its been enough time for me to stop gatekeeping and Immediately talk about how, in a human au, i choose to interpret the night in cars 1 where lightning and sally talk.

sally listens to mater and lightning talk, mater slowly driving down the main road and lightning trotting along beside, talking to him through the open window. the conversation goes how it does in the movie, nothing much changes there, but when they split lightning makes his way into the motel office to get his room key.

hes Dirty. hes got mud in his hair and sally just cringes because the rooms have white sheets and she does NOT want to scrub dirt off of them. she tells him that, he cant sleep in the room if hes gonna track dirt everywhere. he just kind of winces and apologizes. its not like he really has anything with him, and, on his crash into town, he cut his arm open pretty badly and has gauze wrapped around it. doc still isnt too fond of him, and he tells sally that he cant really shower because doc will Kill him if he ruins the bandages.

without hesitation and out of nowhere, sally is like well i can help you wash your hair in the sink right here! and she cant even process her offer until its already out of her mouth. he gets a kind of shocked look on his face and is like oh! okay. that’d be nice. and they both stand there awkwardly before one of them makes the first move (its sally; she quickly runs into the “back room aka her little apartment” to grab her shampoo)

lightning wanders around the counter, studies the stuff on her desk, and flinches when she reappears. he doesnt really know what do to so he just stands there and waits for instruction.

they get to talking, conversation Basically the same as it is in the movie, shes helping scrub the dirt out of his curly hair and its dawning on her that maybe hes not an awful person after all. maybe he Is a little misguided.

its a generally quiet scene, a majority of the light in the little office/lobby is from the streetlights outside, and its very comfortable. they get more comfortable as they chat, and its at this moment that she realizes maybe she even likes him.

the end of the conversation is the same, he thanks her for letting him stay and Also helping him feel a little cleaner considering he hasnt showered in what feels like years (its been like 3 days)

the next morning shes talking to flo and she thinks she can casually talk about how lightning is actually kind of nice and flos like ohhh honey ure so in love with him arent u. she immediately gets flustered and tries to deny it and all flo can do is give her the knowing motherly look of “u love him dont bullshit me!!!”

her and sallys conversation, though, kind of opens flos mind up to the idea of hearing lightning out — maybe he ISNT that bad.

anyways silly domestic salqueen Gets me . i think stuff like this becomes a little tradition between the two like just quiet comfortable chats over random little things. do you get me.

I mean shout out to the people who say you dont need to gatekeep in the fandom but also like... if you really want to find what you're looking for go search for it? Not trying to sound rude but I'm always in the newest post of creepypasta because some people say great shit!!! People who just create silly quotes or random one off headcannons 👁👁 I see you.

Also I create Gore, Extreme Horror, and Overall Creepy Shit for the creepypasta fandom. I am that person. I do try and inject a much darker view of the beloved characters. But I also make dumb shit because it's fun. (My Tobias smothers anything he eats in maple syrup like come on). Like literally just have fun with your material. Everyone talks about this and that and romanticism and authoritative gatekeeping like bro....

Just have fun. Literally if you just have fun I PROMISE you you'll find who you're looking for. As long as you don't hurt others, as long as you keep a grip on reality and understand that they are ficition! You can basically do whatever the fuck you want.

Want to create Sally Williams into a ghost girl who likes tea parties and making teen killers dress up in frilly pink tutus? Done. Want to instead make her a vengeful, furious, and mischievous spirit who drags and viciously murders adults who try to pray on children? Fucking check bro.

MAY I REMIND EVERYONE HERE!!!!!! I have ocs. I have an oc who is IMMORTAL. She is a powerhouse of a killer and is a whole convicted criminal who is evil and a cannibal. A southern woman who won't hesitate to take down anyone of any size, shape, or age (and CAN do so) and immortal. But if you categorized her she falls RIGHT under the mary sue list.

