What if.... Winx CLUB (Fuck fate) was written by a queer woman, where the Winx wore couture fashion in official art, where the fairies were lesbians and men didn't exist in the world building because why would the specialists (human form having men with no magic aside from using magic weapons that fairies and witches could just use) need to protect magic having fairies and witches?

What if! Flora and Musa? Or maybe Musa and Aisha?

You don't see Musa always arguing with Aisha, do you? You don't see Musa debating on her friendship with Aisha, do you?

Musa falling for an ass like Riven is hard to see for my girl who's more pedal to the medal, it's hard to see because Musa and Aisha is more a love story you'll ever see.

Haruka and Michiru in both femme.

THE COMFORTING?! You sure that Riven moment wasn't just for hetero appeal?

Musa and Flora have their disputes but they are sure enough good together, plus in Season 6 and 5 they were so!! You sure the writers didn't make Helia act so Sky coded (Nobody wanna be Sky coded) so they can add their gay agenda?

Stella and Bloom is good too!

Stella wouldn't abandon Bloom in a situation where Bloom is confused about her identity as a fairy, hell she was the one who sneaked Bloom into Alfea, she'd probably even say it was her fault, she's a ride or die, I do enjoy Brandon and Stella together but I dislike Bloom and Sky together.

Hell even Bloom and Diaspro look good together, I hated how Diaspro was villainized for feeling hurt by Sky's betrayal, how she had genuine feelings and let go for a while because of her and Floras chat along with the pixies.

Hell even Flora and Diaspro?

Diaspro learning kindness from Flora? Flora learning how to be more open about her feelings both negative and positive? Because Diaspro is a spoiled bitch it makes for an idea of her coming in clutch with someone who would set aside her own needs for others that she'd learn some sense of morality, maybe make the third season have side plots where Flora and Diaspros one blooming friendship starts coming to an stop and Flora is on the wavering of choosing to understand Diaspro or see her as an enemy for spelling her friend (Sky🙄) Where they have a chat in the middle of the Winx trying to escape dark Sky.

Is this based on the fact that they both are red-headed and self-centered? Yes. Both of them have a short temper and also in Bloom’s first transformation she has a crown on her head. It fits. They are literally twins.

⋆⋅☆Stella and Vil

The two fashion queens, is there any question on why Vil would be Stella? They would totally be friends and gossip. They are both very self centered characters that deep down care a lot about their friends.

⋆⋅☆Musa and Lilia

Ok I know this one seems strange but Musa loves music and Lilia is in the school music group. Also the two of them lost someone really important to them. Maybe it’s just on me but I feel like Musa’s aesthetic fits Lilia.

⋆⋅☆Aisha and Azul

Fish people stand together. Both didn't have many friends while growing up. Also, they are the type of characters that will do anything and everything to achieve their goals.

⋆⋅☆Flora and Kalim

They are both so sweet and kind. Their powers are similar in the sense that while Flora is the fairy of nature, Kalim can help regrow a whole forest with his “Oasis Maker”, sooo if you think about it they are somewhat similar??????

⋆⋅☆Tecna and Idia

Is there any doubt about this? Technology buddies? They probably are Discord friends and play League of Legends. Both are really smart and have a hard time expressing themselves. Aside from that they also love creating things.

Winx & Specialists Dynamics that are so Precious to me

it makes sense that in the show, winx and their non-boyfriend specialists don’t interact much. but!! i’m very insane about codependent found families, and I want them all to love each other. so here’s my take on some tet-a-tet dynamics:

rare pairings:

Musa & Timmy: childhood frenemies. they used to go to the same middle school on Melody, and as type-A tweens do, had an intense, “you’re the only person I match myself to” kind of rivalry. they lost contact after Timmy moved away, chilled out considerably, reconnected in Alfea and had a wonderful banter-filled friendship since. because of how fast they slotted back into a friendship, some of their classmates genuinely thought they were siblings.

