they are honestly the cutest, they love spoiling you and pampering you, and you love pampering them alike

they love to cuddle and have you play with their hair

shuri teaches you both xhosa and you guys love it

shuri picks up on you and riri’s lingo sooo quick its too cute

sometimes you catch them staring at you just admiring you

What are some of your favorite Fred and Daphne moments? Romantic or platonic

AAAH thank you for giving me the opportunity to ramble about them!! always so so appreciated. and for specifying romantic or platonic too!! while a lot of their significant moments together from the 90s onwards have been somewhat romantically charged, i love them even when they're just a goofy pair of friends with no immediate romantic implications.

because (mini fraphne history side tangent), they weren't always intended as love interests! the "fred chooses to search for clues with daphne because he fancies her" reading of the original show technically isn't true — they were just paired off because the writers found them boring and wanted an excuse to get them out of the picture for a few scenes. which makes the fact that they've since grown to become an iconic duo in their own right all the more inspiring!

so without further ado, here are some of my favourite moments of theirs!! 💙💜

the best birthday present ever — zombie island

if i could count their general existence in this movie as a single moment i would. i am so weak to the fact that even after the gang splits ways, fred and daphne stick together, and fred plays such a crucial supporting role in daphne's dreams/career/life. and their relationship hasn't descended into being just boring coworkers — daphne has been so busy with work that she forgot her own birthday, but fred is sure to make it special by doing no less than getting the whole gang back together. the way he teases her before revealing them, too!!! and the hug she gives him when he explains. i get such cosy, "known each other since forever" vibes from them in this movie, like they're just so comfortable and silly with each other and (sobs into my hands)

my hero — scooby doo and krypto too

the way this movie has already given us so many fraphne moments for the books. the Literal Kiss aside, this scene just made me smile from ear to ear. i'm not always so hot on the jealousy subplots these two often get, but i appreciated how this film had a more light-hearted take on it, and how fred was simply confused rather than upset. additionally, his attempts to impress daph are just so funny and sweet, you get the sense that he's just hamming it up to make her laugh and doesn't care if that's all he ends up doing. of course then he gets so into it that he doesn't register the monster right behind him, and jumps into daphne's arms just like the rest of the gang always do with him. the way he clings to her!! and how she says "oh come on". they are disasters and they need each other in this essay i will.

you're never going to lose me, fred — mystery incorporated

following their relationship in this show sure is a journey... and not always the best one. while i understand that they're teenagers going through a lot, it's sad to so often see their inherent chemistry as a duo lost in miscommunication and arguments. which makes the moments where they connect and come out stronger as a couple all the more rewarding!! this is hands down my favourite scene of theirs — while the conflict that leads up to it is uncomfortable (fred tightly scheduling their activities together), i like how daphne addresses it quickly rather than keeping her feelings hidden and simply expecting fred to pick up on them. by now she understands that fred needs direct communication (autism!!!), and that's ok!! meanwhile, fred has grown too; he actively opens up to daphne about his fears of losing his loved ones, something i don't think he could or would have done at the start of the show. he's come to understand his own emotions and the importance of expressing them. both of them learn from each other, and are able to move forward because of that. it's a wonderful little moment that really showcases the best of them!!

i love you — stage fright

THE fraphne scene. god. where do i begin. the fact that daphne wrote lyrics about her feelings for fred to the music he composed, and was terrified of ever showing them to him. but then she decides to break the condition she established to velma (only confessing to him after the contest), throws caution to the wind, and just,,,,, confesses her love to him live on stage in front of thousands of people!!!! and how fred looks so happy and content playing along to these lyrics that i'm sure he knows are about him, and when it comes to daphne singing "i love you", he says i love you back with ZERO HESITATION!!! like he was waiting to say it too!! because they're mutually pining dumbasses who will cry if they make eye contact in a remotely romantic context!!! god!!!!!!! also the nose boop before daph goes in for the kiss. adorable.

the engine / the driver — curse of the 13th ghost

this scene is another that has a lot to say about their relationship in a general sense, and it's so special to me!! i'm not crazy about this movie as a whole, but i love the running theme of fred and daphne's differing leadership qualities, and how they balance each other out. fred just wants to keep things the same as they've always been (autism!!!), but that often leads him to coming off as controlling or dismissive when he's in Planning Mode. he doesn't mean it, because he genuinely believes the best in the gang and their individual skills, so it's no wonder that he grows insecure when his place is questioned. but by the end of the film he accepts that daphne is the engine, the glue that fundamentally holds the gang together and keeps them running as a unit — they would be nowhere without her constant energy and willingness to take action. however, daphne reassures him that he'll always have his place as the driver, the man with the plan, the one to put things in motion and support everyone with all his heart along the way. and the tender way they look at each other to cap it all off!!!!!!!

knight in shining armour — sword and the scoob

i saved the (probably) best for last. less serious analysis here and more just me gushing because i spin this moment around my microwave brain on a daily basis. continuing the theme of "fred embraces his role as team cheerleader", he's not even upset when daphne has to fight in his place — he planned this and is wholeheartedly supporting her, to the point where it makes her flustered (she’s HIS knight in shining armour)!! and him giving her his ascot as a good luck charm!!!! nem found dead on the floor. not to mention "sir daphne/sir fred" and how they continue to call each other that. i swoon every time. they are so romantic in their own very silly and very teenager-y way and i love moments where they're just so unapologetic about that!!

You gotta be kidding me!

You woke up restless in a shitty mood, once again. You had not heard from him in days and your anxiety quickly got the best of you.

Did he forget about me? Is he done with me? Is he really not saying anything to me about this?

The doubts grew day by day and you couldn’t shake the yucky feeling that Minho had dumped you. You grabbed your phone and opened the dating app on which you two had met. Shakily, you tapped on his chat and scanned his profile. You noticed it right away – he had updated new photos. Alluring depictions of his beautiful body, like he was ready to be conquered. You felt your chest tighten and gasped for air.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, this cannot be true! Tears already falling from your eyes, you put the phone aside and wondered what the hell was going on.

You thought back to when you had met him for the first time. You went on that app for some fun, knowing damn well that you were not ready for a relationship just yet. You were eager for your first trip to Korea and nothing, especially not a boy, would ruin that experience for you. But having non-committal fun with no strings attached? Hell, yes! Especially, when the fun looked like Minho.

You remembered him texting you first – proposing a loose relationship that was going nowhere since he wasn’t looking for anything serious himself. He was funny, witty and extremely handsome. You liked his duality ranging from serious and severe to playful and goofy. His pictures showed him cuddling his cats, as well as dancing with force and elegance. You remembered praying for him to like you back – which he thankfully did.

