Excuse me, what the actual fuck are you doing in my house?
Part two of: Come on, let’s go blow things up!
The archons ended up finding your domain, and chaos ensues.
Reader is gender neutral, crack
It was just another day of work for you, assembling parts, drafting designs and whatnot. Until you were greeted with multiple pairs of apprehensive footsteps, slowly making their way through your domain. Their footsteps echoed through the twisting halls and corridors.
You purposely designed your domain to be a maze, so that whoever ventured in would eventually give up and venture out. However, since you heard the intruders, they were probably getting close to the end of the maze: your lab. You could only guess how long they’ve been wandering around the winding halls.
“Your Grace?“ Somebody called.
You groaned. Being found was inevitable, but it was still troublesome. Might as well have some fun though, hm? You set down your screwdriver, and walked over to your security desk, which had multiple monitors, and a microphone. It was a little arrangement you installed yourself, a full system of hidden cameras littered about the maze.
You had half the mind to decorate your domain like a pizza place, but opted not to last minute.
“Good grief it’s the archons.” You muttered, clicking on camera 12. It displayed the three of them poking aimlessly walking the dark hallway in what you guessed was an attempt to find you.
Ei was leading the party, as Zhongli and Venti followed behind her. It was amusing to see taller man stumble every few seconds, as Venti attempted to trip him.
“Cease your insolence immediately, bard.” He growled, as the green clad figure gasped.
“You wouldn’t toss a meteor on me in Their Graces domain, now would you?” He grinned, sticking his tongue out.
You chuckled to yourself, before grabbing the microphone.
“Greetings, unwelcome guests.” you said, maintaining a level and not amused tone.
You almost cackled when you saw their reactions on the monitors. They stood completely still, mouths gaping as they tried to comprehend where your voice was coming from.
“See??? I told you we were in the right place!” Venti squealed, already energetically looking around the hallway. His energy soon died. “Your Grace, where are you?”
“This appears to be a sort of mechanism…” Ei trailed off. Somehow, she managed to find one of the cameras.
“Hmm, how odd.” Zhongli muttered, watching as Ei stuck her face right up to the camera like a young child.
“Oooo what’s that? Let me see!“ Venti screeched, attempting to reach the device held high over the electro archons head.
“No.” The other two said, in unison.
“Yo, powerpuff girls.” You said. “Kindly leave; I’m busy.”
“Powerpuff girls?” They said.
Then all of them started talking at once, apparently trying to make an excuse as of to why they were bothering you. They glared at each other, before selecting one person to speak.
To be honest, you were getting a bit bored, and decided to get back to work on your latest creation, a bazooka. The launcher itself was already done, you just needed to finish the ammunition.
“Your Grace, we… would really appreciate if you came outside of this domain once and a while, and spent time in Teyvat.” Zhongli said.
“Yeah! We could make you a waaay better place than this! It could even be in the best nation, Mondstadt~” Venti said, not so subtly smirking.
“Their Grace would not choose to live in Mondstadt, they would obviously choose Inazuma, the nation of eternity!” Ei said, agitated.
“Since Their Grace’s domain is currently in Liyue, perhaps they favor my nation above the rest?” Zhongli smiled to himself, as the argument between the other two only escalated.
“Well maybe if you didn’t have an alcohol addiction!-“ Ei yelled at the bard.
“Well maybe if Makoto was still around and your stupid vision hunt decree didn’t happen-“ Venti stopped mid sentence, as he saw the look on the woman’s face. Her eye twitched, before she reached deep within her chest.
“INAZUMA SHINES ETERNAL!” She screamed, as time seemed to stop for a moment.
“Alright alright I get it.” You interrupted, as you fused some wired together. “Ei, please do not destroy my hallway. Do you need a snickers?”
Ei shot Venti a look, clearly intending to continue the conflict later.
Zhongli was still thinking about your favoritism to his nation. Since you decided to have your lab here, it was obviously a sign that you liked Liyue better than Mondstadt and Inazuma, right?
“Yes, apologies Your Grace.” She said, ashamed of her actions, and confused about whatever a “snickers” was.
“And Venti.” you called, as he perked up. “That was uncalled for, please apologize to her.”
He visibly deflated, before turning to Ei. “Sorry for bringing that up.”
“Swag swag very cool. Anyways, unless you want to be my next test subject, please leave.”
A chorus of protests erupted from the group, before Venti shushed them.
“Your Grace, I would be absolutely honored to be your personal test subject.” He said, shamelessly squirming and blushing.
“Why did you have to make it weird.” You deadpanned.
The other two archons glared at him, annoyed that they didn’t offer themselves first.
“Annnnd done!” You said, closing the shell of the missile. “Oh shit why’s it glowing-“
The three suddenly heard a loud boom, coming from the speakers above.
“Was that Their Grace?” Zhongli asked.
“Your Grace? yoUr GRaCe???” Venti yelled, already running through the hallways. The other two followed him to a dead end.
“Look… there’s smoke coming from that wall.” Ei said, already imagining the worst case scenario. She’d seen the effects of your bombs before, and they didn’t exactly leave things behind.
They all started frantically searching the wall for a hidden button or something, before Zhongli summoned a geo pillar which effectively broke the fake wall. They coughed at the sheer amount of white smoke pouring out of the room.
They tentatively began searching for you, being unusually careful not to touch anything.
You had awoken a little bit ago, and were still a bit disoriented. Perhaps you would get lucky and they wouldn’t find you if you hid under your desk?
You watched their bodies move about from under the desk, sighing about your situation. They’d found you, and there was nothing you could do about it. However, when a pair of feet made their way over to your hideout, you grinned evilly to your self. You laid in wait until the person was just about to turn away, before roughly grabbing their ankle.
“AHHHHH!” Venti screamed, continuing to trip and fall.
He was now on the floor, and saw your eyes staring creepily at him.
“Hehe.” You giggled, before promptly passing out

PART 1 HERE
*
It was already deep into the night.
The last of the busy market kiosks has died down, the golden glow of their lanterns flickered off for the day, while the late-night loiterers had gone to rest at their station as silence and the sound of crickets settled in. The harbor has truly gone to sleep after a rough day’s work, and will rise once again at early dawn.
Yet inside the bedchambers of a certain married couple, things were still heating up.
“Z-Zhongli…! Please…!”
You held on to the silken sheets tightly with face flushed and sweating. Every now and then, a moan would escape your lips, savoring the moment where ecstasy was at its peak. It felt good—really good—as your husband Zhongli thrusted sharply into you.
“YN…” he growled beside your ear as he bent down, kissing the bare skin of your shoulders. “YN…I’m close…haa…”
He could feel all the pleasure welling up inside of him. You were holding on to him like a vice grip, as if wringing him out of his seed and coaxing him to come inside you. Zhongli felt his dick twitch at the thought of filling you up, pushing him closer to his climax.
“Aahhh…so g-good….mmnn….! Zhongli…! I’m gonna—”
“My love…I-I…!”
—!
“Mama? Papa…?”
A knock at their door, followed by a small voice stopped the both of them in their tracks.
Oh no, not again…
Looking at each other, you and Zhongli immediately scrambled to compose yourselves.
“Yuqing…ah, please stay where you are—"
“Honey, just a second! Let me…let me just find my slippers—”
Hurriedly, you grabbed your discarded robe on the floor and put on your sandals, while your husband raced to the adjacent bathroom to relieve himself. “Love, I’ll be there in a moment. Please take Yuqing back to her room in the meantime,” was what he said.
As you opened the door, you were greeted by curious amber eyes—the same as her father’s—who seemingly stared at you as if trying to assess the situation. She was carrying her favorite plushie, a geovishap hatchling, for some reason, while you knelt down and caressed her cheeks gently.
“Yuqing? What’s wrong?” you asked her, “It’s way past your bedtime.”
“Something jumped from the window, Mama…! I…I don’t want to go back!” She replied, almost in a whisper as she held on to the plushie tightly.
Your daughter’s words immediately caught your attention. It could just be a squirrel, or maybe something more dangerous. Nevertheless, you have to go check it out.
“Alright, honey. Let’s see what it is,” you replied as you carried her on your arms. “Mama and Papa can easily hunt monsters down!”
Yuqing blinked at you. “Hm? But where’s Papa?”
“Oh, uh…he just needs to pee,” you replied awkwardly, not totally forgetting what you two were doing a while ago.
By the time you arrived at Yuqing’s bedroom, you were greeted by a calico cat which was carrying her own young into the room, staring at you both with scrutinizing eyes. It seemed to have taken a liking to the room and decided to take shelter there. You instantly knew what was the matter.
“It’s a mama cat!” Yuqing exclaimed happily, jumping from your grasps as you muttered “be careful!” at the ecstatic child.
“Don’t come too close to it, honey,” you told her, sitting on the bed as you watched your daughter crouch near the animal to observe it. “The mama cat doesn’t like it if you touch her kittens. She might scratch you.”
“Oh…” your daughter murmured disappointingly, and then returned to your side when she had enough watching.
Looking down to her, you could really see how much Yuqing resembled Zhongli—the same eyes, the same dignified yet gentle countenance. Her hair was a little lighter but it’ll probably turn as dark as Zhongli’s when she’s older. You smiled at the thought of watching your daughter grow—a few years ago, she was still so small and fragile as you held her for the first time, but now, she’ll be turning six, and then eleven, and then little will you know, she has become such a fine lady.
Pulling her into an embrace, you caught the child off guard as you smothered her with kisses.
“Mama!” She protested, but was giggling at the same time. “Mama…what are you doing!”
“I just love my dearest Yuqing!” you exclaimed, but then stopped to pat her head gently. “Now, are you still scared?”
The dark-haired girl shook her head with a smile. “I’m ok now, Mama! It was just a cat.”
“Alright,” you smiled as you began tucking her in again. “We’ll talk in the morning what we’ll do with the cat, but right now, it’s time for you to sleep. Little girls need to sleep for them to grow big, okay?”
“Understood! Good night then, Mama!” Yuqing replied underneath her blanket, as you gently soothed her head. The whole time, you continued to do it until she had finally fallen asleep, soft snores coming from the small child which made you smile warmly.
By the time you returned to your bedroom, you could see that the bathroom lights were still on. You were waiting for Zhongli to swing by Yuqing’s room earlier but for some reason, he’s been caught up in the bathroom this whole time. It also seemed like your husband had heard you enter the room and began calling for you.
“Dear…! Perhaps you could come here for a moment?”
Curious about what was going on, you then stepped into the bathroom and only to be greeted by a much larger, more draconic Zhongli. You could only stare at the large protruding horns on his head, the scales on his arms and legs, and the tail that was swinging back and forth between his legs. Not to mention the large thing on his crotch that made you do a double take at the mere sight of it.
Zhongli closed his eyes as soon as he noticed your stunned expression. Despite how he looks, he still had a bit of his self-control intact.
“YN, I think we have a problem here,” he told you as calmly as he could.
“I might be going into heat again.”
*
It was finally D-Day.
The both of you spent the last week trying to prepared for this, because unlike the first time, you had responsibilities. For one, Yuqing had to be taken elsewhere and away from the carnage. It will not bode well if your child is there while your husband is being one horny dragon.
