I might write a jercy fic where basically Percy's mom doesn't know that Percy's a halfblood (it could be Jasons mom to but idk) so he lies saying that he spent his summer with his boyfriend (that he doesn't have) and than his mom invites him and his boyfriend over for Christmas and Percy is like "shittttt" and eventually convinces Jason to be his fake bf but they both have feelings for one another
would anyone read that?

I need fics where percy just goes off at poseidon. Not in a dark!percy way, but in an angsty teen with an absent father and severe daddy issues way.
@denimbeans on ao3 did this in their fic "The Prodigal Son" recently, and its made me hunger for more ever since I read it!

What myths, legends, romantic stories that end badly in the Greeks and Romans do you know?I was wandering on Tumblr and read a post, about the possible parallelism there may have been between Jason and Percy, (historically) with Mark Antony and Cleopatra, also a brief mention of Octavian.(I will try to find the publication, I don't know how I missed it).
The idea started to cook and I thought, I have to write this! But...Not long after this posting I found another equally Percy and Jason, but this time with the parallel of an Orpheus and Euredice myth.(I can't find the publication either, how the heck do I miss them all?).
I came to the conclusion that I need to see what other stories I could come up with to write on this topic, it would be writing fanfics of myths/historical events and I might not regret them.

Secret Wedding
Hello! This story was written for @ashilrak Percy Jackson Spring Midnight Musing exchange. If you’d like to read it on AO3 here is the link. This was once again such a fun exchange and I truly look forward to all others this wonderful person hosts. Enjoy!!
Also I’m sorry for posting this on here so long after AO3, I forgot to
Summary: Young Demigods never get much of a chance to have a happy life, especially when it comes to romance. So Percy and Jason take it into their own hands to be able to swear their love to each other. In the woods of Camp Half-Blood, the two wrapped in the early morning sun, Jason Grace and Percy Jackson swear to love each other, forever.
Word Count: 1998
The two had met early in the morning in the woods that day. A plan in their heart that was so secret that no one knew about it. Not their friends or family. Not even the gods. It had to be this way they told themselves. Sure their friends and families would be supportive but not the gods. One would think after forcing two people to give their whole life to them that they could be granted this one wish. But it never worked that way. And today would be a happy day. They swore not on the River Styx, but to each other that today would be one to remember.
And it was.
Being a demigod came with so many hardships but those hardships formed the strongest of bonds. And no bond was stronger than the one between Percy and Jason. They had been born to be enemies. One of the ocean, one of the sky. Their fathers both rivals on the best of days and complete enemies at worst. They even came from paths that should result in bloodshed. A Greek and Roman. Yet here they stood, Jason with his hands on Percy's waist as they gently swayed together in the early morning breeze.
The last day of summer. A day dreamed of by so many Greek demigods and now made even better. For today was the day that Percy would finally be allowed to marry Jason. The two had kept their secret for months. Sure they both knew people, and most likely the gods, knew they were together. But they didn’t need to know just how much. They didn’t need to know that six months ago, Jason had snuck into Percy's cabin late at night and proposed. They didn’t need to know that the ring that suddenly appeared on Percy's necklace wasn’t actually a college graduation present from his parents but instead a simple yet elegant engagement ring.
“I love you,” Jason whispered as he gently pressed his face against Percy's shoulder. It felt unreal that they were doing this. It went against everything Jason believed in. They were polar opposites in that way. Jason had grown up honoring the gods to the highest degree. If they demanded it, he followed blindly. He didn’t always like it, but he didn’t have much choice in the matter. Percy on the other hand openly went against the gods. Sure he never tried to rise up against them and had helped take down the uprising that led to this moment. But Percy didn’t respect the gods like Jason did. Percy held anger towards them and while he did what they asked, it wasn’t because the gods asked him, it was to keep his family safe.
“I love you too,” Percy whispered, gently kissing Jason’s temple as the two clung to each other. They were about to do what was probably the stupidest thing they could. Go against direct orders. Direct orders by Jason's stepmother. They could very well be killed for this but neither of them cared. Because at least they’d die together.
