a/n: i tried to make this as realistic to their canon personalities as possible. the one that was easiest and the most fun to write was douma this time, i also one hundred percent believe that would be his canon reaction and no one can change my mind. enjoy~

KOKUSHIBO

Would he even bother to notice that you are a literal child and not a very small adult? Probably, eventually. He just assumed you were older.

Kokushibo only cares about the other upper moons being efficient and useful to Muzan. Because of your maturity and clearly being powerful enough to become an upper moon, Kokushibo tolerates you.

He does use you to shame the others.

Like whenever Akaza tries to kill Douma because he’s annoying him. Kokushibo will chastise Akaza by reminding him that you’re half his age but have twice his maturity. Which is like a backhanded compliment.

You’re like actually one hundred or something, but sure.

Otherwise, he treats you the same as the rest of the upper moons. Which is with an apathetic neutrality for the majority of the time.

DOUMA

This motherfucker is condescending to a child upper moon.

Once again, you may look like a child but you were turned into a demon like over a hundred years ago. You’re not literally a child anymore, you have more knowledge, wisdom, and lived experience than almost any other living being on the planet but the other upper moons.

But to Douma, you are a baby.

A little, itty bitty little baby. You’re just so cute with your wittle hands and your wittle feet. You’re so cute he could just eat you up, yes he could, yes he could! Who's a cute little baby? You are, yes you are!

Is he doing this to just fuck with you? Very possibly.

Douma reminds everyone that you are a child whenever they speak on something he deems inappropriate, like swearing or sex. He will even come up behind you and cover your “innocent” ears.

Buys you children’s toys.

AKAZA

Would have zero qualms fighting a child (x).

Akaza doesn’t really enjoy being in the company of the other upper moons. So, he doesn’t really care about you when you first meet.

He is surprised that you are a child. While you’re technically not the only child in the upper moons (considering Daki was barely thirteen when she was turned into a demon), but you’re the only one who looks like it.

However, that doesn’t mean you get a pass. Akaza is able to make the distinction that you aren’t really a child, so he will fight you.

Especially when Kokushibo uses you to shame him.

Akaza would want to fight you especially after that. Fighting is the only way he can express his emotions, especially as a demon.

Would be impressed with how strong you are. Okay, maybe you don’t suck. If you could give him a good fight, you would become Akaza’s favorite member of the upper moons.

GYUTARO & DAKI

I combined the two for this specific request because their reactions to a child upper moon would probably go hand-in-hand more than separate.

Gyutaro sometimes (most of the time, to be honest) wishes that Daki would have matured mentally and emotionally over time the same way that you did. Would never say it aloud, but he thinks it.

Daki kinda knows Gyutaro wishes she was like you, and so she hates you because she thinks you’re trying to steal her big brother from her.

So, Daki reminds you that you’re short and ugly.

Daki’s childish feud with you only makes her seem more childish by comparison to your mature indifference to her and her insults.

If Gyutaro gives you any attention, it makes Daki so mad she cries.

So, you don’t interact that often.

Gyutaro kinda still sees you like a child because of the way you look. Which is why he thinks Daki is being so unreasonable, you’re a kid and a fellow upper moon. He thinks you’re okay for a kid.

You were in a deep mess, your wife left you with your daughter while taking everything else with her

You've searched for many jobs, but no one wanted to hire you. To make matters worse, you've even lost your home because you didn't had enough money to pay for the rent

Despite all that however, you still tried to look for a job, but still, no one wanted to hire you. You felt like your life was over, and you felt like a failure as a father. That was until Gyutaro showed up

You've ran into Gyutaro when you and your daughter was walking around late at night, at first you thought he would kill right then and there, but seeing that you have a child, he decided to choose if you want to become a demon or stay a human. Of course you decided to stay a human, after all, you've already lost your wife, your home, everything. Except for your daughter, and you'd be damned to become a demon, only to see your daughter look at you with nothing but fear in her eyes

Gyutaro decided to take you and your daughter in, and introduced you guys to his fellow demons. Of course you two were terrified, but Gyutaro assured you guys that they won't hurt you

You and Gyutaro became good friends since the day he took you and your daughter in, and he would always make sure you two are in good hands. He is even very friendly to your daughter as well, and she would always look up to him as a second father

A few months had passed since then, and you and Gyutaro eventually became boyfriends. Although Gyutaro doesn't have the skills of being a father, he does his best to make sure your daughter is safe and happy

Imagine being the Upper Moon who discovers Gyutaro and Daki, instead of Douma

Pairing: Platonic!Mother!Reader x Gyutaro, Platonic!Mother!Reader x Daki Note: After rewatching the 2nd season, this idea stuck with me so I decided to write it out. It’s a bit self-indulgent, but I hope you enjoy this imagine/headcanon mix nonetheless <3

With each step that Gyutaro took, despair rooted itself deeper and deeper into his heart. The slight spark of hope he’d felt when he discovered his sister, whom had been so cruelly burned alive, was still breathing, had all but disappeared now. Even with life-threatening injuries of his own, he continued to carry Ume through the streets until he simply couldn’t anymore, his legs giving out beneath him. Laying on the freezing ground, his arms remained wrapped around his sister’s charred body as if to shield her from all of the world’s evil in their final moments.