The people both of you know where highly dangerous though. Among the rejected list was Childe, Hu Tao, and Venti, with the last one loudly lamenting how he couldn’t have fun with Yuqing in Mondstadt. Keqing and Ningguang would be great but they’re busy with work, while the adepti wouldn’t have enough skills and patience to babysit a child for a week, even if it was the child of the former geo archon. That’s why in the end, you asked Lumine and Aether to take care of your daughter for a while—they were at least, safe enough not to put Yuqing in danger. Hopefully.
On the other hand, you had to prepare yourself for another bang of your life. The first time had caught you off guard, but this time, you were prepared to satiate your half-dragon husband to the fullest. You had also prepared yourself to conceive another child. Well, you really were planning to, but it was the night when Yuqing interrupted you two.
“Dear?” A head peered into the kitchen—or rather, a head with two horns.
Zhongli’s dragon features seemed to be staying longer and longer the nearer his heat approaches. Luckily enough, it wasn’t much of a rare sight in Liyue.
“Oh, morning, Zhongli. Should I brew you some tea?” you asked, busying yourself with breakfast for your family of three.
“It’s alright. I’ll do it,” he replied as he stepped in beside you, preparing the hot water to be boiled.
For a while, the both of you stayed like this in silence. You were concentrating on not getting the congee burned while he was trying to get the proper temperature of the water.
In the end, it was Zhongli who broke the silence.
“Will you be alright later?”
You whipped your head to his direction. “H-huh? What? Me? Oh, I’ll be fine!”
“Are you sure?” he asked, turning to you and caressing your cheeks with the tip of his sharp claws. “If only I could assure you that it will be painless.”
“Zhongli,” you called his name firmly as you flipped an egg. “You have never hurt me, and you never will. I survived the first time, right? We have Yuqing running around after all.”
Your words seemed to have magically melted his worries away, no matter how tacky you thought there were. But you didn’t know that Zhongli simply needed your assurance that it will be okay, otherwise, he’d go into a spiral of worry. Comforted by your presence, he crept his arms around you, hugging you from your side.
“Ah, my wife…my lovely wife…” he muttered happily as he nestled his head on your shoulder, savoring your scent and your warmth. “You’re really my wife…”
You giggled at his sudden show of playfulness. “That I am, sir.”
For Zhongli to be this affectionate, it seemed his heat has really gotten to him. Normally, he’ll reserve these kinds of actions for the both of you late at night, but right now, he’s incredibly clingly and wouldn’t stop following you wherever you go. For the most part, he really loves taking in your scent and running his hands around your body.
Soon enough, you hear the loud and rapid padding of feet on the floor as it dashed towards the kitchen where the two of you were. In a few moments, Zhongli was face to face with his own daughter who grinned gleefully at him.
“Mama, Papa!” Yuqing exclaimed as she clung to you like her father.
“Now young lady, what brings you here early in the morning?” Zhongli asked mischievously, still hugging you and resting his chin on your shoulder.
“Lumine and Aether! They’re coming right? They’re coming!” she almost shouted, arm tightly adhered to your leg.
“In about half an hour, darling,” you replied. “Now, are you both aware that I’m trying to cook here? I can’t move!”
Instead of letting go however, Zhongli tightened his hold of you while nuzzling deeper on your shoulder while Yuqing did the same on your leg. You grumbled. “Like father, like daughter.”
Giggling, Yuqing glanced at her father who was tightly clinging to you like she was.
“Papa, do you like Mama?”
Zhongli, for a moment, smiled at her warmly before replying. “Very much so, my dear.”
You could only hide your flustered expression at his words. But of course, it made your heart skip a beat, even after marrying him and having his child, Zhongli could still make you feel this way with just a few words.
It was a good thing that Yuqing changed the subject before your heart could explode.
“Papa! You have horns!” she exclaimed and pointed at Zhongli’s head.
“Oh? Is this your first time seeing it?” he asked as he knelt to the floor. “Do you want to touch it?”
Zhongli could definitely see his daughter’s amber eyes sparkling with curiosity as she slowly inched her way closer to him. Yuqing may look like him, but she definitely has your temperament. The way she sees the world with so much wonder and excitement reminded Zhongli of you.
“Can I, Papa? Can I?” she asked, her small fingers reaching out for them.
“Yes, you may, my dear.”
Bending down, Zhongli felt Yuqing glide her fingers at smooth surface of the horns. “Be careful though, the tips should be sharp enough to wound you.”
Filled with wonder, the child gazed at Zhongli with amazement. “Papa, are you a dragon?!”
“I can become one.”
“Does…! Does that mean I can be a dragon too?!”
Aahh…You smiled at the two of them as you finished the last of your cooking. “Alright now. Let’s have breakfast. The twins will be here soon if we don’t hurry up!”
*
“Aether! Lumine!”
The dark-haired girl immediately ran towards the twins right after you opened the door to greet them, incredibly excited for the week ahead. Aether scooped her into his arms right away as Lumine pinched her cheek for being so adorable.
“We’re extremely grateful to you two for agreeing to take care of Yuqing,” you told them bashfully. “It was hard to think of anyone reliable and willing to do it in such a short notice.”
“It’s okay, YN,” Lumine replied, “We’d love to have Yuqing around anyway! Right, Aether?”
Distracted with playing with Yuqing, Aether turned to Lumine who was looking at him pointedly. “Huh? Oh! Oh yeah! We’re gonna play a lot!”
“Let’s play house again, Aether!” Yuqing interrupted, “I’ll be the mommy, Lumine will be the aunty and you’re the daddy!”
A large, tall shadow loomed over the twins from behind you. “I prefer if you’d arrange the designations in a different way.”
“Oh, Zhongli.” You turned to your husband who was menacing enough to make the male twin tremble like a leaf, especially in his half-dragon form.
“M-Mr. Z-Zhongli!” Aether immediately felt a chill run down his spine. If anything, he felt an overprotective dad is way scarier than all the monsters he battled so far.
“Good morning Mr. Zhongli,” Lumine greeted the man calmly with a smile. “You don’t have to worry about anything! Yuqing can be the mommy, I’ll be the daddy and Aether’s the dog.”
“Good.”
You could only smile awkwardly at the whole exchange. If this continues on, Zhongli might change his mind and insist his daughter to stay.
“Alright, here’s all her clothes for the week as well as other stuff she needs,” you interrupted as you shoved a bag on Lumine’s hands. “Please don’t hesitate to call us if something happens.”
Lumine only glanced at you with a plastered smile. Bothering them isn’t something she’d really want to do.
“We will, YN,” Aether replied and then exchanged looks with his sister. “I think it’s time for us to take off now though.”
“Alright. Come on, Yuqing, let mama and papa kiss you goodbye,” you told them as you reached out for your daughter who easily climbed out of Aether’s arms.
Crouching down, you and Zhongli embraced your daughter tightly, kissing her cheeks several times until she began protesting. With Zhongli chuckling, he patted her head gently while reminding her of several things.
“Now young lady, be of your best behavior. Don’t make Lumine and Aether worry too much.
“I will, Papa! Can I have almond tofu as a reward then?”
Zhongli smiled at her amusingly. “Alright. Do we have a contract then?”
“Yes! It’s a pinky promise!” Yuqing held out her pinky and linked it with Zhongli’s, who was careful not to scratch her with his claws.
“Don’t forget to drink your vitamins and eat your vegetables, ok? And sleep on time. Be careful not to go anywhere without telling Lumine or Aether!”
Yuqing sighed, “Yes, yes, Mama. I will.”
Ruffling her head, you finally kissed her forehead while Zhongli did the same.
“Don’t forget to have fun!”
As she ran off to Lumine’s side, the both of you stood up.
“We’ll be going then. See you after a week!” Aether exclaimed as they began to take the steps down the porch.
“Bye, bye, Mama, Papa!”
With that, the three of them disappeared and went off their way.
Glancing at your husband, it had finally dawned on you that this was only the beginning.
“So, should we get started?”
He asked, and you froze.
*
“W-wait…! Zhongli!”
“What’s the matter?”
Your husband asked you, as if he wasn’t pinning you against the wall, nuzzling against your neck as he took in your scent. You could feel his warm breath against your pulse, his hands on your waist as he continued to pepper small, faint kisses on your skin.
“It’s…it’s the middle of the day…a-and…and…!”
“You never had an issue with that… are you getting shy, my love?”
You could sense the teasing tone in his voice as he nibbled on your ear, without ever the intention of removing himself from you. Flustered, you pursed your lips as you bit down a moan.
“N-No, I’m not! It’s just…!”
“It’s just what?”
Zhongli smirked at your unexpected bashfulness, urging him to tease you more to see more of that adorable expression of yours.
“I-I mean, we just sent off Yuqing…and they might return or something—”
“Oh, they won’t.” Zhongli gave your jaw a small hickey. “Or at least I’m sure they are well aware not to bother us.”
“H-Huh…?”
Without furnishing you an answer, he simply knelt down before you and wrapped his arms around your thighs to hold you down. Looking down, you could see him smirking mischievously at you, making you gulp.
“Why don’t we get you ready, my love?”
Slipping his head underneath your skirt, you instantly felt his lips on your thighs as he kissed his way up towards your core. You could feel yourself melting at the heat of the situation; the sensation of his warm tongue prodding your clothed entrance.
“Z-Zhongli…! Mnhh…!”
Even with your underwear on, you could easily feel him stimulate your sensitive clit as he circled his tongue around before sucking it. Your knees buckled immediately as you found your hands holding on to his horns, careful not to pull too much.
“You’re so drenched here, YN,” he told you, his voice vibrating against your sensitive parts.
“D-Don’t say that! O-Ohh…! Fuck!”
You couldn’t even tell him off properly as soon as he slid of your underwear and began to tease your hole with his tongue. You could feel him go in and out as his warmth filled you up. But it wasn’t enough, of course. After getting a taste of the real thing, nothing could satiate you other than him.
“Zhongli…oh god! Ah—!”
Without stopping, he continued to lap on your juices and stimulate you until you were at the edge of orgasm. You could feel your legs grow weak and the only thing keeping you from falling to the floor was his tight grip on you as he ruthlessly ate you out like a hungry man.
Peeking from underneath your skirt, Zhongli watched as he gradually pushed you closer and closer to your climax. His bright amber eyes filled with lust as he stared at your half-lidded eyes and trembling lips; crying his name out loud over and over again. He wanted to take you then and there, push his cock inside you until you were filled to the brim; his hard on was excruciatingly painful inside his pants, but he had to be patient and get you ready for him.
“Come for me, love,” he muttered, circling his tongue around your clit once more and sucking it.
It only took an instant for you to shiver and tremble in pleasure as you felt your orgasm wash over you like a tidal wave. Your skin felt like a surge of electricity passed over you as your knees buckled and your arms held on to his shoulders to stop you from falling over.
Removing himself from underneath your skirt, Zhongli then scooped your weak figure and carried you on his arms towards the sofa. He had you sitting on his lap facing him while you encircled your arms around his shoulders and waiting for your high to calm down.
For a while, the both of you stayed like this. Zhongli kept on giving you small pecks on your neck and shoulders, slowly divesting you of your clothes as he went around your body. It was slow and sensual; unlike the first time he was in heat.
“H-Hey…you too…” you purred, kissing the underside of his jaw.
He only hummed at you; his hands busy with getting your skirt off of you. “Yes?”
“Let me undress you too.”
