Forever annoyed that "don't speak over marginalized people", the notion that marginalized people are already spoken over, and their oppressors need to actually listen and learn before speaking about complicated topics and need to do so in support of not OVER them, so quickly turned into "I'm not x so I can't speak on x issues". Like the "don't speak on this if you're not this" started out so well meaning because it was about people needing to actually take the time to learn before talking about issues they didn't previously understand! Now it's just an excuse for people to never learn about the issues minorities face or to actually stand up for them in any meaningful way
#forming an opinion is so natural and also important. you can't just stay 'neutral' on everything just because marginalized groups arent#a collective that either fully agrees or fully disagrees with something#you will always have 'lol im x and i dont care about bigotry' folks. always. always always always#you've gotta use your god damned brain and do what's right instead of going 'im not allowed to have an opinion on this'#it's literally just looped around to ignoring issues again. like saying 'racism is bad' isnt good enough when you stay quiet#when your friend is being racist because they're a poc being racist to another poc#and that situation is too 'unclear' for you#ive seen that happen a ton. fucking get over it. yes they're going to respond negatively to being called racist literally everyone does#get over that fear of backlash and stick up for people!!!#this is why radqueers are a plague. their entire stance is 'we dont care enough to think so everything is good and okay'#and has done horrible shit like spread RAMPANT misinformation about mental disorders such as DID#which makes life so much harder for people with DID. and all disorders as they get romanticized instead of actually understood#so the people with the '''bad symptoms''' get shunned#the amount of times I've heard horror stories of actual systems getting abused and forced into all kinds of shit because of endos.......#anyway neutral stances are for things that don't really hurt people or dont matter or#for when youre in the position of actually learning and forming a position#which in that case its meant to be temporary. temporary!!!!!#radqueers dni

okay i know the Discourse™️ has been going on for way too long at this point, but
i think some people outside of the OFMD fandom don’t actually get why we’re particularly annoying about this show
OFMD is not the first queer show to ever exist. if anything, it's a late entry in decades of queer media. over a year and a half since the first few episodes aired, everyone knows that OFMD is queer. that doesn't make it particularly special
but back in March? this is the trailer that dropped in February of 2022, 2 weeks before the premier. if you're used to seeing queer chemistry in shows that aren't intended to be queer, you might see the hints between Ed and Stede here. but to most people? it's just a silly little pirate comedy. just guys being dudes. the trailer doesn't even hint at the other 2 canonical queer relationships in the show -- the closest it gets suggesting romance is the music and the pink in the poster
Tumblr media
so when people watched this show in March 2022, they went into it expecting subtext and nothing else. to them, it was like watching Sherlock or Supernatural or Merlin in the 2010s. if you were in any of those fandoms -- especially Sherlock and Supernatural -- you know what it was like; constant jokes at our expense, being mocked for creating explicit fanwork, made fun of by the creators and within the show itself. if we saw queer subtext, that was our problem. this was a time when you pretended NOT to be in fandom, for fear of ridicule. we kept our fanwork to ourselves, we DID NOT share it with the cast, and we accepted that our favourite ships would probably never be canon. maybe one day, if we were lucky, we'd have a show where the subtext wasn't mockery as much as deliberate foreshadowing -- but that had to be YEARS away
right?
OFMD was never billed as a queer show, not in the beginning. there was no LGBTQ+ tag on (HBO) Max, it wasn't on anyone's list of upcoming queer shows in 2022, it flew under the radar through most of its first season. this was a show about pirates, and sure, some of them were queer. but not the LEADS. if you think they're romantically involved, that's must be fandom brain poisoning
except the 9th episode aired, and they kissed. and the show said "you're not crazy for thinking they have chemistry because they really do. it's been a romance this whole time". and in the 10th episode, Stede realizes that he's in love
(not mandating you watch this clip if you don't care for the show, but there's something that feels particularly earth shattering about no one saying the word gay but knowing that Stede's realizing he is, that it's completely unambiguous and explicit in a way that only straight romances are usually allowed to be)
this is why people freaked out about this show. no one knew. even the creator, David Jenkins, was surprised when WE were surprised that it was gay for real -- he set out to write a love story, using all the tried and true beats of a rom com. he'd never even heard of the term queerbaiting. he looked at historical Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet and thought "oh, there's something here" and just...wrote that, with very little fanfare, like it was inevitable. like it was obvious. of course Jim and Pam end up together. of course Buttercup and Westley end up together. what kind of disappointing ending would it be if You've Got Mail ended with the main characters just going their separate ways?
so of course Ed and Stede are in love
look, i get it. we're annoying and won't shut the fuck up about this show that seems mediocre at best. i watched the whole thing back in march, thought "huh, that was cool" and was sure that i'd forget about it in a few days
an hour after looking at fanart on twitter, i was lost in the fucking sauce
there's just so much to unpack from a mere 10 episodes. it covers racism, toxic masculinity, gender expression, sexuality, trauma and abuse. and i don't think we should overlook the fact that the non-white characters in this show get to be fully human in a way i haven't seen in my favourite shows in recent memory
additionally, most OFMD are 25 or older. we're not people who've been spoiled by queer rep, who don't get how hard it used to be, how you'd have to grovel for scraps, how shipping and fanfiction was a way to find queer rep where we thought there never would be. we've been here. we're annoying about this show because for a lot of us, it's the first time we've been treated like our queerness isn't an anomaly that needs to be relegated to its own section, that needs to be praised for the bare minimum of acknowledging that we exist. it's not pulling punches to avoid scaring away a straight audience. it just is.
OFMD for me is like when i watched Black Panther for the first time and realized that this is what white people felt all the time. have there been other black superhero movies? of course! does Disney fucking suck? BOY does it. but that was the first time i got to sit in a movie theater and watch a mainstream film that looked at Africa and said "look at how beautiful you are, exactly as you are"
and idk. i think that's really cool

It's time y'all.
Let's talk about HOBIE & RACE
- It is not problematic to say that Hobie would display black solidarity by finding black women in specific attractive.
- It is not problematic to say that Hobie would possibly like a partner who could understand his experiences with racism.
- It is not problematic to say he would possibly like a partner who understands how to take care of his hair, or shares the same hair texture.
- It is not problematic to say that Hobie would find beauty in features specific to the black race - when we have been told those features are undesirable in every way for centuries.
We gotta talk about how Colorblindness is forced on Black Characters - Hobie in Specific
Y'all - it's time we have a VERY VERY overdue conversation about Hobie Brown and Race.
Because it is a necessary one.
Tumblr media
Hobie Brown, The Black!Reader, & Representation -
aka Black people are not Colorblind - and neither is Hobie Brown -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[let Diane hop on the mic right quick Chile]
Stop acting like Black Fictional Characters would be colorblind.
Black people can't be colorblind, because our color is weaponized against us from birth. We HAVE to see race - because we have to protect ourselves and know our own history
So when we decide to make spaces specifically for us - spaces where black people and black women in specific can be desired and uplifted, I don't see why people have a problem with it.
Hobie Brown loves, yes. But he also lives in 1978. Racial segregation was outlawed in his country in 1965.
Hobie Brown loves, but he's also a black guy who grew up under racial segregation and racism. He's a black guy who fights cops.
The Writers made Spiderpunk - The Spiderperson who fights oppressive cops - black for a REASON.
The Writers chose to have a black guy save Miles for a REASON. To uplift black people.
Writers here on Tumblr made Black!Readers black for same reason.
If Black Lives Matter doesn't mean White Lives Don't Matter -
Then 'Hobie Brown finds black chicks especially attractive' DOESN'T mean 'white women are unattractive'. This isn't about y'all.
And even for the people that say Hobie would like ONLY black people - okay??? They can say that - it's a literal headcanon.
It's not true if you don't want it to be. You don't have to believe it.
But seeing Black people be protective of a black character, and making black content for other black fans - and then saying 'what - stop that. that's wrong. break this up so I can join'
BEFORE you question why they do it - NOT COOL.
That's like asking for more Captain America in Black Panther. Like ?????
That's like hearing a Riot Grrrl say 'All the women to the front!!' and going 'Uhh, all genders are equal, why can't the men stand in the front too?'
Like yes, all genders are equal. But also - This isn't about them. It's about representation.
Stop preaching equality when we're asking for representation.
