-Bruce loves to spoil you in many different ways

-obviously he buys you a ton of gifts, like he will buy literally ANYTHING you want he doesn’t care how expensive

-like Bruce we GET ITTT UR RICH.

-if you dont like him buying you things then he’ll stop ofc, ik some people dont like when people but them stuff (i personally dont really like it)

-but he also spoils you with how much affection he gives you. Bruce isnt shy about telling you how much he appreciates and loves you.

Thank you for replying to my question! In that case could I request a Bruce Wayne imagine. One where the reader graduated college, bought a car & is now working a lot at her job. She’s been a bit stressed bec she hasn’t taken a break. Bruce surprises her at her job once her shift ends to take her on a date. & her coworkers & friends start teasing her. Basically Bruce wants her to destress and have fun. Then he expresses how proud he is of her. Just him being a supportive and loving boyfriend.

Also if you could throw in the reader’s friends asking if Bruce bought the car & if she’s gonna quit working bec he’s rich. But she says no to both bec she wants to make her own money & work hard. (Bruce ends up hearing this & it just confirms to him how she loves him for himself and not the money)

Summary: Even with Bruce as their partner, Reader still aims to do what they want with their life and love Bruce earnestly at the same time.

Warnings: Overall fluff with maybe one or two bad words

A/N: Thank you so much! Based on your request, I wrote it as more of a drabble since my version of an imagine usually only comes with about a paragraph of writing like this. But if you'd like a condensed version that's made into an imagine, let me know!

The past few months have become all blurred together in your mind. To be honest, you were certain that you've spent more time at work than you have at your own home.

Adulthood wasn't quite what you had expected it to be. Graduating college and jumping straight into the workforce seemed like everyone's ideal, but this meant that you hadn't gotten an opportunity to take a breather.

But you supposed this is what you signed up for. A car loan wasn't going to pay itself. But even then, there was something fulfilling about what you did. Being able to be independent on your own terms gave you a sense of security you never knew you desired.

With that being said, you still wished you had a little more time for yourself and your boyfriend.

The thought of him almost made you a little emotional. You two haven't had much quality time together recently and yet, Bruce had been nothing but supportive towards your ambitions.

He told you time and time again that if you ever needed help with anything, all you had to do was ask. It truly felt nice to have someone on your team for a change.

You looked up at the time and realized that your shift was finally over.

You sighed and wandered back to clock out and grab your things when you heard hushed whispers and giggles.

Your coworkers were all huddled together, talking to each other like they were sharing a secret.

"I can't believe- oh! (Y/N), get over here! The Bruce Wayne just walked in. I can't believe it!"

Your eyebrows furrowed together. "I thought I was supposed to see him tomorrow..." you said under your breath.

When you looked up, all eyes were on you.

"You know him?" one of your coworkers asked eagerly.

You gulped. "Well, yeah. He's my boyfriend..."

You suddenly felt hot.

Your coworkers were absolutely stunned at this.

"You're kidding. You're in a relationship with the city's rich boy?!"

You just nodded, not sure how to respond.

"Oh my God. Then why the hell are you working here? He could literally pay all of your bills and then some! I bet your car is already paid off because of him, huh?" they giggled.

You almost wanted to roll your eyes at this. You were your own person. You didn't need saving, and you didn't need the man you love paying for everything that you could have earned yourself. It just didn't feel right to you, but to each their own you supposed.

"I'm actually paying off the car myself. And why would I not want to work? I enjoy putting in this effort to support myself and see the impact I'm making. He can do what he wants with his money, and I'll do what I want with mine. Now, if you excuse me, I am going to clock out."

With that, you grabbed your bag and jacket and walked over to the entrance, finally seeing that familiar face you love so much.

The moment he caught sight of you, his eyes lit up, a soft smile spreading across his lips.

"There you are. I was starting to wonder if I came at a bad time."

He leaned down and gave you a gentle kiss on the cheek, taking your hand in his as you both exited the building.

"I'm sorry. I just wasn't expecting you today," you answered honestly.

His smile widened. "I wanted to surprise you. I know things have been busy and stressful for you recently, and I was hoping a date night would alleviate some of that."

