Glowy Atarauke

Finally finished her design!

She and her brother run a tavern called the Golden Dragon in one of the human cities of their setting. While Althani usually takes the orders and runs the place, she's the one who cooks and takes care of most of the background work necessary. While being self sufficient, Atarauke often appears to be with her mind somewhere else or even absent. Still, this doesn't keep her much from doing her work or collecting some of the stories of the adventures frequenting their tavern.

В такие моменты лучше отложить всё в сторону и пойти прогуляться или почитать, или просто переключить своё внимание на другие задачи. Идеи не приходят просто сидя за столом и глядя в белизну бумаги.

Doodled a Suns on the new tablet 👌 I am increasingly into this feather mane thing I've been trialling lately

#seven red suns #rain world #assembly #fluffy suns rights 🙏 #the feathers are attached to a sort of organic cloth thing that has touch receptors and muscles in it like real feathered skin #so they can give feather scritches and also puff up and move the feathers #but it is still technically sort of clothing #feather graft??? kinda? #prosthetic mane?? #they make the thing with lots of places in the side to attach jewellery #pretty chains and such #and the feathers are showy neck and crest feathers #they probs got a variety of different manes with different colours and shit #....late assembly anyway. currently in assembly they have none #but it's in their brain #on the fashion experiments list #my art #rough and sketchy #oh also there is a variant of this sketch in which peepaw sig is cuddling them #good shit #SRS outfits

Random WIP I may never finish - part of a larger thing.

Headcanon: Chay finds the pick he made Kim one day when searching for something else and, frustrated (and also touched) by Kim's sentimentality and desire to keep it undamaged, he turns it into a necklace so it can get some sort of use and not sit in a drawer. Kim loves it.

Glowy Althani

I've never given him or his sister a proper design, so I'm going to remedy that.

Anyway, let's share some lore about him and his species. Althani belongs to a race of "goat-people" called Cornu, who have separated into two fractions. He belongs to the main-land Cornu defined by their use of metal and gems in their the jewellery whereas the island Cornu just create jewellery with wood.

Over the centuries the Cornu from the island called Adcornu, have separated themselves from the other races of the setting and even look with disdain upon those Cornu originating from the mainland. While the Cornu from the mainland also keep the other races at a distance, they do trade and are much more open and welcoming. Still, they can be just as superstitious and distrustful as the Cornu from the island.

Althani and his sister Atarauke were born in a tribe deep within the forests of the mainland. Usually they wouldn't have left their tribe unless married into another but due to unlucky circumstances and an accident during which Atarauke had died but was revived. As the elders feared the involvement of a god they exiled her but since she had been just a child at that time Althani went with her to protect her. He was also fed up with the elders but that's longer story.