Cause there are dozens, hundreds, of white characters who only have white on-screen romances.
And their fandoms do not write black!readers. They do not care enough to say 'oh the show isn't representing this, let us do it.'
The media nor the fandom represent black women. They are an afterthought, always.
And you never see posts for them like -
'Dean Winchester loves black women. Dean Winchester loves latinas -'
When it's a white character only dating white women, with xReaders that always imply whiteness, y'all never call for diversity. At all.
You wouldn't make this post for Miguel.
But when it's a black character and someone suggests they only date black women, or people begin to write xReaders that imply blackness instead of your default-
Suddenly you care about diversity.
Because the first time, you're not represented.
Because let's be honest. Let's be real. No one is writing Hobie x White!Reader. Barely anyone is writing Hobie x Latina!Reader.
It's the Black!Reader you have a problem with. Let's just say it.
Allow black people to have their space, without unfairly calling for 'diversity'.
(aka the right to access to black safe spaces, comfort characters, and labor)
Hobie is an attractive, educated black guy who fights and protects people from the aggressors we ourselves genuinely fear everyday.
He is a character like we've never had before. He has so much emotional weight to us.
Let us enjoy him as we please. We aren't hurting anyone else.
We're just not catering to you. We don't have to.
If a black person wants to center Hobie's love on Black people, they have the right.
And I'm not saying you can't write him with a race neutral or even a White!Reader. Go ahead and write that if you want but just know-
1) If you want to write him with an explicitly white or non-black reader - you should approach the topic of race. You should approach and mention the cultural differences. Him going through racism. Don't erase that because you think it makes your writing ugly or sad.
And if you don't put it in, your erasing the reality and black experience because you find something wrong or uncomfortable about it.
2) If you want to write a race neutral reader - make sure they're really race neutral. Don't include details about hair texture, hairstyle, or skin color.
3) If you are asking black writers for requests - do not get mad if they make the request Black.
You cannot get mad at a black writer for interjecting their own experience when writing about a black character. You're basically asking them to strip their blackness from their writing so you can enjoy it more.
Why should they have to second guess and dial back their blackness when we're expected to do that everywhere? If they want to take a break, and write Black!Readers they can.
3) Understand that the black people are going to keep their safe spaces. And they're going to keep Hobie in their corner.
Because honestly, and I'm going to put this brazenly:
Hobie Brown as a character - and what he represents - means more to black fans than it does nonblack fans.
Does that mean he doesn't matter to y'all? No, not at all. Hobie absolutely holds real emotional weight and meaning to you on multiple levels.
But please understand, for black people - we connect to Hobie on an emotional, often trauma-fueled front.
One that you'll never understand.
There is a level that we connect with him on that nonblack people can't. As a dark skinned black guy, a black guy with natural hair, an alt black guy,
As a black guy who has canonically faced police brutality on-screen
Tumblr media
To you, this screenshot is most likely Hobie flipping the camera off, edgy and punk. It's funny, tongue in check. ACAB and all that.
To us, this screenshot is of Hobie - a low income black guy - being physically restrained by police and refusing to stop even when they're taking his mugshot. It's a black guy openly flipping off the police and fighting them off and refusing to go down no matter how much they beat him and he's winning YES
After so many videos over SO many years of cops doing that to black men and them.. not winning.
And them just dying and us having to watch. And add another name to list.
When you see his laces, you most likely think ACAB.
When we see his laces, we see that he's a black man who took on a cop and lived to tell the tale. Which is a RARITY.
Because many of them lose the battle.
For us, the context and connection are completely different.
Fanfiction may just be a way for you to kiss up on random characters or comfort yourself, but for us - that's not the case.
For us, fanfiction is a way to show our experiences and features in a media and world that has collectively ignored them. Shunned them, called them ugly.
Maybe make a post or send an ask to a creator - and ask what Black!Readers mean for them, why they find it important.
Hobie Brown likes Black Girls.
He finds them beautiful. He likes wide lips and broad noses and kinky hair. He loves melanin, and brown skin in the sunlight, and seeing a them in a silk bonnet in the morning.
He loves not having to explain his culture, sharing coconut oil and shea butter. He likes seeing waist beads. He likes people who speak AAVE, with twang in their talk.
He likes ghetto black girls with the acrylic nails. He likes Stallions 6 foot tall. He likes masc girls. And fem ones. He loves black nonbinary people because we do not have to cosign to colonialist ideas of gender. And he loves him some black men too - a good fade will make him go crazy, he loves men with long locs and pretty smiles.
Hobie Brown finds the beauty in Black People that have been erased and demonized again and again by White Society.
Hobie Brown holds blackness dear. And he wants black people to do well.
Hobie Brown loves Black People. Hobie Brown loves Black Girls.
And that's on, what?
Tumblr media
This has been a PSA from Diane Pastors. Y'all stay blessed out there 😌💗
Anyway what y'all wearing to carnival since we going to carnival and cropover and labor day with Hobie and bringing out all the flags. 🇧🇧🇧🇧 I'm bringing him to cropover in Barbados yeah I said it we're all going to carnival with him.

Kinktober: Monster Fucking
Fandom: Dungeons and Dragons
After months of adventuring with your party, you can't help but be curious about a certain dragon born....
cw: cisfem reader, Monster fucking, OC x reader, fantasy racism (someone is not nice to dragonborn), biting, slight mention of bleeding, fingers in holes
PART ONE OF TWO
a/n: A very special thanks to @tyga-lily, who talked with me about her little dragonborn and made me fall in love with this concept and to @saetyrn9 who came up with his name :)
Tumblr media
"The bath is free, Obi."
For how much a night costs, the room is nothing special, but any inn with running water is heaven sent. It’s been almost two months since anyone in your party has slept in a proper bed and your body can feel it. Simply wearing the silk of your nightgown feels luxurious at this point; sleeping on down is going to feel obscene.
"I'll be quick." Your party mate stands with a grunt, the day heavy on his joints. You almost want to tease him, but after this adventure, your knees are screaming too. It's hard enough for you to throw yourself on to the bed
Despite knowing him for the greater part of a year, you always forget how large the dragonborn is until he’s next to you. Towering over you with delicate horns and ridged crest, Obsidian Vyke -Obi, to his friends- is all black scales and teeth. The air crackles around him the way it crackles around all sorcerers, subtle yet wild, so it’s unfair that he’s also built wide. Thick biceps and a barrel chest: no magic user should be that muscular.
"Take your time." You watch him as he moves around the room, dipping around the singular bed and pulling his sleeping clothes from his travel sack.
"I'm sorry about this," Obi says, peering over his shoulder, "I know I'm not as nice to room with as Kiri."
The two other members in your party had been fast friends-- unfortunately, they were also quick to become lovers. Usually, that did not pose any issues to the group, but tonight, the inn only has two rooms available. It seemed cruel to separate the lovebirds, so you and Obi agreed to cohabitate for the night.
"I don’t mind sharing a bed with you." The idea gives you butterflies, this flitting, nervous energy. You trust the man with your life-- fuck, he’s saved your life in battle -- but something about sleeping next to him makes your skin goosepimple. "As long as you don't snore."
His eyes narrow in a smile. "I'll try my best."
The dragonborn undoes the lacings of his leather outerwear using the sharpened tips of his claws, delicately catching them under and pulling. The motion is careful and patient, repeated until he can toss the garment into the room's only chair.
It’s not that you don’t want to share a room with him. In fact, you think you want this a little too much. You're absorbed with all of his movements as he primps a bit, adjusting the hem of his shirt so it sits properly, running a palm over his crest, sliding off his traveler's boots. If you're lucky, his shirt will be next and you can catch a peek of the toned spance of his stomach.
"My lady," His teeth flash in the fire light, pearls against the deep, dark opalescent hues of his scales, "You're staring."
"Ah, I'm sorry!" He’s one to talk; you’ve felt his gaze following you for weeks now. That's the only reason you're thinking about him and his body.
And, using that logic, he's the only reason you bought that bodice ripper last week, the one starring a pretty red dragonborn and his human lover--
"Is there something in my teeth?" Obi teases. That earns him a giggle, but, when you don't respond, he exhales through his nose and moves closer. "We're rooming together tonight, so if there's any tension between us, I'd rather-"
"I heard a rumor," you blurt out.
He goes pale. "About me? What did Thyrll tell you?"
