Fake Feminism
Fake feminists preach equality but practice superiority, forgetting that feminism is about lifting everyone up, not tearing anyone down. They are concerned with getting ahead in their own lives and opt for superficial solutions to complex social issues because it's more convenient than actually thinking of a solution and putting it into action. They're concerned with hating men and "the patriarchy" and other women who disagree with their personal agendas. They want to separate women as the good and men as the bad, seeking to polarize genders into simplistic categories of good and bad. They blame all their problems on everyone else instead of standing up and taking charge of their own lives and making a positive difference in the world. The extent of their compassion is limited to a small circle and even that is fleeting. They don't want to know the truth. They shy away from uncomfortable truths, preferring comforting illusions. They want to be comforted and have everything sugar coated for them. They don't care about anyone beyond themselves. Fake feminists might dislike or even hate men because of bad experiences they've had with them. They might blame all men for these bad experiences and treat them unfairly because of it. Having a few negative experiences with men doesn't justify hating all men. But real feminism is about treating everyone equally, regardless of gender. It's about making things fair for everyone, not about hating anyone. True feminism seeks to empower all genders, while fake feminism seeks to tear down one to elevate another. So, real feminists don't hate men, they want everyone to be treated fairly and respectfully, no matter their gender.

"So Meghan celebrated International Women’s Day by throwing women under the bus. She talked about women spewing hate towards other women. Saying: “What I find the most disturbing frankly, especially as a supporter of women, is how much of the hate is women completely spewing that to other women, I cannot make sense of that.” Then she called out female executives in senior positions for supposedly not doing anything to stop the online hate. “There are a lot of women at the highest executive level who are great champions of women and great philanthropists, and they are working in these spaces, and yet they’re allowing this kind of behaviour to run rampant.” “And at a certain point, they have got to put the do’s behind the say’s and really make some changes on a systemic level.” In other words, she want wants women who criticize her to be censored. I can say the same thing about her. She’s doing nothing to stop her sewer squad spreading lies about princess Catherine, who is recovering from major abdominal surgery. She has not addressed the lies being spread about Catherine and Thomas Kingston, whose wife is dealing with losing her husband under the most tragic of circumstances. She said nothing when her mouthpiece Scabies named Catherine as one of the ‘royal racists’. Yet on Oprah, she referred to Catherine as a “good person”. So as a big shot Archewell executive and a duchess, why doesn’t M practice what she preaches? The biggest bullies on the internet right now are her sewer squad. Yet she does nothing! "

Can somebody explain to me how the so-called """"""feminists"""""""" of the fandom have made it their life's purpose to continuously hate on the TWO FEMALE KEY PLAYERS of A song of ice and fire, and rebrand that as feminism?
Like, we're talking about the two main female heroines of the story, a story that became popular precisely for having these two female characters, the exiled teen sex slave and the orphan little girl that suffocates from society's expectations. If you call yourself a """"""feminist""""""" and a member of asoiaf fandom and you hate/don't care for these characters, guess what you're certainly not.
How did we come to this? What happened to this fandom? It feels like a nuclear catastrophe going through the tags. All I see is an army of people who joined the fandom because the TV show got really popular, then started repeating the same slogans again and again without giving one fuck about the actual story being told. The five players, the five outcasts, the dwarf, the bastard, the cripple, the exiled sex slave and the non-conforming lady, these are the heroes of the story. These characters. This is why the story became popular. I don't understand how this horrible mutation happened in this fandom, I will never get over this.

The #GirlBoss movement in the MCU is extremely pseudo-feminist.
I could be totally off-base with this, but has anybody else noticed that here lately the mcu has had a slight pattern of making a few female characters ridiculously overpowered as well as turbo-hyped by the narrative and marketing…
This specifically includes Wanda, Carol Danvers, and Sylvie.
I’m in particular talking about how all 3 of them had far less time for character exploration and strength build-up than the majority of the other more powerful heroes, had fairly bland and uncreative personalities compared to the other more powerful heroes (Wanda was coddled by the narrative and not allowed to have any ownership in her wrongdoings which would’ve made her more complex, Carol was a victim of the “having the same arrogant attitude as the douchebro male characters is all it takes to make a Strong Female Character(TM)” writers’ mentality, and Sylvie with mary sue-ed to hell), and were generally made more about the cool powers and ‘oooh such a badass’ moments and the aesthetic than the actual depth.
My point is… they’re all so shallow and performative. It’s like the (mostly male) writers looked at the female character and scoffed and said “ok there’s no way this lady’s gonna become a fan fave on her own- we have to help her. We have to give her a boost. I have zero faith in women being able to gain popularity by their own merit (because who’d be interested in a woman, ammiright?), so we can’t just give her a compelling backstory and let that be it. We have to make sure she has the most tragic backstory of anyone on screen at any given time, and we have to make sure the audience knows it! We can’t just give her a specific set of powers and depict them in an interesting and unique way. We have to make her stronger than any other character she’s going to share screen time with and we have to have her flaunt her powers every ten minutes to remind the audience how strong she is! We can’t just make her intelligent in her own way and give her witty banter with the male characters. We have to make sure she makes them look like idiots and condescends them as frequently as possible so the audience knows it! We can’t just flesh out her morals and let her get things wrong sometimes. We have to make it so she’s always in the right and the audience should always be on her side! And even when she does something wrong, we have to make sure the audience knows that it wasn’t really her fault and she still has the moral high ground! That’s the only way we’ll ever get people to like her as much as the main male characters!!”
It’s just…. This is just rank with a lack of confidence in women. They approach the idea of having women front and center with equal parts skepticism and greed. They’re so out of touch with what women want in superhero films and just what women want in general. They fall into the trap of thinking feminists want everyone to know that girls are actually superior to guys, when in reality we just want to be treated with the respect and humanity and agency guys have always been treated with.
And by creating these female characters the way they do (making sure they’re not equal but decidedly better than the male ones, making sure they’re nearly infallible strength-wise, making sure they’re never allowed to be held accountable for mistakes) they literally defeat that whole point. They’re being extremely counterproductive to what feminists are actually trying to do, because they aren’t actually interested giving women genuinely good representation- they’re just interested in pandering to Twitter stans and casual female fans who form their opinions based on a first glance and girls who are so starved for rep that they’ll praise movie-makers for serving up rank crumbs.
They give us female representation but not really, just like they give us queer representation but not really, and like they give us poc representation but oftentimes not really…. Because (surprise surprise) the multi-billion dollar corporation does not actually give a shit about minority issues.

