warnings: fluff (warning lol) friends to lovers, idiots to lovers,
a/n: i actually really loved this <3 i hope you do too
tell me you love me vol 2
Tumblr media
Steve Harrington had already tried twice in his life to confess his love for you.
The first time, you two were in the tenth grade and you had just accepted stupid Jack Warren's invitation to prom, so Steve didn't bother. That was back when he was settling into popularity anyway, so he got over it pretty quickly. He was dating Cathy Bartlett the next week.
The second time, Robin had made him pinky promise not to date you. She had held him down, sat on his back and twisted his arm until he pinky swore that he wouldn't do anything to destroy the delicate ecosystem of the friend group. There was already one awkward ex-situation in there.
But Robin was right, you were not like the girls he normally dated. If things went wrong he wouldn't be able to just sweep it under the rug, it could have painful ramifications for all his friends. Although... he didn't actually think it would go that bad. Steve would find his mind wandering on the idea often. He pictured the two of you in the kitchen, side by side cooking dinner and talking about your day. When he thought of you, it felt like home. It felt like somewhere he could build a house and live forever.
If he could only get the words out, he'd realize how quickly you'd accept him. He'd realize he wasn't the only one of you that was stupid in love.
You had been in love with Steve since you could remember. But never once thought he'd shared your interest, not with all the girls around him all the time. The way he shines in their attention and basks in their praise, it's enough to make you sure he's happy with how it is. Or he probably wouldn't have told you all about his date with Debbie Dabbenthorn, right?
Tonight, you, Nancy and Robin were at a party. Something Steve desperately tried to make not happen. But he was working, so there was no one to stop you girls from coaxing each other into drink after drink, which you always did. The three of you always drank too much, and Steve always got stuck trying to coral you and Robin into his car.
At the party, Nancy was handing you another red cup filled to the brim, sloshing over the side and coating your fingers. You hadn't noticed.
"I love when we ditch the boys," Nancy said, smiling as she sipped out of her own solo cup. "It's so fun!"
"Same," Robin said, slinging her arm around Nancy's shoulers, making the two of them sway and laugh. They caught their balance and cheered drinks. "Hey, help me find the bathroom!"
It wasn't hard to find, but it was hard for all three of you to get there without knocking into each other, but it didn't matter. The three of you giggled the whole way, laughing too hard over barely anything. Enjoying the simple joy of being with your friends on a party.
The line for the bathroom was short, only a few people deep. Nancy was grilling Robin on her love life while Robin evaded every question with a vague answer, soon, she turned it onto you, focusing Nancy on the other singler girl in the group.
"Do you not think anyone is cute at least?" Nancy said, not quite believing you when you say you didn't have a crush on anyone at the moment. You shrugged, trying to avoid admitting that it was her ex boyfriend that really turned your head. Robin chuckled, and slid into the bathroom.
You started sipping your drink when Nancy asked, "Not even Steve?" and you nearly choked, but you coughed once and composed yourself. You stared at her, confused as to why she would bring him up.
"You don't have to say anything," she said, and you looked into your cup, noting that you'd need a replacement after this trip. "But it would be okay with me."
Robin opened the bathroom door again, reassembling the trio be throwing her arms around both of your shoulders. "New drinks!" she cheered, steering you all in the direction of the kitchen.
"Drink up," Nancy giggled, "and then let's dance!"
So that's what you did, you guys drank and danced and had a great time. Until Jonathan came to pick up Nancy. That's when you saw that it was after nine, so Steve should've been on the way to come collect you and Robin from your drunken outing. You told Robin again how nice it was for Steve to come get you.
"But c'mon, you love him right?" Robin asked, laughing at your shock.
"I do not love him," you argued, but you did. Robin shrugged, but didn't look convinced. "He just is beautiful, that's all."
"Nah," she said, brushing off the idea with a wave of her hand. "You just love him."
"Do not," you mumbled. But Robin already leaned the other way when Vicki walked up to talk to her. You leaned further into the couch, the ugly thing was very comfortable. Steve should be there any minute.
"Hey," Robin whispered, "Vicki invited me to go with her friends to the lake... Are you gunna be okay here? You're not too drunk are you? Because if you think you can't stay awake, I'll stay of course..."
"Robin, go! I'll be fine for like two minutes..." you slurred, you were pretty drunk but Steve really was going to be there any second.
"Okay!" she didn't have to be told twice before she was scrambling after Vicki in her love-drunk haze. Or maybe just regular drunk, but Robin was feeling giddy anyway.
Steve was running behind because he lost the address that Robin had given him. She'd just ripped off a corner of a piece of paper, and Steve had lost it at some point in his shift. When he finally found the place he was thirty minutes behind.
When he got inside you were curled up on the couch alone, snoozing while some couple made out next to you in the spot Robin had vacated. He smiled when he saw you, and took a knee next to you, trying to wake you up nicely. He stroked your cheek, and tucked some hair behind ear, making you stir softly in your slumber.
"Time to get up," Steve said, "Where's Robin?"
"Went with Vicki," you whispered, rubbing your eyes, smudging whatever makeup wasn't already ruined from the dancing.
"Well, how mean of her to leave you here all alone," he said, running his thumb along your cheek again. "Can't trust you guys alone now though, she did leave you to fall asleep at a house party. That's like really bad, I'm mad at her."
You made a soft noise in response, his stern voice was, not so stern. He smiled at you, and you couldn't help but notice how beautiful he was. Leaning close to you, rubbing your cheek, hair falling perfectly on his forehead and you just wanted to reach up and brush it away like he did. But your hands were wedged under your head, and you were afraid that if you stirred even an inch, he would leave, and this moment would be over.
"Guess you'll just have to make sure you come with us next time," you whispered, eyes bloodshot and glossy from all the alcohol. He thought you were the most beautiful girl in the room. The party was still raging around him, and he easily could've found a place within the girls, but he was content in this moment with you. Your eyes started feeling heavy, and you couldn't stop them from constantly fluttering shut.
“C'mon let me help you up babe,” Steve said, aiding your drunk figure. The nickname made your stomach flip. You were dead weight, giggling as he took care of you and grabbed your things and still found the patience to be kind to you, musing like he was interested in all your drunk babble.
“You're just so pretty, Stevie, it's stupid,” you cooed, finding a place beside him with his arms around you for balance as he lead you, slowly, to his car.
"D-Don't say that stuff," Steve said, voice cracking at the beginning. You were drunk, and it was dark, but you still noticed the blush on Steve's cheeks, and you smiled.
He opened the door for you, and you commented, "so romantic," while holding your hand over your heart, and Steve's heart raced. He went around the trunk of his car to get another second of fresh air, if you saw him in the light you were sure to see the heat he felt in his neck and cheeks. You were flirting with him, and he couldn't contain his excitement every time you complimented him, looking up at him with those beautiful eyes.
The entire trip was like that. From the moment he was in the car you were just a loose cannon of compliments and praises. This combination of him sober and you drunk has never happened while alone before. Were you this flirty with him when he was drunk too?
The answer was yes. The real reason Nancy knew you really wanted Steve was because whenever you two are drunk and together you look like you're in love... because you are. Holding hands, head on shoulder, legs across laps, big bright smiles that made everyone think you were truly, madly, deeply in love. Everything that's just a little too friendly, but never crossing that silly little line that kept you both under the umbrella of just friends.
You were a delight in his passenger seat. He only wished you spoke like this when you were sober, because then maybe he'd know for sure you love him too.
"Hey Steve?" you asked, voice coming out as almost a purr in your sleepy state. Steve's heart melted. "Can I hold your hand?"
"Yeah," he answered, clearing his throat and moving his hand over to your lap, intertwining your fingers. Your hands were cold to the touch, but all you felt was the comforting warmth of him. You were both smiling, goofy grins to match the butterflies in your stomach. "You can hold my hand whenever you like."
You made another happy hum, but said nothing else. The ride was short. No words exchanged, just the quiet songs on the radio, turned low to let you drift off in the passenger seat.
When you got to his house, he parked the car, looking at you. He didn't want to wake you. And he didn't want to let go of your hand. Maybe he should just stay in the car all night.
Of course he didn't do that. Steve weaseled his way out of your grip, not bothering to hide how pleased he was that you whined at the loss of his touch. he helped you out of the car, encouraging you to climb on his back for "an express ride to the VIP bathroom," and he delivered, carrying you, all dead weight and giggling, to the bathroom where he left you to clean up. You put on the clothes he delivered, Plaid pajama pants and a big grey shirt. Well, you put the shirt on, the pajama pants were thrown into the tub, because you couldn't be forced to wear pants.
"Steeeeeve," you slurred, leaving the bathroom, giggling and bumping into the doorframe.
Steve was standing in the doorway to his room, wearing only blue plaid pj pants. His torso on glorious display, while he stood frozen at the sight of you. You stretched your arms over your head, and the shirt rose, exposing your panties to him. He nearly choked looking at you.
"Can I sleep in your room?" you asked, smiling at the effect you had on him. "Look how cute I am," you said, turning around and lifting the shirt while bending over slightly, giving him a perfect view of your ass, with the panties laying deliciously over your cheeks.
"Jesus," he muttered, unable to look away but trying to force himself to. He shouldn't be sneaking a peak while you were this drunk, but in his defence you were the one showing him. "Come to bed, just put your shirt down."
"It's your shirt," you teased, obeying him anyway. You danced behind him into the room, and crawled into bed. It smelled so good, it smelled like him. You could've stayed by Steve's side under these blankets forever.
You lay facing Steve, in his overly big, overly comfortable bed, too tired and drunk to keep your eyes open, but you still try. Steve smiles at your determination to stay awake, he watches your eyes blink quickly, trying to shake the sleep away.
You want to reach over and intertwine your hands, you don’t. He wants to reach out and brush the hair off your forehead and behind your ear, he doesn’t.
“Are we in love, Steve?”
The sharpness of your question cuts him, wounding him in a way he didn’t know was possible. He wanted to speak, but there were no words. No charismatic come back, and no way to avoid the lingering question in the air. Steve holds his tears back. He really did love you.
When your eyes peak open, he’s nodding. His eyes filled with tears that he refuses to let you see, but you see. "Yeah, I think so."
“Why is it so sad?”
“Because we're best friends," he said, "and I can't lose you."
"Tell me you love me," you whispered, silly mood replaced with a tight feeling in your throat, like you were going to cry. But you held it back.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too."
He wanted to cry. He wanted to kiss you. But instead, he just sighed, and found your hand under the sheets, and held it tightly. He was frozen. This was his dream come true, so why did it feel like a nightmare? Like you were right there, but he couldn't have you. Like he was doomed to stay in love with you, and never actually get to be with you.
“I will still love you in the morning whether I say it or not, Stevie.” Your eyes finally started winning the battle, and they stayed closed more than they stayed open, too heavy too fight.
"I know babe," he said, watching as you breathing changed and your eyes didn't open again. "I will too."

peer pressure || lucy bronze x teen!reader (platonic) ||
Tumblr media
things don't go as planned when you sneak out for a party, so you call lucy to pick you up.
you knew better than to sneak out. you knew that it wasn't worth the consquences that would be coming from all sides of your life. however, you wanted to feel like a normal teenager for once in your life. for so long, you had been doing everything that you were told in the hopes that they'd all be proud of you.
if it wasn't for alexia chewing you out at practice, you probably wouldn't have gotten the bright idea of coming out. yelling back at your captain had not been the right move, and once your parents were notified of that, you were in for it at home. they had berated you about respect and how easy it would be for barcelona to decide that they didn't want you playing for them.
you had never been to a party before, and in all honesty, you had come with the hope that your neighbor would notice you. she was the most beautiful girl that you had ever seen in your entire life. the embarrassing crush you had developed on ingrid seemed like nothing whenever you first spoke to enya. she had been living across the street from you for some time, but the two of you hadn't spoken until recently.
"(y/n), you came!" enya seemed excited to see you. she grasped your hands in hers and leaned in to give you a kiss on the cheek. your skin flushed at the contact, heating up at the fact that she had nearly kissed you on the lips. "come on, i've got someone i want you to meet."
"okay," you said as you followed her further into the party. immediately, you hated the atmosphere. it was loud, smelled like smoke and alcohol, and the flashing lights made your head hurt. you had never been in an environment like that before, and it wasn't one you could see yourself in often.
"who is this?" in front of you sat two guys. one of them you had caught glimpses of before, but you had never seen the other one before. the one that you had seen before was speaking, a slightly annoyed look on his face that told you he knew who you were.
"this is my neighbor, (y/n). she's the soccer player," enya said. the boy you didn't know perked up immediately. he smiled at you, and if you were into boys, he would have been your type. "(y/n), this is pedro, and my boyfriend, elias."
"nice to meet you." you forced a smile as you shook their hands. your months of media training came in handy, but not in the ways you thought it would.
"can i get you a drink?" pedro asked as he stood up. he towered over you quite a bit, but there was something unthreatening about him. you nodded, missing the way that enya excitedly nudged her boyfriend. the two of you weren't really friends, but you had spent a little bit of time together talking. enya seemed to be very interested in why you didn't go to school like everyone else.
pedro came back with your drink a few moments later, and you were grateful that it was in a sealed bottle. you hung around their little group having a few drinks until elias pulled out a bong. barcelona drug tested quite often, and if you didn't pass, you'd never hear the end of it. you moved to get up, but enya placed her hand on your thigh to keep you in your seat.
"come on, one hit won't hurt," enya said. if it wasn't for the way that she was looking at you, you probably would have been strong enough to walk away. instead, you sat there and let them pass it around. enya seemed to realize that you cared more about spending time with her than pedro because she slowly slipped into his place next to you. she helped you with hitting the bong and making sure that your hand was never without a drink.
"maybe let's slow down a bit," elias laughed uneasily. enya shot him a nasty glare, but he seemed persistent. he nodded towards pedro, who helped you up onto your feet to get some air outside. you couldn't walk on your own, and all of the movement had you throwing up outside of the house by the steps. "goddamn it en, i knew she couldn't hang."
"whatever, let's just get back inside," enya said. she pulled both her boyfriend and his friend back inside, leaving you outside on your own. you were terrified out there on your own, unsure of who you could call. your parents were out of the question because technically, you were still grounded. you couldn't call alexia because she would have killed you for sneaking out to go to a party. it was in the midseason, which meant that she expected everybody to be smart about their decisions. finally, your brain settled on calling lucy, who seemed most likely not to ask you too many questions.
"jesus christ kid, do you know what time it is?" lucy hadn't let the call ring more than twice. unbeknownst to you, your parents had come into your room to check on you, only to find you gone. they knew that you liked going out on walks to clear your head, so they hadn't panicked like they wanted to. if you did decide to go to a teammate's house, they'd find out about it in the morning.
"could you please come and get me? i'm not having fun, i don't want to be here anymore." lucy shot up in her head at the obvious slur of your words. she managed to find you pretty easily, but still stayed on the phone with you the whole time.
"hey kid, did they leave you out here by yourself?" lucy asked as she scooped you up off of the steps. you nodded, instantly regretting it as a wave of nausea washed over you. lucy held your head back as you threw up in the grass before you got into her car. the usual gests that she would have had driving home other drunk teammates died before they made it to her mouth. she was just concerned about taking care of you.
"thank you for getting me," you muttered as you leaned against lucy's body. she gave up with trying to help you up the stairs, opting instead to just carry you. lucy wasn't quite sure what you needed, so she helped you change into some shorts and a tank top before letting you take her bed for the night. "where's oni?"
"ona went home already," lucy told you as she tucked you in. she started to walk away, but was stopped when you let out a particularly pathetic little whine. "what's wrong?"
"i'm scared. will you stay with me? nobody's going to love me tomorrow," you told her. lucy sighed as she turned around and pulled the comforter back to lay next to you. "will you tickle my back like my mami does? it feels nice."
"i don't know how your mami does it," lucy pointed out. you were quick to grab her hand and place it on your back. lucy got the gist pretty quickly, and despite her awkwardness about it, you still found it very soothing. you quickly drifted off to sleep in lucy's arms, not even stirring a little when she called your parents to let them know where you were. she sighed heavily, knowing that she'd have to call alexia next because it seemed that your parents hadn't cared much that you were gone. she just had to hope that alexia didn't get too mad when she came to pick you up the next morning.

— bad girls turned good
pairing: wednesday addams x fem!reader
warnings: smut, lesbian sex, strapon referred to as cock, choking, spanking, mommy kink, mirror sex, all characters are aged-up
summary: wednesday gets fed up with your antics quite often, and her measures against such naughty behavior never fail
word count: 1.1k
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wednesday has never been known for her patience. Quite the opposite, actually — ticking her off is never too much of a feat. You can never tell if she’s vexed – the girl keeps her expression passive, but a closer look can easily reveal a furrow in her brow, her jaw clenched tight and the way it moves in an almost threatening, though barely noticeable way. When she's exasperated, she glares holes through her dark furrowed eyebrows, and it's enough for most to get the idea.
Those signals are never enough for you – in fact, they spur you on, make you want to see Wednesday's resolve shatter, to get her angry and bothered. And, oh, the things you do on a daily basis are enough to annoy the hell out of her – be it skipping classes, getting into a yet another fight, or the ravenette finding you in the backyard of the school with the group of Furs, a cigarette clenched between your grinning teeth as you laugh with your fuzzy – haired friends like a pleased hyena.
Nothing ever seems enough for you. No warnings from the principal, no detentions, no extra work. It’s like you find joy in doing things against the system that has long been established in Nevermore.
Well, Wednesday, for once, knows all the ways to make you behave.
And she’s not against exploiting the power she has over you when you make her mad.
"Always so disobedient... So eager to break all the rules, and being so cocky about it, too... I've got my hands full with you, don't I? Do I have to fuck those annoying habits out of you?"
Another slap echoes in the room and you whimper into your pillow, palms clenching at the sheets. The bed dips when you feel the ravenette crane her neck to watch your face contort at the stinging pain – she’s laying behind you, a perfect angle for her to deliver the strikes to the jiggling flesh, to skim her cold palms up and down your body, purposefully avoiding all the places where you wish she would just touch you already. But you're not the one in charge.
She ghosts her digits over the round swell of your ass that’s already pink and pretty for her, running her hands down the back of your thighs, and stops at your entrance to collect some of your slick before pushing two slender fingers inside the warmth. It’s such a treat after all those agonizing moments of teasing, and your walls suck her in greedily, making you whine at the wonderful feeling of the stretch.
"Playing such an ostentatious role isn't a good image when you're always so tight for me..," you feel her chuckle against your ear, and the small puff of air sends a pleasurable tingle down your spine, “But you wouldn’t be for anyone else, would you? It’s just not your style… People think you’re so tough, so pretentious… But only I know the truth.”
Wednesday wraps a thin hand around your neck, pulling you flush against her, and you feel her clothed middle press against your back – the contrast of her dressed and composed being, sleeves tucked to her elbows, as if disciplining you is such a chore, against your half – naked and disheveled one makes heat pool at your stomach.
Her fingers are pulled out, but she keeps them on your heat, spreading you open for her, and you’re so aroused it almost hurts – but she’s quick to replace the aching emptiness with something thicker than her digits, and you almost salivate as you feel the head of the strapon – Wednesday's favorite, dark as night — press against your heat, and you throb with excitement.
She rubs it up and down, slowly, teasingly, coating the thick tip in your sticky arousal, and sighs at the sight of you, positively dripping – you’re so easy to break it’s almost laughable.
Oh, if only they could see what you really are. A complete mess for her.
Her hand goes under your knee, raising goosebumps in its wake, and with a surprising display of strength she lifts it easily — her silicone cock finally slides into you, and a broken moan escapes your lips as the ravenette pushes all the air out of your lungs. You're shaking, muscles tense, but Wednesday doesn't even move, content with the way you look, desperate, keening on her filling shaft, flittering walls wrapping around it.
"Cattiva ragazza mia... Is this what you wanted from the start? A reminder? A punishment, maybe? For me to turn you into my good girl again?” She asks, voice low and heavy with want, and you can barely bring yourself to answer her through the bulbous head pressing into all the right places.
"M-mommy." You whine, turning your head to meet her gaze, and there's burning lust in her dark pools, but she catches you watching, her black manicured nails digging into the meat of your thigh.
"No. Eyes on the mirror. Don't make me repeat myself."
You comply, turning your head back to face the glass, and if your mind wasn’t clouded by pure, unadulterated lust, you’d be embarrassed at the sight — your shirt is practically torn open, some of the buttons missing thanks to the force the fuming ravenette undid them with, your tie hanging loosely between your breasts, and your lips are beautifully bruised, hanging open with hot heavy breaths.
“Look at you. Not as smart – mouthed when I have you like this, now, are you?
Wednesday pulls out, and you barely have any time to catch your breath before she rams into your cunt again, making you gasp, but there’s no consistent pace — you don’t deserve it. The ravenette’s grip on your thigh is bruising, preventing you from moving against her cock, and it’s a torture, one that, much to your displeasure, Wednesday enjoys endlessly.
“Fuck, please...,“ you beg pathetically, voice shaky, reaching your free arm that wasn’t busy tearing through the bedsheets behind your shoulder to bury your fingers into her dark hair, pressing her even closer to yourself, “I can’t... Need you so bad, Wednesday...”
She’s not even fucking you properly yet, but has you teetering on the edge already.
“Only good girls can have me, (Y/n)... Are you going to be a good girl for me?” She asks, voice perfectly raspy against your ear, and you shudder.
“Yes, yes, please, I’ll be a good girl, your good girl.” You breathe, and she smiles, finally getting you to obey.
“Let’s test that theory, shall we, bella?”

