(via Silver set Jade pendant, natural green stone jewelry)
If you live in British Columbia you have all the right to collect Jade by the rivers or anywhere where the property doesn’t have a claim. Within an hour’s drive from Vancouver along the banks of the Fraser river jade is an abundant stone specimen among many agates, jaspers and various minerals.
This jade however comes from further north, from the place it’s known from the TV show Jade fewer which was acquired by the pound directly from the quarry. The pendants are designed and set in our shop, cut and polished with lapidary diamond wheels.

Endymion and the Shitennou in bracelet form
Tumblr media
Finally I have all 5 of them🥰
A couple of notes:
1.) I know my photo editing skills are bad but I wanted them to be present😅;
2.) I couldn't find any Blue Jadeite Jade that I could reasonably afford so I got the Pink variety to also symbolize his relationship with Sailor Mars;
3.) On a similar note, I couldn't find any red or orange Nephrite Jade so I just went ahead and got the regular green one; and
4.) I assigned my birthstone bracelet to Endymion because of his relation to Earth (The blue planet) and the Golden Crystal and the Golden Kingdom (symbolized by the Pyrite).
This is just for fun 🥰😂😁

A possession to be cherished by anyone who can find it, buy it, or steal it: Jade
Jade is a possession to beCherished by anyone who canFind it, buy it or steal it.—Pearl S. Buck Nephrite jade hippopotamus with diamond eyes by Carl Faberge (Walters Art Museum) The terms jade and nephrite came to be used interchangeably until, in 1863, a French chemist discovered that jade was actually made of two distinct minerals. With this discovery, the terms jadeite and nephrite were…

tending to my overgrown yard for the past 2 years has been nothing but rewarding in the long run. it's very meditative and is my way of showing my gratitude and love to mother earth; with every poisonous plant i remove, trash i dispose of, every garden i dig and add plants to, every clover and violet i let grow until the flying critters are done with them, i show my thanks and love to every being around me.
i'm very, very excited as i've finally got all of my starter plants into the ground, and am ready to start decorating my garden space with crystals and lights. i got some nephrite jade on the full strawberry moon and charged it up so that it can provide an energy of growth, expansion, a strong earth connection, good health, and nourishment to my garden's aura and being 💚🍃🪐🦋🐛

My country is one of the famous Hetian jade producing areas, mainly concentrated in Xinjiang, where fine amphibole mineral crystals are fibrous and intertwined to form dense aggregates. It all has a waxy sheen and is pure and creamy. Its shape is a complete circle. Compared to other beads, the making process is simple. The addition of "round" means "complete", which has a good connotation. The tiny amphibole mineral crystals are intertwined in fibrous forms to form a dense aggregate, so round beads are also more popular in the big market.
ZH Gems has a professional service team to solve problems for customers. Nephrite wholesale, welcome to inquire.

Casually lurking in Sailor Moon fandom and when I see posts mentioning the Shitennou's knightly titles, I think the translation are off. I don't know if those are just fansubs being wonky, or if even the official ones are not entirely correct...
I've also seen some posts say that "I don't understand what these means". The knightly titles are based on the image and properties associated with each gemstone in Japanese (so, if it has different meanings internationally, it's quite beside the point).
Jadeite: Knight of Resilience 忍耐 and Harmony 調和
忍耐 is often translated as "Patience" in fanworks. 忍耐 is better translated as "resilience", "perseverance", or "endurance". Even when colloquially used to say "be patient", the connotation of it is more along the lines of "endure this". The Harmony one is correct.
"Resilience" is because jadeite jade is the harder jade. "Harmony" because of its traditional usage in spiritual matters, so jade in general has the image of "peacefulness".
Nephrite: Knight of Wisdom 知恵 and Peace 安らぎ
This one makes me kind of laugh because of what Nephrite is like as a character/person. I almost always see 知恵 translated as "Intelligence". It's not wrong per se, but this term here refers to something deeper than just brain smarts, thus "wisdom". Things like wisdom that come from age, or innate perceptiveness, and so on.
安らぎ is peace, as in "inner peace". Basically, "serenity", though it's probably not a good idea to use this word in Sailor Moon for obvious reasons.
Nephrite being the native jade of China, it has been given very sagely meaning to it that persist even in Japanese symbolism. That's why it's like this, for somewhat similar reasons to jadeite's "harmony".
Kunzite: Knight of Virtue 純潔 and Benevolence 慈愛
純潔 can also mean Purity or Chastity. 慈愛 is sometimes translated as Affection, which is also not entirely wrong. It's just that the standard meaning is benevolence or mercy. "Affection" tends to be used in the context of parents and children. In this context probably not the best meaning to use.
This gemstone is associated with the Holy Mother Mary, of all things, that's why it's got very saintly imagery associated with it.
Zoisite: Knight of Purification 浄化 and Healing 癒し
The most straightforward one so I've never seen any wonky translation with this one. Those who are into healing crystals might already know this, but this title is based on the healing and purification qualities that a blue zoisite/tanzanite supposedly have.

I want to stay optimistic, but I don't have much faith that the HOTD writers will go through with any of the messages in the Dance aside from misogyny. Obviously, misogyny plays a big role in the Dance because it is the means to and end for the Greens, but the way the show focuses on this to favor Rhaenyra's claim and rule and this sort of diminishes the complexity of the story. By making it so that one side rightful, righteous, chosen by some divine powers, etc., etc. and one side that is perverse and corrupted and only there for greed, it takes away from one of the most important lessons in the Dance: Targaryens are not a divine superior race that should be exempt from the rage of common men that suffer at the cost of them.
(Also, ik ambition was a major motivator for the Greens in the books, but the books didn't try to frame Rhaenyra's right to the throne as God-given)
You might have already guessed, but the part of the dance I anticipated the most was Targaryens who perceive themselves to be divine and superior take the realm to shit fighting over a throne that neither of them actually deserve. They fight at the cost of everything and lose everything for a throne that neither of them keep for long because they are both inadequate rulers that rely heavily on their respective councils. When they make decisions on their own, their nearly equal incompetence shows because Aegon's choices are emotional and stupid and Rhaenyra's are paranoid and stupid. These are the people that cause the death of the dragons.
It feels like the show is trying to appeal to those stans that bend over backwards to defend their fave tyrants and believe the throne is a rightful possession of the Targaryens.