So this was it, huh? They were just going to die in the middle of the Hanamachi district, out in the open for everybody to see. How long would their bodies be left there after they died? He couldn’t help but wonder as a sleepy fog began to settle over him. Perhaps the district’s residents would swiftly dispose of them the moment they were sure they were dead. After all, everyone there was cold-hearted in that way.

Close to death’s door, all he could feel was resentment towards the world and guilt of not being able to protect the only thing he treasured. Gyutaro had lived a shitty life, and now he was going to die a shitty death. Moreover, he’d doomed his sister to the same fate.

“Oh? What’s this?”

A mildly surprised voice cut through his haze and he cracked open his eyes.

Standing there in the falling snow, the moonlight giving her an almost ethereal glow, was a woman. She was dressed in only the finest of silks, her hair adorned with only the most elegant of accessories. A sharp fang poked out from between her lips and her eyes shone brightly in the night, the kanji Upper Moon Four engraved clearly in them.

She was absolutely breathtaking. Far too beautiful to be standing in front of such a dirty being like him.

Gyutaro could tell she was no human, but whether she was an angel or devil that had come to collect their souls, he only cared for one thing.

“You poor things.” She gazed down at them in pity. “How could anybody do this?”

Though he wished to speak, his lips remained shut, his body refusing to listen to him. Mustering up the remaining of his strength, he forced his mouth to move. “Please…save my…sister…”

He stared at her desperately as he pleaded, certain that such an otherworldly being like herself would be able to save his sister. He didn’t care about his own being, as long as Ume could survive.

She fell silent and looked back at him with an unreadable expression, seemingly pondering over something. And just when Gyutaro was bracing himself for fate to play another cruel prank on him, a gentle smile suddenly broke out across her face. “Very well. You’re both so young and deserve another chance.”

Kneeling on the ground and paying no heed to how dirty her garments may become, she placed a soft hand on his head. Despite he and his sister’s dire circumstances, in that moment, Gyutaro felt comforted and reassured.

“Make it through and show me your determination to live.”

With those words, everything faded to black.

- The next time Gyutaro opened his eyes, everything had changed. He and Ume were no longer humans, but creatures that prowled the night. He didn’t mind, however. The only thing that mattered was that his beloved sister was well and alive again. He definitely shed a few tears when he’d first laid eyes upon her new, demonic self. They pretty much spent those first few hours together just hugging and confirming that the other was actually alive.

- As the demon who turned them, you took it upon yourself to take the siblings under your wing and teach them everything there was to being a demon. You hadn’t been obligated to – just leaving them there to figure things out for themselves would have sufficed. As Muzan would say, if they didn’t make it, that was on them for not being strong enough. But something about the two seemed to awaken something in you, something akin to maternal instincts, if demons could even have that.

- So in the first couple of months following their transformation, you taught them how to hunt, how to fight, how to avoid detection from demon slayers, and so much more. The two were quick learners and gained plenty of power much quicker than you’d initially anticipated. Perhaps they would soon be able to join you among the ranks of the Twelve Kizuki.

- It wasn’t long before Ume, or more accurately now, Daki, began to see you as a mother figure. Despite being an Upper Moon, you were gentle with them. You never raised your voice or hand against them, and not once did you punish them for doing something wrong. You treated them with respect, sincerity, and dare I say, love. Yes, just like how Daki viewed you as her own mother, you viewed she and Gyutaro as your own children. It would only take a month before she actually began to address you as her mother.

- Gyutaro on the other hand, took a bit longer to accept your maternal feelings towards him. Don’t get him wrong, he couldn’t even begin to express just how much he appreciated you saving he and his sister. It’s just, even as a demon, he couldn’t shake off the way he negatively viewed himself. How could he, someone so ugly and miserable, ever allow himself to accept anything you gave him? His sister was far more worthy of receiving your love and kindness. As long as Daki was happy and safe, he didn’t mind if you ignored his existence altogether.

- His resistance to open up to you certainly did not go unnoticed. You had a pretty good idea as to why, especially since Gyutaro didn’t hesitate to openly deride himself. You took it upon yourself to begin complimenting him at any chance you got and every time he said something negative about himself, you’d counter by saying something positive about him. Of course, Daki would chime in along with you and list off all the things she loved about her brother. But if there was one thing you told Gyutaro that really stuck with him.