Zhongli reigned in his urges as soon as he heard your suggestion. His face flushed as he watched you slowly remove his tie and unbutton his shirt to reveal his toned chest. Groaning at the feeling of your hands on his bare skin, he knew he only had a few moments left before all his self-control could fly off the window. But it was incredible, he could only feel himself grow even harder.
Soon enough, you were already on the floor kneeling before him. Zhongli felt himself tense up at what you were about to do, but had to strength left to stop you from doing it. Silently, he watched as you glide your hands on his things and then to the prolific bulge on his pants. You could feel him poke you earlier while you were sitting on his lap, which gave you the idea of blowing him off.
Gradually, you undid his belt and pants and finally take out his monstrosity of a cock. Zhongli gave a guttural groan as he felt your hands pump his shaft tentatively, his claws biting at the soft leather of the sofa.
It wasn’t the first time you saw his cock, and while it was impressive in normal days, the one right before you was definitely befitting of a dragon. You hesitated.
H-how did this thing fit inside of me before?!
Nevertheless, you continued on. It was massive but it was definitely hot, seeing Zhongli sitting there in front of you with a flushed face and his cock out. Timidly, you gave the tip a small peck as you slowly allowed your tongue to glide over it.
“Y-YN…that’s…!”
Empowered by his reactions, you then licked the underside of his shaft until it was glistening wet with your saliva. Eventually, precum began to ooze out of the tip and curiously, you began licking it as well, sucking it in the process.
“Ughh…! F-fuck…YN…! I’m really—”
Trying to bob your head up and down, you could only fit so much of him inside your mouth as your jaw tried to accommodate his size. But you felt your core tighten up and become wet, thinking that this cock will eventually fill you up to the brim with his cum.
Zhongli was rapidly losing it. He wanted to cum, but he wanted to cum inside of you and have you bear his child. He wanted to see your cunt filled with his seed until it oozes out of you, and then plug his cock back inside of you to fill you up once again.
No, this won’t do.
“YN…! Y-YN…! P-Please stop! Mnnh—!”
He held your chin to make you stop—the way your lips left a trail of saliva to his dick tempted him push it back inside your mouth—but he had to end it there, right before he came inside your mouth. Slowly he guided you towards him; confused as to why he stopped you right before he was about to come, you moved back to his lap where he gently caressed you and wiped his fluids from your cheeks.
“Let me kiss you, my love.”
In a soft and gentle kiss, Zhongli captured your lips. You could feel it radiating with love and warmth as he slid his lips over yours, his tongue darting inside, as if trying to fill his senses of you and only you. You both kissed until your lips were swollen, until you felt him rub his shaft against you unconsciously, making you moan in the kiss.
“Z-Zhongli…” you gasped for air. “Are you…holding yourself back?”
With those amber eyes, he gazed at you seriously—all the while keeping your lips closed to his.
“Is it a sin to treasure you so much?”
His words caught you off guard, but eventually, you smiled. Zhongli never failed to express his love for you. He was gentle and kind, a good husband and an even better father. Brushing a few stray locks of hair from his sweat-riddled face, you kissed his forehead as a way to show how much you appreciated his thoughtfulness.
“Thank you for thinking about me, Zhongli,” you remarked, “But right now, I really want you to let loose and fill me up completely with you.”
With eyes blown wide, Zhongli felt himself twitch at your words—his arousal no longer hidden. Grabbing the back of your head, he then crashed his lips against yours in a searing kiss lidden with passion and lust. He bit and licked on your lips while his hand groped your full breasts, pinching at your nipples to make you gasp against his lips.
“Then so be it,” he smirked. “I’ll make you completely mine.”
Guiding his shaft to your slick entrance, he pushed himself inside of you in one go—making you squeal at the sudden sensation of being penetrated. It took some time for you to accommodate his large cock, but eventually, your cunt was drenched so much that it hadn’t become much of an issue.
“Z-Zhongli…! Oh god—fuck! …s-so big…!”
You began riding him, moving up and down on his lap while Zhongli continued to make you feel good by playing with your breasts. You could feel his sharp claws make indentations on your skin, but not hard enough to draw blood, but it was a strange sensation which only heightened the pleasure of having his dragon cock thrusted inside of you.
“Hnnghh!! Y-YN…!” Zhongli winced at the sudden tightness, and began to distract himself from cumming by licking on your pert nipples until they were red and sensitive.
With pleasure attacking you from different parts, you could only mewl as Zhongli gradually turned you into a lewd mess as you felt him twitch inside of you. Soon enough, he’ll be cumming inside of you, and that would the first among many others for this entire week. If his first heat said anything, Zhongli wouldn’t stop mating with you until you were fertilized with his seed.
The thought did nothing but coax you to your climax. You could feel yourself tighten around him as he pounded into you mercilessly, your juices mixing together. Zhongli was also close. He was already extremely aroused, and it wouldn’t take long for him to climax.
“A-Ah—! YN….! L-love…I’m…I’m close…!”
He muttered with face flushed and breath ragged.
“Yes…! Oh god, yes…! P-Please, Zhongli…! Ah—! F-fill me…fill me up…!”
In just a few thrusts, the both of you came at the same time. He pushed deep inside of you and came; his warmth filling you up until he was spent. You were still shivering with pleasure when he pulled you in for a kiss, his tongue once again ravishing you with so much intensity that it could be argued that he made you come once again with just a kiss.
Reeling in from the afterglow, you could still feel him hot and hard inside of you, as his breathed hard against your neck. You were no different though—the way your mind was still covered with a haze of lust, or the way his cock inside of you felt so good as it hit a particularly good spot. The aphrodisiac you got from Dr. Baizhu seemed to be quite effective.
Removing yourself from his embrace, you staggered to stand up with your limp legs, but managed to crawl on fours right beside him.
Zhongli was both bewildered and disappointed to have your warm body away from him, but when you pushed your ass before him and gazed at him with sultry eyes, he felt his heart rate pick up the pace.
It was embarrassing to show your cunt dripping with your juices and his cum, but you didn’t really care much. You were too entrenched with arousal to feel embarrassment.
“Z-Zhongli…let’s…let’s do it again…?”
Grabbing your ass, he spread you out even more, and even slapped your butt lightly. Zhongli could definitely see his cum dripping out of you and promptly scooped it up with his finger and pushed it back inside of you.
“P-Please…! Zhongli…I—!”
He smirked. “Very well.”
Without warning, he slid himself back inside of you; making you bite back the remaining words. It felt incredible having him inside. It was hot, as if you were burned and electrified at the same time. Your mouth hardly had the time to close as he continued to piston in and out of you.
This time however, Zhongli began playing with your oversensitive clit, groaning loudly at how you tightened your walls around him. You squealed in delight as his cock hit a particularly good spot, making you cum sooner than expected.
“Oh…o-oh god! Z-Zhongli….! Zhongli…! A-ah…!”
Yet despite your premature climax, he continued on—thrusting inside of you and prolonging your orgasm. It was so good you could feel tears pooling the side of your eyes as he plowed your sensitive cunt.
“You came, didn’t you?” he asked, his lips once again on yours. “I’ll make you come again soon enough.”
True to his promised, Zhongli picked up his pace and fucked you as roughly as he could. You knew there will be bruises after this but the pleasure was greater than anything for you to care about. The way his cock just fills you up, hitting your g-spot over and over again relentlessly, or the way his groans just sends shivers down your spine.
“F-Fuck…! Fuck…!Z-Zhongli! I’m—! I’m gonna…!”
“Yes, love...! Haa….come for me…! I’ll fill you up with my seed…”
Once again, you came from the overstimulation—your arms failing as the pleasure was greater than anything you experienced so far.
“F-fuck…YN…a-ah—!”
With that, Zhongli suddenly bit your shoulder as he pumped more of his seed inside of you, which only overflowed from your hole. You mewled at the mixture of pain and pleasure, unable to distinguish the one from the other, but you knew it felt extremely good.
Zhongli was silent for a while as he lapped on the bitemarks he had made. He was glad that he hadn’t bit too hard, but for some reason, he also liked how you were marked as his.
“Allow me to take you to the bedroom,” he whispered to you as you nodded your head groggily. Sleep was beginning to approach you fast.
Unsheathing himself from you, you winced at the sudden feeling of emptiness. But it was immediately remedied by the feeling of his warm body near you as he carried you to your shared bedroom. Slowly, he laid you down on the soft mattress and eventually joined you there, embracing you from the back.
“Let’s rest for now,” he muttered right before your eyelids fell heavy. “We’ll need it for later.”
And he was right.
For the next few days, the two of you tainted every room inside the house (well, except for Yuqing’s bedroom).
From the kitchen where Zhongli fucked you from behind, bending you on the counter as he emptied himself inside of you—to the bathroom where cleaning up turned into another round where he slowly entered you while underwater—or on the floor, which was only because you couldn’t reach the bed because he was too horny for his own good.
It was only then, as the both of you rested from the last round which took all night and early morning, that you realized how much time had passed.
“Mama! Papa! I’m back!”
Your eyes shot open, and glanced at Zhongli who was staring at you as well.
“Oh no.”

I just found your blog and your self aware Genshin Au and I have to admit I really like it. Just to be clear that I understand it correctly; basically it’s about a player darling who died and then got reincarnated as an all powerful God who then proceeded to create the world of Genshin Impact, those people and Archons then in turn worship them as an all powerful God.
Anyways, if I’ve got that correctly, how do you think the Archons would feel about a very sweet darling who tries to do her best to take care of her followers and just the people in general? She’s very kind and patient and compassionate and all that jazz.
It's almost like an endless loop, pretty much!
Although I do have a couple variations of it - the one you talk about, as well as the one where Darling is transported to Teyvat which almost breaks the cycle entirely in terms of the lore, and the one where they become a villain - the Villain!AU. I might make a full post on the different variations of it and how the plot works out later.
Characters: Zhongli, Venti, Ei
Desc: Their Creator was so loving and nurturing, how could they keep their eyes off them?
Zhongli would wonder if it was possible to fall more in love. Your sweet and patient nature reminds him almost of Guizhong - the one who has haunted his heart for so long. And yet, here you are, almost like a reincarnation of her.
Or maybe, Guizhong was a version of you. Either way, he watches as you follow your follower's going-on's, and how you watch with pride as they achieve so many things. He almost feels like you feel like a proud parent, watching their children go out into the world.
He devotes himself to you even further, trying his best to alleviate the stress some followers bring you. Some of them - Childe - come back to the Palace with bruises and bleeding wounds, and you gasp as you immediately summon a healer to help them. Zhongli scowls as he notices this - of course you fall for it every time, the kind and gentle person you are - but he knows better. Childe is getting himself hurt like this on purpose, hoping that you'll give him more attention.
As Childe looks up and smirks, it confirms his suspicions. He'll most likely take over and distract you if he sees Childe approaching, sending you off where Childe won't be, and then greet Childe with a frown at the front gates, before dismissing him with nary a heal or relief for his wounds.
Venti would take full advantage of this. He's one of the followers who constantly checks in with you, talking casually about his day, and expressing his sincerity for his love of Mondstadt. He notices how whenever he talks about subject's he's passionate about, you always seem to brighten. And whenever he expresses the slightest displeasure with something happening, you'll step in to rectify the situation.
"Your Divineness, Mondstadt is flourishing! It's just a shame that the slimes are so common nowadays, attacking Dawn Winery so often..."
