Marilyn Monroe at attorney Johnny Hyde's home, where she was staying. Hyde had taken Marilyn as a client. As vice president of William Morris Agency, he assisted with early modeling and acting parts. Hyde used his influence to help Monroe land roles in The Asphalt Jungle as Angela and All About Eve as Miss Caswell. He also helped her get a seven year contract at 20th Century Fox. Just a few days after securing the contract, Hyde died of a heart attack aged 55.

Hyde had left his wife because he had fallen in love with Marilyn. Despite repeated proposals, Marilyn always turned him down. Unfortunately, Marilyn said she loved Hyde but was not actually in love with him.

I answered recently about Elia Kazan. Marilyn’s involvement with Johnny Hyde isn’t completely clear. They were very close and cared a lot for one another. We can’t say for certain if they had a sexual relationship although it is very possible.

Alright so since Mattel is set on either rebooting or creating an alternate adaptation of Monster High every few years HEAR ME OUT: Middle School aged Jackson & Holt.

Little Jackson skipping several grades due to high test scores, a newly formed Holt along for the ride

Frankie wrecking whichever bully decides to try something with the new kid and baby Jackson getting the BIGGEST crush on them

Heath turning Holt into his wingman because “chicks love kids!” If they can’t be cousins anymore atleast give me this-

Deuce catches Jackson watching casketball practice and finds out that J was the best player at his old school and is bummed he can’t play anymore because “you guys would cream me” so Deuce takes the kid under his wing as a sports mentee and OOPS you’re an honorary big brother now :)

So out of curiosity I went to the Monster High Wiki to find out how many dolls the Mansters have gotten.

Results are, interesting.

Deuce Gorgon : 6. You'd expect Cleo's boyfriend and the 6th person in the Theme song to have more.

Clawd Wolf : 6. Same as Deuce. But again, he's dating Draculaura and she has the most dolls out of the main Cast. So why does Clawd have to settle with 6?

Heath Burns : 2. This is just dissapointing.

Jackson Jekyll : 4. Okay, what about Holt?

Holt Hyde : 2... Why does Jackson get 2 more? Shouldn't they have an equal amount? And whose idea was it to never make a doll Half Jackson-Half Holt?! That would've been a perfect comic-con exclusive!

Gil Webber : 4. Though I know for some of you that's 4 too much.

Invisi-Billy : 2. What's weird is that one of them is in a random 5 pack with Draculaura, Clawdeen, Spectra and Gigi. Not even a two pack with Scarah?

Garrot Du Roque : 1. Kinda sad. They could have made a lot more considering he's a fashion designer.

Finnegan Wake : 1. Okay so he was the winner of doll vote and he earned it. Probably the most unique doll out of them all.

Neightan Rot : 1. Just like the other hybrids. Sad really, they could've done a lot more with all 4 of them.

Hexiciah Steam : 1. Kinda cool that he actually got one. And a comic-con exclusive two pack with Robecca at that.

Hoodude Voodoo : 1. Love that he's just a ragdoll. Another comic-con exclusive. Seems fitting. Also comes with Scarah.

Manny Taur : 1. Another comic-con exclusive. This time in a two pack with Iris.

Kieran Valentine : 1. Say it with me folks, "comic-con exclusive two pack" with Whisp. And from the looks of his diary, it wouldn't surprise if he was planned for another two pack with Spelldon Cauldronello. But of course, corporations are homophobic so we don't even get to see what Spelldon would've looked like.

Sloman "Slo-Mo" Mortavitch : 3. I'm sorry what?! Why does Slo-Mo get 3 dolls?! Heath only got 2! But Slo-Mo gets 3?!?

what the monster high boys buy at mcdonald's (probably...maybe)

clawd: this wolf's getting a meaty burger like a triple cheeseburger or an angus with a frozen coke - he needs the proteins (or slushie/freeze?? whatever yall call a frozen icy drink thing in your country)

deuce: definitely chips and a sprite to share with his snakes

jackson: you know this boy gets a large, single black coffee with 3 extra shots to deal with not only holt's tomfoolery but also all the shit he experiences at monster high

holt: he's the one who gets a mcflurry but adds every topping and sauce to it

heath: a 6 pack nugget happy meal and definitely with a strawberry shake bcus pink is pretty - he'd collect the toys too and ask if there's any others when he gets 1 he already has

porter: this hooligan is ordering food solely to create an art project - my boy will build a tower of apple pies in the middle of the restaurant (he still doesnt listen to both his dads lectures to not play with food and yes i hc he has gay ghost dads)

johnny: classic burger and shake - treats maccas like a 60's diner (which is a vibe ig)

invisi billy: a chocolate sundae but dips his chips in it

valentine: probably some elaborate sweet coffee with caramel syrup but pretends its a long black and a chocolate donut or macaroons from mccafe - depends on the day

neighthan: i dont know why but i feel like he gets a mcchicken with apple juice while giving all the boys a cheeky little therapy sesh at maccas

gil: filet-o-fish

manny: he deserves nothing...