You smiled sadly as you thought back at his first interaction with you. He tried to rizz you up by using cringy pick up lines which made you laugh, liking him more immediately.

With sadness in your heart, you thought back to all the dates you had with him, all the time you two had spent together and how special every moment was. Minho made you forget about not wanting something serious, the connection between you two being too special, too strong to ignore.

At least that’s what you had thought. Were you mistaken that badly? Had he played you? Had you been nothing but a nice fuck to him?

You remembered your first date – sharing sweet drinks in a dim lit bar talking about all the shared interests you had. You grew up in the same area and moved to the city once you got sick of a narrow life, you discussed your passion for dance or bonded over your sarcastic sense of humor. He laughed at your jokes, his eyes beaming with desire for you. You bit your lip in anticipation, nervous and shy at the same time. You ended up under your umbrella that night – coyly kissing each other under the warm spring rain, not wanting to let go. Minho chuckled into your ear about how kDrama-esque this whole moment was.

You saw each other again the night after. He invited you over to cook for you, little did he know you planned on being the dessert. You remembered how it felt to kiss him, undress him and let him have his way with you. He knew what he was doing, your body giving into his automatically. Tangled hair, sloppy kisses and eyes filled with lust – you enjoyed every second with him. But you started to really like him in the moments after getting intimate with him. He was holding you in his strong arms, listening to you ramble about your plans of going to Korea, cautiously listening to every word you said. Minho was very attentive to you and your needs – the moment strands of hair fell into your face; he placed them behind your ears, so you were not bothered by them. Or for him to have a better look at your face, you didn’t mind at all. He looked at you with adoration in his brown eyes, making them shine even more.

“I know I might sound crazy, but I need to tell you this. I’ve only known you for a very short time, but I don’t feel like it.” He positioned himself on top of you, his nose touching yours slightly, his lips brushing yours seductively. “Actually, I feel like I’ve known you for a very long time, babygirl. And not only know you, but like like you. A lot.”

He looked into your eyes daringly, hoping to get a reaction out of you. Truth was you felt the same way. But you had learned to play it cool, to not give too much to a man, hence you played it nonchalantly. You smacked your hands on his bare ass and smiled at him. “Lee Know, don’t you dare falling for me!”

You stuck out your tongue and squeezed his firm ass cheeks once more. Minho’s widened eyes turned into crescent moons, as he burrowed his head in the crook of your neck laughing.

Thinking about those moments made your heart ache even more but you were not done with visiting memory lane just yet.

You thought of your third date with him; it was the first night you spent over at his place. Time was limited because of work but you used every minute as if it was the last – kissing, fucking, talking, sleeping, fucking, cuddling, parting ways but this time it was different. This time you started to catch feelings – how could you not? Compliments, confessions, secrets, future plans; Minho was behaving like he caught feelings for you, too.

“I told my friends about you.”

“I haven’t been meeting anybody else. Have you?”

“This week has been stressful as fuck and this evening is the first time that I got time for myself, time to breathe. And I thought of unwinding by myself. But I’d rather spend it with you.” 

Were you foolish to believe that he really liked you, too? Had he been deceiving you that badly? Was he like that with every girl? He couldn’t be, there was just no way that he was lying that painfully. You really felt special to him but now you felt played, used and thrown away like stinky trash.  You wiped away the tears as you thought about the meaningful texts he had sent you.

Now those texts were all that was left of him.

You thought about the last time you saw him. You went over to his place, spontaneously on a Friday night. You had to leave town shortly after for a couple of weeks, hence this would be your last time seeing him for a long time. It irked you. You didn’t want that much space between the two of you. Sometimes, when your anxiety got the best of you, you wondered if it would be all over by then. Would he forget about you? Would he date someone else? Was this too good to be true?

You ignored those feelings for now, but he noticed your changed demeanor. “You seem gloomy, y/n. Are you okay?”

Were you? No. Were you telling him about your fears? Hell no. You forced a smile on your lips and shook your head. “I’m okay, don’t worry about me.” Minho frowned, but let it go. You enjoyed every second of your 4th date as if it was your last one – who would have thought that this was really the case. This time you didn’t spend the night, much so to Minho’s dismay. He ordered you a cab and walked you out, waiting for you to be collected. Even though it was a warm night, it was still chilly, which made you hug him naturally. Minho started to get annoyed because of the delayed cab but stopped when he found you laughing. “Why are you laughing?” You shook your head amused. “Well, we are standing on this empty street, hugging each other while the night sky is clear as day and you can see the stars shining for us brightly. I don’t know about you, but I am thankful that the cab takes a bit longer.” Minho’s features softened and he smiled at you, holding you closer to him. “You really are the neutralizer to my toxic thoughts.” He kissed your nose and hugged you even tighter.

This moment felt perfect. Your head rested against his chest, his scent all over you. You sighed contently as you heard him whisper in your ear: “It’s going to be so hard to not see you for that long. Like, painfully long. But you know what? We’ll text each other every day and send a lot of pictures and before we know it, you’re back – and we’ll be the happiest when we see each other again.”

You often thought about that promise. A promise that he did not keep. You felt him distancing himself, turning away from you. You gave up after initiating the last conversations as you felt too unwanted. You spent many nights lying awake wondering if your fears became a reality. Did he really forget about you? Was there someone else? Why not end it properly then? Was he okay? Did something happen to him? You pondered on these questions for a long time, arguing with yourself if you should ask him. But you didn’t. You were afraid of his reaction. "I told you I don't want anything serious with you!" And when you saw the new photos on his dating profile you were set on being rejected. He must had lied, must had seen you as a game. As prey that you fed kind words and loving actions to, so it did whatever you wanted it to do. Was that it?

I’ll give you a lil of everything so you have options, hehehe. (And if anyone else wants to give these ideas a shot, to write or to draw, go ahead! I probably won’t write these. Just please credit me if you do anything with these prompts!)

Lee!Papyrus Prompts:

(Someone of your choice) wants to ‘test something’ on papyrus. So he, gullibly and eagerly, holds still and allows them to.

Sans wonders if after all these years Pap is still ticklish. He has a plan to catch him off guard.

During Papyrus’ first cooking lesson with Toriel, he seems to be taking it too seriously and gets discouraged and stressed. Luckily, Toriel knows how to show him that cooking can be a lighthearted, non-stress hobby.