You proceed to summon one of them, letting them know sternly and firmly that doing that was hurting the economy of one of your nations, and the slimes immediately oblige. You can't help but feel bad, so you offer to buy grapes from Dawn Winery to feed them sometimes. Almost like... feeding ducks bread. Or is it wheat?
Ei would feel taken aback. She's lived a harsh life as a war goddess, and a general of the shogunate army before her sister died. As you treat her with care, cooing over her, and making sure she's comfortable in your palace, she shifts nervously.
"Is everything to your liking, Ei?"
"Your Divineness, I don't... understand. Why does it matter?"
You seem almost taken aback, explaining why it does.
"Because I love all of you! And what kind of 'god' would I be if I didn't make sure you all had the best lives you could lead."
She's flustered at your casual approach to it - who declares love out loud so easily? - but she starts to accept it in the way she accepts Yae's random drop-ins to her Plane of Euthymia. As she gets more comfortable around you, she might start bringing gifts by.
"Oh, I was reading this novel and thought you might like it."
"Have you tried this flavor of Dango before, your Divineness? It's absolutely... divine."
(you snort at that one)

The God of Gods (Pt. 2)
Pt. 1
my phone had stopped working all weekend so I kinda just died a little bit
Warnings!: Yandere content, cult stuff, obsessive behaviour, unhealthy mindsets, please proceed with caution
"Aether? Where are we headed?" You asked as the two of you walked along the plains. You assumed your destination was Mondstadt, but he seemed to be leading you in the opposite direction. It was hard to tell at first because you didn't have that familiar map to guide you, but soon enough you began to recognize the area around you.
Something about this situation was...off. The breeze in the air had become harsher, the rock beneath your feet felt like it may crumble any minute. Storms were brewing in the distance, which would eventually reach the two of you.
Aether, your very first vessel, the being made entirely for you, held your hand and led you further and further away from the city. All of a sudden, he stopped in his tracks and turned around to face you. A lovesick smile across his face, "I thought of a wonderful place to watch the sunset with you! Of course, if you don't mind, your Grace." It was rather hard to say no to him, because of his cute face, so you merely nodded and the two of you carried on together.
You both were heading closer to Starsnatch cliff, Aether stopping every so often so that you could take a break. "I don't want you to get tired," he would respond after every time you asked him why you were stopping.
It was rather peaceful, you couldn't deny that much. The fact remained though, that something...just wasn't right. At first, not that long ago when you had arrived, you recalled Aether's strange behaviour towards you, viewing you as a God. The Creator. You tried to convince him you had no idea what he was talking about, but he just thought you were in shock from being stripped of your prior home.
You recalled the other characters in the game, and how interesting and pretty some of them were, wanting to meet them already. It was almost painful how you weren't already searching for them. You could only imagine how much fun you could have when you did get to see them, telling Xiangling all about the cooking from your world, telling Albedo and Sucrose about medicine and technology, listening to Venti's tunes and Zhongli's tales. Perhaps even getting to meet the Raiden Shogun if you had the chance.
After what seemed like an eternity of travelling, the two of you had reached the peak of Starsnatch cliff. It was much more beautiful than the game could have ever depicted it, better than any drawing or photo. The sunset off in the distance painted the sky in a bittersweet amber glow, not quite saddening, but rather nostalgic in a way you couldn't understand.
"Aether, it's beautiful!" You stared wide in shock, gazing at the beautiful scenery around you, the view of Mondstadt from so high up. Aether, who was right by your side, - unsurprisingly - held your hand in his own and also enjoyed the view with you. Although his attention was mainly focused on you and not the rest of the world.
"I'm glad you like it," He smiled, tilting his head ever so slightly to the side. You chuckled and ruffled his hair, which was much softer than you were expecting. A feeling of euphoria shot through him as he basked in your praise and attention.
"Should we head to Mondstadt? You can show me around there as well!" You insisted eagerly, wanting to explore this new and unfamiliar place in person. Aether seemed a little hesitant, but agreed, especially since being your tour guide seemed like a great honor to him.
As the two of you walked on the bridge to Mondstadt, you took in as much of the scenery as you could, watching the birds fly away, the fish in the lake below, and the conversations of many people that seemed to get louder the two of you got closer.
Your shoes clicked against the stone bridge, as the gentle breeze refreshed you instantly from the long journey, which you had yet to be accustomed to. Aether watched you in silence, as you seemed rather at peace, and he didn't dare disturb that very moment.
However, it wasn't exactly his fault that your silence was disturbed. All of a sudden, a person came running out of the city walls, and stared in shock at your face. Well who could it be except for a certain tone-deaf bard. He instantly recognized you and crouched down to his knees in front of you. "Your Grace, you have arrived," He was shaking with emotions not even words could describe, as the one who he truly cared for above all else was standing right in front of you.
He wanted to run to you right away, but there was something else he had to take care of before that. When he'd heard that you had gone missing, he had to hold back a certain Geo Archon from tearing apart that alchemist. None of that mattered anymore, for you were in front of his eyes, safe and unharmed.
You merely looked down at him, confused, but ultimately not surprised considering you had seen Aether do the same thing when you had first seen him. "Ah, would you me to show you around? Of course, that's only if you so wish for that," Venti requested, still kneeling on the ground.
Aether glared at him, for he had already offered to be your guide first, but ultimately it was up to you whether or not you still wanted him to be the one. He'd stick to you regardless, and he sure wouldn't see any less of you because of it, but he did feel a bit saddened at the thought.
"Sorry Venti, I already asked Aether to be my guide around...you can still join us though!" You felt bad rejecting Venti, but you had already promised to go with Aether and you didn't want to go back on your word. Venti stood up from the ground, still smiling, and didn't seem to mind, as long as he could stay right by your side the whole time.
-And that's exactly what he did. He stuck so close to you throughout the whole tour that Aether was barely holding back from tearing the two of you apart. You took notice of this, and were thankful any time you approached a shop to momentarily stop Aether's death glares and Venti's smug grins.
Of course the last stop on your visit was the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, where you'd meet some more familiar faces, that would be eagerly awaiting your arrival even more so than you were. Not only that, but there were many others waiting for you as well, that you would be sure to encounter soon.

i fonished the xiao and diluc fic with lumine and if your request are open I was wondering if you could do the same with venti?? he doesn't realize he has been neglecting the reader until it's too late
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED!
I almost forgot what fic you were talking about, BUT I HOPE YOU LIKE IT💖💖
sidenote: Alessia is another one of my OCs. I was originally going to use Diluc, didn’t want to, then planned on Xiao, but I already used him for Diluc’s version, THEN I decided on Zhongli but didn’t feel like he fit well... so I just threw in my own OC.
Since Diluc’s reader moves on with Xiao, and in Xiao’s reader forgives him, for this one, I went with a different ending.
Xiao Version
Diluc Version
Broken Flower
Tumblr media
Venti had been busy recently. He wasn’t usually busy, so you didn’t take it seriously. He was helping a newcomer named Lumine with… something.
You were fine with it since you had gotten busy yourself. But then you started to notice the little problem as time progressed.
The days you were free… Venti made no effort to find time for you. He often joined Lumine on her adventures and never you.
Ever since you started dating Venti, he followed you everywhere. You two made an amazing team on the battlefield and you loved going on adventures with him. You had so many amazing memories… where did they all go?
You realized how much you hated this situation when you were in serious danger on the field.
The mitachurls were too powerful, the mages weren’t dying fast enough, and you were just tired. So tired.
Your breathing was labored as you looked around and saw all the enemies surrounding you. You were just too tired. Normally, this would’ve never happened because of Venti. But you were alone… because he wanted to go with Lumine. A girl who had plenty of other help.
Exhausted and broken, your weapon lowered until it slid from your hand and landed on the ground with a light thud (if you use a catalyst then it just hit the ground).
You watched as they all attacked; your world moved in slow motion. You could only hope it wouldn’t hurt as much as it looked like it would.
***
Your eyes fluttered open and you looked around in a daze. Where were you? What was going on?
It took you a few minutes before you could sit up, but you realized you were in the cathedral. But why were you here? When you looked to the side, you saw a flower, making your heart sink immediately.
Venti. He must’ve been here because he was the only one who gave you that flower. Where was he now? Was he with Lumine? You were sick and he still hadn’t left her side except to give you a pathetic little flower.
You slammed your hand on it, then rubbed it causing the flower to fall apart.
“You’re up.” You looked up to see a familiar friend walking through the doors.
“What are you doing here?” You asked as you tossed the flower aside.
“I’m the one who found you. You know you’ve been unconscious for a week now? If I hadn’t found you in time, you would’ve died.” Alessia explained as she sat on the bed.
“... wait… I’m not sick?” The blue-haired woman shook her head.
“No, you went on an adventure on your own. You were lucky I found you.” She said, slightly glaring. “I told you, ask when you need help. You can’t just go around adventuring by yourself. It’s too dangerous.”
You sighed and looked away. So what? As much as you trusted Alessia’s abilities, you wanted to be with Venti. You wanted him to go with you, just like the old days.
But he wanted to be with Lumine.
Lumine, Lumine, Lumine!
What was so great about her anyway? Was she just that pretty that you’re washed-up archon boyfriend couldn’t help but follow her? Was she just that magical?
The more you thought about it, the angrier you got. Your eyes moved to see the flower laying on the ground. Its petals had been ripped away, the stem had been broken, and it was missing a leaf.
“What’s the point? You keep chasing a man who’s chasing another woman.” Alessia commented, and unfortunately, it was true. You clearly had no place in Venti’s heart or beside him, so why did you try so hard?
“We’ve been together for four years.” You responded.
“So you’d rather waste ten years than four?” Hm. She had a good point. Any more time spent since he met Lumine was all being wasted. It wasn’t worth it. He wasn’t worth it.
There was a day when you’d travel to the ends of Teyvat for him, but those days were long gone.
You sat there with Alessia in silence for about fifteen minutes before she broke it.
“He’s coming.” No. You wouldn’t give Venti another minute. You pushed yourself to stand and gathered the broken flower. You threw it onto the bed and looked at Alessia.
“Let’s go.”
“Where?” She asked as she stood up and allowed you to lean on her.
“Somewhere. Anywhere. I’m never coming back to Mondstat.” Alessia helped you to the window and helped you jump out of it. You were determined to leave and you would never see Venti again.
***
“They’re awake?!” Venti exclaimed as he ran to your room. Barbara had just told him you’d woken up since she heard you speaking with Alessia.
Venti sprinted to you, throwing the door open. But he was met with only disappointment. Your bed was empty, the window was wide open, and the flower he’d left you was on your bed. It was crumpled and destroyed and he could feel the pain in his heart.
After he found out you’d been seriously injured on the battlefield, it was almost like reality slapped him. He realized how long it had been since he saw you or gone on an adventure with you. He realized how much he’d dedicated to Lumine and kept from you.
His dumbass really thought you would just forgive him. Why? What had he done to deserve your forgiveness?
Venti fell, his hand grabbing the edge of your bed for support as his knees hit the ground.
“No… d-don’t leave…” Venti would do anything to bring you back. No. He would do anything just to see you once more. He would become a wisp again just to see you for one more minute.
But that wasn’t possible. All that was left to do was pray. But who would the anemo archon pray to so that his one true love would come back?
No one. No one would listen to him.

