old fashion sweetheart i sure do love this man. i’m sorry to be so vague for this one, but his gift is definitely some very niche, partially homemade idea of some inside joke of yours. he wants you to know it’s personal to him, that he really put a lot of thought into your gift and that he loves you. a cute little stay at home kinda date, and you two make dinner together as you listen to your favorite playlists and laugh. very good fella. love him sm.

his gift is that he doesn’t insult u all day😁🤝 no. no it’s not. he still insults you you’re not fucking dying why wouldn’t he? he burns you a cd and then realizes that’s kinda not cool and so he just makes you a playlist. actually explains the reason for each song (not verbally, though) and he brings u strawberry short cake bc he is convinced it’s the pinnacle of desserts he does not care if you like smth more take the gesture.

this lil dummy is so doting. starts your day off by bringing you your favorite coffee or tea and a lil kiss. he buys you guys something matching LMAO like maybe some bracelets or smth and while i am not a big “matching” fanatic and i don’t think bokuto would necessarily be an avid bracelet wearer, but he will not take that bracelet off unless it’s like a tournament game. definitely takes you out to some fancy dinner and also probably gets you kicked out of the restaurant

akaashi is very down to earth. so, he knows what you’re going to want. he also knows what he wants to give you. so let’s say you’re really really into smth he rly rly hates, he’ll listen to you talk about it absolutely, but he might not spend money on it? in his eyes, the gift would be just like your relationship— a mutual understanding where two separate people come together. i cant say what it would be specifically (i’m sorry D: if u want my generic answer it would be: a lamp), but it definitely is a representation of what the two of you are together.

he gives you something disgustingly meaningful. like the kind of nice that makes you want to gag yknow? but you don’t really know how meaningful it is at first?? he gives you like this little “photo book” esque thing, and you KNOW oikawa gave him the idea LMAO. it’s already so cute but at the end there’s just a little piece of paper with a day on it and you’re like what? and he shrugs and goes “wonder what that is? hmm” and you know he’s teasing u so u kinda joke ab it but he won’t tell u. then at the end of your date when he’s dropping you home he kisses you and he’s like “oh yea, that paper??” and you’re like omg yes finally and he looks so nonchalant when he says “yea, kinda weird that i remember this, but that’s the day i fell in love with you🤢” and he nods and laughs and you’re just Staring. you are STARING loss for words but he fucking leaves before you can ask him ab it. this made me physically sick to write bye

simpleton scrub. buys you a gag gift or pretends he doesn’t remember. starts breaking out laughing when you try to hide ur disappointed look (it’s ok to punch ppl sometimes😁‼️). his real gift is kinda cliche, but i feel like he really has no idea what he’s doing for like actual relationships even if he tries to hide it. he just gets you like one of those rectangle bar necklace, and he does get his initials on it bc he’s kind of a braggy fuck, but he only does it on one side so you can choose whether to show it or not.

this man is absolutely a perfectionist. he is so loving, absolutely, but he’s also kind of immature? so, he’s a little nervous to give you a gift because what if yours isn’t as good. LMAO it sounds rude, but he always wants to be pushed to be better and do better, and even tho this is a declaration of affection, he can’t help but attaching competition? so he buys you two gifts- a mediocre one and what he thinks is really good. the mediocre one is just like a stuffed animal and the really good one is personalized, and well thought out, and it just Screams that he loves you. it definitely centers on a passion of yours so i can’t get like a specific example but if you play guitar he like bought you a fucking case youve wanted for months kinda vibe LMAO. also, truth be told, bc he’s a sucker for you, no matter what u get him he’s gonna give u the “mediocre” gift and the other one as well.

Alright guys! It’s time!

I feel like Cas is upset though. Like, he’s extra frustrated with the whole Amara and God thing. Not that I blame him of course. He’s just got a certain...coldness to him in this episode. But I like how it disappears whenever he’s talking to Jack. <3 <3 Good acting on Misha’s part.

For example, that little soft smile when he looks over at Jack logging in to the social media account is so sweet and so cute and so undeniably fatherly. <3 <3

Okay, gotta be honest: British demon? Totally hot.

"Why is he talking like that?” he whispers, very loudly in a way that the party he is speaking of can definitely hear him. XD XD <3 <3

Also I’m not sure how I feel about them telling Amara about Jack. Like, I like her, and I feel like she’s gonna help, but what if she doesn’t? She could, whether intentionally or unintentionally, wind up seeing Chuck and mentioning Jack to him, and if she does, that ruins the whole plan. But, on the other hand, I guess they have to earn her trust, and keeping details from her would definitely make that harder. But I still don’t like it. It puts my baby in danger. Again. But anyways.

AHHHHH!!! I NEED NEXT WEEK RIGHT NOW!!! AHHHHH!!! THIS IS SO NOT OKAY!!!!

If I deny it ever happened, then it didn’t happen, right? Jack and Cas solved the case, Sam and Dean got Amara’s help, and they all went home and had family dinner, okay? New ending. There we go. Problem solved. Because NO!

Well...f**k. I guess it’s review time?? But JESUS CHRIST!!! Okay, okay, I need a minute. Please hold.

(Several Hours Later)

Okay. I’m back. Let me start with something kind of amusing. Several minutes after the episode ended, while I was still trying to process everything, this interaction happened:

Me, breathing heavily and dying inside: Mom, you do not seem as distressed about this as I am.

My Mom: I am never as distressed as you are about anything in this show. It’s impossible for me to reach that level of distress. I don’t know how you do it.

So...if you didn’t already realize how emotionally connected to this show I am, now you do. XD

That said, let’s get down to it.

God, there is soooo much to unpack with that episode, and even crazier, it honestly all comes from that last five minutes. Let me start with this:

I really enjoyed this episode! It can’t quite beat last week’s episode--but, honestly, I don’t know if any of the other episodes will be able to, except for maybe the finale--but it was good! I had a few qualms about Matt Cohen’s directing, but he definitely had some strong moments, so it wasn’t bad. And, admittedly, at first, I felt like the pacing of the episode was kind of slow, and switching back and forth between the Winchesters and Cas and Jack felt kind of choppy for a bit, but as the episode played out, I realized why. This was a full-on set-up episode. While last week gave us a chance to be silly with the boys and see some beautiful family bonding, this was the one that set us up for what’s sure to be heavy and plot-filled coming up. (And yes, I know next week’s episode is much more of a monster-of-the-week, but 15x17 is when things will likely really get down to it, so I’m sure there’ll still be some important plot stuff next week--especially since we need a resolution to the Cas and Dean talk). Between the boys having to find and trick Amara, and Cas and Jack bonding and working with each other again, plus that big reveal at the end, it’s setting up the next string of episodes to be fast-paced and intense as they finally start to take on God.

With that said, I really loved being able to see Jack and Cas together again. It’s been so long since we’ve seen them really spend time together and bond, and watching them play off each other and be father and son was adorable and hilarious. Plus, I just love Jack with every fiber of my being, so that makes everything better. XD <3

I also really loved Dean’s interactions with Amara. I mentioned this already, but that scene, where he’s talking about Mary...that was some INCREDIBLE acting on Jensen’s part. He’s always been really good at that subtle rage, especially when it’s also filled with sadness, and this scene was no different. And I’m glad that they did finally get Amara on board; however, I’m a little concerned with what she’s going to do when she finds out he lied. Especially after how worried she seemed to be. AND SPEAKING OF LYING!!

THOSE LAST FIVE MINUTES! HOLY SHIT!!

Okay, so I’ve had some time to think about this and talk it out with some people, so I’m just gonna roll with the thoughts as they go through my brain. First of all, that is a big no a thousand times over. Jack, you cannot die. Second of all, that reveal was very well done on the writer’s part. After such a nonchalant episode--in terms of pace, that is--to have that in the last five minutes, AND to end with that cliffhanger, was a beautiful way to keep us fans guessing, invested, and wanting more. But also, SCREW YOU!

That said, as freaked out as I was--and honestly, I’m still pretty worried--I really don’t think Jack’s going to die. There’s no way. Initially, my theory left Cas and Jack standing at the end of all of this. After CW said that thing about one of the main characters not surviving to the end, I thought it was gonna be Dean, but I can also see how it could be both Sam and Dean. However, in any case, Cas and Jack, in my various theories, always end up on top. So Jack saying he’s going to die in order to kill Chuck and Amara TOTALLY threw me. BUT! After talking it through with someone else, I seriously doubt it’s going to happen.