- One night, when the three of you had been sitting on a roof and taking in the magnificent view of the full moon, you’d suddenly begun talking to him about the beauty that could be found in everything, even the smallest of things. “I may not have been there to witness how much you had struggled as a human, but I know you suffered greatly. The world was not kind to you and you had every right to resent everybody and everything. Yet, you decided to care for Daki and raise her with all the love you had. You could have simply died that night, along with her, but you chose to fight. You kept going, all so she could have another chance. And I can see that right now, you’re still doing the best you can for her. That love you hold for Daki, the burning desire to protect her no matter the cost, I find that truly beautiful. Your unconditional love for her shines more brightly than any star or moon out there.” Maybe it was the sincerity in your voice, but that night, Gyutaro’s walls came crumbling down.

- Congrats! Now you have two kids whom see you as their mother! And what does that mean? Family activities, of course! You’d overheard from patrons of Yoshiwara about how fun festivals were, so you’d wanted to take Daki and Gyutaro to one. Daki was absolutely ecstatic when you brought up the idea. She had never been to one after all. However, Gyutaro highly opposed to it. Or, at least, to the part about him going. He was certain he’d ruin the mood with his appearance alone; even when he shifted to his human form, he thought he still looked as ugly. But you had anticipated his reaction, so you proposed a solution: festival masks. Nobody would be able to tell what any of you looked like and it’d make for a great chance to further immerse yourselves into the festivities. Though you were able to hide your presence well as an Upper Moon, the siblings still weren’t powerful enough to do so, so there was a high chance of running into a demon slayer at the festival. Not to worry however! You’d just kill them off if they dared to interrupt your family outing.

- So with those problems out of the way, once the sun had set, your trio set off to a festival at a nearby city. Daki and Gyutaro were absolutely captivated by lively and cheerful atmosphere, as this was their first time outside of the red light district. Though, in the beginning, Gyutaro stuck to your side like glue. But perhaps realizing after a while that nobody seemed to be paying attention to him due to his mask, he began following his sister as she darted from stall to stall. The siblings appeared to be enjoying themselves and at one point, you joined them in a mini competition at a goldfish scooping stall to see who could scoop up the most fish. In the end, thanks to everyone’s demonic reflexes, the three of you ended up scooping all the goldfish at the stall – much to the stall keeper’s utter dismay. The results was a tie between you and Gyutaro, which left Daki sulking until Gyutaro won a doll for her at a different stall. Legend has it that the next day, many residents of the red light district woke up to find a goldfish left in front of their doors.

- If there’s one thing Daki loves to do when spending time with you, it’d be giving each other makeovers. She admires how beautiful you are, as well as the elegant way you dress and would often try to mimic you. She’d frequently ask – or more like demand – that you do her hair and makeup for her, always delighted with the results whenever you did. You’d let her do the same to you, sometimes chatting away with her and other times just enjoying her company in silence. Gyutaro would usually sit at the side, watching with fondness at the display of familial affection between the two of you. Except, more often than not, he’d end up getting dragged into getting a makeover by Daki. Sometimes, when there was a particular accessory of yours that Daki seemed fond of, you would give it to her. She absolutely treasures anything she receives from you and even has a special drawer dedicated to storing your gifted accessories.

- It’s a well-known fact that demons absolutely loathe sharing their food. However, it is a fact that fails to apply to the three of you. While other demons would be tearing each other’s throats out – quite literally – over their prey, your trio would be sitting around and happily sharing a tasty human. If you ignore all the blood, you three would be the very picture of a harmonious family dinner.

- Much like what you had first predicted about the siblings when you began teaching them the ins and outs to being a demon, as time passed, they soon become powerful enough to enter into the ranks of the Upper Moons. You’d been surprised that Muzan had actually given them special permission to share the title of Upper Moon Six. But at the same time, you felt proud, like a mother seeing her children achieving great things that others could not. Gyutaro was probably the least excited out of all of you about becoming part of the Twelve Kizuki. After all, rank or not, you’d still be their mother and would love them the same, and he’d be able to protect his sister just as well. But, if it made you and Daki happy, then he’d continue to work hard to become more powerful and maybe even move up the ranks.

- Now, as much as you wanted to continue staying with Gyutaro and Daki, you had your own duties to attend to as the fourth Upper Moon. And that meant you would have to venture to different parts of Japan for long periods of time. You weren’t worried about leaving them on their own, since they had each other and were perfectly capable of fending for themselves. What you were worried about was how Daki would react. She’d probably throw a fit, right…? Right indeed! When you broke the news to the two, she immediately burst into tears and insisted that she and Gyutaro tag along with you. And thus, you spent the entirety of the night attempting to calm her down. Gyutaro was of no help, as he neither joined Daki in trying to get you to stay nor did he join you in getting her to stop crying. He simply sat there and glared, looking both betrayed and angry. The three of you were a family! How could you decide to just leave?!

- When you finally succeeded in getting Daki calm enough to listen, you explained to the both of them why leaving was so important. It wasn’t because you no longer liked them, it was because Muzan hated when his subordinates couldn’t do their jobs well and nobody wants to see an angry Muzan. That, plus if he disapproved of regular demons grouping up, how would he react to three Upper Moons together? Daki couldn’t exactly refute anything you said, so with nothing else to do, she sulked. She sulked a lot. It took about a solid week and a makeover before you could coax her into talking to you again.