The two slowly pulled out of the hug, keeping their fingers intertwined as they began to walk deeper into the woods just as the God Apollo filled the gaps in the trees with golden light.
“You know, this is a terribly stupid plan,” Jason said. “Like, Leo-level stupid. Stupid enough that when we get back we’ll be lucky if everyone doesn’t start a game of capture the idiots.”
Ever the worrier. Percy simply laughed.
“At least we’ll be hunted together,” Percy joked. “Besides, the real person we should fear is my mom. She’ll actually kill us for not inviting her,” he teased, making Jason cringe at the thought.
Jason loved Percys' mom. Ever since he began to date Percy, Sally had done her best to make Jason feel welcomed and be the motherly figure the boy so desperately wanted without ever knowing. But he also knew what she was capable of. One didn’t manage to get the king of the ocean and raise his child without being stubborn.
“At least we’ll die happy,” Jason joked. “And we can spend forever in Elysium, being young and in love,” he teased, bringing Percys' hand up to his mouth and gently kissing it.
“That’s actually not a bad trade-off,” Percy said, pretending to actually consider the option, making Jason laugh. Gods that laugh would never grow old.
Finally, the two entered the small clearing in the woods. It was a beautiful area filled with wildflowers and a few strawberry bushes that lost their way from camp. It may not be the scene one would expect for two princes about to marry but it was perfect for them.
“Ready?” Jason asked, turning to face Percy as he now held both of Percy’s hands. Percy always seemed so cold compared to everyone else. He supposed being a child of the ocean created that.
“I believe you mean, do you take me to be your husband,” Percy teased, once again dragging a sweet and gentle chuckle from Jason's chest.
“Do you Perseus Jackson, take me, Jason Grace, to be your husband?” Jason asked, smiling as he looked at the man he swore to himself that he’d love forever.
“I do,” Percy said. “And do you, Jason Grace, take me, Perseus Jackson, to be your husband?” Percy asked, looking at the beautiful son of Jupiter.
“I do,” Jason said, his heart beginning to race as he did something completely unplanned and absolutely stupid. “I swear on The River Styx to love you forever. I will live for you and die for you. I will take care of you and protect you from all harm. I will be the absolute best husband in the world to you, Percy. I may not have much, but I will always give all my love to you,” He said, thunder tearing through the clearing and completely catching Percy off guard.
“Are you stupid?!” Percy asked, freaking out slightly. He was beyond honored that Jason loved him so much that he’d make an oath like that, but that oath could never be broken or else Percy would actually lose Jason.
“Stupid in love,” Jason said, a calming smile on his face. “I mean it, Percy. Not even death could make me stop loving you. And if I ever lost you, I want to die. I don’t want to live in a world without you,”
Percy didn’t know what to say. Of course, he was honored. Of course, he felt the exact same way. But that didn’t change how stupid such a promise like that was. Still, Percy wouldn’t let Jason be stupid alone.
“I, Percy Jackson, hereby swear on The River Styx, to be Jason's husband. I will love him forever and only allow myself to die peacefully when he does. I will take care of him and show him exactly what it means to have a loving family,” Percy said, smirking slightly at the thunder rumbling around them as Jason blushed.
“I love you, Percy Jackson,” Jason said, carefully dipping Percy and gently kissing his lips to seal their marriage.
“I love you too, Jason Jackson,” Percy said, a slight tease to his tone. The name sounded perfect to Jason. Jason had wanted so long to lose his past and to have no ties to it. Now he had officially tied himself to Percy. They didn’t need a big ceremony or a blessing from the gods. They just needed each other. They just needed love.
The two stood there for a moment, just staring at each other. They had done it. They had actually done it. They were married and would be perfectly happy together.
They soon made the walk back to camp where everyone was already getting ready for breakfast. They didn’t even think twice about their next move. They held each other's hand and both sat at the Poseidon table. Everyone else instantly took notice. Not because of the couple everyone had been gossiping about since last year. But because of what happened as soon as Jason sat at the Poseidon table.
A green trident floated over his head.