First of all, Cas is about to go look for another way, and, as we’ve seen in the past, they always find another way. After all, this is the Winchesters (and yes, Cas counts, obviously).

Second of all, they’re telling us this five episodes before the end, but Jack is, supposedly, completing his final ritual in 15x17. That leaves three episodes of unaccounted time, and if Jack is really going to die to kill Chuck and Amara, there’s no way they can stretch that over three episodes. Therefore, his dads are bound to stop it. To FURTHER that, 15x17 has Jack and Dean heading out together to complete Jack’s final ritual while Sam and Cas stay behind, which means that, once Jack does whatever he’s supposed to do, Dean is bound to find out what Billie’s true intentions are, and I’m convinced that he’s not going to be okay with it. Because here’s the thing. Between Sam and Dean, Jack is the one that Dean still needs the most forgiveness from. And, kind of like what happened in Last Holiday, the second Dean realizes Jack is in actual danger, he’s not going to let anything happen to him. And I’m hoping that the resulting protectiveness will give Dean the chance to tell Jack that he does forgive him, which will hopefully release some of Jack’s guilt complex and give them the ability to find another way.

THIRD of all, (and I mentioned this in my reactions), this whole “becoming the bomb to kill the cosmic entities” is an exact mirror of what Dean tried to do in S11, and we saw how that went. But the thing is, why would the writers play the exact same storyline again unless they were intending to parallel it and connect it to Jack and Dean’s relationship now? When Dean didn’t detonate in S11, he got his mom back, but then Jack killed her. Now, Jack is ready to detonate himself as a bomb because of having killed Mary, and Dean’s bound to stop him, especially after that conversation with Amara. Maybe this is all wishful thinking, but I really, sincerely feel like (and hope) that Jack isn’t going to make that sacrifice. Because, on top of all of that, while I love the family that is Team Free Will 2.0, this show still is, as it always has been, about Sam and Dean, and, as such, it should end with them too. So the odds of Jack being the “be all end all” without Sam and Dean’s help? Super slim.

So, to sum that up, as worried as I am about my baby, I really really really think (and god I hope I’m right) that that’s not the way this story will end. There has to be more to it.

With all of that addressed, let’s talk about WHATEVER it is that Cas is about to tell Dean. For me, there are two things it could be:

First, there’s the obvious answer based on the episode itself. Cas is about to tell Dean that Jack has to die in order to kill Chuck and Amara. However, I don’t think that’s it, because that seems too easy and unrealistic. If Cas tells Dean that now, then why would Dean take him to do his final ritual in 15x17 (I guess this is what happens when you read too much promotional material lol)? And even if he does, the next episode seems to be very Sam and Dean centric, and Cas dropping a bomb like that would not allow for a Sam and Dean centric episode, at least not when it’s putting their whole big mission in a different light. Plus, on top of all of that, that Cas and Jack conversation is an exact parallel of the conversation the two of them had about Cas making his deal with the Empty back in Season 14. Cas told Jack not to tell Sam and Dean, and Jack never did, even though his life is at risk. So Cas telling Sam and Dean about Jack now, knowing that Jack kept that secret for him, might break a certain level of trust between the two of them, and I don’t think Cas would do that. Which brings me to my second and, in my opinion, more likely theory.

Cas is about to tell Dean about his deal with the Empty. While this would also be a huge bomb to drop in the middle of this big fight, and in the middle of all this chaos, it technically doesn’t directly correlate with their fight with Chuck. However, if something does happen to Cas, that’s something that Sam and Dean do need to know, because it’ll affect how they handle things and what they do, in a lot of ways. At the same time, I feel like, if Cas is gonna do a whole “go it alone” thing, it’s important that he tells them before he leaves, because there’s no telling what could happen, to any of them, when they’re not all together, and being as open as possible before separating like that tends to be a good idea. It seems like Cas might finally be learning.

That said, I could be wrong all around. It could be neither of those things. It could be both of those things. Honestly, there’s no way to know for sure until we get to next week. However, after a crazy ending like that, I am definitely looking forward to seeing what Supernatural has in store for us next.

Skam España - Season 2 - Episode 1, Clip 6: Las amistades peligrosas

Hey you! Finally, we’re finishing the first episode! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, go check this post; here you go for the first clip and here for the last I posted, the fifth clip.

Well, let’s go for a 7 minutes clip (prepare yourself a lot of time, it’s going to be long, but like LONG).

Hi everyone! Today we’re here for a new tutorial: “How to prepare yourself for a date with your crush?”. I’m sorry, but the music and the fact that it almost takes 30 seconds of the clip is clearly here to take it with humor, and tbh, I live for this shit.

“Nah.”

What I love is that it’s so accurate. For example, we all screamed to our mother to not go open the door for the person ringing (what I mean is that it’s great because the viewer can immediately relate to Cris).

Another touch of humor, we discover she tried, like, A LOT of sweater. I mean, at this point I can’t say anything but that I love Cris. (Oh, and poor teddy bear who doesn’t know his fate yet.)

“Breathe, you’re great.”

The music stopping and coming back and stopping again when the door closes, the teddy bear and this face. You don’t know how much I’ve laughed with this clip; everything is meant to be funny.

“Now is the moment of your life.” god this song xD

Look at her breathe out again, I love her (and wow, this door is... dark).

Yep, you’re right my dudes, she checks her out.

No but more seriously, look how chill she seems. The chin is high, hands in the pocket, her shoulders are opened, and I mean, this look (+little bonus for the left raised eyebrow), 100% confident; BUT I can’t help myself thinking that she must be freaking out internally (we can notice the movements (swings maybe?) she does with her body, most of the time, we let out our “anxiety”, our stress with these kind of gesture, so yeah).

“Hello, I’m awkwardness! I’m the one who makes you pose as a dummy. I’m sure you’ll love me!”

“OMG THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS A DUMBASS, AND SHE IS CLUMSY AND AWKWARD AS FUCK, MARRY ME ALREADY!” (I’m sorry, sometimes I think I’m funny even if I know I’m not.)

“I hate myself.” (relatable btw)

Everything in this clip is brilliant. It’s such a funny way to show something real and still be accurate. I’m sure we all had the opportunity to see ourselves in Cris at the moment, this clumsiness/awkwardness; I’m sorry but I’m a gay mess like Cris, I’m just happy to have my representation. (Oh, and the little “vale” from Joana is cute af, it’s not awkward or anything, it’s perfectly in character: confident but reassuring)

Okay so… the next sequence is like… we’re going to have a lot, but when I say a lot, I mean A LOT of things to say, because these two are a fucking goldmine. What I’m trying to tell you is that we’re here for a loooong time together (but I’m sure deep down you like it).

Cris being like “Okay, does she like my room? How does she react?”

Btw, her room is like, wow. They really did a good job with the decoration. Yes, I know, we all saw it, the “LIPS”; “KISS”, I know. Oh, and I love her laptop. I’m sure I can’t see a lot of references but, yeah, we already have too much to say x)

I love how Joana is looking at the entire room. Joana is me. I already said it in other clips, but Joana “sees” thing, she is observant (to me it’s a quality).

I’m so bad at catching it, but Cris’s reaction at the length of the film kills me. Plus, am I the only one laughing so hard as she tries to do small talk? xD (which btw doesn’t work at all because Joana doesn’t complain about the film)

Joana, a complation: Confused Joana – “Meh” Joana – Shocked Joana.

God… This face kills me. More seriously, at the moment, they really aren’t on the same wavelength. Cris complains about the film, when Joana just says she likes it. Cris’ all reaction is really interesting. It’s like the “typical” teenage reaction in front of a school work, but at the moment, there’s also this need to just- say something; because she’s like this, she’s the one who talks for the sake of talking. She talks without really thinking about it; but let’s keep this for later okay? (Oh, and yes, Joana’s gaze, but it’s going to be like that in the rest of the clip so…)

Some teasing. I like that. There really is a chemestry between these two that I love. I like how Joana is like “Oh I see, she’s going that way” and Cris is completely in character and is just “pitching into” her, in a way? (trying to translate a french thought in english is a disaster, believe me).

Thank god, I like to see some repartee. It’s so fluid, you need to remember that they know each other for literally, 2 DAYS, and we already have this kind of complicity. Brilliant.