- Come the time you were to depart from the red light district, Daki was bawling once more. It’d be a lie if you said it didn’t make you feel guilty for leaving, but you had a job to do. You tried your best to comfort her, reassuring that you would come back before she knew it. Gyutaro himself looked reluctant to see you go, but he refrained from saying anything that Daki would say, and instead wished you safe travels and promised that you’d return to find them with a body count that’d make you proud. Not a very typical farewell, but then again, the bond shared between all of you was anything but typical.

- That was how the three of you settled into a pattern. You’d leave for periods of time, sometimes a month, sometimes a few years, and on occasion, even a decade. But you would always come back, bearing gifts and ready to shower them with love. The siblings would happily welcome you home, eager to make up for all the lost time. And Gyutaro, whom often spent his time dormant within his sister, would remain out whenever you came back. Daki would always be excited to tell you about everything she’d done while you were gone, especially if she or her brother had managed to kill a Hashira. Later on, you would learn from Gyutaro that during your absence, to help with the loneliness she’d wear one of the accessories you had previously gifted her. The red light district always seemed to have an increase in missing people every time you returned...

- It was always hard for you to part with them again when the time came to depart once more, but you were comforted by the fact that the siblings had each other. If anything happened while you were gone, they would look out for and protect each other. Nothing could ever ruin the family the three of you had built together.

Band!AU with Kokushibo, Douma, Akaza + Gyutaro

A/N: Here's something I've been thinking about... a lot ( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩)

CW's: Douma sleazeball, suggestive content on Douma's part, mentions of sleeping with a fan on Douma's/Gyutaro's/Akaza's part not proofread

Kokushibo

Lead guitarist, backup vocalist

Has been playing the guitar since he was a toddler

Kinda took on the role of being their band's manager before they got one

Always has his hair in his signature ponytail and fans absolutely swoon over him

Fans often mimick his hairstyle when they go see him in concerts

Douma and Gyutaro once dared him to smash his guitar on stage and he gave them an earful about how much of a waste that would be and how he would rather just give it to someone with his autograph on it

Which he did, several times

Will stick up for his fellow band members, yes even Douma, when interviewers pry too much and will tell them to fuck off with poise

Doesn't know how social media works

On selfies with fans he looks like a dad, squinting with his glasses on into the camera, a confused look present on his face

Douma

Lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist

Absolutely adores the spotlight and being in the center

The most scandalous member, having been officially kicked out of the band on more than one occasion

Akaza is usually fucked to share a room with him and it doesn't help their bond at all because he will still bring fans up to their shared rooms

Has like 10 names of different exes tattooed on him, broke up with all of them within a month of dating

His name is always headlining in the papers, but it's okay because his paparazzi pictures are just to die for

Also has the best selfies with fans, he somehow, always manages to look good

Writes songs that aren't appropriate to listen to with your parents in the car

Like absolute filth

When Kokushibo doesn't feel like dealing with annoying interviewers he hands them over to Douma who roasts the shit out of them, an innocent smile on his face during the whole ordeal

Always late to practice but Kokushibo lets him as he brings a lot of attention to the band

Akaza

Drummer

Has the sweetest singing voice ever, and writes the cutest songs to exist, like tooth rottingly sweet

Looks rough with all his tattoos and piercings but is the sweetest, kindest, loveliest bub

Does get a bit shy around fans though but always listens to them and gives them his time

Slept with a fan once and that fan is now engaged to them, they have the cutest relationship and the band loves his partner to bits too

Paparazzi photo's are almost always with his partner! Did once knock a pap's lights out as they were crowding around his partner and they got scared

Speaks the least during interviews, Kokushibo does try to get him out of his shell however by handing him the mic

You'll hear him stumbling over his words and Douma's just laughing ten times louder than Akaza's speaking because he finds his embarrassment amusing

Has the cutest selfies with fans where, for example; he and the fan in question make a heart together with their hands yes his partner's okay with that

Gyutaro

Bassist

Newest to the group but gets along well with everybody, especially with Douma

Douma dotes on him a lot, calling him his little brother and ... encourages him to enjoy the company of his fans

Doesn't have a lot of 'solo' fans yet but his band mates always keep an eye out for his fans and point at them for Gyutaro when they spot them in the crowd

Gyutaro gets really excited when he spots his fans and always waves sweetly at them, mouthing thank you's over and over at them

Also doesn't talk a lot during interviews. What Kokushibo does for Akaza, Akaza does for Gyutaro

What Akaza also does a lot is when he gets passed the microphone to speak by Kokushibo, he immediately passes it over to Gyutaro, a kind smile on his face as he encourages him to speak

Douma is the worst influence on him as they once got to band practice drunk and late

Wrote a song together with Daki and they performed it together where she sang

Was really uncomfortable with selfies with fans in the beginning but is getting better at it!