Sans has a stressful day, and Papyrus’ laugh improves his mood. He decides to use him as a stress toy.

On the surface, Papyrus experiences a thunderstorm for the first time, and is deathly terrified. Frisk shows him there’s nothing to worry about with a few tickles.

(Someone of your choice that isn’t sans) touches Papyrus’ exposed spine, curious of how the bones feel. His squeak raises some questions.

Frisk wants to show Papyrus their special attack.

Sans discovers that Papyrus makes funny noises when he’s tickled for long periods of time, such as snorts, squeaks, screeches and others. They cause him to laugh, too, so both of them are laughing happily.

Papyrus has the hiccups. (Someone of your choice) knows how to get them to stop.

Papyrus claims he’s too old for a bedtime story to try to be tougher. (He’s determined to be tougher to join the royal guard.) Sans takes this as an opportunity to mess with him and ‘cries’ into his shoulder that ‘he’s sad that he’s not his little brother anymore’ (just makes goofy sobbing noises and nuzzles his face into his shoulder and neck) until Papyrus admits he’s wanted a story the whole time

Papyrus detests that Sans calls him a goofball in front of their friends. Sans wants to prove to them how dorky his little brother is.

Papyrus is crying in his room, secretly thinking he’s a failure. Sans comes in to comfort him and cheer him up.

Child!Papyrus falls down and gets hurt. He begins to cry, but Child!Sans hates to see him cry and quickly tickles him to get him to laugh instead and forget the pain.

For once, Papyrus has a nightmare where he loses Sans. He needs physical comfort from his brother, but Sans takes it to another level.

Child!Papyrus is eager for Santa to come, and won’t go to sleep. (Older Child, maybe Teenage?) Sans has to get him to sleep somehow.

Papyrus comments on how fluffy and soft Toriel’s fur is after a good hug. Toriel can’t resist.

Frisk gets a random call from papyrus. Turns out he accidentally called them while in a tussle with Undyne. Frisk hears him get the hell tickled out of him. Papyrus realizes all too late that frisk has been listening in.

Undyne sneak attack tickles Papyrus in public, leading to embarrassment.

(Character(s) of your choice) find out how badly tickle teases and baby talk make Papyrus falter.

Sans remembers fondly of how he used to make Papyrus anticipate his tickles. It still works.

After all these years, papyrus is still scared of the tickle monster.

Papyrus gets raspberries from someone who isn’t sans (has lips and lungs) and realizes how different it feels. He goes into hysterics.

Sans can’t resist the fact that his goofy brother fell asleep with one arm over his head. He tickles him in his sleep and melts over his sleep-giggles.

Ler!Papyrus Prompts:

Sans reminisces on how Papyrus used to be smaller than Frisk. Papyrus becomes irritated and lifts Sans up, tickling him in mid air.

Papyrus loves to squeeze the squishy, ticklish human!

Sans wants to go out to Grillby’s. Papyrus has his ways of getting sans to stay home and eat with him.

Sans is having a nightmare. Papyrus gently tickles him in his sleep to make him calm down.

Papyrus is a hungry tickle monster. Frisk had better watch out!

Frisk is curious of how sans and papyrus can breathe air despite not having lungs. Papyrus eagerly shows them through raspberries.

Papyrus is curious of the human’s appendages that he doesn’t have. (Ears, stomach, cheeks). He decides to investigate.

Papyrus just wants to hear his brother laugh.

Undyne needs a good reason as to why she should let papyrus join the royal guard. He has a convincing strategy.

Papyrus is on a ticklish rampage, wanting to ‘spar’ his friends with tickles. (Lee(s) of your choice)

Sans won’t help and do housework with papyrus, so he’ll just have to make him.

(Character of your choice) is on the verge of tears. Luckily, the great papyrus is a master at comfort!

Sans is falling asleep at his sentry station… what better way to wake someone up than to give them a few tickles?

(Character of your choice) realizes Papyrus’ scarf tickles their neck when he hugs them. That gives Papyrus inspiration.

(Character of your choice) starts a tickle fight with papyrus. When he takes his gloves off.. they know he means business and is determined to win.

Papyrus discovers Undyne is ticklish. She can’t summon her green attack (or about 100 spears) fast enough.

Papyrus chases a very eager and very ticklish frisk on a high speed chase around the house!

Undyne has a sore spot on the back of her neck from training. Papyrus offers to (platonically) massage it out for her. He soon realizes the reason for her squirming.

Papyrus has a feather duster that was used to clean Sans’ dusty room one second… and used to clean Sans the next.

Sans, frisk and Papyrus all compare hand sizes. The fact that Papyrus’ are so much larger gives him an idea.

Frisk is crying, which causes papyrus to lift them up and comfort them. After they’ve calmed, their vulnerable position gives papyrus an idea.

Sans is asleep, papyrus gets a childish sense of mischief, deciding to sneak attack his brother with a raspberry through his shirt. His belly laughs are so worth it, even if sans gets a little annoyed.

Teen!Sans has a birthday present for Child!Papyrus. The little guy won’t back down until sans lets him open it early.

An annoyed Papyrus prods at a very drunk Sans in Grillby’s, not expecting him to be ticklish there. Sans becomes giggly, accidentally causing a scene.

Switch!Papyrus Prompts (more than one lee/ler)

Sans and Papyrus go to a human doctor for the first time. They didn’t expect check ups to tickle so much!

Asgore is trimming that hedge in the shape of Papyrus’ smile… but needs him to model and hold still. Sans just happens to stroll by… and make that very difficult. Papyrus gets distracted… and eventually retaliates on sans, forgetting about the hedge. Asgore has to break them both up in the tickliest way possible.

Sans is bored while Papyrus is watching MTT, and so he begins to crack jokes during the commercial break to annoy his little brother. Annoyed, Papyrus tickles Sans until the commercials are over. But the moment the show comes back on, Sans lunges at Papyrus. Soon, the show is long forgotten.

Neither Sans or Papyrus are tired one night. Sans, feeling mischevious, begins to tickle Papyrus’ neck. It eventually devolves into them chasing each other around the house, taking each other to the ground with tickles.

Papyrus and Sans do the ‘try not to laugh’ competition.

At a sleepover between Papyrus and (character(s) of your choice), tickle antics unfold.

Frisk is confused about Papyrus’ bones, Papyrus is confused about Frisk’s skin. Antics ensue.

That annoying dog, always getting into the brothers’ house!

Sans picks on Papyrus for his squeal, Papyrus picks on Sans for his snort.