I have an oc whos central theme is the shunning of expression and being gay for traditional values and normalcy. He murders his entire family both older and younger siblings and parents. He burns down his family home. He made a contract with a being that took interest in his sob story of a life. He is a proxy and collects the debts of those who can not fullfill the bill of an old Eldridge creature who allows boones. As people must always pay due.

Seriousness is just as easy as Sillyness and I think people forget that. This fandom is fucking great because you can basically mold the canon into what you want and it'd be fun. The characters literally grow. People have vastly different ideas compared to another and it can create such different views its GREAT. Be creative and get your hands dirty, but do it safely. Don't harm others or be shitty.

I was at Marcus & Briley's wedding. I've wanted to share my experience but I'm an active member of the gvf fandom & I am terrified of the backlash.

My moots know who I am & have heard all this but I guess I just wanted to share it with the rest of you guys anonymously. Just an FYI first though, I don't know Marcus & Briley well. They allocated around 50 "plus one" spots to their closest friends. I was a "plus one" for my cousin. Who has worked with Briley for years. She knew gvf were invited & very kindly took me with her. Ok, so here it is.

1. I was sat on the table next to gvf. There was Josh, Micah, Sam, Hannah, Jita, Jake & the Ida Mae couple on their table along with Danny who moved to sit at the edge of our table throughout the night.

2. Yes, I spoke to all the boys during the course of the evening but I didn't ask for a selfie as honestly it didn't feel right at any point in the conversation. I didnt really want them to know how big a fan I am. I spoke to Danny first we talked about how beautiful Briley looked. Then later on when every1 got up to dance I was pulled up by a guy on my table that was goofing off with Josh. Josh gave me a glo stick and said something along the lines of "we need more of these." I didn't speak to Sam until I got chatting to Hannah first who was so sweet. She complimented my shoes & I said I wish i could go barefeet like Sam and he heard me and told me to just go for it. I didnt because i hate dirty floors 🤣. Finally Jake, probably the best one. He didn't get up to dance but Jita did. And she tried to get him up bless her. Anyway when we were all stood at the side of the dancefloor around our tables i took my chance. I said to him "aww why dont you get up and dance" he laughed and said "its ok im not much of a dancer" lol.

3. Josh & Micah are not a couple. Aside from giving off brother vibes when you see them in person, whilst I was chatting to Hannah she casually dropped it in that Micah was also one of the "plus one" attendees because Josh is a single pringle. (Her exact words)

4. Jake & Jita are very touchy feely. They always had either a hand on each other or would touch each other in their expressions. Jita is very "motherly" in her mannerisms. If that makes sense? I got the impression she does alot for Jake in terms of their everyday life. I spoke to her once and she called Jake her partner.

5. Their sister Ronnie lives in Nashville.

6. Danny was the biggest social butterfly. He moved from their table the most and seemed to know the most people there. He didnt stay in one group too long but always went back to his table after venturing out.

7. Josh can hold his drink. Like...that boy can driiiinkkkk. He was wasted by the end of the night (we all were) but i would say he appeared merry until the last hour. He danced the most.

8. Sam cant dance. Like at all. Like not even a little bit. He tried. But it was just so...nope. But he looked like he was having so much fun he didnt care.

9. Sam & Hannah arent as affectionate as a couple as jake & jita are.

10. I got talking to Chris the guy from Ida Mae and he told me Jake has been in the studio with them recently.

I could go on but thats the stuff i have been gatekeeping. It was a blissful night really the room was full of love. Marcus & Briley looked perfect for each other. I wish them all the best and will never forget my night in their company.

I am so glad tumblr hasn't found out about or is atleast ignoring the live action monster high movie nickelodeon wasted 6 million on in order to try take away every good bit of representation i experienced as a child.

They changed Draculora from a vegan vampire who finds it hard to not give her heart to anybody who will take it and loves poetry and art and fashion into a cold rude upfront witch who now has pink skin for no reason and looks like Melanie Martinez.