"No, about dragonborns in general."
Relief relaxes his features.
"And you just want to know if it's true?" There's a click in his voice as he laughs, something strange and inhumane, "It's okay. You can ask. Let me guess- I eat poor little gnomes? I enchant humans with my-"
"Is it... inside of you?"
The dragonborn pauses at that, eyes wide. "Excuse me?"
"Your..." You cannot believe you're about to say this, "Cock."
"Oh."
You scramble up, hands over your face as you head towards the door. You aren't sure where you're going to go in a nightgown, but anywhere else has to be better than here.
"Oh, I'm sorry! That was so rude of me."
A wall of muscle suddenly blocks your way. Those dexterous hands that you were admiring moments ago are now touching your shoulders, rubbing up and down affectionately.
"It's alright, my lady, I'm just... surprised." He smells like petrichor, something strangely earthy and yet unnatural clinging to his scales, and laughs like summer rain, "I think it's natural to wonder about different races, I just didn't think..."
His sharp eyes are dilated a bit, the pupils closer to almonds than slits as they bounce up and down your body.
"I've had my own... curiosities about others as well," he admits, "So, who am I to judge?"
Your spine prickles at that. Who exactly was he curious about? One of the elves in your party? The barmaid downstairs? Or is it you that the thinks about at night, cock in fist?
The dragonborn misreads the upset look on your face. "I promise that I am not cross with you. How about I answer your questions and you'll answer mine? No judgments."
You settle a bit. "If you're sure."
He smiles a draconic smile, all teeth and the smallest flick of his tongue.
"Of course I'm sure. I'm not embarrassed because my species is a bit different than yours."
You watch him for a long moment. He’s kind. A scoundrel at times, but kind. It's etched into his face, always reflected in his wide, chartreuse eyes.
"So, it is different,” you say carefully.
"It is."
“Very different?”
“When my cock is hard?” He says it so easily. Always proper, it makes you squirm to hear him curse, “No. But when I’m not, it is, in fact inside.”
"It's just... flat down there?"
"Yes- give me your hand."
You weave your fingers in between his without a second thought, but he just shakes his head and pulls away. Then, he takes your still open palm in his and brings it to his torso. The muscle there is just as firmed as you imagined and it's hard not to linger in once spot to appreciate it, Slowly, Obi guides your hand down, running it over the linen of his pants. Underneath, you can feel how it's slightly ridged with larger scales than the rest of his body and, subsequently, larger gaps form in between. It's just skin-- well, it's just scales. You're touching nothing technically intimate, but your heart races anyway, caught in your throat.
"See?" His voice has the edge of a tremble and, when you look up, you realize just how close you two have become. Practically chest to chest, his snout is only inches from your face, close enough that you can see how each individual scale slightly shifts in color as the fire dances. He seems to have realized too; dragonborn expressions are hard to read, but you don't miss how deep his breathing has become.
"It's nothing like touching a human, is it?" he mumbles, hand squeezing yours ever so slightly, “Not intimate at all.”
"Well." You curl your fingers up, clumsily feeling through the fabric, "Maybe a bit.”
The fire crackles in the fireplace. He breathes again, on the brink of a sigh, and you think he’s just as caught up in this as you are.
"Just a bit?" Heat radiates from him. If he were human, it'd be alarming, but instead there's a comfort to it. You're still warm from the bath, and yet you chase that heat, slipping your hand from his just to bring it under the waistline of his pants.
"More than a bit."
He's hot underneath it all, almost uncomfortable to the touch as you explore the space blindly. His eyes haven't left yours, his lids getting heavy with every prod and poke of your fingers.
A vertical line of soft, exposed skin catches your ring finger and his body jumps reflexively as you accidentally dip inside of him. It’s strangely dry, yet much softer than the rest of his scaled body. Despite yourself, you explore it a bit more, pressing in the same way you’ll be playing with your own pussy tonight.
"A-ahh--" The dragonborn sucks in a deep breath and you can feel his abdomen crunch under your touch, "Be careful."
"Did I hurt you?" you ask as you pull away.
His chittering laugh returns. His hands rest on the small of your back, not pushing, but not entirely platonic either. When he talks, the air tastes like distant embers, just far enough away, yet not close enough, "You didn’t hurt me, don’t worry."
“Are you sure?” you press, “You made a weird noise.”
“Very sure,” He dips low enough to press his lips against the shell of your ear, "You’d do the same if I put my fingers inside of you."
This time, the heat is coming from inside you, twisting and pulling with want.
"With your claws?" You manage to joke through your suddenly dry throat, "I might cry."
"I could cut them," His voice is rolling and low as his hands explore, one traveling up your spine and the other dipping the smooth over your ass. When they both reach their zeniths, they switch directions. The silk of your dress catches against his skin, pulling it up and revealing the fat of your ass to the air. "Nice and short."
His nails dig gently into your skin, nothing more than a nip, a test.
"You’re so soft, all over. Your body just gives when I touch it,” There’s a distant tone to his voice as he speaks into the curve of your neck, “Too delicate for me, aren’t you?”
You hum in disagreement and his teeth prove you otherwise. It’s barely a graze, but the nip against your pulse point drags a whimper from deep within you. Your companion chuckles, then coos with pity as he does it again, much, much kinder this time.
“Oh, you’re knock kneed and sweet for me,” The already blossoming bruises are soothed by a warm, textured flash of wet. His tongue is rougher than a humans, longer too, and it leaves behind a string of spit that is more viscous than any human’s. “Like a fawn. My sweet fawn.”
The hand that once explored him is trapped in between your bodies, unable to move, but you can feel something against your stomach: something hard, something thick. Too much cock for your human body, but, fuck, you’re going to try.
“Bet you’re even softer down here.” A singular clawed drags over your bare ass, searching for underwear that isn't there and your body trembles with want, “Oh, look at that, shaking like a leaf. I bet you’d melt if I-”
A sharp knock at the door scrambles you two apart. A moment passes and the sound almost feels imaginary, but then it happens again. You smooth your still wet hair and try to gather yourself, heading to the door in a hurry. Somehow, the dragonborn is more flustered than you. His scales are physically ruffled and his usually stoney brow is creased. He can’t blush, but you swear you can see his face alight as you swing the door open.
There stands a familiar elvish figure, with dark straight hair and the prettiest of smiles.
“Kiri!” you exclaim. She’s a natural beauty, like most elves. All legs and sharp angles, she’s a good head taller than you, leaning over with almost a condescending grin. She’s so beautiful that you almost hate her for it.
“I am sorry to be a bother, rogue.” She speaks in Elvish and the dragonborn’s head tilts slightly side to side, like a dog who hears his name, as he tries to listen. “I came to thank you and the sorcerer.”
“Oh, yeah, no worries,” Your Elvish is unnatural on your human tongue, “We are fine here.”
“My lover thanks you too,” she winks and giggles. She’s over a hundred years older than you, and yet still head over heels like a schoolgirl. Elves might live for thousands of years, but they take hundreds to mature. “We will not be sleeping much tonight.”
You roll your eyes and pretend to gag, biting back a smile, but then Kiri grows serious.
“If he scares you, please let me know,” she continues.
“Obi?” you say, “He’s a sweetheart.”
“I’m sure he is, but those teeth! Like needles. Braver than me, sleeping next to a monster like that.”
You glance at your dragonborn and he looks away before you can meet his eye. A disappointment settles in your stomach. Monster is such an ugly word for a pretty man. Everything about him is charming and refined, from the way he speaks and the way he walks, to the way he shines his scales when he thinks no one is looking.
“That’s rude.” You’re quick to reply. Kiri grew up around only her own kind and their ideas-- she doesn’t always know what’s uncouth or offensive because of it, “Don’t say such awful things.”
“It seems like he’s already gotten hungry.” She jerks a chin to your shoulder. You reflexively reach to cover it, only to pull away when the spot feels wet. Blood speckles your fingers- not enough to warranty any worry, of course, just the slightest graze of the skin.
“That’s not--”
“I tease, I tease!” she continues, “I know it is just a scrape. Can you imagine? To lay with someone who is all claws, fire and untamed magics! I-”
The man in question stalks in between you two silently. With a towel in his arms and a chip on his shoulder, he stomps by with a snort of his nostrils.