Tecna & Riven: got up from a rough patch. from “I dislike you but we both love Musa, so we have to be civil” to “you have more depths to you than I expected” to “now that I understand you, I can’t help but admire certain things about you” to “bitch, you are the only person who is as weird and clueless as I am, ARE YOU READY TO GO TO THE ARCADE AND ANNIHILATE KIDS FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES”

Flora & Brandon: little sister, older brother vibes. of similar temperaments and views, they enjoy spending time over a cup of tea — talking about everything and nothing. it’s therapeutic, almost.

(no one in the group knew that Brandon and Flo were good friends. once, when the two had to team up during a mission, Bloom couldn’t even finish saying: “it would be a good opportunity for you to get to know each ot-“, before the specialist-fairy duo were re-creating the most complicated and choreographed hand shake ever. jaws were on the floor.)

Aisha & Brandon: they are sporties, and they like doing sport things together! they don’t talk aside from exchanging brief encouragements and advice while out, preferring to spend their time in companionable silence. sorta like those dads who never talk to their buddies, but somehow have the strongest and longest bonds ever?

Helia & Bloom: artist besties. Bloom drags Helia out on picnics, where they practice observational drawing (and tiktok trends that Bloom desperately wants to reenact but none of the winx are good at arts); Helia responds by taking her out to see art museums in Magix. it’s a fun dynamic of Bloom being the bubbly gold retriever, and Helia being her black cat.

Tecna & Sky: they didn’t have much of a relationship until year 4. somehow, they both got really, intensely into weaponsmithing and built a joint workshop. they found that they enjoy working alongside each other and value each other’s insights. sky goes to tecna when he needs frank, un-sugarcoated advice, and tecna accompanies sky on hikes and other spirited adventures, for “bonding activities” (because he told her she doesn’t get out of her comfort zone enough). it’s a relationship of deep mutual respect.

Sky & Stella: childhood friends. they knew each other as children and enjoyed playing together (which is how Stella also knew Brandon pre-Red Fountaine). at least, until Stella was unofficially banned from Eraklyon because shenanigans, and they lost contact. they still jokingly call each other “My Lady” and “My Lord”.

Stella & Nabu. Both are flirty and extroverted people, who enjoy the spirit of showmanship. They have a friendly rivalry going of who can fluster the villain of the week the fastest.

canon bf-gf dynamics (dating in canon, open to interpretation otherwise):

Bloom x Sky: liked each other since the first meeting; bonded over being the friend group moms. (on unrelated note: bloom gentle parents her friends, while sky goes all exasperated cig mom on his team and repeats things like: “you better go to sleep right now, or so help me Dragon I will take away your Owl pilot privileges-“)

they are not the most outwardly affectionate couple of the winx, yet they are so wordlessly devoted to each other. sky will follow bloom to the ends of all dimensions, when she gets a calling from powers as mystical as she. bloom will always believe in him and see him as his own man, unlike the many who see him only as his father’s son. they were entwined by fate, long before one had met the other; yet, there’s the trust, the respect, the faith so strong — that could have only come from friendship forged and tested by fire.

Stella and Brandon: the hottest power couple; sole reason behind 60% of all student fairies/specialists/witches queer awakening.

they banter all. the. goddamn. time. these dorks are speaking a whole different language.

they are also most comfortable in each other’s company, being able to be their genuine, less polished selves. stella and brandon are both performers bred and born, playing the roles of a noble princess and a knight. it’s nice, to have a safe reprieve from all that acting.

Aisha and Nabu. their love was one that sneaked up on them. their distance, set by their discomfort at the idea of an arranged marriage, bridged as they transitioned from being reluctant comrades to friendly rivals to unwilling friends to best friends to “if someday the moon calls you by your name, don’t be surprised — because every night I tell her about you”

Tecna and Timmy: partners in crime, ride or die, sunny faith in each other — even when the other person doesn’t believe in themself. I have a whole post about them, go read that ;)

Flora and Helia: they are so. they are. they-

icons. the most romantic couple, the one that sets the standards, the one that gives their friends advice. they are extremely attentive to each other’s needs and tender with each other’s feelings.

flora can recite helia’s poems in her sleep, and trace his drawings with her eyes closed. helia brings mielle presents every time he stops by. flora has tea with helia’s dad every other tuesday; she keeps note of every time helia and saladin are supposed to meet up, to be able to whisk helia away after and distract him from his troubles. helia knows how to care of flora’s plants, and sends her lovingly assorted gift baskets semi-regularly.

