And no, he ain't alive anymore, good riddance! Yeah, he got that stupid face of his smashed in or somethin', it don't matter much ta me. I'm just glad he's dead, and I'm sure every Bendy clone thinks so as well! His body rotted in that office of his and whatever remains he had got burnt up when the old studio burnt down.

The only regret I have is that I wasn't the one who did it....

Clove Lane Residential Rental

OK so finally finished 😅 I mean... I could go on fiddling forever with this lot but hey, I'm happy enough with the result. A residential block in San Myshuno with an art gallery and center, a bar, a Tomarani eatery, a cafeteria, a café, a community greenhouse, a kid's play area, and a little marketplace for your Sims to make some extra cash. Oh, and a spa. 6 rental units, 5 apartments with 2 bedrooms and one bath each, unfurnished except for the bathroom and kitchen, and a townhouse, unfurnished. Download and more info under the cut.

To make the "community" venues functional you can use either the Auto Employee mod by @littlemssam or this mod by @down-in-simsland, both work great, it's up to your preference. Littlemssam's is more flexible, you can allow or disallow the NPCs as you wish, and it gives you the option to hire massage therapists and a busker (and a caterer since the apartments have a stove and a fridge, haven't tested it but if your Sim hates cooking why not?). On the other hand DISL's is specifically designed for residential rentals and will bring more Sims to your lot, and the NPCs work on a realistic schedule. And if you don't like using mods you can still hire any NPC for 100$ (I haven't tested if this mod works on residential lots).

Conversely you could add a venue to a residential unit and use Littlemssam's Live in Business mod.

I know, so many options LOL!

The art gallery includes the Street Gallery item for your painter Sims to sell their work, and the room in the back is a little community art center with an easel and a woodworking table. Sims with the wellness skill can also earn money by giving massages at the spa (I tried giving a yoga class but nobody showed up but I guess it works if your Sim invited a few people over?) There's also a sales table and a HCH food stand in the outdoor area at the back, and a greenhouse with a flower arrangement table, tough I can't promise your neighbor won't steal your crops...

I think that's about it. Oh, disclaimer: Sims are dumb, they'll order food at the diner and eat it in the bar, or if they have the neat trait they might want to clean all the dishes on the lot 🤷🏼‍♂️ I recommend disabling autonomy, but still, that's how it is... also the lot and unit names won't "stick", hope that get fixed at some point.

The lot costs 230.916$ and is 30x30, I placed it on the Waterside Warble lot, but the Old Salt House lot is the same size.

I think I must have used items from every single pack out there, and remember to enable MOO before placing. Have fun!

It's so cool that you're a computer science student, and with that, you have plenty of options for personal projects that can help with learning more from what they teach you at college. I don't have any experience being a university student however 😅

Someone asked me a very similar question before because I shared my projects list and they asked how I come up with project ideas - maybe this can inspire you too, here's the link to the post [LINK]

However, I'll be happy to share some ideas with you right now. Just a heads up: you can alter the projects to your own specific interests or goals in mind. Though it's a personal project meaning not an assignment from school, you can always personalise it to yourself as well! Also, I don't know the level you are, e.g. beginner or you're pretty confident in programming, if the project sounds hard, try to simplify it down - no need to go overboard!!

But here is the list I came up with (some are from my own list):

Personal Finance Tracker

A web app that tracks personal finances by integrating with bank APIs. You can use Python with Flask for the backend and React for the frontend. I think this would be great for learning how to work with APIs and how to build web applications 🏦

Online Food Ordering System

A web app that allows users to order food from a restaurant's menu. You can use PHP with Laravel for the backend and Vue.js for the frontend. This helps you learn how to work with databases (a key skill I believe) and how to build interactive user interfaces 🙌🏾

Movie Recommendation System

I see a lot of developers make this on Twitter and YouTube. It's a machine-learning project that recommends movies to users based on their past viewing habits. You can use Python with Pandas, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow for the machine learning algorithms. Obviously, this helps you learn about how to build machine-learning models, and how to use libraries for data manipulation and analysis 📊

Image Recognition App

This is more geared towards app development if you're interested! It's an Android app that uses image recognition to identify objects in a photo. You can use Java or Kotlin for the Android development and TensorFlow for machine learning algorithms. Learning how to work with image recognition and how to build mobile applications - which is super cool 👀