Jason and Percy both stared up at the symbol, eyes wide. Neither of them had planned this. As far as Percy had known, Poseidon was just as clueless as everyone else was supposed to be. Unfortunately for them, everyone else seemed to catch on to what happened.
“When the Hades did you two finally get married?!” Nico broke the silence as he stared daggers at the two as he sat at Apollo's table.
“Uh,” was all that could come from the two boys' mouths as they continued to stare at the disappearing symbol. This was definitely far from good but probably what the two boys had coming. Still, Percy planned to have a very serious talk with his father when whatever punishment the two were bound to get was over with.
“Well?” Nico asked, now standing as he stared at the two.
“Like, twenty minutes ago. If that,” Jason eventually answered. “It wasn’t a real marriage. Just us promising to love each other forever,”
“That is pretty much a real wedding,” Annabeth cut in, also glaring at them. “Why didn’t you tell anyone? How did you both hide it from me?!”
The two newlyweds were once again at a loss for words. Everyone seemed to be staring at the two with a mixture of confusion and anger. After all, how could they dare to hide such good news from them?
“We just didn’t want the gods to know. We were going to tell everyone,” Percy said. “We just wanted to enjoy today but we would’ve told everyone once we figured out how to not have to deal with Hera,”
“Okay fair, but still, very rude,” Nico said, summoning his sword from the shadows. “I’ll speak with you both after breakfast.”
Thus began the most intense breakfast ever. The children of the big three, all seemed to race each other to finish first. The second Nico had though, Percy and Jason didn’t try to finish, instead taking off to not be screamed at by their friend who would no doubt quickly learn of their oath.
“When we tell your mom, and like, actually get killed for this, promise to remember me like I was at our wedding,” Jason said, panting slightly as the two ran, trying their best to avoid shadows.
“Ditto,” Percy said. “At least with Nico he gets bored, my mom will especially kill us when she finds out we made oaths on the Styx,”
“You what?!” Nico yelled, closing in on the both of them.
“Well I suppose the end is coming far sooner than I had hoped,” Jason said, taking Percys' hand and pulling him toward the lake. “Let's see just how dead we are,” He said, dragging his husband into the cold water where Nico didn’t dare to go.
“What happened to you hating the water?” Percy teased.
“Can’t hate anything you belong to,” Jason said, pulling Percy into a sweet and gentle kiss that nearly took Percy's breath away.
“Gods I love you,” Percy whispered before dragging his boyfriend underwater.
And that was how the two spent the first day of their honeymoon. Hiding under the lake water at camp and simply enjoying each other. Jason could actually manage to breathe under the water, a fact that made Percy very happy since they really could just spend all day under it.
Unfortunately for them, they weren’t immune from the cold and both spent the rest of the week with terrible colds and the annoyance of all of camp, and the anger of Percy’s mom.
Still, it was a day they’d never forget and one they both cherished forever. Besides, at least being sick meant talking of the future and trying to outsmart the gods even more. It may not have gone exactly to plan, but no one could stop their love.

jercy microfic // 352 words //
Dead.
It was a word Perseus Jackson was all too familiar with.
The word described too many of his friends and too few of the people who wanted to kill him but there was one person who he couldn't stand the word describing.
Jason Grace.
The boy he had been in love with almost since he laid eyes on him. The boy he seemed to be attached at the hip with. The boy who made him realize that he was pansexual and not in love with Annabeth.
The boy who was now in fact, dead.
And that was why Percy was sitting on the floor of his cabin, sobbing his eyes out.
There was another thing about the word death.
Percy was all to used to it.
So he was rather confused why this was hitting him so hard.
Of course maybe it was because Jason was his bestfriend or maybe it was because he was in love with him.
But it had been over a month since Jason had died so why was Percy barely able to survive, barely eating, and crying most days and all nights.
Sure, these were all normal ways of grieving. But not for Percy Jackson.
He had so much going on that he pushed himself, skipping most of the stages of grief purely because he didn't have time for it. Of course he hated this but there was nothing he could do about it.