Hate and love

Hello!
This one is from a request, you still can ask me to write something if you want to :)
I have to say that I'm not really sure about this one, but here it is.
Enjoy ♥
TW : Angst, harassment, divorce, loneliness.
______________________________________________________________
Your arrival in Barcelona at the winter transfer almost a year ago has gone rather well. You quickly bonded with most of the players and you didn’t have any trouble becoming a part of the FC Barcelona family. You maybe wasn't in the Top 3 of the public favorite players, but you don't really mind. You were a bit sad about the departure of some of them this summer, especially Jenni and Ana who were kind of mentors for you during these few months. And even if you continue to exchange news with them, you must admit that it is not the same.
Playing previously in Seville, you already knew quite well some of the players of the team, usually staying on the pitch after the matches to chat a little. You were separated during the World Cup, your national team not being strong enough to pass the qualifications you were in the first to return to training in Barcelona. This did not prevent you from making the trip to Australia to support your friends and obviously the Spanish national team.
You celebrated their victory from the VIP party with friends and family before returning to Barcelona in your daily routine. The world champions have gradually returned to training and you have welcomed new players to the team, always in a good mood.
Everything seems perfect told like that, yet there is something that bothers you since your arrival in Barcelona.
Aitana Bonmati.
She never seemed very happy to see you arrive and you never understood why. At first you said to yourself that she was perhaps afraid that your arrival would cause an imbalance in the group, as can happen sometimes when an element has a too strong personality. Some are afraid of change and you have not asked yourself more questions than that, letting this information slip into a corner of your brain. She wasn’t necessarily part of the small group of girls you trained with regularly anyway since you don’t play in the same spot on the field.
But this summer, you could see that the new arrivals had the right to a big smile and other privileges to which you were not entitled. It’s not really a question of ego, but you don’t understand what you did to her to make her react this way with you. And that's hurt.
You have even noticed with the passing of time that she tends to be rather unpleasant with you, not responding to your hello when you arrive in the locker room for example. It happens to her to roll discreetly her eyes when you speak and you even surprised once Ona throwing her an elbow in the ribs while making the big eyes. It was a relief to see that you were not crazy and that your teammates were taking your side, but it also confirmed what you thought.
And gradually, it plunged you into a kind of constant anxiety, reminding you of some of your traumas during your childhood and adolescence. During which you were often mocked, the girl who preferred to play football rather than dance. Your father always supported you in your choices, unlike your mother, your big brother and your big sister. When they separated you went to live with him and he sacrificed a lot so that you would be where you are today, but you never had the heart to tell him about the harassment you were experiencing at school.
**********
"Can I talk to you?"
Alexia’s voice surprises you while you were focused on the laces of your Converse, making you jump a little. Lost in your thoughts, you were ruminating about the disaster you were during this training. You didn’t put a single ball in the net, you got so distracted that you got a remonstrance from Jona and you almost kill Mapi with a bad pass. Mapi preferred to laugh and quickly came to reassure you by giving you a friendly slap in the back and a hug, to your greatest relief. You would have been horrified to be hated by another of your teammates.
"Sure" you mumble without looking at her.
Alexia’s voice was sweet when she offered to follow her to one of the conference rooms and you complied after picking up your bag and stuff. All the other girls have already returned and the corridors now seem deserted.
When you arrive in the room, you watch Alexia open the blinds slightly as you stand against the wall, very close to the door. You’re anxious and just waiting to be scolded. It often happened like this, teachers taking you aside to say that you weighed on the morale or level of the class. That you had to work on it if you wanted to be accepted and have good results. But no one ever seemed to wonder why you didn’t get along with your classmates. No one ever noticed or understood the harassment you were experiencing. You never mentioned that either, but you would have given ten years of your life for someone to notice. Anyone.
So when Alexia turns to you with an almost maternal expression, it completely disarms you. Her eyes were soft and you can easily detect a form of concern in it.
"You can come closer, I won’t eat you" Alexia gently smiles before sitting on one of the tables, probably to make this conversation less formal.
After hesitating for a second, you settle down in front of her playing nervously with your hair.
"What can I do for you?" you ask, instead of "How are you gonna let me know that I’m gonna heat up the backup bench over the next few weeks?"
"I just wanted to make sure that everything was fine. You seem a little out of place these last few days and it’s starting to worry us. I talked with Jona about it today"
She seems embarrassed to tell you that she told someone else about you without you knowing, making you frown. Your facial expression is probably misunderstood by your captain as she hastens to add
"Don’t take this the wrong way. we’re just worried about you"
"I... I'm fine"
You shrug before biting your lip. You are a bad liar, you know it. And it didn't fool Alexia.
"You don’t have to tell me if you don’t feel comfortable with it. But there are other people here who will listen to you with pleasure."
"Don’t worry about me. It was just a time like this, but I’ll be fine"
Because it's what you always did. Figuring and fighting things alone, even if you have now friends who you trust and who you know you can count on.
"You don't have to do that alone, you know"
"Why do you even care?"
You roll your eyes. Sur Alexia is a great captain, and you like her a lot. As a friend of course, but you can't denied that she deserve her title. Like most other girls she is sincerely kind and knows how to distinguish between competition and friendships in the locker room. This is an example for you, as it is for many other girls. And even if she knows all this, she remains modest and does not take the big head. Pretty impressive, in your opinion.
"Is that even a question Y/N?"
Alexia laughs, but it’s a surprise laugh. She seems surprised at the sincerity of your question. And, seeing that you don't answer, she gently shakes her head before answering you.
"Because we care, you're part of this family and even if half of us are totaly crazy, we care for each other. Whatever your problem is, you don't have to figure out alone."
And these sentences, even if it seems to be the most natural thing for Alexia, break down the barriers you have put up until now. You feel tears wet your cheeks without being able to do anything to stop them. As if the dam that you had formed all these years had broken and all the tears that you had retained until today finally decided to come out. And obviously, it bothers you terribly.
You mumble excuses between two sobs, but after more or less calling you an idiot, Alexia breaks the distance between you two to take you in her arms and rock you against her. You don’t know how long you stay like this, but you still stop crying.
So you tell her everything.
The harassment when you were little, from part of your family and the children in your classes. The divorce of your parents which you feel responsible despite everything, this feeling of loneliness that you have since you were born certainly. This feeling of never being fully understood by anyone, until you arrived here. And then you talk about your teammate who reminds you of that, without giving her name. You don’t want to be a problem and Alexia doesn’t ask you to name her. Maybe because she already knows who she is?
The blonde listens to you without saying a word, patiently wiping the tears that continue to roll on your cheeks. When you are silent, exhausted by these confessions and your tears, she speaks again in a calm and soothing voice.
"I’m not going to pretend that I understand you because I was lucky enough to have a family that always supported me. I wouldn’t be here without them, honestly."
The bond between Alexia and her mother, even her sister is know by anyone. You nod, still looking at her.
"But you, you made your way all by yourself. You're only 21 Y/N, you don't realise how strong you are. But being strong doesn't always mean you have to be alone. You have friends here, people who love you and care for you. You are not alone anymore."
With that you smile at her, feeling relieved. As if the weight of all these years were coming off your shoulders. You even feel like you can breathe better. So you thank Alexia, with simple words but you couldn’t explain how much you think about them. As she lays a kiss on your cheek, you put your arms around her neck to hug her and press your words. She gives you your hug back before training you out of the room. Tomorrow is another day and you promise to do better than that.
**********
The rest of the workouts of the week are much better and you decide to completely ignore Aitana. You remain polite nevertheless, but you act as if she's not there. And this seems to annoy her even more but you decided that's not your problem. Many times you feel her look burn your back and you have time to see her black look before she realizes that you are looking at her and she looks away.
But your morale and your game are back to normal and it’s a great relief for you. For Alexia and your coach too, the man simply slips you a short compliment at the end of a session. No need to make tons and that’s enough for you.
The last practice before the next game goes as usual. You do your warm-ups with your fellow defenders, then you are shuffled for courses and drills before a five-player mini-team tournament is organized. You feel a form of anxiety that makes your heart beat when your team is against Aitana, but you decide to focus on the game.
It goes pretty well until you are tackled a little too ferociously by someone from the opposing team. The pain in your ankle and instantaneous and you can’t hold a cry of pain as you collapse to the ground.
"What the fuck Aitana?" Mapi snaps, but you don't really care for now.
The second duel that took place next to you seems to have stopped too, but the tears of pain that fill your eyes prevent you from seeing it for the moment.
"You're ok?"
Irene has knelt beside you and you feel a compassionate hand behind your back. Long black hair obscuring part of the view informs you that it's Ingrid. You answer a simple no with a nod and a few minutes later you are transported to the infirmary. Ona offered to accompany you and you agreed, realizing that you didn't want to be alone.
**********
"Sprain" informs you the nurse and you let yourself go against the file of the infirmary bed on which you are. "It means rest for two weeks."
You pout, but turn your attention to Ona when she places a friendly hand on your arm. You are so used to spending this kind of time alone that you sometimes forget for a few seconds that she is with you. You must be able to easily win the worst friend award.
"At least it’s not the ligaments" Ona said softly.
"You’re right" you sigh.
She gives you a compassionate smile and you assure her that she can take a shower and change. You still have the prescription to wait and the nurse must come back with your brace and crutches. After making sure you weren’t going to go home with an Uber but with her and Lucy, she eventually left the room. She even offers to inform the rest of the team of your injury and you accept willingly, not wanting to go to put a show there downstairs.
A few minutes pass and you always wait when someone knocks on the door.
"I still haven’t finished Ona, but you can come in."
Except that it is not Ona who enters, but Aitana. The look fixed on her shoes and the air of someone who goes to the torture room. And this time, the anger you had not yet felt takes hold of you.
"I came to apologize" Aitana mumbles without turning her eyes towards you.
"Well, it's done" you answer coldly, turning your back on her.
You don’t want to look at her. You’re mad at her, at her behavior. That she doesn’t like you is one thing, but that she makes you unable to play for two weeks is another.
"It wasn't voluntary"
You hold a sarcastic laugh and slowly shake your head.
"Ok."
Aitana seems surprised at your reaction, but you don’t care. It's true that usually you are more the one who flees the conflict and who prefers to go with the idea of the person in front of you to please her. She stands there and it annoys you. So you suddenly turn your head in her direction and you talk to her dryly.
"All right, you can go now. Just leave me alone."
The tone of your voice seems to make her react since she frowns and steps in your direction.
"Don’t talk to me like that."
You feel your heart racing, you have never been very good at dealing with disputes and emotions. Until now you had managed to buried them deep inside when they became too powerful but it seems that since your confessions to Alexia you are no longer able to do so. She says it’s a pretty good things, but you're not really sure about that.
"Don’t tell me how to talk to you when you’ve been treating me like shit since I got here, Aitana."
Aitana is stunned. She never saw you angry and expected you to accept her apology so that she could get out of this room as quickly as she got in. Her lost look irritates you a little more, she knew very well what she was doing by behaving as she did since the beginning. And you gradually realized that you didn’t deserve this.
"Who made you come here? Mapi, Alexia, Jonatan?"
She blushs and it's enough for you to understand that you are right. If she had the choice, she would never had been here, begging for your forgiveness.
"Get out" you groan, turning your back at her once again.
She didn't and you sigh before getting up as you can. It may not be the most graceful way to do it and it may take some drama off the stage, but you don't care.
"I said get out" you say, raising your voice now. "You don't want to be here and I don't want you here."
But she’s still not moving and your patience is coming to an end. From now on there is nothing else that separates you, except the bed on which you were lying a few moments ago. The nurse still hasn’t come back, but this might be the time to do it please.
"I- " began Aitana, without saying anything more.
"What do you want? Two weeks without me aren't enough? Want to break my other leg too?"
The frustration you feel about not understanding Aitana’s reaction and behavior may be pushing you a little to say things you never had the courage to say before. But it was less positive to return the floor to your interlocutor, whose face and eyes finally come alive again.
"I told you I didn't mean it" she half-screams and you snort. "Maybe I was wrong for acting with you like I did but..."
"Maybe?!" you interrupt her coldly.
"You made my life a living hell! You came here with your damn smile and skills and all my life fell appart!" Aitana is clearly shooting now and you blink, surprised by her rage. "I was in an healthy relationship, happy in my life and with this team. And you came along and everything fell apart! I am straight ok, I am so fucking straight but all I can think about all the time is you! I hate you for the way you make me feel but I'm not fucking able to change it even if I tried since you are here"
It is your turn to remain silent, your brain analyzing each of the words that she just said. And all this has absolutely no meaning for you, except the part where she confesses her hatred to you perhaps. Aitana’s breathing is fast and noisy, you can’t tell if it’s that or your screams that didn’t allow you to realize that you were no longer alone in the room.
"Hmm."
You look over Aitana’s shoulder and you realize that Ona has returned to the room with Lucy holding your crutches and a sheet of paper while she herself carry your bag.
"Maybe it’s time to go home"
Lucy’s perfectly expressionless face keeps you from knowing how long she’s been here. Two steps behind her, Ona makes her look between you and Aitana without saying anything. You nod and pass in front of Aitana with a limp, Ona reacting by breaking the last meters to help you take your crutches in hand.
You follow them silently to Lucy’s car and after some arguments with Ona you finally agree to sit in the passenger seat. By taking your phone out of your pocket, you realize that you have received some messages from your teammates wishing you a good recovery. And you quickly understand that they have created a tournus between them so that you are not alone at home. There will apparently be only during the trip next weekend where you will not have peace. But it makes you smile and a little forget what just happened.
"You want to eat with us tonight?" Lucy asks.
"Nah I'm good thank you. I usually watch some crap TV show on friday night."
You see Lucy peeking at you to make sure you’re not playing superhero and you feel the way she’s measuring you. You look up and sigh.
"I assure you it’s okay. Enjoy your Friday night, I’ll probably go to bed early anyway."
This time it's Ona that Lucy looks through the rearview mirror but neither of them insists, to your relief. Being alone doesn't bother you. Once at home, Ona helps you get out of the vehicle and before she can open her mouth, you speak again.
"I promise, i'm fine Ona."
"All right. I’ll leave you alone on the condition that you swear on your cat’s head that you will write me if you're not okay."
"Leave the poor cat alone" you joke, making her smile. "I promise."
**********
The doorbell on your front door makes you frown. You’re sitting on your couch, a blanket on your legs and your cat on your stomach. Your sprain is better, it must be said that after a week and a half of rest it would be dramatic that this is not the case. You have resumed muscle training, but it is obviously out of the question that you start running again for now. You can now move without your crutches and it was a great relief to be able to get rid of them. Your ankle is still carefully immobilized but you are now doing quite well.
Salma left your apartment half an hour ago, and you’re supposed to stop receiving visitors. Your father phones you every day and hasn’t done it yet, but he has no reason to show up here unannounced. That’s really not his style.
The bell rings again, waking up your cat who is rustling a little before going to eat croquettes in the kitchen. So you get up from the couch and go to the door, opening it without removing the safety chain to see who it is. And almost immediately you close the door, but the fingers of Aitana who slip into the opening prevent you to do so.
"Don’t make me break your fingers"
"Just let me in"
"No? What the hell"
"Y/N, please…"
The despair of her voice makes you flinch and you press your forehead against the door. You’re too sensitive to people’s distress to leave someone with that feeling. Even if it was Aitana herself who put you in this emotion there a few weeks ago. You sigh and, already regretting your gesture, you open the door to let her in. You avoid looking at her when she enters your home, closing the door behind her.
"You have a cat?"
You refrain from pointing out that if she had been interested in you instead of making you regret your arrival, she would know. If you don’t talk about your cat several times during the day, there is a problem.
"How do you know where I live?"
Aitana stop looking at your cat who spread out on your plaid to turn to you. With your arms crossed, you wait for his answer with a certain hint of curiosity. Aitana has never set foot in your house and if you are not mistaken, she does not really live in the neighborhood.
"I asked Irene"
She shrugs and you signal her to settle down on the couch. You go back to your place, gently pushing your cat to be a little more comfortable. With a simple look he made you understand that you're annoying, making you smile gently. You caress him to apologize as he stretches, rolls into a ball and closes his eyes.
"I came to apologize"
Sitting on the edge of the couch, Aitana looks at you with the same suspicion as if she had been the last piece of meat in the middle of a horde of hungry lions.
"I’ve already heard that before" you answer by arching an eyebrow
"I know. But I just... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, really. My problems shouldn’t have affected you. I should have handled things differently, but I was confuse and scared."
She looks sincere and does not look away when you judge her with yours. Next to you your cat stretches lazily before turning around on the other side and continuing his nap.
"Ok. Apologizes accepted"
She looks at you so long it makes you uncomfortable. You have never been in her presence for so long and you find yourself nervously wrapping your hair around your finger.
"If I could, I would do things differently, you know? I understand it’s out of the question that something is happening between us now, but I would like to start all over again. Get to know you, possibly offer you a date and then two if things go well."
You’re slowly biting your lip looking at her. You’d be lying if you said that the words she said in the infirmary didn’t mark you. You were far from imagining that the reason for his behavior was related to an attraction to you. You think it’s pretty toxic, but you like to think people deserve a second chance. After biting your lip, you bend over and reach out to her.
"Well... Hi. I'm Y/N, nice to meet you."

Close Call
Fem!Reader angst, mention of death, mention of trauma, mention of suicide
Tumblr media
Simon sits on the bar stool as he quite often does when he needs some alone time after missions although he usually doesn't drink this much during these self debriefing sessions but this last mission was a real tough one. He had a close call while clearing an enemy's building and he was scared shitless... like truly frightened out of his wits. He had never felt that way before until in that moment. Of course he always made sure to stay focused and finish the mission as unharmed as possible, but he never feared for his life to that extent because this time was different. He had you. What would happen to you if he was gone? How heartbroken would you be? Would all the pain come back? All that trauma you suffered from. All that heavy weight which he took off your shoulders. And you did the same for him. Oh how brave and strong you are in his eyes even though you don't see it yourself but he makes sure to make you believe in yourself step by step. Never pushing and prying too much just as you do with him... just as patient as you are. Would you survive if something happened to him? As much as he wants to stop these thoughts, he can't help but think about a conversation you once had on this topic. About how you wouldn't want to keep living if you ever lost him. He quickly pushes the thoughts away as the adrenaline and the extreme fear he experienced subside. He stands up just as a group of young people enter the bar chatting and laughing loudly already wasted probably bar hopping. As they settle, he reaches for his wallet to pay for the shots and leave as soon as possible. He misses you, but he needed some time to think those things through before seeing you. He didn't want you to see him in that state and god forbid to snap at you. As he gathers his stuff and begins to leave, one of the girls comes forward "where you goin, handsome? You seem kinda wasted. Do you need a ride?" 'Wasted my ass, just say you wanna get laid' he thought but replied coldly "Home. And no." "Well, it's still early. We can go to my place" she slurrs her words as her hand starts to touch his bicep which he quickly shakes off and states firmly "I have a wife who I love very much and I miss her as I haven't seen her for a while because of work. So please step aside so I can leave." He speaks to her calmly and tries not to be overly aggressive and harsh as she is quite young and apparently drunk. She gets out of his way disappointed and he starts walking towards the door but he stops and turns around "Oi!" The girl turns her head "Stop inviting random strangers to your house!" Then he leaves and gets into a cab to finally come home to you.

Yeonjun couldn't help but chuckle as he watched Y/N intently examining the price tag of a dress she'd been eyeing for the past ten minutes. They were out on one of their usual weekend shopping trips, a ritual that had become a cherished part of their relationship. Unlike his previous girlfriends, Y/N's simplicity and innocence had captivated him. She never asked for anything extravagant despite his financial stability, a trait that made her stand out in his eyes.
As Y/N reluctantly placed the dress back on the rack, Yeonjun playfully nudged her. "Why don't you get it? It looks like it was made for you," he suggested, but Y/N shook her head.
"No, it's okay. I'm sure I can find something just as nice for a better price," she replied, her voice laced with determination.
Yeonjun, however, wasn't one to give up so easily. With a mischievous glint in his eyes, he grabbed the dress. "Consider it a gift from me to you."
Y/N pouted, a mix of flattery and stubbornness in her expression. "You don't have to, Yeonjun. Really."
He just winked and headed to the cashier, leaving Y/N with a mixture of surprise and a reluctant smile.
Their relationship was filled with these small, playful moments. Yeonjun found Y/N's childlike innocence endearing, particularly in contrast to the more worldly ways of his circle. She often didn’t catch on to dirty jokes, which left her confused at the laughter of others, something Yeonjun found absolutely adorable.
One evening, they were all gathered at the TXT dorm with some of the ENHYPEN members, a casual hangout filled with laughter and chatter. Taehyun, in a moment of unfiltered openness, started sharing a rather intimate detail about his girlfriend's preferences. Yeonjun, aware of Y/N's presence, tried to interject.
"Hey, maybe we can keep this conversation a bit more... general?" he suggested, shooting Taehyun a look.
But Y/N's curiosity was already piqued. "What does that mean?" she asked, genuinely clueless.
The room erupted in laughter, and Yeonjun felt a protective surge. He didn't want her innocence tarnished by their less innocent conversations. However, he also admired her curiosity and openness, traits that made her unique in his eyes.
Seeing her confused face, Beomgyu chimed in, trying to divert the topic with his usual humor. "Oh, it's just Taehyun being Taehyun. Ignore him."
Yeonjun quickly joined in, hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere. "Yeah, let's talk about Hueningkai's new pet hamster instead. What did you name it again?"
The conversation shifted, much to Yeonjun's relief. He glanced at Y/N, who was now laughing at Hueningkai's story about his hamster's escape antics. Yeonjun felt a warm sense of affection for her. She was like a breath of fresh air in his life, her innocence and sincerity a stark contrast to the complicated world they lived in.
Soobin, noticing Yeonjun's fond gaze, nudged him playfully. "You're smitten, aren't you?"
Yeonjun just smiled, not denying it. "Can you blame me? She's one of a kind."
As the evening wore on, the group engaged in various activities, from playing video games to discussing music. Y/N's presence brought a certain lightness to the group, her laughter infectious and her joy palpable.
Later, as they walked back home, Yeonjun wrapped an arm around Y/N. "Did you have fun tonight?" he asked.
She nodded, her eyes bright. "I did. Your friends are crazy but in a good way. And I'm learning new things every day," she said with a laugh.
Yeonjun couldn't help but laugh along. "Yeah, they're a handful, but they're family. And I'm glad you're a part of it now."
Months into their relationship, Yeonjun and Y/N found themselves in a comfortable rhythm, their bond deepening with each passing day. One day, while lounging in the TXT dorm, Yeonjun brought up their upcoming anniversary.
"Soobin, did you realize it's been ten months since Y/N and I started dating?" Yeonjun asked, a note of disbelief in his voice.
Soobin, who was halfway through a video game, paused and turned to him. "Really? That's the longest you've ever dated someone, right?"
"Yeah," Yeonjun nodded, his mind wandering to Y/N. "I want to do something special to celebrate."
The day of their anniversary, Yeonjun had everything planned to perfection. He had booked a table at one of the city's most luxurious restaurants, a place he knew Y/N would love.
When Y/N arrived in the dress Yeonjun had bought for her, his breath hitched. She was a vision of elegance, a stark contrast to her usual cute and casual style.
"You look incredible, Y/N," Yeonjun managed to say, his eyes sparkling with admiration.
Y/N blushed, a shy smile playing on her lips. "Thank you, Yeonjun. You don't look so bad yourself," she teased, taking in his smart attire.
Dinner was a blend of delicious food, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. Yeonjun found himself more in love with her than ever, captivated by her charm and wit.
As they left the restaurant, Yeonjun reached for her hand. "Did you enjoy tonight?" he asked, his voice laced with hope.
Y/N squeezed his hand, her eyes shining. "It was perfect. Thank you for making our anniversary so special."
Back at Y/N's apartment, they settled onto the couch, a comfortable silence enveloping them. Then, to Yeonjun's surprise, Y/N leaned in and kissed him, her lips warm and inviting.
Yeonjun hummed in response, returning her kiss with equal fervor. The passion between them was palpable, a stark contrast to their usual playful exchanges.
Y/N then moved to sit on his lap, her hands finding their way into his hair. Yeonjun felt a shiver run down his spine, the intensity of the moment overwhelming him.
As she rolled her hips against him, Yeonjun's mind raced. This new, intimate side of Y/N was something he hadn't anticipated, yet he found himself completely drawn into the moment.
"Y/N," he breathed out, his voice a mix of surprise and desire.
She paused, looking into his eyes. "Is this okay?" she asked, a hint of vulnerability in her voice.
Yeonjun cupped her face gently, his eyes softening. "More than okay. I just didn't expect... you're full of surprises, aren't you?"
Y/N smiled, a playful glint in her eyes. "Maybe I am. Is that a problem?"
"No, not at all," Yeonjun replied, his heart racing. "It's just another reason why I love you."
As Y/N's eyes sparkled with love, she whispered, "I love you too, Yeonjun." Her voice was soft, yet filled with emotion. Leaning in, she kissed him once more, a tender and affectionate gesture that spoke volumes.
Yeonjun's hands tentatively traced the contours of her waist, hesitating momentarily as he contemplated their next move. Sensing his hesitation, Y/N gently sat back and, with a boldness that surprised them both, she gracefully removed her dress, revealing the delicate lingerie beneath.
Yeonjun's eyes widened in amazement. The sight of Y/N, confident and stunning, was a revelation. "Wow, Y/N, you're... incredible," he stammered, his gaze traveling over her defined hourglass figure.
Feeling suddenly shy under his intense gaze, Y/N instinctively covered herself with her arms. Yeonjun, however, gently grasped her wrists, guiding her arms away. "Don't hide. You're beautiful," he reassured her softly, his voice a soothing melody.
With a swift movement, Yeonjun unbuttoned his shirt, letting it fall to the floor. He then pulled Y/N closer, their bodies pressing together in a warm embrace.
Yeonjun lifted Y/N effortlessly, carrying her to the bedroom with care. As he laid her down on the bed, his eyes locked with hers, full of questions and concern.
"Are you sure about this, Y/N? I want to make sure you're comfortable with everything," he asked gently, his voice laced with sincerity.
Y/N gazed up at him, her eyes reflecting a mix of nerves and excitement. "Yes, I'm sure. I trust you, Yeonjun," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Yeonjun leaned down, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "We can go at whatever pace you're comfortable with. Just tell me if you need me to stop," he reassured her, his tone protective and caring.
Yeonjun and Y/N shared a look of deep understanding and connection, their eyes communicating more than words ever could. As Yeonjun leaned in, his lips tenderly explored her skin, kissing every sensitive area with a gentle reverence. He was acutely aware that this was Y/N's first time, and he was determined to make it as comfortable and memorable as possible for her.
His fingers, lips, and tongue worked in unison, creating a symphony of sensations that left Y/N breathless. He paused, looking into her eyes. "I'll be gentle and go slow, I promise," he whispered, his voice a soothing balm to her nervous heart.
Y/N's voice trembled slightly with apprehension. "Will it... will it hurt?" she asked, her eyes searching his for honesty.
Yeonjun nodded, not wanting to mislead her. "It might at first, but I promise it'll get better. Just let me know if you want to stop, okay?"
She shook her head, her resolve clear. "No, I don't want to stop. I trust you, Yeonjun."
He smiled reassuringly, his hand finding hers. "Squeeze my hand if it gets too much, alright? I'll slow down immediately," he said, placing his other hand beside her to steady himself.
As he carefully entered her, Y/N gasped sharply, her grip on his hand tightening. A soft whine escaped her lips, a mixture of surprise and discomfort.
Yeonjun showered her with praise, his voice gentle. "You're doing so well, Y/N. Just a little more, and I'll be all the way in."
With one final, careful push, he was fully inside her. Y/N's eyes welled up with tears, a few escaping down her cheeks. Yeonjun leaned in, kissing them away, his movements still and patient.
After a few minutes, Y/N gave a small nod, indicating he could move. He started slowly, mindful of her comfort.
Y/N's initial discomfort gradually gave way to pleasure, her body relaxing into the rhythm. Yeonjun's free hand massaged her thighs, encouraging her to relax. "Breathe deeply, Y/N. That's it, you're doing great," he encouraged, his voice a mix of praise and passion.
As Y/N's tension eased, her own sounds of pleasure began to fill the room. Yeonjun's movements became more confident, a little faster, eliciting small yelps of pleasure from her.
Feeling more comfortable, Y/N released his hand, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him closer. Yeonjun cursed softly, overwhelmed by the intensity of their connection.
"You're amazing, Y/N," he murmured against her skin, his pace quickening.
As they both neared their climax, Y/N called out his name repeatedly, signaling her impending release. Moments later, her back arched beautifully as she reached her peak, her legs wrapping tightly around his waist.
Just seconds after, Yeonjun reached his own climax, their breaths mingling in the aftermath of their intense connection. They lay there for a moment, catching their breath, basking in the closeness they had just shared.
Looking down at her, Yeonjun saw Y/N's childlike innocence return, her eyes wide and filled with a mixture of exhaustion and wonder. He chuckled softly, feeling a wave of affection wash over him.
"Let's get you cleaned up," he announced gently, lifting her in his arms and carrying her to the bathroom.
He took his time to clean her up, then fetched some comfortable clothes for both of them. After changing the sheets in the bedroom, they crawled into bed, cuddling close in a cocoon of warmth and affection.
The morning sun streamed through the window as Yeonjun lay awake, Y/N nestled against him, still lost in slumber. His mind replayed the previous night's events, a mix of amazement and fondness washing over him. He smiled at the thought of Y/N, his usually innocent girlfriend, taking the lead in their relationship's new territory.
Days later, Yeonjun invited Y/N to hang out with his bandmates. She greeted him with her characteristic enthusiasm, running towards him and leaping into his arms. Yeonjun, always quick on his feet, caught her effortlessly, lifting her in a warm embrace as his bandmates watched, some with amused smirks, others with affectionate grins.
As they all enjoyed a leisurely coffee together before heading to the arcade, Taehyun’s girlfriend observed Y/N's youthful and pure demeanor with a sense of wonder. Y/N, oblivious to the attention, was happily cuddling a plush toy that Yeonjun had won for her earlier.
Beomgyu couldn't resist teasing Yeonjun, "Look at her, Yeonjun. She’s like a walking ray of sunshine. How do you manage to keep up with that much adorableness?"
Yeonjun, his cheeks turning a shade of pink, replied with a sheepish grin, "What can I say? She's one of a kind. I wouldn’t change a thing about her."
Amidst the laughter and light-hearted conversation, Y/N leaned in close to Yeonjun, whispering something about 'cute lingerie and handcuffs.' Yeonjun’s eyes widened, his face turning a deep shade of red.
Soobin, noticing the sudden change in Yeonjun's demeanor, laughed heartily. "Oh no, Yeonjun, what did she say? Did we corrupt her too much?"
Yeonjun, struggling to find words, stuttered, "No, no, it's not like that... I mean, it's just Y/N being Y/N."
Hueningkai joined in, unable to resist the opportunity to tease Yeonjun further, "Come on, spill the beans, Yeonjun. What’s got you so flustered?"
Y/N, seemingly unaware of the commotion she had caused, looked around innocently. "Did I say something wrong? You all look so funny!"
The group burst into laughter, the atmosphere light and joyful. Taehyun’s girlfriend chimed in, "Y/N, you’re full of surprises! Yeonjun, you’ve got your hands full with this one."
As they continued their day at the arcade, the group basked in the lightheartedness of the moment. Y/N's innocent remarks and Yeonjun’s bashful reactions provided endless entertainment.
Later, as they sat down for a meal, the group continued to share jokes and playful banter, Yeonjun occasionally shooting Y/N an affectionate, albeit slightly embarrassed, glance. Amidst the laughter and teasing, Yeonjun couldn't help but feel a deep sense of happiness. Y/N, with her mix of innocence, spontaneity, and unexpected boldness, had brought a new dimension to his life, one that he cherished immensely.

