So I had this idea of what if Dogday actually becomes Catnap's servant (based on "Take a Rest" by RecD), so I made a drawing of Dogday for this AU and a snap sketch.

I didn't know what what to make it, so Dreaming AU it is till I find something better.

FACTS!!!

Dogday listens to Catnap's every word.

Dogday will almost always be at Catnap's side, ready to orders.

Catnap is more of the leader in this AU than Dogday.

Catnap once found Dogday disobeying the rules he had put onto him, so thus he made him dream that everyone left him and that Catnap was the only one who didn't leave him. This dream did result in a breakdown from the dog, which Catnap happily comforted. Just to keep him from leaving...

Dogday cut a star into his arm to show his appreciation and loyalty to Catnap. Everytime it starts healing, he cuts it open again.

Dogday is very sleep deprived. For someone who's loyal to the sleeping cat, he never gets the chance to sleep himself. Catnap knows this, purposefully making sure he stays up.

The other Smiling Critters treat Catnap with the upmost respect, seeing him as a God amongst them that provides them with fantasies whenever they wish. This respect also goes to Dogday as well, since he's basically the assistant of Catnap.

Dogday will get pissed if anyone DARES to call out Catnap for being a horrible person. Or in his eyes, "try to ruin the good profile" of his lord. Sometimes, he gets physical too.

Catnap will often say things like "I could just leave you all alone" or "If you keep this attitude up, I will have to discard you..." to keep Dogday in line.

WIP of DogDay in my style/AU before doing CatNap’s for his headcanon post.

I am doing this mainly because I wanna practice drawing a Smiling Critter and their cartoony anatomy. I swear, y’all, they’re borderline rubberhose style the more I seek more references. I am also doing this as a way to practice drawing a young adult (20 year old) Smiling Critter and how they would look in my AU. So yeah, DogDay is an adult here.

Will I be proud of the result? Maybe. Hopefully I can also get a proper name for the AU I planned.
