ok so we got bentley playing “you’re my best friend” in season 1 as crowley drives to the bookshop to go get aziraphale
we got bentley playing “good old fashioned lover boy” in season 2 as crowley drives to the bookshop to help aziraphale
the logical next step is that we get bentley playing “love of my life” as crowley drives to the bookshop to be with aziraphale
right?

GOOD OMENS SPOILERS KIND OF
Also I CANNOT BELIEVE they didn't play love of my life right at the end it makes perfect sense too. Like, You've broken my heart, and now you leave me
Love of my life, can't you see?
Bring it back, bring it back, don't take it away from me
Because you don't know what it means to me
Especially from crowley ls pov It's TOO GOOD not to play. Or even Who Wants to Live Forever would have been great too. Both of then would have been just as heartbreaking.

We Could've Been Us
It was all wrong. He hadn't meant for things to go how they had gone. Crowley supposed- wanted them to be done with the entire mess. With Beezelbub and Gabriel, with Angels and Demons, with that fucking ass- the Metatron. He wanted to say that thing he'd been wanting to say, for Heaven knows how long. He'd wanted the Angel to smile- beam- at him, and for he and Aziraphale to have a fabulous kiss, followed by a fabulous breakfast at the Ritz... But things rarely went the way the demon wanted them to.
Here it is on Ao3.
Tried to write some fluff istg- could only produce angst after that finale.

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.
Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

Immortal Decadent After the Ball
If you can't tell, this is based on a painting by Ramon Casas called Decadent young woman. After the dance. (More about it at the end)
Also version with out glasses:
Click to see them good details
The original painting:
"Decadent young woman. After the dance", 1899 by Ramon Casas
I was looking through my folder of paintings, thinking if one of them could be turned into fanart. I found this one and thought it would fit Crowley very well. Well, turns out the name makes it even more fitting! The Incident in Good Omens That Broke All of Our Hearts, happened after a dance/ball (the painting is also known as "After the Ball"), which is just incredibly serendipitous.
Also of course everything about the pose, the dark clothes and the red hair just screamed Crowley to me.

good omens the book, 1990: see, queen is so ubiquitous in london these days that if you leave a tape in a car for too long, it'll inevitably morph into a best of queen tape. which is why their megahits are playing in crowley's bentley all the time! isn't that a funny and topical joke?
good omens the show, 2019-2023: yeah crowley's car has a hands-free call system and also only plays cassette tapes. yeah it's whatever don't think about it. what's an incredibly earnest and passionate queen love song we can play during this scene where crowley tries urgently to reach aziraphale
