Yes I still ship them
Big silly lizard and his fluffy moth wife. I have not drawn these two together in awhile so I decided to change that. And yes I changed Mothra’s design and I like it for the most part.

Random fun fact: As I was designing a mothman OC, I got curious as to what moth fuzz was made of. Like, it looks so fluffy and soft (even though I am absolutely TERRIFIED of moths...), but insects usually aren't fuzzy...? So, I looked it up.
And apparently they're scales.
Not like, reptile or fish scales. Not even related to those types of scales.
My brain is melting. Why are moths like this?
It's also the same with butterflies, too.

Sunday emergency moth! Cup moths (family: Limacodidae) are Great Moths. Why? Well...
Just look at them. Look. Absorb their fluffy perfection.
Now go look up some slug moth caterpillars. See? Amaze.
They leave behind little cup-shaped cocoons. Delightful.
These cup moths are Chalcoscelides castaneipars, photographed by John Horstman (@sinobug/itchydogimages) - find them here and here.
I'm sharing like this so I can add alt text for fellow screen-reader users (my eyeballs don't work all the time, yk.) But if you have the capacity, go and look at their moth album on Flickr here. It's truly a joy to improve the day.