Look at these happy girls.

I don’t know how to interpret the fact of Joana’s smile slowly fading and then her gaze quickly going back to the laptop, as if she was realizing something or I don’t know. It’s impossible to catch it in pictures, but just look at her after the joke. Plus it’s hard to interpret it because we have a “jump cut”:

We see her smiling and looking at Cris. So… I don’t want to misinterpret things so I’m just going to shut up and continue. Even if maybe (and I say maybe because the rest of the clip proves me wrong until the end), there’s Eloy and the fact that she knows she shouldn’t get to close from Cris even if she wants to.

“Guys, you’re annoying, I’m on a date.”

More seriously, the filming is pretty nice; we have the camera moving from a shot where we have both of them to a shot with only Cris and her messages, maybe to show that she doesn’t pay attention at what is Joana doing anymore (which also means that the rest of the time she was indeed paying attention at every single movement of Joana).

To support my thoughts, when her mother interrupts them, we come back to a shot with the two girls; she isn’t “captivate” by the messages anymore.

Little bonus for the “please Mom don’t say something stupid, don’t ruin this” face.

I live for this shit.

Joana still being a meme + the iconic “My friend heard you” because it’s so fucking accurate (don’t lie, we all said it once + send some love to your mom btw, she deserves it, even if most of the time she embarrasses you).

Joana’s face be like “I was laughing, but I’m trying to not show it because I know it’s already awkward enough, so I’m just going to smile and be reassuring.”

“Stay chill. Don’t panic. Don’t panic. Stay calm. Stay fucking calm. OMG is she really doing this? There’s so much tension. Send help. Please.”

I’m sorry but the “We’re good with what we have.” ? I don’t know if it’s the exact translation, but it’s so ambiguous. I love that.

“Don’t show anything. You’re not destabilised. Stay chill. WtF the TeNsiON. I’m FucKiNG DEstaBiLIsed.” + Joana clearly looking at how Cris is reacting, she’s such a tease (not in the bad way though, I’m not insulting her calm down). Yes, don’t worry, I didn’t forget. BOLD+1500.

Come on, just look how proud she is, while Cris is dying internally xD I’m dying too btw.

Some interesting body language though, the fact of Cris trying to get back her shit together by sitting straight and Joana having her chin really high and her shoulders open; it clearly shows who is at ease and who isn’t imo x) + (yes there’s a lot of things happening) Cris crossing her arms in front her is a way to “protect herself” (not from Joana, but from the overwhelming) and most importantly to “control” herself and kind of find a way to seem more confident or at least not affected.

Cris coming back with her small talk and Joana being like “Yeah, act as if nothing just happened, I saw you panicking anyway.” But more seriously, it’s interesting to see that Cris is a fucking mess. I mean, she tries her best to sound and appear confident, but FUCK she isn’t xD And btw, one of Cris’ most important characteristic is her joking all the time to get rid of every “problematic” situation (it’s not something bad, but I don’t think it’s good either, as we could see in the last clips).

Joana just laughing at Cris’ “joke” and not continuing the conversation is me in 90% of the interactions I have with people (but it’s not what’s important). The most important is that, in a way, it reinforces the fact that they still aren’t really on the same wavelenght, and I think Cris can feel it because of this little look:

It’s also clearly a moment (before this look) where Cris is trying to get back her composure + this little look is there to check if Joana is still in a “teasing mode” or not with her (I think); but tbh, I don’t feel a lot of awkwardness in all of this.

Her phone saving her, just look how fast she grabs it xD (Nope, I didn’t miss Joana’s thing she always does with her nails/fingers, don’t worry.)

Yes guys, you’re used to it now, this is “worry”; not the BIG worry though, but the mouth dropping a little, the eyes openning, the movement backward. It’s not a lot, but it’s here.

“My crush or my friends?”

Joana, baby girl, it’s not really allowed to look at someone else’s phone/messages. She is so sneaky xD

But yes, a sweetheart.

(I don’t talk a lot about the movement both girls do with their legs, but, well no, I don’t want to say it’s “anxiety” because in the moment it’s not, but it’s still a way to let the “pressure” out, you know? I mean, we all do this kind of things unconsciously when we are with people, especially when we “like” them. Anyway.)

Joana smiling as she looks at the bowl (+shaking her head) because Cris just placed it between them is PRICELESS.

Btw, Cris not answering for a party is… wow? I mean, they didn’t place all of this in this clip for nothing. It allows them to show that Cris is maybe, yeah no, clearly interested by Joana. It just reinforces things.

Cris’ little glance at Joana (did I already say she’s clumsy? No? She’s so fucking clumsy and I love that).

Joana noticing the glance, but she doesn’t glance, no no no, she STARES guys and we’re here for this shit.

She notices Cris’ discomfort and embrassed smile, but keeps staring.

And then we have THIS; but this time, there’s nothing awkward, to me it’s just really cute. Oh, and of course, all this dynamic with their glances and stares shows even more that Joana is way more confident and at ease than Cris.

(I’m wondering if it’s really acting or just Tamara and Irene messing around, trying to hold a laugh and just being two dumbasses. Nah, I think they’re just amazing at representing simple things. Yes, I’m having a debate with myself, just keep reading!)

That’s cute.

Look at this proud and happy Cris. We’re finally seeing her a little more at ease, her chin is higher and her shoulders starts to open, because yeah, during the past 2 minutes (more or less) we have her shoulders really tensed and closed with her head really low, kind of forming a “protection” around her; but now yeah, she’s finally relaxed thanks to Joana being all the time so chill, smiley, not awkward and reassuring in her own way.

2:50 of the clip and I already have 23 pages on my Word. We’re not even at the HALF of the clip, I’m already dying. Anyway, I already haven’t said a lot of things but everything is brilliant, so let’s continue and start having some real conversation between these two.

FIRST. How did these two end up in this position? One of the other mysteries of Skam España.

A thought just like that, before this shot the movie was only a music, whereas here we have a conversation; maybe it’s showing that Cris finally pays attention too what is said (I don’t know).

(Little disclaimer, I never read “Les liaisons dangereuses” (because yeah, it’s French) but I tried to understand the story to be sure that I’m not missing too many things about what’s going to be said. Anyway.)

Look at how Joana seems so interested by the movie, so “in it” (French thoughts sorry). Plus, I think it’s the first time we see it (it’s going to be recurrent later) but she plays with her necklace. It’s the first time they want us to notice that necklace btw. We know that the movie is about relationships, love, etc… and the particular moment they’re watching is important because it’s a “““break-up”””. I find it interesting to make her play with her necklace at this specific moment because it’s one of the first hints about BPD. She feels more affected than others by this kind of scenes.

And YES, Cris’ stare. Plus, we go from this shot to this shot:

Here we literally have Cris’ point of view, what she sees + this close shot gives something really intimate. I love it.

She can’t stop staring, that’s… wow.

Cris looking back at the laptop. It’s not really an embarrassed smile though, there’s nothing awkward here. Yep, Joana looking at her lips.

Joana shaking her head in disbelief is the entire fandom in front of Cris being a gay mess. CRIS’ SMILE THOUGH. And yes, there’s NOTHING awkward, that’s super cute I’m dying.

“Is she really…?” (I love how the close shot, which represent intimacy, is thrown away and we come back to a larger shot when the mother interrupts the intimacy)

“Yes, she is…” + Joana being a cute adorable dork when she laughs + thank you for giving us some representation with our periods! (and yes, I’m not that surprised by this situation, my mom is literally the same.)

SO MUCH COMPLICITY I’M DYING. DO YOU HEAR ME?

(yes, Cris is looking again at Joana, but come on I can’t put every gaze in picture xD) The famous “No puedo evitarlo”… Let’s be completely transparent; this whole clip is a HUGE foreshadowing for their entire relationship, and I’m here for it.

Cristina “seriously?” Soto Peña or Cristina “I’m judging you; a lot” Soto Peña, choose your fighter.

Disappointed Joana (+ a bit annoyed).

Btw, Cris dropping her opinion on the characters with no argument and just saying that he is a son of a bitch and that she is an idiot, is so much in character + “I would tell him to fuck off”, well darling… you won’t... and you will, in a way.

What I love about all of this, is that this clip is here to show what is Cris’ vision of love and relationships at the start of the season because they need a starting point to show how much she is going to grow through this season.

