inspired by the interview he just did for spittin chiclets where he talks about how he usually wont fall asleep until 3am (and the title is from one of my favorite phoebe bridgers songs, halloween)

the clock on the bedside table blinks “1:00” as you slowly open your eyes. the only light in the room is coming from the moon shining between the blinds, casting a cool glow on the noticeably empty bed next to where you were lying.

seth wasnt in bed; same as last night, and almost every night before. 

you can hear the faint sounds of a seinfeld episode coming from the living room, letting you know immediately where your boyfriend was. sitting on the couch in front of the tv instead of in bed next to you. so you begrudgingly pulled on the first sweatshirt you could find, trying to beat the cold winter chill that had invaded the apartment, and tiptoed out of your bedroom.

“seth” you grumbled. “its one in the morning”

“i know, i just” he replied, pressing pause on the tv and turning to face you. “i couldnt sleep and i didnt want to bother you.”

“you should also know that if you cant fall asleep i want to help. you arent being a bother, im your girlfriend. this is the shit im supposed to be able to help you with” you said as you sat down at the far end of the couch. pulling one of the spare blankets you had all over the apartment over your lap.

“im sorry” seth returned, scooting closer to you and interlacing your hands with his. “can i get a do-over?”

“i guess” you giggled, amused by the sight of seth doing his sad puppy eyes in front of you.

“i cant sleep, can you help me?”

“of course i can, give me five minutes.” you said as you rose from the couch, gliding over to the kitchen and pulling out two coffee mugs. running your fingers over the design adorning the box holding the tea bags, you turned your attention back towards seth. “the sleepytime bear reminds me of petya.”

“the what?”

“you know, the bear on the boxes for all those non-caffinated teas. with the red hat and the nightgown.”

seth slipped into the kitchen behind you, pulling out his phone and snapping a quick picture of the bear before sending it off to the group chat and spinning you around so your back was pushing against the counter.

“thank you” he said before pressing a long kiss to the top of your head.

“you dont need to thank me.” you replied, snaking your hands under his shirt and hugging his waist.

“i know, i just wanted too.”

“youre so sappy.” you mumbled into his shirt, letting the sweet, woody, smell engulf you.

“yeah but you love it.” he mumbled back before pulling the kettle off the stove and pouring its contents into the mugs you set out. 

you released each other from the hug and grabbed your respective mugs before hobbling back into your bedroom. you pulled up the episode of seinfeld seth had paused before sliding in bed. 

making tea might have been a waste of time, seeing as seth was more interested in holding you than holding the mug. as soon as you got under the covers he’d wrapped his arms around you.

“youre wearing my hoodie.” he whispered as he traced circles along your thighs, letting the callouses on his palms graze the goosebumps on your skin.

“am i?” you murmured. “i just picked it up off the floor, it was the first one i found”

“my old blue bombers one.” he replied. “it looks good on you”

“you say that about everything i wear.”

“i wouldnt say it if it wasnt true.” he says before turning your chin towards him and pulling you into a kiss. 

the stubble growing in as a result of his budding playoff beard scratched at your face as you pulled him in deeper, and as you turned your attention back towards the sitcom on the tv you felt your eyes grow heavier. 

you fell asleep with the moonlight glazing over you and seth, and seinfeld playing on the tv. on a cool carolina night, with no care in the world. 

seth wasn’t far behind, wrapping his body around you before finally succumbing to his fatigue.

maybe it was having his girlfriend care for him that slowed his brain down enough to let him finally catch a semi-decent night of rest, maybe it was the reminder of unconditional love that put him at ease. regardless of the cause, you woke up to sunlight streaming through the windows, and a clingy, but well rested, boyfriend attached to your hip.

You try to take some steps back but your back hits the pillar that is right in your living room.

She has you exactly where she wants you to be.

"Come on. You know how badly you want this to happen, since months." she emphasizes the "months" which makes you even more mad.

Its true, of course it is. But why is she acting like its so fucking obvious??

"Fuck off Sana" you curse, walking past her.

If she wont leave your apartment, you will.

You take your jacket, you take the door knob in your hand, ready to turn it.

But you don't.

Sana stands just right behind you, her hot breath hitting your neck,it makes you so fucking crazy. Her hand holding yours, stopping you from leaving.

The rain stopped, the only sound is the breathing.

You turn around, looking at Sana.

The kiss gets sloppier and sloppier, Sana biting on your bottom lip which makes you let out a whimper as she shoves her tongue into your mouth.

Your hands roam on her body as she pulls you to your bedroom, which she knows too well, trying not to trip because you guys are pulling eachother back and forth like fighting kids.

You throw her onto the mattress, sitting down on top of her lap. Sana takes your shirt and bra off with ease. You're so eager, you rip off Sana's shirt.

Which turns her on even more.

Your lips land on her neck, kissing - sucking - biting, so roughly she even starts to bleed a little.

