Heya, I really really hope this doesn't come off as particularly rude, but I was wondering, why would bisexual women be considered lesbians sometimes and I think you also brought up transgender men and genderqueer ppl? For bisexual women, I just am kinda confused, they can be in lesbian relationships and lesbian spaces, but just describing them as lesbians seems kinda confusing because lesbian denotes specifically sapphic attraction at least from where I've always heard it, so wouldn't it be kinda confusing. And for the genderqueer folks or trans folks, wouldn't that just bring their genders closer to feminine and at least from what I've heard from some pple I know, they don't like non binary being seen as more womanly (I've heard it being described as woman-lite before annoying) and instead seen as a more inbetween which it sometimes isn't, because of bigotry and other things since nbs can be both fem or masc or androgynous, but wouldn't non woman lesbians kinda push it to be seen as kinda more fem or that person as more fem? I don't know and frankly I'm just kinda confused. I'm really really sorry that this probably comes off as super rude and I hope you forgive me. I frankly just want to learn a little more and have been reading up but wanted to know what you thought. And I just realized how long this was, so so sorry
hello anon! these days, i usually don’t answer asks like these because i’ve already done so several times, but you seem very well-meaning and confused, so i’ll do my best to help. first of all, please check my faq for resources and links about mspec labels and bi lesbians.
second of all—generally—here is my advice for when you encounter a queer label that confuses you:
1) literally just ignore it until you...
2) meet someone in your life who uses that label, at which point you might (respectfully) ask them what using that label means to them specifically, and why it’s important. i’ve done this in real life. the script is something like,
“it’s really cool to get to talk to someone in real life about this stuff—if i may ask, what does identifying as [insert label] mean to you, personally?”
you might also say,
“i’ve never met someone who identifies with [their label] before. would you mind giving me some pointers on the important things to keep in mind in order to respect your identity/make sure you feel respected by me?”
i’ve also never asked anyone to correct me if i mess up and say something rude, but i’m working on the confidence and charisma to be able to say that, because i owe that to others.
all of that said, i wanted to respond to some of your specific questions, and clarify a couple of things below the cut. to clarify:
1. “describing [bisexual women] as lesbians seems kinda confusing because lesbian denotes specifically sapphic attraction”. to be clear i am not the one describing bisexual women as lesbians, in this hypothetical situation. when i post about bi-lesbians, i am posting in support of people who—for whatever reason—chose that label for themselves. what i am not doing: advocating to redefine the classically understood definition of lesbian for the entire populous.
2. “wouldn’t it be kinda confusing”? yes! i understand it can be confusing, and i commend you for expressing your confusion instead of reacting in disgust or anger. there are so many things in the queer community that are confusing, even to me, and you don’t need to feel guilty for asking questions as long as you come from a place of genuine curiosity. being confused isn’t bad, and defining yourself in a way that confuses others is, likewise, no transgression.
3. “for the genderqueer folks or trans folks, wouldn’t [identifying as a lesbian] just bring their genders closer to feminine […] wouldn’t non woman lesbians […] be seen as kinda more fem”? the answer is: sort of. it depends entirely on how and why the person using this label came to these words. you wrote, “i’ve heard from some pple i know, they don’t like non binary being seen as more womanly”, and i have definitely also heard that! so, for people who feel that way, they probably wouldn’t want a label that evokes womanhood and/or aligns them with femininity assigned to them. but every person is different—so for some nonbinary people, they absolutely do not want to be seen as “woman-lite”, whereas for other nonbinary people, they might want to be seen closer to femme than masc, while still nonbinary. this goes back to what i said at the beginning: best practice is to ask the people in your life how they want you to respect them.
closing thoughts: i hope this clarified some things, but i understand that the topic may still be confusing—feel free to message me if you want a non-judgmental queer to talk things through with. i promise i’ll take you in good faith <3

- always remember to start off your ask with some variation of "npd culture is..." ("npd system culture is..." "npd + bpd culture is..." ect ect).
- people who don't have npd but do have npd traits are welcome to send in submissions.
- this blog is run by one mod and isn't looking for others.
- i open this blog to be a place where egotypicals can learn about the experiences of pwnpd, but urge them to remember this blog will be mostly unfiltered and show the more unpleasant side of mental illness and trauma. if you cannot respect or handle that, leave.
- if you'd like to claim a sign off, refer to this post.