8K words - Warnings for getting trapped, small spaces, and everything that comes with it + general trauma + injury - Gender-neutral reader
Enjoy! <3
-
You often put others' needs before your own.
Not that you noticed you did it. It took some pointing out from your close friends to get you to realize just how you swept your desires under the rug.
After god knows how much pushing, you agreed to go on a trip by yourself. "No work worries, no guys, no girls, just you and your alone time!" Your friend had said.
You sat in your living room with your laptop, browsing through destinations and flight tickets. Everyone seemed eager to see you go on the trip. At least, you hoped it was that. While you loved your friends, you worried that if you were not helpful somehow, they would drop you cold.
Were they happy for you or happy to see you go? You didn't know, but the trip could help that too. You wanted to be more independent, sure, and in tune with yourself.
Your eyes stop on an ad, and immediately you click it.
Skiing in the Rocky Mountains.
You smile. The cool crisp air may do you some good.
You book the ticket and the hotel for your stay, and as the week goes by, you pack your bags. You had gone on other trips throughout your life, of course, but this one felt a little different. Maybe because it'd be your first alone adventure in a long time, but whatever it was, you felt good about it.
The day before the trip, you say goodbye to your friends and head back to your house. Only 7 hours of sleep and a couple more of flight separated you from snow and, hopefully, a lot of fun.
The trip is easy enough. You get to your room at the hotel and unpack just enough to start exploring as soon as you could.
Groups of people gathered at the tourist stops choosing what they would be doing and booking activities for the day. Just as you reach the board, the ski equipment is fully booked for the day already.
You frown as a lady beside you nods. "Yup, all gone! I'm pissed as fuck too! You either bring your own or get here at the butt of the morning to rent equipment." She sighs. "I'm going on a hike. Make sure to leave your name in the equipment call, though. If somebody gives up, they should give you preference, it seems." She shrugs.
You nod, perking up and signing your name with the clerk's list, looking back at the girl again, "what hike did you choose?"
"Me? One of the easy ones, that one-," she points at the boards again. The list still had some spots left, "It's the longest of the easy ones, though. Thinking about joining?"
You nod, "Yeah, it's only my first day here. It sounds good enough for a first day," you say, picking up the pen and putting down your info on the list. The group would depart in 30 minutes, enough time to prepare for it.
"Nice! I'll see you at the meeting point later then!" She smiles and walks off. You smile at the clerk and head back to your room to pack your bag for the hike.
You pack your backpack with energy bars, the biggest water bottle you could find, the emergency first aid kit one of your friends gifted you, a hiking map you bought in the reception, a small emergency light, an emergency bivy, and an emergency blanket, just in case.
On your way down, you buy two sandwiches from a machine, along with a soup-filled thermos, stuffing them in your backpack before heading to the meeting spot.
You look around, searching for the lady you talked to earlier, wondering if she would make it in time.
She arrives 2 minutes before your departure, panting a bit but smiling at you, waving as she walks over. "Hey there, ready to freeze up there?"
"Definitely not." You two laugh as your guide speaks up, stating the hike rules and emergency tips. "And lastly, do not go anywhere alone. The hike is easy, but don't underestimate it! Safety is in numbers, always. Now, with all of that said, let's get hiking!"
The way up is slow. People chat quietly while they walk, taking pictures and generally marveling about the views, you included.
The wind is ice cold and makes your lungs feel a bit prickly when you breathe. Your cheeks are cold, a reminder that you were really there, enjoying a hike on a trip you made on your own. It makes you smile.
You're halfway up when your newfound friend approaches you again.
"So, you came by yourself?" The girl asks. You nod, "yeah, I thought I would do something different…what about you?"
"I travel alone all the time. First time here, though!" She smiles, "After I started going places alone, I just couldn't stop. It's way easier." She says. The guide announces your first stop to rest is just up ahead.
As most of the group sits down to eat and drink, you and your friend sit on a fallen log at the edge of the trail. You pull out one of your bars while she takes a few swigs of her water bottle.
You're laughing at her jokes when a crack calls your attention toward the trees.  You turn around to look, staring intently at the trees. Your friend’s gaze switches from you to the trees multiple times, “Bestie? You good?”
“Did you hear anything?” You ask her, still searching. The chatter from the rest of the group dies down as you strain to hear anything from the trees again. “It’s probably a squirrel or something.” She shrugs.
“I think that was too heavy to be a squirrel.” You say, hearing it again as you get up from the log, picking up your backpack. She does the same, “Okay….maybe it’s a huge squirrel or a deer?” She says, starting to sound worried as well.
The cracking sounds get louder and more violent before a strong gust of wind hits both of you. A big thundering sound follows it. You realize what’s happening all too late.
“Avalanche! Run!”
You both scream and make for it. The snow comes crashing down through the trees as you and your friend sprint through the trail, trying to catch up with the rest of the group. You look at the snow for a fraction of a second and slip.
You fall to the ground. You can barely hear any screaming over the falling snow’s booming noise. You scream and try getting up again, putting your hands up to shield yourself from the snow.
Another sound hits your ears before a blur launches itself toward you. The sound is blood-curdling, bone-chilling, roaring as loud as the snow coming for you. You feel the impact of said thing against your body, throwing you both off the edge. You hold onto it, whatever it was. Screaming and closing your eyes as you both flew over the edge.
He had seen it coming, of course. While his brothers and sisters went for the hottest countries on whatever planet they landed in. He loved the snow. He had over two centuries of experience with it.
He saw it coming.
You are as light as he thought you would be. He holds you and your backpack against his chest as you fall off the snowy ledge. The cord of his wrist gauntlet catches against the stone. He snaps it off as you both get launched into the cave underneath the ledge.
He lands hard on his feet, setting you down unceremoniously on the ground before rushing back to the cave entrance. The snow rages violently over as it falls from the edge, washing over anything in its way. He had been using this cave for a few days now. He knew this could happen. Would happen.
Still, he needed to close the entrance.
The snow piles and pushes inside the cave. He aims his blaster toward the entrance’s ceiling and shoots, jumping over to your side as the stones crash down, stopping the snow from burying you both alive as he shields your body from the falling rocks.
It’s too much. You cry and scream while keeping your face on the floor, hands shielding your head as the booming noises of cracking trees, snow, and falling rocks make your heart pound in every which way inside your ribcage. You get dragged closer by the man who saved you, and you hug the thigh he was crouching on the ground with, sobbing into it as you wait for the nightmare to be over.
It feels like hours. It probably is hours long until the wreckage comes to a stop. You still hear the avalanche layers settling on top of the cave and its would-be entrance. The cave is pitch black. You can’t see a palm in front of your face. All you hear is your ragged breathing and the man’s -somehow- calm one. His is heavier, although slower than yours. he was big, you were sure he was from the blur you saw standing there before the rocks fell. His breathing had a dragging sound to it, a soft ‘ch ch ch’ that made your hairs stand on end. Oh God, what if he was asthmatic?
“I- I think we’re okay now-” You say. He doesn’t reply. “Sir, are you hurt? Oh God-” You panic, patting around the floor for your bag, scooting away from him until you find it. “I’ve got a light in here. God, I hope it’s not broken!” You take a deep breath and try to remember where you placed it, counting the small bags on the front before reaching the fourth one. You pull its zip and reach for the light. The thick, now wet, gloves you wear make the metal almost slip from your grasp.
“Please turn on, please turn on,” You pray as you push the button, successfully illuminating the wall in front of you. “Yes! Okay, now we can-” You turn around, looking for the man,
Finding something else entirely.
It’s bigger than any man you’ve ever known in your life. Its skin is of a blueish hue with black mottling. It has protrusions that remind you of a hedgehog’s quills up its forearms, chest, and the sides of its face. It wore a mask along with dense-looking armor that looked battle-worn. Its chest heaved the same slow and steady breathing, making the quills drag against the black netting it wore.
Your pupils dilate in dread as you perceive it whole. Your body freezes. Your breath hitches.
And you faint.
The light falls from your hand as your body hits the floor. Your backpack acts as a hard pillow as the world darkens and comes to a stop.
He watches as you turn into stone and pass out on your equipment, and only then does he move toward you. He grabs the small light you produced from your pack and turns it off with the click of a button, careful not to break it. He did not need light, not as long as he had his mask (even if he didn’t, if he was honest), and not as long as you were unconscious.
‘Might as well save its power.’ He thinks.
He takes a quick check over your form. Bruising was sure to occur. Your ankle was sprained, also expected. All in all, everything is fine. He’s glad about that.
Now, for air.
He stands up and walks to the entrance again. While it wasn’t safe to leave the cave while the layers were still loose, and with the temperatures dropping outside, your chances of survival were low, even if his weren’t. But being wholly shut in wouldn’t do either, especially with your panicked breath. Screaming requires air. Lots of it.
He stretches his palm over the cold stone, feeling around. A few well-placed holes would do well enough. Stepping back, his aim shines over the stone once more.
Adjusting the width of each blast, he lasers perfect circles scattered on the wall. The snow outside melts, and fresh, cold air drifts in through the holes before more snow covers them once more. He reaches for his back pocket, retrieving several silver rings, and places them into the holes in the stone. Adjusting the desired length of each ring before pressing a button, he watches the holograms expand on his gauntlet until they surpass the snow outside. He checks each tube, satisfied when air flows steadily through all of them.
He turns back to you and walks over.
He couldn’t say what made him save you. He had been hunting in the mountains. He did see you and your group going up. But why did he risk himself to save you? He didn’t know. He found himself clutching the tree he was perched on when the snow went down, even though he would have been safe. He leaped before you fell to your knees in the snow.
Crouching down, he takes a second to look at your face.
You groan, and he sits down, moving back to give you some space. You look around, seeing the thin light streaks coming from the wall. You look a bit to the side and squint, spotting the one figure you hoped was a dream.
A scream rips from your throat as you panic once more, almost crushing your light in the process. You back up into the nearest wall and point your light at him, turning it on again. “What are you?! What-!”
It’s a strange creature, half man and half… something else. You had no idea what.
He lifts his hands up, and you grasp your light firmly as if it were a gun. “Don’t move-! Stay there! Who are you? What do you want?!” You ask. Demand.
You hear audio shuffling before a distorted, “Easy…- Easy…” reaches your ears. You recognize the voice. Your instructor, the line spoken to the whole group while going through a particularly slippery part of the trail that morning. “What-...What are you? You’re not a man-, who are you?” You ask desperately.
He shakes his head, and you want to cry harder, though he didn’t answer your second question. “Am I dead?” You sob. He shakes his head again and slowly points to the door.
“-..-Thick S̴̨̛̛̞͉̗̜̦̘̤̤̱͉͖͒̍̑̆̑͆̃̕n̴̡̳̖͕̹̞͎̝̞͂̿̀̾̏̈̈́́͝ơ̸̝̣̓̔̾͊̈́̇̇̋̎̓͜͝w-.”
You sniffle, not peeling your eyes from him. “Are you going to hurt me? Please don’t-” He doesn’t reply, slowly lowering his hands again. You start to get nervous again before he points to the corner of the cave. Hesitantly, you cast the light to it, seeing the glint of the metal-like cord he had used to save you both. Your eyes widen as you try to remember the quick flashes of the occurred. You fell. The snow was coming. Something caught you, held you, and you fell over the edge. The light moves back to his form. “It was you-, so you saved me, okay-, but why?”
Again, no reply.
The tears form cold, stiff streaks on your cheeks as you try to wipe them with the back of your gloves. You look around the cave. It wasn’t that big. You doubted you could stand up fully inside it, let alone someone as big as your…new friend. He had taken care of the air supply, but you weren’t properly trained for this. You feared you wouldn’t last until the morning. Not like this.
“You-, you made the holes in the walls, right? Can’t you get us out?” You ask him. He shakes his head. “Safer-...Here.”
“How is it safer here? We’re buried to our necks in-...Snow.” He nods.
“Snow is a good insulator, right?” He nods again. “Right…So you’ll get us out in the morning?” He doesn’t reply. “I’ll take that as a hopeful yes.” You say, setting your light down in the middle of the cave, pointing at the ceiling, illuminating the space the best it could.
You open your backpack and set to planning your night here. You see your phone and gasp, trying to get it. No signal.
You sigh as you look at the rest of your pack. You had your blanket, emergency bivy, and food and water were also fine. Nothing got broken during your rescue, thankfully.
You take a look at your companion to find him also going through his own pack, though his equipment looked far different than yours. They almost seemed like…weapons.
Oh, God.
“Do you come here often?” You ask. His head snaps at you. You freeze.
He shakes his head, and you sigh in relief. “You don’t…hunt people, right?”
He keeps staring. You wish you hadn’t asked. “Innocent people? You hunt innocent people?” Perhaps it was the trauma, the ice, the pain, or the sheer chaos of the situation you found yourself in. But judging an alien creature wasn’t as impossible as you thought it’d be. “Hunters- -Like me.” His mask croaks.
Your eyebrows shoot up. “You hunt…other hunters? Human ones or, like, -really- like you? People like you?”
“-Like me.” He repeats.
“Your own species? Like a cop?”
A few seconds pass before you hear your own voice. “Like a cop.” Your eyes widen more. “So you’re a space cop, got it…Then what are you doing here on Earth? And in the -snow- of all places?”
A strange sound comes from him. A scoff.
“Vaca̶̤͔͚͌̃͝ͅtion timee̷̛͖̬͙̞̞̯͙͉͓̓́̈́̀̚e̴̛̞͎͆̀͂̉̎̂͘̕͠͝e-” A young girl’s voice followed by laughter.
You find yourself laughing nervously at the audio. A soft laugh that makes him tilt his head slightly. “Me too.” You say, “Ironically enough.”
You set out your equipment in silence before you unwrap your first sandwich. You look at your watch. 3 PM. Nice time to have a heavier snack, then you could eat the bars until the night and then eat your soup. And you’d still have your second sandwich!
Your…second sandwich.
“Hey.” You look at him again. He looks up from organizing his gear. “Do you have any food in that pack of yours? I have an extra one here.” You lift the wrapped sandwich to show him.
He seems to consider before giving you a dismissive hand gesture, going back to his fiddling.
“I have plenty here,” You say. “I don’t think…someone as big as you shouldn’t go too long without eating something.” He looks at you again. His mask moves slightly. You weren’t sure if he was really looking at your hand or not.
“It’s just a turkey sandwich, are you vegetarian?” You ask, worried, for some reason. He makes a strange sound. Clicking and huffing came from his mask. Was he laughing?
“Look, to me, you’re a carnivore -at least- but I can’t be too sure, right? You’re the first…alien I know.”
He shakes his head. “Not-, Vegetarian.”
You nod, digging around your backpack for the other sandwich before tossing it to him. The speed with which he catches it is impressive enough. You blink, and his hand moves from the ground to beside his mask, catching the sandwich.
He eyes it as you eat your own. For a second, you wonder if he’s allergic to anything in it. You’re about to ask when he moves again, sitting with his back turned to you.
You frown in confusion as he sets the sandwich down on his thigh before starting to take the mask off.
Each pop it makes has your eyes widening impossibly more. With everything that happened, you forgot the mask wasn't his -face-.
He sets the mask down, its impassive expression staring at you from the floor while he picks up the sandwich again, unwrapping it.
You wondered what he looked like without it. It felt too rude to ask. Maybe he wanted to remain anonymous from you.
Maybe the light hurt his eyes. Maybe he didn’t want to scare you.
Maybe he was just -shy-.
The clicking sound- now much louder and clear, calls your attention back to reality. You watch as he apparently throws the whole sandwich into his mouth, if he really had one, and swallows it whole.
If he chewed it, you didn’t hear it. But you do hear the biggest ‘gulp’ of your life coming from him.
You jump a little bit when he picks up the mask again, snapping the tubes back on and turning around again.
You finish eating your own food and put the trash in your bag. "I need something I can…call you- you know, other than alien? That feels rude.”
He shakes his head, and you lick your cold lips in thought. “How does Storm sound? I don’t think ‘Avalanche’ is any good.” You shrug, taking a swig from your water bottle. “I don’t think I should mention this to anyone, right?”
He nods. You purse your lips again, “Look- I know the less contact between us the better, and I definitely shouldn't be asking these questions- but if I don't talk I think I'll go insane."
Storm crosses his arms, seemingly in thought before he says a simple, firm, "Yes."
"...Are there more alien species? Do you know them? Seen any?"
"Yes. -Yes….Yes."
"Wow." You whisper to yourself. "You're the most amazing and intense thing that ever happened to me…besides the avalanche, of course."
He relaxes, shifting a bit to sit against the stone wall. You do the same, resting against your pack. "Our government must know of you- are we friends? Our people?"
He shakes his head. You sag. "Oh…that sucks" Storm tilts his head, and a series of cut audios gather your attention again. "Government- sucks."
You laugh. His shoulders shake slightly. Maybe he was laughing as well?
"This wasn't what I had in mind when I came here, but I'm glad you're here. Thank you for saving me," you say. He stares at you before nodding slowly.
You smile and look at his pack on the floor, "Hey, do you have water? I have some if you want." He shakes his head and pulls out a metal bottle from one of the pouches on his back. A canteen?
“Do you want to lay out our things? We could see what we have and how we’re going to split it until tomorrow. I know the first rule is overpacking is good but…I don’t reeeally have that much,” you let out a nervous laugh.
He takes a second and stands on his knees. He is almost as tall as you'd be standing like that. He gathers his pack and throws it closer to you while he moves over.
You stare at him for a couple of seconds before the mask slowly turns to you. “Oh-, right, sorry- you’re just- okay never mind- So, I got my light, of course-, I got some energy bars, water, a map, a bivy, a blanket, a knife, a little emergency kit, and soup! Well-, more food if you can’t translate that.” You hold up the thermos like it was a prized trophy, "what do you got?"
He starts laying his own things out.
A dagger, cuffs of some kind, knives, a -whip-, the canteen he had shown you earlier, mini orbs that suspiciously looked like smoke bombs from movies, plus other things- probably weapons too, you had no idea the use of. And last, but not least, he offers you a jar.
You put yours down and hold his. The lid is not nearly as simple as yours, it has a mechanism on top of it. You frown in confusion before he snorts and presses two buttons on top of it.
The lid fizzes, and you gasp, looking up at him. He nods, and you slowly take it off, placing it on top of your blanket. The smell hits your nose, and you look at him again. "Jerky? Oh my God-, can I?" He nods.
You carefully take a strip of meat from the jar. "What kind of meat is this? This isn't…human, right?" You gulp. He shakes his head and lifts his wrist. His gauntlet shows a hologram of a deer.
"Ohhhh, wow, you're really a hunter, aren't you?" You marvel, putting the strip back in the jar before closing it again. Storm taps the same buttons, and it seals tight again.
You place the jar on the floor along with everything else. The contrast between your equipment and his is stark. You laugh a bit. "Well, aren't we made for each other?" He snorts as you check your watch.
You look up and find his mask very close to you, also looking at your watch. "It's not as fancy as yours," you laugh, holding your wrist up for him to see.
Being this close, you feel your face heat up. You look down at his torso when he gently grabs your wrist, inspecting it closer. "You- are you not um- cold? You're not exactly ah…layered up."
He did wear some fur around his shoulders and waist, but other than that, only the netting and some armor. He does the clicking sound again- chuckling?
The hand on your wrist firms it while the other pops your glove open, pulling it up and off your hand. You jerk a bit when he pulls the naked hand to his chest. "Oh- what-...Oh."
Hot. He is hot. Literally.
You can't tell if the netting is heated or if he's just a furnace. But he's incredibly warm. Your fingers twitch as you concentrate on the feel of his skin. It wasn't like yours, that was for sure. It was almost rubbery, and hot but texturized as well. It was…well, alien. The prickly quills he had also were interesting to stare at.
What a Tarzan moment.
You take your hand back, putting your glove on again, "I'm jealous of that temperature. Even with all these layers, I'm still cold," you frown, "your planet must be scorching hot," you say.
He takes a while but nods.
He didn't exactly like sharing information, you learned. It was fair, he saved you- and he was an alien. Things were complicated. "I think you look great here though, in the snow," The glove feels cold compared to what you just experienced.
He scoffs, crossing his arms as you think about the events of today over and over again before looking at him once more. "Do you have any family?" The question hits you like a train and blurts out of your mouth before you could filter it. "I mean- if you can tell me."
He nods, and your eyebrows go up in surprise. Not that you thought he wouldn't have one. He had a belly button, so he couldn't have just…spawned from somewhere. You smile at the mental image of him just popping into existence.
You look back at your equipment, especially at the food. "Look, I know we're on 'not too much involvement' thing, but you don't have to turn away every time to eat. I won't tell anyone- though I'm sure the government must have blurry pictures of others like you in their archives somewhere already."
He's closer to you than before, having not moved away since your little touching moment. His presence is as grounding as it is exciting. It makes you alert and awake, even though you're so tired.
Storm's mask turns to you slightly, considering.
"Scary."
You frown. "Scary? Your face is scary? But your mask is so…familiar? Is it too different from it?"
He nods again.
"Oh- well, I won't be afraid of you, you saved my life, and now we're here chatting and having an icy picnic covered in snow. I'd say this makes us best friends." You smile. He huffed.
What he does instead is lift his wrist gauntlet again. Another hologram pops up.
"Ohhhhh my-" You look back up at his mask. Its cold expression almost mocks you. "Okay, you weren't lying when you said it was different- why do you guys make it like that? You know what- that's none of my business, sorry." You look back at the hologram.
While you didn't know if it was really him- the hologram was all red-, the way their faces were just…made sense. The tusks, the teeth, the mandibles. You marvel at the quills on the eyebrows, just like they were on the rest of him.
Something must have been wrong with you, but you didn't think he was ugly.
"I get the scary part. I'd freak out if I saw you in the dark, no offense." He chuckles deeply, the most you've seen him laugh so far. You smile again. "Thanks for showing me, now I won't pass out on you again if you take it off." He shuts it off. You almost made a sad noise at it.
Suddenly, all the excitement takes a toll on you. With your last burning curiosity sated, your eyes begin to get heavier. "Okay, I think the adrenaline is starting to wear off." You say. "I think I'm going to sleep a bit."
He gets up, checking the air supply tubes in the stone. You worm your way into your bivy, leaving the blanket for him if he needs it. He probably wouldn't, but the thought eased you. "Wake me up if anything changes okay?" You say. He doesn't react. You take a painkiller and lay down again.
"...and please don't leave me here alone." You say, with a little more emotion than you anticipated.
He turns his head and nods before going back to his inspection.
You close your eyes for a second.
Just a second.
You jolt awake when a hand closes around your shoulder. You blink several times, breathing in deeply as you focus on the mask before you again. "Hey- anything changed?"
Storm shakes his head, pointing at your watch instead as you sit up. You check the time. 7:15 PM. Your ice cave definitely feels colder now.
You get up, taking your soup thermos out of the bag. Its lid made for a little bowl. You prayed it was still warm.
You sigh in relief as you pour the soup on the lid. It was lukewarm, but the warmth spreading through your torso was priceless. You're on your second sip when you hear the same fizzy noise as before. Your eyes darted to your side where Storm was taking his mask off.
You gulp as the second tube is snapped off. He's facing forward as he's sitting beside you. But still, you would see it.
You tip the cup back as you swallow your third sip, hoping the thick plastic would disguise your blatant staring.
Storm's fingers slip under the metal, snapping it briefly before lifting it from his face. Your breath quickens quietly as your eyes follow the metal until it's placed on the floor. You stare at it before slowly looking back up.
Storm is looking at you.
Your eyes dilate as you take in every aspect of his face. The mandibles, the tusks, the sharp teeth peeking from behind tightly closed tusks. The blue hue from his body painted his face, fading into a cool white tone in the middle of his face. The edges of his head are shaped like a crown. A black crown that closed into the middle of his head, where the blues and whites were.
And then the eyes. His eyes.
Unlike the rest of him, Storm’s eyes were yellow. Deep, electric yellow. The primal instinct in your brain told you this was wrong. His face was wrong. Well, he wasn’t human. You were coded to think anything with different features walking on two legs was weird.
Your brain told you to run, scream or get help, to do something -against- him while the rest of you knew well that he was an ally. It was hard to go against every fiber of your being and stay still.
‘He’s still your friend.’ You think. ‘He just looks a little different.’
Storm’s expression changes, and while you can’t grasp what the tusk movements must mean yet, you surely know what a skeptical eyebrow raise looks like. “I’m not freaking out, I swear.” You manage to say. You have no idea if he still understands you without the mask.
He seems to, as his top tusks twitch and his eyebrows relax. He looks away and grips his own jerky jar. You’re suddenly reminded of your soup. You pour more soup onto the lid, gulping it down while trying your best not to openly stare at him.
It’s evident he’s also trying to ignore you while he eats. His tusks part and he inserts the chunks of jerky in. You can’t see any molars in your ogling. Maybe he was made for tearing out chunks of food and swallowing them like a crocodile?
You gulp down more of your soup until it’s down to half of it. You shake the thermos a bit, doing your best to stir the soup before leaning it toward him. “Would you like some?” To your surprise, he’s also offering you his jar. You smile, nodding, “Let’s swap.”
You trade bottles, picking out a piece of jerky while he brings the thermos closer to his mouth. He didn’t have an apparent nose, but maybe he just smelled things differently. He must have deemed it good enough for his mandible part, and he tips his head back, drinking the soup. You half expected it to spill over and make a mess, but having done this for however long he had lived, he knew what he was doing.
You, on the other side, had no idea what you’d do without your lips.
After eating your fill and re-packing, you huddle close to him. Storm messed with his wrist gauntlet as you lost yourself in your thoughts once more. For once in your life, the silence was comfortable. Sure, you couldn’t exactly communicate, but that didn’t feel like a problem.
You could communicate with your friends and family, but it still made you anxious at times. Next time you check your watch, it's about 9 PM. “I think we should sleep,” you say, getting his attention once more. “I’ve slept a bit and…fainted, but you haven’t slept yet.”
Seeing him without the mask was as otherworldly as it was interesting. Seeing his expressions as he listened to you, then changing while he thought before finally setting as he nodded.
You smile and crawl back to your bivy while he checks the air supply once more. You had no idea how you would get out of the cave tomorrow, but you trusted Storm and his high-tech equipment. And his muscles. The muscles were a big plus, too.
By the time he turns around, you’re inside your bivy, but you point to the blanket folded neatly on top of your backpack. “I know you’re well warm, but the blanket is over there if you need it.” He looks at it briefly before nodding at you. He hands you your emergency light and lays down on the opposite side of the cave, about two arm's lengths away from you.
“Good night, partner.” You say before shutting the light off, getting a grunt in return.
The cave was pitch black as you expected. You shuffle a bit in your bivy before settling down completely on your side. You wondered how people outside were doing. Did the avalanche make the news? Did your friends know? Was anyone else hurt during it? You were thankful to be alive, thankful for Storm, but you felt bad for everyone else.
Tears prickled in the corners of your vision as you try so hard to fall asleep. It’s cold, you’re trapped in a cave with an alien. Not that Storm was a negative point. You’d be dead without him. But things were far from okay right now.
You hear shuffling and wonder if Storm also has trouble sleeping. He’d been calm so far, never raising his voice or panicking. ‘Maybe he’s used to these situations.’ You think, given the scars he bears on his body. You didn’t want to think of what could hurt someone like Storm.
Your chest feels tight. It’s hard to push the anxiety down. You almost want to talk to him again, but what would you say? What -could- you say? You were the one to suggest sleeping in the first place. Your heart beats faster, and you’re awfully aware of your surroundings, even in the dark.
The walls are cold and wet. The air is a little stale. You can smell yourself as you can also smell Storm behind you. You can smell the thick rubbery scent of your gloves as they grip the bivy’s lining with all they got. Like you had gripped Storm earlier that day when he rescued you.
You swallow dryly, trying to breathe in and out to avoid negative thoughts. Things would be okay. You were alive, fairly warm, and you had a big alien as your personal bodyguard through a disaster. You hear more shuffling. The sound of the emergency blanket being unfolded hits your ears. You wait a couple of seconds, eyes darting around in the dark before you open your mouth to ask him if he was okay.
You’re in the middle of breathing your first word when you feel the blanket getting laid on top of your bivy. Storm smooths out the blanket on top of you before laying down again, closer to you this time. You’re at loss for words. Your mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water.
You feel his breath against the top of your beanie, so his chest must be somewhere in front of you now. You bite your lip, feeling the knot in your chest loosen the tiniest bit. You were not alone. Things were going to be okay.  You focus on his breathing pattern, so even and calm. Constant. The sound his tusks occasionally make is soothing over the deathly silence of the cave. You don’t remember closing your eyes, nor do you remember falling asleep.
The way your bladder burns wakes you up. Storm’s breathing is heavier now, asleep. It pains you to move, like getting your pet out of your lap after it finally got comfortable.
As soon as you move, his breathing stops. Then resumes in that light, calculated rhythm. Awake.
“Sorry, sorry,” you whisper, worming out of your bivy, patting around for your light. You go to the far corner of the cave and do your business, covering it with loose dirt with your boot, thanking the universe Storm didn’t move an inch from where he was.
Taking your pants off in the unbelievable cold of a 3 AM shut-in ice cave was no easy business. Curse bodily functions to the end and back. You do your best to push the burning shame down and head to your backpack, sanitizing your hands.
You steal a glance to your side while you think, catching Storm looking directly at you. Your spine shivers a bit, a mix from the cold and his gaze. You take another sip of water and crawl back into your bivy, mindful of your ankle.
It makes your face heat up more to see how close he’s been to you for all these hours and how he doesn’t care enough to move away, even now that you disrupted him awake.
You lick your lips and clutch your light, looking at him again before shutting it off. Your face is still hot from all of it, but you listen intently to his breathing and clicking. You hoped he wouldn’t move away from you just yet, at least until you fell asleep.
You feel the warmth coming from his chest, moving your head forward so you could be closer to it, trying to chase away the rest of the cold from your suit again. That pee break cost you some precious degrees.
You’re still sulking internally when he finally moves. Your eyes widen in the dark as he spreads the blanket over you again. You smile and close your eyes, only to open them again as widely as before when you feel his arm drape over you.
He grunts, and suddenly you’re being dragged forward by that same arm. Your forehead hits something, and you instantly know it's his chest. You swallow hard. It’s as hot as it was earlier, rumbling with each breath.
“Warm.” He croaks. You shiver at how deep his real voice is. You nod fervently against his chest. The arm stays around you.
It takes you several minutes of internal struggle to calm down again. Your face is hotter, both from your embarrassment and his body temperature. Your ears turn back on when you hear a faint noise.
You squint, leaning in closer, and the sound gets louder.
His heartbeat.
Your body relaxes, almost melting against him.
His arm tightens the tiniest bit around you. You press your cheek against his chest, feeling his mandibles graze against the top of your beanie.
The rest of the night goes by too fast for your liking.
He wakes you up at 7 AM sharp. You almost want to cry when you realize the arm is no longer holding you, that his heartbeat is not against your ear still.
He packs his equipment, and so do you, leaving only the map out. “We were here yesterday.” You say, pointing at the map. “The hotel is here, and I think the equipment stall is here?” You felt like you were explaining your destination to a taxi driver.
You look up at him. He’s masked and ready to leave. So are you.
“How are we going to do this? Or, well, how you’re going to do this?” You ask. Storm makes a punching motion toward the stone. You almost can’t believe your very eyes. “Oh.”
Storm retracts the tubes and puts them away in one of his bags. This was it.
You stand at the side as Storm readies himself. He pushes some buttons on his gauntlet. You brace yourself as it makes a firing-up noise.
Storm steadies himself and times the punch with the gauntlet’s blast.
You close your eyes at the noise, protecting your head with your hands before you’re snatched from the ground once more.
You open them again when blinding light covers your eyelids. Everything is white as your eyes adjust. When colors flood your vision, you realize that not only you’re out of the cave but you’re in the air. Everything moves too fast.
Storm holds you up as he lands harshly in the snow piled below between trees. You shake the snow off your face as he works you both out of the thick snow bank. He squats again, and you hold tightly onto his neck before he jumps once more.
You struggle not to scream this time as well.
Storm lands firmly onto the snowy forest floor. He places you down gently as he surveys the area before relaxing once more. You look around, looking at the mountainside, following the trail of broken rocks until you see the cave's would-be entrance, quickly getting topped with more falling snow. “We were there?” You ask, out of breath. Storm nods. You turn to him. “Good legs.” You compliment. He huffs behind the mask.
You feel buzzing coming from your backpack, frowning in confusion before you remember your phone. Placing the pack on the floor, you quickly check it, watching as the multiple messages and missed calls finally load into your screen. You smile, choking on your breath before looking at Storm again.
You avoid your hurting ankle as you surge forward and wrap your arms around him again. He barely moves, not stepping back or stopping you. His hands hesitate at his sides before coming up and resting them on your shoulders, pressing you against him once before letting go.
You look up at him, seeing him at full height in daylight felt unreal. “Thank you so much. I owe you everything. You saved me. You had no obligation to, but you did. Thank you so much.” You bury your face into his chest again, feeling it rumble. You smile before he tenses up, and you both hear the helicopter sound from far away.
You let him go, looking up at the sky before looking back at him. Your heart tore into pieces. “You can go now.” The tears sting your eyes. “I’ll be fine from here.” He looks back at you.
“I’ll never forget you.” You sob, “Thank you again, for everything.”
The helicopter gets closer. You watch as he disappears in front of your very eyes. The blue skin and armor blend with the snow and trees behind him before the reflective figure jumps up one tree to another, and another, until you lose track of it in the distance.
Cold tears slide down your face as you hobble your way to a clearing, throwing your arms up when the helicopter comes into view.
The rest of the day goes by too slowly for your liking.
You’re taken back to the hotel, where a makeshift hospital has been set up. You’re asked questions, to which you reply either ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I was buried in the snow all night’. You text your friends and relatives back while your ankle is tended to. You see the hiking girl from yesterday when you’re getting cleared from IV hydration hours later.
She screams in surprise, coming to hug you. ‘How did you make it?! Oh my God, we thought you were dead! I’m so happy to see you!” She cries, and so do you. After talking for a while, she shakes her head. “I’m cutting the damn trip -short-. I’m going the fuck home, and so should you. The flights are crazy, but there’s a company giving preference to the victims and their families.” She informs you.
One hour later, she hugs you one last time before leaving.
You do as she says, cutting the trip short as well, needing to process and recover from everything that happened. You’re promised heaven on earth by the hotel and the flight companies for future trips. Your friends scoff at the very thought of it. “Why the hell would you go back there? That’s insane of them to offer you packages like that.” One of them says.
You nod along the next few weeks until things slowly blend into normality again. You don’t tell anyone about what happened that night, and people don’t bother you about it. You look at your bag in your wardrobe every time you open it, thinking back to him, wondering if he also thought about you.
Six months of this go by. Followed by another six months.
One day, you open your wardrobe and pull your bag out again, dusting it for your trip. People worry about your decision of going back there. Some worry it might reopen wounds rather than closing them for good like you told them it would. Some others just thought you were crazy.
Crazy or not, you packed your bag and left. The flight took off and landed. You found yourself at the hotel, looking at the same clerk in the eyes again while she checked you in again, welcoming you back to the hotel.
You look at the hiking lists, finding them slightly different, but still running. You check in for solo hiking.  You pack your bag accordingly this time, filled with all the necessities a survivor could need before you take off.
The forest is peaceful, and the track is fresh beneath your boots. You’re enjoying soup fondly at the end of the track when you hear that noise. The rumbly, clicking noise that you heard in your dreams for the past year. Always followed by the steady sound of a strong heartbeat.
You turn around, smiling when blue hues and armor flood your vision once more. ----------- If you read it till here, you're a champ lmao
Thanks for reading <3 muah muah

𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 summary: After so long, you finally take the step. Note: I hope the fandom of The Maze Runner is not dead because yesterday I watched the movie and my fandom that was buried and gathering dust deep inside me, finally came out again, but I hope I'm not the only one. xoxo
Tumblr media
At the beginning, when you arrived, you couldn't deny the fact that you were a little scared for being the only girl among so many teenage boys. Going through a place and feeling some gazes on you was uncomfortable, flirting (or attempts to) were unbearable, but you were lucky to be part of the best group on the glade, your favorite boy in it, Minho. He spent most of his time in the maze but whenever he came back the first thing he did was make sure you were okay and didn't have any trouble with any slimy boy. Your best friend… best friend. "What's up today, are you idiots or what, every five seconds some idiot gets hurt" you sighed "and you guys leave all the work to me" you looked accusingly at Clint and Jeff. "Why do you think they come? They all want you to attend to them, you're the only girl" the second mentioned says obviously. "You are disgusting" you turned around to continue organizing the table with the materials and remedies that you have. The noise of the door made with branches or whatever Gally used, was heard opening and you couldn't take it anymore "for God's sake stop being so stupid and be more careful or I'll have Clint start healing you" You turned around to see who had entered. "Shunk, I never really liked Clint" his voice sounds tired but playful. "Minho! what happened to you?" You analyzed everything you could about his clothes, a bruise on his right cheekbone, a cut on his eyebrow, and his lips somewhat dry and pale. Still, he was the most handsome boy you had ever seen. "The maze, I just tripped, nothing to worry about" he said "but I really would like you to heal me, not Clint" you both chuckled. "You are my exception" you grabbed a couple of gauze pads and alcohol to disinfect. You were standing between his legs, even so, his faces were at the same height since he was sitting on some kind of stretcher, the distance was very short, your body was completely bristling. Your gaze and his meet when you finish putting the band-aid on his eyebrow, you don't really know how to react when you feel Minho's hands on your waist, and even less when you feel his lips on yours. Without hesitation, although very nervous, you followed the kiss passing both of your arms around his neck, Minho pressed you more against him, he was perfect, the situation was perfect, everything was perfect. At this moment you didn't care about being the only girl, being locked up with murderous bugs and a little labyrinth around you, having forgotten everything about your past life, because now you had him and it was the best thing that could happen to you. Your lips collided very well, your saliva mixing with his at that moment seemed the hottest thing in the whole world. "If that's how you start treating your patients, they'll line up" Clint's voice came from behind him. "And I'll kick your asses one by one if you just look at her" Minho's voice sounded loud, mad, rude, Clint just raised his hands scared and left. You couldn't help but kiss his cheek and laugh a little "if you're like that to protect me, I'll make you jealous more often" you kissed him again. "You don't know how long I waited for this moment" he said between kisses, which each time became more passionate and needy. "Oh god Minho" you blurted out after feeling his hands squeeze your butt, kissing your neck. "Say my name like that one more time and I'll fuck you right here, right now” My God, the real man.