Social Media Platform

(I really want to attempt this one soon) A web app that allows users to post, share, and interact with each other's content. Come up with a cool name for it! You can use Ruby on Rails for the backend and React for the frontend. This project would be great for learning how to build full-stack web applications (a plus cause that's a trend that companies are looking for in developers) and how to work with user authentication and authorization (another plus)! 🎭

Text-Based Adventure Game

If you're interested in game developments, you could make a simple game where users make choices and navigate through a story by typing text commands. You can use Python for the game logic and a library like Pygame for the graphics. This project would be great for learning how to build games and how to work with input/output. 🎮

Weather App

Pretty simple project - I did this for my apprenticeship and coding night classes! It's a web app that displays weather information for a user's location. You can use Node.js with Express for the backend and React for the frontend. Working with APIs again, how to handle asynchronous programming, and how to build responsive user interfaces! 🌈

Online Quiz Game

A web app that allows users to take quizzes and compete with other players. You could personalise it to a module you're studying right now - making a whole quiz application for it will definitely help you study! You can use PHP with Laravel for the backend and Vue.js for the frontend. You get to work with databases, build real-time applications, and maybe work with user authentication. 🧮

Chatbot

(My favourite, I'm currently planning for this one!) A chatbot that can answer user questions and provide information. You can use Python with Flask for the backend and a natural language processing library like NLTK for the chatbot logic. If you want to mauke it more beginner friendly, you could use HTML, CSS and JavaScript and have hard-coded answers set, maybe use a bunch of APIs for the answers etc! This project would be great because you get to learn how to build chatbots, and how to work with natural language processing - if you go that far! 🤖

Another place I get inspiration for more web frontend dev projects is on Behance and Pinterest - on Pinterest search for like "Web design" or "[Specific project] web design e.g. shopping web design" and I get inspiration from a bunch of pins I put together! Maybe try that out!

So, I finally got around to playing the update. Here my thoughts

But before that quick fun facts, this update was great for me since I 💯 percent forgot my og mc so I got to play around with the one I headcanon about. Her name is Megara Theban, she has a daughter named Deianira Calydon Theban. (If you ever watch Disney's Hercules or a Greek nerd. you know, you know bonus if you know what Deianira name translates to but for me definition I took nice version than what really means)

One: I really like how it goes so far, and I'm just very excited to see the birthday party (totally not because I like to see the world burn and invite all my Ros. Which is totally not awkward since Meg decided to have one night stand with best boi)

Two: the Hookups are very interesting I'm more intrigued on how Harlem will play out and this isn't me just saying it because we happen to share username (pss: I do love them tho lol only what few interactions and I'm yes your my new fav haha)

Three: Brenda... Yeah I both hate and like here. On one hand I understand why she would ship /projecting since she knows and in certain cases seem them dating and they were really good together, the other she recently divorce and seeing mc have more options while not really looking for them could make anyone jealous. HOWEVER if you're playing a route and don't want ex to be ro (in other words you are going for a different route but have ex as an ex) she can be quite annoying especially when she playing matchmaker when unwanted. (Ex my meg is going for slowburn with ex so in beginning she more cold to him. But also cold to Brenda since one she involved herself in something that has nothing to due with her and two feels little bit push into unwanted relationship since she keeps bring it up and hope for them together.) Tldr: I can see if she has some haters but I see the nuance

Four: I'm very interested on how far the neighbor war will go especially now it's involves mc's work (aka the Barlow project) and what happened if find one of the homeless people did it (meaning what they arrest someone who involved aka pay to do it but they don't find the mastermind)

Lol that was long.... 😅 but very deep and insightful. It's like you really went in there and analyzed every little detail and I'm loving it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Totally agree about the hookups VS ROs because I'm starting to feel like some of them are very interesting.. for example Officer Costa in one of the dialogue, MC can find out that they are a Widower/Widow. Imagine the love story I could write with that prompt alone. The whole way of meeting MC during a call for vandalism, then hooking up with MC and thinking well maybe it was just that... just a one night stand and Costa finding themselves falling in love with MC like... still my poor heart.💕💕💕💕

I like the Brenda take because I feel like it makes Brenda more of a 3 dimensional character. Often we have friends like that who would ship us with someone regardless of how we feel about said love interest and having MC being able to feel some type of frustration with Brenda will be a good thing.