Undyne and Papyrus’ once tactical but playful spar slowly devolves into a very determined tickle fight.

What got you into tickling ?

What does it mean to you?

Honestly I think I’ve always been into it! Since way back into childhood I just remember always getting a funny little feeling when I heard the word or saw it in movies/tv shows lol at one point I’d just look up the word in a dictionary and thesaurus over and over like a little weirdo LOL 🥴 but as I got older, I realized (besides the intense arousal lmaooo) it just made me feel wonderful, seen and safe. Knowing someone just wants to make me laugh and see me smile a bunch is so cute! The fact that they’d have to pay such attention and explore what makes me react in certain ways, and knowing they love it even more, makes me melt tbh. It’s such a sweet kink!

But as I discovered the community and started meeting people like me, I realized how special it is to make connections with people who also understand; a lot of people I’ve met here have become some of my closest irl friends and I’ve even mingled them with my non-kink friends lol it’s just so special! You and Steve had decided that going on a road trip together was going to be a good idea, although in hindsight it would be more like two children being let loose.

You didn’t really have an idea where you were going but you had snacks and eachother and that was all that mattered.

You and Steve had packed up the RV that you both had rented for the next few weeks, and you got into the passenger side and Steve got into the drivers side, you made sure that you had a bag full of cassettes that you were going to blast this whole journey, if Steve liked it or not.

You started out with “Love is a battlefield” by Pat Benatar, and that got yours and Steve’s vocal chords nice and warmed up for the concert you were going to have.

The whole time Steve was driving, his hand was resting on your thigh, and still after all this time you’d been together, it still gave you butterflies.

If you’re being honesty Steve himself still gave you butterflies, In school he was the “it” guy, and you were the quiet boy who liked to sit in the library to calm down after a lot of talking and noise.

It wasn’t until Billy Hargrove showed up, and the limelight was off Steve that you began to see him more, you saw him sitting in the library reading and actually trying with his work, instead of walking through and making snide comments to Tommy H.

You always sat in the same place in the library, there were some soft beanbags, and there was a green one in amongst them that was always yours.

Slowly over time you noticed Steve edging closer and closer to you and your green beanbag, he started off at the other side of the library and then by the end of the semester he was opposite you on a purple beanbag.

He scratched the back of his neck before he cleared his throat, you looked up from the book you were reading and raised your eyebrow.

“Hey i’m uh i’m Steve.” He smiled sheepishly, like he was nervous to talk to you, which was funny because you felt like it should be the other way around. “I know, Steve Harrington, I’m y/n” Steve blushed, and looked down at his lap. “I was uh wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out after school or something.” For someone who was the alleged king of the school, he was a stuttering blushing mess, but that was okay y/n found it cute.

You’d pulled over at a gas station and both ran inside giggling like school girls, you always laughed when you were with Steve, there was just something about him that made a smile stretch across your face.

If someone were to ask you what your favourite thing about Steve was, you would have to say it would be his smile, although he would be upset it wasn’t his hair, he had this special smile that he saved for you, it was goofy and it was lopsided and it was so Steve.

So if someone were to ask you why you loved Steve Harrington, you supposed it would be because he was Steve Harrington, every single flaw he came with was so perfectly his, that you couldn’t even call it a flaw, everything he did made you fall in love more and more every day.

The So Called Rub of Jericho

I wasn’t always a full time AEW viewer, in fact I began watching regularly in the summer of 2022. What attracted me was Eddie Kingston. 

Eddie had the physique of a plumber, the gear of an indie guy who forgot his main attire at home so he scrapped together what he could find, and the speech of an angry New Yorker who spent the days yelling at kids on his stoop. That is what makes him so appealing. At the time, Kingston was feuding with Chris Jericho and his faction The Jericho Appreciation society. This faction had some of the guys from the previous Jericho stable, The Inner Circle, with some new additions in 2.0 and Daniel Garcia. The gimmick: Sports Entertainers who hated wrestling. If it sounds like an obnoxious WWE parody, then you’re right it was. You got the joke immediately and did not have room for expansion, they were guys who dressed in goofy matching outfits and “entertained” that’s really it. Kingston would get back up from the Blackpool Combat Club and LAX (Santana and Ortiz). They would do Anarchy in the Arena and Blood n Guts. The feud had strong moments with Kingston walking down the ramp during AitA, blood on his face, a cold dead stare, and a canister of gasoline and Kingston and Co. winning the BnG match. 

However it would have the stankest, wettest fart of an ending where Jericho and Kingston would have an abysmal barb wire match that saw Jericho winning with botches a plenty. Kingston would go on to get in a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara who provoked him. He was in the wrong to get physical with someone who is an aggravating little turd, and he would tell you that himself. A suspension would follow and Kingston gave a half sincere apology on the short lived AEW reality tv show to which I do not care enough to look up the name. 

This is what feuding with Jericho does to an M. F. 

Kingston is not the only victim I saw fall to Jericho, Daniel Garcia is another name that comes to mind. Garcia was the young blood of the JAS. Originally under the tutelage of 2.0 and then absorbed into the JAS. He’s a gifted technical wrestler, but was a SANADA type, who did not really have any personality but was good at the graps. The goal, at least what we the viewers assumed was the goal, was to make Garcia a new bright star. He became the center of the JAS vs BCC feud, with Danielson wanting him to join their stable as he saw the potential in him. Garcia would get a clean win over Dragon and even went after the ROH Pure Title. The Dynamite where he challenged for the belt saw him get a special entrance coming out to DR BIRDS by Westside Gunn (the Jack Nicholson of Wrestling [thanks Olly!]).

 This was in his hometown, and he got the victory, this should’ve been his star making moment. Until the swerve happened. What we thought was going to be him breaking away from Jericho he would continue to be his underling, he lost the belt back to Wheeler Yuta, his momentum came to a screeching halt, but hey at least he dances funny now! Garcia has been mostly another guy with a dumb gimmick that makes him meme worthy. This misusage can be pointed at Jericho, but Tony Khan is equally as guilty.

Jericho would also go on to win the ROH World Title. Weirdly, he would have straightforward clean wins over previous ROH champions/regulars and one Tomohiro Ishii. Among these matches Jericho would have another worst match of the year contender with Colt Cabana. One that is meant for the boys.

