Going to preface this by saying I love Tailor Astarion, these are just some thoughts I'm having tonight

I don't think Astarion would be able to make garments, beyond eying something he owns and replicating it. I think embroidery served a purpose and it was an outlet that took up minimal space, plus easier to store in a chest. The room the...less favored Spawn share isn't that large. It would just feel smaller as more spawn were introduced to their corner of hell.

It's also one of those cases where I'm not certain if he would genuinely enjoy the craft or not, since it less seems a skill developed with love and more like a necessary skill. It doesn't seem he cares as much for it if he's adventuring (based on his doublet having paint instead of embroidery at the epilogue party), but that also checks out for needing a break from something you did that you enjoyed while in a traumatic situation bc it reminds you of that trauma when you try to get back to it.

But he absolutely knows he is not your guy for anything complicated but would want to pull an Emperor's New Clothes situation for anyone who tried to make him do work for them

i love handsewing but man this would be 100 times easier if i actually had a machine.

#ive been at this lil sack for two hours and its not even done. if i had a machine it wouldve taken 30 mins. handsewing button holes through 6 layers of fabric is an unfortunately huge pain in the ass and tragically i have to do 18 of them

#ive done 3 so far so 6th of the way thru 😔 its ok im being so brave about this #i dont mind THAT much bc i enjoy sewing button holes tbh its just a little Meh bc it takes so long & like #i dont want to waste so much time while other project remain so unfinished #plus theres one layer of fabric which is already a bitch to sew thru one or two layers which like. i chose this fabric knowingly #i just forgot that id have to do the button holes by hand #& its for a corset too so theres boning on both sides which means there isnt all that much manoeuvreability #but ! i finished the top edge w bias tape (which i made myself without a little tool and went way better than ive done before with tool) #& it looks decently sick so ! i am positive about this thing overall its just that i shouldnt have made 7 holes on both sides at the back #i was originally only gonna do 5/side but then i was just measuring a hole/3cm & didnt think about my original reasoning for doing 5 #& by the time i recalled how much work it'd be id already actually used a seam ripper to make the holes so i cant back out now #+ something rly rly bothersome is that my iron left a pretty big stain on the fabric (im still not sure how this stuff works #but i think my boning had some rust on it and thats what made the stain rather than the iron itself #i could be wrong tho) so i think im either gonna try to wash it out obv but if that doesnt work #i might do some embroidery which im not looking forward to #but unfortunately needs must and ive already cut a few corners & have some imperfections that i need leeway on #AND i dont want EVERY single project to be noticably halfassed at my jury so #i'll be fine btw im complaining but more so im just sorting thru my thoughts bc im quite pleased w how it looks #despite the imperfections #& ive overall just had a good day #tomorrow is reserved for studying art history bc i have that exam on wednesday & wednesday i wanna use whats left of the day #to work on my drape (possible some of that will happen tomorrow too) so i can get it mostly finished #& then i still have the option of showing my teacher on thursday if i feel the need to do so #& also i just need to get that done so i dont have to worry about it too much anymore #then we'll be taking pics on sunday probably #& then i have 2 more days to finish my portfolios and sort all of that out (and fuck i keep forgetting i have to upload everything online) #& then !! jury time !! & the day after we're gonna go to a theme park & then we just have until the 2nd week of feb #to relax and do sort of whatever we want #excited !!!

