If you ever get the chance, go online and read the Story of Ladder 118. This was the last picture of them as they went to go save others not knowing No One was coming to save Them.
I was a high school senior in my home room class in 2001. My science teacher wheeled the TV in and said something was happening! It was bad! My classmates and I watched it happen in real time. Two Big Buildings tumbled like Jenga blocks to the ground. One of those towers I stood on 4 months earlier on a class field trip to NYC. I remember the long elevator ride up. Yes, I got on top of the World Trade Center Observation Deck/Roof and had the NERVE to look over the railing and look down. It made me dizzy. So you can imagine how the firemen and service men felt or how people felt having to jump. That was their only chance. But it wasn't a chance. I can go on and on but I won't cause it won't bring those people in NY, DC or PA back. It just won't ….it won't bring the pilots and flight crew, the passengers on the planes (sans terrorist), police officers, firemen, people on the street that helped and didn't make it. It won't and that hurts the most. Today I remember EVERYONE. NY got the spotlight a lot but DC, PA and everyone in between that didn't make it home the night of 9/11 remember them too. It's been 22 years. And every time this day rolls around each year it still feels like I'm the high school senior in my home room watching a bad scene in a movie praying it was fake. Thank you to everyone that helped or tried to….that day. We're forever in debt. 🇺🇲 #911 #remember911

Conversation
Bobby, gravely: Be careful.
Buck: It's just a dog on a tree, dad.
Bobby: Exactly. Which means you're using the ladder.
Buck: I'll be fine! Don't worry.
Bobby, watching Buck leave: ...Eddie?
Eddie, glaring at the ladder truck: I got him, cap.

Do you think next season they will follow up on that scene with Buck in the kitchen with Bobby where he explained the effect of Taylor running the story and how it blew back on him? (And the station of course). Or do you think they will blow over that with a time jump? I think if they decide to continue with the effects of that entire thing with Jonah it could be very intriguing to watch, if there is a further investigation (nothing serious just maybe everyone being questioned and maybe the public looking at them oddly for Jonah even working at the 118). It would be very intriguing to me to see the 118 be this sort of temporary spectacle in different ways after that event because that’s something serious I mean Jonah was a bad man and he was employed at the 118 even though it’s not Bobby or anyone else’s fault for not picking up on it. It could play well into Bobby’s guilt and even Buck. I know Eddie wasn’t even there so it would suck if he got sucked into the temporary spectacle if that does happen. And also it could play into a breakdown for chimney (as well as Bobby and Buck) because if they are all a temporary spectacle and being questioned and all that, chimney could be still thinking about what happened and it could just affect him. I doubt they’ll go this way but the thought alone interests me- thoughts?
i would LOVE to see this, tbh. it would be a really good way to bring bobby's relapse arc to full circle; and to set the stage for buck and chim's respective breakdowns. buck, with his guilt over taylor and "letting her into his home", so to speak and chim not being able to avoid the trauma he faced when its blown into such a big thing. taylor's presence wouldn't even be needed—we could still see the ripple effect of her actions.
especially since bobby and buck have already been in hot water with the department a couple of times, it would be interesting to see how this would affect their standings even further. especially for buck—it wouldn't be a surprise if taylor (and by association, buck) had a bit of a reputation amongst first responders, and this whole thing would build up distrust against buck as a result. after all, we already saw lou assume that taylor was getting info from her 'firefighter boyfriend' and we've seen almost every single first responder on the show hate taylor's guts, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise. this could be very delicious to watch indeed, if the show was willing to go into all those legal technicalities!

what is the 118's beef with their vehicles?? like the ambulance in 2x01, the ladder truck in 2x18, the captain's van in 4x14, the ladder truck again in 5x18...

North west corner
Summary: When the 118 gets to a factory fire, Evan and (Y/n) get stuck in side of the building. Revealing quite a surprise.
Tumblr media
The team 118 was spread over the three rigs they owned, there was engine, ladder and the ambulance 118. Hen and Chimney were in the ambulance, while Bobby, Buck, Eddie and (Y/n) were in the ladder rig.
They were just on their way back to the firehouse as dispatch tried to connect with them. “Engine 118, ladder 118 and ambulance 118, Factory fire at 4545 West Caroll.” Sounded through the radio they had pinned to their chests.
As soon as they received the message, they grabbed their headsets and put them on their heads. And the ladder’s truck sirens were switched to on. Eddie was talking with Buck about some new restaurant down town. Meanwhile, (Y/n) was staring outside the window.
She wasn’t completely present. She had been feeling nauseous this morning, she couldn’t keep anything down. So she was basically performing on an empty stomach.
Completely lost in thought she flinched when her boyfriend who was sitting next to her, patted his hand on her knee to get her attention. She didn’t notice Evan asked her a question. A worried look spread on his face. “Huh?” Came out of her mouth. Evan’s hand was now rubbing up and down on her thigh.
“I asked if you were feeling okay?” (Y/n) nodded. “Yeah… Yeah I’m fine, just daydreaming” she answered him with a slight smile. While (Y/n) received another confused look from her brother who sat diagonally across from Evan. “Are you sure?” Eddie jumped in. The only thing (Y/n) was nod, and continued watching the streets they went rushing by. Brushing off the worried looks of her boyfriend and brother.
She was fine. They didn’t need to worry about her, just a little nausea wouldn’t hurt a soul. Am I right?
(Y/n) felt how the ladder truck came to a stop. Eddie went out on one side of the truck, and (Y/n) hopped out on the other side. She felt how Evan followed her steps. Both his hands resting on her shoulders as he jumped out of the vehicle. Evan took place next to her, putting his arm around her.
He closed the distance between them, his mouth moving towards her ear. “If there is something wrong, you know you can tell me. Right?” He whispered quietly. She nodded. “There’s nothing wrong.” she continued. And planted a kiss on his cheek and walked out of his grip.
As she was walking forward, she saw multiple victims running out of the building. Watching how the flames took over the factory building.
Bobby stood in front of his team, ready to shout orders. Evan and (Y/n) joined the group of firefighters. “Okay! Dispatch said there are still some trapped workers inside, they didn’t say how much. But I don’t like this smoke, so get a hose line in there. Be quick on this one, I’m saying four minutes tops! Hen, Chim, set up triage! Eddie, Buck, (Y/n), you go get those workers out of there! Let’s go!” Bobby’s voice tried to reach his crew. “On it cap!”
The ladder team opened up the compartment where they storaged the tanks, got them out and put them on their back. (Y/n) felt a feeling of discomfort crawling in her arms when she put on the tank on her back, but she ignored it. Maybe it was just a pulled muscle, a wrong movement she made.
Evan took a moment to take a glance at his girlfriend, he knows something is wrong. He could tell, she hadn’t been eating all day and she was absent. Those weren’t things she did on the regular basis. For now, he’d let it slide, they had to get inside to get the last victims out of that building. Hurriedly Evan put his mask on like the others and walked towards the entrance of the building.