They turned Clawdeen from a brooklyn sounding tough werewolf with atleast 7 siblings and a sporty lesbian with a dream for fashion into some nervous clumsy straight bitch who gets hate crimed 10 minutes into her first day at school

They took away Ghoulia Yelps speech impediment which was not only one of her main and most recognisable traits but also the only good representation on autistic people not speaking other than mute i have ever seen.

They made Lagoona BLUE into one of the only actors not covered in body paint and gave her pink hair, they also swapped her personality from a patient and curious no nonsense ghoul whos only exception is her boyfriend who doesnt have the greatest homelife into what looks like an aggressive and violent boot licking wanna be vampire

They made Frankie blue, once again took away all her defining features and straight up made her look like an oc, instead of being the nerdy always eager to learn and brave geek they made her into some kind of robot whos incapable of understanding basic body language but can figure out her principles (who she saw once) bathroom schedule

Draculora is a witch in the live action disaster but she sleeps in a coffin? And hates sunlight? IS SHE A VAMP OR WHAT MAKE UP TOUR MJND NICK

Duece's entire character design, personality and visual wise is a bigger hate crime than the time cops tried to behead a monster student in pne of the GOOD movies, i genuinely thought he was jackson or jekyll.

Heath burns cgi is awful and i couldn't even focus on anything else, his hair is like a car wreck, except a car wreck would make me cry less, ynless it had pullys in it i guess.

Cleo de nile was a mean if not bitchy character in the classic series who was basicly the definition of ghoulboss gatekeep but she was not racist, infact shes the least racist out of her family, shes also that one rich friend who buys everyone stuff, and they made her racist and more than likely into the live actions villian or atleast a side one.

I have more to say but im genuinely about ro cry myself to sleep about all my first ever bits of rep being taken away by nickelodeon again, they are trying to take away the queer, disabled and poc representation that monster high has buikt for us through the years and its horrible and i dont know how to win this other than not watching it and even that feels like losing.

hi dokter (i think i spelled it right? sorry;;). im gonna sound like an asshole and i feel horrible about that but, i feel like a lot of people fake DID and multiple personality disorders. I know that i shouldnt fake claim people and such but, ive been on discord servers and theres a random channel dedicated to alters finding out who they are and then they always know how to set themselves up with a bot mechanic and switch between people rapidly. im a jerk for this, but genuinely in my head there is no logical explanation for how they have amnesia but know and understand discord completely. or how people will have fictives that are nothing like the source, just genuinely nothing like the character. its present in a lot of teenagers that struggle with mental illness and escapism, i think its less of a knowingly faking thing and more of a misdiagnosing themselves and truly WISHING there were more people there and they could share a body with dream. I feel like i do a fair amount of research, and looking into DID leaves me confused sometimes with how a lot of people online display their symptoms. why do alters all share an account and sign it? how do they all know the password? how do they all know how to operate it? (referring to tiktok because so much DID content comes from there, all with teenagers and young adults. i have yet to see someone over the age of like, 23 talking about DID. Not saying that just cause youre young you cant be blank, but i feel like its worth noting.) i guess i consider myself a kind person, and i dont care about what people do if it doesnt harm anyone. but this DOES harm people. i think its mostly people self diagnosing because they identify mood swings, different interests, and a yearning to be closer to their favorite fictional character or not be alone. so they truly do believe that this character is possessing them, even when its truly them changing their voice, putting on different clothes, adding an accent, and such. when people fake an illness, they dont fully understand what its like to have it and act in a way that is not accurate. isnt this the kind of thing that leads to stigmatization? to people completely changing their definition of DID since all they have seen is kids faking and acting like their favorite minecraft youtuber? i dont know. i feel bad since i hear from people with DID that they do feel this way, they feel like people now have a warped view of the disorder from people faking it online. Im not speaking for everyones experiences, maybe some dont care maybe some think its a coping mechanism, i have no idea. im sorry i went off on such a rant. i really like kats blog, she's helped a lot in ways. one last asshole note. A part of me is crying out that youre just kat typing while speaking her true and harsher thoughts under a different name, like an alter ego. im sorry, i know she wouldnt do that and im sure thats not what you are. i just had to ask, to clarify i guess (Even though i more just. stated it. sorry;;). i am probably not very nice in your eyes now, i dont mean to be the mental illness gatekeeper or anything but when you can very clearly tell so many are faking something serious its hard to just, go along with it. p.s. since youre a dokter who shares kats mind, how did you get all the education to be a psychiatrist? i feel like kat alone could be one, since she is very well educated and good at that stuff. is that why? or another reason. jsut genuinely curious;;.