But with Jason it was different. He didn't have the time to grieve but he made it.
This was Jason Grace. The love of his life, even if it was one sided.
Percy would rather be Jason's best friend for years and not be his lover than to have Jason die.
Sadly, Percy didn't get to choose.
Or did he?
Percy knew there was no way to bring Jason back. Once someone dies, they stay dead. Not even Hades himself could change that.
But if Hell wouldn't give him what he wanted, he'd bring hell to Earth.
If he, Perseus Jackson was going to suffer, he'd bring the world down with him

A shameless self plug for the spooky season
Seen some others do it so figured I would too. I don’t have many but here’s all the vaguely Halloween related fics for PJO I have, in case anyone’s bored:
Couples Costume? I’m Hooked! (Pun Intended)
Percy and Jason fight over what couple's costume they'll wear and nobody else knows what they're going as until they see it.
Oh and the second chapter is pretty much all smut, but the first chapter was originally a one shot and should be safe if you're not about that other stuff.
Couples Costume? I Won’t Say I Love Them
Jason and Percy dress up for Halloween again and unsurprisingly it all devolves into smut.
You don't need to have read the first one to read this one, but you can if you want. Some things might make more sense.
He’s A Yellow-Belly, But He’s Cute
To cheer Nico up and get him into the Halloween spirit, Jason takes Nico to a haunted house.
The only problem is, Jason is absolutely terrified.

Percy: We're gonna need a human skull, but you can't ask why.
Jason: *nods*
Nico: Okay, only if you also don't ask why.
Nico: *pulls four pristine human skulls out of his bag*
Jason and Percy: ...
Percy, grabbing a skull: This one will do.

The snow's coming down, I'm watching it fall | Zimbits, G, 2k
Summary: It was because of this growing love for the holiday that Jack agreed to throw a Christmas party at his and Bitty’s place.  At first it was just inviting Coach and Suzanne for Christmas, so they could spend time up in Providence with Bits until New Year. Bob and Alicia always did the same. But then they started inviting old teammates, turning the family dinner into a full-on party. So many loved ones visiting them during one of Bitty’s most favourite times of the year, so of course Jack wanted to spend it with Bitty too. Read on Ao3
A/N: For the OMGSP Secret Santa Exchange. Takes place after Jack and Bitty are married. I hope you enjoy it, @peanutdoodler~!
Title from Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) originally by Darlene Love. Thank you to @atlasthemayor for the quick beta and sweet comments<3 Any other mistakes are mine.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—❄️—❄️—
i.
Bitty loved Christmas.
Jack loved Bitty.
So Jack liked Christmas now too.
When he was younger, he usually dreaded the season. It meant that both Papa and Maman would be even busier than usual with games and dinner parties and shmoozing with stuffy people Jack hated talking to.
He’d much rather stay at home, watch tape, and drink hot cocoa.
Bitty grew up a lot differently.
The holidays meant seeing family, baking even more somehow, genuine laughter and joy around the house. He loved the decorations, the music, the spirit.
When they finally got together, Bitty’s happiness was infectious.
And Jack grew to love Christmas.
It was because of this growing love for the holiday that he agreed to throw a Christmas party at his and Bitty’s place.
He thought about this as he packed up after his last game for the month, the irony of how ready he was to return home and help his husband out with a party.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
ii.
Bitty was in full swing setting things up for Christmas day.
Jack was out finishing the last leg of his roadie before coming home for the holidays, meaning Bitty had a lot to prep for.
The decorations had been set since Cyber Monday. The menu was decided two weeks ago so he had time to pick up groceries as the big day drew closer. Over the past week he started setting ingredients aside, pulling dishes and trays together to speed up his process so he didn’t have to go searching for them. Yesterday, he already began chopping up the vegetables he needed to prep for cooking all day on the 24th.
Bitty was in His Zone.
He checked his phone for a quick update, about to text Jack that he was going to be buried in their kitchen for the next few days and to let himself in, when he decided to call his husband instead.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
iii.
“Hi, sweetpea!”
“Hey, Bits.”
“How’s the roadie?”