𖤐Summary: After the phone call about Heidi being able to come to the high school, Y/n starts to get a little worried that her daughter might get bullied by the older kids
————
Tumblr media
————
"Heidi, baby, do you have everything?" Y/n asked, bending down to her daughter and fixing her daughter's shirt.
"Meine liebe (my love) leave our baby girl alone, she's in high school, now," König tells her.
"Oh hush, König, you'd be worried too."
"Mama, I need to go in," Heidi says, she starts walking into the big school, the older kids looked at Heidi and immediately started to talk about her, laughing and pointing at her.
"King...I'm worried."
"I know, liebe (love) I am too, I'm worried about our little girl," he holds Y/n's arms puling her closer to his side.
Heidi walked to the office and had gotten her schedule from the lady sitting down behind the counter.
"You must be Heidi King, the rumors were true, we have a child genius in the building," she slightly giggles at her.
"Where is the science lab?" Heidi asked the lady.
"Down the hall, pass the computer lab and it's the first door on your left," she smiles down at Heidi. Heidi walks out of the office tries to follow the ladies directions.
She saw the computer lab and found the science lab with no problem, she sees the older kids all laugh and joke around before class started. She goes to the front desk placing her backpack on the desk and grabbing a notebook from her bag.
Heidi opened the book to the first empty page and started to write the date.
"Hey is that a child?"
"Why is there a child in here?"
"Who knows?"
"Go introduce yourself to her, Maddie."
"Heidi?" She looks up and saw the teacher.
"Yes, ma'am?"
"Oh good, good morning, I'm Mrs.Vasel, your homeroom teacher." She slides a paper towards Heidi letting her look at it. "This is the first assignment, sorry to drop it on you immediately." She smiles.
"It's okay," Heidi says.
-------
Y/n was biting her thumbnail worried like a mother should be. König looked at his wife sitting in the passenger seat.
"Liebe (love) she will be okay, and if not, I'm not scared to fight some teenagers," König says.
"But I don't want my husband to go to jail," Y/n says, placing her hand on his chin.
"She'll be just fine," he says, taking her hand and kissing her knuckles.
-------
Heidi held her pencil in her hand and was filling out every answer, she didn't know what she was doing but from the looks of it, she was getting every answer right.
The kid next to her would look at her paper every so often to see what she put she got 4 for one answer, he got 50, was he wrong or was she right?
Heidi flipped her paper and worked on the back which was a word problem, she hated them, everyone hated them. But she does it anyways and gives it her all.
Heidi jumps off her stool and heads to Mrs.Vasel's desk. She placed her paper on the desk.
"I'm done," she says.
"Alright, I'll grade it once everyone else is done," Heidi heads back to her desk and pulls out her schedule along with the map of the school on where her classes will be, she even grabbed a book of hers she's been reading.
Some students behind Heidi were laughing and giggling, where they laughing at her?
Heidi slowly looked over her shoulder and saw a group of girls laughing and looking at Heidi. She quickly turns her head.
"Girls, no talking," Mrs.Vasel says.
Heidi opens her book and reads her page she was left off.
--------
The first class was done. Heidi grabbed her backpack putting it on her shoulders and walked to the door, she looks out and saw how the hallways was flooded with older kids and the hallway was crowded.
Heidi stepped out and looked at her map and schedule, she needed to get to math class now.
She goes to a hallway and saw the amount of kids that looked at her. They were told by rumors of a child coming into the high school but they didn't think the rumor was true till they saw Heidi coming into the hallway.
Heidi tried to ignore the older kids, but she needed help to look for Mr.Muller's class. She walks to a group of girls, who were laughing not at her but at some photo on their phone.
"Entschuldigen Sie, bitte (excuse me) can you show me to Mr.Muller's class?" Heidi asked.
"Oh yes, he is down the hall, room 52, last door on the right," she moves Heidi to the center of the hallway and showed her with her hands on where to go.
Heidi looks up at the older girl. "Danke (Thank you)."
Heidi takes off down the hall, she looks around the hall seeing older kids look at her and she looks to her right seeing Mr.Muller's name on his door.
She walks in and was greeted with a male teacher looking down at her and slightly chuckling.
"Wow, I do have a child in my class," he chuckles.
"Are you Mr.Muller?"
"I am, go find a seat," he says, walking passed Heidi and she saw some students had already picked their seats.
She walks to the second row and picks a seat.
"Alright, take your seats all of you," he was shutting the door and one more student pushed by the door and quickly found a seat.
"I should write you up Mr.Kitzler."
"I wasn't late," the older kid laughs as the class did too. Heidi just shakes her head.
"Anyways, we have a child in my class," everyone looked at Heidi. "Care to come up here and tell us about you, Ms.King."
Heidi stood up fixing her skirt and heading to the front of the class, she hated public speaking, she was better at writing answers and problems.
"I'm...Heidi King...I am 6 years old-"
"6 years old?" A student sounded shocked.
"Oh shit we do have a child," the kid who was late laughed.
"She's a child prodigy, I'd be careful if I was you, Kitzler."
"Mr.Muller come on, you are going to let a child run the class?"
"Maybe," he tilts his head. "Go have a seat, Heidi," Mr.Muller says.
--------
Mr.Muller was going over a new lesson for Heidi to be able to catch up. Heidi was taking notes and everyone around her just seemed bored out of their mind listening to Mr.Muller.
"Heidi, answer please."
"Umm~ 500."
"How'd you get it?" Heidi then started going over how she got the answer. "Correct...did you get it Mr.Kitzler?"
"Hell no," he laughs.
--------
Heidi didn't know if she liked High school. The kids were just not use to seeing a child in the high school.
Heidi was going to lunch now. She had her pink Disney Princess lunchbox, she didn't know where to sit, she looks around seeing everyone eat with their friends.
Heidi played with the handle of her lunchbox as she walks around, she opened the door that led outside and saw some of the older kids eating outside on black metal tables.
"Oh, hey!" Heidi looks up and saw it was the girl from the hallway that helped her look for Mr.Muller's class.
"Hi," Heidi walks to her.
"Sit with us, we have plenty of room," she moves over to let Heidi sit with her and her friends.
"What's your name?" She asked, Heidi.
"Heidi."
"Wow."
"How old are you?"
"Six."
"SIX YEARS OLD!!" Almost the entry table shouted.
"WOW!"
"Well, I'm Emma, these are my friends, Alice, Hannah, Anna, Mia and Elke."
"Nice to meet you all," Heidi says.
"How'd a kid like you get so lucky?" Alice asked.
"My mama says it was because of the school looking at my testing score and I reached the highest grade within the elementary, and wanted me to come into the high school," Heidi says, opening her lunchbox and grabbing her juice box.
"Gosh, I remember those juice boxes," Hannah laughs.
"Childhood," Emma coos and the table giggle.
"My mama buys them because of me liking them." Heidi says.
the table were fond of Heidi, wanting to hear about the elementary school, wanting to hear about her relationship with her parents.
"My mama and I go shopping every Saturday, my papa and I will sometimes go out to eat almost every Friday. My papa was a operator in the Military-"
"Operator? He was a sniper?" A boy overheard Heidi talking.
"I think so?" Heidi didn't know what a sniper was. She just thought her daddy was cool.
--------
School was letting out, Heidi walks out of the school looking around does she take a bus or does she look for her papa's truck? She looks around in the car rider line and didn't see his truck.
"Bohne (bean)." Heidi turned hearing her nickname that her daddy calls her.
She saw König standing just behind her, hand out wanting her to take it. She runs to him taking his hand.
"Papa!!" She yells, he picks her up instead and placed her on his hip.
"How was school?"
"Good. I made some friends."
"Really?"
"Yeah," she smiles as König walked to her truck opening his back door and placing her into her car seat just behind the passenger seat.
-------
König opened the front door and Heidi runs in.
"MAMA!!" She yells running towards the couch and jumping on her mom.
"Oh my baby, how was school?" Y/n asked.
"Good."
"She made some new friends," König said, kicking his shoes off.
"Well, that's good," Y/n says, cupping her daughters face and kissing her forehead. "I'm going to start dinner soon, what would you like, Heidi?"
"Chicken schnitzel," she says.
"I can do that," Y/n says.
------
Heidi was doing her homework. König sat next to her just in case she needed help. He was very impressed on how she was getting every answer right, how she never bothered him for help, he was just impressed with his daughter.
Y/n cleaned the dishes and König got off the stool and helped Y/n with the dishes.
"Mama, why did you think I would be okay to go into high school?" Heidi asked.
"Because baby, I knew you could do it, high school may be hard but I know you could do it baby. I did get really nervous but I calmed myself down-"
"You mean, I called you down," König said.
"Whatever, but I know you could do it, and you are a genius baby," Y/n says, turning to her daughter.
"Thank you for believing in me, mama."
"Of course baby," Y/n walked to her daughter, kissing her forehead again.

Natives having sirene-pluto(esp. Sextile, conjunction), your intimacy level is so intense and powerful. You guys can have such an intense aura and energy and that makes other people feel it with just one look. You make your partners wet easily, especially when you want to make them wet hahaha. Normally speaking, your intimacy level are so so intenseee, you internally drive people crazy and the amount of this energy you guys have can intimidate others. People could feel like your dangerous to be around or you seem scarily sexy. Dangerous beauty and energy unleashed.💥🔥🥵🙊

This can also show your sexual attractiveness is just intensio. My my. You guys so-🔥👑😩💦
Messalina-saturn natives, you guys have this dominant authoritative kind of sexuality. You guys are so sexy in formal clothing ughh. Suits, tuxedo, goshh you name it. Guys often feel seduced yet intimidated by your dominant sexual energy and most of the time people lowkey stare at you just doing nothing when you ain't looking at them and when you do look at them, they turn around instantly hahaha cuz they're lowkey scared too cuz you give them that intimidating energy. But in the end y'all slay🔥👑
Zeus-jupiter(esp conjunct) y'all have too much sexual power plzzzz 🥵😩💦🔥
Black moon lilith- mercury/ in taurus or Gemini, have such intense, hypnotic moans. They love screaming too. You hear their moan once and your turned on forever ahaha🔥
Natives with Black moon lilith-sun/ASC/ MC. Y'all look intimidating and often have such a raw sexual energy. Woman with bml in harsh aspects with sun can also indicate inferiority with male figures. Men have never mingled well with you cuz they feel the energy in you that intimidates them but they can be too egotistic to admit it. Men feel like you have this superior energy compared to themselves and often get pissed cuz of it. You ladies got that boss energy🙌🏻😎. (Lil info about my experience):- I have this aspect and I remember once I was sitting with my friend(girl) and this group of guys were with us, none of them spoke to Me though and when my friend left for 5 mins with the other guys to take the food they ordered, one of them was left with me. (I'll call him 'k') so K starts looking tensed within like 5 seconds of the others leaving us alone lmao and he rubs his hands a bit as he asks me something in a shaky voice. I answered him and then he laughs a bit nervously and says something funny, I don't laugh much with people so I just looked at him with a smile. He looked around as if he felt awkward and then the rest others arrived.
Black moon lilith-MC, people lowkey fear you cuz you look too serious or have this intense energy that people don't wanna mess with. People see you as that "femme Fatale" figure. You're a person whose feared and watched by many.
okay this is random but even betelguese is a fame indicator.👑☀️
Vesta-ascendant(positive aspects), y'all emit such feminine energy. Just beautiful and so tender. People find you so soft and kind and immediately feel so open and comfortable towards you. You also look pure and innocent to people. Y'all also have that aura/looks that emit "self-discipline".
Child-Asc/MC(most of the times positive aspects), you guys emit a childlike energy. Children can feel an attraction towards you(not romantically) because they feel the same energies they emit connecting with your aura. People your age or even older than you find you to to very cute and adorable, also like an innocent child. If You guys find babies or children(mostly below the age of 12) always staring at you everywhere you go, it's cuz of this bish lmao.
Taurus Venus/Taurus mars or mars/venus-mercury can show a native likes their neck(from behind, following upto the back of your ears) being licked by their partner or also when their partner just slides their tounge on their body(esp. The neck).
Chiron-sun/saturn/chiron in 5th or 10th house) natives might've had a toxic relationship with their father and their father caused them emotional wounds and was never there for them. Toxic father figure. You had a Lack of emotional support and the absence of your father in your life. If not you this can also show that your father had been through a lot of problems, sadness, toxic relationship with their father, also their father was never there for them when they needed them the most. If not any of this, then you probably just have a wounded ego and soul(sun).
Chiron-moon(chiron in 4H) natives mightve had a very wounded or misunderstood relationship with their mother. Toxic mother figure. If not you, this can show your mother having a bad relationship with their mother. The natives with this aspect/placement have undergone so much emotional trauma and struggles, manipulation, blackmail, depression and anxiety. This can also manifest into anxiety disorders(esp if chiron conj. Moon).
I don't know why no one ever speaks about this but Mercury conjunct uranus makes the person so damn sarcastic when speaking. They literally know how to say something sarcastic and also not make it sound sound sarcastic hence people often get confused if These guys are actually saying something true or if they're just being sarcastic. These guys are literally the president of sarcasm.
Natives with Mercury-jupiter in positive aspects are amazing with words and literature. These guys are so "Shakespearey" lmaoo. These guys are so good at expressing values and thoughts on paper and it hits so so so deep. These guys also make amazing authors!
Natives with mercury-jupiter in harsh aspects have a lot of knowledge and are very wise too but they find it hard to express their thoughts or values on paper. These natives find it hard to communicate their values clearly on paper or normally too. It's like the wisdom lies in the mouth but struggles to slip out of the tounge. Expression issues. These guys would make great authors too but with a lot of struggle put into their novels.
Mars in earth signs/earth degrees/earth houses are very intense and sexually active.
Women with mars in Capricorn sign/Capricorn degree love men who have deep, husky, dominant, sexy and a raspy voice. Like they love that businessman voice too.

PAIRING Mattheo Riddle x Reader
SUMMARY  You and Mattheo have been dating for two months now and your life has taken a turn for the better. You thank him.
TAGS  Mattheo Riddle x reader, fluff, cuddling, kisses, mattheo is a good bf, gender neutral reader
"Ask me what I learned from all those years, / ask me what I earned from all those tears, / ask me why so many fade but I'm still here," - Karma, Taylor Swift
WORD COUNT  1.2K
WRITTEN  26.08.2023
pt. 1 here, exile
Dating Mattheo Riddle was not what you had expected - over the course of two months, your life had improved dramatically. You were like a puzzle Mattheo had solved - before you met him, your pieces were all broken apart, but he had somehow managed to put them back together. He made you happier, and when you were happier, you tended to do better in your courses. You had also made friends - he had introduced you to his as soon as he could. Theodore was still quite silent around you, but you could tell he didn't nesscessarily dislike you. Sometimes, he sat down across from you in the library and you studied together in silence. It was far better than studying alone, that's for sure. And Blaise - Blaise and you had connected quickly. Before you knew it, you, Mattheo, and Blaise were hanging out together almost everyday. In the Slytherin common room, on the grounds, in random classrooms even.
However, you had grown quite unpopular with a certain . . . group of people at school. Namely girls. A lot of girls. The day after you and Mattheo kissed, you had walked into the Great Hall together. Mattheo's arm wrapped around your waist, his head leaned into your ear mumbling some joke that made you laugh boisterously. No doubt eyes were drawn to you and jaws dropped. Only days ago, no one even knew you that well. Let alone Riddle. Yet here you were, entangled in his arms, being led to the Slytherin table for breakfast. So you had made quite a few enemies as well as friends, but if you were being entirely honest . . . you didn't even care that much.
Being with Mattheo was like a blessing. He was constantly showering you with affection. Whether it be subtle touches, murmured words of affection, or more . . . unspeakable things. Despite the fact that he was by your side every moment of the day (which came in handy when he could death stare any potential annoyances away), you actually quite enjoyed how often you were in each other's proximity. You were in most of the same classes already as well as the same year. And currently, you were seated next to each other in History of Magic. Professor Binns, of course, was droning on about the elf revolution and you, of course, were nudging Mattheo awake with a silent chuckle.
He gave you a playful shove, letting his head fall back onto your shared desk, his arms covering his face. "Let me sleep," Mattheo mumbled, his voice muffled.
"Theo, don't you want to pay attention?"
"I have an E in this class anyways."
You rolled your eyes with a grin, turning back to listen to Binns, no matter how much you'd like to lay on your desk to fall asleep too. When class was over, Blaise made his way over to you two, Theodore hovering behind him with his nose down a book. Blaise whacked Mattheo over the head with a roll of parchment, enough that it would startle him awake, but not exactly enough to hurt him.
Mattheo groaned, shoving Blaise away too.
"Come on, you twat, class is over."
Mattheo let out a grumble, pushing himself out of his chair and grabbing his bag. "We don't have any more classes, right?"
"Nope. Theo and I are headed down to the pitch, you two want to come?"
Mattheo shook his head no, which wasn't really surprising. He wasn't really into Quidditch and only ever came to matches for the sake of his friends. "I'm probably going to pass out for a few hours, you guys can head on."
Blaise glanced towards you questioningly, but you shook your head. A grin grew wide on his face as Blaise clapped Mattheo's shoulder. "Pass out, huh?" he asked with a snigger.
"Ah, shove off, Zabini!"
When you entered Mattheo's dorm, you dropped your bag by the edge of his bed and flopped onto the mattress with a sigh. You were exhausted. So much work, and with NEWTs growing closer and closer, you grew more tired with the heavy workload.
Mattheo joined you, sitting up straight while he held his arm out to you. You smiled, snuggling into him and wrapping an arm around his torso. He gave you a peck on the top of your head, which was resting against his chest, petting your hair gently. It was quiet moments like this that you loved the best, moments where you were reminded that you were his and he was yours. It reminded you that what you had was real.
"Tired, huh?" He looked down in amusement at you, your eyes already shut, breathing already turned to a slow, steady rhythm. You hummed in response, entangling your legs with his, a grin spread across your face. He couldn't help but smile at your contentment. "You look so pretty like this." It was a whisper, but nowhere near suggestive - more adoring than anything. He rubbed your arm gently, pulling you in closer so that you were almost entirely sprawled atop him.
Sometimes, it was hard to believe you were with Mattheo. He was just so . . . perfect. He had his flaws, but that didn't mean you liked him any less. Sure, he may have gotten in one too many fights on your behalf, and yes, he may have tried to push you away because of his traumatic childhood, but you loved him all the same. I mean, come on, this is Mattheo you're talking about. The guy that sent you far too many deliveries of roses at breakfast, so many in fact that the entire table in front of you was drowning in luscious red petals. The guy that read all your favorite books and listened to all your favorite bands even if he didn't care much for them. The guy that declared his love for you in the middle of Transfiguration when you had been sour after a particularly nasty row. It didn't matter if he was the Dark Lord's son or if he got into far too many fights or if he got terrible marks (even though he was quite sharp).
But he reminded you that this was real and you were together in quiet moments like this. Sometimes it was when you were cuddled on a couch in the common room, huddled by the fire while your friends told stories that more often that not involved very noble efforts for very stupid causes. Or perhaps in the library, his head rested in your lap as you studied with an intense concentration, playing with some part of your clothes or maybe your hair. Oh, and those times you'd be walking hand-in-hand through Hogsmeade, waltzing into forgotten shops on street corners, making out in the oddest of places, tripping over bumps in the road as you walked to visit the Shrieking Shack together. In a way, you were grateful to him for being in your life. You wouldn't be nearly as happy as you were today without him.
"Theo?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you."
"For what, exactly, darling?"
"For being here for me. For being here, in general."
Matthoe glanced down at you in suprise. "You have nothing to thank me for." He pressed a firm kiss to your head, then drawing you in closer so he could rest your head against yours. "I love you."
You hummed, snuggling your face into his chest. "I love you too."

EEEEE JAKE IS FUCKSIDJJDJS anywho i hope everyone enjoys because i sure did while writing 😜 size kink jake gets me man
°˖➴ warnings: fem omatikaya reader, age gap (jake 32, reader 20), alcohol mentions, dom!jake, sub!reader, DADDY KINK WHO IS SURPRISED, fingering, lil masturbation, spit kink, size kink, slight spanking (legit just one), dirty talkkkkkkk
Tumblr media
being mated with a man that was olo'eyktan and toruk makto was not an easy job, but you absolutely adored it. being 12 years younger than jake put you in a spot where you were still learning so much and doing a lot of tsahik practice, while he was often busy with his duties. some weeks were more bustling than others due to current happenings, war parties and whatnot. finally there would be some downtime for the next few days, resulting in jake's friends deciding that a little gathering and getting tipsy was the perfect celebration. you were, of course, down for some fun. as long as you were with jake, you felt safe and were willing to do whatever. and, when your pussy did the thinking, you were reminded that when jake had some alcohol in his system he was beyond horny, like hornier than usual.
you had told jake this morning as he was running out of your tent that you would meet him at the gathering, unsure when you would be done with your tsahik practice for the day. once you returned home you quickly changed into a different set of top and bottoms, beads crossing over your chest while your bottoms consisted of a basic purple loincloth, a similar bead design as an accessory around your waist. you head out, knowing you were near as you could hear the laughs of several omatikaya men. you smile as you hear jake's voice in the distance, walking speed subconsciously picking up. once you reach the group you sign to everyone, slipping beside jake and snuggling into his side. "hey, sweet girl" he places a kiss on your head, arm wrapping securely around your waist. "hi, ma'jake" you reach into the middle of the group, grabbing yourself a drink. "careful there, you know you can't handle much" he chuckles and downs the rest of his current drink before joining you with a now full cup. "don't worry, i can handle myself" you tease and take a large gulp, "plus, i have to catch up with you, i can tell you're a few in" you giggle as his glossy eyes trail down your body. "mhmmm and so what? just because i'm tipsy doesn't mean i can't admire my mate" he licks his lips and plays with the chain of beads on your waist.
you shake your head and giggle more, finishing up your drink. "damn, kid" he leans to grab you another, large hand slipping down your back to rest on your ass. you felt so small with jake, his hands feeling enormous compared to any part of your body. "thank you" you lean into him more, alcohol somehow already bringing upon brain fog. he wasn't wrong about you not being able to handle much. "do you like the outfit?" you ask, free hand resting atop his bicep. "i love it, you look beautiful.." he leans down so his mouth is next to your ear, "makes me wanna bend you over right here, take you in front of everyone". a whimper escapes your mouth at the thought, squirming slightly so your legs are crossed over one another. here was horny jake. "mhm, you like that, don't you? want everyone to know that you're mine, my little girl.." he growls out the sentence softly, hand now squeezing your ass. you look into his eyes submissively, trying to beg him to drag you out of here and fuck the sense out of you. "use your words, and we'll be out of here in a second.." "daddy please... take me home and use me... i need you, please" you whimper out, nails digging into his bicep. he nods at you and you both down the rest of your drinks, exchanging goodbyes and exiting the gathering eagerly.
once you reach your tent jake immediately latches the entrance and pulls you in, hands groping all over your lower half as he pulls you in for a feverish kiss. you hum into the kiss as his tongue slips into your mouth, colliding with yours as he slides a hand into the front of your loincloth, fingers slithering through your wetness with ease. you gasp and grab his shoulders, bucking your hips against his fingers. he chuckles and pulls away, looking down to observe your movements. "so desperate for daddy, huh kid? already soaking..." you nod and whine at the feeling of his fingers, "use your words, don't make me have to keep asking you... be my good girl.." he slips a finger inside, squelching sound filling your ears right away. "yes i'm desperate, daddy!!! you make me so wet.." you whimper out as his finger starts to pump in and out of you, brushing along your g spot. "that's my good girl... now, you made this special outfit for me?" he slips in another finger, whines escaping your mouth as you try to form an answer, "y-yes daddy", "mhmmm... made it just for me to rip it off huh? such a needy slut.." he slips his fingers out and licks them clean, analyzing the look on your face. "what is it, babygirl? need something?" he taunts, smirk on his face as he steps away to untie to his loincloth, large cock jumping out immediately. you lick your lips as you eye his cock, his large hand wrapping around his shaft and stroking slowly but firmly. he watches as you squirm, "i can only give you what you need if you tell me, otherwise i won't know what it is you're longing for..." he says as his breath quivers a bit, pleasure coursing through his cock. "daddy..." you reach out for him only causing him to step back. "ah ah.. tell daddy what you need, babygirl" he continues stroking himself as you gather our thoughts through the arousal clouding your mind, "you! daddy i need you! need you inside of me, need to feel how big you are inside, need your cum..." your body is hot now, the necessity of his cock becoming unbearable.
he approaches you, hand grabbing your chin and angling your head up to face him. you opened your mouth in preparation, knowing what jake was about to do. "good girl.." he whispers and spits in your mouth, manually shutting it with his hand. he kisses you deeply after you swallow, bringing you down to the floor of your tent. he pushes you onto your knees, guiding your head onto the floor. he drags his hands across your back, swiftly removing your moistened loincloth and tossing it to the side. he groans softly as he gazes at your pussy, lining himself up. you push back at the feeling of his idle tip at your hole, provoking jake to leave a hard spank on your ass, "you wait for daddy, got it?" he growls upon not hearing a response from you, thrusting entirely into your pussy. you gasp loudly at the sensation, "there we go, knew you were still capable of making noise..." he moans softly as he starts to thrust, hips rutting into yours rapidly. "big- so big" you babble out and he brings a hand to press your head onto the floor, other hand dragging one of yours to your stomach. "big, huh? feel daddy's cock under your hand?" he groans as he thrusts deeply, bulge appearing under your hand. your mewls are constant as he continues, "big cock for such a tiny girl- fuck you're so small, baby..." he gasps as his tip grazes your cervix, watching how your ass jiggles with each thrust. "daddy- it's too much" you squeal at the touch on your cervix, knot forming inside of you. "you can take it, little girl, i know you can- fuck.." he groans out as he releases your hand and head to grip your hips, now relentlessly pounding your pussy. your mind is jumbled as he fucks into you, all you know is that the knot inside of you is about to come undone; "can i- can i- please" you whimper out breathlessly as his fingers bruise your hips, "cum for daddy, babygirl, come on... show me" your ears go flat on your head as you moan, cum flowing onto his cock and walls tightening around him. "that's it, that's a good girl- gonna fill you, baby, gonna fill your tight little pussy to the brim" he groans as he pushes in one last time, cum spilling out into you and painting your walls.
you attempt to catch your breath once jake's movements still, his forehead pressed against your shoulder. he places a kiss along it, chest still heaving lightly. he moves back up to pull out, some cum dripping out of you upon his exit. he sits and brings you up to straddle his lap, "you good, sweetheart? feeling okay?" he cups your cheeks in his hands, face engulfed in his palms. "i'm good, ma'jake, are you?" you smile and turn your head slightly to kiss his hands. "mhmmm, i'm great, you're gonna wear me out someday though, i'm an old guy" he chuckles and you shake your head at him, "you don't fuck like an old guy, if that means anything" you giggle and kiss him, prompting him to lie down on his back as you continue kissing. he smiles into it at your comment, arms now wrapping around your waist securely. he could have you like this forever, small and warm in his arms.