The most feedback I get about Brenda is that... why is she always telling Barlow everything about my MC like... Girl!!! Stop telling Barlow my business!!! 🤣

But yeah... the story is getting at the point where ROs and hookups will start to be aware of each other... because Lemon is a small town!!!! and, also the plot with the neighbor will thicken... so excited to write the next few chapters. 💕

Last Song I Listened To: Cherry Ocean by Robert Stillman. So good

My Favourite Color: I think we're going with ultramarine blue. (not aquamarine! ppl get confused when I say ultramarine for some reason. It's the pigment made from lapis lazuli. I used to call it twilight blue.)

Last Film/Show I Watched: Great British Bake Off. I usually have it on in the background when I eat dinner or give my cat fluids. I cycle through them from season 1-now constantly (I found the earlier seasons on Roku TV!!) because it's soothing and doesn't take too much emotional investment. Even though I usually cry at the end of every episode lmao

Sweet, Savory or Spicy: sweet sweet sweet but usually after savory. spicy gives me heartburn 😅

Last Thing I Googled: St. Vincent's birth chart

My Current Obsession: I have a lot of things pulling my mind in all different directions right now and that usually ends in some kind of paralysis lol. I have a pull to adult paint by numbers (I haven't bought any yet), crocheting another doily, cross stitch, Arthur and Linus as always, Animal Crossing because I want to finish my damn islands so I can start new ones, the research paper I'm working on for a class that I want to eventually actually do and get published... yeah. I think that's the main ones. When I'm in paralysis I usually find something easy and brainless to do and right now it's playing online doll sites (currently veggie studio), just systematically going through all of the hair/clothing/color options in a loop over and over 😅😅 colors prettyyy 🤩

Last Book I Read: The Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureishi. I know of it because of David Bowie's album by the same name. It's from 1993 and I found out years later that it was actually a soundtrack. For years I tried to rent the movie but it was British and I couldn't find it. More recently I learned it was actually a British miniseries, so I bought the dvds online and watched the first episode. It was really weird (I mean tv is hard for me on a good day) so I didn't watch any more. But from that I learned it was based on a book, which I finally bought recently, and then finally, finally read. And now I would like to go back and try to watch the dvds again, now that i understand the tone of the book (which was really interesting and hilarious, but didn't really have much of an ending) but I don't have a dvd player lol

Looking Forward to: I get to meet TJ Klune on Tuesday 😱🎉🤩 I got all of my art printed off (god damn I should do that more often, it looks so pretty!) and plan to give them to him. Even the porn 🫣 Tagging anyone! I always like reading these.

6. If you could have one creature as a companion, what would it be?

Ohhhhh, this is so difficult 😩 the obvious answer is deathclaw, I think, and that would be a spectacular companion, don't get me wrong, but... I also really like the pseudo-dog types. I'd love to have a mutant hound, or in NV's case, a night stalker would be very cool... but also brahmin and bighorners would be interesting too 🤔 ahh, I'm too indecisive for this, they're all too good!

Really, they just need to expand to more than humanoids and Dogmeat/Rex... and robots... Ok, so they have a decent variety, but I want more aminals, dangit.

23. Which SPECIAL stat do you tend to make the highest?

It's generally either charisma (usually in FO4's case) or intelligence, but I'd like to do a lucky character sometime in the future, since that seems very fun to explore.

30. 3 things you’d like to see in the next fallout game?

This is a great question, and already partially answered above! But I'm gonna go over it again.

First, I'd like to see a bigger commitment to character development with the companions/npcs. As much as we all complain about the writing in FO4 (and for good reason), Bethany Esda really has shown growth in the way the companions have become more individualized characters with interesting backstories from FO3-FO4. But obviously there was still a lack of development and closure for a lot of these characters, a lot of tragic backstories they have in common *cough cough dead wife *cough and an overall lack of depth and care for the female characters (Clover, Cait, Curie, Cass, Cross why do all of their names start with C? and somewhat for Piper and Veronica as well.) And I do tend to play Fallout not for the combat/gameplay as much, but more for the story and character connections and the interesting environment; so I'd call for more companion quests and unique characters that really ground you in the world and help you to form emotional connections with them, and, in turn, become more invested in the game, story, and world as a whole.