Still “not impress” Cris, and yes, another hint for Joana’s BPD (the fact of not being able to control the feelings, even if in this case, it touches everyone and it’s just Cris who doesn’t realize it. It’s hard to act coldly and we have here another characteristic for Cris and Joana, they’re different on this point, we have a more “mature and rational” Joana) + It’s really discreet, but Joana glances many times at Cris lips (yeah, that’s it).

OUF. Disappointment. Again. It’s really hard to catch Joana’s “annoyance”, but her rolling her eyes at Cris’ joke is priceless. They really aren’t on the same wavelength (at least, for the movie, they really are at ease with each other, but not on their thoughts/belief). Oh, and Cris still joking about everything… (though, I think it’s just her way to “flirt” maybe) just let’s keep it for later.

“No, I’m serious” and we go from a wide shot to a close shot. Joana brings back some intimacy; the shot makes the viewer understand that it’s going to be important in the next seconds. Brilliant.

And oh wow… we never saw Joana like that before. The head is forward, the jaw is a little clenched (what I mean is that her mouth is “hold”, it’s not dropping), the gaze is straight ahead, the eyebrows are a little frown, and maybe the nostrils are a little wider (not sure) + the tone is- I wouldn’t say “harsh”, but there’s still some anger/annoyance behind it + the big annoyed sigh before she starts talking + the gestures/movements she does with her head to reinforce what she says, they are quick and short (btw, when she said “the count is a son of a bitch”, the movement with her head says no, she doesn’t agree with what she says, yes guys, the details, it shows a great acting too) + the “right?” to end her sentence. She’s confronting Cris, no jokes allowed; and tbh, I like that, I like this part of her character.

(Okay, maybe you’re right, having such a deep conversation about love at the first date is a little bold; bold+1502)

(Just look at when Joana sits up) she was smiling, and now we have… a destibalized Cris (yep, again). I like how she looks up, a little to the right, it means that she’s really thinking about it + yes, she’s clearly avoiding Joana’s gaze (it takes her 6 seconds to look back at her). Oh, and I LOVE how the camera is moving between their two faces. When Joana talks, she is in the shot because Cris is looking at her; when Cris is talking and NOT looking at Joana, we only see her on screen, but when she finally looks back at Joana we have this shot :

I already said it no? BRILLIANT.

Yep, Joana seems “calmer” (good job, you see, you’re making progress!); the eyebrows are a little raised, the mouth is slightly curved, and wow, she’s like, really listening to what Cris is saying, just look at her eyes, she’s so attentive.

Look at Joana slowly starting to smile again, we see you girl. Oh, and Cris thinking she’s bad and talking about her grades starts to show some insecurities, even if she’s joking about it + she’s right even if Joana doesn’t confirm it, there’s revenge in the story (and btw later in the season too, so much foreshadowing).

I don’t know why, I just like this shot/scene in general. It’s intimate, they’re really listenning to each other (those gazes god…), and their conversation is pretty deep.

I love how they “exchanged” the shots, let me explain; now, when one of them is talking, we have the camera focused on the other, we literally see how they’re looking at each other and it means so many things: the most important isn’t their face anymore, it’s the words of the other, it’s how they’re touched by them; it’s deep because what we see on screen is Cris (okay), but it’s also Cris “seeing” herself react to Joana, how she feels about Joana’s words (you see? Yeah I know it’s really far from just looking at the body language, and maybe I’m completely misinterpreting, but it’s important). GOD I REALLY LOVE THIS SHOW BECAUSE IT’S BRILLIANT.

Oh, and on a more “down-to-earth” analysis, the frown shows that Cris is really focused, she’s attentive, even if her eyes and the curves of her mouth are more like “I’m not sure I’m following you.”

God… on close shots like this, so many things are happening; when I said “goldmine” earlier, I wasn’t joking guys; I really invite you to do the same, just take the time to look at the details (if you noticed the little eyebrows relaxing, and then raising really quickly; and her mouth opening a little and also relaxing around the words “happy/love story”, I’m proud of you!)

“I don’t really agree with you, honey.” The raised but at the same time frowned eyebrows, and the little movement of her head shows “surprise”, or more like “um- wait.”

“But what kind of love is that?”, thank you Cris. Wow… finally we have Cris having a deep and serious talk. And I like her vision of love (because yes, she has one!); she doesn’t understand the point of suffering: “all the count does is make her suffer”; we have a really sweet and soft Cris here.

Lips again, it’s getting redundant baby girl + when the camera was moving from Cris to her, she was already looking at her lips.

Exactly the same face from earlier, still in the “confrontation”, but this time I also see a little more “disgust” maybe, or “disbelief” (the mouth is a little more opened and the eyes are wider) but in my head it means some kind of “are you serious?” but weaker (you know? God, I really don’t have the level to do this kind of things in English).

I don’t know how to interpret the return to this shot; but I think it’s because they want to include these two in the same shot because the “when you love someone, blah-blah…” will have a real meaning for both of them later in the season, because they will both suffer of the absence and of being ignored by the other. And YES, Joana queen of foreshadowing.

I’m not talking a lot about what is said, because I don’t really like this vision of love. I know that suffering is a part of it (but it’s not love which makes you suffer, it’s how you deal with it) and that Las amistades peligrosas have a really “complicated love story”, but to me, it’s clearly not healthy. Maybe it’s love, but not the “good kind” of love, you know? Also, OF COURSE, it’s a new hint for Joana’s BPD; they suffer way more than others when it comes to not being able to spend time with people they love + all this conversation shows “something new” about Joana; I mean, it seems that she way more experienced than Cris about relationships, etc.

(Yep, Cris is a little taken aback by the “and?”)

To me, Joana’s face means some kind of “You really don’t understand what we’re talking about, don’t you?” (but soft). It’s like she’s trying to find something on Cris’ face or in her gaze (it’s really a feeling I have, I don’t know why? what? how? I just follow it and I don’t think I can interpret it; I only can notice it and share it with you).

Lips, AGAIN (and yes, her head is leaning forward). And this time, yeah, Cris was staring at her eyes she can’t have missed it; and guess what?

“Let’s look away and try to talk about something else” (yes, you’re good, you noticed that Cris’ mouth is way more opened, congrats! A little before she moves her gaze, you can see it slowly opening, even maybe her chin “trembling” but it’s really discreet).

(Do you realize that that there are so many things happening each second?) When Cris starts talking, Joana’s chin quickly rises, kind of a “come back to reality” – LIPS. AGAIN. – “What is she talking about?”.

Okay, that’s cute.

But with this joke, we come back to a wider plan; the intimacy and depth are gone.

Wait, I just realized this now but, look at their legs, they are SO close, omg.

“Oh, maybe I was wrong, my future wife is brilliant.”

Again guys, find someone who looks at you like that when you’re talking + this “Sí”; I’m dying + on the shot before Joana looks at her lips (it’s not surprising anymore) + just look how attentive she is, it’s really cute + yes, we’re back with the “intimate shot”, and the fact that we see the reaction of one girl when the other is talking.

“Excuse me, what?”

Look at her, she is so unconfident about everything she says, she can’t believe Joana likes her idea.

Yep, we’re back with that. “I said it just to say something”, one of Cris’ most important caracteristic. She thinks what she says isn’t important, or serious. Joana is, right here, the only one who takes what she says seriously. We thought that Cris is someone really confident and everything, but with this first episode we already have A LOT of hints showing that she maybe doesn’t have a that strong self-esteem as we thought, and this is a really important point.

Joana, queen of reassurance.

Can she be cuter? Come on, that’s amazing she’s so proud of herself, thanks to Joana. They already have so much “power”/effect on each other. 2 DAYS GUYS, 2 DAYS. And, yes, close shot again, we keep jumping between intimacy and “normality”, it becomes more and more fluid and natural between these two (I love this show so fucking much).

“Vale”- “Vale”; just go dig my grave.

And OMG we’re playing again with the shots, Joana is looking at Cris and then we have this:

And then the camera isn’t moving anymore, we only have cuts to show each girl, the rhythm is a little faster.

No but more seriously, I can’t catch the reaction in one picture; but the mouth and the smile dropping in the blink of an eye + her eyes widening + her body slowly going backward and raising a little.

The funniest is that we don’t see Joana at the moment, we only see Cris’ reaction and it only gives more “suspense”. This is BRILLIANT.

