao. I think that I find it really frustrating that deep down, despite assurances to the contrary, people DO think that Family must come before everything else and if you don't secretly Love Your Family above all else, then you must be defective or broken or hiding it. And I see it so much with this fandom. Like do I think Sirius loved Regulus? Yeah. Do I think he was closer to James and the people he chose to be his family rather than the people he was blood related to and there's nothing wrong with that, particularly when they were all massive bigots in canon? Also yeah. People act like Sirius Has to Love Regulus Because He is His Brother (and he can't be closer to James because blood!! they're blood related!!! you can choose to not be close to your parents but not your bruddah!!!! found families mean just as much as blood families except wait no they don't because if I had a strained relationship with my sister I would be sad. :( idk it's just weird and not enough people in here critically examine whether or not this insistence is harmful.

The head can glow a brilliant orange like a flame when in the night and light herself a path, but most don’t assume kindly of someone in The Spotlight.”

i hate when i'm hit with the "i want to play dnd (or any other ttrpg) with someone so much" because every single time i've tried playing ttrpgs except the first campaign were absolutely disastrous. some got close to being heartbreak level disastrous (my friends and uh. idk how to classify that one person anymore bc i kinda thought they liked me too. anyway, they all ghosted me so. yeah.) and dnd isn't even my fav system, probably because my first game was a homebrew heavily based on wod and it was a good campaign and despite being squeezed in mid-campaign, my character had a great story and even though he died, he had such an emotional epilogue i nearly cried. yeah, guess that's why i miss tabletops... not the whole "got into dnd with people i barely knew because my one friend was friends with the group and then everyone ghosted me forever and idek why" thing. anyway. woooooo. we're just going on huh? i took my meds and i was barely conscious to begin with. bye.