m okay teeth update

#tiny talking #so i was really anxious to get them removed. i woke up at like 6 am which is far ealier than i shpuldve #and then went in and theybhooked em up to the heart montiter and then th second the iv went in i started fele high and sleepy #which was great. i conpeltely relaxed and idk why i was so nervous. just anticipation and expecting hurting either during or afterwards ig #but yeah. they finaihed and then asked if i fell asleep which i swear i didnt but now that i look back i proabbyl did #like i could hear the drill going and could frel them pulling(?) one of the tooth out and all that #but i dont rembeer them making the cuts or sewing me up #i did close my eyes when they started prepping to put in the iv (i really dont like needles) and tehy stayed closed #but yeha. whennit was done i opened my eyes and wasnt even loopy. then againbit was nutrous oxide so it makes sense #but kinda disappointing i didnt get to experice that. which im fine with. my grandma was the one that picked me upa nd dropped me off #but yeha. honestly i proabbyl coudlve driven home myself but yknow. proabbyl shouldnt #beeling lasted for like 6 or 7 hours which sucked #but i just called off work for yesterday and today because fuck that #it is sore. idk about swollen. but expecially my right side. i think thats where i got 2 taken and then just one on the other side #and since i like to beboverly cautious. all i ate yesterday was appl sauce in a squeeze waterbottle at like 6pm #i mean thay way i could most aboid trying to get anything on the stiches and all that #i do have to crush up my pills because i dont swallow pills ona good day so fuck that #but its not too bad. my vousin told me to do half andnputnit under my tongue then thebothe rhalf like 30 minutes later if i need it #so ye. fucking hurts rn and i wokenup at 7 after goign to bed at 2 #but half a pill os workingnits way through me. the other soon to follow #and imma try to rinse with salt water. idk how to do that carefully but ill ask and figure it out #this doesnt hurt as much as i expected but its like my ankle. very uncomfortable. expecailly to sleep with #and im a side sleeper so i ahve to slepe on my back for a while /again/ #but i did watch all of seaosn 4 of miraculous yesyerday so poggers #but yeah. my friend tlaked about how she was loopy after the surgery and thenbhurt so much rhag she had to go to the hospital #but thay just seems like soemthing wen wrong on her end or soemthing idk #because my grandma siad afte rhs ehad her rmeoved she went back and took acre of her 4 kids #because no one else was gonna so she had to #anywyas mmm salt water #idk what this post was for but i guess just to recap yesterday if anyone cared

Fumo plush pattern I made for customs making

This is a pattern I made from scratch and that I use for making my customs. It is based on the v1.5 models. Its the definitive version since I made tests before, as I said its from scratch, I could never sacrifice a legit fumo and bootlegs arent reliable for patterns snatching imo since their quality varies.

This is mainly for hand sewing and fairly beginner friendly. I havent tried on a machine because I dont trust these for such small details so I cant garantee you it will looks good if you assemble it with a cheap machine.

Seam allowances and other guides to match the pieces are included there.

I didnt include more hair pieces like the bangs because it would be too specific and this is a general pattern, not one for making [specific character]. I do these parts from scratch as well. If anyone would like help with hair of a specific character I can help (as long as its a character I know, else it would require me to use more time studying the design).

Make the design of the face before cutting the pattern. Methods I recommand using are: machine embroidery (the best), hand embroidery and heat transfert vinyle (require some skills). Ive made a hand embroidery tutorial a while ago. You can also maybe use the face of an existing fumo but its either very costly if you use a legit, or might not get good results if you use a cheap bootleg.

This PNG should be 1:1 scaled but ive added a square on the corner for good mesures. I dont use foot mesures (and i dont know how to use it) so its only cm sorry.

“hey hoon?” she called to him.

“hm?”

“let’s do this dance,” she sheepishly said. the girl shoved her phone to his face with a shy grin.

“this dance?”

hoon moved the phone away with an eyebrow raise. “didnt sunoo do this dance?” he snorted.

y/n rolled her eyes with a soft smile forming afterward. “yes… but i want to see you do it too!”

“so you want me to do the dance, or you want to dance to it together?”

his lips curled into a sweet smile as he watched his girlfriend get flustered.

“either one…”

“let’s do the dance together, gorgeous.”

y/n snickered in laughs as a response while smacking the boy multiple times.

“whatever loser, let’s just learn it together.”

sunghoon’s loud laugh boomed throughout the apartment as he enjoyed watching her get slowly frustrated.

“park sunghoon! you always do good in your tiktoks, why aren’t you getting this?”

“clearly, you’ve never seen the behind the scenes of my tiktoks; and plus, are you really telling your idol boyfriend how to dance properly?”

he cracked a smile while watching her roll her eyes, half playfully and half out of irritation.

“you know, for someone who’s an idol, the way you still struggle on some parts is a bit disappointing.” y/n teased back with a sneer.

hoon huffed out a laugh while saying, “come on, don’t be like that, gorgeous.”

she couldn’t help but feel her lips automatically turning into a smile from the nickname. she sent a soft smack to his arm while telling him to just retry again.

and so they did.

but in all honesty, he was purposefully messing up just to be a teasing ass to his girlfriend. he enjoyed doing tiktok videos with her; watching her become serious over something so small was a euphoric feeling to his heart.

“hoon…,” she said in a threatening tone. her head slowly turned to the boy who was holding back a smile. “stop messing up!”

y/n sent a hand flying to his arm again, but he pushed it away. “hey, i’m just trying to give you video drafts so you can look back at them when you miss me!” he defended with a wide beam.