Second, this is really just a critique for FO4, but please bring back the proper elements of roleplaying! Don't give our characters a whole ass backstory that's difficult to stray from or build off of if you want to stay true to cannon with your OCs. Also, for the love of god, bring back the dialogue options that aren't just one word gists of the whole actual line. I can't tell y'all the amount of times I went back in a save for saying something wrong 😩 Like.... I wanted to be sarcastic in a funny way, not be an asshole to Nick, geeze.

And last is that one I said earlier, where it'd be interesting to have different creature companions, but also, just more variety in general with the companions. Give us more female characters, more companions from different factions (Legion, Great Khans, Fiends, The Kings, Enclave, etc.), and more characters that are canonically trans, or have a specific sexuality/romantic preference instead of blanketing everyone as bi to be available to any kind of OC (which is awesome for some, but also, I'd like to see further commitment to diversity), which also means I'd like to see different races and ethnicities depicted as well.

ANYWAY, that was pretty long-winded, and just sort of word-vomited out, but hopefully it all makes sense.

There's definitely quite a few things I would want to see changed for future games, but also, I don't want to completely drag the ones I've played, since, clearly, they've had an enormous impact on my life. But I'm a true believer that most of us who enjoy these games, yet still want to see them change, want that because of how much we care about these games and we only want to see them improve more and more.

hey author! i just have a few simple lore questions to ask, i hope you don't mind.

does everyone in the leas universe have magical abilities? if so, it doesn't necessarily mean everyone uses magic? (for example, rin has magic but chooses not to use it, if i'm not mistaken)

are there kings and queens in this universe? even if they won't be real characters in the story, is there some sort of royalty in leas or any other city? i know we have nobles and lords, such as wren and virano, so far.

how do relationships with people from two different cities work, specifically between leas and delusin? i'm sure it's not a big deal but it was mentioned that a treaty between the two cities were made so is it difficult to get settled in that sense? is it looked down upon? etc.

this isn't a lore question but what inspired you to make this game? it's so creative and interesting and even the names of things and the way you describe them is out of this world, i wanted to know where you got these ideas from?

I'm more than happy to answer, and thank you for asking such fun questions! I hope you won't mind how long my answers are❣️ And I hope you have a great day/night as well!

Everyone in the universe has the ability to do magic, yes! Which mostly stems from me reading books as a kid where only special people had magic and thinking 'that's so unfair!' 😂 How good someone's magic is is a lot like how good someone's ability to learn a new language is in our world - there's natural talent, but it also matters how much you practice/study.

There are no kings/queens! Each city's a little different but the basic structure is that a group of people form a city's Council, and they're the ones "in charge." The Council is a mix of the leaders of the city's various communities, which lends itself to a mix of both nobles and non-nobles. I'm hoping to put more about this into the game itself, later on.

It's a little difficult to have a relationship with someone from another city mainly because travel between cities is so dangerous most people never do it 😅 The exceptions to this are diplomats, nobles, and some merchants. And Den agents, of course 😉 Marriage is one of the few ways a regular person could wind up in another city. Someone meets a visiting merchant, say, and falls in love with them and the couple picks a city to settle down in. It's also much easier to get travel papers to return to a city you were born in, if for whatever reason you managed to leave it and want to go back. Inter-city marriages aren't looked down on, but people do recognize those relationships are challenging. Leas has a very communal culture, so someone moving from another city could expect a lot of support from their neighbors upon arriving, in most cases. As far as Leas-Dalusin relationships, take everything above and make it a little easier, lol. There are more regular trade caravans and slightly safer routes between the cities.