None of us are psych professionals and none of us are claiming to have DID. Like sure there is a general issue of misdiagnosis causing the spread of misinformation which is to some degree harmful, but when I am explicitly stating that I don't have DID, how do you then read that as me faking DID? How is my experience inherently fake just because it isn't corresponding with the clinical experience of DID? Why is having the clinical disorder DID the only way my experience could be valid and real? Why is anything besides the clinical diagnosis DID fake in your eyes? Please spell that part out for me

Fucking. Agree. 100%. Also its worse when the people who were nit picking my oc were idk “well known” in the community on DeviantArt [unsure how it is on other platforms but I can care less.]

I got so nit picked on my FMA OC so many times its ridiculous. Plus the fact they kept shoving reality scientific shit into a fantasy world of FMA. Like, dude I get it alchemy exist but shoving reality bullshit into the fantasy world is down right just an excuse to put someone down because “its not realistic enough” or whatever.

I had someone nit pick a FMA OC named Keilay [who I am still working on cause shes part of my ocs ancestory or at least apart of her moms side of the familys culture ancestor ruler.] and they just went “weh thats not even fricken possible” and try to make excuses and I just stare “humunculi shouldnt even exist period let alone chimeras if you wanna shove reality in my face of “ThIs CaNt HaPpEn”. Because part of my FMA Story [which im working on both 2003 version and brotherhood] theres going to be a scene where they end up running into the phantom of her and Ed being skeptic and my oc points out about other things that shouldnt even be possible to exist [chimeras or at least humunculi being a huge one]

Another OC they nit picked on was my oc Katherine and one of the people went “why she have violet eye color is she a humunculous wtf? if not then she shouldnt really be having that”. something along the lines. jokes on them I researched eye colors and Lilac is a ACTUAL eye color and I wanted to give this OC a unique rare eye color. I found it so stupid for the nit picking.

It got worse when someone decided to pull the “racist” card by calling me racist when I was thinking of changing things a bit slightly on another FMA OC of mine - Thanos. I changed his name from Nike to Thanos, I figured he be half xingese and ishvallen and yet i got called racist for it which- confused the shit out of me. like if something i said came off as such uh yeah please point it out???? but all i said was Im thinking of making him xingese and ishvallen cause I think it make sense for him cause I want to keep the fact he has red eyes so he got that genetic from his parents.

honestly the whole nit pick and getting on my ass was stupid. I even had someone being stupidly bitchy at me on my super old works. like as if its “brand new art” when its not. the date was even ON THE FRICKEN DA PAGE OF THE DEVIANTATION OF COURSE ITS OLD.

I just figured these people dont like new ocs or dont like particular ocs even if its a self insert kind and theyre very hostile about it. at least to the artists who came at me which out of all the fandoms , this one came at me for no reason over time. I dont give a shit if they are jealous or want to be an ass to me for no reason cause god forbid i paired a oc with edward elric. I never went at anyone for their ocs being paired with ed and anyone else thats my favorite characters, because it does make me happy my fav characters are getting some love at least. I think everyone should not be so judgemental and hostile to anyone who makes FMA OCs especially when they pair their ocs with any of the canon characters. everyones allowed to have fun. so long as no one is gatekeeping and going “YOU CANT PAIR YOUR OC WITH THIS CHARACTER THEIR MINE IM MARRIED TO THEM YOU ARE MAKING THEM CHEAT” kind of deal.

also anyone who tries pulling the “realism” bullshit into FMA really need to get their heads out of their butts and understand this is still a fantasy world. theres alot of things to EXPLORE. alot of things left UNKNOWN as long as you understand how the fma world works and get an idea from reading the manga even the shows [2003 and/or brotherhood] you can get very creative. i think we all should help everyone out and know your allowed to have fun with your oc and dont let people pull you down.

