Just a little fun detail..
THAT KUDO IS SO SHORT HE TUCKS HIS PANTS IN HIGH BOOTS.
Bruce wears those pants just fine, so he wears normal shoes. But Kudo? Look at how big they are on him. He wears boots almost up to his KNEES just to wear those pants. They're so baggy on him that the middle part for where the crotch goes, it's also almost down to his knees
Guy, where'd you get the pants? Are you just that short? Or did you take them from the long-legged Bruce?

I'm fascinated by how this chapter connected the theme of "hands" and the theme of "eyes" to grasp at the essence of connection.
Kudo is looking at his own hand, from which Yoichi was taken. But because his eyes are clear, because they "reflect" the true essence of what he sees, he is able to perceive in his own empty hands the connection that transcends death. It's not about Yoichi's quirk factor, but about Yoichi's will.
In contrast, we have AFO who is holding Yoichi's literal hand - but because his eyes are unable to perceive people's true essence and he can only see them as playthings and possessions, his eyes reflect nothing, just a void.
Connection cannot form through possession. It needs both "eyes" and "hands". The ability to see clearly and to reach out.
And I'm going insane thinking about the other "hand" storylines - like Tomura, OFA or BakuDeku and the other "eyes" storylines - like the entire Todoroki family where not being able to clearly see each other becomes an obstacle to connection.

Kudoichi and Bakudeku
I swear the parrels between Kudoichi and Bakudeku really do seal the deal for me; when Horikoshi writes a strong dynamic, there really isn't room for another person to be added to the bond (in the romantic sense). This unspoken connection between soulmates shows me that they would die for each other, and I'm here for it.