As for the final question, first of all thank you, that's so kind of you to say! My initial reaction to this was "idk I just daydream it up and if I hit a plot hole I bang my head against it until I figure it out?" 😂 (That one option in ch 7 of "no I can just think harder! My brain is a hammer and everything can be a nail 😃" is literally just a self-roast 🤣) But giving it more thought, I think it's just that I love things that are wild and weird and beautiful, so I wanted to write about the Fey. For naming things: I tend to favor the letters V, K, L and vowels for names in Leas. I throw in a lot of A's in Fey language and try to let the sounds feel rhythmic/musical (at least by my perception). I deviate from those general rules constantly because there are only so many letters/syllables in English and eventually you realize "I've spent 3 hours trying to name this character I need to get back to actually writing." 🤣 But I try to roughly stick to those rules.

We did it!!! Xillia 1 is complete and I think we had a lot of fun along the way 😊 here's the recap, as usual:

We did have to finish up some sidequesting first, like talking about Leia's dad's cooking which was very cute. Apparently Jude has been living in Fennmont for a while because he said he celebrated his most recent birthdays there. So he basically left to pursue medicine when he was like 12????

Also I forgot to mention this last time but Princess Carrie's husband is named Julius, which seemed like a weird coincidence given the sequel, but they're obviously not the same person because you meet this Julius and he's an old man. Still, could they be related? He IS an Elympion from Trigleph 🤔

We also tried the colosseum group battles and cleared the beginner level no problem. My sister liked unlocking the top hats and had everyone wear them the final battle.

Unfortunately, the second level of the colosseum with all four Chimeriad (3 of whom were supposed to be dead?) was too much for us. Together they are genuinely harder than the final boss.

We were about 30 black feathers short of completing that sidequest 😫 I was hoping we might find some more in the final dungeon but nope.

Compared to fighting the four of them, Wingull alone was too easy and we both kinda laughed at that. Sis: "We're mocking AND killing him. Aren't we supposed to be the good guys." Me: "THEY [the party] are. WE [the players] aren't."

After defeating Wingull, he drew his sword. Sis: "Is he going to kill himself or attack again?" Wingull: *does both* Sis: "I guess I was right"

She kept worrying she did something wrong when we seemingly had to fight Gaius and Muzet alone. "Was I supposed to look around more??"

Tbf we DID have a glitch after beating Wingull. For some reason Jude was floating way above the map but when we moved we were back on the ground where we were supposed to be. No idea how that happened.

Also my sister did very well at the solo fights! Her combos were effective, but also spamming Swallow Dance just like I did 😅

I forgot that each party member shows up one at a time and uses their mystic arte. It was nice too because we hadn't even seen Leia or Elize's, we never played as them though they were in the party.

When Alvin shows up to fight he says that he finally found where he belongs 😭 we are so proud of his character growth

After finally beating them, my sister was STILL hoping the party would kill Muzet. She could use some of Alvin's character growth 😅

Alvin was the most upset about Milla's plan to become Maxwell. Sis: "Does he have a thing for Milla? Or does he just have abandonment issues."

She thinks Jude should become a spirit too. Not sure how that would work but it would be a cute AU

Isla's husband ends up starting a company with Alvin. Sis: "It's because he's used to partnering with traitors."

Now Rowen is basically doing Wingull's job. Her: "So is he planning on killing Gaius too?"

Her most hated characters were Muzet and Agria (and Teepo, of course) and her favorite was Alvin, but she also liked Jude and Rowen and Elize. Leia was accepted eventually, Milla was ok too

Elize put Teepo away in a box. Me: "Look, it's your happy ending." Her: "I wish she had done that at the beginning! So does that mean Teepo won't be in the sequel?" Me: "No he is." Her: "WHAT?!"

Jude sends the messenger bird to Milla. Sis: "How is it going to get there? Is it a spirit bird?"

Milla swats at Jude's hand like a cat. Sis: "Aw, she left him sparkles."

The sky is still clime green. A great pun to end on.