| Be my valentines |
[zhongli, Venti, Childe, Xiao, Kaeya, Diluc x F!reader]
Here’s the scenario:
You’re alone on valentine’s day, probably thinking of your own problems and not paying close attention to the festivities of this new event. That is until he approaches you.
Tumblr media
You’re standing alone in Liyue harbour. Watching the people of Liyue busy themselves down below. It was easy to distinguish the couples from the singles, as they all seemed to flock together.
You don’t notice the geo archon approaching until he clears his throat.
To which you’re obliged to spin around and face your contender, to your surprise you’re met with a familiar simple smile. A smile in which the last few months you had grown accustomed to.
You countered back with your own cheerful smile, eyes squinting against the sunlight as wrinkles formed around your eyes.
Your expression was priceless to the archon. Something that he would gladly die laying his eyes upon it for a final time.
Now unbeknownst to you Zhongli had made it his mission to confess his feelings to you, afterall Zhongli new all of Liyue’s history and he new today was a day of not only couples celebrating but of confessions.
The archon pulled a magnificent bouquet of glaze lilies out from behind him. He watched as your eyes lit up in twinkles and you gladly accepted his gift.
Clearing his throat he begun. “Y/N in the last few months we have spent together I have found myself growing rather... attached persay.”
“I was wondering if you would do me the honours of—”
“Yes!” You cheered, cutting himself off mid sentence.
“You didn’t even allow me to formally ask, it’s not official until I do so.” This grandpa and contracts I tell you.
Anyways in the end he officially asked you to be his girlfriend to which you joyously accepted and you spent the rest of the day together, showering each other in love.
Troubles long forgotten.
Tumblr media
You’re actually relaxing in mond as you listen to your little bard friend play. He’s singing and dancing about making children laugh and couples smile.
He sings and tells tales of romances from long ago, how they fought to be with one another and died to stay together.
The talk of romances and relationships has you sighing, you had wanted to ask Venti to be your valentine but had cowered out at the last minute. Kaeya (your friend) had tried to convince you to continue, but unfortunately there’s no way to sway a stubborn mind.
Venti jumps over to you and plops himself down beside you. Leaning up against you which in turn cause a ferocious blush to spread across your cheeks, you spin away praying he missed it.
He didn’t of course.
Venti hums quietly to himself before finally piping up. “You know Y/N you’re so troublesome, I’d dare say more so than me!”
“No i’m not Venti!”
“You are so! You go about acting like you’re fine when there’s a question youve been dying to ask me all day, you can’t deny it I see through your lies.”
He booped you on the nose as your face snapped back to meet his turquoise gaze. HE KNEW?!
Venti whispered into your ear. “Kaeya told me, and yes. I’ll be your valentine.” He hummed sweetly before jumping up and singing once more.
You’d kill Kaeya if you ever saw him again, although he did get you your valentines so you couldn’t be too mad at him...
no you were defo mad and totally hit him as venti cheered you on
in the end you and Venti spent a wonderful day together singing and dancing and falling more madly in love than ever before, to top it off the two of you watched the stars from his statue.
Where you may or may not have shared a first kiss.
Tumblr media
Childe didn’t actually formally ask you to be his valentines but he had seen your troubled expression earlier and big brother instincts took place.
He had grabbed your hand and said “Girlie let’s have a little fun, shall we?”
And so the two of you spent the day together, running from stall to stall eating fine Liyue cuisine.
Playing festive valentine games and winning each one, you know how Childe is hes in it to win it no other way.
It was the end of the day when the two of you had found a spot not far from Liyue, but far enough to be alone.
There you two sat alone, well actually with a giant bear Childe had won for you.
This time you spoke up first. “Childe... I wanted to ask you and I know valentine’s day is basically over but... would you be my valentine?”
Childe was taken aback. “Ojou-chan...” He began. “Wasn’t that what we were doing all day?”
hold up. WHAT??
“No way! Childe that wasn’t- did you think that was a date?”
“THAT WASN’T A DATE?!”
It took awhile to explain but he finally realised that no it wasn’t a date. Ngl he was disappointed but then realised you asked him out anyways so he cheered up fast.
Please he’s just a child someone explain to him you have to formally ask these things...
Tumblr media
Okay please this man. “I have no interest in mortal festivities.”
He doesn’t. He really doesn’t. So lowkey like Childe you’re going to have to bring it up.
You go to Wangshu inn in hopes he hasn’t gone off to fight demons and as luck would have it he hasn’t!
You go up to his floor and see him staring across the endless Dihua marshas. In the golden light of the evening they’re actually something to marvel at.
You clear your throat in an attempt to get his attention.
He acknowledges your presence with a grunt and a, “What now?”
Nervously you step forwards and begin. “I made you almond tofu! A-and some chocolates... of course you don’t have to accept them but they’re for you so here!”
Xiao turns to face you. And unlike your expectations of having him meet you angrily at disturbing his peace hes actually surprised, shocked even. A mortal has never prepared him any kind of delicacy before.
Never mind that and chocolates. He isn’t oblivious to what you’re trying to do and he’s well accustomed to the ways of the Liyue people.
He knows exactly what he’s doing when he accepts them from you.
“I’m not very good with words... but if you want me to be your valentine you didn’t have to go through all the trouble. I may not care for mortal festivities but... I care for you.”
please marry me.
Tumblr media
HOHOHO Kaeya.
Kaeya knows what he’s doing better than anyone in the seven counties of Teyvat. He has it all planned out.
Meet you in the morning with chocolates and a bouquet of flowers and then bring you to his favourite restaurant for some of mond’s finest cuisine and then he’ll take you out of the city where the two of you can watch the stars while sipping on dandelion wine.
However, the moment he sees you standing at the fountain centered in mond he’s for once at a loss for words.
You were utterly breath taking, a sight that he wished to savour like a fabulous glass of a 60 year old bottle of death afternoon wine.
You turned around and spotted Kaeya, waving him over. For a moment he forgot himself and actually stood staring. Before realising he wasn’t frozen in place and ran over to you.
Kaeya grinned his usual charismatic smile and handed you chocolates and calla lilies.
“I was wondering perchance, if this fine lady would do me the honours of accompanying me on such a romantic holiday?”
With a charming grin and honey laced words who could say no? Of course you were madly in love with this man so you accepted within a heartbeat.
Believe me when I say, Kaeya knows how to treat a woman. And that’s like a queen.
Tumblr media
You went to visit him at Dawn Winery. He said he was too busy with work to come up to mond so you wanted to surprise him with a little gift; a box of chocolates prepared especially.
Like Xiao and Childe you were going to have to make the move with someone like Diluc. He didn’t care so much as for physical displays of affection and while he always took initiative love was a foreign language to him and so he didn’t know where to begin.
His butler let you in and you headed straight over to his office, knocking on his door.
“come in.” You heard the familiar low raspiness of his voice, a telltale sign he was overworking himself.
Upon entering you presented the chocolates with a proud smile. Almost immediately he got up from his seat and went over to greet you.
“I never expected to see you here Y/N but may I say you have made my day... and oh? What’s this?”
“Chocolates Diluc. I made them for you and I was uh... actually wondering something.”
He took them from your hands with a smile. He knew what you wanted to ask and yet he longed for you to speak the words.
“What is it Y/N?”
“Would you... be my valentine?”
Diluc’s smile grew, it was wider than you had ever seen it and it even seemed like a childish manour danced in his eyes.
He carefully embraced you and planted a kiss to your forehead sighing in pure bliss.
“I thought you’d never ask.”

~
At that time, all Alatus could hear was the howling of the wind, and the screams of the Yakshas as they waged war against their karmic debts.
A blaze of crimson flame splits the night sky as the Pyro Yaksha shrieks, clawing desperately at scarlet locks of hair with bloodied fingernails, trying to rid herself of demons only she can see. Her eyes flash with the light of a thousand stars as she throws her head back, pleading with the darkness in ragged gasps to leave her, to go somewhere where they could not haunt her. She’s still begging as she dies.
~
The Geo Yaksha rests his foot against the Hydro Yaksha’s abdomen, using her still body as leverage to draw his sharpened blade out from between her ribs. His eyes stare into the distance, unseeing, pupils clouded over with an inky black, fingers twitching as they hold the weapon that had killed one of his oldest friends. The Hydro Yaksha only lays quietly, death caressing her form with its bony fingers, the pool of water beneath them tinged pink from blood.
~
The Electro Yaksha falls to his knees, gaze finding Alatus’ one last time, seemingly apologizing for leaving the Anemo Yaksha alone for eternity. His slender hands float over the blade embedded in his chest, then collapses onto his side as his last breaths leave him, currents of violet electricity flickering out into nothing. He dies silhouetted against the blackness of The Chasm, as silent as the sun creeping over the horizon, even as the battle rages endlessly around them.
~
Rex Lapis gazes at Alatus with such pity, such sadness, before smiling hesitantly, gold eyes meeting the Yaksha’s.
‘Sit, Ever Vigilant Yaksha. The archon war is over. Let us share a cup of osmanthus wine.”
“Alatus, I free you from your duty as a Yaksha. In the fables of another world, the name Xiao is that of a spirit who encountered great suffering and hardship. He endured much suffering, as you have. Use this name from now on.”
“Yes, Morax.”
~
The God of Freedom seeks him out one evening, when he’s resting quietly near the edge of a cliff, feet dangling restlessly off the side, imagining the faces of the lost Yakshas floating through the clouds. Barabatos’ braids glow a gentle forest green, and he inclines his head slightly towards Xiao as he nears.
“Alatus, correct?”
“Xiao,” the adeptus corrects him.
“Xiao,” Barbatos says, “Rex Lapis told me of you.”
~
“It was you with the flute, was it not?” Xiao tells Barbatos as they watch the workers construct a massive statue in Liyue’s center, honoring the late Tianquan. Ningguang’s placid face smiles down at them as the workers dust the marble, freeing it from dust and grime.
Venti bobs his head, gaze never straying from where Rex Lapis (now Zhongli) stands with arms folded, gaze dark. With Ningguang gone, the last of the Liyue Qixing has perished.
“Yes,” Venti says. “I saved you that day.”
~
Tonight, they drink, in honor of the dead. Zhongli gingerly holds a glass of osmanthus wine, a glaze lily tucked into his hair. “To Guizhong,” he says. “Havria, Ningguang, and Tartaglia.”
Venti hiccups, face the color of an overripe tomato, the glass of dandelion wine tipping dangerously in his grip. “To the children of Mond,” he choruses. “To the Ragvindr brothers, to Jean, to Lisa, to Noelle. To Klee!”
Baal is here tonight too, and she leans forward restlessly. “To Kujou Sara,” she adds. “To Kitsune, Chiyo, and to Sasayuri.”
Tonight should be solemn, Xiao thinks, as they list the names of their dead companions. Yet, nearly five hundred years after the last of them passed, he feels nothing but contentment.
Xiao raises his own glass. “To the traveler and his sister,” he says. “And to the Yakshas”.
~
Xiao watches as Venti’s fingers dance, weaving an enticing melody through the hollow sounds of his flute. He’s sitting against a rock, the cool water of the stream lapping at his ankles, washing against the outcropping where Venti stands, a face full of bliss as he plays.
The song is one that Xiao wished to hear, one that he had first heard from the cart of a passing merchant shortly after the end of the Archon War.
The notes seem to float away into the air as he listens, chasing away the darkness in his soul, and he closes his eyes, reveling in this small moment of peace.