“I’m going to bathe.” His Elvish is worse than yours, but it's enough to make Kiri’s face drop. The worst part is that he doesn’t sound angry-- you could deal with anger. Instead, he sounds heartbroken. “I don’t mean to be frightening.”
You both walk him stalk down the hall until he disappears around a corner. Kiri swivels to look at you, bewildered. “Since when does he speak Elvish?”

Understanding Lennon McCartney Rewatch Part 1.4
Oh, John. It's hard because I'm like “fame was not good for that man” but I'm also like “he would've gone crazy with self-loathing if he didn't have the fame.”
Tumblr media
John and Paul start to answer a question at the same time. John: no, go on, you can say it. They're seriously so married.
John's schoolboy flirting is cute, but what's more noteworthy to me is a) how happy Paul is to be shoved and b) how he instantly leans back into John. It's like they're bungeed together or something.
Tumblr media
John gets me. Look how much he loves Paul bringing out the forced confidence shield to protect him. He's so in love. So turned on.
Tumblr media
Here's my question about the death threats. Did the other Beatles actually receive them and tell Brian about them and keep them from John? Because that would be incredibly sweet and noble of them, but also, in that case, surely John received death threats too. Meaning he just didn't care about his own life and assumed the others were being left out of it because they hadn't actually said they were bigger than Jesus. Or did they have people filtering all their mail by that point? And Brian had been keeping the death threats from all of them? Because that could be interpreted as both protective and selfish of him. Does anyone know?
Tumblr media
Again. I just love how Paul goes to bat for John over and over during this tour. Batting his eyes and playing with his hair and shouting down any and all criticism of John speaking his mind.
Tumblr media
This moment is so telling to me. An interviewer who was up front at several concerts points out the looks and smiles between John and Paul which you can only see from the front and asks, “is it really that much fun every time?” The easy answer is, “Yeah. We like what we do. It's fun!” But Paul gets cagey. “Oh well the thing is you know with things like that it's probably…” and he makes up a bullshit story about messing up on a song they haven't performed in a year. Why do that if you don't have something to hide? (Even if you're subconsciously hiding) That right there is a tip-off for me that they're not normal about each other.
Tumblr media
Interviewer: are you guys breaking up? John, immediately and emphatically: No. Paul: "Depends what you mean by breaking up, you know . . . Because we can't go on forever like this, so we've got to think now and prepare for, you know, if it did happen. The time has come for us to break up, but we've realized the possibility . . . Of breaking up as a natural progression." Literally shut the fuck up right now, you're going to give John an aneurysm.
I understand. I know. I don't relate to Paul much but I do relate to his hyperactivity and his avoidant attachment. I make sure constantly that I'll be okay when all my relationships end. But you don't talk about that in front of the other person. Especially someone like John whose worst fear is being left. Come on. Think.
See, now look what you did, Paul. Here's John's answer the next time they're asked about breaking up.
Tumblr media
And yeah, the klan being the ones to “stand up against the Beatles blasphemy” really proves my point from the last post I think. It's just masked racism.
It actually seems like Paul's more vocally political at this point in time than John is. I wonder what happened to change that? Was it just the influence of their respective wives? Was it just easier for them to play up the roles they'd been assigned for the most part?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay on this round of “are you breaking up” they look at each other first before they answer and then Paul goes “all together probably.” I wonder if they talked about their previous answers together and admitted – however cautiously or however veiled – that hearing the other say they might leave hadn't been fun. Who knows, honestly.
Paul and John often talk about making a radio show together apparently. Gosh if only they could've done that now. I'd make them my token white boy podcast. It'd be great. They'd be so lame and so adorable and they'd talk about recipes and politics and they'd gossip and rank other people's music. But anyway, what really gets me is the often bit. So they really did plan their post-beatle future together. Enough that it was a frequent topic of discussion between them. They planned to be together forever.
Tumblr media
Ugh it always guts me that Paul brought a girlfriend to Paris with him to meet up with John.
Okay my tin hat is glued to my head for this but. But. Hear me out alright? So John starts filming on 09/19/66. He's there for 6 &½ weeks. Putting the end at the beginning of November, right when Paul goes in disguise and alone to Paris. Do we have tabs on John for those dates? John just talked about going around Paris in disguise. What if  they met up by themselves and in secret? What then?
No fucking wonder John was exhausted with him. Damn. He takes a month and a half to write strawberry fields, shows it to Paul, then...
Tumblr media
Interviewer: the songwriting team will keep going whatever happens will it? John: yeah, we'll probably carry on writing music Forever. It's just so ‘Obviously. Might as well ask me if the sun's going to come up tomorrow.’
His friend – try dangerous drugs with and take home to daddy type “friend” – just died brutally and suddenly two days ago, and this is what he looks like and talks like and he's going in to work like it's nothing. I just. Compare that to John talking about Brian's death? Obviously two very different relationships but still… Paul's upbringing really fucked him up so hard. He thinks he's not allowed to be human. What can I say? It's a drag.
Tumblr media
AKA the happiest 6 months of John and Paul's lives.
Tumblr media
I find it fascinating that Paul alone is asked to compose and record what would eventually become the carnival of light and that he just went ahead and included everyone in that. Really makes me wonder if he got a vibe off John that him doing the family way alone was hurtful or if they maybe even talked about it? Or maybe he just didn't like doing the family way without John.
Actually quite a lovely, forward-thinking, humble speech. Imagine being John, though. Watching that from home like “why the fuck is he philosophizing to the world without me?” Because you know John shares all those sentiments and might even have got there first. It would be infuriating.
Tumblr media
“A lucky man who made the grade” is an interesting way to describe Tara and I can't help but wonder if it has anything to do with Tara being cool enough for Paul to associate with him. And Paul is many things but stupid is not one of them. He's going to at the very least wonder if this verse is about John laughing at his friend's death. Right? Like I know Paul's the repression CEO but seriously I don't think even he is that good.
Maybe that Leopold and Leob quote isn't just about tearing people down verbally. Maybe Wooler genuinely got a vibe of a sense of superiority and therefore lack of empathy with Lennon/McCartney.
I mean he really does sound like he's describing sex though, doesn't he? Emotional, loving, romantic sex. Followed immediately by Paul's “I'd love to turn you on” lyrics and the “down with pants” and “sword swallower” pins. Alrighty then.

What I would call my Beatles bio after watching this. "They Touched Dicks: The Only Logical Conclusion."

#2 for the book worm ask game!
(ask game)
2. Favorite fantasy book(s).
(Eeeeexcellent, I do love fantasy books. Though how I'm gonna narrow it to only a few I've got no idea. Okay. I'm going to remove the very obvious choices like Lord of the Rings (though it is one of my faves)).
---
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monstrous Regiment. I love the entire Discworld series (especially The Witches) but I've also got a huge soft spot in my heart for Terry Pratchett's take on 'a girl dresses like a boy to go to war' (and thinks of everything except some spare socks in- erm... the right place). Along with Polly, the squad consists of a vampire, a troll, an Igor, a religious fanatic and two very, very close "friends" (and yes, the official summary put the friends in quotes too). And everyone has their own secret.
I love basically everything about this book and I can't tell you guys any of it because it would spoil all the fun.
The Goblin Emperor. This one's a story filled with light. Maia the half goblin son of the elven Emperor was never supposed to take the throne (or to ever even be at court. because racism). And then everyone ahead of him dies in a single "accident" and suddenly he's the new Emperor. Maia is a good person, and a kind one, and despite everything that gets thrown at him he keeps hold of that understanding of right and wrong and refuses to bend.
(I have to mention that the language of the writing is kinda hard to get into in the beginning, and the characters's have very complicated and long names, but once you get into it it really did enhance the story for me).
Good Omens. An Angel and a Demon try to stop the apocalypse and instead lose the Antichrist. I've loved that book for like a decade now and if I don't put it on a list of my faves that list would be a lie.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The King of Attolia. Third in The Queen's Thief series and my favorite one out of all of them. I've always enjoyed Outsider POV in fics. And here is a book that just... proves why. We've got Eugenides and Irene, the Thief and the Queen, and we know them from the two previous books. And adore them. But the story isn't from their POV, it's from the POV of Costis, a Queen's guard who's suddenly gotten assigned to the King. The useless, weak, undeserving king that as far as Costis is concerned doesn't deserve to even kiss the Queen's boots. And it's hilarious to read the story from the eyes of someone who knows so much less than us. And so satisfying, as he begins to understand.