When they got in the building, flames were literally everywhere. The flames were surrounding them. “LAFD! Call out!” They tried to call through their masks while also trying to get above the sound of the fire.
Repeatedly they called out that familiar sentence. Waiting for someone to respond while they did a quick sweep. They only had 4 minutes, that’s how much they got from Bobby. In one of the halls, they found one of the missing workers. The man was covered in ashes, and coughing as he couldn’t breathe through the thickness of the smoke. “Hey over here!” Buck called out as he was the first one to discover the man.
Evan lowered down to help the man stand on his own two feet. Eddie stopped him. “I got him! You two go look for others!” Eddie spoke as he took over the injured man from Evan. Eddie slung the man’s arm over his shoulder, giving him the support he needed and tried to make his way back out of the burning building. “Chim, Hen, I’m coming out with one victim!” Eddie spoke through his radio.
Eddie walked through the exit, what was also the entrance of the building. He handed the man over to Hen, so she could check him out and give him the treatment he needed.
Evan and (Y/n) tried to sweep the level for more injured employees. Although (Y/n) was in a burning building, she had a cold sweat dripping over her face and over her back. Her vision went blurry, but she tried to blink it away and follow Evan’s shadow. It could be the lack of energy, she didn’t eat all day. That could be the reason, right?
They entered an office, Buck entered first, searching the office. As (Y/n) tried to steady herself on the doorframe of the office. Trying to catch her breath. Her vision didn’t change. She was still sweating and her breaths became more rapid. She felt like she had run a marathon, but all she did was sweep the building together with her boyfriend. “LAFD! Call out!” Evan’s voice filled her eardrums again.
Bobby was outside, trying to estimate the situation “I don’t like this smoke! I want all firefighters to evacuate the building immediately!” Bobby called through his radio as he sees big clouds of dark grey smoke come out of the factory.
Buck searches the last part of the office, and made up his conclusion. “No one here, we’re coming out now!” Buck called through his radio. Buck turns on his heels, and saw his girlfriend standing in the doorway. “Come on let’s go!” He tried to motivate her.
She felt weak as if every piece of energy was sucked out of her in that little time. Her eyelids were becoming heavy, it took to many energy to keep her eyes open. She really tried to keep herself awake. But she couldn’t. Her heartbeat was ringing in her ears, together with her breathing.
Her knees buckled and she fell down on the floor. Letting gravity doing its work and pull her down to the ground.
“(Y/n)!” he yells out. He couldn’t even notice wat was happening.
He rushes towards his girlfriend and let himself flop down next to her side. “(Y/n)?? (Y/n)??” He panics. He doesn’t know what to do. His hand fell onto his radio, “Mayday, mayday! Firefighter down! I repeat firefighter down!” Buck sounded through the radio.
“Buck what’s going on?” He heard Eddie ask on the radio, his voice was full of worry. Eddie knew that the only firefighter who could be down, was (Y/n) since Evan was the one to speak through the radio. They both were the last ones to pull out of the building. The rest of the team was already outside of the building waiting for orders from the captain.
“Buck?!” Eddie repeated over the radio, almost crushing his radio with his bare hand. Evan put two of his fingers in her neck, and tried to search for her pulse. He couldn’t feel it. He couldn’t find her damn pulse. With trembling hands he reached out to his radio, and clicked in the button they used to speak. “I.. I think she’s having a heart attack” he spoke through the radio.
Eddie’s eyes went wide as he heard Evan’s response. He looked at Bobby. “What’s your location Buck?” Bobby spoke into his radio.
Eddie, who already had put his helmet back on, ready for his sign to go in, looked at Bobby with pain in his eyes. How was it possible that his damn’ sister was having a heart attack? She was twenty two. How does a twenty two year old get a heart attack?
“Bobby we have to get them!” Eddie tried to convince Bobby to let him go in. He was desperate to help his sister. “Eddie Stand down.” Is the only thing what came out of Bobby’s mouth. Bobby couldn’t let Eddie go in that fire hazard. It wasn’t safe.
Evan noticed how the fire came closer to them. “(Y/n)!” He called one more time, desperate to get her awake again. “Shit!” He cursed to himself as his attempt to get her awake again didn’t work. He stood up from (Y/n)’s side, and grabbed the handle they used to get the tanks to sit in place on a back of a person. He put both of his hands on the two straps which were holding the tank of his girlfriend into place. And he dragged her towards the office, which hasn’t caught fire yet.
Another explosion took place in the factory Evan and (Y/n) were in. Evan had to perform CPR, and find a way out. If he waited any longer, he could lose his girlfriend, and his best friend’s sister. “I’m starting CPR now!” He yelled through his radio. Evan didn’t bother to open her florescent jacket, it was too risky. The fire was already coming for them both. He had to do this now, he couldn’t lose more time. Evan locked his fingers together, straightened his elbows and pushed down his hands against (Y/n)’s chest.
“Come on baby, come on!” He tried to motivate her to come back to reality as he continued to push down on her chest. “You’re not allowed to do this (Y/n). You can’t go anywhere.”
Why didn’t Evan notice something sooner, he knew something was wrong. He knew she wasn’t okay and should’ve stopped her as soon as they came on scene.
But now here he was, performing CPR on his own girlfriend in a burning building.
Eddie turned towards Bobby. “Bobby, please you have to let me back in there! That’s my sister!” Tears were welling in his eyes. His heart was pounding as if it tried to break free out of his chest. It almost felt like he was having a heart attack himself.
Bobby gave Eddie a thoughtful look, he was actually considering Eddies request to go back in there. He couldn’t let them die in there. They were his family. And he needed to get them back to safety. The silence was ear deafening. He looked at Chimney and Hen, and then back at Eddie.
“Okay Eddie, let’s go!” Bobby reached out to get an oxygen tank and mask. Bobby put on his gear, as did Eddie. When they were all geared up, they hurried towards the entrance of the building. When another explosion took over the scene. Fire roared in front of the entrance.
Eddie was screaming out so loud, that he couldn’t notice how hard he was screaming. Bobby grabbed his upper arm and pulled him back from the entrance.
Eddie tried to break free of the hold Bobby got him in, he needed to safe his sister and Buck. Tears were leaving his eyes. He didn’t even think it was possible to have that many tears.
Bobby’s hand reached his radio. “Buck, the entrance is blocked. Put her on your shoulder if you have to. But you get the hell out of there, do you hear me!” Bobby ordered Evan.
Evan was putting all of his strength into getting his girlfriend back to life. He was pretty sure he heard and felt a few ribs cracking. He was exhausted. But he couldn’t give up. Tears were rolling down his face.
Buck stopped his compressions when he reached yet another thirty and slumped over her body to try and feel her pulse.
Nothing.