Still a blushing mess on all of them however

Didn't realize he didn't have to follow everyone back on instagram at first

❄️Winter Gyutaro Headcanons❄️

I don’t believe i made a headcanon list before but since I’ve seen millions of them, i want to try. this is how my specific Gyutaro headcanons would go during winter!

-This will contain (x Reader) but not all will be

- Is vague enough to be either romantic or platonic

Gyutaro hates Winter: it’s obvious he would despise the cold season the most; its the hardest season to survive in and it brung back some uncomfortable feelings from lost human memories. Especially that day when he had found Ume… it was the coldest day in his life, it seemed

Gyutaro is less active: Its common knowledge that demons aren’t bothered by simple earthly things like weather, but Gyutaro finds comfort in warmer weather. His malnourished frame doesn’t help him either as his bones crack and ache. Often, he’ll find himself cradled within Daki or within the warm house of his prized person.

Gyutaro is miserable and depressed more: this demon has always been pessimistic but just like many humans, he gets hit with seasonal depression and it hits him hard. So hard that Daki will hunt more to compensate for his lack of enthusiasm. One time, he stayed face down on the ground in Daki’s room for hours, just being depressed because she was out.

He secretly likes the holidays: Gyutaro doesn’t particularly believe in any sort of holiday but he will use them to indulge in Daki. He will pamper his little sister with stolen fabrics and jewels from far away to make her shine with happiness.

His smell is bearable: Since he’s less active and its not horrendously hot, Gyutaro’s bodily odor doesnt come off as bad! Plus, this is the one time he will wash up at vacant hot springs. Hot water relaxing his tension, the steam concealing his figure, maybe a quick snack too if someone catches a glimpse him too.

He’s slightly weaker: after all that time, he hunted less than he should’ve so he does seem weaker after the new years… hes already thin as is but it hurts your heart to see him walk slower, move with less power. He reminds you of those old scraggly stray dogs walking in the snow covered city…

Hes vulnerable/emotional: Despite being so close to him; he never opens up about his current problems to you or Daki but during winter, his shell cracks ever so slightly! If you are perceptive enough, you may be able to nurse his traumatic scars just a little bit. It may not be much, but to him, its the world.

( This actually isnt based off of Rasshu x Gyutaro for once, i just know a bit of Gyutaro stans that are really sweet so, yeah… its based off of those peeps even tho i know they wont beable to see this cuz tumblr be damned to them grawhaha )

Enjoys theme park dates as it's one of the flashiest places to be, he likes to go on all of the fastest rides but if you're afraid of any rides, he simply won't go on it as ultimately the date is about you and him spending time together

Has a colourful and flamboyant dress sense; he would have painted fingernails like in the show, and would enjoy wearing shiny jewelry like beaded necklaces, bracelets, and the like. He gets a lot of romantic attention, but he doesn't so much as look at anyone else. He's completely devoted to you and you see this by how he's straight up dismissive towards those that hit on him, no matter how attractive they are. He's a little blunt with people, not even sugarcoating it, just telling them straight up that he isn't interested at all which can lead to some disgruntled admirers

Often puts a possessive arm around you when you're out together, he's confident that nobody could ever take you away from him but he still likes to show off that you're all his. If he ever catches anyone checking you out, he gives them a slight smirk and a total 'too bad you can never have what's mine' look

Despite not quite being a ninja like in the actual show, he is still a star athlete and knows martial arts so your Tengen is still an absolute hunk

He's entirely unafraid of confrontation so if anyone ever tries to bother you, he'll immediately push them away and say a firm "Back off." Then, if they don't scurry off at that point, well, they better be worried because he's more than happy to show off his martial arts in front of you

He rides a flashy red motorcycle and loves to have you ride on the back of it, clinging onto his muscular body as he zooms down the highway blasting music

He communicates his love to you through touch; holding your hand, kissing you, and securely wrapping an arm around your waist in public. Behind closed doors, he becomes even softer and more affectionate, holding you as you kiss and feel each other's body heat. You two were intertwined in a blanket, warm, with your head resting on his chest and his arms wrapped securely around you. This was your usual position as a couple. Generally, he would hold you.

Wow! The macho, strong, and dominant Tengen asking to be held. That's quite the thing. But, the idea of holding him and giving him comfort? How wonderful. You were just surprised he wanted this, if anything.

You smiled, "Is that what you want?"

He felt awkward again. He had a few exes, and he had never asked any of them to hold him. He felt like it'd ruin his image as this tough guy who never needs comfort, but with you, he thought he could finally be himself. He sighed and spoke the truth, "Yes please..."

"Well, ask and you shall receive~" You said, as you switched position and he rested his head on your chest. He blushed.

"Do you like that?" You asked, stroking his back nurturingly. He nodded. "Yes. Very much, my love."

You grinned. "That's great. We can stay here for as long as you want, and... My love, never be nervous to ask for this again, alright?" You requested. He blushed a deeper red. "Okay, sweetheart."

