Rules: Put your “on repeat” playlist on shuffle and post the first 10 songs that come up
I was tagged by @otpcutie (I don’t usually do tag games on any of my blogs but music is a “about myself” thing; but I’m tempted to cheat so I will probably reblog with a curated 10 songs from the same playlist)
Pray for Plagues - BMTH
In The End - Black Veil Brides (love this one)
Dying Wish - 畠中 祐
Never Looked Better - We Were Sharks (this is a LUCKY one, I really adore this song in the right mood)
Dark Side - Blind Channel
The River - Blues Saraceno
1x1 - BMTH feat. Nova Twins
Fight Back - NEFFEX (hehehe, nice)
Monster - Starset
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit (okay, this one is ‘hehehe, nice!’)
I’m not gonna tag anyone but if you see this post and want to do this, feel free to consider yourself tagged
Just to be clear, celebrating being aroallo isn’t celebrating being allosexual. It’s celebrating being aromantic and not asexual, something so commonly paired together. I tell people that I’m aroallo instead of just aromantic because people assume I’m aroace. Celebrating being aroallo is recognizing the difference between romantic & sexual attraction.
I’ve known I was aromantic since middle school, and I also knew that I was not and will never be asexual.
I stopped posting much about it after everything Aromantic began being linked with Asexuality around 2016; god forbid someone is physically attracted to someone but doesn’t want to be romantically involved; or is genuinely repulsed by it.
So I guess it’s nice to see the existence of the aroallo label after coming back to the Aro space.
this blog is getting followed by dozens of bots a day, and i frequently go on block spams to clear them. i try to be discerning when it comes to real followers, but some of y'all make it hard, so here's some tips if you don't want to end up blocked
change your icon. the easiest and quickest way to differentiate yourself from a bot. if you like the look of the default icons, you can use this to make something unique
change your blog title. even a keysmash is more human than "untitled" or "sem titulo" or whatever default thing tumblr gives you
change your blog colors. bots rarely have anything other than default colors
put something in your bio. it doesn't have to be personal information. a phrase like "new here, figuring things out" or "just here to like and lurk" or even "i'm not a bot!" will do the trick. it's the second best way to distinguish yourself from bots
reblog things/make posts. less necessary than the others. you don't have to reblog things or make original posts, but even a couple of either in conjunction with some of the above will make it easier for others to know you're not a bot
In my quest to figure out when fuck-heads started thinking singular they was a modern invention, I found this page that outlines in detail why 1) it isn't grammatically incorrect and 2) all the arguments against it are as solid as the air.
So, the next time you have someone going on about how "singular they is eroding the integrity of english", just wip this out this hand dandy reference.
I started up on a dating app recently, right? And I get all these guys with pictures of their dogs in their profile, and I'm fine with dogs, promise. But Im talking to my friends about it, and I start ranting, and I'm just, "I JUST WANT A KITTY CAT! WHY CAN I NOT MATCH WITH A GUY THAT HAS A KITTY CAT??? WHY DO I GOTTA MATCH WITH DOG PEOPLE? I JUST WANT A KITTY CAT!"
And my friends were like, "maybe you should stop looking for a man and just adopt a dozen cats."
So sorry for not being ace like y'all are. I happen to LIKE men, okay?
There are a lot of times that I do consider unfollowing the #aromantic tags and only following #aroallo because it’s so oversaturated with aroace stuff that it doesn’t feel like the tag is even for me (as someone who is specifically aromantic, and not ace.)
