As for why it’s swords only, it’s mainly due to the fact that a lot of their culture centers around steelwork, and most of steelwork when it comes to weaponry is…swords, they go a bit hand in hand. Archery is used but it’s not a very utilized skill in Penumbra, whereas everybody and their baby can wield a sword or dagger.

So Adachi and Maruki make Joker decide which reality will be best for humanity. If Joker picks Maruki’s, Maruki still tries to erase himself from existence. The reality warps Adachi’s appearance to be much healthier - weighs more, nicer hair, no bags under his eyes - but he’s the only one who starts to notice Maruki slipping from reality because of Ameno-Sagiri still in him. He decks Maruki in the face to try and snap him out of it.

If Joker picks Adachi’s, shadows and fog take over and reality starts to crumble. Maruki starts out heartbroken, but Adachi convinces him so much to try and use destroying people and things to get revenge that it kind of breaks Maruki into being a maniacal killing machine, and Adachi eventually comes to the realization that he’s made one bond and immediately fucked it up, so he decks Maruki in the face to try and snap him out of it.

Something something being always happy without stopping and feeling nothing at all are basically the same choice

the best ending (besides stealing their hearts) is if Joker doesn’t make a decision at all. They put Joker to sleep, Adachi berates him for not even being able to flip a coin to make a decision, and then the besties basically become gods or something. But more importantly they’re both happy and best friends. They have a deal with how to rule reality: Nice people get a utopia where they’re always happy, but just outside the foggy borders is the Magatsu hell that awaits them if they fucked up enough in the previous reality - or if they try and fight back.

however, eunji used her badger form as a way to relax, because she could escape from all her problems by turning into a woodland animal and going to take a comfy nap in some flowers

her friends were ecstatic when she told them she had become a badger

but the badgers followed the two home and now the hufflepuff house has two pet badgers

she was average, not a prodigy but not bad either

ended up quitting in sixth year to focus more on her studies, namely charms

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: EUPHORIA (Part 1)

Y/N paid the cab, stumbling out of the car and racing towards that one spot she always went to.

It was that one spot where Soobin was supposed to ask her to be his girlfriend.

That one spot they always went to, where they shared many memories in.

As the now-cold sand crawled in between her toes, Y/N stumbled once more—holding onto a nearby boulder for balance as she reached that spot.

From there, she can see a person curled up in a small ball on a blanket, hugging his knees tighter to his chest as he stared out at the setting sun.

As she approached, she can feel him getting tenser and tenser.

“I-I’ll leave in a bit,” He said as Y/N sat next to him.

“Please don’t,” Y/N mumbled, sighing as she hugged her knees too—her head leaning on his shoulder.

The boy relaxed, sighing as he reluctantly rested his head on hers.

“Okay,” he breathed out.

For a moment, it was silent.

There was nothing but the dull crashing of the waves against the shore, and the occasional squawk of a seagull.

After a while, Soobin sighed.

His hand reached down to clench and unclench on the blanket they sat on as he gulped.

“H-How is Yeonjun-hyung?” He asked, looking down. “Is he treating you good?”

Y/N pursed her lips, her eyes softening as she observed the boys’ red-rimmed eyes and fatigued composure.

“You’ve been crying,” she noted.

“I wasn’t.”

“You promised me you’d take care of yourself,” Y/N frowned.

“No,” Soobin shook his head. “I promised Beomgyu,”

“I know you know ful-well that promise wasn’t for Beomgyu,” Y/N raised her eyebrows.

Soobin sighed again, leaning his head on hers once more—frowning at the open skies.

“Yeah, sorry,” Soobin said.

“Did you really love me that much?” Y/N asked.

Soobin hummed, following her hands with his eyes as it slowly reached over and took a hold of his.

“I—“

“I loved you. I loved you so much, and I love you still,” Soobin said, intertwining their hands.

“Oh,” Y/N said, nodding as she bit her lip. “Then, I’m sorry,”

His shoulder slumped for a fraction of a second before he composed himself once more, taking a deep breath.