Musa and Riven. their relationship is push and pull, is joy then sorrow.

it’s all in a drag of a cigarette, in the vortex of a starless night, in the hoarse laughter. “of all the people in the world, why did it have to be you?” she’ll say and smile.

“ ‘m afraid we’re doomed, lover,” he’ll reply, faux-casually, and smile back. both of them know it’s the truth.

their relationship was not built to last, not for the lack of love or try. maybe they were too similar — both headstrong, unbending, bleeding hearts. maybe they were just different enough not to understand their hurts. nevertheless, it was not built to last — but neither of them would ever bring to regret it. love prevails, no matter in what form in comes, or something like that.

So I've been asked what my ideal relationship timeline is winx would be like for the canon relationships (on discord), so here it is!!!

Bloom/Sky:

This fucking relationship was a mess! Not even a mess in the way Rivusa was a mess, I mean them both imagining a kiss at the end of s1 fucking mess. Help what is wrong with them

For them I would like them to get in a relationship before the Trix try and convince Bloom that she was made by the ancestral witches (Valtor foreshadowing?) and then they break up during the Diaspro event. He gets his ass DUMPED!!! Consequences for your actions you little asshole!!!

They make up during the s1 finale and Sky is like "can we start dating again 🥺" and Bloom is like "No💙". The imagined kiss can still happen, it was so insane, you can keep it

Then s2 happens and Sky is trying so hard to be a good bf "plz take me backkk" and then hes like "I hate Avalon. I'm not even like doing this bc I want you back, that man is CREEPY. Riven agrees and we had an entire civil conversation about it. Baby plz." Bloom is not listening 💙💙💙 and then the dark Bloom thing happens and Sky fights tooth and nail to save her and they make up form like everything from s1 and s2!!! Yaya

After all that they are dating now, good for them, good for them. WAIT? WHATS GOING ON?? ITS VALTOR WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!!! SKLOOM IS ON THE FUCKING FLOOR!!! God they are such a fucking mess goddamn

Riven very quickly points out that Sky was under mind control and Bloom feels bad and she goes to save him and they talk about it and they're fine mostly. They talk about it, it hurt them both but it doesn't fuck them up completely

The first movie is the same except they don't get engaged, please calm down both of you, think about this for a little longer, but they're happy and good for them

Stella/Brandon:

Literally the only thing I would change is that they are obviously in a relationship early in s1 and they DON'T break up after the reveal, even though Brandon thinks they're broken up

That's it, aside from that no notes

Musa/Riven:

The show ends after the first movie, the later seasons don't exist and can't hurt me (<- are currently hurting me)

In season one it's established that Musa and Riven met before the season and Musa remembers the interaction a better than Riven does, instead of her seeing Riven act like a dick and then suddenly liking him. She's already seen the soft side of him and she wants the "mean to everyone but me" relationship bc Musa is insane too ❤️

S1 and s2 should vibe most untouched aside from this and Riven and Musa should both acknowledge that they like each other at the beginning of s2 but don't get in a relationship bc Riven isn't emotionally ready 4 another relationship so soon after Darcy and Musa is nomral about it (she's not).