“you’re so annoying loser!” she screamed back in the same energy. her grin became just as wide as his as their giggles mixed together in the living room.

“okay, okay! one more y/n, i swear it’ll be good this time.”

the sound blasted through the room again after the last eight attempts. y/n and her smitten boy subtly admired each other through the phone camera as they danced together.

within seconds before the video ended, the handsome boy quickly moved in to plant a kiss on his girlfriend’s cheeks. the recording came to a stop as soon as her face lit up in shock.

hoon licked his lips before huffing out howls of laughter. his eyes sewed shut while he grabbed his stomach to sustain the pain welling inside. “y..your reaction,” he wheezed out whilst giving a bright smile.

y/n stood there in shock for a second. it was just a kiss on the cheek but it was still very sudden.

“hoon!!” she yelled, groaning out slightly annoyed sighs. many smacks on the arms were sent to him as he just continued to laugh it out.

“okay! okay! i’m sorry!” he responded, trying to get her back in his arms.

she pushed the boy away — “nuh uh! that’s enough for today!”

he huffed out more laughter as his fangs went out on display. “let’s rewatch that,” he suggested with an eye smile.

“no!”

“oh come on!”

“hoon, i’m serious! why do you have to be like this..” y/n said, letting an annoyed expression show her tone.

“okay finee, i’m sorry” said the boy who was still giggling. his arms flailed around her body to engulf her into a hug. “i’m sorry, like actually.”

he sent pouty lips to his girlfriend, causing a grossed out groan to be heard from her. “how are you so cute and yet so ugly and annoying at the same time??”

sunghoon chuckled out his laughs before placing a kiss on her cheek. “maybe because i’m your boyfriend?”

“yeah that’s what you think.”

his head whipped to her — “am i not your boyfriend?”

“i don’t know hoon, are you??” she challenged, a mischievous grin forming on her face.

he quickly ruffled her hair before nodding with a slightly disgusted look. “fine fine, be petty like that. i know you’re my girlfriend anyway.”

“who said i was?”

the small teasings got to the male as his hands placed itself on y/n’s chin to grab her attention, and placing a peck on the lips. her eyes slightly widened.

“did you really just kiss me because of that?”

“yeah, want me to do it again?” he teased with a smile. his head swooped in to place a longer kiss on her lips, only for her to dodge the kiss with a head turn.

“Y/N!”

“NOPE!”

she ran to their shared bedroom, jumping onto the bed for sunghoon to jump on as well. his eyes lingered on hers as he gently smiled.

“you got nowhere to go now.” he broke out, eyebrows raising in satisfaction.

“you’re right..” y/n said in defeat.

her hands instantly went to his stomach, leaving tickling touches around his body as he squirmed around.

“AH!” he yelled, back now laying on the bed as he screeched out another cry for help — “Y/N!”

the girl laughed to herself in amusement, watching him fall apart with just tickles. “this is what you get for ruining my videos!” she grinned ear to ear as her hands still went around his body.

a few more minutes passed and they were still quietly giggling with each other. y/n stopped her tickles once she figured hoon received enough.

they were cuddled up in each other’s arms as his hands played around her nails, leaving nonexistent scratches as she was comfortably settled with him.

“wanna go make dinner?”

“in a bit, i’m comfortable.”

he chuckled at her response before pulling her in closer.

they stayed in the same position for a few minutes longer, ultimately deciding on going into the kitchen to finally make dinner.

the night ended with the two finishing dinner, and then in warm hugs on the couch for a late night movie — both falling asleep to the sound of the film playing before humming in contentment.

CRITICAL ROLE CAMPAIGN 3 EP 95 SPOILERS

before i get into my think piece abt... everything that transpired at the end of this episode, i would like to say this is one of the best c3 episodes.... one of my favourite episodes of all time. idk idk.

essek? smut? astrid? poly bells hells allegations?? i was already fucking sold dawg. i cannot goddamn believe that this four hour episode was... mostly... a shopping episode. i cant wait for the new art, regardless of the batshitery that happened that kinda throws my vibes off. i digress.

oh ashton greymoore i love you so much. i have been so worried abt them but honestly they're probably the lat person im concerned for currently. the grief was so compelling to watch and taliesin is a master of roleplaying as minus charisma but genuinely charismatic in his dorky awkward gruff and fumbling way. his rizz is actually just blindsiding us with earnest acts of service and comfort for his friends and i think thats so neat. im happy that they're all going to aeor with fcg intertwined throughout their outfits. its poetic and also maddeningly sweet.