The camera moving with Joana, WHILE she looks at Cris’ eyes + Her gaze shifting between her eyes and her lips + Cris being completely somewhere else, trying to look away; she doesn’t process at all what’s happening.

This is cute, but at the same time I can’t help but laugh and I don’t know why xD (it’s not awkward though). Yes btw, bold+1550.

THIS. It doesn’t last long, but wow… There is so much intensity; and at the same time, it shows so many things about how they both feel. Cris is completely lost, her mouth, her jaw and her eyes, she has no control of it (wide eyes, mouth a little open; you can see this expression even more before the eye contact, because there Cris already had a little movement with her chin, kind of realizing what’s happening) + she doesn’t move at all.

At the opposite, we have a “determined” Joana, she knows what she’s doing; I mean, everything is in her gaze + the mouth and the jaw, she has a total control of it + well, she is leaning, like LEANING forward; and we stan.

This is cute; these little smiles, it takes all the rest of the awkwardness away (and there wasn’t a lot left).

It’s hard to describe everything, so I’m giving you some leads: Joana doesn’t have a lot of things to say here, her face isn’t moving a lot, everything is in her eyes, and of course some movements with her lips. On the other hand, Cris is WOW; her eyes shifting all the time and her mouth are SO EXPRESSIVE; take your time to look at everything, because in what? 5 seconds, there’s a lot.

(I’m wondering if the smile is maybe more Irene than Cris, because it quickly goes back to something a little more “apprehensive”; just a thought like that, no real analysis just a feeling.)

This last gaze… at this point I just let myself be carried by so much intimacy and tension.

Just a quick remark, it’s not a secret but Joana is so much more at ease, because Cris really can’t “stabilize” her gaze and keep the stare as Joana does.

And yep, we’re back to the same situation than in the second clip. We have Cris who immediately breaks the connection, while Joana stays in it. In any case, I don’t know if she really was ready for a kiss (let’s wait 3 long weeks now xD).

When I first watched this clip, I wasn’t really surprised by the mom coming; I mean, they didn’t make her interrupt them multiple times for nothing.

Oh, and bold+1600 just for remaining so chill and keeping this little smirk during all the “leaning forward” thing.

“For fuck sake.”

We stan a queen rolling her eyes 24/7 – We’re used to it now guys, worry, again. Her face is really like “No come on, don’t tell me you’re leaving.”; that’s cute.

(Okay, quick remark again with the shot, we have Cris’ pov who’s looking at Joana, blahblah, you understood.) A lot of people think “Now we know it, it’s Eloy texting her, she knows she almost fucked up and she’s just fleeing”; and I’m not so sure about that. First, yes of course, worry and annoyance: the worry is here with the openned mouth just before and the huge breath she takes, and annoyance, with the loud sigh, the thing with her lips, her eyes and the cold “I have to go”. Here is my opinion: if it really was Eloy, that she was supposed to meet him for exemple, why would she had asked Cris to watch the movie, perfectly knowing the length of it? No, I think it’s maybe her parents asking where she is, because maybe she hasn’t told them she was out because her reaction is close to a “I’m screwed” + a quick reaction and decision like that, I think hints again for BPD (when I say hints it’s stupid because it’s just her reacting to the world around her, but I think you understand what I mean).

Cris being so desperate: “Already?”; “Um, shouldn’t we finish the movie?”; it’s cute though, she doesn’t want her to leave, but damn it’s so clumsy xD

New aspect of Joana, she is a little destabilized and we don’t have her usual confidence. She is really avoidant with a quick, low, and weak “yes”; she is already grabbing her jacket, kind of fleeing Cris. A messy excuse “I’ve already seen it” (why are you here then? xD I mean, I know it’s not a lie because there’s a chat about it, but it just makes me laugh) + her voice is “different” you know? Yeah, really, we have a completely other Joana here.

“Fuck.”

“I’ll walk you out”, Cris really tries xD

And damn we really have Joana “pushing her away”; it’s like in the blink of an eye, she completely changed even if she’s really polite and everything, and it’s brilliant

+ Here (pictures) we have Joana with the joke and this cute smile which gives her back some confidence - but then we have the other gaze with all the “composure” she tries to keep fading again.

Some hope with the “Well, I’ll see you on Monday, right?” + You even can see (before the picture) on Cris’ agreement, we have a smile forming and she seems so relieved, that’s cute (an yes, close shot on Joana, so Cris’ pov).

Fuck, those pupils.

Cris’ emotional journey be like:

“What the hell just happened?” – Queen of eyes rolling (god, this sigh).

“It’s so unfair!” (her eyes shifting everywhere, kind of processing the situation) – The most interesting face, because I’m not sure how to interpret it. I hesitate between two things: a movement to bite her lips or cheeks or whatever; OR it’s a “common” movement, we do this kind of thing when we’re speechless, when we want to talk but nothing comes out, as if our mouth follows our thoughts but our throat doesn’t; it helps us to regain our composure in away (+ there’s so much frustration; again, all of this is here to add some humor).

We have a movement backward, to breathe a little, to let things out; and just look at this adorable gay mess, she’s so cute + “Well… at least we spent some time together, it’s not that bad…” – “Fuck, of course that’s bad! I hate my life.” + Cris closing her eyes as the ending screen comes, come on, stop being so on top…

What I love with this clip is that it tells us what’s going to happen (they’re going to have the “No puedo evitarlo” and the “don’t you love me?”; they’re going to suffer; Cris will go through all the stages of what she calls “idiot” here). It just allows us to have a starting point for Cris and Joana’s growth through the season; and this is brilliant. And yes, we are fucking clowns.

Anyway, we finally finished this first episode! It was long, but so interesting to do. We already have so much information about Cris and Joana, that’s brilliant. Again, a quick reminder, I don’t pretend to be an expert or whatever, I just share with you my thoughts, and of course there must be a lot of mistakes and I’m sure I forgot a lot of things.

I’m going to take a little break with Skam España, which means that the next analyses won’t come soon, and I’m pretty sure I won’t do all the clips because it takes me too much time; but yes, definitely, I’ll write other reaction, don’t worry about that!

I rewatched Eternal Diva and this time I took notes as I went through

Dive under the cut if you dare to experience my mad in-the-moment ramblings (warning for spoilers for pretty much the entire prequel trilogy)

- Don Paolo’s voice sounds like what Papyrus’s voice probably should

- Winter Layton is precious in that giant coat

- Janice is so pretty omg an angel

- Layton geeking out over the Detrogan is goddamn adorable

- I love how everything is greyed out in Janice’s flashback

- Suuuuuuuuper subtle indication that maybe “Janice” seeing how young this little girl was is what prompted her to find a way to put an end to this whole thing

- Whether it’s a moped or the Laytonmobile, Emmy drives like crazy XD

- Bitch you ain’t on Top Gear

- God her big sister relationship with Luke is adorable tho

- Aaaaaaaaaaaah Layton smiling at their banter dad’s so happy for his son

- They did such a good job reusing the game’s music for this movie

- The opera house looks so cool but so precarious – my first thought upon seeing it was “when is this thing going to sink”

- I MEAN IT’S ON A CLIFF

- Janice’s voice is so pretty TToTT

- I like that they kept the Japanese vocals for her singing

- SONG OF THE SEA-SHADOWING

- I hate that Layton and Luke were the ONLY people to honestly applaud the performance. Everyone else is a DICK

- First time I saw this dude, I thought “that’s a puppet, no ordinary person moves like that even in animation”

- Once again, Layton putting a polite and gentlemanly spin on “fucked if I know, my dude”

- Lol I love that even the people who didn’t applaud and thus apparently knew what they were in for weren’t down for dying

- Fuking cowards

- Layton is always DTF (down to fight)

- GROSKY OF THE YARD

- FUCK YES

- This dude’s manliness is infectious

- “Gee, I wonder who’s behind this-“ *Descole’s theme starts playing* “-oh well never mind”

- Honestly who else but Descole would be this fucking extra tho

- Gotta admit I love the twist of the opera house being a ship, I was totally expecting it to just go plunging into the ocean at a moment’s notice

- Aaaaah the CG in this movie is really well done

- Layton’s angry face is kinda ridiculous but I love it

- I love that it’s pointed out like “where tf did all these sharks come from”

