Lately I have terrible time and I'm almost crying from stress so have some cuties to bright your day Young Aramis and Larienne back when he was assistance of Royals Librarian. He met Larienne when she was looking for some more romance books and probalby not knowing that she's actual princess chide her for reading such a rubbish. Somehow, they feeling bloomed over their love for books. Aramis started to work hard to became a Royal Archmange so he could be a match for her, wanting to ask King de Rey for her hand. But none of them knew what would happened next.. Larienne ofc is oc of my dear friend @niradelle

Today's work in progress post uwu I always liked the idea of using colored pencils on tonned paper and years ago i bought tanned sketchbook, tried once, failed and never came back xD But after making this sketch I had the feeling that I really want to finish it in this technique I am also trying to be more confident and experiment more with my art, that's why I used blue as shadow ;w; I always was afraid of the coloring phase, especially in traditional art when I can undo my mistakes xD so well, time to be brave not only in art but also in real life Lady on this pic is my oc Jovienne but I'll tell you more about her when I upload finished pic at Friday

Hii! Today's sketch is nothing special. Just one of my oc's colored with promarkers. But if you swipe you'll see the same character year ago and here's something I want to talk about.

Year ago I started to hate my comic drawings. Proportions felt off, even if I liked what I drew I really fast started to hate it. This followed me to make more studies. That was what helped me before when I went to art school. I've made bunch of realistic portraits and then wanted only thing I heard from ppl that I knew and what I had in my mind was "how it is possible for me to catch realistic proportions but couldn't draw simple cartoon face properly". I was doing more sketches, trying to improve. I decided to leave my art style and try something more semirealistic (as you can see in my gallery it still have some cartoonish touch on it xD).

That was the point, year ago when the old drawing (3rd slide) happeed. And, sweet God, I hated it. I still fell uncomrotable looking at it xDD But the worst part was everyone was telling me that she looked better than my comic drawing. Like, way more better.

That was the hardest point for me in my art journey. All my life I was afraid of making changes in my art and when I decided to accually make some, I hated it xD. At that point I was even thinking to give up drawing.

I don't think that I made big progress during that year. More like - I fell more comfortable with my new art style. New one have many flaws too (I already see many mistakes), but AT LEAST I DON'T HATE IT and the point is ot never give up. Once your drawings will look worse, once you'll create something amaizing (I hope I'll be able to do so at least once in my life XD). Remember that every brush stroke you make and all the studies you do is making you better artist. You're awesome, remember it.

Drawing for the 3rd day of Inktober following promptlist of louloucarol's (Instagram), theme was "Crystal" but I also decided to add some flowers My original character - Brenna. She is a Dreamer, mage who can see future in her dreams, but her visions are full of metaphors and can be really ambiguous. That's why Dreamers have to interpretate their dreams on their own. They can help to raise an empire but they can also let one fall. Brenna's visions in the story was focused on two foxes. One, red, having tight collar on it's neck and the other one was white like snow, so she could clearly see blood on it's fur. Hair came out a little to dark since I wanted to play with pentel brush pen more I haven't use it for really long time after I run out of Ink and finally decided to buy some, haha. My lines are super shaky tho, I have terrible problem with making lineart but at least wanted to try xD

Mine and @niradelle oc's Aramis Valarin and Larienne de Rey. He is archmage and Headmaster of Mages Academy and she is a princess who starts to work there as a teacher. Since king needs Academy for training he's army he believes he'll have much more control over scholing process thanks to sending his doughter there. But Aramis and Larienne know each other from the time when the green fox was Librarian assistant as a young boy. When they meet once again their fellings one more time pusch they towards each other Their story will be pretty sad tho, I'm not sure if my heart won't break in the process Do you like sad love stories? Or maybe you prefer happy endings?

Radul and Momo, ship nobody expected. Say hello to my oldest original character - Idris. She's young elven mage and well she's very special oc of mine 'cause she was my 1st humanoid oc back then when I was drawing wolves.