The new law in Kansas is the most high-profile success of a well-financed and systematic campaign to establish anti-trans policies across the country. It is being coordinated by a secretive group that has consistently opposed policies that protect and expand women's rights.

Pro Tip: If you find yourself agreeing with the people who are saying that women are just naturally dumber then men then you're not a feminist.
(yes, this is regarding the chess ban) (yes, that's their justification)

From Mattress Actress to Couch Surfing VICTIM
Tumblr media
Canellecitadelle @Canellelabelle
"Meghan is her own worse enemy and that in itself is her karma. Here is a women who at 43 years old, STILL cannot do her mea culpa, take accountability for her own failures, learn from it and move on. She exists in 3 modes only:
Perpetual victimhood
Race baiting
Lies on lies
The same dishwasher story that has already been debunked, she continues to tell it, like the compulsive liar she is.
Tumblr media
But then again, Meg was always a liar (even as a child):
A Class project directed by a teacher, demanding ALL students write a letter to submit to Proctor & Gamble. Meghan changed the story to "she decided to write the letter after witnessing injustice toward women at 11 and her letter changed the course of advertisement history" what an insufferable bore
A failed actress who couldnt even afford a house or car in her name successfully marries into the RF after catching a Dim and desperate prince. She is given status and titles
YET she manage to lose it all after bullying female staff and creating drama out of everything in her jealousy over the future Queen; meghan changed the story to "she was bullied and Everyone hated her because she was the best at royal life and she was black" Best at what? she couldn't even be arsed to learn the first 6 lines of the British anthem
Tumblr media
Meanwhile For the Past 6 years, in online orchestrated hate campaign, in interviews, books and netflix docuseries, Meghan has not stopped attacking and harrassing Catherine, at every turn; But she is a "Feminist."
Tumblr media
More to the point, Meghan is always sitting on other people's platform to babble. At least, if you are going to appropriate, other people's work, projects or platforms, use it to promote some type of work or project you have going on. NOTHING.
Tumblr media
Meghan goes from couch to couch, from coast to coast, moaning about her 18 months (70 days of employment) in the RF because she simply has NOTHING going on for herself.
Tumblr media
Mrs 'unemployed and unemployable' is Living off manufactured drama to hide the fact that she has nothing else to do.
That is why she is retelling ad nauseam the same lie she told when she was 11 years old; that is why she is holding onto her titles and the Royal family with the might of her veneers.
Tumblr media
Meghan has Nothing going on for herself Beside being prince Harry's wife. NOTHING And that does NOT make her a Feminist.
Tumblr media
No meg, It actually makes you just another shallow "Real Housewife of Orange County."

How can they call themselves 'gender critical' while demanding rigid enforced gender roles? This is NOT feminism! This is sexism! Feminism is supposed to be about equality, and doing away with arbitrary constraints on women...

Tbh I don’t get why people are now hating on Taylor just cause Lana didn’t win. Like sure I wanted Lana to win since she deserved it but why put down another successful woman for it? It’s not Taylor’s fault that the Grammys are unfair. Even in the article of the man who takes part in choosing the winners he started criticizing Lana, BoyGenius, and Taylor. The whole paragraph really shows how misogynistic the Grammys (and other award shows) are. And it’s even more unfair how we bring other women down for things they can’t control this especially showed earlier this year in the golden globes with the sexist jokes about the Barbie Movie and Taylor Swift. Everyone decides to go hate on the woman but never on the man. So before you start saying that “oh I’m a girls girl” or “I’m a feminist” think of your actions cause they really show the opposite

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you have to be a real p.o.s to think like this.
"some men commit crimes so idc if any men kill themselves" is a f*cked up mindset.
also how does thinking like this help women in any way, shape or form?
this is just anti-men bullshit. hold the men who commit crimes accountable. dont blame all men for the crimes of the guilty.

So you call yourself a feminist and claim you support women's rights and gender equality for all. Okay. That's cool. But are you like, normal about trans folks? Especially trans women? Nonbinary folks even? What about intersex folks? Are you normal about them? Do you think bisexuality is a valid sexuality? What about other mspec labels? And do you support women that are bi/pan/omni/ply? Do you include women of color in your feminism? What about abuse survivors? Do you support all abuse survivors, regardless of gender? Are disabled women included? Muslim women? Jewish women? If you answered no to any of these, I have some *very* bad news for you...