~
Sometimes, when Xiao sleeps, he dreams. He dreams of a woman wreathed in fire, eyes burning tears down her cheeks. He dreams of a not-truly-there man, standing with his blade buried in the chest of a woman floating limp in blood-tinged water. He dreams of purple lightning dying as a man takes his last breaths deep within The Chasm.
~
He knows, of course, that he cannot run forever. One day, he will become engulfed by his karmic debt, like the Pyro Yaksha, or go mad and disappear, like the Geo Yaksha.
That day comes sooner than he thinks.
~
Liyue is burning. The city is just as Xiao remembers, a perfect place of beauty. If he concentrates, he can still barely remember the night of the Lantern Rite, thousands of years ago. He closes his eyes and wishes to see the light of a hundred lanterns, instead of the light of fire the buildings shudder and succumb to the roaring flame.
Zhongli stands in front of him, something akin to pain in his gaze, one arm thrown to the side to keep Venti from rushing forwards. The Anemo Archon’s eyes are wide and wild, hat askew and bow grasped in shaking hands. Baal stands straight, weapon drawn, sorrow dotting her gaze.
Fontaine’s archon, the God of Justice, flits around the backdrop of burning flame, hurriedly trying to save as much of Liyue as she can. Her hands wave, spilling waves of water over the temples and buildings, undoing the damage that Xiao caused. The Dendro and Pyro Archons are busy, pulling screaming mortals from the wreckage and destruction.
Three torches and three exploding barrels, compiled with Xiao’s anemo attacks, had set all of Liyue aflame.
There is distant screaming in Xiao’s ears, sounds he knows only he can hear. Deliriously, he recalls the Pyro Yaksha howling at non-existent demons millennia ago and wonders absently if the same will afflict him.
The karmic debt has finally taken over, and it seems to favor the path the Geo Yaksha had taken. Xiao almost laughs as he realizes this, feeling trapped within his skin as he wields his polearm, pointed unwaveringly at the archons.
“I am sorry,” he rasps. There is darkness at the edge of his sight, and the screams only intensify. He can hear individual voices now, hissing and howling and wailing, crying for mercy and death and blood.
“Do not apologize,” Zhongli says. “It is not your fault.”
“What is this?” Venti gasps, the sound echoing in Xiao’s ears. “Xiao, what is happening?”
Baal answers for him. “It is the fate of a Yaksha.” Electricity begins to crackle around her shoulders, eyes darkening to violet as she calls the power of the storm.
Xiao wants to weep at how much she reminds him of the Electro Yaksha.
Maybe, he muses, he will see his fellow Yakshas again. Maybe he’ll meet Aether and Lumine too, in the place that lies after death. He may finally meet those who used to belong to Mond, the ones that Venti talks of so adoringly.
Zhongli finally draws his polearm, an earthen pillar appearing before him, casting protective gold around the archons. Xiao knows why.
He can feel the wind gusting around him, responding to calls he does not remember sending out. Leaves swirl in the gale, and trees rip their way out of the ground. The pain in his head intensifies as the number of screaming voices triple.
Xiao meets Zhongli’s gaze. Sometime, somehow, over the years, the archons had become his closest confidants. Yet, Zhongli was always his oldest companion, so now, Xiao asks Zhongli to do the impossible.
“Morax,” he croaks, using a name that hasn’t been spoken for ages. “You must.”
Zhongli’s gaze is pained, yet resolute, and that is how Xiao knows that Morax will kill him to save the world. Baal seems to sense this too, and lightning strikes the ground not too far away, anxiously awaiting her command.
It is only Venti who has not yet seemed to grasp the situation. He frowns at both archons. “What must you do, Zhongli?”
Zhongli only shakes his head, and Xiao knows it pains him to be the one who will have to kill the last Yaksha. So he answers Venti, limbs shaking as he desperately tries to contain the whirlwind threatening to tear from his chest.
“He must kill me. If he does not, I fear I will destroy Teyvat. I have lost control over my body, Venti.”
Barbatos’ eyes flash green, and Xiao is yet again reminded of the power of the archons. “No,” he says simply. “You cannot die. To live for thousands of years, to drink with us, all this time? You cannot die like this.”
Xiao loses concentration, just a tiny sliver, yet the gust of wind that tears from him shears the top off of a nearby mountain. He groans, harnessing the gale yet again, even as the action forces him to his knees.
“Morax,” he says again. “Please.”
Zhongli looks at him, and the archon’s eyes are glistening in the light of the dancing flames, as wind whips his hair into his face.
“Alatus,” he says, and his voice is full of hurt and resignation. “It has been an honor.”
Yes, Xiao wants to answer back, but he cannot force his mouth to move. He just nods, shaking his head as if he can jar the wailing into silence.
Venti starts towards Zhongli, power thrumming at the edges of his fingers, seemingly ready to resort to battle in order to prevent Xiao’s death, and that is when Baal moves. She slams into Venti, pushing him into the ground, even as wind starts to whirl around them - Venti’s magic, not Xiao’s. Her element locking curse comes a second later, binding itself around Venti, even as he hisses at her in protest.
“Xiao,” Venti cries, twisting as if he can escape the curse. His hat is lost, blown away in the wind, and his hair has come loose from its braids, flying around his face.
“Barbatos,” Xiao whispers. “I never thanked you, for saving me that day.”
Venti pauses, for a second, stunned into silence.
“Thank you,” Xiao says, over the voices in his head. “Thank you.”
Baal only looks at him solemnly, and Xiao stares back at her. They exchange no words, but Baal just nods, once, the simple gesture conveying everything he needs to know.
Xiao holds her gaze for a few more seconds, turning back to find the point of Zhongli’s spear resting above his heart.
Zhongli's face is twisted in grief, yet his blade still hits true, sliding into the hollow space between Xiao's third and fourth ribs.
Xiao chokes, the whirl of wind around him finally dying out. His legs buckle and he falls ungraciously, feeling gentle hands grasping at his clothes as he does.
Somewhere, Venti is screaming his name.
The wailing inside his skull is dissipating, and near the edges of his sight, Xiao can make out swirls of color. At first, he thinks they are the archons, and his failing body cannot see the details of their faces. Then, he recognizes a blue that does not belong to those in the present.
“Rest,” Zhongli whispers, as Xiao fades. “Rest, Alatus.”
And Xiao does, letting himself fall into the embrace of the Yaksha's, who are only becoming clearer, even as Xiao dies.

637 years later, a scholar strolls through the bookshelves of Sumeru's most famous academy, searching for a piece of information that could support her thesis.
She turns into a lane labelled Mondstadt: The City of Freedom, and begins to scan the titles, careful to replace everything exactly where she finds it.
There are two other travelers within the small space between the bookshelves, and they're talking to each other, quite loudly.
The scholar frowns. No matter how foreign these travelers are, the rule of silence in a library should be universal.
The first traveler, a tall man with golden eyes and umber hair that falls to his lower back flips another page in his book, completely ignoring his companion. A jade spear is strapped across his back, and the scholar thinks idly that the weapon looks more like a piece of art, with great wings of green jade shattering outwards from the main spike.
The tall man's companion is quite short, with yellow cat like eyes and evergreen tufts of hair, a pink pearl necklace slung loosely around his throat. His boyish grin seems quite misplaced.
It only takes the scholar a few moments to figure out why.
A few months ago, the scholar had studied ancient folklore of Liyue. Among them was a tale of several Yakshas, the last of whom had supposedly been buried beneath a statue of himself, on the highest peak in Liyue.
The man standing before her looks exactly the same as the grainy photo in the text. However, in the scroll of lore, the last Yaksha had worn a fierce scowl across his features, nothing like the one that stands before her now.
"Come, Zhongli," the should-be-dead Yaksha says, tugging on his friend's sleeve. "Baal is waiting for us."
"Baal can wait a while longer," the taller man says, turning the page of his book a while longer, which the scholar now sees is a copy of The Ruling System of Mondstadt: Grandmasters and Cavalry Captains.
"You said you wanted me to learn more about Mond, didn't you?" the taller man continues. "Besides, I am quite intrigued as to exactly who this 'Kaeya' is, the one you keep referencing."
The yaksha frowns. "Kaeya," he says. "Diluc's brother."
At his companion's blank stare, the yaksha says. "I'll remind you later," he chides. "We really must be going, Zhongli."
The scholar startles, embarrassed that she eavesdropped for so long. However, she still hears what the tall man says back.
"Fine. Let us go, Venti."

Anonymous asked: whsts ur take on streamer!xiao and idol!venti au,?👀
— i think it's rlly cute!!! i like the idea of them kinda both having "celebrity" crushes on each other n both being a lil embarrassed abt being a fan of the other
hc venti knows almost nothing abt video games but xiao is pretty n has a nice voice n is surprisingly funny sometimes, so he likes to watch his streams to relax or when he gets overwhelmed by all his responsibilities. he found xiao either through coincidence or heard zhongli talk abt him n his interest was piqued (perhaps zhongli purposefully let the info slip, bc he knew xiao likes venti)
xiao's been a fan of venti since before venti was big. he probably overheard venti singing or playing an instrument while venti was visiting zhongli at work or maybe at home (and xiao was just hiding out in his room). oooh, maybe even this encounter is what brought xiao out of a bad depressive episode (maybe related to the other yaksha) and both zhongli and xiao are so grateful to venti, even if he doesn't know what he did
i think it'd be like. maybe venti accidentally donates or comments on his official account, forgetting to switch to his personal and everyone, including xiao, loses it when they realize Barbatos Is In The Chat. or maybe xiao mentions barbatos one too many times and venti finally reaches out (xiao loses his mind, and also wouldn't be the first to reach out, bc he doesn't know if venti even knows he exists)
i feel like xiao would also secretly go to fanmeets in a mask n hat to disguise himself, n venti realizes after the 3rd or 4th time Oh My God This Is Xiao and almost dies from cuteness overload bc xiao is so shy n soft n it hits venti straight in the heart
(i can't start another au i can't start another au I CANT START ANOTHER AU FUCK—)

Hey so regarding inazuma and Baal I have some head cannons and your my favorite writer so I thought I’d just dump them all here.
Insazuma is the nation of eternity right? And Baal is basically the second archon after the original one died off somewhere presumably 500 years ago during the destruction of khaenri'ah.
The vision hunt decree was created for the Perdue of “eternity” and subsequently the people who’s visions were taken lost all their ambition. You get where I’m going here? Maybe Baal isn’t acting out of greed, but are justificing her actions to protect her people? The people of khaenri'ah had ambitions greater than anyone in that world could comprehend; they lived withought the guidance of a God, sought knowledge well beyond their limits and created destructive machines capable of “tilling” an enter battle field. Already we can see a shift in the archons perspective towards celestial- venti stated outright that he doesn’t like celestial, and Zhongli not only retired from his role as an archon but placed several meticulously planned tests to gouge his nations strength and stability in the face of a destructive god. Both nations, in a way, are becoming more similar to khaenri'ah in that they are both Godless, independent, and free from omnipotent influences.
Here’s my theory; The Goddess Baal, before inheriting the title of Archon, had witnessed the massacre and destruction of the khaenri'ah people and in order to prevent her nation from suffering the same fate she had launched the vision hunt decree to remove the people’s ambitions before it consumes them. She has witnessed the power of celestia, and in order to avoid the same fate she has made it her goal to separate Inazume from khaenri'ah in all forms and that’s why she continues on her role as archon instead of watching from the sides like venti or Zhongli.