Evan threw off his oxygen mask, and gently took hers off too. His face was covered in ashes, drenched in sweat with a mix of his tears. He put his mouth over hers, and breathed into her lungs 2 times. Normally they wouldn’t do this. They had a rescue breath mask for that. But right now, he had to try this. He wouldn’t stop until he tried everything he could.
“(Y/n), if you can hear me. You have to wake up! And get the hell out that building!” Eddie tried to motivate her, even though she might not be able to hear him.
Evan interlaces his fingers again and put his fists on her chest again. Going for another round of chest compressions. Buck was blinking away the tears that were dripping off his cheeks onto (Y/n)’s florescent jacket. Gasping for breaths as he continued CPR. Meanwhile Buck was scanning the area he was in, trying to figure out how to get the hell out of this hell hole.
He was focusing himself on her chest, counting each push he gave her chest. Evan’s eyes shot to her eyes when he heard a gasp for breath, desperate for oxygen. She coughed as if she wanted her lungs to leave her body. He took his hands off her chest. “Hey! Hey! You’re fine, you’re okay!” Evan trying to reassure her, putting her face between his hands.
With one hand, he grabbed her oxygen mask and put it back on her face. Her chest was hurting from the pressure Evan used to get her back to life.
Evan noticed a door in the back of the office. He was silently hoping it was a staircase with a fire exit.
They had no time to waste. Evan and (Y/n) needed to get the hell out of that building. Evan could tell (Y/n) was too weak to hold herself up. He put back on his own oxygen mask and put his left arm underneath her lower back, his right arm found its way around her thighs and he hoisted her up in his arms.
Buck hurried forward towards the back door in the office. He turned his back to the door, and kicked his leg back to open the door.
Through the door, a beam of daylight welcomed Evan. There was a window. It was a kind of back office. Evan put back a chair with his feet and set (Y/n) down in it for a moment. He ran towards the window and searched around for anything he could smash the window with. But there was nothing usefull, not a damn thing. The room was already filling itself up with dark grey smoke. Evan didn’t have a choice. He had to break the window with his hands. Without thinking, Evan smashed his arm through the glass, immediately breaking the rest of the old window.
“Buck. Status update.” Bobby ordered Evan through his radio. The radio went silent. No answer from Evan nor (Y/n).
“Baby I am sorry, I need to do this.” He told (Y/n) as he fully ignored Bobby through the radio. The flames were already taking over the small walls of the back office.
He grabbed (Y/n)’s right arm with his left arm, lowered himself down and put his right arm around her thighs. And he hoisted (Y/n) over his shoulder as he fast made his way through the window with (Y/n) dangling over his shoulder.
Another explosion took over the building. The roof started to come down, as Evan tightly held (Y/n) in position.
Eddie felt his heart beating in his throat. He was pretty sure he was about to throw up. His eyes were on the entrance of the building as another loud bang sounded through the air. Bobby was trying to get in touch with Evan and (Y/n). “Buck. What’s your status?” Bobby called again through the radio. Nothing but noise from the frequency sounded through the radio.
Eddie stepped back. He put both his hands in his hair and was pretty sure he pulled some strands of hair from his scalp. He looked up at the sky, as he tried to stop the tears from falling down his face.
Bobby tried to radio Buck one more time. “Buck what-“ he couldn’t finish his sentence as he saw movement next to the building. Evan’s broad frame came in to his sight. “Eddie!” Bobby called out when he clearly saw Buck rushing towards them with (Y/n) over his shoulder. Eddie’s eyes shot towards Bobby, and then to the person Bobby was pointing at.
“Chim I need a gurney over here!” Before Bobby could even finish his sentence, Chimney came running down with a gurney with Eddie right behind him. “And get a hose line and water tank on that building!” Bobby continued shouting his orders.
When Evan reached the gurney, he slowly sat (Y/n) down on the gurney. While Bobby tried to take off the oxygen tank off her back, Eddie helped to gently take off her oxygen mask. Evan also took off his mask and let his gloved hand slide over his girlfriend’s cheek while she was coughing. He stepped back to give Chimney the space he needed to examine (Y/n).
Chimney held a light in front of her eyes. Asking her to follow it with her eyes. (Y/n) weakly tried to slap back his hand. “I’m fine” she groaned, and pushed herself up to get off the gurney when her knees buckled again. Eddie catches her just in time before her body met the floor again.
Evan rushed to her other side, next to Eddie. While Eddie and Evan try to push the female firefighter back on the gurney. She tries to push them both back. “Hey! Hey! Hey! (Y/n). Stop. Please.” Evan tries to stop her.
She stopped pushing them both. Evan took a step closer towards his girlfriend who was sitting on the gurney now. He carefully took one of her hands in his. “I know you’re not fine. I knew it from the beginning you stepped out of that ladder truck.” He confessed. He wasn’t that stupid. “I could see it on the look on your face. This past week, you’ve been acting so strange. So please, tell me. What’s going on. A twenty two year old doesn’t get a heart attack just like that.”
A silence fell. (Y/n) her eyes fell down looking at her hands. One of them was holding Evan’s. She squeezed her eyes shut. Trying to avoid the waterfall of tears, that was trying to make its way outside of her tear ducts.
She sighed.
“I’m pregnant Buck, that’s what’s been going on.”

Fuck-It Friday Coda
Tagged by the amazing @hippolotamus @jesuisici33 @wikiangela and @tizniz (who dropped a whole new fic!) Thank you so much! Hope you all are just as hyped for bi-buck as I am!!!!!!! Not much to say than what's being said everywhere for 7x04. Here is my coda this historic episode and it can be read on ao3 as well. Enjoy!
It’s never really a surprise anymore whenever Buck runs into Tommy at the 118’s favorite hook and ladder bar. Hell, before they broke up, Tommy took him to this bar on a couple dates. Awkward dates but dates all the same.
Buck is waiting for the latest rounds of drinks at the bar when a familiar hand lands on his shoulder, “Hey Evan.”
He whirls around and comes face to face with the very man that opened Buck up to whole new world. “H-h-hey Tommy.” He greets nervously, gaze flickering over to where his team, Maddie, Athena, and some friends from dispatch sat.
Tommy catches it and smirks, “Here with the entire crew huh? What’s the cause for this meet up? Didn’t see or hear about any big Buckley heroics over the radio waves.”
Buck finally catches Eddie attention, and his partner stiffens slightly at the sight of Tommy. They were all still friends, mostly, but after the pilot ended things with Buck, sides were taken… in more ways than one.
“You lied back then. In your loft, before I kissed you.” Tommy stated, staring out the hanger doors, hands shoved deep into his flight suit’s pockets.
Wretchedness gripped Buck’s throat tightly. He knew where this was headed, and for just the briefest moment he wanted to fight it. Fight for what he and Tommy had. “I didn’t lie. I wanted to get to know you, I thought-I still think you are cool, and I just wanted you see that.” His voice was high and tight with the brittle lie.
