alright i've finished Elheim except for anything too high leveled ofc... and decided to unlock a bunch of rapports. Colm + Railanor, Lhin + Mordon, Mandrin + Celeste, and Clive + Monica's 1st convos were fun. I like that some rapports involve more than the 2 people mentioned.

i tried to make a recipe for you queen fans

Queen's Battery Acid (for those with corrodible insides)

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1 tbs fresh lime juice 2 mandrin oranges (the juice, not the whole orange!) a few drops of neon green food dye a literal pinch of salt (too much will make it taste bad!) 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup water

put it all in a pot, and keep stirring on HIGH until you can see the bottom. do not let it boil or it might catch fire (i'm serious! i learned!) cool it, and put it in the fridge until cool pour it in a clear glass and enjoy! (21+ can add 2 tbs of vodka if wanted. idk what it tastes like tho of you do add it. i can't drink alcohol.) !DO NOT TRY IF YOUR MOUTH IS SENSITIVE! this stuff stings a bit when you drink it!

i also recommend using a non-explosive glass

Sabaoth Definitely see where you're coming from with this one, considering Sabaoth's connection to Yaldabaoth and the theories we've had floating around with Wonder possibly having a connection to Yaldabaoth as well.

Lugh Another fun one! I'm not sure if this was a specific aspect of what you were going for with this one, but I like that Lugh's also noted as being a master craftsman, with his domains including craftsmen, skills, and trade, because Ruferu was so insistent about Wonder getting a table to work on and learning to craft infiltration tools. (Which, granted, Morgana taught Joker as well, but Ruferu felt more insistent/serious about it to me, hah).

Járnsaxa Huh, a lover of Thor? I guess I see where you're coming from with her, having a connection to electricity, although I guess this one doesn't feel quite as much like it's clicking into place for me.

It looks like Wotan is from this, and is its name for Odin, if I follow? Curious about your reasoning for this one, because I feel like I'm not really following? But maybe it's just because I don't know enough/I'm missing something.

Arisu: no. he took an English class for a trimester and dropped out almost immediately.

Karube: kind of. he can speak some Spanish bc his grandma is Mexican and he visited her while growing up.

Chota: no. same reason as Arisu.

Shibuki: no. same reason as Arisu and Chota.

Usagi: no. she's thought about learning Spanish though.

Chishiya: yes. fluent in both Japanese and French, dabbled in Italian, (Spaniard) Spanish, and English, but never got around to actually learning them.

Niragi: no. he can understand general Latin though.

Kuina: no. if someone was willing to teach her English she'd happily learn it.

Aguni: yes. Japanese and (Latin) Spanish.

Ann: yes. Japanese, Chinese, and Hmong.

Mahiru: yes. English, Tagalog, and Japanese. some Chinese, too.

*curious to know about his Persona and what it means for the game*

Okay, so a quick search tells me that his Persona, Mandrin, is very likely to be one Louis Mandrin, was a French smuggler/highway man/French Robin Hood (another Robin Hood-like figure!) who was from Dauphiné, located in the southwest of France. Louis Mandrin hated the tax collectors, (which at the time was until the Old Regime that lasted from circa 1500 to the French Revolution of 1789).

In 1753, Louis Mandrin and a friend got arrested for a brawl and Louis Mandrin escaped, for on that same day, his brother was hanged for counterfeiting,  and Mandrin escaped, but on swore a personal war against the tax collectors.

Louis Mandrin then joined a gang of smugglers that was in the Cantons of Switzerland, France, ans Savoy, which at the time its own territory state. The gang smuggled bought the goods in Switzerland, and then sold them to the French population that didn’t involve taxes. Also apparently Louis Mandrin and his gang robbed the tax collectors, especially the unpopular ones. This allowed the gang to get lots of local support, but it had the tax collectors wanting Mandrin’s head.

So Louis Mandrin took refuge in Savoy. Remember how I said it was its own territory state? Well, the French tax collectors wanted Louis Mandrin’s head so badly, they sent in 500 men into Savoy in disguises to do that (help that two of Louis Mandrin’s own gang members sold him out). The Duke of Savoy and King of Sardinia, Charles Emmanuel III, didn’t approve of this AT ALL, and sent a letter to the King Louis the XV to return Mandrin back, but before the message could be sent, the tax collectors basically speed-run the trial to execute the guy.

Interesting here that this Persona goes back to the theming of the initial three Personas we know of: Jánošík, Awilda, and Rob Roy. They’re outlaws of sorts. The second set of Personas we learned of are Leucothea, Terpsichore, and Styx. They’re from Greak mythology.