 A rib directed to a extremely disgruntled CM Punk. To be fair, Cabana was wearing the wrong socks which messed up his flow (be patient he’s only been wrestling for a few measly decades) but for Jericho what was his excuse? Jericho would get a “win” over Danielson, Castagnoli, and Guevara at Full Gear (140,000 buys) but then unceremoniously lose it at ROH Final Battle (25,400 buys hm wonder why he would drop it on such a low buyrate) to the guy he beat for it rather than put over someone new. Going by Cagematch Jericho would only lose 4 singles matches. Sure you want to keep someone like Jericho strong, especially since he's a former world champion. However, that number is insanely protective of a 53 year old guy who’s at the tail end of his career. 

Jericho would try to make up for this, spending 2023 losing more than winning. It was not great. 

Right after losing the ROH belt, Jericho would put over an unknown Action Andretti in a shocking upset.

 Action Andretti in 2023 is 10-16 and most of his matches are in ROH. Ricky Starks would have an amazing showing in his world title match, and to follow that up he would have to do his time with Jericho. He would beat Jericho on his first encounter and then go on to beat him once again at Revolution. It felt like a waste of time, the matches were not spectacular, Ricky was going downhill and thankfully Collision would save his heat, but there’s strong rumors regarding his departure for the WWE. 

His next victim was Adam Cole, and Keith Lee who already struggles to get on booked on TV had to lay down for Jericho to sell this program. Jericho would team up with (read: try to get in on Saraya’s heel turn heat) The Outcasts to beat up Britt Baker to give Cole some character motivation.

 The segment where The Outcasts and JAS hate-crimed Baker and Cole was strange to me, because the JAS have two female wrestlers in their ranks. It is as if Jericho simply forgot about them. To give Cole and Jericho’s matchup more juice, TK brought in Sabu and the match was made an unsanctioned match (but was aired on PPV?). The match was bad, and the feud forgotten. Luckily for Cole, he is so over that he moved onto to have one of the best programs with MJF. 

Following this Jericho would face off against Sting for a mini feud, but the Jericho Rub could not harm Sting because he is Sting. Simple As.

Enter Don Callis. He betrayed Kenny Omega during the BCC vs Elite Feud and replaced him with Takeshita as the wrestler he would be the personal manager to. He became the most hated heel in the company and having personally sat in the crowd where he had his first town hall as a heel, I can confirm the boos were deafening. Callis would then reach out to Jericho to join the Don Callis Family faction and Jericho was going to join. Jericho would team up with Takeshita and cheat to beat Guevara and Garcia. This would lead to the break up of the JAS, where all members sans Jericho and Guevara would continue to team with each other almost like they just became the *AS. 

Then Callis saw his cronies give a beat down on Jericho, which I must applaud Jericho’s ability to find himself working with the most over acts in the company, he always finds a way to involve himself. Hell he even pitched a program with a returning CM Punk which I no do not doubt would have been the worst wrestling match ever put on American broadcasting! Jericho is a shark and if there’s blood in the water he will find it. Jericho joined the Elite vs Callis feud, and even faced a Will Ospreay at All In. The build to this match was baffling. Ospreay is practically a heelish face in NJPW. He was the face in the match against Kenny at Wrestle Kingdom, and mostly works face. However he’s heel in AEW. Sure he worked heel vs Kenny at Forbidden Door since Canada, but the build to All In saw him be a heel. Then at All In he’s a face since London! What is going on! Jericho just turned face! Now he’s doing heel tactics and even said at the aftermath Dynamite he should have cheated??? Who wrote this?? At least Ospreay went back to NJPW and is finishing up his run there.

Jericho and Sammy would have tension teasing some kind of split. Now before I go any further, I must preface: I do not like Sammy Guevara. He is an overused, overexposed, mishandled and misbooked worker who represents zero IQ wrestling psychology. He’s a terrible promo and has terrible character work. He has attempted to turn face only to go back to heel because when he tries cutting a face promo and you can hear the simultaneous clicks of remote buttons to change it to Family Feud. 

Having said that, even I thought it was egregious for Jericho to beat Sammy. How does one man spend all year losing draw the line at his understudy? Guevara suffered a concussion during this Jericho and Kenny vs Don Callis, and is out on paternity leave. Who knows when Jericho will do him right, perhaps never. 

Jericho and Kenny have been teaming, they beat the Young Bucks for their Title Contendership and are now facing Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the Tag Team Championship. Starks and Bill have been giving beatdowns to Kenny and Jericho to build for the match. They even had the worst, and I mean this with all my heart, the worst in ring promo battle I have ever seen. Awful jokes, no selling insults, and doubling down on lines that did not land with the crowd. The look on Kenny’s face screams that he is checked out. 

However, as of writing this, Kenny is now out on injury for an indefinite amount of time. Jericho is now lost in the wind and I imagine both Starks and Bill are relieved. 

Jericho has proven this past year to not be any benefit to anyone he works with. He finds out who is the most over and tries to get in on their overness despite it making sense. All of his programs seem slapped together, as if Tony allows him to plan out his angles without any pushing back. I imagine he pitches these to guys who may want to have the opportunity to work with someone with decades of experience, but they do not see through him as a clout vampire. The goal of Jericho is how can I keep myself on TV, he has DEMO GOD plastered on himself for crying out loud! 

His character is supposed to be an aging rockstar who desperately clinging on for dear life, but it does not help when that is just who he is in real life. With Kenny out, what is next for Jericho? Hopefully retirement.

I do - commenting is probably my most favorite part of being a fic reader, so the comments section is important to me. there’s so much to love out there, and the comments are my favorite place to express it

none! don’t think I’m angst guy, really. I have some wips with pining, with complicated family feelings, with hurt, but it doesn’t quite feel like angst. and certainly won’t end that way!

well, surprise: sun shower has a pretty sweet ending. it feels like a beginning more than an ending, though.

my mind is always thinking in connections, but that usually comes out in AU form (drarry: grace & frankie! parent trap!! the beckhams!! wesper princess diaries 2 AU!!!), rather than like everyone showing up in the same scene. so no, i guess.

not yet, but I think I would really love this. I feel so much love about other people’s writing and so excited to share in ideas, so I feel like this format would be such a delight for me.