This Is War {Fred Weasley}
Tumblr media
Pairing: Fred Weasley x Fem!Reader
Summary: After Slytherin loses the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor, (Y/N) decides to get back at them... and at Fred Weasley.
Word count: 5.3k
Read part two here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Look at them," Draco glowers at the group of people flying around the other side above the pitch, moving to stand right across from us. All of them are wearing matching red and gold uniforms, a very distinctive contrast to our (better-looking) green and silver ones. "They think they have a chance against us just because Potter is their Seeker. If you ask me, I've seen Flobberworms moving around faster than him."
The rest of the team laughs. I have the sudden urge to point out the many times Harry's beaten Draco in the past, just to shut them up, but I choose to keep it to myself. After all, we're on the same team, even if I often don't agree with my teammates. Besides, I would never hear the end of it, and the last thing I'd want to do when I'm so close to graduating is to get in trouble with Lucius Malfoy because his son is a whiny baby.
I keep observing the opposite team. All of them have gathered around in their own little broom circle, listening to what one of the three girls is saying. I spot Harry Potter with his back facing us while Ron Weasley stands beside him, looking defeated already.
And standing next to him are his older identical twin brothers. The worst of them all, by far. Those two are just so hard to like. They're careless, and reckless, and love to waste their time coming up with useless little experiments. They specifically have taken quite a liking to pulling pranks on us Slytherins daily, and frankly, It's become very annoying.
Three nights ago, in fact, the Weasley twins and a few other Gryffindors took it too far when they decided to bombard our entire Common Room —and our dorms— with Dungbombs. And three nights later, we're still mad. How they managed to sneak past us and plant all those bombs remains a mystery, but one thing is for sure: they've declared war and we are not backing down. "I'd love nothing more than to see their faces when we win that Quidditch Cup," Adrian Pucey says next to me. "It'd be the perfect way to get back at them for their little prank last time."
The rest of us mutter in agreement. "Well, if we want to do that, then we have to play perfectly today. Considering It's the final game and all," I point out. "That means we can't let them score too many points or catch the Snitch. And that means you'll have to be extra quick today, Draco."
He shoots me a nasty look as if he's disgusted by the fact that I'm telling him what to do. "Thank you for sharing that with us, (Y/L/N)," Graham Montague adverts his attention from Gryffindor and turns to me, the same look on his face. "Unfortunately, I don't remember making you our Co-Captain, so you might want to keep any comments or useless observations to yourself."
I hear snickering behind me but I do not turn around. Being the only girl on the team definitely comes with its cons. Sexism, for example. "I'm certainly doing a better job than our current Captain," I mutter quietly while rolling my eyes.
Down at the pitch, Madam Hooch steps into the center of the field, next to a brown trunk, and blows her whistle, which is somehow heard over the loud cheering from the crowd. Both teams fly closer to each other. Gryffindor shoots daggers at us and, as I take a long look at all of them, I find one of the twins staring directly at me. They're identical but, because of their little 'history' of messing with me and my fellow classmates, I can tell them apart almost naturally. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
I can tell immediately that it is Fred Weasley who is smiling mockingly at me and a wave of rage runs through me.
Of course, It's Fred. I've discovered throughout the years that, even though both twins are bad enough on their own, Fred is by far the worst of the pair. While George can sometimes know when to stop, Fred does not care nearly as much about crossing the line. I glare at him, hard enough to get him to look away first, but his smile only grows bigger and he winks at me. I finally break eye contact, but only because I want all of my focus to be on the game and not wasted on someone so immature as him.
Once everyone is set, Madam Hooch opens up the trunk and the two Bludgers shoot into the sky, quickly followed by the Golden Snitch. Then, as soon as the Quaffle finally shoots free, the game starts.
It feels like a long match, like an endless cat-and-mouse game as both teams try and catch up to each other. For the longest time, It's a close call between scores, which makes all players —and the public— tense. Lee Jordan's commentary is all over the place throughout the game; one minute, he's excited when Gryffindor is in the lead, and then the next one he's accusing Slytherin of cheating when we take it (which most of the time ends up being true, but I look past it). Despite this, we put up a fairly good fight, and for the first time in so long, it feels like the Quidditch Cup is finally ours.
Unfortunately, we don't put up a good enough fight.
I'm too busy avoiding Bludgers and trying to take the Quaffle away from the opposite team that I nearly jump from my broom when I hear the whistle blowing again. Confused, I halt my flight and look around. I quickly spot Draco in the distance, running a hand through his hair in frustration, and I immediately know what happened.
Harry caught the Snitch. Again.
"Gryffindor wins!" Madam Hooch announces.
A loud wave of cheers erupts from the Gryffindors in the crowd, hugging each other and jumping excitedly at their victory. I groan as the rest of the opposite team lands back on the ground to go and congratulate Harry for the catch. I watch as they smile and pump fists into the air, and I shake my head in disappointment. I really thought we were going to win this time. "Well, I guess we're still the best team, huh?" A voice says and I turn to look at the person.
Fred is the only Gryffindor still mounting a broom, and he doesn't seem to be in any rush to join his teammates. He leans back effortlessly as if he's lying on a couch, with his hands behind his head. I scowl at him. "Shouldn't you be down there celebrating your victory, then, instead of bothering me?"
He shrugs. "I'd much rather be here, watching your defeat from up close."
My nostrils flare and if I had my wand I'd hex him here and there. "Aww, but don't worry," He fake pouts. "There'll be plenty of opportunities to try and win in the next few years. Too bad you won't be here to see it."
He finally flies away with that stupid smug look on his face and it takes everything in me not to throw a Bludger at his head. I try to ignore the fact that his words struck a nerve because he's right. This was my last chance to help win the Quidditch Cup for Slytherin and now It's gone. I missed it.
Shaking the thoughts away, I go to join my sulking teammates, who are all gathering around Draco. "I almost had it. I even touched it with the tip of my fingers," He's saying when I arrive. I have a feeling that that is not at all true. "But then Potter had to come in and ruin everything. I bet that broom of his was charmed with super speed or something."
No one says anything about it. I know they're upset about losing but they would never dare blame Draco for it. "We were so close, though," says Cassius Warrington in a frustrated tone.
"Yeah, and now we've got to think of another way to get back at them," Adrian adds.
As I watch the other team still celebrating, a light bulb turns on above my head. "Don't worry, guys," I reassure them. My wicked smile brings them a sort of comfort. "I think I have a plan to get them back."
***
"Okay, but why do I have to get dragged into this?" Daphne Greengrass, my puzzled best friend, asks as we step out of our dorm and into the dark hallway. "I don't have any beef with Gryffindor, that's your thing."
"Right, but, aside from myself, you're the only person that I trust to do this job," I tell her, quickening my steps down the stairs. "And you're way more tolerable than the others."
"Gee, thanks for that,"
"Plus, the Slytherin team is around the castle keeping watch of any Professors or Prefects or Filch," I add. "And Draco and Blaise have to get the two Gryffindor girls, so we're stuck with the most important task, and we have to do it right."
"Because of course, we are," Daphne rolls her eyes.
"Did you bring the secret ingredients?"
She reaches into her bag and takes out two clear bottles, one with a dark purple liquid in it and the other one with something that almost looks like mud. I smile delightedly. "You have no idea how happy I am that you just happened to have Sleeping Draught and Polyjuice Potion lying around the dorm."
"That's funny because back then, I remember you said that me brewing potions for fun was 'a bit pointless if you have to wait so long to brew them'" Daphne recalls.
I clear my throat uncomfortably. "I do apologize for that. I will never doubt you again."
The plan is simple.
Gryffindor is currently having a party to celebrate their victory at their Common Room. Draco and Blaise Zabini have written a letter addressed to Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil, probably the easiest targets we could get, asking them to meet Michael Corner and Cormac McLaggen at the Courtyard. Pansy Parkinson will charm said letter to fly to the girls; once they get it, Draco and Blaise will put them to sleep, take a strand of hair from each of them, and bring it back to us. We mix the hair with our potion servings, drink the potion, and once we transform we sneak into the Common Room and add a (lot) bit of Sleeping Draught into the drinks. When we've made sure that everyone in the room fell into a deep slumber, we take the Quidditch Cup from them and they'll wake up in the morning with no idea of what happened. It'll look like everyone was just blackout drunk and they lost the Cup because of their irresponsibility.
It's a great plan if you ask me.
"I do have a question, though," Daphne stops walking once we make it to our own Common Room. "Don't we need the password to get into their Common Room?"
I grin and reach into my pocket, holding out a piece of paper in front of her. 'Mimbulus mimbletonia', it reads. "I stole it from that Longbottom kid in Transfiguration earlier," I say. "At first, I figured we'd rely on luck and wait until someone came around to help us, but it was much easier to just take the password from him. Plus, it saves us time."
"Huh," Daphne takes a seat on the nearest chair and folds her arms, impressed. "Good thinking. So, when are Draco and Blaise coming?"
"I'd say they should be here—"
Before I finish my sentence, and as if they've heard us talking about them, the Common Room door opens and both boys walk toward us with triumphant looks on their faces. Draco holds up the small pouch in his hand. "We got them."
"Oh, good," I sigh in relief as they hold out their pouches to us. I take the one in Draco's hand and Daphne takes the other one. I open mine up and a few long dark hairs come out. I can immediately tell that it is Parvati's. "Good job, guys. Daphne?"
She takes out two cups from her bag and hands one to me. Once I take it, she pours the muddy liquid into mine and then onto hers. I glance down at my cup, grimacing when I notice It's bubbling in the most disgusting way. I turn back at Daphne before I can start feeling nauseous. "Ready?"
She gulps, also eyeing her potion, then gives a slow nod.
We each throw our hair into the liquid, which completely consumes it until it is not visible anymore. A few moments pass and my potion begins to shift colors. The muddy brown is completely gone, replaced by a shocking pink that nearly blinds me. I look up at Daphne's portion and hers has turned into... well, lavender. "You don't happen to have an idea of how much these will last, do you?" I ask her.
Daphne smiles weakly. "One can never really tell, am I right?" She raises her glass in front of me. "Bottoms up!"
We both chug down our potion at once. Mine tastes... okay. I don't know why I expected it to taste like shit but It's sweet, although not overpowering. Daphne's doesn't seem to taste too bad, either, seeing as she drinks it with ease.
The bad part comes right after.
I've never consumed Polyjuice Potion before this so I'm not sure exactly what to expect, but I've heard the transformation process is extremely unpleasant so I'm not expecting something good. Once it finally starts, I let go of my cup and I'm crouching on the floor in less than 10 seconds. My insides feel like they're twisting and turning into irreparable knots, and my skin feels like It's burning. I hear Daphne moaning in pain but I don't look up at her. My eyes are glued to the bubbles forming in my hands and arms. I nearly begin to panic but I try to remain calm as my skin begins to darken, my fingers shrinking a bit and turning slightly thinner. A long dark hood begins to take over my vision while I'm still crouched, and it takes me a moment to realize that It's just my hair, which doesn't seem to stop growing. My robes suddenly begin to feel lighter than usual as my body takes the shape of Parvati. The pain stops as suddenly as it started and it leaves me trying to catch my breath. I try to stand up straight again, catching sight of Draco and Blaise's faces first. Both of them look like they've seen a ghost for a moment before their expressions shift into amusement. "Whoa," Blaise mutters. "That was terrifying to watch. But you guys look exactly like them."
I don't say anything as I turn to find Daphne again, but I'm met with Lavender Brown staring at me with wide eyes instead. We both gasp, frozen in our spots. To anyone else, she wouldn't look any different than the real Lavender, but I still find a bit of Daphne in the way she stares at me. "Oh Merlin," she tilts her head. "This is terrifying."
"Tell me about it," I agree while I take one last look at my hands. I grab my hair; It's so long that I have no idea what to do with it. I've never had it this long so it does sort of feel heavy.
"Yes, yes, It's all very impressive," Draco says in a dismissive manner. "But we still have other important things to do."
Even though I hate that he has to be such an asshole all the time, he's right. We cannot lose sight of what's important.
So, Daphne and I go to change clothes and then head to the Gryffindor Tower. It feels like a marathon but we finally stop in front of the Fat Lady's portrait. She eyes us carefully and for a moment I begin to think that she's onto us. I try not to look suspicious and I can sense Daphne doing the same next to me. "Password?"
"Mimbulus mimbletonia." I say without stuttering, trying to seem casual and like It's not my first time sneaking into Gryffindor's Common Room.
She nods and the portrait slowly opens. I almost let out a sigh of relief as we walk in but I'm stopped by the sight of the Common Room. I've never been here before but It's hard to take it all in when there are so many students in it at the same time. Nonetheless, I can tell that It's so much different than Slytherin's Common Room, and not in a good way.
"Okay," Daphne says, but It's barely audible through the loud music playing. "We're here now, there's no turning back. Do you see the drinks anywhere?"
I scan the room a bit longer. I spot the music box in a corner, next to a couple making out against the wall; I spot the Quidditch Cup exhibited on a clear shelf, next to Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley who are talking on the other side of the room; and I do see many people holding cups, which means that we'll probably have to go around slipping Sleeping Draught in all of them.
I finally catch a glimpse of a long table with different kinds of snacks and—
"I see something!" I tell her excitedly and I point to the table, where there are also two huge bowls filled with red and gold liquid, probably charmed to look that way.
Daphne smiles in satisfaction. "Let's get started, shall we?"
"Wait," I stop her. "I think we have to split up."
"Huh?"
"There are people drinking already so maybe you could try and slip some Draught in their drinks while I try to slip it into the bowls first?" I suggest.
She nods. "Right. I'll start on the left side of the room, then."
We divide the potion and part ways, and I start making my way through the crowd until I can't see her anymore. A few people say hi to me and, even though I don't know much about Parvati Patil, I try to act how I've seen her act— bright, outgoing, and a little bit annoying. Luckily, though, no one stops to make conversation so I make an easy escape until I finally reach the table.
I take out the cup that Daphne gave me and I discreetly begin to pour the purple liquid into the cup. Fortunately, it does not change colors. "I see what you're doing," a voice says from behind me and I almost drop the cup.
I turn around, trying to act normal, and then I see that the person talking is none other than Fred Weasley. Out of all people. "What?"
He grins. "You're spiking the punch even more, aren't you? I didn't know you were such a party animal, Parvati."
I almost forget that I look like a whole different person right now. I chuckle and raise my arms. "You're right. You caught me."
"Well, don't let me stop you. Go on ahead. It'll definitely make things a lot more fun around here." Fred winks at me before he walks away and I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding.
Aside from that small incident, I don't bump into anyone else. Everyone's already too drunk out of their minds to notice me. It makes it easier for me to slip more Sleeping Draught into people's drinks, and I keep doing it until I find Daphne again and we're certain that we've got everyone. "And now we just wait."
***
It doesn't take long for everyone but Daphne and I to start collapsing from sleep. In fact, it happens very quickly.
Daphne and I are giggling like maniacs as we tiptoe around until we're in front of the silver Quidditch Cup, admiring its beauty for a moment. "I can't believe we actually pulled this off," Daphne says under her breath, her eyes glowing. "We're so cool."
"Told you we could do it," I nudge her side. "Now for the final act..."
I take it in my hands. It feels heavier than I expected but it feels so good to hold it. "What a beauty," I keep admiring it until I'm brought back to my senses. "Okay, now let's get out of here."
We finally make it out of the Common Room and it feels like we've been liberated. Our surroundings begin to feel familiar again. "I'll go let the others know that we have the Cup," Daphne announces excitedly.
"Good idea," I tell her. "I'll go take this to the dungeons."
She nods and we part ways once again. I try to hide the Cup in my bag as much as I can but It's so big that the top part still sticks out, but it will have to do.
If the path to the Gryffindor Tower felt long, this time it feels eternal, especially when the tension of being caught follows me around. I have to be extra careful this time; if anyone sees me I'll get in huge trouble and I don't even want to begin thinking about that. So I have to sneak around and be very aware of my surroundings if I want this to go as planned. It's all up to me now.
When I'm finally sure that I'm outside of the public eye, I turn a corner and let out a shriek as I almost come face-to-face with a tall figure. And of course, It's Fred Weasley again.
Wait...
"H-hey, Fred!" I smile brightly at him. Maybe it comes off a bit too forced but oh well. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to check up on you and Lavender, since you guys left in such a hurry," His eyes find my bag and my stomach drops. "What are you doing with the Quidditch Cup?"
"I'm..." I try to think fast but without looking suspicious, and then I realize that I'm most certainly failing at it. "I was just on my way to polish it! And then I was going to bring it back later."
"Were you?" Fred raises an eyebrow and steps closer.
I nod. "Of course! What, you think I'm stealing it or something?"
He's practically hovering over me now and I have to crane my neck to look up at him. He extends a hand out to me. "Why don't you let me help you, then?"
"I'm sure you're probably busy—"
"I have nothing on my schedule right now." He cuts me off. His gaze makes me feel like a criminal. "I'd love to help out."
I shrug. "It shouldn't be too much work, I can do it on my own, really—"
Suddenly, my back is pressed against the stone wall and I'm caged in between both of his arms. I yelp in surprise. Fred's face is awfully close to mine and he's staring at me as if he's trying to figure out my identity. My true identity. "You're not the real Parvati, are you?"
I swallow hard and do the first thing that comes to mind: I take out my wand from my back pocket and point it at him. "Flipendo!"
A yellow light surges out of the tip of my wand and knocks Fred back and away from me. As soon as his back meets the ground I make a run for it.
I have no idea where I'm heading, my vision is far too clouded right now, but I do not look back and I do not stop running. I've forgotten all about being discreet and I've stopped worrying about getting caught by someone else. I'm already in enough trouble as it is.
My feet guide me outside of the castle, and I know that if anyone finds out I'll get detention for at least 2 months, but I don't care as I keep moving. My stomach begins to turn in that weird way again all of a sudden. "Oh no, please, not now," I beg.
Despite the uncomfortable feeling, I'm still running until I reach the dock at the Great Lake. It's barely visible and the water is so dark that it looks like a huge void, but at least no one can see me here. The pain continues for a few moments, and when it finally stops I look at my hands. They look like my hands again. I reach to touch my hair and realize It's not nearly as long anymore. Even if it didn't last long, it feels good to be back to my old self.
"There you are,"
Crap.
I turn slowly to look at Fred, who apparently does not know to mind his own bloody business. His eyes widen in surprise once he sees me but then he shakes his head and smirks. "Well, hello there. I never thought that, out of all people, you would try and pull off something like this," I remain quiet. "I believe you have something that belongs to us." He takes a step closer.
I pretend to ponder. "No, I don't think I do. I think you have the wrong person."
"Oh, silly me, right? I thought you looked different back there," He says then takes out his own wand. "Accio Quidditch Cup!"
The Cup suddenly flies out of the bag, all the way into Fred's hands.
"Give it to me," I run towards him and try to yank the cup from his hands. Unfortunately for me, his grip is way stronger than mine. He raises it above his head, which, given our very distinctive height difference, is impossible for me to reach. I jump while extending my arm as high as possible, but It's useless. He's still looking down at me like I'm an annoying toddler wanting to get his attention. "Weasley!"
"Sorry," He shrugs. "Finder's keepers."
Grumbling curses at him under my breath, I reach for my wand and point it at the cup, using the same Summoning Charm as him. As soon as the cup is back in my hands, I run for it. I hear Fred shouting my name behind me, but I don't turn back. I'm laughing like a maniac as I run to the opposite side when I'm suddenly stopped in my tracks. For a second, I cannot move. It's like an invisible force is restricting my entire body. And then I'm yanked back by said force until I'm back in my previous spot, right in front of Fred. He snatches the cup from me and grins. "Thank you, kind lady. Oh, and I'll be taking this, too."
He snatches my wand from my hand and begins to run away. My first instinct is to jump on his back, ignoring his protests as I try to reach for my wand first. He manages to shake me off before I can do so, but I don't give up. I'm still trying to reach for him, for anything, but between all that wrestling, I slip from the dock and fall into the freezing water. When I emerge, my whole body is shivering and my teeth are chattering uncontrollably. I look back at the dock and Fred is still standing there, his mouth open as he stares at me in shock. And then he bursts out laughing. "You'll p-pay for this!" I shout at him but he just keeps laughing.
I hear something behind me— it almost sounds like a waterfall. But as I turn around I don't see anything of the sort.
Instead, I see a tentacle. A huge tentacle coming at me from the water.
The color drains from my face, I'm sure, and I let out a loud scream. I scream so loud that I don't hear anything else. I think Fred is shouting something, and I'm not sure if It's at me or at the giant squid, but I don't find out. I shut my eyes close but my body is frozen in place. I can't move. It might be the fear, it might be the cold, it might even be both, but I can't move a muscle.
What a terrible way to die this is.
"(Y/N)," Fred calls from the dock but I can barely hear him. My heartbeats are too fast and too loud. "It's okay, It's gone! Just swim back to shore."
I'm too busy hyperventilating to listen to him. I was just face-to-face with a giant squid— a bloody giant squid. My mind is not processing anything at the moment and all I can feel is panic, still.
I hear a splash of water nearby and a pair of arms suddenly sneak around me below the water. A small gasp escapes my lips as Fred's face appears right of mine. As if by instinct, I wrap my arms around his neck. It's the closest we've ever been. "Look at me," he says but I don't need him to. I'm already getting lost in the soothingness of his eyes. "You're okay. Nothing or no one will hurt you as long as I'm here, okay?"
I nod wordlessly. I'm still shaking uncontrollably and I probably look like a mess right now. "I'm going to get us back to shore now," He informs carefully. "Is that okay with you?"
"Y-yes, please."
As soon as I give him the green light, he picks me up bridal style and begins to swim back to shore.
We get to land safe and sound, just as he had promised. I feel a huge sense of relief the moment my feet touch land, but my arms do not let go of him and his hands are still on my waist. When I turn to face him, he's already looking down at me. "See?" he says with a chuckle. His voice is soft and comforting. "It's all good now. You have nothing to worry about."
For a moment, I seem to forget that the boy standing in front of me is the boy that I've hated for all these years. I forget all the pranks he pulled on me and my housemates, all the times he enraged and mocked me. I forget about all of that and I don't know what comes over me but I lean up and I kiss him.
I can tell that Fred is surprised by how he freezes as soon as our lips touch, but once he composes himself, he responds. He pulls me closer and tightens his grip around me, which is probably the moment that I start losing my grip on reality. A wave of warmth washes through me and it feels... nice. Especially after going out for a midnight swim. His lips feel soft against mine and It's nearly impossible to stay away from them. My hands grip his hair and he lets out a low grunt against my mouth. The sound is sinful. It makes me want more of him.
We pull away after a while, though, and none of us say anything. My eyes flutter open almost at the same time as his, and for a moment It's like a sort of dream where nothing is real.
But of course, he has to ruin it.
"Wow," Fred's dazed smile widens. "What a nice way to say 'Thank you for saving my life'."
I blink a few times and it takes a moment to snap out of my trance, and when I do I am mortified. When I finally come to all my senses, I unwrap my arms from his neck and push him away. As soon as he lets go, I start to look for my wand. I finally find it lying next to the Cup but I don't even bother to grab that. It was a mistake to even try and steal it. It has already caused way too much unnecessary drama.
Plus, I just kissed Fred fucking Weasley.
My clothes are sticking to my skin and I'm still dripping from head to toe, which just adds to my distress, but I don't let it stop me as I run back to the castle. I hear Fred calling after me but I don't turn to look back at him. I am way too embarrassed and frustrated at myself to do so.