“Okay,”

Y/N sighed, straightening up—squeezing his hand tight.

“It must have hurt letting me go.” Y/N mused.

Soobin chuckled sadly, shaking his head with a sad smile.

“Like a bitch.”

“I’m really sorry, Soobin.”

Soobin shook his head once more, breathing heavily as he stood up.

“It’s okay, you pick him,” Soobin sighed, dusting his clothes as he stood up. “I figured.”

“What do you mean?”

“I-I mean I could tell that you were so happy. With Yeonjun-hyung, I mean,” Soobin said, pocketing his hands and avoiding eye contact with the girl. “I—How could I ever compete with Choi Yeonjun, you know? He’s Choi Yeonjun,”

Y/N stood up slowly, a sad smile on her face as she walked over to cup his face.

“Soobin?”

“I—You don’t have to apologize. I was stupid to ever think I stood a chance fighting against hyung. I mean, I’m just Soobin, you know? I’m nobody, I—“

“Soobin, I choose you.”

At this, all words spilling out of Soobin’s mouth stopped as he turned over to the girl with wide eyes.

“What?”

“I’m choosing you,” Y/N sighed, pulling her hands away and locking them behind her back as she looked over to the sea. “I choose you over Yeonjun, so don’t ever say that you’re nobody, or that you can’t stand a chance.”

Soobin floundered in his spot as Y/N looked back over at him with a small smile, tilting her head.

“You do, Soobin,” Y/N said, shrugging. “I love you.”

Soobin didn’t reply, only blinking in his spot.

After a few seconds, Y/N sighed and bit her lip.

“Um,” She started as she scratched the back of her neck, taking a small step back. “I should really g—“

Without missing a beat, Soobin’s hands reached out to pull her back to him.

His head leaned down, eyes closed, as he pressed his lips on hers for the first time in months.

There was everything and nothing in the kiss—the two didn’t know what to feel except the other.

Y/N pressed deeper, eyes closed as she let her hands snake around his neck and run through his hair.

Y/N smiled as Soobin pulled away with a loving smile—the first of many he’d give her for the years to come.

“I love you,” He breathed, smiling widely.

“I love you, too.” Y/N said happily, giggling as Soobin pressed pecks to different parts of her face as he told her I love you over and over.

She smiled, pulling his face away to cup it between her hands.

He giggled, his smile reaching from ear to ear, and leaned his forehead on hers.

“It’s you, Soobin. It’s always been you,” Y/N said, smiling brightly as she brushed her lips with his.

“I love you too,” Soobin replied, leaning back down to place a kiss on her lips. “Let me show you how much,”

Sokka watched from afar as you and the arrow-headed boy passed a large water droplet through the space separating the two of you. You had both wanted to get some practice in and you had thought it best to give Katara a break. He huffed, his arms subconsciously folding over his deflated chest when he leaned against Appa, his fluffy coat surrounding him.

“Hey, Katara, why aren’t you training Aang today?” He asked, trying to sound as neutral as ever but failing miserably. Toph chuckled lightly when Katara turned to her brother and smiled.

“Y/N said she would train him today, to give me a break.” She looked back at you and Aang, a smile coating her features but dropping when Sokka continued to press the issue, that shouldn’t have been an issue.

“Don’t you think they’re having way too much fun to be just training?” A twang of jealousy seeped through his words and a scowl took control of his face when he looked back over and you were laughing at something that the avatar had said. You clutched your stomach, cheeks aching and Sokka’s lips turned up slightly at the sight of you being so happy.

“Of course not. We always have fun while training, it’s no big deal. And it’s no different because Y/N is training Aang today.” Sokka sighed at his sister’s words, knowing she was right but still not being able to rid of the aching in his heart when he watched the two of you. He grew a pit in his stomach that made him sigh again.

“Stop doing that. It’s ticking me off.” Toph scoffed loudly and the boy frowned, taking a seat on the floor before very quickly standing back up in protest when he heard splashing from where you were.