- I prefer Cartoon Saloon’s Song of the Sea, but this one’s pretty too

- Lol as if a MAN-EATING SHARK could keep down GROSKY OF THE YARD

- I’m surprised he can see over the top of his chest hair

- God, the detrogan is such a cool instrument and I really wish something like it existed irl

- Ah, it’s only like fifteen sharks, Grosky will be fine

- I love the air of mystery surrounding Oswald Whistler

- Layton’s hat is made of 100% pure uncut husband material

- AAAAAAAAAAAAAH I LOVE HOW PUZZLES ARE USED IN THIS MOVIE IT’S SO GOOOOOOOD

- I’m so glad they didn’t scrap it entirely coz I mean they’re so integral not only to the Layton games, but Layton himself

- This music box tune kinda gives me Gravity Falls vibes tbh

- I think the backing melody sounds pretty identical to the tune’s intro

- I love that this movie actually lets us see inside Layton’s head and his thought process, it’s so much better than just having him put everything together seemingly offscreen

- Tbh any puzzle where “the night sky” is the solution is bound to be a good puzzle

- I just fucking love the implied MASSACRES in this movie

- God Luke is so goddamn precious

- Pffft pumpkin dude is so subtly duplicitous

- Okay I have ot pause for a bit to rant about layton’s design because it’s SO GOOD. Warm colours make him seem welcoming and kinda comfy and the simple facial features, while a bit Ditto-esque, do combine nicely with his overall shape to scream “friend”. Professor Layton is friend shaped. And of course there’s the popped collar to show that he’s cool, the high collared shirt gives a scholarly vibe, his shoes which I stg are plimsolls show a practical side and of course the quintessential top hat shows that he’s a Gentleman first and foremost. Add the amazing voice to that and BOI I DIE

- Although I can’t help imagining that gif with the teddy bear slapping eyebrows onto its face to look angry whenever he gets mad

- Luke is not friend shaped. Luke is son shaped.

- Precious bab shaped

- Wpw a sea captain I would never have guessed other than the “sailor” accent and the fact that you’re wearing a sailor’s uniform

- Ugh I love these quiet moments where things can sink in and characters can just talk to each other, I really wish more movieswould do this

- I love that even if you don’t have a literal look at his thought processes, you can still see Layton THINKINg

- Agh Amelia is SO CUTe this series is so good at designing beautiful women and cute girls while also making them look DISTINCT

- I like that they hinted at her intelligence by having her solve the puzzles by herself

- One advantage a film has over the games is that the visual novel format kinda limits the dialogue, coz it’s hard to convey one charafter talking over another

- I really like the side characters. They’re simple, yes, but they don’t really need to be complex

- I will admit that the limits of Layton’s simple facial features means it can be hard to tell who/what he’s looking at sometimes…

- “that man” asked me to write an opera, huh

- WHY DOES NOBODY ASK WHO

- Fuck descole’s theme is SO GOOD

- WHERE DOES HE GET THE FUNDING FOR ALL OF THIS THOUGH

- And Grosky boards the ship just in time for it to blow up XD I love this dude

- I can only imagine his gigantic pecs act as a flotation device

- Layton preventing Luke from looking at the exploding ship THIS MAN IS SUCH A DAD HE’S SO GOOD

- I love this scene with Emmy investigating because these parent’s appearances are just enough to make it ambiguous whether they’re Nina or Amelia’s parents

- Seeing them all wrapped up in blankets is kinda cute tbh

- LET. THEM. SLEEP.

- I wonder what Layton uses to keep his hat on?

- Lol Emmy pushing a fossil aside to look at the map

- I can only assume, given that they set off from the White Cliffs of Dover, that this island is SOMEWHERE off the coast of mainland Europe in about the same region as Spain

- Ugh I LOVE Emmy’s uppercrust accent, the fact that she sounds like such a refined lady is such a fun contrast to her literal arse-kicking

- Also this is totally BBC news lol

- I love the detail of the historian’s scrapbook being kinda hodgepodge with bits falling out

- And I love the Ambrosia Seal being super detailed but the subtle incorporation of a sheet music design

- Gotta admit I totally thought this little banquet was poisoned on my first watch

- Lol I love that pumpkin guy just KEEPS POURING THE WINE

- Ugh that beach looks SO PRETTY, I want to go there

- Janice is totally crushing on Layton, pass it on

- D’awwwwww luke trying to befriend ‘melina’ is SO CUTE this boy must be protected at all costs

- Layton how did you hear what she was humming from all the way over there

- Why do so many anime characters have inexplicable super senses

- Those wolves’ eyeliner is on point lol

- “I’m not built for running” lol mood

- FUCKING HELL DESCOLE WHO IS FUNDING ALL YOUR SHIT

- HOW MUCH DISPOSABLE INCOME DO YOU FUCKING HAVE

- Admittedly on my first watch I wasn’t as familiar with descole’s theme, but I saw that castle and I just thought “it’s descole, only he can be that extra”

- The twist of using the cages for personal protection rather than to trap the walls is simple, but so clever

- I love that Mr Whistler was one of those accidentally trapped outside. Keeps suspicion off

- And I love Layton saying “well that solved PART of our problem”

- YOU SHUT UP LADY THE PROFESSOR IS AMAZING

- And then he trips and falls lol that’s what you get for wearing old man shoes

- “Even a good gentleman needs to get some exercise!” pfft

- Oh hey, they found the starter house that Descole was using while he was building that castle. I wonder what texture pack he’s using?

- And here Layton puts MacGuyver to shame in the most Ghibli way possible

- I’d love to see someone try to build this thing XD someone call the Mythbusters

- Bjut I adore how even LAYTON isn’t sure how this fucking thing works

- Yeah, these filmmakers were TOTALLY influenced by Ghibli

- This is so Castle In The Sky, it hurts

- The lack of background music in this scene is what makes it so perfect, the tension is so REAL

- Lol I love the historian just standing there like ‘welp there they go’

- God, I can’t even imagine the nightmare of having your memories overridden and personality suppressed

- Aaaaaaaaaaaand here’s the summation. I love this part in pretty much every Layton thing

- “Assisting you was the scientist, Jean Descole!” Descole: lol hi

- LAYTON YOU ARE SUCH A DAD I LOVE YOU

- Him being gentle with kids is so sweet

- Also damn this backstory is a lot. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a loved one, but I’m not surprised a father would do anything he could to keep his daughter alive

- “When did you realise I was involved” “ur an extra bitch who lives for drama, who else could it be”

- That brief bit of Luke without his hat just makes him look even more BABY BOI MUST PROTECC

- Okay real talk when did Janice get hold of the key

- I’m guessing it was in the commotion when Mr Whistler grabbed Luke

- SUCH A GOOD TWIST I LOVE IT

- My heeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaart goddammit

- In hindsight, the hint of Janice wearing Melina’s pendant was really subtle and clever

- GODDAMMIT DESCOLE CAN YOU STOP BEING EXTRA FOR LIKE TEN SECONDS

- It’s kinda cool that he’s an archaeologist too though. It really does run in the family.

- The way Descole and Whistler’s schemes intertwined was really cool

- Yeah, it just wouldn’t be Descole if there wasn’t some over-the-top machinery

- YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS MAGIC MUSIC THIS IS MY SHIT

- When escaping from a crumbling castle, do be sure to grab your boy.

- AAAAAAAAAGH THE SCENERY IN THIS MOVIE IS SO FUCKING GOOD

- Good lord, there it is. Descole just can’t function unless he has some ridiculous Humongous Mecha at his command

- This thing looks especially monstrous and I love it

- I don’t think I’ve seen ANY faults in this movie’s animation, jesus Christ

- Descole, did you learn nothing from the attempted excavation of Troy? It’s very possible that your efforts to unearth Ambrosia will be what destroys it!

- Aaaaaaaagh this flying scene is intense as FUCK

- Layton and Luke are SUCH A GOOD TEAM

- Also the lil detail of Whistler’s waistcoat being the same shade of purple as Melina/Janice’s dress

My first Kun imagine!! I love him so much, my little teddy bear aww :3

(Let’s just say that Kun is in NCT U here becz he was in Without U Chinese Vr. lmao... /cries/).

Here’s how he looks in this! /dies from cuteness/ :

You had been the lucky winner of being in an interview with NCT U together with 8 other girls. Your hands were sweaty and your heart up in your throat making it hard to breath and speak as you waited outside from where the interview would take place. All kinds of thoughts were running through your mind.“How do I look?”, “do I look presentable?”, “would the boys like me?”, “would my baby, Kun, like me?” all these sorts of thoughts kept occupying your mind, making angst run through you.