And then, for the rest of the night, Tengen melted into your arms. He only asked for this occasionally, but when he did, you figured it was because he does so much on a day to day basis and sometimes even the strongest people need some time to melt into their lover's arms.

I bet you were friends to start with. He loved you for longer than you even realize, but didn't think he was deserving of you and thus wouldn't confess for a while. It'd be a situation where, before you got together, you both liked each other but neither would say anything. However, from when you became an item onwards he would treasure you like no other

He loves moments where it's just you and him, alone, spending quality time together doing something like listening to music, playing games, or having deep conversations. I reckon in the modern world he'd be quite into music, so I bet he'd make a Spotify playlist with songs that remind him of you and nervously show you when you're alone together

He can be pretty jealous and sometimes he's insecure that you're simply too good for him. He makes sure that he communicates this, though, always giving you the opportunity to reassure him, and I think as the relationship progresses his self-image would improve and this would happen less and less

Has an emo fashion sense, mostly dressing in black, ripped jeans, and edgy t-shirts galore. His car would also be black

You're the absolute most special person in his life and he fully devotes himself to you, he would happily take a bullet for you if it came down to it and you inspire him to become a better person every day. I struggle to imagine Gyutaro not having a troubled life even in the modern world, but I think you'd be his shining light that allows him to see that not everything is bad in the world

I reckon that Gyutaro is in a punk rock band and plays bass guitar + does backup vocals. Music is his passion and he loves having you by his side as his band takes off, and no matter how many groupies throw themselves at him he's always loyal to you

Adorably, whenever you're interested in something he does his best to research it and find out more. Even if you liked music that just so wasn't his style, he would still listen to it even if he didn't like it much, purely to understand it better so that he could hold a conversation with you about yet another thing that you like Gyutaro Asks You Something Important One night, you and Gyutaro were snuggled up, and both feeling in good spirits as he recently revealed to you that his band which had been blowing up lately was going on tour in Europe. However, he had an additional thing to ask you... "Hey, babe, why don't you come with me?" Your eyes widened, surprised. "I... Come with you?" "Yeah, on the tour. You haven't been to Europe before, have you? Besides... What would I ever do without you for six weeks?" He said, booping your nose with his finger sweetly. You looked up at him and he had a big grin on his face, anticipating your excitement. You didn't expect to be asked this. You secretly wanted to come all this time, but you told yourself this tour was about him and you shouldn't just butt in. But no... He wanted you to go. You then begun nodding your head rapidly, "Yes! I would love to come!" and you gave him a big kiss. He chuckled. "Hehehe, okay, awesome. I'll have to introduce you to the rest of the band... In fact, lemme give you a rundown right now: obviously, I'm on bass guitar, then our lead guitarist & vocalist is called Douma, our drummer is named Akaza, our rhythm guitarist is Kokushibo, oh, and our manager's name is Muzan." Gyutaro listed off, enthusiastically. You hadn't heard any of the other members' names until now, but you knew his band was called the Upper Moons. He said the name was decided whilst they were drunk one night, they all looked up at the moon in unison and decided on the name then. "Oh, okay! Gosh, I can't wait to meet everyone!" You said. Gyutaro smiled. "Yeah, I can't wait for you to come, babe. My sister Daki is coming too, and I always love seeing how you two get along so well." You nuzzled your head into his chest. You were so excited for this extra time with him and to see him play live. "I love you.." you uttered. Gyutaro, happier than he had ever been in his life, responded: "I love you too, babe."

CANON GYUTARO HEADCANONS

- I don't think Gyutaro would care about who he eats, I reckon he'd be open to eating anyone, man, woman or child, I don't think he'd get on with Akaza for this reason but there wouldn't be as much hatred as with Douma. I do think Gyutaro would avoid children, not for any sentimental reason though, just because there is so little of them

- I reckon he wouldn't spend too much time outside Ume's body only coming out to hunt or get the "ugly" humans from the store house belts. probably does this only occasionally to make more room for Ume's preference, and preferring the feeling of hunting a human down, prefers the pathetic struggle

- I don't think he's conscious when he's inside Ume otherwise he probably would have jumped out at earliest when she was attacked by Nezuko so he probably doesn't have a need for hobbies

- was probably around 7-10 when his mother died and left him with Ume, growth stunted by malnutrition and abuse, he would have needed to be at an age that would know a baby/toddler needs more care and how to care for them or old enough to be able to understand responsibility

- illiterate, but has a high IQ his ability to understand things quickly is insane he just hasn't had the chance to learn anything, I was surprised he knew how to do math to work out how many hashira he had killed, I doubt he went to school, this translates into his battle IQ

- probably had a growth spurt between 13-15, when he started his job as a debt collector and could afford more food than before, but didn't bulk up in musculature, stayed lean, there wouldn't be enough protein in his diet for visible muscle growth

- eats more than Ume, since she's a lot picker than he is, he'd eat anything

- when they were human they probably fought a lot because of Gyutaros harsh nature but they'd always immediately make up (think "fight ends, one of them storms off, 10 seconds pass and the other yells "wait im sorry, come back" and the other reappears "what took you so long?")