You stopped walking and looked at him, your stomach doing a couple flips.

You just kept staring at him, taking in just how perfect he was for you. He knew how to make any bad moment better in an instant. It's like he always understood what you needed even when you didn't know it yourself.

"What is it?" he chuckled nervously, a little bit shy from your gaze.

"I don't know what I did to deserve you," you responded softly.

This made his cheeks go all rosy, causing your heart to speed up. He was perfect.

"I could say the same for you," he reasoned.

His hold on your hand tightened as he pulled you into him, holding your body close to his.

"I overheard what you said back there, about me."

Now it was your turn to blush.

"Yeah?" was all you could produce.

"Yeah." He placed a kiss on your forehead. "I'm so lucky to have found someone like you. You're one of the only people I know that makes me feel seen as me, not just by my last name."

Your eyes met his at this. "Bruce, I'd love you even if you were just an average person like me."

He leaned his face a little bit closer to yours.

"You're not average, (Y/N). Not to me."

He then pressed in a little further and joined his lips with yours, kissing you like it was the first time all over again.

Once Upon a Dream

Bruce Wayne x reader

Summary : As you and Bruce gets ready for a charity gala , you two danced to a familiar tune in your childhood.

A/N: just got inspired by listening to Once Upon a Dream so I decided to write this

“I know you, that gleam in your eyes is so familiar gleam”, As you were singing the song, getting lost in the tune, you didn’t notice Bruce coming behind you and only noticed as he sang the part where Prince comes in. “Singing the song again” he smirks at you while you give a shy smile as you blushed as he gives you a tiny kiss on your neck.

“I couldn’t help it, the song is nostalgic and feels magical every time I hear it” you answered as you remembered a fond memory with him when you two were young.

Your parents were good family friends with his parents, that’s how you met. They even hoped you two would end up together.

You were dancing in the garden of the Wayne manor while you were looking at the flowers while singing “Once Upon a Dream”. While you were dancing in the garden while singing, you didn’t notice the young boy was watching within the distance. Just when you finished the solo part of the princess, he joined in, “ The way you…” when you finally noticed the boy, you blushed and created some distance due to shyness.

“ I am sorry I didn’t mean to frighten you. It’s just I heard your voice. Your singing is quite lovely” he complimented as he held one of your hands while he scratched his head nervously. “I am..” he started to introduce himself but you stopped him, “ You’re Bruce Wayne” as you finished what he was about to say. “ Our parents know each other,” you answered. “ I am y/n Auclair” you introduce yourself as you hold his hand while looking at each other intensely.

“I guess we met before” as he broke the sudden silence.

“We have” you stuttered

“Didn’t you say we met in a dream” as you finally understood the reference he was making. It’s when the prince met the princess in the forest and started to dance together while singing the song before finally falling in love.

Only then you two started dancing together while singing the song together as Alfred watched afar as he took a picture of you two dancing together in the garden like a fairytale ending.

You smiled at that fond memory. That was why “Once Upon a Dream” was your favorite. Not only because your mother sang that song as a lullaby if you had trouble singing or when you were waltzing with your father, but because that is how you met Bruce when you were children. A boy just wandering in the garden and a girl just singing freely with the birds.

“Dance with me” Bruce asks as he takes your hand into his. “ Of course” as you two get into a waltz position. Just the two of you alone in your own world, you danced together to the song you were singing earlier.

“I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream” sang Bruce as you two danced together. “The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam” as he sang the Prince’s line causing you to smile at him singing. While he rarely sings, you know of his secret talent of singing and enjoy listening to him sing especially if it’s just the two of you like this intimate moment.

As the song comes to an end, you two finished dancing together. You look each other in the eyes. You look at the steel blue eyes as they stare at yours with adoration and gratefulness. He didn’t hesitate to meld his lips with yours. You return the kiss as you raveled your arms around his neck as you felt him put his all into the kiss you shared. The two break the kiss the same way he entered it. Bruce grins at the dreamy sigh that escapes your lips, causing you to be flustered due to being delirious.