All of The Girls You Loved Before - Poe Dameron
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello, hello! I was working on Return to Me and was inspired to write this fic. Enjoy!!
TS Prompt #5: All of The Girls You Loved Before
Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader Word Count: 1.8k Synopsis: On a trip back home, Poe and the reader are greeted by blasts from Poe's past, in the form of many ex girlfriends.
The Sebastian, the longest standing bar in Poe's town on Yavin 4, had not changed at all. Basically a large patio, it looked out onto the thick forest surrounding them, cloaked in the dark of night. Crickets chirped and frogs sang in a dull hum. Lights were strung up around the perimeter. It hadn't changed, and seeing it again felt like home.
Poe takes it all in, a smile on his face. There were times when he thought he'd never have reason to smile again, much less, visit the bar he had frequented so often throughout the years. He feels you looking at him and turns to see you smiling, too.
"Can I get you a drink?" he asks.
"Please."
"I'll be right back."
The patio is crowded as he makes his way through the strum of people. There is music playing from the corner, but he can't make out the tune over the hum of chatter. It seems that the two of you were not alone in your selection of a celebratory location.
The First Order was finally gone. What remained, was perhaps more daunting. Poe had a future in front of him, something he was never positive he would see. The possibilities were endless, and it excited and scared the hell out of him.
He tries to stay focused in the moment, and at this present moment, he wants to drink until he is silly with you, in a place he loves.
At the bar, he places your typical orders.
"I thought that was you," the bartender says. So distracted by the scene around him, Poe hadn't noticed who was tending the bar.
"Annie!" he says in surprise.
"Been a while since I've seen you here," she says, getting started on the drinks.
"It's been a while since I've been home at all," he says. He takes a moment to take her in, the long dark hair in a tight braid, her mouth twisted in a knot as she focuses on the drink in hand. "You look good," he says.
"So do you," she says with a smile. "Who's that with you?"
Poe follows her gaze across the room. You are standing off to the side, looking a little overwhelmed, but happy. He smiles.
"Y/N," he answers.
"She's not from here."
"No," he says. Annie lets out a tut of breath as she slides the drinks over to him. "What?"
"Just surprised you brought her home, and here, of all places," Annie says with a grin.
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Given your history, is all. Figured you wouldn't want her to know about your past conquests," she says. Poe opens his mouth and closes it a moment after.
"What do I owe you?"
"On the house. Thank you for all you did," she says with a nod.
"I'm just one man," he says with a shrug. "But thank you."
He makes his way back towards you, his mind thinking about the past Annie mentioned. You aren't stupid, he knows. You know about his dating history, at least within the Resistance. But there is more, much more, that you don't know about.
"Hey," you say, taking a drink from his hand as he approaches. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong," he says, snaking a hand around your waist to kiss your forehead. You smile up at him and clink your drinks with his.
"This place is just how you described."
"It hasn't changed at all."
"Any fun stories?" you ask, "Wild nights? Quickies in the bathroom?"
Poe laughs, shaking his head, "None that I remember, or that I would bore you with."
"I don't buy that for a second," you say with a laugh. "Just so happens, I already did hear one story about you."
"How?" he asks.
"That girl over there," you say, nodding across the way. There is a group of girls next to a table, laughing loudly. Poe's gaze locks with one of them, and he recognizes her instantly.
"She talked to you?" he asks, his voice rising slightly in his growing panic.
"Was she not supposed to?" you ask with a laugh, drawing his gaze back to you. "She was sweet."
"What did she say?"
"Just that you met here on a night like this," you say with a shrug, "She said you were fun." There's a playful grin on your face, but Poe has to force himself to match it.
"Well . . ."
"Do you remember her being so much fun?" you tease.
"Not particularly," he says lowly.
"Hey," you say, grabbing his arm, "I'm just teasing you."
"I know."
"So laugh," you say, bumping his hip with yours. He gives you a smile, but that's all he can bring himself to do.
"Sorry. Truthfully, I was just trying to place her."
"You don't remember her?"
"She seems familiar, but no, not really. Not sure why she remembers me."
"Can you blame her?" Your hand is in his hair, and he lets it be an anchor. He faces you fully, looking down at the woman he loves now, more than any of the others.
"Y/N, I don't want to keep anything from you. I--"
"Poe Dameron?"
You both turn to see another woman approaching. Her smile practically glows in the dark as she wraps her arms around Poe in a tight hug. You step back to give them room, Poe's eyes tracking you the entire time.
"Selene, it's great to see you," Poe says, quickly wrapping an arm around your shoulders after he breaks away from her.
"You, too," she says. Her eyes trail over to you and you extend a hand.
"Y/N, nice to meet you," you say.
"Selene. Is this your first time on Yavin-4?"
"Yes, this is the first time we've been able to get away," you say looking up at Poe.
"Oh, were you in the Resistance, too?"
"I was," you said with a smile. "Truthfully, this is the first time that Poe and I have had so much time together. In the Resistance, we were always running around the galaxy, often on opposite ends."
"Well, I won't bother you for too long, just wanted to say hello to an old friend. If you'd like, a couple of friends are here with me, most you know, Poe. Come over if you'd like.
"It was great meeting you. Enjoy your night," she says with a smile.
"You too," you say. When she's out of earshot, you look at him. "You were awfully quiet."
"Sorry, I . . ."
"How many of your girlfriends do you think we'll see tonight?" you ask. He lets out a heavy sigh before answering that he isn't sure. "Poe, you don't seem to be having a great time," you say, your face becoming serious.
"I am."
"If you want, we can go back to your Dad's. This was supposed to be fun."
"I'm having fun."
"You're a bad liar."
"It's just," he begins, his hand again around your waist, needing to keep you close, "I wasn't expecting so many visitors from my past."
"Well, what did you imagine would happen coming back to a place from your past?"
"I didn't want to bombard you with all of this."
"All of what?"
"My dating history.”
"Poe-"
"Poe! You will never guess who I just saw!" Snap joins your small group, Jess and Kare not too far behind, and throws an arm around Poe.
"Who?" he asks, his voice thick with newfound exhaustion.
"Emmamay!"
"Who's that?" you ask.
"No one," Poe answers, at the same time that Snap says, "His ex-girlfriend."
"Where is she?" you ask.
"She was heading out as we came in, but said to say hi to you," Snap says. Poe nods his head, his eyes not focusing on anything specific.
"What is that now? Three exes from your past?" you ask with a grin. Black Squadron laughs around him.
"Four actually," he says. "I dated the bartender, too. Briefly."
"Really?" you ask, eyes wide with intrigue.
"Really."
He fades into the background as his friends talk. He is lost in his own thoughts, and knows that you have looked at him a few times, hoping to pull him back into the conversation, but he can't find the energy.
"Come here," you say, after so long has passed. You grab his hand and pull him out into the middle of the room, where a group has gathered to dance. "I love this song."
"I know you do," he says softly, wrapping his hands around your waist. The both of you sway along to the music, his eyes locking on yours.
"You've been weird," you say.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry, just tell me why. Is it about all your exes?"
"I don't want you to feel like you're the latest in a long string of women."
"So what if I am?" you ask, your fingers tangling in his hair.
"You know, my history, it's not something I'm proud of."
"You think you're the only one who has a trail of broken-hearted exes behind them?"
"I know your numbers don't match mine," he says, giving you a weak smile.
"Who cares? They were all part of the path that led us to each other. If I took you home, we'd probably run into plenty of men I had dated, some whose name I can't even remember now."
"You wouldn't know their names?" he asks with a raise of his eyebrows.
"They're inconsequential, now. No matter what I felt for them then, I love you more."
"I love you more," he says deeply.
"Then stop being so moody," you say as he pulls you in close. "I don't care if we run into a million women here. They are part of your history, part of why you've become the man you are. I'm happy to meet all of them, to know their stories of you. Because they've made you the one I've fallen for."
"I love you, baby," he says again.
"I know," you say, and tilt your head to kiss him. Poe's grip on you is tight, as if he never wants to let you go.
Part of him hopes that all of his exes are watching. He wants them to see the perfect woman in front of him. Wants them to know that the stars aligned for the two of you. He wants them to see that you are the last in his long history. You are his forever, and everything else, everyone else, will fade into the past.
“Besides, if being with all these women has taught you everything you know, I’m grateful.”
“Everything I know?”
“How you treat me,” you say simply, “How you kiss me.” He places a delicate kiss to your lips. “How you are in bed . . .”
“Maybe we should get out of here,” he says, his nose at your neck. You laugh in the breathy way that makes his body tighten, but shake your head.
“Not yet. I want to enjoy this night with you. Even if we are surrounded by all of the girls you’ve loved before.”

Black Paint; Vessel (Sleep Token)
a/n: i am so fucking proud of this and i hope you absolutely love it. pls don't anyone tell brittany or else i'll fucking kms. thx.
description: brittany broski and friends go see sleep token. the group's energy catches the attention of the band.
warnings: alcohol, smut, cringe wattpad y/n moment.
Tumblr media
“Hey, guys, welcome back to the Broski report. I’m your host, Brittany Broski.”
She rambled the words out breathlessly, smile void on her face. I stifled a laugh from the seat beside her, especially as I knew the camera frame would then focus on me.
She slammed her palms down onto the table, peering over at me with a blank expression, “Bitch.”
“I know,” I shrugged. My lips were pursed together, shoulders shaking as small giggles forced their way out of my nose.
“Bitch!” She tilted her head from the microphone so as not to disturb the sound mix.
I pressed a hand to my lips, dying of laughter now. “I know!”
“Listen,” she pointed at the screen behind us, “there is no fucking time for introductions because this bitch…just ruined my life by introducing me to yet another GROUP masked men I will not and can not have!”
“I know,” I nodded solemnly, still giggling. “I’m so sorry for what I have done to you.”
“Sleep Token,” Brittany yelled. I flinched from the volume, eliciting a soft, “Oh!”
“Sleep Token, guys,” she repeated. “Listen…before we even begin, we have a disclaimer for you horny sluts.”
I licked my lip as I silenced my laughter, looking seriously to the camera. “We do not condone the search for the identity of this band. Let them exist peacefully. If you know who they are, and you comment it on either of our platforms, anywhere, you will be blocked. Be respectful, shut the fuck up, and keep the mystery alive, kay?”
“Kay. Moving on! Sleep Token!”
It was my first time being on Brittany’s podcast. I was honored to have been asked, considering she didn’t often have anyone join her. But, considering I’d introduced her to the band I was currently hyper-fixating on, she needed me to provide my personal testimony. We spent most of the video appreciating their music, pointing out our favorite drum parts, lyrics, and Vessel vocals. Of course, we thirsted over the band, too. Why wouldn’t we have? They were hot as fuck and we were just girls.
And, of course, the video blew up. Her podcast segments normally did, but this one reached new numbers even she could not have predicted. At one point, trending on TikTok was a video of me saying, “I would literally let this man do dirty, nasty, terrible things to me that my mom would disown me for. Things only bitches did in that fucking town of Sodom and Gamora. God would literally come down and rain hellfire over my apartment after I got done with that man.”
I wasn’t necessarily embarrassed by the videos that came out after my clip went viral, but it was a little silly. I just hoped the band didn’t have secret accounts that they stalked fans on. I would never want to know that- but Ijust hoped and prayed it wasn’t sure.
Soon after we posted the video, the band announced a new leg of a North American tour.
And, of course, we spent a shit load of money to get tickets.
The months drug on before it was finally time for the concert.
“Shot?”
Brittany held out the glass vial towards me, a knowing smile- brows raised, round eyes suggestive- egging me on. Not that I needed it- tonight was the perfect night to get trashed. Of course, with Brittany, that was most night’s. When we had filmed for the podcast? Oh, we were smashed.
“Duh, bitch.”
I took it from her hold, wrapped my forearm around hers, and shared a low cheer before taking the shot. Our other friend Sarah Baska, was ordering herself something at the bar. Meanwhile, the liquid burned the back of my throat, sliding down my chest in it’s fiery path. A natural lightweight, I felt warm immediately. It was also just really hot in here.
I then ordered some mixed drink. Sarah got more, harder liquor, as per usual. And, Brittany did another handful of shots for the road. After, we headed for the stairs, giggly and anticipatory. We spent extra money on a private box, both to shake our asses in a spacious area, and to be able to enjoy the concert without being bothered by fans the entire time. It was nice getting photos with them and meeting people who looked up to all of us. But, tonight, it would be nice to just exist as normal people at a normal concert. Besides, we were all here for Sleep Token. I wanted them to get all the worship that they deserved.
Not that this was a normal concert. This was, in any devoted fan’s words, a night of worship to the god of Sleep. This was a ritual. Tonight, I would be shaking my ass extra hard for the little dancing vessel’s on that stage who were so fucking attractive, I could drool.
We found our seats quickly. I was grateful for the space away from the thick, sweaty crowds- it was hot in here, even though I was wearing next to nothing. I really didn’t want my makeup- done heavier than normal thanks to Britt- to run. I did, however, hope that Vessel’s paint would smear a little extra from this heat. That was hot.
We sat down in our seats for a few minutes, gushing about finally being at this ritual. I sipped at my drink, finishing it faster than I thought possible. I tended to drink heavier when my pulse rate was this high. My chest was really warm now, and I enjoyed it. It loosened me up quite a bit. I wasn’t really introverted, but I had anxiety when it came to these situations. Liquid courage was always nice to have.
I shed my jacket on the back of my chair, exposing my midriff and bare arms. It cooled me down a bit. Brittany was rambling on about Vessel and some video she’d saw on TikTok the night before. I went to reply to her, to ask to see the video, when a staff member interrupted us, “Excuse me, ladies-”
We looked up him expectantly. His voice was quiet against the loud chatter of the crowd and the pre-show playlist thumping through the speakers. I leaned in close to him and strained to hear his next words.
“These seats have food and drink service. Would you like anything?” He graciously held out a menu.
We nodded enthusiastically and ordered another round of shots and cocktails. Just as he returned with the tray of drinks, after we occupied ourselves by watching a handful of videos on Brittany’s phone, the lights dimmed for the opener. I tipped the server as I joined the crowd, on my feet, hooting and hollering. We quickly down our shots.
The opener was pretty good. Brittany, Sarah, and I danced along to the songs, clapped when gestured to, and took a few embarrassing pictures for us to regret in the morning. I liked to spin in circles as I danced, rotating my hips to the beat. I made a stank face while doing so, drink raised to the sky like an offering. Brittany and Sarah would hype me up, pretending to swipe stacks of cash over me like rain, leaning into my momentum with hollers. The more I moved, the more the alcohol took over. I was completely lost in the music.
When the opener took a bow, Brittany, Sarah, and I screamed, loudly. Loud enough that the opener noticed us. They waved up to our seats. I jumped up and down, splashing my drink over the railing, on the floor below. I waved wildly. The opener then blew a kiss and I nearly melted. I felt like a little girl at a One Direction concert. It was awesome.
As the crew began tearing down the openers set, and putting together Sleep Token’s, more music streamed through the speakers. The server scurried off to get us more drinks.
Because the opener had noticed us- twice- a few people in the crowd turned to look up at our seats. Now that the overhead lights were back on in the venue, a bunch of fans started calling out our names, waving excitedly. As they did, I Wanna Dance With Somebody started playing and the energy in the venue lifted completely.
I set my drink down in my cup holder, needing both hands to go absolutely feral over the song choice. As the first verse began, I grabbed Brittany’s fingers in my clutch, serenading her through viscous screams. I swayed from foot to foot, hitting each beat with my hips. As Miss Houston sang, “My lonely heart calls…” I grabbed the railing from behind me, leaned myself over it, back arched and head upside down, towards the crowd. Everyone freaked out at the stupid move I did. I was sure to see clips of it in the morning.
Then, the chorus started, and we jumped around like raging lunatics. We clapped our way through the song, entertaining the crowd like we were the real show. Eventually, the crew seemed to be finishing up their work onstage. The music started to fade, the lights dimmed, and the stage lit up with bright blue. I picked my drink back up, screeching my head off as the music started.
I swear to god that the band could hear us screaming from our side of the venue, jumping around like children, holding onto each other like we just might fall over. We were louder than, probably, the rest of the crowd. They started with Chokehold, which made me nearly lose my sanity. Vessel strutted out onto the stage like a literal god, rings shining in the light, blackened skin already slick with sweat. I bounced up and down to every beat, waving my hands with the crowd, spinning in circles, downing my drink like there was no tomorrow. I didn’t focus too much on how good he looked, caught up in the music. But, god, did I know he looked insane.
At one point, Brittany and Sarah turned their phone flash on. They switched between that and taking videos on their phones, giving me all the spotlight. They made it like I was the fucking main character of the concert. And, I loved every second of it.
At one point, the bassist noticed our flashing lights and mini dance circle. He pointed up at us, nodding his head in appreciation. I screamed my head off in response, gripping the railing and whipping my hair. He raised his hands like he had to defend himself from my energy and slunk off to the other side of the stage. Brittany pointed the camera in my face, “How do you feel?!”
“I’m shitting my pants right now!”
The concert went by quickly, too quickly. IV interacted with us a bunch, too, especially after he’d scream his lyrics and we’d go wild. Vessel, unfortunately, avoided our side of the stage. He was so lost in the music which was, honestly, amazing to witness. His silly dances combined with his insane vocals made for a great show.
By the time The Offering started up, Brittany, Sarah, and I were absolutely trashed. I wasn’t too far gone because I was started to sweat out what was in my system. Yet, I was nowhere near sober. Anyways, maybe it was because we were being obnoxious and loud due to our drunken states- Vessel finally noticed us. It was at the beginning of the song, when he sang, “Take a bite…’ It came out like an animalistic growl, chilling the audience.
He pointed his hands towards our balcony, though I’d like to think he was really just pointing at me, and whispered the sultry lyric. I melted to the ground, head thrown back as I yelled. Brittany grabbed my bicep to ensure I wouldn’t fall any further. She and Sarah hoisted me back up. We cackled into each other’s shoulders annoyingly. Then, as the drums picked up, we began moving with the rhythm again.
Before we knew it, the concert was over. Vessel raised his hands in a bow. Then, he looked around the crowd, found our seats again, and shot us a small smile. I took the opportunity to blow him a kiss, enthusiastically throwing it through the air towards him. He grinned in response, looking to his feet as he shook his head, before slinking backstage.
I plopped back down into my seat, already cracking open a water bottle. My chest heaved for air. I didn’t even know how to process anything that had happened. All I knew was, “I need to eat so many fries right now,” I breathed out, sweat slicking my skin. I sipped the water slowly. I could feel myself sobering up more and more. I was a little more conscious, but so damn hungry.
Sarah was talking to some people next to us who she knew. Brittany sat beside me. “Vessel literally wants you,” she said, nonchalantly, like she had read it in that morning’s paper. “Like…holy fuck.”
I cracked a smile and wiped a bead of sweat off of my brow. I checked my reflection in my phone. Luckily, my makeup had stayed intact. I replied with a silly tone, “Don’t even get me excited like that. It’s rude.”
“No, cause, he kept looking up here after The Offering,” Brittany said in a matter of fact manner, again.
“Really?” I sat up in my seat, “No way! I must have been dancing too hard to notice.”
“Oh, you were shaking your ass,” she snickered with a grin.
“Ugh, he’s fucking sexy,” I continued on. We stared at the stage for a moment in one of those silences where neither drunk girl could really formulate any relevant response. Then, I kind of tossed my weary arms around, “Well, doesn’t matter. I bet he, like, doesn’t even date.”
“No, but he def fucks,” Brittany emphasized. We leaned into each other, laughing loudly.
Sarah turned to us at the sound. She plopped down beside me and went to add to our conversation, but the familiar staff member who’d been supplying our drinks was interrupting again. Though, this time, he didn’t have a tray of alcohol.
“Excuse me, ladies,” his favorite phrase. We all looked up at him, curious. He didn’t have to speak so loud, considering the venue was clearing out, so it was easier to hear. Whitney Houston was playing again.
“The band is wondering if you’d like to come backstage for some refreshments?” He asked so casually that it took my brain a moment to process the information.
I managed to play it really cool, but internally, I was basically shitting my pants. Brittany, however, gaped at the worker. She slowly turned her head towards Sarah and I with a wild look in her eyes, seeming like she might scream at any given moment.
Sarah snorted, “What fucking fanfiction did we just get thrown into?!”
“I don’t know, but I fucking love it,” I gushed back, staring at the worker. “What the fuck.” He shrugged back at me.
Sarah shook her head with an amused grin, waving off the worker, “Listen, yall go, have fun. My friends offered to let us go out with them, so I’m gonna split off. I don’t think I could mentally handle meeting them right now. I think I’d, like, puke all over them.”
“But, then you could say that you’ve puked on Sleep Token!” Brittany smacked Sarah’s shoulder, reaching across my body.
“Go!” Sarah shoved back, squishing me further between the two of them. “Go, so you can say that you puked on Sleep Token.”
“Yeah, I fucking will,” I pushed up out of my seat, an eager energy in my bones.
Brittany and I followed the worker down the stairs, clutching each other’s arms. He ushered us through the remaining crowd gently, though we had to stop to take numerous photos- and make the occasional TikTok- with fans. They gushed about our dance moves, our podcast episode. It made everything feel even giddier. We eventually made it up to the stage, where we were guided behind these large black curtains disguising the dimly lit area of the sides.
The crew worked hard on getting everything packed up, put away. We skirted between all of them, trying not to get in the way of it all. I kept checking my reflection in my phone’s front camera to ensure I looked okay. Most of the sweat had soaked itself up and my perfume was long lasting. Hopefully that was enough to rizz up Vessel. Not that I was counting on that. It would be awesome, but I was actually excited to have a conversation with all of them. I would soon learn that was not what he wanted from me tonight.
We went down another set of stairs and stopped before a closed door. Behind it, we could hear music playing over a speaker, a few sets of voices cheering and chattering. The worker knocked, kindly, and the voices cut themselves off.
“Come in!” A thick British accent called out.
I took a deep, drunken breath as the worker turned the door knob. And, my stomach dropped when he pulled open the door.
Sleep Token sat, lounged out across their dressing room, on various couches. They wore those familiar masks, their stage costumes- save for a few layers- and clutched some drinks in their blackened hands. My eyes found Vessel last, who was leaning against the counter of the vanity, a drink sat beside his left hand. He had shed his cloak, so visible to us was his paint-smeared chest and back. I tried not to let my eyes wander too much- but they did.
III stood from the couch, excitedly dancing his way over to the door where we stood. The worker abandoned us. “‘Ello, darlings!” III called out.
He hugged Brittany first, bent down because of his insane height. As he did, I couldn’t rip my eyes from the slits of Vessel’s mask. I somehow knew that he was staring at me- probably because his distant gaze burned my skin. Then, III was pulling me into his chest, “It’s so lovely to meet you…”
“Brittany,” she gestured to herself, then to me, “Y/n. Dude, thanks so fucking much for having us! We had an absolute blast. Your performance is just- wow!”
IV and II approached us next, as III pulled us a bit further into the room. III busied himself with pouring us each a drink as we introduced ourselves to IV and II.
“We’re so glad you had a good time worshiping,” IV cracked, hugging Brittany, “makes it all the more worth it.”
I grinned at his words as he embraced me, too, still occasionally glancing at Vessel. II added on, “Sure you’re exhausted from all that dancing. Have a seat.”
III wrapped an arm around Brittany’s shoulder, passing a drink to her hand, as he brought her onto the couch beside him. IV and II moved to stt back where they had been, probably assuming I was following. I clutched nervously to the drink III had given me. I may be drunk, but not drunk enough to not act stupid in front of men I wanted to fuck. The nerves were crashing down me instead, making me stoic, overthinking my own breathin.
I looked back at Vessel, again, who had been quiet thus far. He held out a hand, an offer for me to come sit beside him. I hesitated, for just a moment, before taking it. His fingers were warm, even his rings, and I noticed that black paint smudged itself across my skin as I took my hand from his. I leaned up against the counter beside him as I admired the paint.
III, IV, and II struck up a lively conversation with Brittany, full of teases and easy topics. I watched until I felt that burning stare on the side of my face again. I looked up at Vessel, a small smile forming across my lips. He returned the expression.
“Lovely to meet you, Y/n,” his voice was just as deep as his singing tone. It sent a shiver down my spine.
I shifted on my feet, glanced around, before returning his gaze again. “You, too, Vessel,” I took a sip of the drink in my hand.
He chuckled down at me. My knees rocked. “So…you like Whitney Houston, yeah?.”
My face turned beat red at the realization that he had seen a lot more than I hoped. I pressed a hand over my face, groaning, “Oh, god. You saw that?”
Vessel brushed his shoulder against mine. More paint took it’s place there in my skin. “I saw everything.”
I crinkled my nose, “Ugh, that was just…I don’t claim to be a good dancer, just so you know.”
Vessel shrugged, “I beg to differ.”
Shaking my head at his words, I waved him off, “Don’t even…I just, like, throw myself around like a fucking rag doll.”
“No,” he drug out the word, deep voice reverberating in my chest, “no, you have some rhythm in those hips.” His head tilted down as he eyed my body.
There was a beat of silence that passed between us. I examined his mask. I think I knew then that I wouldn’t be leaving until this man fucked me senseless, but my foggy, drunken brain thought still that maybe I was just being delusional.
It wasn’t until he opened his mouth, again, that I was certain. He drug his tongue over his bottom lip, as though he was searching for the right words to say. My eyes followed the wet, pink organ with a blank stare.
Vessel thought for another moment before leaning his mouth down towards my ear. He pressed his hand against my hip, fingers curling around my bare skin exposed there. His breath was hot against the side of my neck, though I shivered again. “I want to see how those hips would move on me.”
I flushed, bright red again, the alcohol making the heat on my blotchy skin worse. Vessel pulled away, a smirk ever-present on those pink lips, black staining the outer edges. It took all of my self control not to lick it clean, right then and there. I wanted him- needed him. And, he knew it.
Vessel searched my eyes with that curl in his lips. I was unable to come up with a proper response. But, I think he found what he was looking for in my dilated pupils and rising chest. “Be a good girl for me? Yeah?”
Vessel offered up his hand again. I entwined my fingers in his, my own smile finally finding its place on my mouth. Vessel took my cup and chugged it, tossed it into the trash, and led us from the room.
I followed like a puppy-dog, hot on his heels. He guided me so carefully, looking back occasionally to ensure I was okay. Then, he threw open a door at the end of the hallway we traveled down. It was dark in the room, with only a small lamp in the corner to illuminate our hushed desperations. Vessel locked the door behind us after he ushered me inside. He spun me around and forced himself against my chest, pressing my back against the door. It knocked the wind right out of me. My chest rose and fell as I took rapid, deep breaths. Vessel held me by my hip, again, thumb brushing against my bare skin gently.
“Is this okay?” He whispered as he brought a hand to my face, cupping my cheek.
I barely nodded, entranced by the stare coming from behind his mask. I had enough focus to touch my hands to his chest, though, running my fingers up and down his toned stomach. The paint smeared beneath my knuckles, revealing more of his pale skin. I watched it mix with our sweat with hopeless admiration in my gaze.
Vessel looked down at my hands, too, a smirk still present on his face. But, then he forced my chin up, so my eyes were on his mask, and said, “Use your words, darling.”
“Y-yes,” I shuddered, voice breathless.
Vessel pressed me harder against the door as our lips met, tongues clashing against teeth, hungrily. We moved together so easily, entranced by the other’s taste. I gripped at his sides, pulling me into him, arching my back to press my chest against his. Vessel’s hold tightened, too, and he ground my hips against his.
I felt him get hard, quickly, the loose material of his pants allowing his erection to fully grind against my thigh. He was whiney, all gasping breaths, low moans, as I drug my fingers down his chest, dipped them through his waistband. I nearly got to feel him, but Vessel grabbed my hand harshly in his, slamming it up against the door, above my head. My eyes shot back open in surprise. I don’t remember closing them.
“S’all about you right now, darling,” he demanded, words against my lips.
Vessel shoved his head into the crevice of my neck, nipping and tonguing at my flesh. My eyes dropped shut again, head hitting the door in a way that would probably hurt tomorrow. I had a feeling all of me would hurt tomorrow. But, I didn’t care.
Vessel drug his fingers up my arms, leaving goosebumps in his path, trails of black paint like a roadmap amongst my freckles. He slid the straps of my dress down past my shoulders. Then, he kissed his way down to the arch of my breasts. He rolled the material between his teeth and sunk to the floor as he drugged it down my body. Vessel was on his knees below me.
Vessel looped an arm around either of my thighs, nearly pulling my entire weight onto his shoulders. I clutched onto the top of his head, feeling some of his hair slip out from the cap he wore beneath his mask. It was soft, though just a bit sweaty. He glanced up at my bare breasts, smirking devilishly now
He admired my face as he said, “I watched you worship me all night. It’s my turn to pray at your altar.” STOPPED HERE.
My head hit the door again as Vessel sunk his tongue into me. He had managed to tear my underwear down with his teeth and they were now laying across the room. I ground my hips into his face, back arching each time his nose would then rub against my sweet spot. I tried to be quiet at first, though small gasps and moans slipped from my bitten lips.
But, then, Vessel stopped, eliciting a whine from me. He chuckled, lips slick from me. He darted his tongue out, smirking as he cleaned his mouth. He tilted his head in disappointment, “You were so loud for me earlier, darling. What happened to that good girl? I want to hear how good I am making you feel.”
I nodded, dazed, brows furrowed, fingers digging at his hair. The cap had fallen off his head at this point, but the mask managed to stay on. I was grateful it did. The mystery alive energized both of our primal desires..
Vessel watched my face as he pressed his tongue back up into me, running the tip of it down my entire core. I moaned, loudly, back arched into the cold air, nipples hard from the temperature and arousal.
He chuckled into me, making my thighs shake around his head. Vessel pried me back open with his fingers bruising my skin. He continued on until I was close. I vocalized my point of no return, and he hurriedly spoke, “Don’t. Be a good girl and wait. For me, okay?”
I nodded wildly, clenching my stomach to deny myself of the orgasm. Vessel gently set my feet back on the ground. He guided me by the hips towards a counter. Easily, he picked me up and set me on it. It was freezing cold against my bare skin, but his warm hands, tongue, were on me soon enough. I took the opportunity to unlatch his belt, fingers moving hurriedly. Vessel moved to help me, tugging the pants down his thighs.
Vessel then pushed me back from him, taking control again. He pushed my legs open further with his bare knee. Then, he grabbed me by the hips and tugged me down till my back was flat against the counter. His hand splayed across my thigh as he pushed himself inside of me.
He was sloppy, quick in desperation as he fucked me. But, every thrust he pushed into me was strong, deep. Vessel wrapped my legs around his waist, securing me by the hip. His other hand drug itself up my chest until his fingers were wrapped around my throat. Black paint smeared most of my skin. There was even a ring around his mouth where the paint had transferred from his skin to my own. I don’t know how we would manage to keep this rendezvous a secret from everyone else with the state we were both in. But, right now, I couldn’t care.
Vessel leaned himself overtop of me, his forehead against my chest. Though, he was dominating me, he was so caught up in the pleasure that he was starting to quickly come undone. I touched his back, nails digging into his skin. He tossed his head back at the sensation, neck exposed to me. I eyed the veins protruding from his skin.
He smirked at me when he noticed I was staring at his neck. He growled, “Take a bite.”
I held one hand, tightly, to his shoulder, keeping him steady as he fucked me. But, I gripped the back of his head with the other. I was slow at first, nipping at his neck gently. Vessel’s thrusts were becoming sloppy with each bite I took. I was close, too. So, I opened my jaw further, taking a pinch of his skin between my upper and lower canines. I bit down, hard.
“Fuck!”
He quickly pulled out and came on my stomach. As he did, I felt myself come undone. Vessel pressed his forehead against mine as we rode out our high. We came down from the top and he gave me a sloppy kiss.
There was a bitter cold left on my skin as he stepped back. I hugged myself, finally taking in the black paint covering my skin. “Oh, god,” I laughed.
Vessel pulled his pants up. He looked at my body, grinning, “Fuck. That’s so hot. Darling, if we had more time…”
“I know,” I smiled up at him.
“Here, there’s a bathroom over here,” Vessel spoke as he finished buckling his belt. He offered me his hand.
I followed him into the side room. He found a washcloth on the side of the sink, clean and unused, and wet it with warm water. Vessel gently pried my hands from covering my body and busied himself with wiping down my skin. He focused on what would be visible: My arms, neck, hands, face. I watched him while he worked. It was fucking hot when he was dominating, disgustingly dirty. But, this, this caring demeanor? I’d fuck him again in a heartbeat.
When he was finished, he rounded up my dress, shoes, and underwear. He turned away, without a question, while I dressed. I was no longer nervous, so I wouldn’t have minded if he watched. But, he was respectful.
“Okay,” I breathed out, pulling my final dress strap back up and over my shoulder.
Vessel faced me. I was finally able to take in his face and had to cover my mouth to stifle my laughter. He frowned, slightly, confused by my laughter. “What? What is it?”
I touched his shoulders, forcing him to face the mirror. His head pulled back in shock at his appearance.
I kept laughing and Vessel peered down at me with a tilted head. “Keep laughing, darling.”
“I’m sorry,” I shrugged, “it’s fo fucking funny.”
“What’s funny?”
I yelped, trying to duck out of the way as he jolted towards me. He caught me by the waist, rattling me around in his hold. I giggled, loudly against his chest, trying to twist out of his hold. His mouth was near my ear as he teased me, “Not so funny now, huh?”
I rested my forehead to his shoulder in my fit of laughter. Vessel calmed his movements, just holding me against him now. “It just goes to show the mess you make out of me,” he murmured against my ear, lips pressed to the shell.
I looked up at him and pointed a warning finger, “Don’t do that.”
“I know,” he huffed as he tossed his head back in frustration. “We should be getting back.”
“Sadly,” I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He admired my face for a few moments, silent, until he smiled softly, “Can I get your number?”
“Maybe,” I rolled my eyes. “I don’t know, I kind of like to just fuck and dump, ya know?”
“I won’t let you do that, darling,” his voice dropped low again.
“Okay, you’ve gotta stop doing that or I’m never going home.”
Vessel cupped my cheek in his hand, nearly void of paint, “I’d be okay with that.”
“I’m gonna walk away now.”
Vessel didn’t let go, however, as I made a move to step towards the bathroom door. In fact, he held me tighter. He pressed another kiss to my lips. “Can’t go anywhere looking that, darling,” he twisted me around to face the mirror, long arms cradling my waist.
I reached for the washcloth and wiped off my face. I faced him again and cleaned up his mouth, just enough so that it wasn’t completely obvious he’d eaten me out. We spent another moment teasing each other, eliciting more giggles from my throat. But, we figured we should get back.
So, he took my hand again and led us back down the hallway. I flushed red as soon as the door was pulled open, considering the entire band and Brittany snapped their heads towards us.
“Way to leave your sister!” Brittany exclaimed, holding up a cup of what could only be whiskey. “Dude, you’re missing out on some insane stories right now. Come, sit.” She patted the couch next to her.
I glanced up at Vessel as I took my hand from his. II, IV, and III greeted me with kind eyes and small greetings. “Hey, sorry,” I said as I plopped onto the couch. “He was just showing me the, uh…”
We hadn’t come up with an excuse. So, my words fell off my tongue with no resolution. Vessel shoved his hands in his pockets, quickly stuttering out, “Backstage. Just the backstage area. She wanted to see how everything works.”
Brittany nodded, oblivious to the elephant in the room. “Dope. You’ll have to show me next.”
“We can do a group tour,” IV offered.
Everyone agreed, enthusiastically, and we all stood to pile out the door. III and I were the last ones seated. I met his dark eyes, smiling kindly at him. His gaze dropped to my thighs, brows raising beneath his mask suggestively.
I followed his eyes down. Where my dress had ridden up my thighs was a long line of smeared paint, not to mention reddened hickies that were starting to sprout up. I pressed my lips together and quickly tugged the material down over my legs.
III patted my knee as he stood, “You were the one going crazy during The Offering, love.”
I gaped after him as his words lingered in the air before me. Vessel stood just beside the door, awaiting my presence. As III passed by him, he took Vessel by the chin and tilted his head.
He tsked at the bruising bite mark on Vessel’s neck. I shoved my face into my hands, face beyond burned.
III whispered, “Take a bite.”
It wasn’t until a few days later, when Brittany and I were hanging out, looking through concert videos with nostalgia, that she found out. I was nervous to tell her. Besides, Vessel and I were starting to see each other, so I didn’t want to expose his private life too much. I trusted her, but I just overthought it all. Apparently, though, I hadn’t enough overthinking.
I had just made a post on Instagram, making the photo we took with the band the cover photo for a dump. It blew up immediately. Brittany and I were reading comments as they came in, dying of laughter at some of the shit people were saying.
“No, hand placement is so real!” Brittany exclaimed. She shoved her phone in my face, showing me the zoom-in of Vessel’s hand on my hip. I blushed and shoved it away. She kept scrolling.
“Wait,” her voice trailed off.
I glanced at her and watched as her brows furrowed. She tapped around, zoomed in a bunch, scrolled through comments. I looked back to my phone just as a new comment began blowing up with responses and likes.
User- so is no one gonna talk about vessel’s paint on y/n’s thigh and her very obvious sex hair?
“YOU FUCKING BITCH!”