And with that, we're finished! So what next? Xillia 2 is definitely an option, though I'm a little unsure how much she'll like it given her stance on whiny characters (and Elle is... Elle.) I still want to try Berseria, I think she'd enjoy that story a lot. But ultimately it just depends on her schedule. We likely won't play another Tales game for a while, but I'm hoping we will again someday. Thanks to everyone who read these little updates of my sister's and my adventures!! :)

You definitely know how to leave a reader thirsty for more lol I have some questions about The Sea, the seas, the open sea if you don’t mind? Also! Also! The covers for that story are absolutely fantastic! I had a hard time choosing which was my favorite. Both covers (if one were to read the synopsis) give a hint of what the device does to the two remaining crew members but the cover that says “the connection was unearthly.”…ominous, if I do say so myself and especially great foreshadowing that the characters seem to not make it on the other side as they once were. But I’m getting ahead of myself 😅😅😅 I’m acting like you’ve written and published your story already and I have read it in its entirety (not just the two snippets). The gethsemane covers are beautiful too and I wouldn’t be able to pick from those options either lol Anyway! Do you have face claims for Alishba and Luevenia? Also, they are both beautiful names 😊 Do they mean anything and what made you pick those names out? When your reader gets to the end of your story what do you hope you’ve made them feel? Or a point you where able to get across? Lastly, I saw that isolation is a theme so I curious if it’s an entity in this story or a very tangible feeling? Ofc, noooo pressure to answer any of these if that’ll spoil your story 😁 thank you for sharing your stories, however small and brief, with not only me but the world! - 🌊 anon

gotta break this up into chunks hehehe

1. its okay sometimes i talk about my work like ive finished it too qdgebendnd. the binary code cover originally looked like this:

and if the binary code converter i used is accurate (no guarantees) it should say "i love you i hate you i am you" over and over. and heh...the connection is unearthly and it is as beautiful as it is. kinda gross!

2. i generally dont have faceclaims anymore! idk what shifted but as i got more into writing the less hm...clear? the faces of my characters became? like i have vague ideas and i know what they Dont look like, but no concrete visual references. as for their names, they are very pretty hehe but i didnt choose them for any symbolic meaning, the names just suited the characters!

3. what do i want my reader to feel? hm. well for context this story was inspired a large part by this astronaut comic (tws for gore and body horror </3) and its not really the same, its not like their bodies are broken down or used for parts, stuff like that. but i want to leave people with a similar feeling when you read the last line of that comic. a strange pitiful longing with an undercurrent of unease (or even disgust?). if i say what i hoped readers took away from the story though id be spoiling it a teensy bit...but i ill just say sometimes you only realize your place in the world and with others after youve destroyed everything else.

4. isolation in this context is kind of like a character? perhaps? ive been treating the story as one with 4 protagonists: alishba and luevenia, obviously, but also the love-in-winter and "the space left behind" by their crewmates (aka isolation and loneliness). i suppose in a sense you could go so far as to say that isolation is the antagonist of the story, pushing them to desperation.

Omg i had no idea you wrote for that fire emblem heroes supports blog! That was my fave blog back then LOL. A question for your blog though: how did you get the courage to start this account? I am also very shy on the internet and feel cautious about putting myself or my art online 😅

It was my favorite blog too! In fact, the reason I made a Tumblr account to begin with was to interact with and eventually submit supports to it😂 Shame no one uploads supports to it anymore, although I suppose I am part of the problem...

Anyway! Regarding your question, it was weirdly enough a mix of slowly preparing for it (there was a time where I made the blog but still was too scared to post anything) and getting on with it faster than my brain could freak out and make me back off. It's a weird game of push and pull and it's very frustrating.

But if you want some personal advice, I'd say wing it and post something, anything before you can think about it. Make a Tumblr account if you don't have it already, take full advantage of the fact it gives you full anonimity by not tying anything of your personal life to it (or rather, only the things you feel confident in letting anyone know, but if you're a minor do yourself a favor and don't put any personal information, not even your name and age) and if too much interaction freaks you out, you can disable anything you don't feel confident engaging with, from asks to replies to reblogs. Anonimity is great, it means you can put yourself out there without, well, actually exposing yourself more than you want. Same goes for filtering content you see, take some time to mess around with the settings and it will definitely pay off!

Also- I'm not speaking from personal experience here since everyone I've dealt with has been sweet, but remember the block button is always an option and you should use it whenever you don't want someone to interact with. It's there for that very reason after all!