- the queue can be long, it may take some time to get to your submission. please be patient with me. i also reserve the right to not post certain things for whatever reason.
- there's also a polish version of this blog: @bycie-narcyzem-to. i don't run that blog. it's been inactive for some time as well.
byf
-this blog doesn't have a set dni anymore (other than basic criteria, anti-pd, and [pd] abuse believers), but i will block freely.
- i do not want to hear about your abusive relatives with npd, even if you put "but i don't think all pwnpd are abusive!" after it.
- please don't ask me for advice. i'm fine with people asking questions about npd itself, but i may not always answer. keep in mind i'm not a professional, i'm not the end all of information on npd, and it is entirely possible for me to accidentally spread misinformation. if you sent a question that never got answered it's likely i just didn't feel equipped to answer it myself.
-i don't relate to, agree with, or condone the actions of every single submission i post.

I am full fucking steam ahead with the arranged marriage fic this week and having a blast. It's an absolute anachronism stew of, like: fantasy geography! but also a default assumption of sexuality in this world being bi/pan/mspec rather than straight! but also arranged marriages! but also internet!—world-building is my nemesis so we are one hundred percent just rolling with it, okay? Okay.
“Good afternoon, Queen Mary,” he says, rehearsed and careful. There’s a time and a place for his usual brand of irreverence, and even Alex knows this isn’t it. “Your kingdom has offered me such a warm welcome.” “Yes, they have.” Mary doesn’t exactly seem thrilled about that, which is rude. Alex is a fucking catch, actually. “It would appear that my people are excited for this wedding to go ahead. But are you? Does the prospect of finally being married to my grandson please you?” And how the fuck is Alex meant to answer such a direct question without kicking off a whole international incident? He can’t tell the truth, but neither can he bring himself to say what he knows she wants to hear. After a long, terrifying pause in which Alex is sure the entirety of both their families are staring at him, waiting for a response, he finally manages: “Our betrothal has been overlong, Your Majesty. I will be pleased to make Windsor my new home.” Mary purses her lips. “Indeed,” is all she says in reply, a clear dismissal and a sign for the receiving line to keep moving.

If you support the idea of transfem separatism, please never interact with me, a transfem.
My kind of transfem identity is going to be cut out of those groups due to my AGAB. It's transfem in the nonbinary and deconstructed way. You are only supporting a very specific (Often white, perisex, abled, able to pass, out of the closet, and many other factors) groups of transfems, not all of us. You don't support multigender, transfemasc/transmascfem, intersex, altersex, mspec queers, nonbinary, people who have a separate body transition than their gender, butch transfems, and anyone who is not the same kind of transfem that is idealized by the queer community. What do you do about transfems who cannot transition with HRT or surgery for medical reasons or due to disability? Do you see them as "basically men" and do some bioessentialism, or do you hold space for percieved or real masculinity in your spaces?
I'm not a transfem who can be in those spaces because of how anything else is seen as "basically male" or "woman+" and the inherent bigotry of that. The absolute rancid radfem rhetoric about bi lesbians (They are perfectly welcome to my blog because the labels don't hurt anyone) that has been in the transmisogyny discussion is vile. Just because you are queer of any variety, that does not give you a pass to vomit up the rhetoric of our oppressors and the same people who don't want us to exist at the mere moment you see it as if being allowed to not have bigotry directed at you is a limited resource. It's not limited and never should be because no one deserves oppression, because making oppression "deserved" is and always will be abuser/bully rhetoric.

EDIT:: title of this poll should say "which of these do you think is the correct definition of that term?"
- please take this in good faith. i don't want anyone spamming the tags with anti-mspec lesbian stuff, i'm just trying to see what the community definition of this label is.
- bi lesbians reading this, there's another poll here you can also vote on!
- no, there's no "multiple/all of the above" option. if you're torn between two, pick the one you think fits Best/is the most accurate definition of bi lesbian
- yes, all of these are definitions of bi lesbian i have actually seen people using
- nope, not a bi lesbian myself, just curious about how people are using this label!
you know the drill, rb for sample size

Ride The Cyclone Open Roleplay
Doing a Ride The Cyclone roleplay.