- gyutaro openly defends his sister, ume would have a different approach if anyone spoke bad about him shed act nice to their face but the second they're alone shed destroy whoever it was (self-esteem wise), until the samurai that is probably her first physical attack or attack that could have killed someone

- relationship wise you would have to be the luckiest bugger to exist, you'd probably have to have something that reminds him of himself like a younger sibling that you shield for him to not immediately kill or torture you, but he would also have to be attracted to you straight away to consider keeping you alive

- if you did somehow manage to worm your way into his heart be prepared he'll be very unpredictable, one second he'll degrade you, the next he'll be making you play with his hair

- mustn't forget the selfish personality Muzan liked so much, a selfish lover, takes more than he gives and God forbid you ever do anything to accidentally offend him or Ume, punishment would be swift and it wouldn't be the enjoyable kind

Gyutaro isn’t familiar to somebody else being kind to him, he is a ugly abomination and all he truly has is his beloved sister, Ume. When you came along all so suddenly, he and Ume grew attached to you, somebody like them and somebody that gave them kindness, despite having nothing to their name

Gyutaro may not be able to help you, out of your nor his nasty situation, but he has protection and skills so he encourages you to stick with him and Ume. You don’t have to run away when the adults try to attack or scold you, you don’t have to behave so much like a wild animal

Gyutaro is very oblivious to your big crush on him, the way you nearly fainted with joy at him attacking your pursuer with his sickles. You feel so special as you internally admire and idolise him but to him, he didn’t know the way you gazed at him lovestruck

Gyutaro does find you ‘cute’ but he never thinks much on it. More like a compliment and a truth to him, he would never actually say it to you but he expresses his care in other ways. He picks up your hand and bring you and Ume to a safer location. You and Ume are important to him, he must protect his girls

Gyutaro is too protective to let you go out on your own. Sure, you’re not the traditional girly girl and you can defend yourself but he doesn’t want to lose a dear friend to him. When he does go out with you, he ends up taking a gift for you, something tomboyish but cute and he feels pride as you wear it

Gyutaro values and encourages your rebellious nature. He loves it that you don’t mind breaking the rules or even the laws to survive, he can rely on you and trust you further! It didn’t take long for him to trust you with caring for Ume as he goes out to finish his duties

Gyutaro isn’t aware of how giving you hugs makes you explode in blush and stutter wildly. He always assumes you’re feeling too cold or too hot and he grows concerned for your health, his obliviousness is beyond painful as it’s very strong for somebody like him

Gyutaro is very common with sharing what he had to turn into food with Ume so he also gives you the same treatment. If you didn’t find anything yourself, he will try to feed you what he has so he will never lose you. He will always pull you into the straw bundle he made to keep all three of you warm in the winter seasons

Gyutaro is not that affectionate but when it comes to the two girls he does love, he is willing to give you lots of hugs to calm you down and comfort you to the best of his ability, thankfully, he has a ton of experience with care, due to Ume

Ume knows you have the biggest crush on her brother but since she adores you as much as Gyutaro does, however, she keeps it from him

Finding out/ dealing w/ pregnancy

He’s terrified oh god he’s absolutely terrified more terrified than he’s ever been in his whole entire life

You both stare at the pregnancy test nervously. What the hell were you supposed to do with a baby

You both resolve to keep it. You’re terrified but you mutually agree this is something you both want to make work

He doesn’t want the baby to look like him. He’s dealt with his fair share of bullying so he doesn’t want that for his kid

He works extra hours but he tries his best to be there for every appointment and when he can’t ume goes

He keeps a pic of the ultrasound in his wallet. He will deny this if confronted about it.

So I've been thinking abt this for a while:

Let's say Gyu has a lover, they're together for a long time, she gets sick and he offers to turn her into a demon to save her, she refuses and says she'll just find his in her next life. However, gyu can't bear the thought of losing her so he turns her against her will. Once she becomes a demon she's very upset so she keeps trying to die (trying to cut her own head, going after demon slayers, trying to walk out during the day)

How would Gyutaro (canon and fanon) react to this?

Gyutaro turns you into a demon against your will

TW: Mentions of suicide and depression

Gyutaro is selfish. And he indulges in this selfishness when he decides to turn you into a demon against your will

He can't lose you. He just can't. You are the first person to accept him and all of his flaws, loving him through them all. And he knows he will never be able to find another person like you. And even if he could, he doesn't want to. He doesn't want another version of you, he only wants the you in this moment. The you that he has fallen deeply in love with.

He will do anything to keep you. Which is why he resorts to turning you into a demon.

When you react negatively to being turned, Gyutaro will be very upset with you. He'll say, "How could you be so ungrateful? I saved you! You would have died if it were not for me!"

