March Trope-A-Thon Masterlist | Story Masterlist
This one is for Fearless. This drabble is non-canon, just a writing exercise. I hope it's still good whump though.

Dimitar stroked Kaloyan’s collar gently, humming to himself. Ever since that day, when he forced Kaloyan to drain a mortal, Kaloyan had been perfect. Too perfect. In fact, Dimitar reckoned he could get Kaloyan to do just about anything.
Unlike Nikolay, who still disobeyed recklessly. No matter how many times Dimitar hurt him, no matter how many times Nikolay sustained dangerous injuries, he still disobeyed.
Dimitar had a feeling that Nikolay was one to break by seeing his fae creature injured.
Thus, Dimitar, petting Kaloyan’s hair, enjoying every moment of Kaloyan’s tense shaking, his fear, created a plan.
“Kaloyan, my dear,” Dimitar hummed, “You’ve been such a good boy. I think I should make you my pet.”
Kaloyan’s shaking stopped. His eyes grew wide.
“Yes, my dear. You won’t be hurt, unless you disobey me. You’ll get to leave this dungeon. It’ll be better, I promise.”
Kaloyan stayed quiet. Dimitar felt a muscle in his eye twitch. This wasn’t the response he wanted.
“Now, you’ll need to prove yourself.”
“M-Master, what about Nikolay?”
Dimitar’s eyes narrowed. “Do not speak of him. He isn’t anything to you anymore.”
That shut Kaloyan right up. Kaloyan whimpered a bit, just like a dog. Perfect.
“Now I want you to kneel.”
Kaloyan did exactly as he was told. He kneeled urgently, sinking lower than he already was.
“Now, I want you to bow your head.”
Kaloyan bowed his head. Dimitar petted his hair gently.
“Roll over.”
“What?”
Kaloyan’s voice shook, horrified. He looked up, disobeying Dimitar’s previous order.
Dimitar grabbed Kaloyan’s hair. “Do you want to be punished again?”
Kaloyan whimpered, closing his crimson eyes. “No, Master.”
“Then, roll over. Kneel with your head bowed once you’re done.” Dimitar threw Kaloyan’s head back and waited patiently.
After a couple minutes, Kaloyan did as he was told. He tucked his limbs in and rolled, going belly-up before he kneeled again, head bowed.
Dimitar smirked. “Good boy,” he cooed, petting Kaloyan’s hair.
Kaloyan flinched away at first but Dimitar decided to let it slide. “Now, let’s show Nikolay.”
That got a reaction out of his new-found pet. Kaloyan looked up at Dimitar, before he quickly bowed his head again. He threw no fight as Dimitar put a leash on Kaloyan’s collar and led him to Nikolay’s cell.
“Now, Kaloyan, do you want to show your old friend your new trick?”
Kaloyan stayed still. Nikolay glared from his place on the floor, restrained. “What the fuck did you do to him, you bastard!?”
“You’ll see.” Dimitar leaned into Kaloyan, trying not to be upset with Nikolay. “Roll over.”
Kaloyan kneeled, bowed his head, then tucked his limbs to roll over on his back, before kneeling again. Dimitar could’ve laughed. The dhampir was tall. It was hilarious to watch him obey so perfectly and do what his body wasn’t meant to.
The look on Nikolay’s face, the horror, the ire, the flaming hot hatred was glorious. Most of all, Dimitar caught something he hadn’t seen in Nikolay’s eyes before - hopelessness.
Dimitar smirked wickedly. He didn’t need his words as he led Kaloyan back out of the cell, unrestrained, and gave him cooked blood as a treat.

Let’s talk leashes.
If you are a new paw parent congratulation on your paw journey! You’re probably skimming the Internet in hopes to find the best products for your fur baby. Well look no further as a paw parent of 3 adorable dogs, I’m here with some suggestions.
Over the last 4 years, I’ve tried a couple of leashes. I’ve done the cheap route (guilty of a dollar tree leash for a couple of weeks) to the median route, to the elite, and honey it has been a journey. Now that I’ve tested as much as I could I am ready to share with you two leashes that I feel work best for small to medium size dogs.
*Don’t worry Large dog parents, I will continue the post with two leashes for your paw babies.
With that being said here are my two suggestions hope this helps.💕🐾
1) BAAPET 2/4/5/6 FT Dog Leash with Comfortable Padded Handle and Highly Reflective Threads. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078RZTFJB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
-I’ve had these leashes for 3 years & boy is it durable. They come in a variety of colors. It’s affordable, durable, & the padding is extremely comfortable. (Honestly I might have to reorder 3 more of these, I lost them while on a trip.)
2) Flexi Leash (Retractable Leash)
https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/flexi-new-classic-cord-pink-retractable-dog-leash-16-ft-3105861?store_code=1793&mr:device=m&mr:adType=local&cm_mmc=PSH%7CGGL%7CSPP%7CSBU04%7CSH10%7C0%7Cjvs8sutAVgAKa32BqNLdPU%7C58700007475749825%7CPRODUCT_GROUP%7C0%7C0%7Cpla-1456651186001%7C132788017327%7C15104818983&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsIejBhDOARIsANYqkD1vEBSrripd9di8y0YnF9EVzEecsBPriv-Lle_50XOk-EvEsWPwjjwaAuQZEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
-So as I mentioned I’ve dabbled in a couple of leashes, & like you I’m enjoying my journey & seeing what fits with my lifestyle.
Currently it’s includes the Flexi Leash. I haven’t really been a fan of retractable leashes, but I’m giving them another try.
After doing my research on this “new & improved” classic leash, I thought why not? So far so good. I am able to direct my pups with out the leash being stuck. The quality is also nice. It’s comfortable, but in my opinion it’s not as comfortable as the BAAPET Leash which has padding. It can however be accessorized. The breaking on it is wonderful as well. It also comes with a 2 year warranty.
So?
You be the judge. I went ahead and included both URL’s for them. Merry shopping.