I think it’s possible the blue-hair student, not using his name because it seems it’s still unknown at the moment due to different possible translations of the kanji of his name, joins after the initial first Palace. Maybe he’s the fourth party member. Or the fifth, for there’s still that unknown female party member left we don’t know about.

That, or there’s two groups of Persona users in P5x that start out as rivals, but eventually have to join forces to defeat in the new threat of the Metaverse. Group One is the new ‘PT’ of sorts, consisting of Wonder, Cattle, Closer, the Blue-Hair Student, and Unknown Female Persona User. Group Two is the ‘Classic Theme’ users, consisting of Seiji, Mont, Yuki, and maybe Unknown Male Star Arcana User.

Or I could be wrong on both accounts. Still, this gave me a lot to think about!

Would anyone like to hear me explain what it's like to learn a laungue not commonly spoken in your country while you have DID?

It's something I've recently realized I CAN do and something I really enjoy. Right now I'm learning Korean and I also plan on learning Japanese and Mandrin in the future. As well as some other languages I haven't fully decided on yet.

im still in school but like unless ur like a baby learning mandrin is SOOOOOO hard but it is soooo intertesting fr

yeah i’m in my late 20s and i am sooo laughably bad at it but at least i’ve got my roommate who is fluent to teach me and direct me on my pronunciation. she also usually teaches me the difference between the taiwanese dialect she’s most familiar with and actual mainland chinese. at this point i couldn’t even string together a basic sentence but im learning! i hope to learn more, ideally i would have started learning the language when i wanted to back in high school but was unfortunate unable. we’ve been talking for years about taking a trip to taiwan where she can be our guide but we’re all kinda poor as fuck so it’s taken a bit!

What colour were your school subject files (and what did you associate with it) I'm curious mine changed by sch soo but generally I liked.

Math - 💜purple (mysterious because I didn't know the heck was going on 😭)

Mother tongue (mandrin) - 🍊🍊 orange (if I sound energetic and happy will they grade me higher during spoken exam I am not fluent enough for an A ahhhh)

thronè - fluent korean, a little bit of japanese (all she knows is "please", "thank you", "i'm sorry", and "shut up")

osvald - fluent german, can carry a brief conversation in spanish

temenos - fluent french, fluent italian

agnea - fluent japanese (trying to teach thronè), a little bit of swedish

partitio - fluent spanish, a little bit of ukranian (he learned it for a business trip he went on with papp once)

castti - fluent french, a little bit of russian (andy and randy were from russia so they tried to teach her- trousseau taught her french, and she picked that up much easier)

hikari - fluent japanese, can carry a brief conversation in mandrin chinese, a little bit of thai

ochette - ancient beastling (juvah made sure she knew, and she tried to teach that one beastling the language, but they were struggling so much that she had to take a break and forgot to continue the lessons) (also i know that beastling isnt technically a real language but it has its own alphabet so i figured i'd add it in)

Does anyone who speaks other languages have any ideas as to where to start? I assume I should pick a language first but there are just so many I'm interested in that I'd like some input first.

Some sorta weird tips to help you learn your target language!

Learn head shoulders knees and toes in your target language!

Watch emotionally investing tv shows w/o your mother tongues subtitles! (Target language subs are fine)

Make a dish using a recipe written in your target language! This one is great cause you’re sure to pay attention! ( unless you want your house to burn down?)

Change your phone settings to your target language!

Recently Twice's schedules have been spacey which left time for Tzuyu to continue teaching you Mandrin and in return you were teaching her English.

The two of you sat on the colorful carpet that was in your room and was surrounded by "How to Learn Mandrin" and "English for Beginners" books.

"Ok I will start with an easy one. Zǎoshang hǎo means good morning" Tzuyu said slowly. You look at her confused while she bursted into laughter at your facial reaction. She then said the word slower while showing the way her tongue moved as she said the word.

"Zǎo-shang hǎo" she said slower. You then copied the word she said and after she tried correcting your pronounciation.

Tzuyu noticed your frustration and patted your head, "your getting better, don't stress."

After a few more Mandrin words she then wrote them on flashcards for you to pronounce and tell them what they meant, and she would give you hints when you got lost.

"Now it's my turn" Tzuyu softly said while smiling, her dimples showing. You pulled out a flashcard that had the English phrase "how's your day?" On it and held it up.

Tzuyu then examined the card as she already knew the English alphabet, and sounded out each word by the syllables. "My day was good" she answered with an accent. You internally combusted at her cuteness and pulled her into your warmth for a hug.

"You're so smart" you gushed.

"I am smart?!" She giggled in english.

"Yes you are very smart"

"Thank you, you are berry smart 'nd perety too" Tzuyu cutely said once again making you die from her cuteness.