Jane Doe: Taken by me
Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg: Taken by @democracyrockzz
Noel Gruber: Taken
Constance Blackwood: @jane-does-head @thenicestgirlintown
Mischa Bachinski: Taken by @max--jagerman
Ricky Potts: Taken by @krowsselfindulgy (@spacingbachelorette)
This will be the main trigger warning for the beginning of every scene:
Tw: death, unreality, body horror, implied gore, yelling, trauma, loss of identity, horny teens being horny teens
This will also be in the tags.
Any other trigger warnings should be added to reblogs as well as tags.
The concept is basically if Karnak died before ressurecting anyone. So it's just them doing silly shenanigans as ghosts, singing songs we think they would sing, and probably a bit of angst. It will mainly act as a follow up to the 2016 bootleg version, with yannick's edits of course. (If you headcanon a different performance of your song for your character that's fine.)
We will also create character sheets consisting of name, gender, pronouns, age, sexuality, sign, birthday, favorite ride, appearance, personality, backstory, and "the most _ in town." (Mine is the only one without a sign, birthday, and favorite ride. If you forget, don't worry, I can edit it in.)
It's how you imagine the characters, with a mix of headcanons and canon.
The uniforms are the same as the 2016 ones but without the plaid.
How they wear their uniform and how they accessorize is up to you.
You can interpret the characters however you'd like, but make sure to stay faithful to their base character traits. (Things like Noel being gay and Misha being Ukrainian. Also Ricky using MOBILITY AIDS THANK YOU.)
Be as descriptive as possible. (See mine and my friends character sheets for examples!)
Also me and friends are high school students, so please only other high school students!
No NSFW roleplay. Talking about sex is fine, but no actual sex scenes! I'd prefer SFW blogs too.
Characters having crushes on other characters is allowed, but it might not be reciprocated. (Me and @democracyrockzz are pretty much planning to do perfectdolls.)
Every thread will be a scene. When you want to start a new scene, make a new thread. Give a synopsis of what the scene will be about, as well as the location in the fair.
Example:
New Scene
Synopsis: The choir plays a board game.
@democracyrockz reblogged
Ocean: Guys look what I found!
(Ocean emerges with a board game)
Noel's roleplayer reblogged
Noel: Oh god, no.
It will be a public thread so people who aren't in the roleplay can still enjoy it.
No racist, sexist, ableist, saneist, colorist, binarist, pigmentist, homophobic, transphobic, biphobic, panphobic, acephobic, enbyphobic, queerphobic, xenophobic, islamophobic, fatphobic, misogynistic, transmisogynistic, body shaming, "pro-life", transid, "MAPS", pro contact para, TERF, anti semitic, anti neopronouns, anti xenogenders, anti mspec, anti BLM, anti feminist, or incel blogs.
Toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Hate comments will be deleted.
To claim your character, simply comment who you want to play or DM me.
Afterwords, write your character sheet. Take your time, the person playing Noel won't be ready for a little while so don't be rushed. (I'm getting ahead of time.) Make sure to tag me too.
Also let me know what to add to the main tw. If you plan on having your character bring a sensitive topic up, I need to add it.
I will then put your character sheet in the pinned post of my side blog @mystery-contestant. Make sure to follow it!
If you want to make changes to your already posted character sheet, edit the original post and send me a message letting me know!
You will know the roleplay has started as I will announce it on my side blog. I will be starting off the first "scene."
Also if there's something you think should be a main tw let me know!
We will be starting this summer!
Jane's character sheet!
Ocean's Character sheet!
Ricky's Character sheet!
Constance's Character sheet!
Breakdown of edits!

FAQ to link in our pinned:
. . .
why does your bio say "call me al" when your name is tex?
we- the system- don't have a "system name" in the same way most systems do. instead of calling ourselves the cherry cola system or something of the sort, we stick with simply one name, the name we use irl. that name is al. i, the host, use tex. you can refer to me as tex if you're confident it's me posting. otherwise, please stick with al.
. . .
are you christian?
this one is complicated. i, tex, believe in Our Father (the christian god), and am lutheran. other people in the system have very different opinions- hills is an autothiest, helen is a pagan, and most of the others are atheist or agnostic.
. . .
why do you post like that?
i've gotten this in reference to a few different things ive done, so i'll try to explain it concisely. i have been a big blogger for most of my internet career, up until remaking my blog around a year ago, and, as a result, i tend to blog as if i expect all my posts to get big, each one with intentional phrasing and wordplay. at the same time ive been trying to allow myself to get silly with it and talk about things that interest me, not just things that will interest my audience. if that makes sense.