Another thing, a small spoiler warning for those who haven’t finished the quest
I think people who are emotionless used to be the most emotional and heartfelt kind of individuals. Ayaka describes the Raiden Shogun as a cold and emotionless being, akin to a manager or something (I can’t remember her exact words) and I think that’s because Baal had been planning the decree for a long time now and had to steel her resolve knowing the impact it would have on the common folk. In her mind, what she is doing is better for the lo run and is necessary for the survival of her people.
This is just a theory, I haven’t finished the quest myself but it’s been weighing on me for quite sometime now. Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful day!
SPOILERS + be prepared for my declarations rambles.
YOU’RE SO SMART, AND YOU'VE SPURRED ON MY LOCKED AWAY THEORIES THANKS. and I thought similarly, though now that you mention it, baal behaving selfishly seems like she could be protecting her people. after all, the vision hunt decree only happened recently (I think months to a year before the traveler’s arrival in mondstadt), so something shifted dramatically between the archons and celestial for baal to do that in the first place.
me and my friends chat about theories like this all the time on discord and everything you said makes so much sense! I also thought zhongli stepping away from his role as an archon was not just his way of freeing himself, but his way of seeing how his people would fair without a god (this is legit confirmed i think); and they’ve done just fine, proving to celestia that they’re wrong in believing nations and people need a ruling governing body, like an archon. but I feel like baal is still just selfish, even if she’s doing this to protect her citizens, my gut is just telling me she could be both selfish and also be doing this to protect her people.
but about the archons; my friends and I have tied the archons to tons of real life lore and myths, and something that keeps popping up with all the archons is different types of religion and beliefs; we found out that they each represent or are similar to the seven princes of hell (and there’s something about them coming up in demonology a crap ton too, and the similarities are a bit too similar... PAIMON IS MENTIONED TOO AS A KING OF HELL IN DEMONOLOGY LORE AND THAT'S NOT VERY CUTE.... I HAVE SO MANY THEORIES FOR PAIMON YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!). but I think the archons are like 50/50 bad and good (like they’ve done bad things willingly or not before the travelers arrival aka destruction of khaenri’ah) but celestia is the main antagonist, I’m 100% positive of that.
the hydro archon is said to know not to make an enemy of celestia/the divine, so I feel if any of the gods were to back celestia, it would be the hydro archon. but, this leads me to my first question; what in the world does celestia think about the gnosis’ being taken? I’m gonna assume they may care a little less about venti and zhongli because they’ve basically retired, but the other archons? they’re still active and actively represent celestia, so I’m curious to know what celestia would do when baal’s is taken (we know that she’s the next target, because one of the tsaritsa’s goals is to take them all). will baal be punished since she’s still an active ruling archon, or not? something is telling me she will, but who knows...
and this may sound obvious, but i think the archons represent celestia’s own ideals, although over time with the change of archons and maybe shifted opinions in celestia, said archons have changed and now their actions contradict what their title is, I think the reason behind that is because they’re the original and last reigning archons over their respective nations, but the others? they represent ideals, and some of their actions or just people interfering (harbingers talking the gnosis') have contradicted what they stand for entirely.
for example,
venti (ideal is freedom): his is so ironically obvious, but his gnosis was taken from him, against his will; there's nothing free about that. and he also retired from being an archon, and because of that went into hiding, also nothing free about that either; yet he represents freedom. you see what i'm trying to say? lol.
zhongli (ideal is contracts): nothing for him because i don't know much, but i think it's funny how he represents contracts, which are usually very tedious and there's a lot of depth in them, and he just gave his gnosis up so easily and willlingly (even if he has his reasons) by creating a contract like ???? it's funny to me.
baal (ideal is eternity): I haven’t started the archon quest yet for her, but I know she says she is the most eternal of all and sees herself as everlasting, but she’s legit younger than a good few of the archons (venti and zhongli so far!). I also think the original archons ideal was eternity and that’s what they had hoped for their people, but after the fall of khaenri’ah, war, and their death, baal came into power and realized it would be a threat to celestia if the people believe in eternity (like I said, something shifted severely after the war, because a lot of the original archons died or disappeared and their ideals almost became shrewd and a thing of the past with the new ones who took their places) therefore creating the vision hunt decree to get rid of visions; with more people coming into contact with visions, or maybe even when they realized humanity would be fine without an archon ruling over them, war would break out again and this time celestia would be the target. speaking of targets, this is random, but there’s an overwhelming presence of military surrounding/in inazuma and maybe that’s not just to collect visions and because war broke out amongst the people there, but it’s for protection against celestia and the harbingers (I think the other archons know about venti and zhongli's gnosis' being taken, so they're all weary). if baal were to overthrow celestia or betray them somehow, I’m sure since she’s an active archon they would retaliate.
the dendro archon (ideal is wisdom): the dendro archon is way more obvious, as dainsleif says he’s less than wise, but that’s his ideal... he’s also the youngest, so that’s another contradicting fact; young people are often called unwise.
the hydro archon (ideal is justice): I know nothing about her, but she represents justice. I don’t have a solid explanation for her, but based off of theories and if for a moment we assume celestia is the main antagonist, she is said to be afraid of celestia but seemingly backs them by not leaving like venti and zhongli... considering what they’ve done, I’d say she can’t possibly represent the ideal of justice correctly if what had happened to khaenri’ah was far from just, especially since the archons and celestia were behind it but her ideal is justice?
murata (ideal is war): I have no idea about her at all either, there's not much... but considering vanessa was able to pass into celestia when she died and she's considered the children of murata, I think we'll get more info on celestia then too, and more about khaenri'ah, since she's the god of war. she's gonna have the DEETS I tell you!!
the tsaritsa (ideal is unknown): nothing contradicting for now! she is a bit confusing because of how little info we have, but I have reason to believe she's against celestia, hence her taking the gnosis'. for now, until confirmed, I think her ideal or rather goal is to get rid of celestia. i don't think she has a gnosis or vision tbh, maybe the archon before her did and she's assumed to have one as well or maybe it even got taken away... but, i think that's one of the reasons she's created delusions, they're said to be a lot more dangerous and powerful (i think) than visions too. there's also this thing I found out about the gnosis' being designed after chess pieces, and how although there are 7 archons, there are only 6 chess pieces (pawn, rook, bishop, knight, queen, and king)... meaning one of the archons (not venti or zhongli, because we know what their gnosis' look like) has a gnosis that isn't designed after a chess piece... or in my words, doesn't have one at all. aka the tsaritsa... I think the tsaritsa not having a gnosis fits too snugly with her actions so far. and don't get me wrong! if we assume she doesn't have a gnosis, I don't think she's retaliating because of that, i think she just wants to change or get rid of celestia entirely. like this makes perfect sense because the tsaritsa is the only active archon seemingly and openly going against celestia's ideals, whatever they may be...
and about me saying the archons are "evil" or in the wrong for what happened to khaenri'ah (even if they were forced by celestia), in the archaic petra set, ZHONGLI IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN AN EMOTIONLESS AND MERCILESS GOD WHEN HE SLAUGHTERED COUNTLESS OTHER GODS DURING THE ARCON WAR, in order to fulfill a contract of sorts. this is why I think there were ulterior motives during the war and although yes, for now, it seems the archons were forced into complying during the war, I really think they had some willingness too.
at the end of my ted talk I have come to the conclusion that we can't trust the archons until we know more or celestia like... ever AND I STAND WITH THE REGULAR DEGULAR PEOPLE!!!

Anyway thoughts about Dain and others. I'm gonna separate this into different parts since it's probably gonna get confusing. Might do a second part for certain parts of this.
So to get as accurate as possible I did search for more information about The Abyss and Khaenri'ah
OK so I'll give a little back story before diving into my thoughts: Khaenri'ah is an underground unreleased section where, in Dain's words, "the gods' gaze does not fall". It is the origin of Khemia, a type of alchemy heavily focused on the creation of life that ultimately destroyed it. Also, for the Sword Cemetery, that is a result of a war between Mondstadt and Khaenri'ah.
Khemia
Anyway thought time - so since Knaenri'ah has very little fauna and plants they have to find a way to survive and get food and whatnot - hence the creation of Khemia. Now, since there's no information on the aftermath of using Khemia on let's say a human, we're going to make assumptions.
So obviously altering with human life is bound to have it's backlashes, right? My three main bully victims are going to be Kaeya, Albedo, and Dain. Kaeya first: he was sent to Mondstadt as a last hope for his original homeland (I got too lazy to type it continuously) so I'm gonna assume that, before he was dropped off at Dawn Winery, he went through some alterations.
Kaeya
And you guys are gonna get mad but I'm gonna talk about his eye patch. Now, my assumption with the backlash is that it does something physical to the person undergoing Khemia. And yes, while Noelle does say she prepares Kaeya's eye patch, that doesn't necessarily mean that she puts it on him and has seen him without it.
Seeing as though Khemia isn't well-known by the common folk and is concerning to the gods (at least to Venti - thoughts on this later) it's best to hide any evidence of it when around people. That might be Kaeya's case with his eye patch, especially with the issue with Diluc and his father.
Albedo
Listen I hate myself for even starting this but I'm too far deep to give up so we gotta talk about his sexy ass. Now, his diamond. If that's a birthmark then holy hell that's one gorgeous mark. BUT I don't think it is. Since he's the one who practices Khemia, he probably knows how to manipulate the placement to be somewhere hidden or so small you can't see it.
Lmao that kinda contradicted my diamond topic but my thought behind that is that he got that from his teacher (I REFUSE to type that long ass name ok) before he knew the art himself. Him knowing the practice and Venti's wariness of it makes more sense now - will be explained soon.
Dain
THIS BITCH- Ok I need more content of him so I can understand him more but I hate him so muuuuuch. So since he admits that he saw Old Mondstadt before Dvalin resided in it, I immediately thought to the battle at Sword Cemetery even though it doesn't fit with the geography (be honest though nothing matches the geography since the "Wolf of the North" is in the wEST) and you can't see it even from atop the logs (before anyone says anything, yes, I did check with the tallest character I have and yes, I did blind myself at one in the morning just for that.)
Anyway we're getting off topic what I wanted to talk about is the galaxy thing right over his heart. This is going to be short since there's not a lot about him but it's very obvious that it's not natural (well duh) and it reminds me of the particles that erupt from Paimon and that appears out of Aether's hand for an idle animation (I, personally, chose Aether for the MC so I will be using him most of the the time). However, there's noy a lot on him and his attire so this is all I really have.
Venti and Khemia
So a little while ago someone found out that in front of Venti's statue in front of the cathedral it says "Gate to Celestia" backwards. And I do love the theories from many others about how the game might end right where it started, aka Mondstadt. Khaenri'ah dislikes the gods and is not under rule of the Seven and, with Kaeya as a "last hope" so to speak, I feel like (if he doesn't get too attached to everyone) Kaeya and possibly Albedo as well, is going to lead the hilichurls and possibly the Abyss to Mondstadt to open the gate to destroy Celestia.
This is probably why Venti is wary of anyone who knows Khemia or is a known member of Khaenri'ah. This is far fetched but what if he knows of a possible ending without the traveller that is Mondstadt and possibly Teyvat as a whole being destroyed? It's obvious that history and stories are told through songs and, as Venti said in the archon quest, he knows songs "from the past, present, and future."