~ Just Smile ~
"You would look prettier if you smiled more."
"Why don't you ever smile?"
"Just smile."
You're used to comments like that, often hearing them from your classmates at Hawkins High...
But, here's the thing—
#1: My Smile
You hate your smile, often giving people the closed-mouth smile or a tight thin-lipped smile that doesn't quite ever reach your eyes. But, you refuse to smile with your teeth.
This makes one day very hard for you every time it comes.
Picture Day.
A day made from Hell to torture you, where people reassure you—"Oh!, it's not that bad..." or "Everyone looks bad in school photos." Really? Tell that to the Queen of Hawkins High, Chrissy Cunningham, or Steve 'the Hair' Harrington, or Heather Holloway, or Nancy Wheeler—even Robin seems to pull out a good one.
But, you?
Freshman Year—
"Big smile!" the photographer instructed.
And did you give her one-flashing your teeth... only to receive said photo later on just to cry to your mom about how bad it looked... and that your teeth looked wrong. The demon in your head won the longer you stared at the photo.
"Honey, it's fine—no one likes their school photos."
It was after all the other girls and boys bragging about their photos did you swear you'd never smile with your teeth in photos again.
Sophomore Year—
You prepared yourself, watching the person before you take their picture. Hearing the lady call 'next' with a short glance toward you. You took a deep breath, walking to the seat. When you sat down, your heart began to race a little—a rush of adrenaline coursing through your veins.
It felt as though things were moving in slow motion, a deep, patronizing voice, "Give me a big smile". The lady demonstrated, exaggeratedly.
Your eyes flickered to a group of your classmates, snickering at you with pointed fingers. They taunted your smile with their own.
"Big smile!" the lady repeated.
You heard the laughs of the group echoing in your ears, you quickly revealed your teeth in a wide grin. The flash of the camera temporarily blinding you.
"Next!'
You blinked a few times before moving along. You shuffled past the group until you heard the call of your name from one of them. With that you spun around to face them with nervous, wide eyes, and a once again, pounding heart.
One of the teenagers smiled at you, a fake, catty, insulting smile as they stalked closer to you. "Thought you'd want to know you have something—" They gestured to their mouth, specifically their teeth "Right there."
One of their friends snorted loudly in the back.
You frowned and went to the bathroom in a slight rush to check it out. When you found your own reflection in the mirror you bared your teeth only to find... your teeth—your smile.
All you saw was yourself.
Quickly understanding, you felt yourself falling apart—
Is that why they laugh at you when you smile and say hello passing them in the halls?
You thought you heard it in their tone—the fakeness of it all.
You ripped up your school photo when you got it after witnessing the same group as before commenting on it with their giggles and chuckles. You blocked your face with tape in your yearbook, so you'd never have to see yourself looking back.
Is that why they all laughed when you signed their yearbook the previous year? You only dug yourself farther into a hole, thinking about what would happen next.
That's when you swore you'd never smile again.
Junior Year—
The year you got a certain metalhead's attention.
He was in the same grade as you, and you shouldn't have even met, but you purposely ditched picture day and your mom forced you to go to retake day. Turns out you weren't the only one who hated this day.
The two of you grumbled under your breath, overhearing him next to you caught your attention.
"Mom forced you to do this too?" you asked.
"Uncle."
You chuckled, breathily. "What was his excuse?"
His posture straightened. "'You can't just run away and hide when you don't want to do something, boy! You have to stand up to it!'" he imitated this so-called 'uncle's' voice.
You giggled, but stopped when you suddenly felt his eyes on you. You dared to look and saw his gaze on your teeth. You cleared your throat and turned away from him.
You missed the way he frowned, as he missed the sight of your smile and the sound of your laugh in just seconds.
"What about you?" he chimed from behind you.
"Huh?" You kept your guard up, still turned away from him.
"Your mom's motive?"
"Oh—yeah! " You swallowed. "That I'll regret it one-day." You shook your head. "I highly doubt that though."
"Why didn't you attend picture day?"
"Tried to pull a you—ditch—avoid it..." you paused. "Run away from it." You suddenly found the palm of your hand more interesting than the beautiful boy behind you—actually wanting to talk to you!
You heard him chuckle. "Sounds like you and my uncle think the same of me."
"I don't know you—but I don't think you're a cult leader, that's for sure."
"But, most people do, hence why I try to get away with not doing this.” He gestures to the setup in front of you two. “Have no doubt they write freak over my face, or draw devil horns over my head in their little yearbooks."
There was a beat of silence and you could feel the slight nudge of his foot against yours.
You bit your lip, thinking about what he said. What he admitted to you so effortlessly. How could he trust you so fast without even knowing your name—who you are?
You sigh, "I hate my smile."
"C'mon, I just saw it and it's—"
"Ugly—I know."
"No, I was gonna say—"
" Next!"
You don't look back when you walk up ignoring Eddie.
"Show me a big smile!" she asks.
You, however, do not, giving her only a neutral expression. She takes the picture and looks down at it, uncomfortably.
"Uhhh... want me to take another one?"
"No." You left, hastily.
Eddie ignored the call for him as with narrowed eyes, watching you leave, he sets his own personal goal—
To get you to smile for him one day.
Senior Year—
"Ready for picture day, sweetheart?" Eddie asked, placing a sloppy kiss onto your cheek.
You grumbled, wiping his kiss away. "No."
He placed yet another kiss on your cheek in replacement of the old one. "I know, I know." He drummed a steady beat against the sides of your torso. "But, you look beautiful today, but then again you always do."
You grew flustered. "Thanks," you whispered.
"Next!'
You walked up to the seat and took your place.
"Big smile!"
You glared at the lady. "Seriously? I thought we were past this now."
Your eyes flickered to Eddie who gave you an encouraging thumbs up and a nod with an annoyingly cute smile on his face. That was enough for you to muster up a small closed-mouth smile and that was enough to make Eddie's heart soar.
Safe to say, he accomplished his goal.
Present—
Eddie did not accomplish his goal.
God, you haven't smiled in a week—a week! And at this point he thought he was going to lose his mind.
You've been having a tough week. With your allergies acting up, to school and work stressing you out, to even those special, rare moments of silence you have, only to have them be interrupted by one thing or another. And he tried, he tried to get you to even break a little smile for him, but he just couldn't do it.
Something had to be wrong.
Something was wrong, on your side of the story. Work, school, allergies, and lack of peace haven't been the only things keeping you up late at night. It was this intrusive thought every time you looked in the mirror, it was the people you interacted with at work whose gaze simply rested on your smile that made you falter, the once in a while backhanded comments people would make. You couldn't find it in yourself anymore to smile or even laugh—you felt exhausted and defeated.
Because it was you, your smile, something you owned—and people didn't like it. And at times you think you're cursed.
It's you.
You stumbled around your room, picking up random pieces of trash off the floor, and tidying things up before bed. You felt a slight pressure in between your eyebrows from wanting to cry a few times during your episodes.
You sighed and collapsed onto your bed. Just before you were about to get comfortable you heard a faint tapping on your window. You jumped at the sound, until you saw a familiar ring adorning a finger. You got up and walked over to the window, opening it.
"What are you doing here?" you ask, tiredly.
He only smiled. "I got some stuff for you." His eyes glanced behind you. "Can I come in?"
You rolled your eyes and moved to the side, giving him room for him to enter. "Come on in, Prince Charming."
His smile got wider, stepping inside, and nearly tripping on a small stack of books near your window. He revealed a bouquet of your favorite flowers. "For you." He handed them to you. You took them, with a curious expression. Suddenly, he's rifling through a plastic bag he brought. "Okay, so I got Breakfast Club, Nightmare on Elm Street, I even brought The Outsiders, and that other movie you like uh—" He read the title. "Some Kind of Wonderful."
Your eyes widened. "You brought all of those."
"Well, I thought we could have a little movie night," he replied, nonchalantly. "I also brought your favorite snacks and candy, even your favorite drink." He looked at your dumbfounded face. He set down the bag and brought his hands up to caress your upper arms. "Look, I know you've been having a bad week and I want to make it a little better."
Your eyes avert away from him. You sniffled, holding the flowers closer to your chest. "I don't deserve you, you know."
He shook his head. "Not true."
You argued, "No, no it is true, you deserve someone who you can show off to—to prove those jerks from school wrong, and I-I can't do that."
He frowned. "What do you mean?"
Tears rimmed your eyes. "Eddie, why are people so mean?"
He was taken aback. "Sweetheart..." He gently took the flowers out of your hands and placed them on your dresser. He pulled you into his chest. "What's wrong? Did someone say something to you?"
You nodded. "Yes..." You cry into his shirt.
"Who? I'll go kick their ass right now."
"No! It's—" You found yourself becoming embarrassed. "it's not just one person—so many people just—" You struggled to get the words out. "I just want to be able to smile without feeling judged—I feel like I'm forced to remain in bitch-face mode just so I don't have to deal with people staring or commenting or doing something that revolves around that—especially our classmates.” You pulled away to look him in the eyes. "I just want to feel beautiful when I smile Eddie."
He looked at you in shock at your confession. He knew you hated your smile, that was the start of you two, but hearing it now as someone more than a stranger was heartbreaking to him. Seeing the one he's so so in love with falling apart in front of him over something he couldn't stop thinking about for months and months.
"God, sweetheart, don't you see I'd do anything to keep you smiling."
"What?" You furrowed your eyebrows.
"I know you hate your smile, but god—I love it. I've loved it ever since I met you, and from that moment I wanted to make you smile everyday. Lights up my world and shit, if I'm being honest." He seemed nervous, fidgeting with the ends of your shirt.
"You mean it?" Your voice slightly cracked as the emotions of love rushed through you. You're almost starstruck by him. Over the moon. Your heart flutters and your stomach flips seeing the sincerity in his eyes.
Has he always looked at you that way? Have you just never noticed?
Truth is: Yes, he has, and no... you didn't.
"Jesus, yes, you're so beautiful and that smile of yours is beautiful," he pauses. "And who fucking cares what anyone says? Or thinks? Fuck them!"
You laughed.
His eyes widen as he stumbles back with a dazed expression. "I think I just died—" He dramatically falls on the bed. "And went to heaven," he finished. "Are you an angel?"
You laugh again, this time louder. "Stop it," you squeal.
"I'm serious." He pulls you over to him. You slot between his legs as he looks up at you with a slight pout. "I want you to talk to me when you're feeling insecure about yourself. I don't want you bottling up your feelings." He cups your face with the warmth of his hands to make sure he has your full attention. "I love every single thing about you, sweetheart. And I'll do anything and everything for you to realize that, no matter how long it might take. "
If only you knew just how serious he was.