Tommy shook his head and Buck caught his grimacing smile, “Buck you need to stop lying to yourself and open your damn eyes. I have and you want to know what I saw?” His voice cracked with anguish.
Buck’s lower lip trembled, and he could feel the prickle of tears. He didn’t want to know. He didn’t want to face it. Because if he opened his eyes to what Tommy is seeing, the despair would be 10 times worse than what he’s facing at the time.
Always the bravest of two of them, Tommy scoffed at Buck’s silence and pushed on, “You weren’t vying for my attention. You never have. Evan you never did any sort of chasing in this relationship, I did. I so was blinded by how endearing and open you were about your best friend, that I failed to see you misplacing you’re confused emotions onto the nearest person showing you affection. Me.”
The tears began to flow when Buck shook his head, “No Tommy. I liked you; I just didn’t know about that part of myself until you showed it to me.”  He tried defending.
His boyfriend snorted, “Liked. Past. Not present.”
And Buck’s heart dropped into his gut.
Finally, Tommy looked at him and everything in his stomach becomes rancid at the utter heartbreak on the older man’s face, “I’m glad I could help you embrace your bisexuality. Truly I am. I know how freeing it can be.  But Evan, those feelings you’ve have for men, for that one special man have always been there and instead of facing them, you took the easy way out with me. And fuck man, it hurts. It really does.”
“Tommy…” Buck started, but Tommy’s hand gripping his wrist silenced him.
“Evan-Buck. Its-well it’s not entirely okay, but you didn’t know or see and neither did I. At least not until you came back from Chim’s bachelor party. You two couldn’t even look each other in the eye and you’ve been off since.”
That’s because he and Eddie got into the biggest fight of their lives during Chimney’s bachelor weekend.  Because Eddie had been acting off since Buck came out, even though he promised nothing would change. Because Buck once again became enviously green when Eddie kept his attention on the private bar tender. Because Eddie looked Buck in the eye and asked, ‘Why does he get that part of you?’ in the middle of their screaming match that Buck still has no idea how it started but ended there. Because they both walked away, too scared to confront any of those feelings. Because Buck knew deep down, he wanted to give everything he was giving to Tommy, to Eddie and so much more.
“You are such a wonderful man Buck and I know it was never your intention to hurt anyone. But us being together, it’s destroying me and you and...” Tommy sucked in a sharp breath, “And Eddie.”
And there it was. Everything that Buck has been denying since Tommy confronted him in his loft.  The person who was really behind Buck’s complex and confused emotions those few months ago. It was time Buck accepted it. It was time to open his eyes. It was time to let Tommy go.
Buck let out a sob and tugged Tommy into a tight embrace, “I’m sorry, I really am.”
Tommy sniffled, “You have nothing to apologize for Evan.” He pulled back and put Buck at arm’s length, giving him a wet smile, “I was more than honored to be your queer awakening and guru.”
Buck barked out a soggy laugh, “You turned my entire world on its axis man, but in the best way possible.”
“You’re a special one Evan and Eddie… god what you two have and what it can be.” Tommy shook his head chuckling, “I can’t stand in the way of that anymore.”
The younger firefighter stuttered out a breath, “I think that’s more on me than you.” And gets a hum of agreement from his now ex-boyfriend. He stuck a hand out, “Friends?”
Tommy didn’t even hesitate and slapped his own hand into Buck’s, squeezing tight, “Absolutely. Just give me some time, and yourself as well.”
Buck took two days after the break-up to mourn what had been his best relationship to date, to wallow in his unknown carelessness, and to confront those mixed emotions that drew him to Tommy in the first place. Then he packed his duffle and went to work.
Chimney was the first to confront him since Tommy turned down a night out at the karaoke bar and explained that he and Buck broke up. Hen followed because those two paramedics tell each other everything. Bobby reminded Buck that he was willing to listen before giving his shoulder a squeeze. Ravi seemed, relieved, but sympathetic. And Eddie pulled him into the tightest embrace asking, “Why?”
Buck didn’t give him the entire answer. Simply stated, “It wasn’t working.”
Months later Buck gave him the entire truth by taking a page out Tommy’s book and kissing Eddie senseless with a firm grip on his chin.  Eddie, who was babbling away in his kitchen about not seeing what was in front of him and desperate to know if Buck is willing to give Eddie every part of himself, kissed Buck back with ferocity. When they pulled apart Buck finally told him why Tommy ended things, “He saw what we were all too scared to look at.”
That was almost a month ago and Buck is deliriously happy with his life, with his boyfriend, with Eddie. He doesn’t need to be weird or nervous around the man that helped lead him here.  So, he winks at Eddie, telling him it’s all good, and gives his attention to Tommy. “No big newsworthy rescues. Though Chimney did rescue his 100th cat.”
Tommy shakes his head laughing, “An almost impossible feat.”
“Very much so.” Buck comments, “We’re here to celebrate Maddie’s promotion at dispatch. Officially a supervisor.”
“Hey good for her!” Tommy exclaims, “Honestly surprised it took this long. Her voice seems to be on all the major calls lately.”
Buck nods, “Yea. Would have been a different ending for all of us after the bridge collapse last year if it weren’t for my sister.”
“Man, you Buckley’s and your heroism.”
Buck blushes, Tommy Kinnard always the charmer. The other man smirks, knowing the effect he has on him still. “You look good Buck. Happy. Wouldn’t have anything to do with a certain firefighter that’s all over your Instagram lately? Hm?”
As if summoned by Tommy’s mere mention of him, a red Henley covered arm snakes its away around Buck’s waist and warmth lines up along his back. “Hey Tommy, good to see yuh man.” Eddie greets smoothly before nuzzling close to Buck’s ear, “Get that drink order in yet babe?” He asks just loud enough to be overheard by certain people close by.
The pilot’s smirk broadens, but gives a friendly slap to Eddie’s back, “Good to see yuh too Diaz. Been a minute.”
Eddie nods and his nose moves along Buck’s jaw at the movement, making him tremble, “It has. Maybe we can meet up to spar sometime.”
Before his bisexual awakening and the admittance of his true feelings, hearing his boyfriend make plans with another man would have sent him on a downward spiral. Now, thanks in part to Tommy, Eddie, his sister, and the entirety of the 118, but mostly himself, Buck is secure and at peace with his place in their lives, in Eddie’s life.
But that still doesn’t stop his big hearted, ever thoughtful boyfriend from asking, “I know I’ve only taught you the basics, but you could join Evan.”
Buck leans back into Eddie’s embrace and brushes his lips against his partner’s cheek, “Hmm. I’d rather go for the title on more equal grounds, and I really want to save myself the embarrassment of Tommy seeing my ass get kicked.”