. . .
how many people are in your system?
around 50. that number fluctuates and changes. i don't announce every new arrival, and not everyone fronts.
. . .
what's your stance on [internet discourse]?
who give a shit. if it doesn't actually physically hurt anyone, it doesn't fucking matter to me. this goes for syscource, pronoun discourse, mspec discourse, slur discourse, most fandom discourse, etc.
. . .
can you tag [x]?
we can try. there is no guarantee we will all consistently remember to tag it though.
. . .
why don't you like cat pictures?
i have a mild phobia of cats. it's not bad enough that i can't handle living with them but i really don't want to see them when im already in a bad mood.
. . .
how do you pronounce hx and hxm?
same as he/him. it's a purely aesthetic change, not a verbal one.

I wanted to make a veldian flag (or whatever term you want to use for it, I like veldian because it sounds good) to match my lesbian flag.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image ID 1: A 7 striped flag. Colors, in order, are: purple; light indigo; sky blue; turquoise; light green; pale lime-yellow. End ID.]
[Image ID 2: The same flag, with words over each stripe corresponding to their meaning. Purple is femininity and those tied to it. Light indigo is queer love of men. Sky blue is masculinity. Turquoise is gay history and diversity. Light green is gender nonconformity. Pale lime-yellow is nonbinary gays and nblm/mlnb love. End ID.]
[Image ID 3: The same flag as the first, but the bottom three colors are flipped so it starts with yellow.]
I am not a veldian so I made this in consultation with people who were. I don't wanna replace the current one, because I really like it, but I needed a matching one to my lesbian flag for a request. It does not have a name, but if any veldians like it, please submit any name ideas in the comments and I'll make a poll about what to name it.
Anyway. Stripe meanings, fully explained
1. Femininity and those tied to it: This was going to be the gnc stripe but I decided green fit that one better, and this better fit femininity. Feminine men are a very large part of the gay community, though this stripe represents more than just them! It also represents those who are trans and still feel connected to their AGAB, or those who are turigirls. It can also represent how men who like men are inherently perceived as feminine even if they aren't in any other way.
2. Queer love of men: No matter your gender, pretty much all veldians have a queer love of men. This stripe represents that love
3. Masculinity: Not all gay men are effeminate. Some of them are masculine, and masculinity in the gay community presents in many ways. Of course, masculinity doesn't only refer to presentation. It can also refer to gender alignment or connection.
4. Unity: Despite how wide and diverse the community is, and how many names it has, all of them are united as one large community and that's beautiful
5. Gay history and diversity: There is a rich history to gay men and the community of them, which deserves a place represented on the flag. The gay communities of the past and present are large and diverse, and have such a broad spectrum of people. All the ways you can be a veldian deserve to be represented because there are so many
6. Gender nonconformity: A large part of the gay community involves gender nonconformity. Even masculine veldians don't all conform to the idea of masculinity most straight people have (the image of a strong, muscle-y man.) And it's not just nonconformity for men; this stripe also represents the nonbinary gays who are feminine or masculine rather than androgynous.
7. Nonbinary gays and nblm/mlnb love: Nonbinary or elsegender people have grown to be a part of the veldian community, both in who can be veldian and who a veldian can love. While men who love men are at the center of this community, it's important to also remember the love between men and nonbinary folk.
This flag was made by an inclusionist. It stands in support of mspec veldians, gaybians/velaurians, turigirls, and others with contradictory labels. It also, of course, supports aro/ace/aroace veldians, trans veldians, and veldians of color. Anyone who identifies as a veldian, or with another name for the same label, may use this flag.

tips for fictionkins missing their mediamates?/nf
tips for kins or introjects missing their mediamates or sourcemates
pt: tips for kins or introjects missing their mediamates or sourcemates
consume your source or media when you miss them, to see them and connect with them
draw or write about your source/mediamates
consume fan content! fanfics, fanart, animations, theories/headcanons, anything that feels like them
listen to or make playlists that remind you of your source/media
some introjects or kins will do “source/media” calls where they seek out other introjects/kins from their source/media. there’s nothing inherently wrong with this, but please please remember anyone you meet *will not* be the same person as you remember! they are an individual and it’s very important to respect that, and get to know them for who they are (not who you want them to be)
keep a document or journal of memories you have of them to look back on
allow yourself to mourn. it’s not silly. it’s ok to mourn that you can’t get them back. grieving is ok, it’s healing. feeling like it’s “not enough” to mourn will only hurt you. it’s ok to miss them and feel upset about it.
collect little items that remind you of them, or of things they owned/gave to you
hope these help, we get how it feels /gen -🩸
Requests open!!!

