A non-exhaustive list of dead people I have beef with in no particular order and for no particular reason
Alexander the Great. Great general, not nearly enough of an attention span for maintaining his empire
The Victorians. For making it weird. It being everything they ever wrote about. Except for flower language. That's cool.
Saint Paul. For having far too much of the New Testament ascribed to him and making my religion classes harder than they had to be.
Ea Nassir. He knows what he did.
Everyone involved in the burning of the Library of Alexandria.
Olaf Tryggvason. For his approach towards Christianising his sovereign (and not so sovereign) lands.
Whoever Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre is based on.
Christopher Colombus.
The idiot that started the El Dorado legend. And all the idiots that believed him.
Lord Elgin. Fuck him and everyone like him.
Whoever thought it a good idea to steal one of the Easter Island sculptures
The person responsible for the Hermes scandal of 415 BCE.
Ioannis Kolettis and Alexandros Mavrokordatos. For having names that are very difficult to spell when you are ten and looking entirely too unlikeable in the illustrations of my history book.
Whoever decided "καταπλεω" (katapleo) should no longer have it's original meaning. We had a verd specifically for the act of sailing off to fuck shit up!
On a similar vein, whoever lost the recipe to the composition of Greek fire.
The academic that unironically called Sapfo straight
The person responsibilities for destroying part of the Homeric Hymn to Demeter. I have Questions.
The person who decided "Wednesday" should be spelled thusly
Everyone involved in the formation of modern German grammar and syntax.
The utter psychopath who made a show of publicly unwrapping mummies in front of an audience.

Damian has definitely stolen aspects of his personality or interests from his older siblings, Bruce, and Alfred (I'm saying this as a youngest sibling)
Like. I dunno I just feel like he's picked up things like
He makes certain teas certain ways because of Alfred
He has shelves of books he's read because of Jason
He got into some collectible card games because of Duke
He has a folder of saved memes/reaction images on his phone because of Stephanie

Honestly I’m choosing to be an optimist and believe that Elden Henson at the least could still be in DD Born Again (haven’t heard anything about Deb so not sure there). As best I can tell, all the current rumors that he and Deb aren’t there trace back to a single article stating Elden and Deborah aren’t on the current call sheet. And having known folks who worked in TV, this doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t on the cast list. It just means that what DD is filming right now doesn’t require them - think action scenes, solo scenes. It could mean that, say, Jon’s on a time crunch and so they’re just going to shoot everything with him and Charlie first so he can leave and then they’ll hit everything else. It could mean, ‘yeah ok we buffed all our dudes up so we’re just gonna get the hardcore fights and the shirtless scenes done ASAP’. Kevin has been open about how much he loved Netflix DD, and the fact that he’s already pulled in Charlie, Vincent, and Jon, along with - seemingly - Krysten if the hints on twitter are right, makes me hopeful that this is just a, ‘They’re being secretive and are filming things in a certain order’.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed, anyway.

A) Speedsters can possess the bodies of other speedsters by phasing into the host speedster's body and/or turning into pure energy and merging with the host body via the host's speedforce connection.
B) Speedsters can fuse with other speedsters. During this fusion they 'share' a brain and thought processes.
C) Fusion differs from possession in that fusion relies on both parties sharing control. Possession is easier as only one speedster is in control and it sidesteps the risk of a fusion falling apart due to differing mental states/thoughts. Fusion requires a deep connection and a strong bond to work.
D) Wally and Bart have such a strong bond that they can speak to each other through the speedforce and sense each other's emotions from anywhere in the world.
Conclusion:
DC has the ability to unleash a fusion of Bart and Wally upon the world and they have not yet done so. This is criminal. Imagine the shenanigans. The confusion. The hilarity. Especially if they accidentally do it. DC don't be a coward.

it's always funny when in fanfics people are like "c!Dream hurt so many people, most of the server was affected by his actions" when in reality it was mostly like. a select group he had a beef with. and that somehow turned into "everyone". i don't think he has even properly interacted with all of them

A Marauders Band Au intro/summary? for a fic that I most likely will never actually write but I felt like writing this anyway and I don't hate it as much as I thought I would so here you go.
—-
Regulus’ whole body was shaking, though he was trying not to let it show. He stood there on the stage, the crowd screaming and cheering all around him as he tried to gather his wits and slow his hard breathing. “Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit what did I just do.”
---------
Regulus was 13 years old when his older brother Sirius ran away to pursue a musical dream with his best friends, leaving Regulus alone and broken in the process. The same year, only a few months later, was the first time Regulus got up in front of a crowd to perform his first violin solo. Now, at 18, he’s tired. Tired of the soft classical music that he used to love but has grown to hate, being forced to perform day after day. Tired of his mother whose cold gaze forces him to put on an act everyday as if he's an actor and not a musician. Regulus is tired and he refuses to live like this anymore. Except he’s stuck. His mothers grip on him is stronger than he’d like to admit and he doesn’t know if he can get out of it all on his own. His only choice? Set aside his pride and find his new rising star of a brother to see if there’s still a chance to rekindle their relationship so they can finally put the past where it belongs, allowing Regulus to break free.

I have a vague memory of Irey being able to do absolutely terrifying things with the speedforce too? She could make her Impulse costume out of energy like Wally could but couldn't she also like. Wrap people in pure speedforce cocoons and control their lifespans
... no...?
I mean. This is actually super weird for me because my personal headcanon is that she'll grow up to do those things but... uh.. no, she's never done that in canon
The suit thing, yeah. Most speedsters can do the suit thing.
Wally has made lil tiny baby speedforce cocoons to hold arsenic bombs and stuff. But, as far as I'm aware, there haven't been any people sized speedforce cocoons.
It seems doable but it also doesn't seem doable. Idk. Speedsters usually have to be super close to their constructs (like, touching them) for them to exist because (although they don't like to admit it) the constructs are usually more 'extensions of their own body that are too inhumane for them to mentally classify as part of their body without having a mental breakdown' and less 'actual stand alone constructs'. For example, Wally's 'cocoons' were attached to his hands.
Of course that being said, Scouts are speedforce constructs that can exist without touching their speedforce source/creator. But Bart is also on some next level shit with that power. That's not a typical speedster ability. Godspeed made a single Scout for less than a minute and he almost died. Rip to Godspeed but Bart is built different.
So ... Idk. It's a possibility for sure.
Now the aging thing is, again, just a general speedster power. Most speedsters can do this, they just don't know they can do it. Pretty much every speedster controls their own aging and slows down their loved ones aging.
Making someone age super fast or deage is a speedster power as well. It just takes a lot more skill and practice. Not every speedster can do it and, honestly, most haven't tried. I love em but they aren't the most creative bunch. Anyway, it's a power that has been shown before and it's 100% doable. I could totally see Irey being able to do it.