I don’t think I have one all-time, because once I love something I love it forever. so I just keep collecting more all-time favorites. but drarry I feel the most immense about and committed to, which is saying something because there’s very little I love that I don’t love immensely. and to be honest, my commitment to drarry is certainly because I love them as characters, but it is also about the community being so wonderful. so thank you, y’all, it’s really special here.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably never will?

so I had this completely bonkers idea that I call “avada banana tag” which is when someone dies everyone they avada-ed comes back to life, like banana tag. i.e. when Molly kills Bellatrix, we get Sirius back, etc (yes I know that only happens in the movie but bear with me for goofy concept reasons). like, the spell only holds as long as they do? makes it a pretty short-sighted way of killing someone. but that’s as far as the idea goes because it’s so absurd and messy, and I don’t think canon rewrites are something I’d know how to do justice. but I think it’s so funny and fascinating, so if anyone wants to run with it please feel free

100% it’s coming up with ideas. you should see my idea dump document, it’s abundant in there. and maybe description, I hope, and sensory experiences

17. What are your biggest writing weaknesses?

I won’t call it a weakness but I have less experience with plotty things, and get really stuck in dialogue that feels off.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I’m not fluent enough in anything else that I think I could do this myself, but as a reader I really love it, both when I do and don’t understand what’s going on. and I like communicating that they’re speaking in another language without just translating. I think I’d love to incorporate my other languages (spanish and ASL) into fic, and I also love when Draco speaks french. when it’s well done I think it’s so impactful!

I think it was actually someone else’s OCs, what feels like forever ago

20. What is your favorite fic you’ve written?

the one that’s still in my brain that I think about most days… it’s so very beautiful. I hope one day it makes it out of there!

Awakening

That's right! guess who's finally back into the swing of things! your favorite pink haired fox thing, things have finally settled down. and i'm somewhat caught up with my collage work, but now i feel safe and mentally secure enough to start working on my blog and my boys again; if you all have noticed or not the blog has gotten some visual upgrades, mainly it is lore and that lore will be unlocked going further down the line. i want the lore to be like a fun puzzle, i will be sprinkling hints as i go. now that states this blog will still be goofy silly haha 2p hot men, but lore is still fun to have and i like making it now some more updates below

For Starters, it's been a while since i've shared about my precious cats. We'll start with my older son, Thomas (tried to be Tomato but Thomas stuck) he is a big fat boy, love him a lots and his Brother Catalina (we thought he was a girl until he grew nuts)

so those are how the cats are and of course if you guys ever want i'll happily show some more pictues of my sweet baby boys. but now to the actual star of the blog and what you really wanna see. . . . . .

Now the 2ps, so i have made a realization that on this blog i currently have 41 2p characters for the blog and 164 characters in total for the blog. so to make it so i don't end up fucking dying from trying to ya know trying to draw and keep track of every character. i will be separating main 2ps from side 2ps, you can of course still talk and ask the side cast stuff but i will mainly be focusing on the main cast. speaking off the main cast they will be getting some outfit changes/new looks just because i wanna give them some nicer outfits, the main cast will also be getting some more Indepth information that i will be posting on the blog so you can learn more about some of the lore i have for them

Klaus and Azrail are in grey cube jail because they are so ungodly pale that they disappear on the white background so i needed a different color to help them pop out but looking at it they are still kinda pale, at least they're a little bit more visible.

of course i also have a good few asks that i need to answer from last i left the blog off, although i won't be answering all of them as i will mainly be cleaning out my inbox and answering the ones that i feel like i can answer in a way that won't be disappointing. that includes a joke one my boyfriend gave because he is silly (i love him despite his silliness) so rest assure that there will be some asks finally answered but i hope i will get some new ones seeing as i will be more active (the art will be simpilar to help me do this easier)

i will also be doing more artist adventures with my 2ps, one of those things i want to do is animation and animatics. so expect to see some of those in the future, but if you would like to see early wips and other stuff i may do i do have a youtube channel although so far it's only character playlists for some random 2ps but i will still give the link if you guys are interested

um i'm not sure what else i should mention in this update, uhhhhhhhh oh! right you might be wondering why i'm orange simple reason is that it's autumn so ya'know orange. yeah seeing as my Sona Jam is an animal like creature i made it so she changes during the seasons. mainly to reflect how i like to change during the seasons (close and hair wise) funny enough in the species i made for Jam the they only change for winter but Jam is special as she changes seasonally.

each are different flavored too, Spring: Strawberry Lemonade, Summer: Cherry lemonade, Autumn: Orange Lemonade, Winter: Blackberry Lemonade

i just went and saw beetlejuice again, honestly hearing about how much u enjoyed seeing the tour multiple times rlly influenced me to go again. you’re so right about them being more comfortable interacting with each other. i loved seeing the little things that have changed! justin added some super funny bits during the scene with the sandworm and the maitlands just seemed extra goofy that night it was wonderful :)

(i do have to add a horny bit for u tho - tour juice really does use his tongue more than the other juices huh)

Hell YEAH

I love hearing about other people's experiences seeing the show. It is definitely something to try and see more than once if possible because there is always so much going on that it is easy to miss the interactions between characters while focused on the main action of a scene. It is so much fun to see Justin's interpretation of the titular character: a little more feral, a little more creature, a less put together, a lot more tongue. He gives me delicious vibes and I like it. Much more monster than sympathetic . . . (all my opinion, of course!). Allow me a moment to reflect and give my opinions on the different Juices, including opinions on the way they're played. This will be below a cut so feel free to scroll on by.

With so many people playing Beetlejuice, differences are inevitable, especially since the character breaks the fourth wall and interacts with the audience. I've seen Alex, Will, Andrew, Elliott, and Justin in the role (alas, I've not yet seen Matthew or Lee!) and some observations: To me it is clear that the actors with an improv background have more freedom with the character. They're much more willing to take a chance with something and much more comfortable with 'rolling with it.' The two that have less of an improv performance background are very good from a technical standpoint, but aren't as 'loose' (for lack of a better term). They have a script and they stick to it without much straying from it. That's not a bad thing! Just different and much more 'classical' than the others.

However, that ability to go with the flow allows for more spontaneity and can make those audience interactions or playing to the audience extra special. The actors that know how long to stretch a bit, when to move on, how to handle audience interruptions and whatnot with ease and command just make the character and show that much better. We've all heard of Alex shushing adults. Andrew rolled with it when the audience spontaneously shouted back "We see you, we appreciate you, we fear for our lives around you" during his speech, going off script and dismissing us with, "Nope. Didn't work," before continuing. Justin has stretched the whole "look Lydia, now we both have dead moms!" bit to the point of uncomfortable hilariousness. All of them are pros at that sort of thing, and make the live theater experience that much more memorable.

I love how Will and Elliott play the character. It's fun and it's on brand; the best thing about Beetlejuice is there is no one right way to be Beetlejuice. Brightjuice is iconic. Blumjuice is softer, more in need of cuddles. Koberjuice is big and has lots of 'daddy' vibes. Mattoxjuice leans towards Blumjuice, but a little more playful. Collettejuice is more on the creepy, dangerous side. Basically, what ever flavor Juice you want, it's there. And with the musical opening in Brazil, Japan(??, plus other countries, hopefully!), and the cruise, there'll be lots more to love!