(I recommend the whole series and am personally glad to have read them in the published order but Megan Whalen Turner has stated that she wrote them in a way that allows you to jump in at any point you want).
The Raven Tower. The story is from the viewpoint of a sentient, omniscient rock whose name is Strength and Patience of the Hill and it is the GREATEST THING EVER. The gods are real and must be very careful with their words, because if they speak a lie the reality will alter to make that lie the truth but if the lie is bigger than the power of the god... well. Inspired by Hamlet.
(the book also has a trans man as the main character; the other main character? The sentient rock is the narrator but the largest part of the story focuses on Eolo).
A Natural History of Dragons. The first book from The Memoirs of Lady Trent (and honestly it would probably be more honest to say that every single book from this series fits the category of fave but I'm putting up the first here because this isn't a series where you should skip ahead). The book focuses on the life of Isabella as narrated by her older self. This is the story how a Scirland lady bucked all tradition and became a world renowned expert on the Natural History of Dragons.
(this series has a piece of my heart and always will).
---
(and finally, here's some more of my favorite fantasy books that I also adore and would totally ramble about but I got tired of typing).

I had to let some time pass before I wrote this. The discourse is heated and polarized.
You say: "ABG ... Asian Baby Girl, doesn't mean the same as it used to" ... it might not for you but it is rooted in misogyny and racism. Does that mean the n-word doesn't mean what it used to? Or the word bitch, cunt or whore? It's ok to use those words too when rapping about women? What about fag or fairy? Ok? No. Not okay.
You do you, Boo, but:
"The ongoing oppression of women is enshrined in religious, legal, political, educational, and employment systems and structures. An equivalent level of systemic and structural oppression has not been experienced by the current generation of white men in America. "
You can read the article this excerpt is from here.
My first impression upon listening/watching the first time: I did not like it because of fugly white boy, Jack Harlow. I've never liked him, I've never liked his lyrics or his vibe. He is the type of overdone, asshole misogynistic male bullshit rap that had become unavoidable for a while.
I don't have ANY problem with JK singing about sex, having sex, shooting his jizz to the sky or any of that. BRING. THAT. ON. I don't care if the song is about phone sex or masturbating on camera or whatever.
What I do have a problem with is a white guy saying one girl (the black girl) is boring but two girls (add the white girl) is cool. I have a problem with the concept of having women lined up ready to fuck as some sort of thing to laud. And they are all dressed alike, so that means he doesn't care about them, they're all the same. Just another pussy to fuck. Diversity, yay. Not.
I will listen to the alternate version of the song but I will never listen to or stream the version with the rap.
I love Jungkook. I love that he's exploring his sound. He is creating music that speaks to him RIGHT NOW in his career. Do I like that he's put this song out? No. But that's my own personal opinion.
I can't speak for Jungkook, a 26 year old Korean man. He has his own systemic and structural oppressions to deal with.
I am not going to second guess him. He will see the feedback and take it into consideration, I don't have to guess on that, I know he will. They all see what goes on.
I wanted to give JK the benefit of the doubt with Seven. I don't have a problem with Seven the song, but its the hype surrounding it that is perpetuated by the fandom that he is being pushed in the western market. This song proves it.
All that being said, BTS and each individual member all exist within an industry that is heavily influenced by the western market.
As such, every song each member releases will add to the colors that the team will be able to use when they come back together as a group. No one will be surprised if BTS utilizes a hardcore western rapper in the future now. It is just one more color in the mix.
But as my friend says: "Shoot for another Coldplay....They don't need to be lifting people up. They need to find peers. Which is why I would support a Lady Gaga collab with Tae. Which is why Hobi asked for J Cole. That's a peer, man. I can handle Pharrell with them.
The benchmark for peers, to me, is another artist who has nothing to gain from collab'ing with them. An artist who holds their own, on their own, and collabs to let each participant have fun, shine, and grow a bit. Not some newbie who needs the boost. The only exception to that would be if they worked with one of their juniors at Hybe."
And now I move on from this.

This antiblack campaign the fandom just tried to kick up again (to avoid talking about the real issue with Nalyra) reveals how powerless they're starting to truly feel now.
They don't have many users left to vilify so they're putting people on blocklists who are brand new (I was here 3 days lol) or not even really in the fandom. That looks goofy and desperate but then it keeps going. DMing strangers to say "the truth" isn't about racism and "talk to me if you really want to know about anything." Everyone's reblogging those blocklist posts now and adding large commentary suddenly, when before they often fully sat it out. They're doing this in a group to look like they have larger numbers and are "revealing" there's a "big secret bullying problem"....except nobody believes them. Because there's plenty of accounts who are out here saying this shit straight to their faces and they pretend we all don't exist. All of this group has to manufacture drama solely because they just don't want to talk about harmful shit they actually do.
Neil has to make an antiblack statement she made suddenly be about antisemitism towards her, Nalyra's antiblackness is "actually" fans upset about shipping and "what's REALLY coming" in S2, showmey0urfangs is always happy to show up with her dumb screencaps and villain monologue nobody asked for so she can make her everlasting outrage about popular black fics and "feminized" Louis sound deeper than it is, Virginia suddenly cries about IRL issues and wants to leave the fandom because she wants to distract from the Nalyra receipts, Keybearer accused another black fan of trolling people and getting accounts suspended on twitter in 2023 when a Marius fan eventually confessed to it and his eternal shame for that means now every black fan except him is a bully (despite nobody talking about this ever anymore except him), chicalepidopterare mocks a black fan for blocking her "because I thought we were supposed to talk about racism" and then poorly tries to frame any retaliation against her to look like bullying ("see, they're misogynistic, they're bullying my art, they're mean for disliking these ships!").
To quote Claudia here, "You must think me an idiot." And the big cherry on top is also how none of these losers can stand to hear any mention of race....in the fandom of the show that nonstop talks about race. They're using very basic (and meant in a gentle, loving way) teasing of Jacob as proof that black fans are racist against Jacob too, black fans hate Jacob's white wife. People hate Lestat for being white too (what?). They can write crap meta all day about Lestat letting Louis "rape" him and only white victims (Lestat) being real victims to the evil black and brown "true" manipulators (Claudia, Louis, Armand) but gentle teasing from black fans about Jacob's haircut is the real racism. Okay lol. Care to tell us again why you think Delainey's Claudia looks "less innocent" now then? This 3D chess you think you're playing isn't playing how you think for anyone else.
I also notice that afaik there's not a single black American in this group. Idek if there's many Americans of any kind in the group. It's been a lot of shaming to black Americans specifically though, again from the show that's focused on black Americans....by people who aren't black Americans.
"There's people pretending to be black so it's okay to keep hating this whole group." It's not enough you already nonstop shit on black fans as it is, now you have to try to angle it as if none of this could be authentic in the first place. Vile behavior. For what? Tumblr isn't even a platform that pays you for whatever clout you have, so really what is the point here. In a small ass fandom on top of it. Some of you have pretty grown kids too, this is extra sad. It makes all the jumping through hoops to coddle Lestat's behavior make sense though, if you're the same kind of person yourself. Anyway, maybe you don't actually know everything because race exists in the real world beyond how Anne Rice wrote about it in her useless books! You make books written by a racist white woman your whole personality and guess what your outlook on life is going to be.
It's been really pathetic to especially watch any fans of color move more to this extreme bullying side as time has gone on. It will never pay off to promote white fandom ideals. These accounts you're trying to cuddle up to aren't even that big. The fandom outside of the tags actually has much more popular posts, supporters, and fics...although that's also half of what this all is actually about, fic numbers. Again, these are grown adults obsessing over this. We could have a whole different fandom if this group didn't exist and keep wanting to gatekeep everything and be the only people who get praise about anything.
It's no surprise that people who worship Anne Rice have major ego problems themselves. It's been fucked up to deal with but the good thing now is that big egos have big collapses eventually and that's what we're starting to see happening now. People are sick of you and able to see through your basic ass manipulation techniques. People just want to have a fandom, they're not here to worship fans who want to be dictators. Nobody is here for your fragility, losers.

TWST with Ice Bear reader
Tumblr media
Ice Bear is one of the main protagonists of the how We Bare Bears and is the youngest brother of Grizz and Panda.