S3 except the golden Kingdom is slightly different, the worry Riven is feeling is shown over anything else. Yeah I'll keep the motorcycle thing in, Riven can't communicate and Musa has a mood disorder they're gonna get into a couple dump fights at first. That's just being mentally ill they're fine. They should like immediately make up tho, like as someone who knows people like this the apologies for being insane bc you had a mood swing or can't read social cues are like so quick

Keep the first movie but Riven doesn't have to relearn any lessons, he is simply vibing and in love with Musa and breaks out of mind control bc of his resounding guilt after being forced to hurt her

Tecna/Timmy:

TIMMY DOESN'T HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF IN S2!!!! EVERYTHING STAYS THE SAME BUT THAT

Okay and Tecna doesn't explicitly state she doesn't want a relationship bc then it feels weird when she gets into one

But like in s2 when Tecna gets pissed at Timmy for not intentionally picking a fight he can't win that could get him killed?? She's treated as the one in the wrong and has to learn to be more chill than Timmy having to do anything, he literally wasn't in the wrong

S2 was so disrespectful to Timmy I SWEAR

Flora/Helia:

GIVE THEM MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER TRAIT!!!!!

Flora stops having a personality after this, please let her yell at people in begging you. Give Flora a character arc I'm begging you

Helia doesn't have a personality!! He has a bunch of implications and he's literally never around in s2 OR s3!! So often it's the winx and specialists except Helia!!

Let them like express different sides of their personality and give Helia more screen time, that's all I ask

I'm on my knees begging you

I can't even say anything because there's literally nothing to go off of

Take the shab stone comic and put it into the show

Aisha/Nabu:

Please imagine a world where Aisha is arranged to marry someone and that person and her love interest are two different ppl

Keep it the same except Nabu isn't her arranged partner, they meet while fighting on Andros and Nabu keeps showing up because he ran away from home and has no idea what the fuck he's doing without all his servants and he's asking Aisha for help djwbdbwjsbwnwbs

That would be MY ideal for them but if have to keep the large plot points the same I wouldn't change anything, like my problem is the inciting incident of their relationship the development itself is cute, but id want them to become official in s4 instead. Only Florelia (sane people) and Brella (soulmates) can get away with the one season romance and make it feel natural, Aisha would not get into a relationship that quickly, but that's a nitpick if anything

No other Aisha relationships exist and if they did they'd be with Roy and not Nex shut up

so i finished Fate:The Winx Saga season 2…….

SPOILER ALERT!!

RAMBLING AHEAD BRACE YOURSELVES

…….i freaking loved it!!!

i mean season 1 was cute, something nice to watch especially if you, like me, used to watch the animated show as a kid, and wanted to be brought back to that world

but season 2 slapped!! i loved it!! idk why but it had that something more.

i guess it felt like while in S1 the story was completely revolving around Bloom, just focusing on her growth and her adapting to the Otherworld, in S2 we know that Bloom is important because we finally discover that she has the Dragon Flame and is the only one that can best Sebastian, still it allowed other characters to have their own stories and development. Also Sebastian surname being Valtor… we love a good reference

I loved all the other side-stories: Aisha & Grey, when i found out he was a blood witch i was like OwO

Terra storyline was so sweet!! Flora also is a great addition to the ensemble and i liked it how she is different than how she is in the animated series (since her personality is already portrayed by Terra), it would have been boring otherwise

Bloom and Sky… they are adorable, incredible chemistry and it shows, all their scenes were either absolutely lovely or absolutely heartbreaking

Stella and Beatrix: yes please! i loved them together! two sassy queens dealing with a lot of shit, i hope Beatrix comes back (also she has two sister Isobel and D’arcy!! the way i SCREAMED, i feel the trix are coming)

then my beloved Musa and Riven: i love love love love love them, Musa storyline was brilliant this season and i love how they showed Riven growth (less of an asshole and more similar to the Riven in the animated series)

i also liked the way the gave Farah a proper farewell (they shipped her away from westeros for that scene lol)

also OMG THE TRANSFORMATION!!!!!!

ahhhhh the more i think about it the more i love this season

brian young did his homework this time!!

in general, i really liked it and i think that a second rewatch is going to happen very soon

Ok so I thought what if the reader heard the winxs talking behind their back and saying she not good enough to be at alfea and while she alone crying 😭 the reader bumps into valtor and agrees to work together.then one day while the winxs and reader we're fighting valtor the reader betrays them right in front of them 😳🫢🙀😈 ( kinda giving Backstabber by Kesha vibes don't you think?) anyways in the end valtor and the reader win the battle and kinda start growing feeling for each other and then start dating 😘😍(hope this isn't a big request 😬😓 I just love drama for some reason 🤷‍♀️😊😅)

This is a great idea, I will try to make it longer than some of the others I have done hehe

You were on Solarita with the other Winx girls. You left them as you wanted to find your room. Just as you let you turned back because you forgot your bag. That is when you heard what they were saying.