Alfred suddenly came in just in time in the room. “ Master Bruce, Miss Y/N, although I am glad I came at perfect timing, I must remind you two would be late to the gala.” As Alfred left to do other business. The two of look at each sharing a smile, as you to finished getting ready for the gala

As you go to the gala, you will greet other sponsors and the elite with Bruce. Ever since people got wind of you two dating, they called you two the Prince and Princess of Gotham. Little children of the wealthy families couldn’t help but greet you and greet them with warmth, as they see you like a fairy tale princess in the dress you are in.

After that, you went backstage to get ready to sing your song. Bruce comes in to help you get ready to perform your song and cheer you on. “I have a little surprise for you after your performance” Bruce whispers into your ear after you two share a kiss. “What kind of surprised ?” You asked in a teasing smile, as you wondered. “I rather have you wait” as Bruce gives you another kiss before he leaves to join the crowd.

You went onto the stage to sing the song you chose for the charity event. As you sing your song, the moon shines on you as if the night sky clears up just to hear your voice. As Bruce sees this, he smiles as he hears your ethereal voice singing the lullaby-like song, calming the mind when people hear you sing.

As you finish your song, people applaud your performance as you curtsy. As you gracefully come off the stage, several kids come up to you, praising you for your singing skills and staring you in awe. You thanked them all as you hugged kids that came up to you. As Bruce came up to you, smiling as he was happy seeing his girlfriend smiling with the kids.

You joined Bruce as he held his hand for you to hold and guided you to the dance floor. All of the sudden the orchestra plays “Once Upon a Dream” and you two waltz to the music. “This is the surprise that I prepared for you” he said as you two danced on the dance floor like Prince and princess in fairy tales. All eyes were on both of you whenever you danced together. “They’re looking at you” you mentioned shyly to him. “ Oh believe me they’re all looking at you” Bruce said as the two continued to waltzed together as if you two were in your own world again.

cause like mans was such a weird fucking kid (esp if you’re talking about Gotham!Bruce) and I don’t know how much batfam really grasps that. Like. His parents were murdered in front of him and his solution was Batman?? He has issues and I need him being a chaotic little shit.

You get equal parts crack and angst with baby Bruce. He’s shit talking rich people with Jason one moment, the next having a breakdown and fully dissociated/unresponsive bc Jason mentioned his guns. If you’re looking at from a Gotham!Bruce lens, first thing he does is hunt down Jim; everyone thinks it’s so sweet, but G!Bruce is actually trying to figure out if these weird people broke into his house to hypnotize and manipulate him bc there’s no way in hell Bruce would ever have an actual family there’s no way in hell that that’s real.

But on the flip side, you get a sweet, albeit emotionally stunted kid who’s thrilled that he does get that family, that things do work out for him eventually. Even if shit’s not perfect, he has a family that’s bigger than Alfred and two gravestones. Baby Bruce finding out all the things he’s done wrong with his kids and how much they hate him sometimes, but he just smiles while he cries bc “at least I have family that can hate me”

TLDR; de-aged!Bruce is an under used concept that is both absolutely hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. Any de-aged fic is a great way to really dig into characters, but I think there’s something about de-aged Bruce that’s takes it to the next level.

He also has a thing for any piercings you have too

He's not sure what it is, but he's fascinated with how the cool metal sinks into your skin

He'll play with them too if you let him

He's careful not to hurt you

He honestly doesn't really think anything of it or notice it much

Which isn't a bad thing by any means

Bruce doesn't judge based on looks, so however you decide to present yourself is just who you are in his eyes

But he also cares a lot about your interests

He'll happily sit beside you and listen to your music, shop with you for new clothes, and come with you for your latest piercing or tattoo

You name it, he's there

If it means a lot to you, then it means a lot to him

But he does think it's pretty cool to have such a badass partner

Has helped you dye your hair a handful of times

He kind of gets a slight thrill from knowing that he's the only one that gets to see all sides to you

People may see you one way when you're out in public, but he also gets to see you when you're at home sleeping in his bed or cuddled up on his couch watching some crazy show he's never heard of

He just likes knowing that he gets all of you

He finds it pretty romantic

Really likes any leather pieces you own

You may have persuaded him to buy a couple jackets based on ones that you already had in your closet

But he especially loves the leather on you

Becomes a bit touchier when you have it on, tracing his hands along the material

He thinks it looks great on you and will definitely let his gaze linger a little longer than usual

>> One of Y/N's main assets is to know a LOT of things about every villain in town or any important person who could potentially influence Gotham. If someone gets a new phone, don't even think to offer her a contract, she's on a mission and has to put a snitch in the new device in order to continue her never ending spying. In a way she's like Gossip Girl. Minus the upper east side thing and publishing daily all Gothamites' little secrets, preferring to sell them at a veeeery good price.