The other girls were having fun whispering things to each other, stuff like: “I bet Taeyong looks so handsome!”, “Of course he does! He’s Taeyong!”, “I hope Jaehyun will look at me!” and then Doyoung laughed. “omg did you hear that?”, “his laugh is so cute I just wanna pinch his cheeks!”.You wished you could be like those girls; all chattery and bubbly. Instead you were here having a mental breakdown and sweating and anxious.

Everything seemed to be so angst for you until you heard him laugh. That beautiful sound seemed to wash away your fear and you became happy and relieved. It was Kun. Your boy. His laugh could make the most depressed person smile and happy. Your eyes shone with happiness and love. You could just picture that beautiful smile that adorned his face, making his eyes light up. That was your boy. You couldn’t wait to see his beautiful angelic face and sweet, loving, and adorable smile.

The MC then started to talk about the fans that had won the price of meeting the boys, and the boys exclaimed with happy voices. Cold sweat and anxiety began to fill you again. You gulped down a lump in your throat and readied yourself. You looked around at the other girls. They had gotten silent and was just standing there stiffly, looking scared with eyes dilated and breathing heavily. The doors soon opened and of course you had to be the last to enter. All eyes were on you and you tried your best to smile and not seem faced with the sudden attention on you. You were overly happy to be there of course, but you were incredibly starstruck and didn’t know how to act. You shook your head and smiled more believable now and waved.

The MC greeted each of you and you bowed respectfully. You tried to keep your attention on him and on the fact that The NCT U were looking at you and waiting to greet you too, yet you kept the smile on your face. Soon the smile became very genuine and then it didn’t want to go away. Who could blame you though? You were meeting your idols; your dream had finally come true.

You went on to shake hands with the members and you felt your heart crying in your chest. You shook their hands and looked them deep into their eyes; you had to savor and appreciate this moment now that you had the chance. You were smiling all over your face and giggling, but that was until you had to shake hands with Kun. It was like everything just stopped. You were standing right in front of him now and wow did he really look better in real life. His eyes were so beautiful, shining with happiness, making you smile. Kun smiled widely back at you and you giggled smiling back at him.“Annyeong!” he said, and you blushed madly, but said hello to him too. You let go out of his hand, even though you didn’t want to, and went over to your seat.

After you were done introducing yourselves the real questions came and you began to grow nervous. You stole secret glances at Kun all the time, but you also caught sight of him staring back at you. Your eyes widened, and you looked away quickly, but not after you saw him smile shyly. Omg, what’s going on?

“So! Now, lets start with a question we’re all dying to know the answer to!” the MC started, and you knew very well what that question was. “Who’s your bias and why?” You knew it.

Since you were the last one to enter, you were of course also the one to answer all the questions, so you sat there nervously fidgeting with your fingers as you heard all the other girls saying who their bias was and how they were their bias because they were so amazing and hard working. You were so nervous, because of the fact that you knew this question was going to be asked, you had prepared a little speech, so you were sure to give the correct answer. Since you always seemed to malfunction when attention was on you, it was only convenient that you had. So, when the MC pointed at you, and asked you, you straightened up and took a deep breath and giggled when the other members smiled sweetly at your shyness.

“Well, my bias is you, Kun oppa. And the reason why, is because you’re such a kind person; you always make me smile and feel happy. You always make me feel loved and appreciated. I’ve always had a hard life with bullying and teasing in school, making me hate myself. But when I got to know you through v lives and other livestreams, I began to feel happier. You are always so happy and cheerful, even though you don’t say much, it’s still clear that you’re there, because you ooze off this comfortable and relaxing energy and atmosphere. It’s just great, really. I know I’m not there at the livestreams, but I can feel it through the screen and I can see it on the members. Also, now that I’m here and I meet you, I-I can feel it too. And it makes me the happiest girl in the world to experience it…” you were on the edge of tears and you had to take a small break to calm down before you could continue. “I-I love you Kun. You made me love myself more and I don’t know how I can thank you enough. I-I just… th-thank you. For being there for me…” you couldn’t help it anymore and a few tears fell.

It was silent for some time after you had finished talking, and you didn’t dare to look up. You really just needed someone to give you a hug, but that most likely not going to happen. You heard a few footsteps coming over to you and crouch down in front of you, but still you didn’t look up. A hand reached your chin and tilted your head up, and you looked into Kun’s warm and beautiful brown eyes. You sniffed as you gazed into his loving eyes and a small smile crept onto your lips. His smiling is contagious. “I love you too, baby girl. I’ll always be here for you, don’t ever doubt that, okay? And please don’t hate yourself… you’re so beautiful and amazing, those kids just can’t see it. You’re gorgeous, okay? And if anything happens to you, you just go to them and say “Kun will beat your ass if you threaten me again!” okay?”

You couldn’t help but giggle at the last part. Kun was such a sweet guy and you loved him so much. You nodded your head as a response. “See? That smile there makes you so beautiful and I can’t believe I’m your bias, because… you’re so amazing,” Kun said as if he was in a daze, looking all over you. You blushed and looked down, but looked up again and smiled again which made him laugh and then you laughed along.

Kun smiled and nodded approvingly and stared into your eyes. You thought for a second that he was going to leave, but then he surprised you by hugging you tightly against his chest and leaning his chin on you shoulder right where your head meets your neck. Your heart skipped a beat and you felt a happiness so strong go through you that you felt like crying. This was what you needed. You needed a tight hug from Kun, and here he was giving it to you.

“See? You’re always there for me. you always make me feel happy, beautiful, and appreciated. Thank you so much for that and… I love you,” you told him as you hugged him back and leaned into his embrace. It felt so nice to be in his arms. You felt so safe and secure. He was so soft and warm it was like hugging a teddy bear, if only you could hug him to sleep at night too…Kun let out a shy giggle and released you from the hug much to your sadness.“Of course, I am. I’m your oppa, remember?” He said smiling again, and you smiled back and nodded. “I’ll always be there for you. Plus, I love you more, princess.” You heard the crowd coo at the cuteness of this séance you two were having now, and you both blushed madly. This ruined the mood and Kun had to go back to his seat, so the interview could continue.

The rest of the interview went by smooth with all of you smiling and grinning and having a good time. When it was time to leave, all of you went out the same way you came in, but now it was different, since the members went out with you. You had all made a little bond with them, so now you were walking towards the exit with Mark. You were having a small talk about how everything was going with the fanbase and you told him how we were doing great, and maybe you might’ve added that we make all kinds of weird videos with them, like crack videos and edits. He laughed and blushed and shook his head. “Of course, you are.” He said and you both laughed.

Before you exited the building, you felt a tap on your shoulder and you turned around.It was Kun. You felt your heart clench happily at the sight of him and you smiled widely. “Hey, what’s up?” you had gotten way more confident ever since the talk you and Kun had at the start of the interview, so you talked livelier to him now. “Hi, umm… I just wanted to say goodbye properly before we go both ways… and I also just wanted you to know that I hope you’ll feel better about yourself soon… because seriously, you are a really gorgeous girl,” he confessed shyly and scratched the back of his neck. You were completely starstruck, but you quickly pulled yourself together and took in his heartwarming words.

You giggled, and it made Kun look at you with a perplexed expression. “What?” he asked and chuckled weirdly.

“It’s just because, you’re so thoughtful and kind… thank you for caring so much about me… I never thought you’d come here and say goodbye like this… but I’m happy that you did,” you explained, and your cheeks went hot. He smiled happily at you, and it warmed your heart to the point where you thought it would’ve exploded.

“Of course, you’re my girl,” he shrugged, and gave a shy smile. You thought you were about to cry, but you tried to hold it in, so you just let a laugh that could’ve been mistaken for a choked laugh.

“I love you so much,” you whispered, and tried to hug him, but held back because you weren’t sure he wanted to. He giggled when he saw what you wanted and pulled you in for a hug. You rested your head against his shoulder and took in all the comfort and kindness he put into the hug. When he released you from the hug, he looked around worriedly, and secretly gave you a note. You got the memo and received it unnoticed. He smiled and you both went outside. You said goodbye to all the other members and you went your own ways.