You woke up feeling a little warm instead of cold. You thought that there was a power outage since the fridge isn't working. You decided to open the door but surprised that it wouldn't budge, so you assumed that Grizz and probably Panda might be playing a prank on you. Oh well, you'll just go back to sleep since you know it's breakfast time and they'll be hungry and let you out....Wait a second, your axe isn't here.... (‘◉⌓◉’).... Why isn't it here? Even Grizz would never mess with your stuff.... Something is wrong --
"Fnyaagh... gotta get those robes fast!" .....Ok, that definitely doesn't sound like your brothers. You kicked the lid open before Grim could set the coffin ablaze.
The little monster freaked out why aren't you unconscious and chased you around. You didn't have time to take in your surroundings as your path was finally blocked by a wall of blue flames and now you're face-to-face with a panting Grim, only for the monster to be binded by a whip.
A man with some kind of crow cosplay now yelled at you for being too impatient. You didn't really sense threat so you followed him. What is he talking about? Having magic? Opening a gate? Enroll in college? You think that Panda's anime hyperfixation influenced you that much...
You reached a room and you immediately put your guard up after seeing students who totally don't look like cult members. A mirror wanting to know your name, you didn't answer at first until this Crowley person is yelling at you once more.
You stated your name, silence followed and snickering filled the room. "Ice Bear? What kind of name is that? " Is he trying to say his alias?" " Ugh,just say your real full name..." " Great. Another weirdo..."
"I sense no magic in this beast. Colorless and shapeless is their soul. No dorm is suited for them."
The whole room gasped and soon Crowley ordered you to take your hood off. You took the entire robe with one shrug.
The entire room froze with shock and soon they started firing off magic with their pens followed with shrieks. "GAHH! THERE'S A MONSTER IN THE SCHOOL!" "CALL THE GUARDS! SEND IT OUT!" "HELP! GET IT AWAY FROM HERE!".... okay, now you are hurt emotionally. Back in your city, the people wouldn't care that you're a bear... Well maybe there's a bit of racism, but this is a whole new level of low.
While the students are busy freaking out, Grim managed to escape the lash and started to set things on fire ... A collar appeared on your neck and Grim's as a short red-headed boy states a rule about bringing animals to a ceremony. The headmage asked who's familiar you are and you said you aren't one and that Grim is not yours either.
You asked where you are which the headmage finds odd about you speaking in third person but answered anyway. You said that you weren't supposed to be here and the headmage nodded and said that originally, he was going to let you leave with Grim but came to the conclusion that the Ebony Carriage must have seen potential in you.
And plus, he cannot just abandon you-- ".... Ice Bear can find job--" Why don't the headmage take you in and find a way to your world, hm? Doesn't that sound marvelous? Oh, what a kind and generous headmage he is!
.... ಠ_ಠ..... That was your reaction after seeing Ramshackle both outside and inside. Grim is now your dormmate which you find annoying, and now you are the school's janitors which you don't find troublesome since you have cleaned..... Far worse (Grizz's room).
So the story hasn't changed much, just the students gossiping about you and Grim causing a ruckus during the ceremony but they were more weirded out that you are not a monster but a talking bear with no magic.
Ace starts talking shit about both of you should'nt have enrolled because you're monsters, blah blah blah. You tried stopping Grim and he still made a mess. Now you have to wash a hundred windows.... You are this👌🏻close to skinning Grim with a rake. Ace left you guys, you chased after him, met Deuce who is also shocked that you're a talking bear, chased Grim, broke the chandelier, and now you have to face this blot monster... Great. Just great.
You easily beat it with your makeshift axe. You also used your martial arts to beat it since it's movements are slow. You told Grim not to eat the rock but guess what? He ate it.
By the way, Ace and Deuce were pretty impressed that you can make an axe out of stone, vines, and wood in a short time during the retreat and Deuce asked you to teach him the same stunts you pulled on the monster.
So you retrieved the crystal in record time before Crowley could even print the expulsion papers and now he promoted you and Grim to being the first monsters to enroll in Night Raven College!
You sometimes find it uncomfortable to wear the school uniform, so you just settled with a neck tie with NRC's symbol on it. People still find it fascinating that a new race can enroll in. Your friends find it unique that you speak in third person but that just adds to your charm.
The Adeuce reminded you of your brothers so you're mostly protective over them. Azul is pulling his hair right now because you keep declining his offers for money in exchange for your talents. You are always neck and neck with Rook in terms of skill and athleticism, especially during the Beanfest event..... Lots of students are gonna need therapy after that. Lilia enjoys using the cucumber prank on you and shared the videos with Idia and Cater. Sebek, Malleus, and Silver thank the seven if you are volunteering to cook for Diasomnia. You find Jack, Jamil, Silver, Malleus, and Trey a lot more tolerable than most of your friends.
You're just hoping that your brothers are not burning the kitchen down, or thinking of replacing you. You really missed them... But mostly your little Roomba.

Part of the problem with discussing how racism manifests in fandom and in fan organizations is that to present a nuanced and thorough take on a complicated problem, which actually consists of a number of different complex issues with lots of different potential solutions each, you have write really, REALLY long posts about it.
And people don't read long posts.
Or they read the first part and get stuck on one point they don't agree with or can't 100% agree with. So they get caught up in proving one point wrong instead of at least expressing sympathy or sharing the parts they do actually agree with.
(Or people make fun of you for caring about "people being mean in fanfiction communities" as an issue. Because caring is cringe, apparently. Racism in hobbies like book clubs and local knitting groups and kid sports leagues is also important, even if it's "not that big of a deal" in the grand scheme of things in your opinion.)
Which can have (unintentional or intentional) vibes of telling fans of color to shut up about racism. Which is rude and understandably upsetting to people who have experienced this kind of harassment. Saying "go make your own archive" implies that the affected fans of color have not been a part of building the OTW or in running AO3 and don't belong there as writers or readers, which is untrue and unkind.
Now, I know that people have a kneejerk defensive reaction to any form of "We Need To Ban The Bad Fic That I Don't Like". I have that too. And I won't deny that this is a conversation partly about content moderation. And I won't deny that within this broad conversation between lots of different people who want to do something about fandom racism, there are probably some people who are calling to ban everything they find even a little problematic. They're always popping up. I don't agree with those people.
I didn't reblog End OTW Racism's Call to Action post the first time that I saw it because my brain wanted to chew on the thoughts it inspired. I thought a lot about how exactly to write detailed policy that could explicitly ban the worst examples of fanfiction used as intentional hate speech provably for the purpose of targeted harassment, while still ensuring the protection of the queer content, the problematic darkfic, and the explicit kinky fiction that the archive was created to host (which EOTWR also cares about). I do want fans to be able to explore some disturbing and distasteful topics, even if they don't always write it well, without being censored. And yet I also thought a lot about the "Paradox of Tolerance" as a social contract and what it meant to be "Fair to Unfair Voices".
I also thought a lot about how AO3 volunteers can never review every single thing posted to the website (which was not being suggested). And about how this issue intersects heavily with the structural issues that leave some AO3 volunteers overworked and underappreciated. And the structural issues that leave some AO3 volunteers feeling isolated, neglected, ignored, or mistreated. And also how AO3 is shockingly enormous now for being the result of volunteer work on a budget that's small compared to other non-profit organizations.
And honestly, I was fucking exhausted from my job that day and I cynically thought to myself, "I'll read through the links later, but I don't really see how changing the names on a bunch of fics is going to inspire great change within an organization."
(And the people behind this online protest are pretty open about the fact that they didn't expect their awareness campaign - and that's what it is: it's just an awareness campaign - to do anything on the front of "Solving Institutional Racism Immediately".)
But then I thought to myself, "Okay, but I do believe in antiracist action. And even if I don't think some of these suggestions are workable with the current state of things, or that the OTW will ever agree to some things here, there has got to be something here that could be done right now to make things a little better."
I kind of like the idea of expanding the required archive warnings so that more well-meaning people will opt-in to tagging triggering material, which is a form of content moderation. Like the way that the "Graphic Depictions of Violence" tag works already. Major Archive Warnings are left up to the author's best judgement unless reported. And even if people repeatedly refuse to use any relevant warning tags when writing blatantly racist stories, when they get reported for not even using "Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings", then we'll be pretty sure that they're doing it to be a jerk, and AO3 volunteers can suspend or ban them for it.