I almost thought about quitting fma entirely but no i love my fma pairings, i can care absolute less on what anyone thinks about my pairing. Ive paired them for years and I have ideas and plans.

I dont mind getting suggestions or maybe some ideas for story wise or ocs. I even so were all allowed to have fun. just have fun! we should all unite and just have fun together instead of putting people down. nit picking doesnt help. de-constructive critiscm never helps. making fun and putting people down on old works to make them feel like shit NEVER helps.

we should help eachother up not put people down. let people have fun with their fma ocs damn it! >:U

i've re-written my response to this so many times because you've really unlocked the entire song for me, actually anon.

As a girl at home gatekeeper, if I'm being honest with y'all the overall message of the song always rang just a little hollow to me and it's because of that damn "yeah i might go with it" line and you know what, if you read the song through a very specific autistic lens, it kind of... makes the song that much more complex and interesting and amazing???????

If I'm keeping it truly honest with y'all, I have never understood why y'all spend time and energy getting mad at side-pieces. Like, honest to god, it's not my responsibility to make sure your man respects you. IDK if it's because the autism just impairs me getting it or what, but if my man cheated on me, i would not give 2 shits about who he cheated with. In fact, it'd be better if I didn't know tbh, because the hurt that i'd feel has nothing to do with her. It's him who lied to me, who broke our promise. I've never understood this energy y'all waste browbeating single women for having sex with men who want to have sex with them.

So, if you apply this logic to girl at home... you get a real fun song tbh. Especially because the first verse can be interpreted as this internal struggle between doing what you personally want vs what society has deemed acceptable for a woman. Like, okay, we START with "I don't even know her"which is the first line on its own and then the second line starts with "BUT I feel a responsibility to do what's upstanding and right," this kind of encapsulates that feeling of "you're really hot but you're in a relationship and it would be WRONG but GOD you're hot" and then we get "it's kinda like a code, yeah" and this is such luke-warm language to me. it kind of feels like she's not sure about what she wants to do (i use kind of whenever i'm on shaky ground about something, exhibit a)? She's almost reassuring herself "it's like a code, YEAH" and that yeah to me, just could be read in that reaffirming of social norms way tbh and then we get this line

"and you've been getting closer and closer, and crossing so many lines" idk this could be read as unwanted but it's kind of more fun to read it as like "all we want is danger" kinda vibes, ya feel? Like, why is he getting closer and closer? Are you letting him, seeing how many lines you can cross before we get to "immoral" territory? And I think all of these lines together, could work to reinforce that "responsibility" that she feels. Like, as an undiagnosed autistic woman, the only thing I felt I had to "offer" was my intelligence and so this calling herself stupid just feels like what you'd do as an autistic woman who is in this situation tbh. AND THEN we get the most telling line, where she kind of implies that if she believed she would be his "exception," her answer might be different. It just adds to the moral grayness of the song. and then after she sees him turn off his phone, that's when she decides to say "don't look at me, you got a girl at home." which honestly, same, queen. See how far that man will go before you teach his ass a lesson.

Also, she says "you're the kind of man who makes me sad" and that's kind of interesting because strange men cheating on their women would make you angry, if anything, not sad. Sad implies hurt, like idk if someone can make you sad, they hold a lot of power. I think it's interesting that she uses sad instead of mad- because if she was really rejecting him out of duty and "what's right" wouldn't she be mad? IDK i'm not saying this is for sure how she meant the song at all, I just like this lense a lot because it makes the song way deeper than it sounds for sure.