His ex snorts out a laugh, while Eddie’s cheeks pinken at Buck’s innuendo of the actual kind of sweaty, half naked situation they want to be in. “Still shameless as ever huh Evan?” Tommy comments.
Buck shrugs, “Nothing to be ashamed of. My boyfriend is hot and I prefer to have my ass handed to me in more intimate ways. But you two can kick, spin, and punch your little hearts out. I’ll enjoy some time with Christopher, maybe even take him to a field and play the much superior sport, football.”
“God you really do not like basketball huh?” Tommy retorts with a shake of his head, probably remembering the first and last time they played, ending with Buck almost breaking Eddie’s ankle in a confused jealous rage.
“I won’t let him near anything orange and spherical.” Eddie jokes giving Buck a tight squeeze. “But if you are up to it, I would love to come over and go a few rounds. You do have a pretty sweet set up.”
The LAFD piolet grins, “Bring the Chevelle too, we can give it a once over.”
Buck makes a mental reminder to give the back seat of said car a good cleaning because the last time he and Eddie drove it out, Buck took Eddie apart in back seat and a t-shirt wipe down definitely did not suffice as ‘clean up’.
Eddie clears his throat, and his blush deepens. Yea, he’s thinking the same. “Sounds good. I’ll shoot you text and set up a time.”
Knowing the conversation is coming to an end, Buck flags down the bar tender before looking over at Tommy, “You should join us. Drinks are on,” He pauses trying to remember who lost the credit card roulette and laughs when it comes to him, “Drinks are on Josh.”
Tommy softens at the invitation, “Drinks with the 118, haven’t done that in a while. I’m in. Miller lite to start.”
Buck laughs, “Yea I know. Go join the others, Eddie and I got this.”
“Yea, I know you do. BuckandEddie, the dream team. Happy for you both, truly.” Tommy kindly states, then gives a shoulder pat to the two of them before strolling away to join the 118 and dispatchers. They faintly hear loud cheers and greetings when he gets close, their friends and family always happy to see the man who put his life and career on the line for them.
Buck places their drink order and when the bar tender slides away, Eddie pulls him back into his chest and growls into his ear, “You may not be green with envy anymore, but I sort of am.”
A shiver runs down Buck’s spine at his boyfriend’s possessive tone and knew all too well that their time at the bar was going to be short lived…unless.
“It’s no Chevelle, but the jeep is parked pretty close.” Buck breathlessly tells him.
Eddie gives him a wicked grin, “You want to take me in the jeep?”
“Wanna go for another title?”
I put in so many references from the episode and previous episodes too, as mini celebration to the 100th episode. Hope you all enjoyed! I need Tommy to somehow witness the true chaos of the 118 unfold on a scene. He's heard the stories; everyone in the LAFD knows how insane the 118 can get when it comes to saving people. Hell, half the stories that circulate are too insane to be true. He works with Lucy Donato, who will not hesitate to express how crazy his old station is now.
Tommy's there as a civilian when the accident happenes. The 118 pulls up and pile out and he feels Evan's eyes on him before he even sees him. Tommy's out of immediate danger and didn't get hurt, so once Evan realizes that Tommy's safe he's back in focus with the 118. Tommy wants to help, but he's used to being air support and can't figure out where he's needed because they all have fucking telepathy or something.
They're such a well oiled machine they all know what they need to do and what needs to get done (even Ravi) so Tommy is just left standing at the ladder truck with a dumbfounded look on his face watching Evan in full force rescue mode and can't help being hot and bothered about his boyfriend being a firefighter.

how do you have so much faith in buddie after that episode? i just feel like the show just told us buddie won't happen but buck will be with a guy(maybe not tommy) but some other random ass guy.
Because:
"You can have my back any day." "Or you could have mine."
Buck taking Eddie to collect Christopher after the earthquake
Buck recognising that Eddie needs support, and finding Carla for him
"You two have an adorable son."
Buck and Christopher in the tsunami
Buck telling Eddie that he lost Christopher
Eddie literally coming to the loft and reassuring him that he trusts Buck more than anyone in the world
The lawsuit breakup and reconciliation
"Wanna go for the title?"
Ana says Christopher shouldn't skateboard, so Buck finds a way to build him a skateboard.
Eddie gets trapped at the bottom of a collapsed well, and Buck CLAWS AT THE DIRT SCREAMING FOR HIM (aka the television moment that changed my life forever)
Abby comes back, and Eddie is RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of it.
Buck going out of his way to buy Eddie the coffee machine he secretly wants
Buck Begins, where Eddie spends the entirety reassuring Buck.
Eddie starts dating Ana, so Buck starts dating again (because one can't date without the other panic dating as well)
Eddie gets shot in the street and Buck is literally splattered with his blood
Buck crawling under the firetruck to save Eddie's life
Buck having to tell Christopher that Eddie was hurt
Buck RACING TO THE HOSPITAL WHEN EDDIE WAKES UP - oh Ana is there? No she doesn't matter, Buck is the one that matters
Eddie telling Buck that he isn't expendable and confessing that he changed his Will so Buck would be Christopher's guardian
Ana being mistaken as Christopher's mother and Eddie subsequently having a panic attack about it
Buck recognising that Eddie wasn't in love with Ana and essentially guiding him into breaking up with her
Leading to the most queer-coded breakup in the history of television. "The idea of us??" Eddie
The hostage situation; the gun going off and Buck thinking that Eddie is hurt
Depression era Eddie, and Buck literally breaking down the door to rescue him
Buck then being there for him every step of the way. Girlfriend? what girlfriend
Culminating in them working together again when dispatch burns down, and Eddie returning to the 118
Buck FINALLY ending our misery and breaking up with Taylor
The family scenes at the start of season 6
Buck getting struck by lighting and Eddie climbing the ladder to try to pull him back UP because he was so panicked
Eddie trying to get to him; Eddie giving him CPR
Eddie telling them to DO MORE
Eddie sneaking Christopher into his hospital room and crying at his bedside
Buck knowing in his coma dream that Eddie and Christopher were missing
Eddie being Buck's safe place; the only place he can fall asleep
Eddie taking him on a poker date and apparently not railing him afterwards??
the look on Eddie's face when Buck tells him that Natalia "sees him"
And Eddie immediately trying to date because Buck's taken
The fact that we start season 7 with Buck already single and Eddie having essentially filled a permanent babysitter role in his life with Marisol
Eddie and Tommy becoming friends, being the cause of Buck's jealousy - this is not about Tommy, by the way, because Buck hasn't quite figured the Eddie of it out YET
All leading to the BIG BI KISS
And wherever the fuck the next episode is taking us
So yeah, one kiss doesn't invalidate five six seasons of build-up, and that's why I'm not worried.

Buck & Eddie: They're Soulmates!
Tumblr media
Buck and Eddie share a once in a lifetime love of each other's lives type of love that transcends space and time.