And lastly, posting art or whatever else you want to post, I'd say just mess around and stick to whatever it feels most comfortable to you! You just want to post your finished art? Do that! You want to add WiPs and shitposts? Cool! 99% of your posts are barely tagged reblogs? You do you! Everyone uses their own blog differently, so take your time to experiment with what you want yours to be, and remember you can always change it later. As I mentioned earlier, this very blog was supposed to just be detailed posts about FE meta after all, and look where we are now😂

Life Lately

1/29/2023

✨ life has been very up and down lately. Long story short, my current therapist who I love so much, said her supervisor will only allow her to continue working with me if I get higher care help with food stuff. So I did and have a dietician and an Ed therapist which I’ve been doing for a month now, but I literally can not afford it. I’m spending almost $600 a week (and making $800 a week) and so I can’t save any money, can’t pay off my credit card, can’t buy groceries consistently… it’s just added more stress not really resolved anything. Plus the two new therapist I am seeing I don’t really like very much, they’re not telling me ANYTHING I don’t already know… it’s that I’m not ready to fully recover. And I hate that if I’m not, the way the system is set up is to have the therapists you do have have to stop working with you to encourage “higher care” but if I can’t afford basic specialized care… how tf is higher care an option??! Ugh. It’s a mess.

I have my therapy with my long term therapist I love on Tuesday, and I’m going to talk to her about it all. I’m really REALLY hoping we can find a way for me to do my best alone and then still work together (she’s not licensed yet, she’s an associate hence having to follow her supervisors authority to a T). But I will be crushed if I can’t see her, but I genuinely can’t afford more than 1 therapist a week and i don’t want to see either other therapist over her.

✨ anyway, that’s the shitty stuff. But other things in life are pretty positive atm! Work is going well, and I am liking it as much as one can like a level entry, out of college in a field they don’t particularly want to be in, as much as could be expected lmao

But I did speak to my manager and put in some boundaries with my available work hours (I was pulling 10-12 hour days bc of my commute) and so I now leave the office at 4 instead of 5:30 three days a week cutting almost 3 hours off my work day on M, W, and F’s which has been SO needed!! Proud of myself for asserting those boundaries tbh!

✨ I went running last weekend for the first time in almost 3 months, and it actually went great! Definitely slower and that is hard to come to terms with, but I went out again this morning for another 30 minute run and I am trying to just remain grateful running is back in my life!! And I am going to try running 3 days a week for 30 minute sessions for a few weeks to see how it goes, then increase it slowly if it goes smooth!! 🤞🤞

✨ some yummy foods lately I’m obsessed with; it looks gross but is SO tasty… mashed banana with maple syrup, pb, and cinnamon on top of freshly made bread!! And then I had steel cut oats for the first time yesterday and omg game changer!!!

✨ thea is her usual, perfect, adorable, derpy self (ignore my mass pile of stuffed animals)

✨ my brother is hopefully getting a job he’s been interviewing for for a month in the next week or so, and if he does we will be looking to move out in the next month or so!! (Hence needing to be able save money/have an income…) bc I need to not live at home anymore.

✨ speaking of saving though… I did have the plan to buy myself a ps5 when I officially landed my first big girl post college job, and they just got restocked so I bought one!!! So now I reallyyyy can’t afford therapy lmao 😅 I mean I can for $110 a week with my one therapist, not $600 a week for three lol

So that comes on Wednesday so next weekend I know what I’ll be doing all day Saturday and Sunday lmao

I bought the new ratchet and clank game and then also the last of us part 1 (the show is SO good!!) and I’m so excited!!

✨ I went to the humane society last weekend and then again this weekend and it feels SO good to be going back! I hadn’t gone since September of last year due to the new job and just the anxiety and sadness around some of the animals there for so long. But I loved getting to be back! I walked this 4 month old husky named Zeus, and then Oso I TLC’d and did some mental stimulation games and he’s such a sweetie pie ugh I love them all!!!

✨ today has been a nice, somewhat lazy day! Slept in until 8am and then went on a 30 minute run, then stopped at the farmers market for a few things, came home and did a 30 minute intervals and arms peloton class with Robin Arzon :) Then I watched M3gan (lol wild!), and now I’m watching Get Out while drawing in bed with a few candles lit!

✨ not thrilled about the work week ahead, I appreciate having a job a lot but I am definitely only planning on staying at this place for a year or 2 max and then I want to segue back to social sciences bc tech is not for me long term!

