I’ll say one thing that writing Of Sins,Scars, and Secrets has taught me today, it’s that sometimes it really DOES take three to four episodes (chapters) to write a scene you were absolutely sure would fit into one.

I never thought I’d be that person to write a 60 chapter fic but given that I’m working on 18 chapters in and am maybe a third of the way done that suddenly doesn’t seem like a bad estimate, though following that line of reasoning my three planned KisaIta chapters might turn into 6 or 7 by the time I’m at the point I need to be for the plot progression. How I’m going to work that huge chunk of novella in I don’t know but by gods we are going to try.

Perhaps I’ll actually have to make a series for it. I’m hoping not but we will see. I may dismantle it in a few side pieces that ties everything together in bites. Personally I like the eclectic mixing pot style (especially since that’s how Naruto canon is) but there’s so many damn pairings that are all tied up in the plot that even I lose track of when we were last over here or there lol (though IRL time does not help that. Binge re reading it it seems fine but I’m biased)