“Good. You watched the game?”
“Of course! Nice hatty there, Mr. Zimmermann.”
“Hah. Thanks.”
“You’ll be here by the 23rd right?”
“Mhm. By the afternoon if weather allows it.”
“Hopefully a bit earlier! I want you to taste test a few things before I go wild and actually start cookin’ up for Christmas.”
“Haha, okay. Anything particular?”
“Testing a new pie recipe.”
“‘Swawesome. So I—huh? Marty? Oui. Mm. D’accord.”
“Gotta go?”
“Yeah. Marty says the bus is loaded up.”
“Okay, travel safe! Miss you, honey.”
“You too, Bits.”
“Talk soon?”
“Yeah.”
“Bye, I love you!”
“Love you too.”
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
iv.
[Approx. 24 hours later]
Bitty hung up the phone, finally letting out the slow sigh he’d been holding ever since Jack told him that he would be coming home later than they planned.
It truly was a series of unfortunate events: a popped bus tire, plane issues, new flight plans... Jack had sounded so defeated when he relayed the news to him. Bitty expressed that he was disappointed by the delay, but he knew that things happened, none of it Jack’s fault, and he didn’t want Jack worrying about him.
So he told Jack that he could manage with Shitty and Lardo to help him out for the Christmas party.
And they did. The two were as boisterous as ever, making an early drive to their condo to help. They bickered with Bitty all while they assisted him with the extravagant Christmas meal he had planned for.
Then Jack texted him that his connecting flight got delayed by weather. And then that his baggage got lost.
Bitty kept up his spirit for Shitty and Lardo with every update Jack gave, though he doubted he convinced them that he was just fine, y’all, now get! You two need rest before the realchaos starts tomorrow morning!
(Lardo had let out a low groan while Shitty barked out a laugh. Then they said their good nights and retreated to the spare room.)
He had wanted this Christmas to be extra special since it was the first big celebration he and Jack were hosting.
And he was determined to keep it just as special, even if Jack only made it for half the day.
Still, that didn’t mean he couldn’t wait up for his husband on the couch, passing the time by scrolling for miles on Twitter, instead of looking at the door and hoping that Jack finally walked through.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
v.
Jack was late.
He was so very late.
It started just after he got off the phone with Bits. The bus was loaded up and ready to go, just as Marty said, but less than a mile after they left their hotel, the bus popped a tire.
Which would’ve been fine, since the team usually flew on charter, but apparently their plane had a major mechanical issue, so they were told to either spend a day (maybe even two) to wait for it to get fixed, or to each catch a regular flight home.
After a quick discussion, everyone agreed to fly back individually, simply wanting to get back to their respective hometowns. The single guys were upset, but not as much as the guys with kids and partners they had to break the news to.
Bits was much more forgiving than Jack expected.
“I thought you said you wanted me to taste test things?” Jack had asked, unable to help his disappointed pouting.
“Oh, sweetie, don’t worry about that,” Bitty had reassured him. “I can call up Shitty and Lardo to make their way here a bit earlier. They can help out.”
He then sighed, swiping a hand through his hair. “I’m sorry, Bits.”
It didn’t help that he missed his single connecting flight because of a sudden snowstorm, and that his luggage got lost in transit because of the delay. Then when he finally landed in PVD, the taxi line was long as all hell because apparently everything happening in Jack’s life wanted to go wrong.
Which meant that instead of arriving home in the afternoon of the 23rd like he wanted, he actually got home past 11pm on the 24th, sneaking into his own condo quietly like a thief in the night. He unceremoniously dumped his bags by the door and kicked off his boots. Trudging over to the living room to take a seat on the couch, he decided to gather up a bit of energy before disturbing Bitty, who was probably asleep in their bedroom.
He was surprised to find himself proven incorrect. Instead of an empty living room, he found Bits lying on the couch, hand on his phone like he fell asleep while scrolling through it.
(Jack smiled, because he probably did.)
He tiptoed over to where his husband was sleeping soundly to kiss him on the forehead.
“Joyeux Noel, Bits,” he whispered.