Tumblr media
The love they share is not platonic, it's romantic and the natural chemistry they have is OFF THE CHARTS.
Tumblr media
There are people who wish they could have one tenth of the love they share with each other and that's why over the years, the show has made it a point to highlight and compare their love interests against the other one as a way to prove Buck and Eddie are meant for each other.
Therefore, can it once and for all be acknowledged that the possible reason why NONE of Buck’s previous relationships with AC, AM, TK and ND never worked was because THEY WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO?
The same goes for Eddie because NONE of his relationships ever worked either including the one he had with Chris' mother. SD, AF and now M (who the show still hasn't given a last name and that speaks volumes as to how long she'll possibly be around) didn’t or won't work for Eddie because THEY WEREN'T/AREN'T SUPPOSED TOO EITHER?
It's interesting to see all these takes on how some people view their previous relationships with those women through rose colored glasses and saying things like they could have been great if... (_______ fill in the blank with whatever randomness you'd like). The point is they weren't meant to be anything but a placeholder until Buddie goes CANON.
Buck
There have been so many takes on Buck and TK being perfect because they were cute together but did everyone who thinks that forget she was willing to throw the 118 and their captain under the bus in 2x6? Don't even try to rebutt it with logic from that fake redemption arc that was included in 5x7 for her because in 5x17 she ultimately accomplished her goal by doing exactly what she intended four years earlier when she broke a promise she made to Buck and ran with the Jonah story then wrote a raggedy book about it exactly one year later in 6x17. It's true that Buck knew who she was but he still dated her (which speaks more to his poor decision making than hers) but they both knew it was wrong from the start. They were never going to work and they were never FRIENDS. Friends don't treat each other like $hit so they can get their way then expect for you to just be ok with it and follow it up with a half @ssed apology like, "I'm sorry you're still upset about the story" 🙄. With friends like that, Buck doesn't need enemies.
AC literally ABANDONED him but there are still people who think she would have been good for him. It appears they forgot she FOUND a man with two kids in another country and in 3x18 she came back two years later to rub Buck’s face in it. She didn't even have the decency to apologize to him.
AM was the worst of all because SHE WAS NEVER THERE WHEN BUCK NEEDED HER. Was she nice, yes but she didn't know him at all and when his leg got crushed by the ladder truck in 2x18, she dipped and ABANDONED him too. But for some reason, she's being heralded as his best relationship ever which is so far from the truth it's funny sad not funny haha. She left him in his loft with a cast on his leg because she didn't know what she wanted.
ND was/is only interested in Buck because he DIED! THAT'S IT! There's nothing else to the story. She clearly COULDN'T SEE HIM because they only knew each other for two seconds so please stop romanticizing their hookup like it was some "Gone with the Wind" love story because that's a bunch of BS since they didn't and still don't know each other.
Eddie
SD was NOT the perfect wife and mother people who wanted her to stick around and coparent Chris with Eddie have made her out to be. The show clearly retconned her character in 6x15 like she was so young and she didn't deserve to die but be clear, the relationship she had with Eddie was toxic as F%ck! All they did was argue and instead of talking, they had sex. They didn't communicate and when she was ready to leave again, she thought she would have time to come back and be "someone's wife and someone's mother" (her words but notice she didn't say Chris' mother or Eddie's wife, she said someone's) but her time ran out and she didn't get the chance, hence the title of the episode she died in, "Careful what you wish for". Trust and believe she had a lot of faults and Eddie did too but her being young wasn't an excuse for her leaving Chris and not contacting him for almost 2 years. If Eddie wouldn't have contacted her about her interviewing at Durand, would she have ever come back? Who knows but probably not since she was out there living her best life like she didn't have a kid.
AF was nice but just because her and Eddie were cute together, it doesn't mean they were soulmates. Did the people rooting for them to stay together even realize that she was Chris' schoolteacher in 3x12 but she DIDN'T OFFER EDDIE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO HELP CHRIS SKATEBOARD? That was literally her job but she was career driven which isn't a bad thing but it seemed like she was in love with the idea of being in love just like Eddie was. She was trying to avoid dealing with the issues that were prevalent in their relationship and she didn't even ask Eddie about his panic attacks to try and find out what was causing them. But she did throw them in his face when he broke up with her.
M is IN LOVE WITH HER BROTHER! It was clear she was in 6x5 when she almost kissed him on the mouth while they were in the ambulance. Also, she's a loner, hence the meaning of her name, Marisol, it literally means solitude. When Eddie met her, she was doing upgrades on her home by herself until her brother showed up and made a complete mess of things. If Eddie does try to pursue something formidable with her in season 7, everyone knows how it will end because EDDIE TOLD THE AUDIENCE IN 6X14... he'll be performing and trying not to panic and his performance anxiety will be at a level 100.
Buddie
Who's never left Buck? EDDIE!
Who loves both Eddie and Chris? BUCK!
Who takes care of Buck? EDDIE!
Who listens to Eddie? BUCK!
The list can go on and on but the point of this post is for those who chose to see what they want to see instead of what 9-1-1 has CLEARLY been depicting for Buck and Eddie over the past six years. None of Buck’s or Eddie’s love interests were written to work because they weren't/aren't supposed to.
No one has natural chemistry with them like they have with each other and it's written that way on PURPOSE!

Hey how are you? I hope all is well. I was wondering if you could do a request where everyone in the 118 fully forgets the readers birthday except for Buck and the reader is upset because she always makes to at least say happy birthday to someone when their birthday comes.Buck is also in love with the reader and after work he goes to her apartment to wish her happy birthday and confess his feelings. (They both are in love with each other) He ends up cheering up the reader and spends the night (if its not too much can you add smut with fluff afterwards)
I'm sorry this is so long and Thank you!

a/n: warning for smut toward the end, but no where else! hope you enjoy bc birthdays are so special to me 🩶
even as a little girl, y/n loved her birthdays. waking up to the smell of sweet pancakes and seeing her friends made her ecstatic. birthdays usually get sadder by the year, as you inch closer and closer to being a senior, but y/n always took it as a celebration. why wouldn’t you celebrate your life? she’s been so happy since she came to la, and it’s a way to appreciate herself from all she’s dealt with.
the morning sun shone through her windows, leaving an orange color on her bedsheets. her work alarm yanked her out of her slumber. today, she was excited to wake up, maybe too excited. she did her hair as nice as she could and even put on a little bit of makeup for the day. she wanted to feel good on her birthday, so she let herself. yeah, she’s a firefighter, but a cute little up do was never the wrong way to go. normally, she just threw it in a ponytail, but today, she did a pretty low bun and added in a few braids. she grabbed her stuff, walking out the door with the bright smile on her face. it was plastered on there until she got to the station. everyone noticed that she was obscurely happy. not to say she wasn’t normally happy, but there was a glow to her that day.
she pranced into the locker rooms, passing hen and chimney on her way in. she pulled on her uniform and made her way out, starting to help organize the engines. “hey, y/n! what’s going on?” eddie says first. she gives him a nice smile before responding kindly. she’s a little taken aback at the lack of response from her birthday, but she moves on. it wasn’t until hen, chimney, and even her other coworkers didn’t say a thing.
maybe something was planned? a surprise? they could just be busy with work and home, too. they knew her birthday was coming up, and they knew when it was, so she was a bit thrown off. she didn’t want to be too selfish, though. the whole station doesn’t revolve on her terms. she mindlessly thought that they’d say something eventually, maybe they just had other things to worry about them.
y/n was on top of one of the trucks, rolling out and organizing the hoses on top. she didn’t have anyone else up there to help, but she was fine on her own. she did wish she had someone to talk to, especially on her birthday, but it was fine. suddenly, the back of the ladder shook a bit, revealing a thrilled buck who pranced to the top. “happy birthday, y/n!” he beamed, slipping over with his arms out as he embraced her.