(love the little callowmoore moments sprinkled through this episode... they're so real to me)

delilah briarwood. im gonna fucking kill you. best believe that.

theres been so much discourse on twitter abt who was right or wrong or this or that, but ultimately the point is: neither of them is RIGHT. they're both stricken with trauma and grief, and motivated by the love they have for a) the ones orym has lost and b) the one laudna is fighting not to lose. laudna WAS worried abt orym before delilah twisted that into paranoia, and orym didnt wield that fuckass blade bc he DOESNT feel sick touching it.

he says its not abt revenge but... god. orym. you want revenge. call it whatever you like but you've been angry for a while.

laudna says she KNEW the sword was cursed, but she was lying or in denial abt the fact that delilah is the one who coerced her to hold the blade in her hand.

if either of them had decided to talk to each other or the group as a whole then this could have -- most likely -- been avoided. orym decided to take the blade and shoulder the burden of what it meant and what it represented so they didnt have. laudna felt betrayed and hurt but instead of trusting orym she was manipulated back into that cunt's clutches.

i dont prescribe to trauma olympics, especially when laudna and orym never actually denied each others' trauma with otohan and that blade so i think its slightly irrelevant when discussing them both.

(i will say this... otohans blade is what killed laudna but delilah is the one who had her in a cage when she was dead. otohan murdered oryms family and there was absolutely nothing that could save them. i firmly believe THAT is what chetney meant, not that laudna hasnt suffered so we can all just... unclench a little idk)

in all the discourse, lets not forget who the real villains are -- evil milfs (delilah and otohan). delilah chose this moment to sew distrust in laudna towards orym for a reason. its like the spider queen and opal. she NEEDS laudna isolated and dependent, and she cant sink her teeth in completely if laudna has someone to fall back on.

imodna... jesus imodna breaks me every time. that entire scene on the roof while laudna looks so much like her abuser -- the woman who MURDERED her -- and having that visage fade as laudna proclaims her love for imogen. peak romance and tragedy.

it was still so upsetting hearing the echoes of delilah as laudna spoke tho. knowing her hold on laudna is getting stronger and laudna has no real faith that she will be able to fight against her. hearing her ask imogen if shes still fun scary and knowing that imogen cant tell the truth. this isnt fun anymore. laudna is in danger and imogen doesnt know how to fix it.

anyway, i do think that ashton was the emotional mvp of this episode, especially while shit was escalating. putting themself between orym and laudna, PROTECTING laudna despite knowing she attacked him, TRUSTING that she was actually telling the truth and guiding her to see the forest for the trees and apologize for an irrational choice made through a mixture of trauma, delusion and paranoia.

im... excited? for the next episode? not sure why we keep having really horrible inter-party conflict the day before going on a suicide mission but the hells are my problem babies and i have to accept that they're just little fucked up guys.

CAINE:

spoils you, a lot, as well as kind of babying you. will it do you any good in the future? probably not, but for now it works since hes putting you before everything else. makes sure IHAs arent too hectic, though... it took him a while to find that sweet spot between too crazy and too boring, caine isnt really good at mellowing himself out.. has probably spooked you at least once on accident since he has this large booming voice and hes kind of out there.... he didnt mean to startle you, please dont cry! he makes funny faces to try to make you stop crying

POMNI:

very bad at comforting someone when theyre crying and i think this would still be an issue with you even if youre her kid/adoptive kid.. younger sibling... something.. tries the basic stuff you do to calm a crying kid down; funny faces, candy, toys, ect ect. over time she does get better at identifying what you need in scenarios where things are upsetting you. speaks for you a lot of the time when there can be a possible conflict, kind of shields you from things that could hurt you out of fear that something is going to hit too hard. long run its not ideal, but similar to caine, it works in the moment, you know?

RAGATHA:

very sweet and patient with you, hardly ever raises her voice at people and she will never raise her voice around you. gently urges you to try to speak for yourself and stand up for yourself when someone is being a little mean (though, to be fair, i cant see any of the current cast being intentionally mean.. we'll get to jax in a minute hush). very encouraging, too. kind of a mix between letting you be sensitive, but also urging you to try to get a little tougher, you know? never makes you do things youre not comfortable with doing, though. lets you hang out in her room if youre getting too overwhelmed with something, lets you play with and mess with some of her sewing stuff (supervised! needles are sharp!)