8. Do you enjoy communicating with your parts? Would you like to share about an interaction you’ve recently had?

I don't necessarily think that communicating with my alters is all that fun or enjoyable. Its really hard to differentiate alters speaking from intrusive thoughts, as well as brain fog. So, if it happens, its rather inconsistent/rare. Some of us have an easier time communicating, but it takes effort. I don't really remember this, its vague and I can't exactly remember what we said. But, so,, I have this visual in my head that me and Raven was in this blue-dark room, where it was raining. I held him in my arms as we cried. We shared a conversation that really meant something. He is a persecutor and holds a lot of violent trauma, so this was our way of talking and opening up. He is an introject of someone close to me, mixed with experiences we had of people like the person he's a factive of. Our conversation meant a lot. And, we don't have much in the way of words, and more just sharing visuals and memories. I dont really think in words, but describing things I see in my head. So, if alters do need to speak, it definitely has to be in a private space, cause its hard to hear.

11. Is there any sort of internal organization or structure for your parts? How set-in-place is it?

There is. There are many alters that have roles or know things, and there are many different sections of the innerworld that just align to that part or that role. Like, its these twinges that I feel, that its like "This is what is right and this is what is wrong". I barely go into the innerworld, but there is a whole wealth of things in the innerworld and different realms within it. In the overworld, there is the castle, abandoned town and twisted tree forest. But there's another forest behind the castle, that connects to the mansion and to the shore. There is a pier in the abandoned town. There is realms only connected to by certain alters. So there is like, gatekeepers have information and are somewhat like, the most unhuman, like immortals or deities or something. They are the most cryptic. And then like theres people in deep dark parts in the innerworld, which have information that I am not allowed to know. And then like, Im like experiencing negative lil twinges thinkin about that. It makes me angry somehow. There is a lot of implied structure and organization, like its making me switch just thinking about it. lmaooo im dissociating hghhghfhgh ok i think thats enough ig,,, it just makes me feel things. man. Im so fucked up man

22. Do you have any parts that feel almost opposite to you?

Yeah so like. Tsuki, Yuki and Shiro are triplets. Yuki and Tsuki are often on different sides of emotions, the biggest conflicting thoughts come from them. Rai is split off from Yuki and meant to be a mirror from her, they both have the same connections to innerworld stuff. Aiko is also on a different side of emotion from Yuki, often choosing revenge and anger. Jeremy and Damien are twins, so they're often on opposing viewpoints. Jeremy is a persecutor and Damien is a protector, you can see how that goes, they fight a lot. Emiline/Gwendolyn are opposing alters in the same innerworld body. Like, theyre twins but they share a single body, Emiline is pink and feisty, Gwendolyn is worried and blue. Theyre kind of like that creepy ghost child/ren from some horror movie or game. Persecutor little too. Ashley is also a sort of "male version" of the host, even though there's like 4+ male "versions", so he's opposite in that regard. Etc etc., there's a lot of alters who are "opposites" or "mirrored" or twins. a lot of pairs or trios. (like the hosts are a trio)

Nobody wants to see a repeat of the exact same story ALL the time. Personally i find it weird and annoying and its posting etiquette which is a actual thing, look it up. If someone is not showing your face in a post, doesn’t matter if you are there, why would you go and post the exact same thing not just something similar? Or post to let it known that you were there. Yes they should say something but shes not a child straight into the social media womb, must her hand be held through everything?