At this, Bitty stirred awake, blinking up at him with a sleepy smile.
“Welcome home, sweatpea. Merry Christmas.”
The fatigue of the past 30 hours immediately melted away, and Jack figured Christmas could be a lot worse than coming home to the man he loved most, greeting him warmly with a soft kiss.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
vi.
Bitty vaguely recalled the night before—he knew that passed out on the couch after he sent Lardo and Shitty off to bed—but for some reason he didn’t wake up in the living room like he thought he was going to.
Instead, he woke up in bed, Jack snoring quietly next to him.
He suddenly remembered the door clicking open, the soft thump of bags hitting the floor, and being awoken by familiar lips pressing onto his forehead.
Jack was home.
Even though he’d coached his friends through his intricate meal plan yesterday, he had still been stressed and upset that Jack had missed out. But now, all the sadness he’d suppressed melted away, leaving only a deep warmth and satisfaction that Jack was finally here, with him, just in time for Christmas.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
vii.
Despite the delays he faced, Jack managed to spend Christmas at home. Lardo and Shitty greeted him with a big smile and a crushing hug respectively, and before long Bitty whipped everyone into a well-oiled machine to prep for the Christmas party ahead of them.
Yes, Jack included.
Bitty did give him the chance to bow out, considering his hectic travel, but the hours he spent with Bitty in bed (clothed, completely asleep) gave him enough energy to lend a hand.
He still wanted their first Christmas party in their home successful, after all.
And to spend it with his most favourite person in the world, along with some of his other favourite people?
There was nothing more Jack could really ask for.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
viii.
[Several hours of cooking later]
The party was in full swing, food and presents laid out just in time, friends and family mingling and laughing all around their home. Somehow, he and Bits managed to catch a moment together, Jack corralling them to stand by the entry to the hallway.
Then he grinned to himself.
“You know,” he said conspiratorially, “we’re under mistletoe right now.”
Bitty looked up at him with a smirk. “You planned this on purpose, didn’t you, Mr. Zimmermann?”
Jack could only smile even wider, pulling Bitty close by the waist, and kissed him.
“OOOOOH!” Shitty hollered from across the room, as he often did. “FOOOOOINE! That’s a big fine right there, Jack!”
The room erupted with laughter, half the crowd agreeing with Shitty, the other half wolf-whistling. Somewhere, Jack could hear Suzanne and Maman cooing at them.
Jack flipped everyone the bird, deepening the kiss against Bitty’s smiling lips.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—❄️—❄️—
[BONUS: The day after the party]
i.
Suzanne and Coach Bittle go out to explore Providence since it was their first time visiting the city in the winter, Maman and Papa going along with them, so he and Bitty decided to spend the day out together too.
Unsurprisingly, they made their way to a frozen pond, skates in hand. Bits said it was deemed safe a few days ago, and there were a few people already skating around by the time they arrived.
Since it was just the two of them, they couldn’t play shinny, but a quick skate date wasn’t out of the question.
They passed the hours in the freezing cold, filled with smiles and laughter as he and Bitty skated around the pond with their hands locked the entire time.
When they left, flurries began to float down from the clouds.
—❄️—❄️—❄️—
ii.
He and Jack headed back as fresh snow fell around them. After checking his phone, they found out that their parents were still out, so he and Jack grabbed a few supplies from home before going back outside to mess around with the newly fallen snow. They built two little snowmen, one a little taller than the other.
“That’s adorable!” a voice called out.
Bitty turned around to find a young boy looking down at their creation. He was bundled in a yellow jacket, wild curls tucked away from his face with earmuffs covered in sunflowers.
“Do you mind if I take a photo?” he asked, looking up to beam a gap-toothed grin at Bitty.
He snuck a glance at Jack, who nodded.
Bitty couldn’t help but smile back. “Sure, honey!”
The boy squealed out a Thanks! before snapping his photos and leaving. He and Jack then took their own selfies before heading back home once again.
Later, when their parents returned from their day trip and Bitty regaled what he and Jack had been up to, he considered it a wonderful day well spent.