The Abyss ft. Khaenri'ah & Dain (again)
This is probably going to be the biggest since there's a lot of parts to it. So it's been confirmed that the hilichurls, the people of Khaenri'ah, are being controlled by the Abyss. My thought process was that the Abyss was once a part of Khaenri'ah but there was so much Khemia practice on them that they became less and less human. On a similar note, Instagram user natrya_art made her own theory based off of the Abyss and the chambers just off of the opening screen itself (also one about Dain, Durin, and Alberich (Kaeya's last name) that's still on her story :D).
You guys are probably like "Astro where are you going with this" so I'll stop adding random information and get on with it. Dain specifically only mentions Lumine with "her" and "she" along with "is" and similar present tenses, meaning that she is still alive during whatever time he comes from (as he will decide fate himself if "Albedo were to make a single wrong move using Khemia" (possibly opening the gate) and that's the only time he'll interfere). It's obvious he knows Aether, as he's very easy to talk once he mentions being a traveller. Now, when have you ever heard anyone in genshin mention traveller that is not about Aether/Lumine? Exactly, barely ever if at all.
I mention this since Dain's interest isn't peaked when Aether introduces himself as an adventurer but only after he says he's a traveller looking for his sibling. I, personally, think that Dain was a travel buddy for Lumine since, branching off of Natrya's theory about the Abyss, she was probably brought to the Abyss when they were fighting on one of the paths in Celestia in the beginning.
Since Lumine is trying to redirect Aether from finding out anything about her plans, it shows that she does not want him to either catch her trying to destroy the world or get caught in the crossfire and die. In the time where Dain comes from, though, that's probably what happened and the Abyss wins in the end. So Dain, already knowing where Lumine and the Abyss went, brings Aether to every location that he can remember.
During the old timeline, let's call it that since it's obviously going to change with Aether having help from Dain and Friends™, Lumine most likely talked about Aether and what happened to them. Maybe Dain was just trying to see if he was the real Aether during the tavern scene? No one knows right now honestly (other than the voice actors and creators honestly but they can't say anything.)
It's also obvious that he knows how far Aether is on his journey, as he mentions the Contract to End All Contracts but not why it was made or what the Tsaritsa did with them all while knowing about Venti being Barbatos and the Stormterror battle. This could just be blamed on his failing memory but that's not the case, as he says that he doesn't lack time and will wait to talk about Rex Lapis. However, it's obvious he only knows one side of it, as Aether and the player know of Zhongli being a player in the Rite of Descension but Dain doesn't, as he questions his attitude towards it.
Prophecy
This is copied from Dain's profile on the genshin wiki: The confluence between the past and future. The original calamity had been overturned, yet the island in the sky set the earth to burn. Chalk pursues gold, in this time inopportune, the eclipse is swallowed by the crimson moon. The future must atone for bygone mistakes, as the bond familiar falters and breaks— of the same blood, elders and the youth... Such is the cycle of the world, in truth. Dain, what is that strand of blonde hair to you? Someone you must kill? Or the object of your penitence? - Self-proclaimed prophet
I changed the colour of the parts I want to talk about. The first line is obviously referring to Dain and his connection with going back in time to change the future he came from. "The island in the sky" is Celestia, and the line about setting earth alit could be talking about the gate opening or the gods thinking it'll be best to destroy earth to save themselves.
"Chalk pursues gold." THIS LINE. This one line is what I want to talk about a lot. Gold is not referring to the alchemist who destroyed Khaenri'ah, as it's not uppercased as all names should be. Instead, it's referring to Aether. (Note: the game is actually supposed to take place as you playing as Aether, which is why he's always in the trailers as the protagonist and is more expressive). Aether has multiple gold or gold coloured parts to him, including his hair, parts of his outfit, and it can even be argued that his eyes can be included too. Chalk is, obviously, Albedo, which connects to the quest about him where he's called the Chalk Prince when Dragonspine was introduced. Speaking of Dragonspine, Durin (the dragon that died there) actually came out of Khaenri'ah. Weird how Albedo is almost always in Dragonspine right? The pursuing part can go two ways: his ending line about how if he [Albedo] destroys Mondstadt, will Aether be there to stop him OR to make sure Aether is there to watch him destroy it. A third side is that Albedo pursues Lumine to help with her plan of Destroying Mindstadt/Teyvat.
Crimson moon is obviously about one of the trailers, where I think Lumine is seen walking on the path where her and Aether fought the god in Celestia with a red moon and sky in the background.
"Bond familiar falters and breaks - of the same blood, elders and youth" Aether and Lumine. I feel as though one of them (Aether most likely) will feel the most betrayed and he will lose all trust and love in Lumine and what's she's doing/done. Elders and youth is interesting. It can be nodding at the gods and the people of Teyvat or the gap between Lumine and how she's grown old while Aether died when he was young.
"That strand of blolde hair." English classes and teachers do not teach this enough!!! So I'll say it: blond, with no 'e' is masculine and is used to describe males. Blonde WITH an 'e' is feminine and for females. The use of blonde instead of blond eliminates Aether, Albedo, and Dain. The only blond we really encountered? Lumine. And I can already see the "well what if they didn't know the difference between e and no e" but we're talking about a game where a god dressed as a bard speaks in rhymes and riddles while Dain speaks like hes a poet. They know what they did. This might hint to him being the former travel companion of Lumine and any possible feelings he had that might get in the way of stopping him from helping everyone to stop her.
The Three Questions
When talking to Dain he asks three questions in order to see how similar your thought process is to Lumine. "Who do you think was the key to stopping the Stormterror incident" or something along the lines is the first question. Your answers are Barbatos, yourself, or the people. I will try to go off of memory with my answers, as his quest has yet to be added to the completed quests, as it's in chapter four which hasn't been released yet. I answered Barbatos for this question.
The next one is about Liyue and who will take care of it since Rex Lapis is no longer there to protect it. I said the people of the harbour, which was the third question. The last one is about Visions and who are more important in the eyes of the gods. The three answers are people with visions, without visions, or neither. I answered neither, giving me the dialogue of Aether's answers being similar to Lumine's.
Vision Question
The one about Visions struck me as odd. Visions are given by gods to people that they have acknowledged, yeah? Khaenri'ah isn't acknowledged by the gods and isn't run by any of the Seven. So that means that no one who resided in Khaenri'ah were never helped or were given visions. So why would Dain ask about them? I think it's due to Aether and most likely Lumine being able to weild the elements without a vision. There's also two certain dialogue options that are in the form of thoughts (I do not remember what quests they're from however) and the first one is like "(I'm getting back to my original strength)" I think it was in regards to getting geo too or something while the other one is "(I wish to get the powers of the gods)" or something.
When I first got them I paused for a second. Original strength and the powers of the gods... This obviously means the fact that with one touch of a statue we can switch to that element and can be "blessed" so to speak without actually being blessed. Also I've been meaning to talk about this ever since I leveled up Venti's statue but so far both Mondstadt and Liyue have an extra oculus. This is probably going to be for every region. I found that interesting, since you usually almost always interact with the statues with specific oculi, making it more powerful and giving you more stamina in the process. I think we have to use the extra one to fully harness the powers of that god in order to beat the final boss (probably Lumine.) They are also under the "Precious Items" tab in your inventory which is somewhat significant as well.
I'm gonna end this theory here for now since it got extremely long lmao. A part two might be coming though!

heck yeah!! okay- can u please write kaeya, diluc, venti, and if its not too much zhongli(if you write for him ofc) with an s/o who's super shy n sweet but knows how to make a comeback? like say someone makes fun of s/o and they make a super savage and sarcastic comment and it takes them aback! ty if u do write it 💜
Ok, ok, ok. So I had a bit of a hard time with this, like I have decent comebacks but it’s gotta be in the moment. I didn’t have a moment. So all of them (except kaeya) are borrowed from friends or online :’) I also hate these and feel like I did no one any justice T^T so I’m sorry
Tumblr media
He’s always felt really protective of you. You’re cute, shy, adorable and there’s nothing wrong with that, but whenever someone makes you uncomfortable, he HATES it [see: “When Someone Flirts with You”].
Your shyness was so cute though. He loved doing little things to tease you and watch as you turned into a blushing mess.
Now you see, the one thing he didn’t know about you was that you’re shy BUT YOU AREN’T SCARED TO PUT A BITCH IN HER PLACE.
Kaeya’s pretty. Believe it or not, he’s actually quite popular with the girls (roast me if I’m wrong). Well, there was a girl who knew you were dating him and she still insisted on hitting on him.
You were really calm with it too, standing behind her with your arms crossed and a light glare pointed towards her.
“You look like a Hilichurl on drugs. Walk away.” And she did.
Tumblr media
Venti loves your shyness. It’s cute- too cute for him to handle at times. He likes it when you blush or when you hide your face in your hands or behind your hair. He used to wonder if you were maybe non confrontational. He would completely understand it, but seeing as how shy you were, it was safe to say if someone did come bother you, you may need help.
Venti’s a tiny guy, but he’s pretty strong. He’s an archon after all. He’s got his arsenal of insults or witty comebacks but boy oh boy, he did NOT expect yours.
Venti was a bard, and he loved singing for you and others. One day, later in the evening, Venti was performing for you and you were happily enjoying the show. Until a guard approached you two, one you knew well. He’d been quite a problem recently.
“Hey! You stupid bard! Why don’t you get a real, stable job?!” You didn’t even skip a beat before saying:
“Why don’t you get a stable marriage?”
Venti’s eyes widened as he looked back and forth between you and the guard before he slowly turned around and left.

You often had a habit of hiding behind Diluc when it came to bothersome people. He just radiated intimidation.
Because of this, Diluc was always weary of people bothering you. He was really good at picking up on cues and he would know if you were upset or uncomfortable.
Because of all of this, he didn’t expect that you would have some serious comebacks and insults. Every time you respond to someone with that sass, he dies a little on the inside.
He’s so damn proud of you! He just stands there with his arms cross with a smirk on his face.
There was a girl, one who knew you well, who just wouldn’t lay off. She would often shamelessly flirt with Diluc RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Normally, you’d ignore her and Diluc shut her down every time. But this once… just this once…
“Ok, listen here you soggy piece of moldy bread, I have tolerated you for far too long. You know Diluc and I are in a relationship and if you continue to talk to him, ignoring my existence, I’m going to kick your ass so hard, whoever pulls my shoe out of your ass will be crowned King Arthur.” She never bothered you again :)
Tumblr media
He’s a really nice, sweet, intelligent man. But he doesn’t mind smacking a bitch up for you.
You’re his amazing, beautiful, shy girlfriend. He loves you so much and he just wants to keep you safe. He loves it when you get super shy and blushy, that’s his favorite look on you.
He does get a little worried when people bother you. You aren’t confrontational and when people pelt insults at you- if they dare- he’s at your side ready to handle the situation.
The first time he heard your rare insults, he almost choked on the tea he was drinking. He really didn’t expect it, but he LOVED it. Every time someone pushes your buttons, he just waits behind you excitedly.
“This can’t be the person you’re dating!”
“I am and if you keep that up, I’ll break every bone in your body in alphabetical order. Oh, the trash gets picked up tomorrow, so be ready.”