unpinning my nice fun positivity post because I want to talk a little about this space that I've created. I think a dni is stupid because people never listen anyways, which is why I haven't had one, but I still see the value in at least telling people who this little corner is for.
also YELL AT ME ON DISCORD I'M woahits_alex.mp3 IF U ASK ME ABOUT FIC RECS FOR MY FANDOMS I'LL CRY WITH HAPPINESS
you are welcome here:
- ALL queers. trans men, trans women, nonbinary, intersex, poc queers, xenogender, "contradictory" labels like mspec gays/lesbians lesboys/sapphileans (omg it's me!!), slur reclaims, detransitioners who are not transphobic, mspec lesbians, aro/ace and all variations thereupon, unlabeled, questioning, etc. I love all of you. I love the community that we have. we are family, whether or not some of us want to be, and exclusionism is Not Funky Fresh!!
- pro Palestine!! I don't rb posts as much as I used to (I am scared of spreading misinformation) but I think I'll start doing that again! (don't forget your daily click guys)
- jewish people. I am specifically adding this one to say that because of the shitty Everything, I sincerely hope I have never spread any antisemitic rhetoric in support of Palestine, reblogs or otherwise. it is not your guys' job to educate me, but I hope it's clear that I'm operating in good faith.
- disabilities/cluster b disorders/systems/AAC users. I am not any of these things so if I say/do something out of line please tell me! but I love you guys and you're absolutely welcome here.
- proshippers (if this bothers you block and move on)
- furries. not personally one of y'all but I think you're neat and you make cool art :]
- literally, like, anyone, as long as you're not a dick
you are not welcome here:
- terfs, transphobes, exclusionists, anti-mspec, anti-lesboy, and people who think transandrophobia is "fake" or whatever. go away I don't like you (or at least be prepared to be blocked or yelled at)
- similarly to last, anyone who starts queer infighting or hates on less visible queers/strangers who don't "look" queer (I don't care if you think someone is cishet. you have no way of knowing that. let's stop hating people for immutable characteristics and start having thoughtful criticisms of people's actions thanks)
- ZIONISTS. BYE BYE
- (but also antisemites because come on now let's not do this. judiasm ≠ zionism)
- ableists, fatphobia, racists/bigots, general dickheads
- antishippers (again, you can either leave now or expect to be argued with)
other stuff under the cut bc this is already too long:
- I accept anonymous asks! and also non anonymous ones. ask me shit idk
- I am autistic and VERY gullible. if I reblog a "bait" post, or something that's clearly fake or a joke with a genuine reaction, I'm probably not playing some 5d irony chess I'm probably just stupid. y'all I'm sorry I'm trying :\
- I argue with people!! I enjoy arguing with people!! usually it's in replies and not reblogs but still. if you are allergic to discourse maybe don't follow me? I also rb "discourse" posts, mostly transmasc support stuff and callouts of transandrophobia, general solidarity stuff with the trans community or lgbt community as a whole, proship stuff, politics, current events, that kinda thing.
- I don't rb nsfw. not as, like, a rule, I just don't see the value in doing so lol. if I ever did I'd tag it and probably update this
UPDATE: thought I should clarify, I don't rb nsfw but I do rb nsfw humor, like dick jokes and stuff. hope there's no confusion
- this is, shockingly, supposed to be a fandom blog! (I got carried away.) current fandoms include: Ace Attorney (the one this blog was supposed to be about), Doctor Who (childhood hyperfixation come back to bite my ass), and Splatoon (no excuse). also MHA is basically my abusive boyfriend at this point but I'm trying to get better (not). you can find the records of my failing recovery at @alex-is-losing-sleep-over-krbk /hj (I also sometimes shamelessly rb this blog's posts over there lol)
and I guess since I'm mentioning fandoms, here are my fav ships: wrightworth, klapollo, franmaya, thoschei, pearlina, agent 24. also somehow, completely inexplicably, cuttletavio. listen I read like one really good fic and I just think—
anyways, that's about it. love you all :]

FDC LOSERS GET NO BITCHES💞💞💞
something i want to say first and foremost: there will be asks of questionable morality and asks that show the "uglier" side of NPD, it is a trauma disorder and more often than not it does not have pretty symptoms.
