I had made this outfit a couple years ago, and grabbed it out of my closet to wear at Elfia Arcen a couple weeks ago. It's pretty lightweight and comfortable, even though the fabrics are like 80% polyester (the white lining is cotton). The veil was actually a shawl kind of thing that went with my wedding dress; I repurposed it for this outfit, it clips into my hair behind the flower crown.

Caranthir was one of the Feanorians on my cosplay list, though pretty low priority - until @silverlynxcosplay made this amazing Haleth cosplay in like a day (or a few weeks, but it felt like it was done in the wink of an eye). So Caranthir moved to the top of my list before the Elfia in Arcen this year and was one of the four costumes I concrunched within a month or two.

I was just saying goodbye to a friend of mine when I saw her walking and I was thinking like: you look an awful lot like Astrid, but your hair is different and there certain costumes changes... So I asked if she was cosplaying from the HTTYD-franchise and she said yes and then I asked who: and she was like, an older version of the daughter AND I COMPLETELY LOST IT MAN. I gave her a hug and JUST LOOK AT HER. It's her own design but it's so beauitful I just wanted to share it with my fellow HTTYD followers ^^