They went out to dinner with Kats dad and he posted the food as did Sam. Kat didnt even post about it yet she goes and posts mention not only that shes there but where they were. He posts the dogs and throughout it you keep hearing her trying to talk to make her presence known (someones filming they shouldnt have to tell you to pipe down), then goes and posts the exact same thing. Not just the dogs playing, not Colby playing with ‘em but her doing the same thing. It reminds me of an annoying younger siblings that must do everything the older one does. With his room, come now… she couldnt have started recording once at the window? Its not her room and she just HAD TO get an image of her walking to the window and showing both windows to showcase she was in his room. She has been gatekeeping photos of just them two from edc and hmmm i wonder why? Look at her twitter, you really think he didnt say something? She promised Colby photos not core4. On your question about posting the same thing.Ive seen this issue with literal people before, shoot from different angles but not the same angle same image. Also wait to post dont do it back to back especially if the audience is the same. Plus just because you’re in the same environment doesn’t mean you HAVE TO post the same thing to show you are there. If your presence or someone elses is being kept a wrap then the proper thing to do is not post it but she does not miss a chance this one. He can post a pic of his white claw and you can almost on cue expect her to post the exact same thing right after. Personally not just from a social posting stance, but i’d be annoyed as hell.

i'm so sorry, but… posting etiquette? that's not an actual thing. it's the internet for god's sakes. also, there are no rules to when you want to post and whether or not your friends just posted the same thing. that's all made up.

she's literally only done this a couple times max, i don't see the issue. it's not like she's trying to copy their exact story, and then pass it off as hers. she's in the same place as them, possibly next to them, and films the same thing. why is that a problem? even if her audience is the same as theirs, do you think a majority care?

and again, if it was an issue to snc or kat, then they would handle it. clearly they either don't notice (probably bc they don't care) or… they don't care.

and the post of colby playing with the dogs, that she later posted something quasi similar, isn't that strange to me. they're at a party at a friend's house. they were both playing with the dogs, or at the very least seated next to each other. why would she have to be quiet at a party, when there was music and other ppl talking in the background?

and her in his room, again, i don't think it's all that deep. she might have just wanted to post the front like he did. in this instance, sure, she did copy him. but again, i don't think it's that big of a deal.

the edc thing i never saw but i can see it happening. i remember her saying she had pics from edc she never posted, and she still hasn't. maybe he told her to not post the extra pics, maybe she forgot and so she deleted the reply, maybe she deleted the reply bc the pics weren't good enough to post. idk.

if she is outright telling fans where she is, more so than just saying "oh we're in this town" but giving out info on the place they're staying at or investigating, that's a bit weird. someone should tell her to chill on that. snc have said to us on xplrclub vaguely where they're gonna be, but again, if she's going above and beyond just tagging the town they're in, then someone should tell her to stop.

personally, besides the last thing, i don't see this as an issue. if she wanted to post verbatim the same thing as snc and kat for the next 100 years, then she can do that. bc unless snc and kat tell her to chill, it's not an issue to them. they see her stories, they follow her. and if she was told to chill and keeps crossing a boundary, again, it's on them to either cut her out or lay down the law harder.

So, I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm a big fan of Amanda, but, you know, my two cents: I think its fine if her personality kind of grates at you a bit or you don't think her sense of humor meshes with yours. I'm sorry you were getting death threats, that shouldn't happen. You're right in the sense that you're allowed to feel that way and people getting mad at you for that doesn't do much.

That said I think if you're not looking to try to explain yourself/justify your distaste, you'd probably benefit from more explicitly tagging and curating the audience for your commentary. Like I dont think posting this in the "amanda lehan canto" tag on tumblr will get you the circle of people you want it to get to. I would strongly recommend, at least per tumblr culture, tagging it something like "anti amanda lehan canto" or something else, or at least taking her tag out. I dont know about the equivalent tagging culture on reddit. But in general if you go into a space with a lot of neutral to positive sentiment and drop a VERY strongly negative opinion, its jarring and can be off putting even if people might not disagree with specifics of the opinion. "smosh discourse" or "smosh negativity" might serve you better? idk.