if you are an egotypical here to learn about NPD, you need to know no one here is going to be a "model minority" or whatever you're thinking. if you've come here to learn, you need to be open and aware many of us do not have "pretty" symptoms and this is a space we will not hide that in.
i am open to this being a space where egotypicals can read about our symptoms and experiences but ultimately, this space is not for you. this is a space for people with NPD and we will not filter ourselves just because it makes you uncomfortable.
heyo! like mentioned in the description this is a safe place and culture blog for people with narcissistic personality disorder to share their experiences :)
about the admin:
our names are poker, chorus, or fate
our collective pronouns are they/he and we collectively identify as a genderqueer aroace mspec lesbian
we're a polyfragmented system
we are clusters a, b, and c. we have NPD, HPD, BPD, AvPD, PPD, and are now heavily questioning StPD.
we're autistic and have ADHD
we're bodily white and ethnically jewish
frequent fronters:
🧋 - they/it/mint/nova+ - primary host, npd + hpd symptoms holder
📻 - he/him - secondary host, persecutor, bpd symptoms holder
🌃 - he/it - co-host, soother
🎶 - coffin/thou/they/she+ - co-host, homicidal thoughts holder
🥤 - he/him - sidesystem host
fun fact, there's a polish version of this blog! @bycie-narcyzem-to
we also run @hpdcultureis and @polyfragcultureis
tags:
media - npd character headcanons (and sometimes even characters who canonically have npd)
song reccs - songs with npd vibes
ableist creators - creators who use ableist language/demonize pwnpd/ect (i've said it once and i will say it again, this tag is not inherently meant to 'cancel' anyone in it or say they are malicious. i understand a lot of people are just ignorant and misinformed but i still believe pwnpd deserve to be warned ahead of time if a creator uses ableist language.)
point and laugh at the ableist - a tag for any hate i get that i decide to respond to for whatever reason, if you'd like to avoid it then block this tag
semi on topic to this section, refer to this post if you want to claim something as a sign off :)
dni:
basic dni (queerphobes, racists, terfs/radfems, ect. you get the idea)
exclustionists (we consider ourselves critically inclusive)
support transrace and transabled (people with biid are obviously fine), we have complex feelings on transage but generally have little problem with it as long as they use a different term such as altage or chronosian
people who believe in "narc abuse" or use narcissist in a derogatory sense/use it as a synonym for abuser
people who demonize npd or any cluster b disorders in general
anti-self-dx, we support self-dx here and people dont owe you an explanation on why they dont want to/cant get a professional diagnosis
radqueer, radpara, pro/neu/complex contact on harmful paras, hardcore proshippers or antis (just keep shipcourse away in general)
our syscourse stance if that's important to you i guess, i also want to add if you're against the HC-DID label or try to silence RAMCOA survivors, fuck right off ❤
other things to keep in mind:
if youre here to tell me about your relative/ex partner who had npd please dont <3. even if you put "but i dont think all people with npd are evil" after it, i genuinely dont want to hear about it.
similarly please dont come here to tell me how you "support people with npd as long as theyre not abusive," i agree with the sentitment and phrase but the fact that your immiedate thought after i bring up npd is abusers is part of the problem.
please start your asks with some form of "npd culture is." this can also include things like "npd + bpd culture is" and "npd artist culture is," as long as it includes npd in some way.
if youre here to send hate youre just feeding my ego lol you lose by default <3. (as a little side note though, any hate i get sent that i decide to post and make fun of will be put under the tag "point and laugh at the ableist" so if you'd like to avoid those, feel free to block the tag.)
i reserve the right to not post any asks/submissions for any reason.
please dont ask me for advice, i feel uncomfortable giving it on the topic of npd. i'm also not always 100% comfortable answering questions about it as i'm not a professional and it's not exactly where my confidence in my knowledge of psychology lies. i'm just someone with npd, i don't know everything and i don't want to be the cause of misinfo spreading. i'll try my best to answer questions i feel more confident on, but i won't answer everything.
we don't do this so much anymore but if an ask/post is tagged with an emoji, pay it no mind, its just how we keep track of which headmate posted what.
our system blog and the blog we post on most is @doomsdayradio. our main we follow/like/reply from is @demi-and-awkward.