I like the idea of expanding the abuse policy and clearly defining its terms so that Policy and Abuse volunteers can still retain some freedom of best judgement, but also be more consistent about recognizing when someone is being a racist jerk in the comment section or being racist by gifting violently racist fic to fans of color or otherwise behaving badly. And I like the idea of improving the reporting system while keeping potential misuse in mind. And giving PAC volunteers better admin tools and other resources.
Even if you believe that AO3 is largely run by well-meaning queer women, I personally don't 100% trust that every single volunteer will be great at recognizing the many varied forms of racism, or antisemitism, or transphobia, or prejudice against bisexual or asexual or polyamorous people, or against mentally ill or physically disabled people. And part of this discussion is about when individual members of the PAC team have failed to address malicious behavior that is already explicitly covered by AO3's existing anti-bullying policy. Or that can't be solved by just blocking and muting someone.
Like, this discussion is about racism, and it's worth caring about solely for how it affects fans of color, but optimizing the abuse policy and protocols against harassment would better protect everyone. (And also, please do not assume that fans of color are not also older fans and/or queer fans who care about censorship.)
Some of End OTW Racism's offered solutions are suggestions originally made by AO3 itself back in 2020. A huge part of this discussion is just some fans (they're only, like, 5 people) trying to make some noise so that the OTW will give all users a thorough update on their progress. They are trying to raise awareness to keep the conversation about fandom bigotry going and recruit people to show up to OTW Board meetings to ask what obstacles need to be tackled. They want volunteers trying to change things internally to feel supported and for some more transparency on this subject to externally hold people accountable to their promises.
And I also thought, "Fuck it. This post is worth reblogging if only to remind people that AO3 needs work, to educate new fans on the history and present of fandom racism in general, and to maybe make one person out there feel less alone and connect them with some new friends. Fans of color don't have to be perfect to be heard."
I believe that AO3 has gotten bigger than ever anticipated and management of the OTW has only gotten harder. And I think hiring a diversity consultant, as per AO3's own suggestion back in 2020, sounds like a good idea to curb harassment of all kinds and improve the working conditions of volunteers. Outside contractors have been hired before and these professionals have no effect on OTW's non-profit status. A temporary consultant's job would be to identify where the organization is getting stuck and give suggestions on how to fight bigotry, and the OTW Board can just pick the solutions they think will work in practice with their mission statements.
Honestly, I kind of think it might be a good idea to also hire a security consultant of some kind after some of the harassment of AO3 volunteers in recent years. And if hiring some programming contractors would help the coding volunteers build better admin tools and make tag blacklisting happen sooner, then I support that as well. But that's all up to the OTW Board. And I want the OTW volunteers to know that I support their original suggestion to hire some outside professional help, so that fandom can begin to address some of these ongoing problems beyond just acknowledging that they exist, even if it simply starts with AO3 explicitly calling for more volunteers to get the planned work done.
Saying that there's nothing to be done is defeatist. Saying that the affected fans of color and their allies sound too angry or too serious or too ungrateful, or that everyone involved just doesn't understand how hard these things are, is pretty rude. I don't expect perfect solutions on the first try. I don't expect them immediately. I expect some of these things to take the OTW... years, honestly. I don't always feel very optimistic. I find this entire discussion discomforting and depressing. I'm not ungrateful to the OTW and AO3 when the community has been an undeniably good experience for me personally over the past 10 years. I want people to be able to escape into fandom at the end of a shitty day.
End OTW Racism's awareness campaign is one small part of a much broader discussion and you don't have to agree 100% with everything that they say. Or with what other people talking about fandom racism say (and some people, including academics and journalists and media critics and video essayists, have been talking about fandom racism for a long time). And you definitely don't have to 100% agree with what I've said here.
You don't have immediately volunteer all of your time to the OTW to fix these problems to be a good person. We all have other shit going on in our lives. Just... keep some of the points being made in mind moving forward, yeah? If you have a moment, maybe listen to some of the frustrations with an open mind, and maybe show a little extra love to your fellow fans who are going through it.
And if you have the energy to tear down what you think just one of EOTWR's suggestions is as bad - and they are NOT calling for every single fic on AO3 to be reviewed for problematic tropes or racial slurs before posting, that would be ridiculous, and it's disingenuous to misinterpret them that way - are you also separately talking about and supporting any of the antiracist actions and other harm reduction policies that you think are genuinely viable?

Radfems over 30, if you could go back 10 years and give you in your 20s some feminist advice, what would it be?
I was about 20 when I started taking radical feminism seriously and I notice/I saw a poll once that a lot of you are in your early to mid 20s. There's a lot I know now that I wish I had somehow been able to speed absorb.
Don't bother befriending men who aren't at least bisexual. No, not even your best friend's Nigel. They don't see you that differently because you're out now. Take red flag responses like "that's hot" and "if I were your dad I'd be relieved" seriously. You know how many of them are unashamed porn addicts, it's okay to be in a very small percentage of Americans who thinks that shit overall is a plague, not to be openly celebrated.
Don't take it upon yourself to fix or argue with racist white women. Past me got into it with @apostleofsapphos once and it didn't matter how many sources I used or how well I crafted my arguments, she was a brick wall content to call me a "dumb black American" because I said white privilege and colorism are things outside the US. Think about the times you've had your mind changed about something political or sociological. Didn't it usually take exposure to a real life event, person, or book? Not some random on the internet, though that can work sometimes.
That being said, don't stew in anger about racism to the point that you cut yourself off from white people entirely. White men, whatever, ignore them more often, but there are opportunities for sisterhood with white women who are actually trying. Keep up this belief, it'll make you good friends and connections in the future. Black feminism shouldn't have to change itself for white feminists but it should still have the goal of how we can work together rather than just pointing out the ways in which a lot of white women put us down.
That being said, be proud to be Black more. I didn't really start writing about analyzing and following news on the ongoing post slavery genocide until my mid twenties and like I wish in college I'd joined the BSU despite having problems with the one at my religious high school because of homophobia, in retrospect. Find the Black people who don't care that you love women and hold them close and don't take them for granted.
Tell less people you're gender critical. It's no one's business that I came to the conclusion I did, that there's no such thing as gender and I'm better off not participating, whether that gender be cis or trans. There's nothing there when I search deep inside or whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing to have one. Most people just go along with it once they find out what gender is. Oh well. Just call yourself a word they recognize from the nonbinary category and don't say shit else lol

"Okay, here's my guess. As humans evolved, the first big problem we had to overcome was me vs. us; learning to sacrifice a little individual freedom for the benefit of a group. You know, like sharing food and resources so we don't starve or get eaten by tigers, things like that.
The next problem to overcome was us vs. them, trying to see other groups different from ours as equals. That one, we're still struggling with. It's why we have racism and nationalism and... why fans of Stone Cold Steve Austin hate fans of the Rock.
What's interesting about you is, I don't think you ever got past the me vs. us stage. I mean, have you ever been part of a group that you really cared about? The Brainy Bunch is basically the first group that became a part of your self identity and now that it's breaking up you're feeling this new kind of loss, and you're scared of going back to being alone. I mean, that's my guess. The other possible medical diagnosis is that you're just a bit of a dick."
More The Good Place posting because I think the show is underrated and none of the actually good parts have clips or gif sets cuz they aren't funny. For context this was Simone (a Black woman) speaking to Eleanor (the white woman main character).
This is a very good quote to remember, as we dismantle whiteness and you find yourself getting defensive about it. Although, this also applies to other communities and interests you've used to define yourself (like when you see criticism of The Thing you identify with as criticism of you.)
Remember this quote, for example, when you feel so strongly about a show that you want to donate money to keep it from being cancelled. Or when you find yourself unable to make a sacrifice to the 'me' like say your morning Starbucks for the 'us' that wants to limit human suffering.
Maybe you actually are afraid of the gang (white ppl) breaking up and all that implies. Maybe you are scared of being alone if there is no (white) community."
And building on previous convos we've had here; since being alone outside whiteness is something y'all have talked about extensively on my blog..
Defining yourself outside whiteness might literally feel like an attack on your self but it's not. You are you and you are a person whether you're white, mixed, or not at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whether you want it to continue being the defining aspect of your personhood will show through your actions.