"I don't why Faragonda wants her a part of the Winx. She doesn't fit in." Musa said.

The other girls hummed in agreement.

"Sounds like she begged Faragonda to be a part of something so she got stuck with us. She can't even earn her enchantix!" Stella said.

You listened to them as you hid behind the corner. You held back your tears. You truly thought you made some friends but you guess that was a lie. You quietly started to run to the guest room. You didn't want to stay here anymore. You were crying and just running when you bumped into something hard.

You looked up at the thing. Valtor raised an eyebrow. You weren't a part of the castle staff as far as he had seen. He softened a bit seeing your tear-stained face.

"I don't think it is safe to run when you're crying, m'lady." He said. You let out a weak laugh.

"I didn't know I was crying," you muttered and wiped your face.

"Now what's wrong? I heard there is a party tonight... Aren't you excited?" He asked. He placed a hand behind your back and walked you out to the gardens. You shook your head.

"I was excited but... now I don't want to go... I'll be ignored anyways." Valtor frowned. How could someone ignore you. You were pretty. He thought you were prettier than the princess the ball was for.

"How could someone ignore you, darling?"

"My friends... well they are not my friends anymore are talking shit behind my back. Apparently, I'm desperate." You laughed. "But that's fine, I've always been alone. I don't really contribute to the group much." You went on. Valtor had an idea and smirked.

"You know... I'm looking for some help. Would you like to join me? Trust me no one will ever ignore a beauty like you." He grinned at you. You looked up at him curiously.

"What is it that you are doing?" You asked bluntly.

"Just gaining the magic back that was stolen from me. If you help I will share the magic making you stronger and you may rule a kingdom of your own." You had to admit that sounded nice and you nodded.

"Deal." You replied.

"My name is Valtor." He said. "I will let you know when the plan is starting." He said and walked away. "Don't tell anyone anything yet understood?" you nodded understanding. It felt nice to be wanted. This was your chance to show them that you were as great as them. You went to your guest room and looked at the bed. There was a beautiful gown that was blue and purple. It had gems on it. You smiled a bit at it. You picked up the note that was on top.

A few weeks after the ball you were chilling in your room reading a book about different artifacts. Valtor had given you a few and you took their magic without anyone knowing but him and the Trix. The Trix welcomed you into their sisterhood. They might have been jealous of how Valtor was with you but that didn't matter to you. They were better friends than the Winx.

Plenty of times you were last to be saved or they forgot you for missions. You didn't mind as you spent that time with Valtor. He was a really great friend. He helped you. You jumped as your door slammed open. You looked up it was the Winx.

"Hurry up, we have a mission," Flora said. You nodded and got up out of bed and walked to the ship and sat down alone in one corner. They were failing miserably against Valtor. Valtor was strong than them. When you arrived at the place you saw a wasteland almost. You were the last to leave the ship.

Valtor fell down in front of Winx and you. Everyone transformed. They didn't notice you transform into an outfit like the Trix's but longer and a coat. It was red to match Valtor. You hated acting like you were on their side. Valtor sent a blow sending you all down to the ground. Valtor walked over to you and held his hand with a smirk.

"Need any help up, darling?" He asked. You nodded and smiled at him as you stood up with his help. The Winx watched in shock. You were a traitor. They got up quickly ready to fight you both. You sent them some red smoke the smoke had dark magic and a sleeping spell that drained them of their magic. Once the smoke returned to you you would gain their magic. Valtor would have the dragon flame from Bloom. You smirked watching them cough.