“thanks, buck,” she says, returning the smile and graciousness he gave her.
“are you ok? you were so excited for today!”
“yeah! yeah, i’m fine! just thinking about today, that’s all.”
“well, i’m gonna make you have a good day, whether you like it or not.”
“ok, ok,” she curls her mouth back into a grin. “just don’t mention too much about it, i don’t want it to be too big of a deal.”
“i get it, totally,” he replies, starting to help her drag up the long hoses.
the alarm echoed through the whole station, and the team piled into the truck after putting on their gear. y/n sat on the end, staring out the window in slight disappointment about how her day was going. was she being childish? no, not at all, but her selflessness didn’t let her realize that.
“y/n, what’s got you looking all fancy all of a sudden?” chimney asks.
“hot date?” hen adds in. y/n continues to just look out the window, as buck gives his friends a confused look. she understands it now, they probably forgot or didn’t care enough. it hurt especially because they were her family. she came here to la, and she found her best friends who melted into more. they spent almost every day together, so she wanted a little more affection. but, there wasn’t anything she could do about it. she didn’t want to say anything because of tension, and they had enough work to do.
“just with myself,” y/n laughs, covering up her secretly hurt feelings.
“i think you look pretty, y/n!” buck says, shouting over the headphones he has in. she laughs at his volume, but he’s been treating her the best.
y/n was so in love with buck, and he was so in love with her. there’s no other way to put it. work would be a whole different experience without the other. they’re like two peas in a pod and are finishing each others sentences. when you think of silly phrases and metaphors for love, they are every single one.
“alright, lover boy,” chim teases before gazing out his own window.
“c’mon, guys, leave them alone,” bobby turns his head around to take some of the spotlight off y/n and buck. buck doesn’t think anything of it, somehow. he figures they already said something to her, so nothing came across as out of the ordinary to him.
they arrived to a scene, solving the calamity and issues that were sparked with the fire. it was quick, they do it every single day, so they were prepared and there were several hands on deck. multiple calls rolled in throughout the day between small intervals, and all of them passed without the two small words to y/n. none of them cared to ask, or really know anything. she had been painfully obviously distant that day, but everyone was just fooling around and talking about whatever, so they didn’t notice. the sun had finally set, and still, nothing. her day that was supposed to be great was pretty much over, and she felt like nothing happened. y/n didn’t expect too much, but she deserved more than what she got. at the end of the day, however, she still had buck. he was there the whole day by her side, making her crack smiles and break out in laughter, which was his favorite music. y/n decided to jump in the shower, wash off any extra negativity from the day off so she could let it all go. buck walked in the kitchen with everyone else.
“alright, y/n’s showering,” he begins. “bobby! where’d you put the cake and the candles?”
“buck, your birthdays a bit far away, don’t you think?”
“h-huh? no, it’s for…” buck starts to put the pieces together. there is no cake, decorations, or candles for her. they didn’t bother to remember or put the time in for someone who cares so deeply for them. “you guys remember, right?”
“remember?” eddie questions, confusion forming in the room at bucks upset.
“oh my god, that’s why she’s been acting different. it’s her birthday, you idiots! she’s been looking forward to this the whole month, and we don’t have anything for her!”
“shit, buck,” hen whispers. “it completely slipped my mind.”
“me too, i’ve been out with maddie a lot and i must’ve forgotten how soon it was,” chimney responded. buck looks around for any answers he can get, only to be confronted by looks of self pity and sulk.
“really? really,” buck argues. “have you guys completely lost it? chim, on your birthday she planned a whole party in her small apartment for you. bobby, for you, she spent hours with athena making sure it would be perfect. same with you, hen! eddie, she made sure all of us were there for you and had gifts for you to make you smile. she did all of this to make you guys feel loved. it’s one day a year, and she deserves it just as much as you all did.”
the team shared disheartened faces to each other, realizing what they’d done to y/n. she was without a doubt, the sweetest person at the station. she makes every single day a memorable one, especially the birthdays of her best friends. they tried to come up with reasonable answers as to why they didn’t remember, but none of them were justifiable. so, they waited for y/n to come out of the locker rooms, but she didn’t. her shift was ending, so she just went home. there wasn’t any time to plan anything, and she knew nothing was going on. buck can’t keep a secret if his life depended on it.
they sat there in nothing but silence until bucks phone vibrated in his back pocket. he saw y/n’s name lighten the screen, revealing a dispirited text from her.
“hey, just wanted to let you know that i already left, but i wanted to say thank you for everything today. this day would’ve sucked without you <3”
buck sighed after he read the last word, seeing the little heart at the end of it. “well, she already left, so,” buck gets up out of his seat, going to change into his own clothes. he already knows what he has to do, so he rushes over to the nearest bakery, the only one that’s open late at this time.
the owners are just about to close up, when buck runs in like a lunatic. “wait! hold on, please?”
“sir, we’re just about to close,” the woman says, walking outside the counter.
“i know, and i’ll give you a good tip, i swear. i need you to just write a name on his cake, please. youd make a girls day, i’ll pay extra!”
“im sorry, but everything’s been put away for the night.”
buck groans, “fine, can i just buy these candles and this small thing of icing?” afterwards, buck sits in his car and under the happy birthday, scribbles in a messy y/n. it’s not perfect, but it doesn’t matter if it’ll make her happy.
when y/n arrives home, she immediately just goes to sit on her couch. she flips on the tv, whipping a blanket around her shoulders. she plays an old episode of the office, the one where it’s kelly’s birthday. it’s always one that makes her laugh, and why not just rub it more in her face that everyone forgot? she intently watched the episode, wallowing in let down. it was later than normal for her to be up, but she let it slide. it was almost the midnight, so she figured why not just stay up?
the harsh knocking on her door zoned her mind out of the show, standing up and opening the door slowly. her hair was still done, a little messy but still beautiful to buck. she made eye contact with the enchanting soul in front of her, smiling instantly at the sight of a little cake with candles that weren’t lit. “what are you doing here?”