✨ I want to watch one more “scary” movie (or like thriller type movie like M3gan or Get Out) tonight so any suggestions I would love! :)

Simon is at the party. He is drinking his water because there are no non-alcoholic options for him, they are too cool for Coca-Cola probably. He is hiding in the corner, away from people's eyes. He really didn't want to come but Sara dragged him here. She wore a nice dress and put on make-up. She was so excited. She made him make an effort, too because "You can't be seen with me looking like that."

His phone pings repeatedly. He hopes it's Sara saying they can leave now. It is not Sara. The last person he expects sent him a couple of texts. He is not happy.

Wille:

don't let me even start with those rings and earrings.

i am too weak for this. help me.

Simon is jealous. They are not exactly friends, acquaintances at most because they are classmates. Wille doesn't talk to him too much. Simon finds excuses to have a conversation with him, about homework, rowing, reading sheet music but Wille always brushes him off and runs away. His crush can't stand him. Isn't that fucking great?

Maybe he can see him more frequently if they were friends. Simon wants to be more than that, though. He doesn't have the guts to do something about it. He doesn't even know if Wille likes guys. Who is this person Wille is weak for? He doesn't want to hear anything. He needs to text him back asap. It is already more than he can bear. Is it Felice? They seem to get along and they are always together. She is wearing eyeliner, rings and earrings. That checks out. They are childhood friends. They will get together and they will have a great love story. Simon will watch them from afar. They will get married and have half a dozen beautiful, insanely tall children. Simon realizes he is exaggerating. They will probably have two children. Who would want to deal with so many troublemakers anyway?

He doesn't want any further details about Wille's crush who makes him weak. He tries to play it cool and contemplates a text before Wille reveals something that will haunt him in his nightmares. How is he going to get over him?

"What the fuck Wille? 😅

I think you didn't mean to send this to me.

I would be so embarrassed if I were you." he types. Just before he presses send, new messages appear on the screen. He is too stunned.

Wille:

felice where are you? you need to stop me.

i am about to do something really stupid. I can't take this anymore.

Simon is surprised and that's an understatement. It is not about Felice then. Wille was talking about someone else but who? Could it be him? No, this is not one of his dreams. What if it's him, though and he misses his chance. He needs to know. He adds something else and sends it.

Simon:

What the fuck Wille? 😅

I think you didn't mean to send this to me.

I would be so embarrassed if I were you.

Also, who is wearing eyeliner? If it has that effect on people, maybe send me the brand name sometime. 😏

He watches Wille from his corner as he gets the messages. Wille can't see him from where he stands, that's good. Seeing his reaction would help Simon find out if he has a chance after all. He hopes it wasn't wishful thinking and he wasn't being so delusional. He sees Wille looking at his screen and his eyes probably going wide if his panicked expression is a giveaway. Felice appears next to Wille right on cue. When she takes notice of Wille's shocked expression, she looks over his texts and starts laughing like it is the funniest joke ever. Wille looks like he is about to cry. He starts to look around as if he is trying to find someone. Simon sends him another text.

Simon:

I think you should do the stupid thing.

Wille's expression changes suddenly. Wille's eyes find him then. Simon was already looking at him. He is always looking at him. Wille looks shy but also determined like he has made a decision. He strides over to him in a quick motion.

"Hey." Wille says.

"Hey." Simon smiles.

"Sooo, what brand of eyeliner do you use?" Wille says, his voice playful.

"You are so stupid." Simon says and leans in to kiss him. Wille immediately kisses him back. It's soft and tender. Their eyes are still closed, they are breathing each other in. Simon breaks the kiss and looks at him with a smile, Wille's face mirroring him.

"I wanted to do that for a really long time."

"Me too."

Who speaks first, we don't know. It could be either of them. They just stay there for a second and Wille puts his hands on Simon's face and dives into another kiss. Simon wraps his arms around Wille's neck. It is different this time. Longer, hungrier, and more passionate. Simon decides to write a really good review on the product website.

SimmeE: I really loved this eyeliner. It lasts longer than the ones I have used before. It doesn't smudge or smear. It has a nice tip, it is so easy to apply. It is not waterproof but maybe wear it for someone who wouldn't make you cry. It also can give you the best kiss you have ever experienced and get you a boyfriend. Would definitely recommend. ;)