The two of you will fight about it for hours, until Gyutaro gets too pissed off and decides to leave. He'll stay gone until he feels he's calmed down enough to have a proper conversation with you. Only to return, seeing you trying to decapitate yourself.

He'd run to you, slapping the sword from your hands, "What the fuck are you thinking?! You tryin' to get yourself killed?"

"Yes, I am! Because I much rather die than be a demon!"

Hearing you say this would break Gyutaro's heart. Throughout the course of your entire relationship you've never seen Gyutaro get very emotional. But this will make him burst out in tears.

He'll hold you close, and bawl his eyes out. Spewing out apologies and promises of making sure you can live happily as a demon.

He hates himself for what he has put you through, and will dedicate his life to making you happy. Giving you expensive jewelry and the prettiest humans to feast on.

All he truly wants is for the two of you to be happy together.

But, he can't have that. Not after what he's done. Being turned into a demon has caused you to spiral down into a deep depression, that even your lover cannot pull you out of.

After your numerous attempts to end your own life, Gyutaro will resort to more serious measures.

He will purposefully underfeed you so you are too weak to fight back. Too weak to try to escape the lair that he keeps you hidden away in. The only way in and out is through travelling through Daki's obi. Every time you try to enter it, you get spit back out.

There's no escape from Gyutaro. He keeps you locked away. He can't risk you hurting yourself and at this point you have become more of a hostage than a lover.

The lack of nutrition has left you a pliant husk. Having no other choice than to be the model lover for Gyutaro.

If you are good and give him the affection that he wants, then he may spare a limb for you to eat.

He hopes that one day things will go back to how they used to be.

But unfortunately the damage has already been done. And there is no going back.

I'm a huge fan of the idea that Gyutaro is illiterate, even after a hundred years.

But I think Daki can read, given that poetry and writing are courtesan skills. As much as Gyutaro makes her out to be a stupid girl, she's more educated and socially aware than he is. His intelligence comes from his strategic camoflague and combat tactics. Both siblings are cunning in their own ways. While Daki might needle at Gyutaro and Gyutaro will criticize Daki, that's just sibling behavior: they still have inherent trust and chemistry as co-conspirators.

Gyutaro had seen you for a long time through Daki's eyes and couldn't help but fall in love, you were so beautiful he would dare to think that even more than Daki although he wouldn't tell him, you were not only beautiful, you were also kind and nice you were a houseworker but despite your great beauty you had a scar on your chest which didn't let you work like the others, so you were forced to work cleaning and taking care of the other girls, he often saw how you gave food to the children who begged in the streets and you treated everyone the same no matter what, that made him feel jealous, he envied everyone you treated well, he wanted you to treat him the same, he wanted to feel your hands caressing him, that your smiles were for him.

She was happy to see how you treated her sister even though she could be rude at times, you always treated her well to the point where Daki liked you and liked that you were the one to take care of her, that did that Gyutaro will fall even more in love with you and I was relieved because it means I won't have to fight her so she won't kill you.

At first he thought of approaching you in a "normal" way so he just stalked you (something Daki didn't like, she thinks it's pathetic) he started going out quite often to see you until he found his opportunity.

One day while you were going through the red district doing your homework a guy cornered you in an alley, he wanted you to spend the night with him, you clearly didn't want it, you insist that you don't work in that and that he let you go but he man doesn't heed your requests and starts touching you under your kimono you try to move him away but it's useless after all he's much bigger than you, yelling wouldn't be an option either, you knew no one would help you, you were beginning to resign yourself to what this would be your destiny like this that you close your eyes tightly expecting the worst, however, this never comes instead you feel that the man gets rid of you, when you open your eyes you see a tall and thin figure in front of you holding two sickles and next to him the body of that man that now lies lifeless, you can't see his face well because of the darkness of the alley, you get scared for a moment thinking you're in trouble so you curl up on the ground crying while whispering:

-"it wasn't my fault...Please don't kill me... I-I didn't anything".

Your surprise was greater when you feel that he hug you despite their cold body, the hug feels so warm that it comforts you, when he see that you're calmer, he let you go, you see that the mysterious man who saved you is about to leave, so you hold his hand quickly:

- "What's your name?" -You ask while you see him with your beautiful eyes, he longed for you to look at him but the fear of his appearance made him turn his face

- "Gyutaro..." -He says with a deep and somewhat scratchy voice that makes your skin crawl

- "Can we meet again Gyutaro?" - That comment took him by surprise, why would you want to see him again?... Then he kept silent, he saved you, you just have to want to thank him... And although he disappointed him a little, but accept.

-"here, tomorrow, at this same time" - with those words he left you alone in the alley.

When you got up you remembered what had happened so you looked for the body everywhere but you no longer saw it or even a trace of the body, you didn't realize how it had been taken but honestly you didn't care either, after all you were safe And you had survived one more night.

Gyutaro was ecstatic you had talked to him... You had seen him, he had hugged you he thought as he looked at his arms still feeling the tingling of the warmth of your body, And even better you wanted to see him again, you really had to be him...