JAX:

teases you but is gentler with you, though with how sensitive you are sometimes even softening himself isnt enough. while the others try to shield and protect you from the world around you, hes likely going to try to push you to be more... bold, tough, you know. not sensitive. i feel that he might be too pushy with you and may thrust you into the deep end before youre ready for it, so either youre going to need to speak up, or someone else will... generally not ideal since hes more of a big brother figure that kind of messes with his younger siblings rather than a parent.... shrugs.. does stand up for you the second someone else makes you cry, regardless of if they do it intentionally or not

KINGER:

the dad. the father, the papa. the grandfather, even. maybe its because i hc that he already has kids out in the real world and he instinctively knows what to do with you... but i think he would be really good with you developing a thicker skin. does not shame you for who you are, though. actually i feel like he would also remind you that being sensitive isnt a big deal and it doesnt exactly make you weak compared to others. it just means you have big emotions, all the better to connect with people, you know? good dad. probably plays catch with you... those talks kids and dads have when theyre fishing that carries a life lesson... or maybe admin was introduced to really specific scenarios growing up... shrugs

ZOOBLE:

cross between jax and pomni i think. zooble is bad at comforting people, but i do think they would push for you to grow a spine and snap back at someone when theyre messing with you. though unlike jax they dont immediately throw you into it, rather i think they would have one on one time with you where you guys just talk about the stuff... still stands up for you, though they tend to give you a minute to speak for yourself during situations to say youre not okay with whats being done to you. probably teaches you little comebacks and insults to say to people when theyre being assholes

GANGLE:

honestly? she can relate. i can see this going two ways... perhaps being both at the same time...? shrugs.. she can relate to you because shes also sensitive, and it leads to you guys having this sweet sibling connection where you guys dont feel so bad for crying so easily. or it inspires gangle to try to be tougher, for your sake, so you have someone to lean on during tougher days. i think both are nice, in my opinion. similar to ragatha she lets you hang out in her room, drawing.. you both use art to express yourselves when wording things get too hard

the working of a revived person's body ; inspired by the moot @watermelonfrog2 !!

when someone dies, their body goes through a natural process of decomposition. the body doesnt serve any purpose, as it has seaced function, so with it no longer being self sustaining, it starts to rot.

this is a know fact, but what if the body was sprung to life after this prolongated pause?

tommys body didnt deteriorate much post-mortis. other than the... "mishandling" from dream, his body would only partially rot, nothing that big. well, thats if we dont count the multiple bruises from his rather violent death.

however, wilbur, who was dead for a long time, didnt have much luck in that regard. by nine months, the human body will be swollen and in an advanced state of decomposition, alongside a foul stench natural of the rot.

the revival book will fix you up just enough to stay alive, but that doesnt mean it will completely heal you.

tommys wounds had long since closed, even if the bruises were still there. the revival book stopped his internal bleeding, and fixed some part of his broken skull just so the pieces wouldnt stab his brain and provoke an instant death.

wilburs only wound would have been the gaping hole in his stomach, caused by the sword he had handed his father that day... however, even when that closed, the decaying state of his body would have killed him instantly.

being fixed up by the books power isnt nice nor soothing. its actually rather painful, as your body is forced to work all if the sudden and heal itself so quickly it will drain you of any other energy you might have.

wilburs body is still rotting, and the stench of the death follows him because he was dead for a long time.

i imagine that tommy would help patch him up and evem replace some bits of skin.

regen and healing potions are a basic necesity for the revived. their body doesnt work properly, and the natural healing process doesnt either. if left untreated, a small wound could be the cause of their next death, because the wound will never close by itself.

tommy had to taku up sewing once again to apth himself up, just like the old war times, except this time no one wouls hold his hand to aliviate the pain.

they run really cold, too, because the blood rushes slowly through their veins. revived ones tend to avoid cold places because of this. they miss the warmth they had once experienced. tommy wants to seek out tubbo, but snowchester is too cold, no matter how many layers of clothing puts on. wilbur wanted to stay with phil, but the coldness of the commune just served to remind him of those long years stuck in the train station.

they are sickly pale, no matter what. their skin a greyish color. no matter how much time they spend under the sun, it will never gain a lively color again. sometimes wilbur will use makeup to add redish tone to him skin, but he knows its fake.