But oh god, its like you're crazy vampires.

Diluc

After a long day Diluc was more than happy to be home, to be with you. Midnights were mostly the only time he didnt have to worry about anything, thats why you felt uneasy waking him for your own selfishness.

Surprise surprise, it only took a few kisses and cuddles to make you fall in deep slumber.

"Darling, I... I cant fall asleep." Though you only whispered, your voice still rung like a loud bell in the middle of the night when its dead silent.

With you slightly pressed againts his chest, and him in deep sleep, you werent quite sure if he had heard you.

On most nights, Diluc was a fairly light sleeper. Even the low tunes of night birds can wake him but tonight, he had quite the busy day and was exhausted.

You contemplated if you were actually going to wake him. You felt guilty for being so greedy and taking his only hours for rest.

"Hmm-" he grumbles slightly "Whats the matter my love?"

"Im sorry for waking you" you reply

"Its alright, is there something bothering you? Perhaps a nightmare?"

"No, actually i havent been able to sleep at all"

"Ah, I see. Do you wanna talk?" He said.

Diluc placed his hand on your waist and pulled you closer to him, he burrowed his face into your neck and planted kisses along your collarbones.

"No, I think cuddles will do" you whisper into his ear

Neither of you had to speak further. He already knew what he had to do, smother you with hugs and kisses and reassuring mumbles.

Numerous nights of him humming you to sleep, countless times he sung songs of praises for you.

Guess it was hard to fall asleep without his angelic voice guiding you

It was the dead of night, yet Venti was nowhere to be found. There was no way he was coming back before the sun rises. You would know, since that's how it's always been when he comes home drunk.

You only hope he wont go back so late this evening, you couldnt bear another hour of sleeplessness.

Every second of every minute, the clock felt like it was going slower and slower.

You didnt know it could be this tiring waiting for someone. Maybe it's time to stop.

You put down the book you've been reading for the past hour. You've read the same chapter over and over again yet nothing went inside your mind. Not a single word was remembered by you. [Me when reviewing for a test]

You were about to head to your shared bedroom when the front door's handle shuffled.

Judging by the messy footsteps, it was most definitely Venti.

"Ah my flower! I'm homeee~" he announced.

"Why're still awake? Hehe, were you waiting for me?" He added while hugging you closely, his arm wrapped around your neck and his entire body leaning onto you.

"Venti, you smell like alcohol. Either take a bath or get off!" You said, attempting to push him off of you.

"Windblume, would you let me just this once hm? Come on I havent had alcohol in so long" he whined

"Do what you want I'm going to bed" you sighed

Once you finally managed to get him off you, you turn away from him and start heading towards the bedroom door when a pair of arms managed to sneak into way around your waist, soon he started kissing your shoulders.

"Venti, stop it"

"I'm not Venti" he grumbled

"Then whats your name?" You say in a sarcastic manner.

"I'm your dearest, your darling, love, babe, sunshine! So dont expect me to respond to Venti" he whines back.

You could only sigh in response. You finally turn around and yet even when you're facing him, he's still hugging you tightly.

"Lets go to sleep?" You ask

"Are you still mad at me?"

Their nickname is "homosexual" with a Binding of Isaac pfp. They proceeded to time me out and no one else for an argument involving me and 4 others. I was the only one timed out, it was not fair in the slightest. My rejoin involved me asking someone to spoiler Binding of Isaac (it is a very scary game for me) and i proceeded to get targetted for it. They also had screamed at someone and pinged someone who was very uncomfortable with pinging. The mod proceeded to scold them while the victim was asking them to stop very politely. How they were mod i have no fucking clue. Its honestly scummy how the admins do nothing either when deathzy says i "harassed them" (i dm'd them about bashing my post and the fact that i apologised for the nazi joke). They then proceeded to say they were "right" in the situation when getting Onion_rabbit involved by them faking harassment. Its scummy how both of them didnt get any reprimanding and i get a perma ban.

Honestly, if i dont get this post noticed, there are going to be much namedrops in the next post. In the Oka situation that got them banned, i do concede, the sex jokes and the f slur were kinda dodgy. Even if you can reclaim i dont think you should be saying a slur. But i think a week ban should have been more appropiate. And if we're banning for sex jokes, Deathzy should be banned aswell. Just look at their fucking posts. Conclusion, this Album is amazing, and i really hope Chappell receives the accolades that she rightfully deserves for this piece of pure pop perfection, it is amazing, and I know exactly why Dan Nigro started an entire imprint for Chappell, seriously, this is an amazing project, and it slots so nicely into Dan's catalogue of amazingly produced albums. I won't be able to make it to chappels naked in north america tour stops near me, so I am now waiting patiently to see if i get off the waitlist for guts tour tickets so I can see her open for Liv (I really hope her and Chappell sing lacy together for the dates where chappell is opening)