“This is ridiculous! Katara, all of your hard work is going to waste. Look, they’re not even training; they’re having way too much fun. You should probably go and join them, to put them back in line and—“

“Sokka, are you jealous that Y/N is having fun with Aang?” A smirk tugged at Katara’s lips when she locked eyes with him and panic consumed his body instantly.

“What? No, o-of course not. Why would I be jealous? That’s one thing I’m definitely not, is jealous. Pfft, as if. Jealous? Why would you even suggest that?” Quite quickly after that, Sokka made his way to his tent, huffing at every available opportunity.

“He’s lying.” Toph smirked, her palm flush against the ground.

After a while, you and Aang decided to join the others, sitting down beside them.

“How was training?”

“It was good! We got a little distracted at the end, but it’s okay because I won.” A triumphant grin possessed your lips and Aang frowned in confusion.

“What do you mean, you won? There was nothing to be won.” The four of you laughed before a very loud sound interrupted you all. “What was that?”

“My stomach?” You grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of your neck nervously. “I haven’t eaten all day.” Katara passed you a fish that had been caught and cooked earlier and you smiled gratefully, thanking her before digging in. When you were halfway through your food, your brows knit together and Katara looked at you questioningly.

“Where’s Sokka? He’s normally always out here, trying to steal everyone else’s food.” You asked, swallowing the last of the food that was in your mouth while Toph smirked.

“He stomped off to his tent earlier. He was mad about one thing or another.” She shrugged and you grabbed another one of the fish, standing.

“I’m gonna go see if he wants something to eat.” You made your way to Sokka’s tent, calling out his name softly, in case he was asleep. “Hey, Sokka? I brought you something to eat.” He snatched it from you, not even muttering something of a thank you before gulping it down as fast as he could. “Are you okay? You seem in a real bad mood, what happened?”

“Surprised you even noticed with all the fun you were having with Aang earlier.” Your eyes widened at his suggestion and you looked at him, completely confused.

“Okay, is that what this is about? The fact that Aang and I had a little fun during training?”

“Yeah! You never laugh that hard at my jokes. You never have that much fun with me.” You knelt down to his level and cupped his cheeks in your hands, looking right into his sad eyes.

“I always have that much fun with you. Even more, actually. I love spending time with you, more than anything. I love you, more than anything.” Suddenly his warm lips were pressed against yours, moving harshly against them. You found it difficult at first to keep up with his fiercely moving lips but eventually the two of you found the perfect tempo. His hand reached up to press against the back of your neck, pushing you even closer to him while your mouths moved rhythmically with one another. Your arms snaked around his neck as his free hand found its way to your waist and you gently played with the ends of his hair. You tugged softly, swallowing the moan that left his mouth before you both pulled away, pressing your foreheads gently against each other.

“Now, you can stop being so jealous all the time. Hm?” You grinned and he pulled you in for another kiss which you gladly accepted, smiling against his lips.

“I’ll try.”

“There’s nothing you need to worry about, I promise. I love you and you only. Okay?” He nodded at your words and you smiled, pecking his lips gently before resting your head on his shoulder. He pressed a kiss to your forehead before your eyes fluttered closed.

“I love you too, Y/N.”

okay; the fact that there are people on tiktok who stan jatp but don’t?? like??? willie??? do they understand that without willie, the story wouldn’t have any stakes???? ALSO the fact that they’re villainizing this boy for being enthusiastic and wanting to show off this cool guy he knows to these cool guys he just met - there’s nothing in the script or in booboo’s performance that suggests that he knew what caleb was gonna do to them. also the fact that majority of the people who don’t like willie ship endgame lalex is just 🤭that’s some yt bullshit right there lmao i’m incredibly uncomfortable about the level of which they’re villainizing this young person of colour for doing something unintentionally when in the script the boys have forgiven him (clearly) AND after he helped them book that gig at the orpheum.
