Last post of the year! So here's something I drew to play around with some new markers I got for Christmas. Plus! A digitally coloured version because I loved the lineart so much, I scanned it so I could practice with digital rendering.
Wishing you all a faz-errific 2024!
The lineart is under the cut.
Still love this version. I was inspired by all the cool fanart I've been seeing in the fandom and wanted to play around with lines and shapes. That's why Sun is drawn is friendly curves and rounded edges while Moon is all sharp and angled. Kinda wanna try the reverse now. Maybe next year 😜

OUAHFGHGHHH that was so sweet.... mazey wanting to break out twister and then being shamed for being childish and fig, a dope ass rock star with a leather jacket and fishnets says "hey, I would fucking love to play twister" like. the way fig is so genuinely kind sometimes. those pictures of punks letting kids touch their mohawk spikes. yknow what I mean?

Katniss in the first book is so funny because beyond her being absolutely wrong in nearly every assumption she has of Peeta. Every other chapter she’s like “two can play that game” about him being deceptive and then she utterly fails at it.

thinking about mizu from blue eye samurai. thinking. thinking so much. thinking about how mizu operates outside of gender. like we joke about her gender being revenge but straight up? it literally is. like she grew up as a boy and is most comfortable being a man, but behind that is the feeling of betraying himself because he isn't being honest about who he is and he lives in fear of being discovered. and when he lived as a woman, she found joy there as well. she fell in love, and though she wasn't good at it, she liked being a wife and enjoying a simple life. but in that life too, she isn't being honest about who she is. and when she reveals her true self, it's not a woman, she's a demon, a weapon. she's to masculine to be a woman, and too feminine to be a man. ultimately, mizu is most comfortable when they are being a murder machine. that's when they feel they are being the most true to themself. like a sword, they are neither man nor woman, but a blend of both, which makes them stronger.

I love how cheery her greeting dialogue is even if everyone else is having the worst day of their lives