Opinion on teen titans!

I generally really love the teen titans (with exceptions). I really love seeing how characters interact with each other so I tend to eat up team comics. Koriand'r is one of my favorite characters and I really grew to love her through the teen titans. (i just think she's neat and also i want her to step on me????) And I think her and Dick's relationship is so special too. And Dick and Donna's friendship is so important and wonderful to see. And just in general I think the teen titans is really vital to Dick's character. (don't mean to act like the world revolves around Dick (heh) but he's one of my favorite characters and also one of the founding members so of course I'm gonna talk about him a little)

I don't know anything about Jason's titans run to be so fr with you. I haven't read much Jason tbh sue me.

I haven't read much (like i've read some but not ALL) of Tim's titans runs but I'll get around to that eventually bc I'm working my way through a chronological read of his stuff right now. From what I've heard one run is very good and the other is very bad but I'll see how I feel about them when I read them. It was so silly and goofy of DC to put the core four young justice kiddos into the teen titans like idk why that's just really funny to me.

I'm really sad Damian's Titans run was so bad because he's my favorite character 😭 Like do you ever read something and the entire time you're going "i hate this i hate this i hate-" yeah that was me reading Damian's titans run 💀

But I also think like it kind of sucks that some characters have become really synonymous with the titans because DC just de-ages them to keep them a "teen" just so they can be in the TEEN titans bc they don't know what the fuck else to do with them (Raven.... girl they did you so dirty...). Like you're really trying to tell me she was on the team with Dick and now she's somehow YOUNGER and on the team with Damian??? like DC I know you reboot the universe every 3-5 business days but be sooooo fr right now 😭

as for the cartoon: oooooh that was my childhood SHOW. I remember just sitting in front of the TV and my friend's house while a marathon was going on and just being so enthralled with it.

Anyways, this turned out super ramble-y so sorry for that. I didn't go into much detail I just kind of typed my general thoughts bc this has already gotten longer than I intended 💀

GENERALLY though my thoughts are

Shagg & Scoob original pilot version

I question if I should stick with this title. But it’s one that might make the most sense considering this stuff I wrote here.

As a heads up, I have talked about my own feelings on the Velma show and whatever else. Such as I feel like the need to give Scooby-Doo an “Adult take” Isn’t for me because it’s already enjoyable as a franchise for all ages. Besides, there has been already more “Serious” takes anyway. And this is likely something I won’t pursue more in making. Yet it may pop up in my mind from time to time. But I feel like me making my own take on Scooby-Doo isn’t really needed. Yet considering the Velma show exists, I might as well make my own “Adult take”, or I question if I’ll call it that. Because this is a more “Serious” take on my original ideas. And it seems more TV-PG to TV-14 as it’s developing. Or just simply, PG-13.

Even though the original concept for this was much more comedic. Yet it likely still is very silly considering the focal characters are Shaggy and Scooby and what I’ve described is the development of their “Bromance”. Yet the other Mystery Inc gang are still main characters. Again, the fact this developed into something more serious when the original idea was, “It has Red vs Blue like humor but it’s wholesome” and well...this feels like if Zack Snyder and Brad Peyton had made their own Scooby-Doo thing.

Besides, we’ve gotten shows like What’s New Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, and we even have the Scooby-Doo movies going from 1998-2001. what I’m writing isn’t fully special. And I don’t need to make it, yet I am. And I’ve been having trouble writing the “First case” because I am going to be reusing some of the classic monsters from season 1 from Where Are You. The monsters I’ve been thinking about are the Black Knight, the Snow Ghost, Space Kook, Captain Culter, the Swamp Witch and zombie, and the Phantom Shadows. Along with some others. I wanted to keep these a surprise. The stories with them are basically remakes/reimagining's of the original episodes.

Considering the voice actors I have chosen. Keep in mind I have nothing against the voice actors that currently voice the characters. The reason I did that because if I am going to make my own take on these characters on these characters, however new and unique they are. I wanted to choose different voice actors to well, have you envision those voices. And it’s funny if you recognize some of the people I have chosen. Besides, this is basically just fan fiction. Besides, I have wondered about drawing these characters.

“In the peaceful town of Coolsville, Shaggy Rogers is a young outcast, when needing help for his serious anxiety issues, is he given a therapy dog named Scooby to help him in life. As the two form a bond, strange things start happening, resulting in the accidental forming of Mystery Inc consisting of not only Shaggy and Scooby, but also Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, and Velma Dinkley, and surprisingly sometimes Shaggy’s little sister when they can’t leave her alone.

But during this, the group discovers Scooby can somehow talk. As more mysteries come about to them whether they welcome them or not. And trying to figure out how and why Scooby can speak. Something soon comes to Coolsville that not only endangers the town, but also relates to the origin of Scooby himself. Leading to an event that will test them all. Specifically Shaggy as he tries to protect the closest being he has to a best friend.”

At the age of 16, he was diagnosed with Autism which explains some of his “Goofiness” such as his overuse of the word “Like”. Even with some folks asking him if he does drugs considering his behavior. Since then, he tries to hide the truth from people who don’t know him personally and wanting to be seen as “Normal.” And wanting a friend that can understand what he’s feeling without putting the stress on his younger sister and not wanting to tell his parents.

Shaggy “Norville” Rogers.

Voiced by: Kyle McCarley (Infinity Train)

Bio: A 20-year-old outcast who suffers from heavy anxiety issues. Despite being seen as a cowardly slacker, Shaggy is a very empathetic person who puts others needs before him. Along with being very loyal to his family and whoever else. He also has a huge love for food and has “High metabolism.” And he was also a top student in his gym classes and track.

But when getting with not only Scooby, but also the rest of the gang. He soon learns to accept himself as a person.

Similar to Shaggy, he is usually very cowardly and hungry. But also, empathetic and loyal to a fault. And his friendship with Shaggy only strengthens as they realize they have more in common than they thought. And despite learning how to talk, he doesn’t even know why and assumes him being able to understand humans talk and talking himself is normal. He still has the mind of a dog, but it’s been expanded a little. Along with the fact he’s able to eat anything Shaggy can eat that would actually kill a dog.

Scooby-Doo.