But since it's you, she would gladly open the chamber of secrets:

Oswald Cobblepot

>> Oswald's phone is one of her favorites to look at. She even organized "Ozzy nights" with Victor, laughing their asses out while looking at his texts and pictures.

>> Aside from the very interesting exchanges he had with Fish, Maroni and Carmine, Oswald's texts to his mother were priceless. The wannabe king of Gotham was a true mommy's boy, asking her to clean his favorite bad boy's underwear, the black one with little knifes on it. Spoiler: his mom constantly chastised him about it. He texted her where he was at anytime, pretty useful if you ask Y/N and Victor, and asking his mom to separate the vegetables he doesn't like in his night meals.

>> Pictures with mama. Here and there. Nothing interesting until Ed came in his life. The texts between the dorks were fun. When Riddler came out and Oswald started his little crush, pictures of the two flourished in his phone. Stolen pictures too: Ed studying, Ed plotting, Ed eating, annnnnd Ed coming out of the shower. This one is THE dirty little secret Y/N uses whenever she wants something from Penguin. Ed practically naked with just a towel around his hips, drop of water still in his hair and steam all around him is worthing the little chantage, right, Oswald?

>> Y/N also found the 237 drafts Penguin wrote when he tried to confess his feelings. The straight: "Ed, I think, no, I know I love you". The poems, the confession in foreign languages, the lame riddles he tried to wrote. She knows all of them by heart and likes to randomly tell them to Oswald to infuriate him.

Edward Nygma

>> Ah dear Ed, her second favorite phone to hack. Why? Because Ed being a genius he figured out - after a few minutes or hours, depends if he slept well - her spying. When people are playing Candy Crush to kill time, Y/N hacks Ed. It's their little game. And one of the reasons she made her phone and contacts as vague as possible. Cause the guy hacks too, and pretty well at that!

>> Ed's phone is empty most of the time because of that, BUT! Y/N once used a picture of Oswald in his white underwear as a wallpaper to distract him. And oh boy, it worked well. Very well. >> Ed threatened her to inform Victor about the : I used our boss almost naked as a wallpaper. The result? Y/N's vengeance is now to change all Ed's passwords making it a pun with one of Ed's traumas like, Kringle -> Kringlocked. Isabella -> Isabellocked. Riddler -> Freezdler. See the immaturity here?

Victor Zsasz

>> Victor is the most easy phone to hack for her since his password is always: Sweetness, or her date of birth, the date he met her, the caliber of one of the weapon she used on him and managed to touch him with, or something stupid like the first letters of "pepperoni". Not like he tries to hide his little secrets from her or his insane obsession 🤷🏻‍♀️

>> Pictures? Goodness, he has tons of her, them. Normal ones, goofy ones, badass ones, -18 ones... He also has one picture of Carmine, and one old picture of his family.

>> Same for the texts, nothing to hide here. The little scum loves to write dirty things in his drafts for her to read when she decides to pay his phone a visit. He's pretty proud of him at that when he sees her poker face ruined by a raised eyebrow or a frown or a scoff, depending of what he wrote.

>> The one and only time he made a real password, was when he decided to team up with Sofia. Y/N was fuming when she finally managed to hack it and discovered all the texts between them and how she ordered him around like a dog.

Barbara Kean

>> Barbara's phone is like her: an absolute mess. Texts to Jim, Tabi, Riddler, Oswald, Lee... Name someone in Gotham and you'll be sure to find them in her psychophone. The woman doesn't even try to be discreet, doesn't encrypt anything and texts everyone in town to either insult them - especially Jim - , cry like a river - especially to Jim - or tell them she loves them - especially Jim -.

>> You got it, she's obsessed by the good cop. Has so many pictures of him it should be considerate illegal, truly.