And for those of you wondering who the last one is, these are my Halo OCs (who is also a bit of a god/prophet of mine), Kalmaya-A118 and her 'AI' buddy, Firefall, redrawn. If you wanna find out a bit more about her, just look at the lovely little things I wrote down bellow ;)
I might add to her dotn't points later, however, for now, this will have to do. Also, be warned; Kalmaya isn't actually in the Halo universe. In fact, if she was, she'd break it because she is... too powerful.
Here are some 'fun' facts about Kalmaya A118 and her bestis bud, Firefall :3
. She lives in an alternative-but-not-really-alternative universe, where her powers can be handled (she's too gay for gaylo)
. She visits the cannon timeline, but only time to time (and only to cause chaos cas she a gremlin fr)
. In her universe, they're missing a couple of people (who are in my basement), but they're only a few 'KIA' Spartan's that ppl tend to forget abt... and maybe 3 or 4 or 10 very alive ones. (Spartèmon, gotta catch em all...)
. Kalmaya is technically a demigod (on the premise that I am a God)
. Kalmaya owns a gravemind (awolololo gang for life yo)
. Kalmaya is also a bi les
. Kalmaya yoinked Umbra and a few other warframes outta their universes when she- actually, this will be hard to explain without writing a story on it (hint hint future me)
. Kalmaya is lovingly nicknamed 'Brutedundee'
. Kalmaya bonked Ballas (because I couldn't 😤)
. Kalmaya beat the living shit out of Chak Lok's corpse (because that's what real heroes do when their bestie gets hurt)
. Kalmaya is not permitted to bring a bag of live popcorn onto any ship unless it is her own and no one is aboard; if she is caught doing so, Firefall will become straight and embarrass the shit out of her...
Ima keep adding to these dot points later, but for now? For now enjoy these brain sharts >:3

Reading all the hate in the pan-related tags is seriously getting me down and making me so sad for my fellow pan people, so let me say this to y'all:
Fuck what these assholes are saying. We are better than that, better than them for not sinking to that level, and better than the hurtful things they say and believe! We don't deserve this. We don't deserve to have our identities repeatedly and constantly scrutinized, torn apart, and tossed aside. We don't deserve to have people post hate in our positivity tags. We don't deserve to be harassed and ridiculed for having a different identity. We. Deserve. Better.
We deserve love, kindness, understanding, and acceptance. We deserve to be part of the overall queer community, to share it with those who call themselves "more palatable, more acceptable" queer people. WE ARE PART OF THE LGBTQ+! WE BELONG HERE, TOO!
It's not the fault of every single pan person if one of us doesn't understand what pan means and/or has been told the wrong definition of it. It doesn't automatically make that person or the rest of us inherently transphobic, enbyphobic, biphobic jerks. Misunderstandings happen, and people spread false information due to confusion or hate. But that doesn't mean we're all bigoted, and it doesn't mean we want to be pitted against bi people or any other mspecs. We simply want to coexist and be allowed to use the labels we feel fit us the most.
A little lesson for y'all... Bi and pan are not and never have been the same. Bi includes trans/nonbinary people, and it always has. Pan includes them, too, which it always has as well. One is not better than the other, but neither is the exact same as the other. Pan simply means "attraction to ALL genders, regardless of gender," while bi is "attraction to two OR MORE genders." Bi CAN include all genders, yes, but it doesn't have to if the person claiming the label doesn't want it to. But pan ALWAYS includes all genders. So yes, they are different, and no, saying that doesn't make anyone rude or hateful or biphobic or panphobic. And there's nothing wrong with pointing out differences (nor similarities) between each other.
Really, it breaks my heart to see so much in-fighting STILL going on after years and years of it. I know it can be frustrating on both sides, but we have to stop. We don't have to be friends, we don't even have to like each other, but we have got to stop throwing hate at each other. We're all part of this community, we all belong here, and we all deserve to feel safe here. No matter how you feel towards each other, please realize that while we're all different with different genders and orientations, we have much more in common than you think. We all face discrimination from cishets; we're all fighting for equal human rights; and we're all just trying to make our way, find ourselves, and exist in a world where many people hate us simply for who we are.
