Like I always do, I’m still thinking about other planets covered in water containing so many large and frightening looking aquatic creatures that by human definitions are alien marine dinosaurs, both deep sea and deep space creatures
And because I’m always thinking about Humans and Vulcans, I’m currently thinking about a Human who’s a marine biologist who specifically goes to other planets to check out creatures like that but they’re on medical leave because of what happened on the last planet they were on
And I’m imagining them happily explaining their job and the Incident™️ to a Vulcan they met on public transportation while the Vulcan uses every training technique they’ve ever learned to not outwardly show how horrified they are

This is a specimen from the Carolina Biological Supply Company; a slice of brain encased in resin. The individual this particular brain belonged to likely passed away due to a stroke.

If you actually put together a comprehensive compendium of Nikodemus' medical history, all manner of death, illness, decay, etc, you would have a goldmine of data on forensic anthropology, virusology, traumatology, genetics, cytology, psychiatry and ancient curses. Walking body farm of a man. Survivor of the silliest deaths imaginable. Medical abomination. Doctors hate him for this one trick he used to avoid mortality. Doctors are hunting him as we speak. The subject has breached security. Code Red.

I never dug into what my warframe OCs left behind with their ruined human lives Until Now and. oh boy
At some point there is a multi-step family trip heist to locate and retrieve (steal) whatever is still left kicking around in some orokin derelict or other of Lanius' old research on the medical application of infestation strains bc They Wanna Continue Working On That Shit. Or Other Shit. They never stopped being a scientist. Give them back their data
Alden on the other hand does not wish to touch his old life At All. He gave his life to protect his group of rebels, and maybe to an extent it'd be nice to know that it wasn't all for nothing, but...does it really matter? It has been millenia since then. It doesn't matter if he bought them a day or a year or a decade by doing what he did, they're all long dead and dust and forgotten anyway. He'd rather not dig up details and remember more and find more regrets
Higgins idk if i'll lean into anything with yet but i Did realise that if any records of his human life remained at all then they're likely to be on deimos, so the potential for stuff Is There