(Also on a more general note, something that's helped me when I was frustrated with an online personality, beyind just disengaging, was just. Actively trying not to read their behaviours as intentional or malicious. When i was irritated by someone, looking at their behaviours (when not avoiding then entirely) through the lens of "ugh look at them doing x or y because of z" would always actively make me more angry or frustrated, be almost purely speculative, and seep into things that were probably actually innocuous, and with no benefit. Going "they're doing x" but actively avoiding speculating that it was for an intentional reason helped a ton with bringing "they're doing x and it fills me with rage" down to "they're doing x which is not to my taste but oh well". Like. You're allowed to be irritated and not mesh well with some online personalities you see, but I'd REALLY advise against assigning intention/malice towards these things that frustrate you.)

(I guess I could elaborate on why i think the pop culture thing is occasionally played up for the bit but is largely genuine- people exist online in DRASTICALLY different ways- but i dont know how much that actually matters to you, lol.)

On your first point, yeah I forgot the “anti” part of the tag. I’ll fix it, though it will still show up in her take since her name is in it.

And Reddit doesn’t have tags so I can’t really curate anything there, unfortunately.

And when I do see her in a video, I do try to not see malice in her actions, and I usually don’t, but it’s still too much for me. Like just her presence annoys me. I can’t help it, but even her just standing around bothers me. Like yeah I get that everyone else finds Sarah Christ to be the pinnacle of comedy, but I don’t get the jokes so I don’t find her funny. I get that she’s supposed to be funny, but I don’t see it. I don’t mind that others enjoy it, though. I mind that they’re gatekeeping feelings.

endings take forever sometimes.

i used to think of ending as one event. it happens and then its over. the end of a movie, the last minute before credits roll. the end of a relationship, the goodbye before never seeing each other again. the end of a life, the last breath before organs fail.

what i've learned recently is that endings creep up a long, long time before they make their move.

i've experienced several recently, what with me moving away from everything i've built here in the past 19 years. it seems to be a theme in my life right now.

i had my last session with Olivia, my favorite person, my therapist, yesterday. i needed some time to process it (and also sleep for like 11 hours) before i could journal about it. i still havent cried, but i want to so, so badly.

i think part of the issue is that i have already cried about it, i grieved it before it even happened. i felt it coming months before it did. and i cried believing everything was over. and i had to sit and wait for it to finally end, knowing that it was happening, and it was torturous.

i regret not preparing for the session more, though. there's so many things i wish i could've told her. sentiments like "you're so fucking good at your job and i want you to know that" and "you were the best thing that happened to me when i was sitting with the worst" and "i love you".

i had so many questions i wish i could've had time to ask her, about how she sees me, how she thinks i improved, what she hopes i work on in the future, whether or not she enjoyed working with me, whether or not she'll miss me.

and most of all i wanted to apologize. i just feel so much guilt and i have to carry it with me without getting to resolve it now. i did hurt her, i mean, i have BPD and i didn't hold anything back. i would manipulate situations to get desired outcomes, i would play games with her, say things so she would react how i wanted her to.

sure, its her job as my therapist to take it and not take it personally and turn it into a way to help me, but still, we had a relationship— a professional one albeit— but shit can still hurt. she has feelings.

she said i could email her once in a while, if something big happens in my life that i want to celebrate with her. so, at least she won't be completely dead to me.

i want to finish the therapy fic i was writing based on her so i can send it to her.

on another note, i also attended IFS therapy yesterday too, which is why i was so exhausted. it was my first time trying to communicate with my parts, and it was a really new experience. i found it immensely interesting though!

i predict its going to be difficult though. i as my self, dont trust this therapist fully yet so i know that there's going to be a lot of resistance from protectors. what am i saying? there already has been.

i discovered 3 parts today, i dont think im ready to talk about all of them here but one of them is a dissociating part that is essentially gatekeeping me from accessing anything, and refuses to step away once it shows up or explain its reasoning in any way.

its gonna be really challenging to work with it, since its entire job is to stop me from talking to other parts, and also since it wont talk to me, and also since ive spent all of my time pushing it away/exiling it (especially in therapy) because i fucking hate dissociating.

i hate endings but im going to have to end this now anyway. at least you've been prepared at least 5 paragraphs since. im still deciding.