When you came home, you sat on your bed and opened the note to see what it said, and your heart nearly beat out of your chest.It read:

“Hey sweetie… you really made an impression on me today… and so I thought it was only right that I should give you this… here’s my number xxx xxx xxx xxx <3 please text me when you get home and tell me if you got home safe! It’s very important to me, haha… :3 <3

Love, Your Kun. <3”

(True stories about Tiny Evans:

Once, when I was about four years old, mom let me play in the bathroom. She later came in to find the entire bathroom flooded…I hadn’t bothered to turn the water off and just kept playing calmly in the middle of the mess XD she says that when she asked me what happened, I was just like “Mommy, the rain came down from the sky…”

And once mom bought me a tiny Beauty and the Beast doll, with super tiny accessories (I was probably around five years old). I was playing with the doll on the bed. Then I decided to lie down, holding one of the doll’s tiny shoes in my hand….I dropped the shoe and it went straight into my nose 0.0 When we went to the hospital they couldn’t get it out (they gave me a nosebleed trying) and then they said I should have surgery.

Then we went to a different hospital. The doctor took a look, told me to lie down, and then got it out in a few seconds (…)

And I was also super attached to my toys when I was little. I’d refuse to let mom wash my favorite teddy bear because I thought the washing machine would hurt him, and I hated it when people shoved my toys away into a toy box because NO the dollies can’t BREATHE if you do that)

Yeah, I think that most kids have a bratty side to them XD some kids are worse, though. One of my little sister’s friends once kicked another boy because he kept playing with my sister instead of her…like, literally kicked him in the face. The poor kid was just coming down the slide, she was waiting at the bottom and kicked him 0.0

I wouldn’t give you time to cry. If I must suffer, Queen Luna must help me…maybe you could distract them with snacks?

Can you imagine what would happen if Evans and Kimblee got in a fight, though? (assuming that Kimblee does ‘like’ Evans enough not to kill her.) Because I just realized that if Kimblee got blood on the carpet I’d definitely be mad- I’m an almost Levi Level clean freak in some ways. If the carpet was white not even a Philosopher’s Stone could save him. And if he brought the dust, dirt and ashes from his explosions into the house with him I’d probably feed him to Pride.

Also have you heard the theories about how Shirazu’s probably going to be on the next volume cover?

If Mutsuki kills Yomo I’m really going to start hating TG. (though tbh it feels like he might die here ;-;)

Touka…I don’t like her and I really don’t like all this Touken stuff but I don’t want her to die, because I think that if she did, Kaneki would just go right back into his angsty “I want to die in style and sacrifice myself” mode…and that would be bad.

(Speaking of Touka though:

I read a theory on tumblr that Juuzou might be the one to kill her if she does end up dying. Like, a while back Ishida wrote a poem for Juuzou where he's trying to decide whether to kill a cat or a dog- when he chooses, there’s a line about a ‘rotten womb’, suggesting that the animal he killed was pregnant. The poem ends with Juuzou thinking that it really didn’t matter in the end, because he himself was going to die anyway.

Mutsuki called Touka a cat several times back in the chapter where they fought, so Touka=Cat, the pregnant animal Juuzou killed, and Kaneki=Dog? So Juuzou might have chosen to kill Touka and spare Kaneki, who was once his friend? And Kaneki kills Juuzou to avenge his wife?

I don’t think this is going to be canon and I don’t WANT it to be canon (it would be too much for my feels), but it’s interesting)

And I'm still waiting for the moment Shuu finally decides to confront Kaneki about that night on the L.E building

I seriously wish we could date Delora, Jurien, Parfait and Emelaigne, though. We could trade Rod’s route for one of them? (again, not that I don’t like Rod but I feel like a Delora or Jurien route would probably be WAY more interesting than his)

I can’t even use ‘Evans' in Otome games, that would be really embarrassing…I mean, even with Reader x Character fics, I can’t bring myself to use my own name so I always read the Reader’s name as literally 'YN’ in my head XD

Queen Luna/Karma would be the best though. Karma probably thinks you’re the most beautiful, amazing person in the history of the entire universe.

-He often asks you for book recs, will always give you his honest opinion of them once he’s done reading

-likes reading with you better than that, though. Just cuddling together while he reads over your shoulder or something (idk I feel like Karma would like books)

-does your makeup for you. Not if you don’t want him to, but if you ever have to go to a party or some big event…he’ll insist (and do a great job of it too).

-of course he goes shopping with you and helps you pick out clothes. Then he insists on buying all the outfits that look good on you (though of course, in his opinion, that’s everything you try on)

-he’ll try to help you remember things and keep track of your stuff better, but even if you still forget he usually remembers. Will find whatever it is you lost and hand it to you with a playful smile, teasing you a little bit (he honestly thinks it’s cute)

-he’s immediately interested when he hears you used to learn archery and will ask you to teach him if you can still do it. In exchange he’ll teach you how to use a sword if you want him to (if you say yes he won’t go easy on you, but will always be impressed with your efforts and will be sure to compliment you and tell you how well you’re doing)

-if you two ever have to go to some social event, he’ll quickly notice if you’re feeling overwhelmed and will lead you away into a quiet corner, where you can just have some calm, private(ish) time together, talking about your day and watching the people around you.

-I think Karma likes sweets too (there was that thing with the Chamaeleon cupcake and I think I read another line about him eating cake in the game? not sure about it though) so he’d probably buy a bunch to try with you and would think your obsession with them is adorable

-he teases and flirts with you a bit, and doesn’t mind if you tease him back. However, if you ever flirt back at him, it doesn’t matter if it’s bad or cheesy- he WILL end up blushing. He’ll try to play it cool but the blush is just too obvious

Nope, don’t even try with Fairy Tail, unless you’re really into magic and guilds. The tasteless Fanservice and lack of plot make it infuriating. The only reason why I stuck with it was because I wanted to see my OTPs get together (THEY DID N O T)

Ah, I’ve heard of those... a bunch of manga I read go on hiatuses all the time as well, so I don’t think I’ll mind ^^ I’m still not sure, tho, since it has 387 chapters and that might take time to catch up (hah, i once read 130 chaps in one day, but that was a special occasion XD)

YEP, Bertl’s death (still crying). So the (I think) comic went like this: Armin has eaten Bert, and Reiner was captured and he looks at Armin, obviously realizing what happened to Bert and breaks down crying. Then, in one final act of defiance, Bert’s conscious manages to suppress Armin’s for a second and tells Reiner that he has nothing to apologize for. I cry.

I can’t wait for Ragnarok *^* More Loki, more Thor, more Marvel!!

Just. I honestly have no idea what to think about TG anymore... The things that happened lately have been pretty hard to stomach and so many things have been left unresolved. And all the death flags and the fact that Yomo might lose to Mutsuki, despite being canonically stronger than them. Tbh, I think I might just drop it (again XD)

I seriously can’t wait for you to play Waltz’s route :3c Lol, Waltz’s bad end is the anomaly! ((SPOILER)) The only bad end where the boy character doesn’t die, yet is the worst story-wise ((END SPOILER))

I really want to meet Llama XD I mean, if he’s Karma’s brother, he must be fabulous σ(≧ε≦ｏ)

Technically, Fritz’s bad end isn’t too different from the others, I just like Varg too much XD

That’s one of the reasons why I’ve adopted the name Luna XD No embarrassment. But I once watched an anime where a character had the same name as me. Not only that, she also looked a LOT like me and we shared a few personality points. It actually made me pretty happy. And then, later, I found out that a part of the fandom shipped her with my, at the time, favorite character. I could never read fanfiction of the two without getting embarrassed XD A significant portion of the fandom hates her, though, even though she didn’t do anything wrong other than, surprise, ‘interfering’ (???) with a popular yaoi ship. (Since her x the character was implied canon). Long story short: Luna gets embarrassed watching anime.

Y’know at this moment I’m incredibly glad I physically don’t blush. I have pretty severe diagnosed anxiety, like a lot of different kinds. I have diagnosed clinical ocd, diagnosed depression, and diagnosed ptsd. I take medication for them though!

I do! It’s nice, and I like how my eyes look with eyeliner, it brings them out. I’m also irish so I’m naturally very rosy and blushy and I like the even skin tone I get from makeup. Also, the acne. But it’s only on rare occasions I actually wear it, since I’m pretty bad at it and I’m just comfortable without it
