which i’m gonna note this: MAG 200 is also called Last Words. There’s probably nothing to that but i like it

but anyway, Zolf and Wilde in those episodes keep getting to me, Wilde, in all his bastard glory, i think genuinely does just want an *actual* proper relationship that isn’t professional, and as for Zolf, well. id go as far to say a rivals/enemies -> friends/ life partners pipeline

But they’re overdone, we all know zolf and wilde, what i’m here to talk about is HOWARD FUCKING CARTER! He genuinely just makes me so upset sometimes, especially in that episode, from what i can remember, it’s pretty clear that he was shut down as a kid, told to shut up when he’s talking ‘too much’ and even (i think) tells Azu to be quiet because he didn’t want her to be in trouble on his behalf????? he devastates me truly i’m in love with him and i think he deserves all the hugs in the world!!

and just. Cel. I don’t have enough words to describe how I feel about them, first off, one of the first just. casual *canonically* queer characters i’ve properly come across in media, not to mention i’m actually in love with lydia nicholas, Sasha was my whole life before she went </3

thinking about relationships of marauder parents...

hope + lyall

adventuring couple turned old couple. hope visiting a friend in wales, coming from new orleans. and lyall from wales but travels a lot for work. when they meet, hope helps him with a lot of cases, the two going on adventures around the world with each other until hope becomes pregnant and they move to a little cottage in wales. once remus gets bitten, they stop adventuring and travelling all together. they're a very thrill-seeking couple, and once that was gone + with the added lyall guilt over remus + neither knowing how to deal with it, they end up arguing a lot.

fleamont + euphemia

friends and each other's crushes since the first year of hogwarts. fleamont didn't get on super well with his roommates, and found friends in Euphemia and her friend group (minerva, poppy, rolanda, and pomona). he was literally james from derry girls basically. euphemia is bisexual, and was with minerva for quite a few years so they didn't actually get together till after school finished. the only wealthy nice people to exist ever /j. makes people believe in love from how swet they are to each other.

lydia + cora

met each other at a lesbian bar. and went on a lot of dates first before cora met peter for the first time (i mean he was at boarding school when they met soo). lydia and peter are very much the 'friends parent and child bond', they joke around a lot, lydia doesn't really tell him off and stuff. lydia and cora do a lot of creative and spiritual things together, so in the holidays peter joins them sometimes. had a wedding ceremony in the late 70s, although obviously not a legal wedding, and peter was the best man/flower girl.

walburga + orion

knew each other since they were born. i mean,, they are cousins. their parents had already decided they would get married when they were older, so the two knew since they were about 4/5 and got engaged at 16. they never particularly liked each other, orion was very quiet and kept to himself whilst walburga liked causing trouble and going out. walburga almost backed out of the marriage but went ahead with it, and the two settled in their relationship by mostly ignoring each other, arguing, and drinking.
