Visto che alla Rai fanno schifo i soldi e non ha caricato il documentario, vi scrivo quello che ricordo su ciò che hanno detto Dardust e Noemi parlando di Mahmood. Dardust dice che "Soldi" è nata in 2 ore, dopo che Mahmood "con molta umiltà" (cit) gli chiese se potessero fare una session di scrittura insieme, per definire un po' il suo progetto artistico visto che non ne aveva ancora uno. Alessandro aveva un po' lo scheletro del testo, ma niente per quanto riguarda la parte musicale e Dario dice che è stato super naturale scriverla, infatti ci hanno messo pochissimo tempo. Dice anche "Soldi" ha rappresentato un punto di svolta per il Festival e la musica italiana, dimostrando che si può scrivere in italiano, ma con dei suoni completamente innovativi e internazionali. Il famoso "clap clap" era una cosa che Dardust faceva durante i suoi concerti e suggerì a Mahmood di inserirla, anche per coinvolgere il pubblico. Noemi dice che Mahmood ha completamente riscritto i confini di come si scrivono le canzoni in Italia; lo definisce "fraseggio alla Mahmood" e dice che in moltissimi hanno poi iniziato a scrivere in quel modo, o a provarci, dopo Sanremo 2019.

While others were concerned with canoodling and 'cuffing' (whatever that was), Henri and Noemi were putting their minds to better pursuits. Henri's frail form walked up the path, their daughter following behind them with two one-gallon buckets of blood. She assisted them the last time, as well. Noemi assisted her father in harvesting it - horrifyingly, from themself.

Perhaps she should have been used to their strange behavior.

"More of your soldiers?" she asked.

"Naturally." was their response.

The two arrive to their destination soon enough, the same clearing in which they had resurrected Adhocs 22, 41 and 15. Even though it had been weeks since that initial spell, the entire area around the resurrection site was still dead. There was not a single blade of grass, chirp from a bird or living tree. And in the center of the clearing was large gray spot in stark contrast to the brown dirt around it. And in that gray spot... was a crack.

They both knew exactly what to do, Henri taking their position just in front of the crack and Noemi slowly trailing the blood around the edge of the dead area. As they stretched their hand over the crack, Henri channeled all of their magical energy into it.

"Answer my summon, O' spirits three. I call your names: Malik Khasuranav, Zayn Castelleve, Arjun Khasturavi. Adhocs 47, 32, 18. Heed my orders and rise once more."

The crack grew, as did the gray area. Life was sucked out of the surrounding woods - animals dropped dead and leaves withered. A couple going on a walk nearby aged until they were nothing but a pile of bones.

Henri's blood began to move in straight, uniform lines right toward the crack. And as the small opening to the underworld filled, three pairs of hands pushed the crack open wider as the imposing figures climbed out.

Henri swayed for a moment, drained of blood and magic, falling over. The three caught them as Noemi rushed over.

"...Were we dead?" The oldest, Zayn Adhoc 32 started.

"I think so," the youngest, Arjun Adhoc 18 finished.

"Why are we back?" the third, Malik Adhoc 47 asked.

Noemi looked over her father, biting her lip. "I'm not sure why they wanted you back, but... Maybe they can explain once we all get home, okay?" This didn't happen last time... She'd have to remind them to wait longer between resurrections. "I'll lead the way, please follow me."

Thank you so much for putting up with me and my shenanigans this whole year whether that be on here, twitter or tiktok. I've experienced so much growth and community and for that I am grateful! I made new friends, found new avenues to explore, embraced my creativity and I can't wait to continue doing so in 2024. I've said similar last year, and I'm not so good with the mushy stuff, but here's a gift from me to you for giving me a platform to share a hobby (simming) that I experienced alone for almost 20 years, until now.