Voiced by: Fred Tatasciore (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur)

Bio: A 1-year-old Great Dane who has the unnatural ability to speak in broken English. Given to Shaggy as a therapy dog to help him in life. When Shaggy and the rest of the gang discover Scooby can talk, they freak out but get used to it. While also making sure no one else finds out to protect Scooby himself.

Unknown to Daphne, Shaggy has a crush on her and wants to win her over. But worries she may reject him.

Daphne Blake.

Voiced by: Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Infinity Train)

Bio: The 20-year-old single daughter of the Blake family. Despite her family being wealthy known for selling fashion products, and while interested in being a supermodel. As a kid, she wanted to solve mysteries, yet hasn’t thought about it in a long time. But these days, she wants to be independent and is Maggie’s babysitter to make her own money.

His father wants him to become a cop, yet he doesn’t want to. Which creates a strange relationship between him and his father.

Fred Jones.

Voiced by: Roger Craig Smith (Resident Evil)

Bio: A 20-year-old college football jock. But he hides a secret that he thinks is very embarrassing, he loves traps. He despises being called a “Himbo” because he doesn’t like being seen as a meathead. When in actuality, he’s very levelheaded and intelligent. Yet not up to the level of Velma. He also has good leader skills.

Velma Dinkley.

Voiced by: Mae Whitman (The Owl House)

Bio: The 20-year-old eldest daughter of Nicole Dinkley, curator of the Coolsville Museum. Particularly a loner, studying criminology and one of Shaggy’s first friends. She joins up with the others to help them due to her expertise's in finding clues. She has a younger sister going to a magic school.

Maggie “Sugie” Rogers.

Voiced by: Isabella Abiera (Infinity Train)

Bio: Shaggy’s 6-year-old sister who’s more curious and less frightened than her older brother. She is also in on the secret that Scooby can talk along with the four young adults. 

But in actuality, he’s a very emotional stable person whose teenage years were “Difficult” that he doesn’t like to talk about unless he feels he needs to. He legitimately cares for his son to where he even doesn’t mind Shaggy not wanting to be called “Norville” in public and only wishes his son could tell him about his issues.

Stu “Casey” Rogers.

Voiced by: Matthew Lillard.

Bio: Shaggy and Maggie’s 50-year-old father who is a well-loved psychiatrist within the Coolsville community. Yet despite that, his personality is unlike his job. Considered to be very “Laid back” yet he talks about these insane stories that sound unbelievable tall tales to make people laugh. Such as talking about his best friends “Billy” and “Randy” and others in stories that make people genuinely question if he’s actually psychotic, hiding behind a different personality. Even stories where he was given nicknames like “Stevo”, “LaFlour”, and whatever else.

What’s also amusing is that while having a different group of friends. He mentions he’s still in contact with “Billy” and “Randy” after high school.

Stefanianna Blake.

Voiced by: Grey Griffin.

Bio: Daphne’s 50-year-old mother who owns fashion building and wants Daphne to focus more on leading the business.

Franklin Jones.

Voiced by: Frank Welker.

Bio: Fred’s 50-year-old father. The sheriff of Coolsville. A strict parent who only wants the best for his son.

Have some Halloween movies in no particular order

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is a great time, if you can find it. It's a love letter to so-bad-it's-good horror movies from the 50's and 60's which were all ambition and no talent e.g. Plan 9 from Outer Space and Manos The Hands of Fate. One of the funniest and most quotable movies I've ever seen!

House is as gorgeous as it is spooky and goofy! If you've not seen it, you're missing out. It's made by a director who made advertisements and a lot of the special effects are what would have been common in Japanese ads at the time.

Martyrs goes on the list for that one asshole who needs something extreme. Not that it's a bad movie, of course. But if you're that asshole and have yet to see it, have fun! If you don't know what I'm talking about, this film is not for the faint of heart and I mean it! Look up "French extremism" if you're curious. Again, if you've not seen it and don't like lots of blood and gore and little left to the imagination, this is absolutely not for you.

Valerie and her Week of Wonders is a gorgeous example of Czech new-wave, about a girl becoming a woman in a village of vampires! Strongly recommend this one if you like House, it's super colorful and whimsical!

Tetsuo the Iron Man is my idea of a more fun kind of extreme film. This is one of those movies I've seen several times and can't seem to remember the story, but suffice to say it's a wild ride about a metal fetishist who becomes sort of a metal monster in a similar fashion to Tetsuo in Akira becoming a giant flesh monster. It's got a very goofy tone and is shockingly wet for a movie about rebar.

The Thing is never not fun. I'm sorry to say I don't know my Carpenter as well as I should, I'm just too stuck on how much I love The thing and may never move forward. Yes I've seen Halloween, just I like The Thing better.

The Devils is a movie you can't watch in your home in a legal capacity, Warner Bros is never releasing this one on home video. Rest assured you can find it. It's a Ken Russell film about a whole convent of nuns (the Mother Superior played by Vanessa Redgrave) are so in lust with this priest, played by Oliver Reed, that they all fein demon possession to evade persecution. The complete version of the movie includes a scene in which all the nuns bang a crucifix. It's one of those movies I say the production team went to "the cool face store", because wow there's a lot of cool looking faces!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, because there will always be virgins

Young Frankenstein was Mel Brooks's only funny movie. Fight me! (men in tights was okay i guess)

Bram Stoker's Dracula. What more need I say?

I can't easily pick any one Jan Svankmajer film, so this is the Svankmajer portion of the list. For the uninitiated, he was a Czech stop-motion animator who made these hyper realistic claymation films, often with a dark context. My favorite feature length films of his are Alice (a telling of Alice in Wonderland), Faust, and Otesanek (his final film and magnum opus, aka Little Otik aka Greedy Guts, based on the fairy tale Otesanek about tree-root baby turned vore-monster). His films aren't necessarily scary, just very unsettling and disturbing.

Hellraiser 2 because I haven't seen it yet and people keep telling me it's the good one, as if the first one wasn't delightfully generous????

The Witches is a movie that upset my very Christian grandmother one time when I was a kid, watching it on TV at her house. I don't think she understood the point that the witches aren't the good guys. I know it's irrelevant, I just thought it was funny. I miss you, Nana.

The Worst Witch. Can someone tell me where to watch this? I never saw it before and I wanna see some tacky Tim Curry schlock

eXistenZ is a movie which I only saw for the first, second, third, and fourth time ever one week last year and I'm ashamed as a Cronenberg fan that it took me so long! Not necessarily his most Halloween-y movie (I'd argue that would be The Fly), it's just a lot of fun.

Think I'll stop there, that's a good sized list.