Let’s talk leashes pt. 2
Here’s a pt. 2 of Let’s Talk leashes. As a luxury pet store owner (Celebrity Pawmeranian), I am here to inform you about what’s popping in the dog world.
- Accessories like leashes are a must. Unless you have your pup trained. My dogs are able to walk with, & without.
- What leashes are durable, quality, & fashion-forward? Here are two leashes that do justice.
-Depending on the size of your dog
- Kong is a household name when it comes to dog supplies. I have a couple of their toys, & boy do they stand the test of time. So it's not a secret that their harnesses & leashes are definitely worth the price. Kong products are geared, in my opinion towards the larger dogs.
1) KONG® Comfort Traffic Dog Leash: 4-ft long
https://www.petsmart.com/dog/collars-harnesses-and-leashes/leashes/kong-comfort-traffic-dog-leash-4-ft-long-5324723.html?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmZejBhC_ARIsAGhCqncXm5rAvsWmu5qqe9j9ZgjSX4a9xdV7DTw7hgJA7iEyaoEvMVCkRDkaAjpcEALw_wcB
-LeashBoss products are pretty hot on the market now. Especially when it comes to the larger dogs.
-This leash right here is the real deal. It’s comfortable, and durable. Ranging in array of colors.
2) LeashBoss Original
https://www.amazon.com/Leashboss-Original-Handle-Training-Walking/dp/B01DTMMW0Q/ref=asc_df_B01DTMMW0Q/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241991316466&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9775897671801359724&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011980&hvtargid=pla-400091215374&psc=1
Hope this helps!
Hug your little celebrity for me.💕

Oooo hey what are the color coded leashes?
I know! I'm sorry!!!
I just dropped that in there without explaining and couldn't bring myself to take it out!
Mark is going to do an internet search tonight and see what that lady was talking about. It's a lot like the colored dog leashes that are available.
Usually red is for Caution, Yellow for Nervous, Green for Friendly...stuff like that.
I figured that since people will behave similarly in any universe and will likely just walk right up and touch someone's pet, something like this must exist in BBU! If someone has come across it, let me know!
Options I was thinking are Red for Caution/Will Bite, Orange for Friendly, Purple for Do Not Feed, Yellow for Nervous, Blue maybe for Guard Dog, Black I was thinking would be Do Not Engage (at all, no eye contact, nothing).
The lady was saying to use the Black leash because Mark was actually the reactive one and not wanting her to even look at Jesse. She was being snippy.
Anyway, sorry to drop randomness into a chapter but it was for a reason! 😂

What about Its Not About The Armor and Leashes? what are those about?
WIP ask meme
Thanks for these asks!
It's Not About The Armor stars Xadya, my Bounty Hunter in the Halcyon Legacy, and it comes from an actual scene in the game. Its told from the point of view of Artus Lok, aka Mandalore the Vindicated, when he offers the new Grand Champion of the Great Hunt membership in the Mandalorians.
Xadya's reaction to the offer is… complicated. Mostly because every mandalorian she's run into thus far has either been trying to kill her on behalf of Tarro Blood, or has been telling her she's not allowed to accuse Tarro Blood without hard evidence, even though everyone knew what he was doing.
Xadya asks him what being a Mandolorian means, if that's how bad things have gotten.
In other words, is the only qualification to be a Mandolorian is to own a set of body armor?
Leashes stars Tali, my Imperial Agent in the Adas Legacy (among others) and it takes place during Chapter Two of the agent story. Tali runs into two individuals - Teeanah Malvern and Chria Malcor - who offer to help free her from the Castellan Restraints. In desperation, she accepts, but she worries she's exchanging one leash for another.
The first has in my journal for a looooong time. I don't know why, but the words just don't come.
Thanks for the asks!