"why are you doing this Y/N?" Bloom asked.

"You traitor!" Stella exclaimed. You only could laugh.

"I heard you talking shit about me behind my BACK at Stella palace. Although it isn't your home anymore...all well." You grinned. "Now I'm repaying you for it." Valtor wrapped his arms around your waist and created a portal and both of you left.

Back at Valtor's castle and the Trix were glad the Winx got what they deserved. You all enjoyed some dinner before heading to bed. Although you couldn't sleep and walked to Valtor's room and knocked.

"Come in!" Valtor said. He knew it was you and he smiled as you opened his bedroom doors and went over to his bed. You laid against his side. He was reading before you walked in. He closed the book and sat it on the table. "Can't sleep, love?"

"Yeah," you replied. He kissed your head.

"I have a question."

"Shoot away."

"Will you be my queen?"

"Yes... yes, I will Valtor." You said with a smile. He kissed you gently. You ended up falling asleep in his arms with a big smile. You belonged here. You had a home and a family.

So, in the process of trying to get my partner into one of my childhood favorites, Winx Club, the brain gremlins took hold of me and I am now in the process of creating a rewrite. Not the entirety of canon, but definitely the first three seasons and throwing in some extra stuff from other seasons that I really enjoyed as well as some of my own personal flair.

That being said, a rewrite obviously has to come with redesigns and I have literally just finished up everyone's first transformation

Layla, or Aisha, is up first! I did really enjoy her original design (honestly, they're all wonderful) but it just wasn't going to work for my AU. Considering she's from a planet that is dominated by water, as well as being related to actual mermaids, I absolutely had to add in more mermaid traits. So we have wings that look and act similar to dorsal fins in the water which makes her an exceptionally fast swimmer, almost on par with her cousins. Then, of course, I had to include shells in there. The shells that function as her heels are angel wing shells and a horn snail shell.

Musa, oh Musa. Her original was lovely but it just didn't have enough punk inspiration. Luckily I was more than happy to provide a little in the form of shorts and a half skirt on top of wonderful boots with buckles. I did keep the sheer centerpiece though because I really wanted to pay some respect to the original. Also, and this is just my personal opinion, space buns are superior. My shining glory of this design has to be the wings, though. The bass clefs are wonderful but to top it all off I had to add the CD shine. It was a necessity. Also, if you haven't noticed the fact that her arm accessories mirror Layla/Aisha's, now is the time to notice. SoundWave will be a thing in this AU.

Flora needed more green! She deserves a little green considering she's a nature fairy and how else would I incorporate it other than vines? Especially considering she uses vine attacks all the time! Also that rose inspired skirt was a pain to do but so worth it. If anyone deserves a rose skirt, it's Flora.

While I do love Tecna, her original always felt like it was missing something so, after some scrolling through sci-fi stuff, I added the cropped jacket to it and more green for her as well. The ear piece actually extends into a helmet with a retractable visor, I'll probably post another image with it on full display another time.

Another thing to add is that there is a criminal shortage of Flora x Tecna content to the point that I haven't even seen a fun little ship name for them. So, I'll just be using BioTech.

Getting right into Stella's redesign, starting with the wings! I did like her original wings but with her being the fairy of the sun I kind of just spread them out similar to the way rays of light look. As for her outfit, I really wanted to add onto the ethereal kind of look with gorgeous drapery similar to what you see in depictions of goddesses but with a modern twist! Hence the underbust and other additions.

Bloom but much more draconian. As she deserved considering she's the keeper of the dragon fire. Dragon wings. Dragon scales. Need I say more? Yes, actually. Her boots are more armor like, which was fun but not the best part. The silver chains, the necklace, the gemstones. They're made to be a mirror to Stella's because SolarFlare is absolutely iconic. They deserve each other so much and it is my mission to highlight this fact.

I have so much planned for this AU. So many ideas that I've already noted down and places I want to go with this, I can't wait to get started.

And I literally just realized that this AU needs an actual name, so I'm going to go with Psyche. The reasons why will become clear later. 💜