>> Her most interesting texts are to Tabi, when the two are plotting to kill Oswald or do something in hope to take Gotham's crown.

>> Her most funny one is when she threatened her hairstylist to sue him because of one failed hair cut. She even sent the picture of her usually platinum hair being as green as Ed's suit. Gold.

Jim Gordon

>> Jim isn't the most intelligent character of the series, but he's still cunning enough to understand Y/N hacked his phone at some point.

>> Does it change anything about the level of security of his phone? No. Even with Lucius' help, she managed to hack it. Spoiler, Ed helped because he was bored and she swore to explain him how to French kiss his little librarian, making him a true French lover. Spoiler no.2 she sent him a picture of a washing machine telling him to program himself on "speed" since she was afraid he wouldn't last much with IsabellAAAAH 😏. Riddler was pretty mad at her. And at Ed since the idiot trusted her on something like this.

>> Jim's phone helped Y/N to always be one or two steps ahead from him. She knew for his marriage. She knew for his little visit to Carmine when he retired. She knew basically everything of his life.

>> Though, she didn't want to know about his smut texts and pictures he sent to Lee. Never thought he was the kind of guy to suggest his girlfriend to take her on the morgue's table. She had to send Lee a text after that, to tell her to put a little something under her butt since the table can be pretty cold (DUUUH) at the beginning then all slippery. Jim was livid. And he still is whenever Y/N makes an innuendo about it.

Bruce Wayne

>> If you ask her about hacking a child's phone, she would only answer: "well that's why kid shouldn't be allowed to use a phone without an adult around to supervise them."

>> Drunk Bruce, frivolous Bruce, Emo Bruce, she saw and read every picture and text. Enamored Bruce too by the way, which she find highly cute. Just a normal teenager's phone so far.

>> Bruce's phone was pretty boring in term of plotting or threatening material, at first. But after his encounter with Selina, his investigations about his parents death and after that his little training with Alfred, Bruce's phone was definitely on her "keep it somewhere and don't even think to throw it" list. She knew something interesting was happening with him.

>> When Lucius helped Bruce to totally encrypt his phone, she knew the two knew about her spying. The boy's phone became as interesting to hack as Ed's phone, even more challenging since Lucius created a program generating a new password every minute. Brilliant, if you ask her.

>> When a new young anti-hero started to disturb the non-existant peace in town, Y/N wasn't that surprised and had strong suspicions about his true identity. She never told anything to anyone though. Maybe she'd be able to use it one day and see if Batman's "Never kill anyone" golden rule still stands after that. Same when she managed to finally hack the phone and saw a young lady looking very much like Selina, wearing leather in a suggestive pose. It's their little secret 🤫 Aahh youngsters...

Carmine Falcone

>> What? Trust doesn't exclude control. Y/N had to protect Carmine for a solid 6 years. Protecting him from others mobsters, from him, from other hackers... She knew what the last would found out in his phone if they ever succeeded to hack it. Logical, isn't it?

>> Relax, Carmine knows. She never told him, but he knows, somehow, maybe, probably. He always knows. And maybe Victor told him, being the only "good child" of the king of Gotham. Spoiler he did.

>> Carmine's phone is the epitome of "old". Old phone, for an old man, for an old fashion way to organize his things inside of it. His contacts are all write properly, his texts all politically correct, nothing the police can use against him.

>> He gets a notification every month when his favorite female cook send an article about a new 50's Italian recipe. After meeting Liza, he asked Victor to show him how to share the link to her. #GrandpaVibes here. He was super lame at it and simply told Victor to take his phone to share it after the third time he asked him to show him. He even wrote notes, poor man...

>> His wallpaper is religious, his ringtone for personal calls too. Except for Victor and her. She chose Misirlou (Pulp Fiction) for Victor because she thought Carmine's face was funny whenever his phone played it. And chose for her: Urge Overkill - Girl you'll be a woman soon (Pulp Fiction). Same, she finds it funny. Pros: Carmine you'll be immediately able to tell which of them is calling. Cons: Credibility - 50 but who cares? He's the king of the city. Since he was so lame with his phone, he stopped trying to change it and just shot whoever was laughing between the eyes.