Please, I know it's hard, but please try to be better to each other. Please show each other love and kindness when you can, and if you can't, please leave each other be. Sending love, light, and good vibes to each and every one of you out there 🩷

i think the thing is, is a lot of exclusionists are coming at this from the wrong direction. so much of the language used to argue against mspec lesbians is binarist to the extreme, which is extremely frustrating when what we’re talking about is a non-binary identity.
lesbianism has always included nonbinary people, and bisexuals, and gender nonconformists, and trans people, and aspecs, and men, and genderqueers, and mspec people of all kinds! we didn’t always have the language, but if you know what to look for you’ll see we were ALWAYS there.
but then the second wave of feminism hit, and with it came a lot of very loud upper-middle class white women’s opinions. political lesbianism became a thing, and lesbian separatism, and suddenly it wasn’t enough to just love women anymore. in fact, under political lesbian ideology, queer love for women didn’t factor in at all.
men were evil. men were inherently oppressors. men were sexually depraved animals that would ruin anything they touched. attraction under this ideology was an ethical choice. any woman who chose to align herself with a man was a traitor to the cause, and a victim of the patriarchy, and impure.
if that terminology sounds familiar, you’re right, it is! this was the birth of radical feminism, and with it came proto-TERFism.
now, please take a moment to consider why it became so important to center the exclusion of “men” in the definition of lesbianism. think about why a binary of “okay” and “not okay” genders would be encouraged, and who would benefit from their segregation.
all that said, i’ll address your concerns point by point
one of the bigger confusions for me with the mspec lesbian label is: what is a lesbian then?
the answer is the same as any queer identity. it’s up to personal interpretation. lesbian is a word that someone chooses to express theirself, to explain their identity, and to help find community where they belong.
in my opinion, and how i define lesbian for personal use: a lesbian is someone who experiences queer attraction to women, and prioritizes that attraction when seeking relationships.
but if a lesbian defines their personal experience with lesbianism around their lack of attraction to men, that’s cool! it’s their identity, and they’re the only one who can decide how to relate that to the real world.
the not cool part is when a singular experience is generalized, and touted as universal.
There Is No Universal Experience. the way you feel is not going to be exactly identical to everyone else.
Ive heard [lesbian] re-defined “queer attraction to women” but thats also for example what bisexual women have.
this seems to be a shocking statement to a lot of exclusionists. but. having things in common with other queer people is a good thing. yes, correct, bisexual women experience queer attraction to women. and they have personal reasons why they don’t identify with lesbianism, just like you (i assume) have personal reasons why you don’t identify with mspec labels. some people have personal reasons why they identify with multiple labels. and it’s not our business to pry into anyone’s private life!
also, as an aside bc it feels like a lot of people forget this: a bi woman’s queer attraction to women is not lesser than a lesbian woman’s. bisexuals and lesbians are equally queer. bi women and lesbian women have valuable shared experiences, including and not limited to their love for women, and the history of their communities.
Lesbianism centers women and its the only sexuality that doesnt include men.
it is not the only sexuality that doesn’t include men. ceterosexual. finsexual. enbian. neptunic. nominsexual. womasexual. hell, even bisexual doesn’t have to include men! i could go on and on and on, but my point is made.
if you don’t want to use a different label when you already identify with lesbianism so strongly, well… huh. i wonder who else feels that way 🤔
I dont see why lesbians cant just have our own label for our own sexuality?
this is a bad argument, and my absolute least favorite phrase to hear in a conversation about inclusivity. i will not give a question asked in such bad faith the dignity of a real response.
If we decide lesbianism includes men we wont even have a label for that shared experience anymore.
again, we’re not ~deciding~ that lesbianism includes men. multigender, genderfluid, nonbinary, butch, and otherwise genderqueer lesbians have always existed. it’s transphobic revisionism to say that they didn’t, to pretend this is a new concept.
parting statements
1) there are always reasons why a person connects with a label. when it comes to queer identity, a lot of people think long and hard about it. we’re talking hours upon hours of introspection- weeks, years even. if someone identifies in a way you don’t understand, it’s not your business to question them. they’ve thought about their experience more than you ever could.
2) because this is a big argument that gets thrown around: we are not going to force you to fuck men. we are not going to force you to fuck us. if you are not attracted to men, and/or you don’t want to be in a relationship with someone who could be, then walk away from them. that’s literally all it takes.
3) the acknowledgement and acceptance of mspec lesbians Does Not suggest or encourage the normalization of corrective rape, conversion therapy, or lesbophobic harassment. it does not contribute to lesbian erasure, as that is a problem with public representation and historical accounts, Not a matter of personal identity