“i’m not going to let you spend the rest of the night alone, not after the day you’ve had,” he steps inside the apartment, and she takes the cake from his hands.
“listen it’s fine, you didn’t have to do this.”
“you’re right, i didn’t, but i wanted to. there’s nothing i wanted more than to make you feel loved today. i don’t know what’s gotten into everyone, but you never deserve something like that. you’re my favorite person there, y/n, and i’d do-“
she cuts his frantic speech off by stepping in closer, connecting their lips for the first time. he’s a little surprised, but silently celebrating in his head. he leans in closer to her, placing his hands on her hips and pulling her into him. “thank you, buck.” she says, and he smiles against her lips.
“you know i love you, right?”
“good,” she smiles from ear to ear. “because i love you, too.”
**
buck doesn’t let himself hear another word from her before he presses his lips against hers again. whatever they had before was forgotten, because it had become more in a flash. he’s loved her for years, but he needed her to know now. he places his hands on the back of her thighs, picking her up and landing on the couch. he’s sitting between her legs, making out with y/n continuously until she pulls apart. she begins to undo her jean buttons, and he starts to take off her shirt. she does the same, gripping the seam and pulling it off to reveal his fit body. she’s seen it before, but in this moment, it sends waves of arousal to her core. buck starts rubbing her through her underwear as quiet moans are released from y/n. “buck,”
“yeah?”
“whatever you’re about to do, don’t stop.”
buck takes that as a sign to continue, letting her stand up to slide herself out of the rest of her garments, as he strips to his boxers. his eyes sprint up and down y/n’s body, admiring every single part of it before he grabs her by the hips and yanks her in. she laughs out as he starts to plant kisses to his her stomach, making his way up to her breasts, loving on each one.
he’s suddenly pushed back on the couch, y/n’s hands making contact with his shoulders. he’s leaned back against the couch, and y/n peels off his boxers, revealing his dick, hard for her. she starts to wrap her hand around it, pumping it up and down as he groans out. “oh, don’t do this to me, y/n.”
“fine,” she smirks, leaning her leg on the couch and swinging her other one over. bucks hands make his way up to her breasts, squeezing them gently before connecting his mouth to them again like a magnet. she painfully grinds against his erection, causing him to whine from the teasing. it’s not until she runs his tip down her slit, and pushes his tip into her that they moan simultaneously. she sinks down, taking his entire length in her pussy. “oh, fuck, baby.”
“my god, y/n,” he notices y/n trying to muffle her moans, biting on her lip as she bounces up and down on his dick. “hey, don’t try and be quiet, let me hear those pretty moans.”
she starts bringing herself up and down faster than before, letting herself cry out sharp moans at the warm feeling in her abdomen. bucks hands make contact with her tits again, fondling them and pinching her nipples as she continues to ride him. one of her hands is gripping his shoulder, the other sinks down to rub circles on her clit. buck starts to get that familiar feeling back before announcing, “y/n, i’m gonna fucking come.”
“i know, baby, me too,” she pants out, breathless from the repeated actions on his dick. “come for me, buck.”
buck frees a loud moan from his lips when pulling himself out of y/n, releasing all over her stomach as her legs twitch above him. her mouth gapes open as her fingers reach down to her stomach before placing two in her mouth. buck swears he’s died and gone to heaven at the sight of the sexiest woman he’s ever seen.
“got you speechless, huh?”
“h-holy shit, y/n,” buck stutters out. “that was fuckin’- oh my god.”
y/n giggles at his chaotic words, and she places her forehead against his chest, laughing. “thank you. for everything,” she remarks, picking her head up to look at him with her chin on his chest.
“i’d do anything for you. happy birthday.”

Buck x reader - I’ve got you
Tumblr media
Hi I have a fic idea with Buck from 911 and wanted to ask if you would like to write it. Reader is having a bad day and just wants to see her boyfriend Buck, so reader drives to station 118. Sadly Buck isn't there at the moment and the other who are there try to cheer her up. When Buck comes back they hug and Buck is there for reader. Thank you - Anon💜
Everything felt so hard today, like nothing was going your way, and you didn’t know what to do.
Everything was just falling apart, and you wanted to cry, but at the same time you didn’t, you just wanted someone to hold you.
Him to hold you.
So, you left your apartment for the first time that day, trudging to your car you got in and you drove to the one place you knew he would be at this time of day.
Walking into the station, you looked around, trying to find him, but you couldn’t see him anywhere.
You slowly walked around, wondering if maybe you had missed him at some point, walked past him or something, but you still couldn’t find him.
But you did find Hen and Chim, so you walked over to them both.
“Have either of you seen Evan..?” You asked softly.
Both of them turned to you.
“He’s gone out with Bobbie I think.” Chim said.
You sighed, nodding your head and they shared a look before turning back to you.
“Everything alright (Y/N)?” Hen asked you.
You opened your mouth, and closed it again before shrugging a little.
“I just need to see him…”
Hen stood up, walking over, she wrapped you in a hug, and you hugged her back, resting your chin on her shoulder.
Chim got up and walked over, placing his hand on your back.
“He’ll be back soon enough, come on.” He smiled.
They led you up the stairs and sat you at the table, getting you a glass of water and sitting down with you.
They tried to get you to talk to them, but you wouldn’t, so they settled for trying to distract you with games instead.
And it worked for a little while, until you couldn’t focus anymore.
You looked at you watch and sighed, standing up.
“Sorry guys I have to go.”
“You can stay longer you know.” Chim said.
You nodded.
“I know, but I’m just gonna head home. Thanks though.”
Giving them a quick hug, you made your way down the stairs and all but ran into another firefighter.
“Woah, sorry.”
“Sorry Eddie.”
You went to leave and he placed a hand on your shoulder.
“You okay?”
You nodded and he frowned, pointing behind you.
“He’s there.”
You spun around and there stood Buck, walking to Bobby, and you immediately began walking over.
Bobby noticed you and turned your boyfriend around, and the moment he saw the look in your eyes he walked straight over.
He wrapped his arms around you, and immediately you wrapped your arms around him, burying your face into his chest as you took a shaky breath.
“Hey, hey I’ve got you…” he whispered.
He placed a hand on the back of your head, holding it, and he gently kissed the crown of your head, and he sighed softly.
He wasn’t going to force you to talk to him about it, he would hold you for as long as you needed him too.
When you were ready to talk, you guys would talk, but until then he just held you.
You sniffled and he pulled away, taking your hand he led you to the ladder truck and helped you in and closed the door behind himself.
He sat on the floor and held his arms out to you.
“Come here…”
You sat between his legs, curling yourself into him.
Back felt your tears hitting his arm.
“You’re alright… I’ve got you okay? I’ve got you…” he whispered