But it is time to move on.
Because whiteness tries to force it's beliefs onto you when you identify with whiteness -ignorance, individuality, superiority- and it shows through that "do it yourself/not my problem" attitude if not through blatant racism. It's up to y'all to reject that pre-set definition and define yourselves, now.
What are your values? Your principles? Your likes and hobbies and dislikes? Like in a world without racism or sexism or transphobia or taika waititi or Stan lee... Who are are you when stripped of bigotry and socially constructed identities, ykwim? Y'all gotta figure that out.
And you won't be alone in that endeavor and I really can't stress enough how much easier it would be to our shared goal of destroying racism and white supremacy if it wasn't an abandonment trigger that put white ppl into a literal identity crisis to imagine a world without those things.
Like at it's core that's what those feelings are and idk about y'all but it feels like a huge disservice to literally every person on earth to keep compromising on human rights because white supremacists made y'all scared to be outside whiteness where the rest of us are when you don't even like how it feels to be white anyway.
Have some solidarity. Give a little of 'me' for the 'us' so we All can have better.

"Sir, can you tell the woman you came here with to leave my man alone?" You ask peevishly.
The music is a bit loud and you're definitely tipsy. Confronting this random man was not on your bingo card for the night but life happens.
"What?" he yells.
"Tell the bitch you came here with to leave my man alone!" You yell.
"She said she wanted him and I wasn't really paying either of you that much attention. I didn't know you were together," he replies casually over the music.
"What?" You yell back.
"Our marriage is fucked. I don't wanna lose her and this is what she wants. I told her to bring back whoever she wanted," he replies. He's obviously wasted.
"Well, I'm kinda getting the feeling your marriage fell apart because she was already trying to get dick from men that were spoken for so I don't think this swimgers shit is gonna work."
"You don't know shit about my wife."
"I know she can't take a fucking hint when a man who's clearly spoken for and is not interested keeps sending back the drinks she's trying to buy him.
Jaehyun comes up beside you, "What the fuck did I say, Y/n?" he yells as he takes you by the arm.
"You need to teach your girl some manners."
"I think you need to worry about the woman you came here with because she's definitely not into you and her manners aren't much better," Jaehyun shoots back. He's obviously trying to de-escalate the situation but even he has his limits.
You're not sober enough to care.
"You need to stop being a fucking cuck. Your wife is working harder to get dick from a stranger than she is to save your goddam marriage."
The man snaps, "I'll fuck you and your boyfriend up!"
"I'm not fighting you, dude. Y/n, we're leaving now," Jaehyun bellows over the music as he drags you towards the exit.
"He could fold your shit easy! He knows martial arts!"
"I swear to God, Y/n, if you don't stop talking."
Once outside, he continues to pull you along, "What the fuck, Y/n?"
"Don't yell at me! I didn't do anything!" You yell back.
You're almost to the car before the guy comes out, "Come back here and fucking fight me, Bruce Lee!"
"You see why I don't fucking like taking you clubbing? This shit happens every goddam time. Go wait in the car," he sighs as he pushes the car key into your hand.
"But I wanna watch you beat his ass."
"If I'm lucky, I won't have to."
"But that's not realistic. He's raging and-"
"I SAID GO GET YOUR ASS IN THAT FUCKING CAR AND WAIT FOR ME, Y/N, AND IF YOU DON'T HOP TO IT, I'M GONNA BEAT YOUR ASS TOO!"
"Okay, damn. Fine."
You scurry over to the car and get in. You watch Jaehyun try to talk the guy down and you start the car and roll the windows down so you can hear better.
"Listen, I really feel like you need to calm down. I'm not interested in fighting you. Just get your girl and go home or go back inside or whatever. I'm keeping the peace so just let it go and try to enjoy the rest of your night," Jaehyun's tones is calm and damn he looks good.
The guy attempts to shove Jaehyun but he doesn't budge.
He gives the man a sympathetic smile, "I'm telling you, man, this is not gonna go down the way you're hoping it will."
"Come on, Bruce Lee. Show me some of your fancy moves!"
"Dude, I'm literally Korean. I get that you're pissed but you don't have to be racist."
The man throws a punch and Jaehyun catches his fist, "This is really no way to treat the man that you were gonna let fuck your wife."
"Fight me you fucking bitch!" the man is raging. He swings at Jaehyun and just like before, Jaehyun catches his fist. He turns to give you a very bitter glare and you shrink back. Jaehyun turns his attention back to the guy and shoves him.
"This is my final warning because if you try to hit me again, I'm gonna have fuck you up and I just got my hands all healed up from the last time my lady did some shit like this so I really don't wanna start that healing process back at the beginning. Come on, man."
"If she's that much trouble, dump her crazy ass."
"Says you. She's trouble but I don't have to let her fuck other men to keep her happy."
That's the final straw and the man charges at Jaehyun. He swings clumsily and Jaehyun lands a blow to his chest, "That's just a taste of how bad this can be. I'm going to turn around and walk to my car because I'm trusting that you're smart enough to walk away right now."
Jaehyun turns to leave and of course, the man charges at him. Jaehyun turns back in time to shove him and lands two punches to his ribs.
The guy tries to scuffle with him but Jaehyun overpowers him so effortlessly that's a bit scary and you lean out the window, "Fuck him up, Jae!" You scream.
Jaehyun stops swinging and restrains the man long enough to glare at you, "Shut the fuck up, Y/n!"
You purse your lips and look on as Jaeyhun hits the guy one last time. He crumbles to the ground in defeat and spits out blood.
"I'm not apologizing because I literally told you how this was gonna end so get some ice on that and uh… yeah. Good luck with your marriage."
Jaehyun comes over to the car and gets in. You stay quiet and he pulls off. As he drives out of the lot, you see the woman from earlier come up to to guy to help him up and he shoves her away.
The streets are fairly empty as you start your journey home and the air in the car is thick with tension.
The blinker ticking cuts the silence and you ignore Jaehyun. You turn on the radio and Rock with You pours out of the speakers.
Jaehyun turns it off.
"That was Michael Jackson, asshole," You grumble and turn it back on.
Jaehyun turns it back off and when you reach over to turn it back on, he swats at your hand.
"I'll pull the fucking steering wheel," You threaten him.
"Do it! Fucking do it!" he explodes, "Maybe if we're lucky, we'll crash into a fucking eighteen wheeler and I can die and get the fuck away from you!"
"You can't die. God don't want your ass and neither does Satan."
"Yeah, I'm a fucking torture project that's forced to spend forever arguing with your crazy ass!"
"God, you're so dramatic!"
Jaehyun nods with a peevish frown, "I think your flair for the dramatics is why I need to go home and ice my fucking knuckles... again
"I didn't do anything," You sigh.
Jaehyun clenches his jaw, "I'm trying to be the bigger person so shut up," he tells you flatly.
You scoff, "With that big ass head? It's not something you really need to try to do."
He doesn't respond. He just focuses on the road ahead with his hands gripping the wheel so tightly that his knuckles are turning white. The bruises are beginning to show and you frown.
"What the fuck are you gripping the steering wheel like that for?" You ask peevishly.
"I'm pretending it's your fucking neck."
You snort, "Bigger person my ass."
When you get home, before Jaehyun can even put the car in park, you click off your seat belt and get out.
You don't wait for him. You ride the elevator up, past the third floor that held so much history and up to the modest penthouse that you now call home.
You press the code to let yourself in and kick off your shoes by the door. After washing the germs from the outdoors off of your hands, you stomp to your shared bedroom and grab an oversized shirt from your drawer before marching into the guest room.
That's one thing you're already liking about having all of this extra space:
Now you have a new place to seek refuge when you and Jaehyun are at each other's throats. You don't have to share the bed with him. You slip your dress off and toss it onto the lounge chair in the corner.
The door eases open, "Why are you in here?" Jaehyun asks as he peers inside to eye you suspiciously.
"I'm sleeping in here," You reply flatly. You pull off your stockings then you turn to shoo Jaehyun away, "I'm gonna take my bra off, can you give me some privacy?"
"Privacy? Y/n, I was literally sucking on your tits this morning and now you can't get changed in front of me? Be fucking serious," he yells incredulously, "This is stupid!"
"So how's that being the bigger person thing working for you?" You ask sarcastically.
Jaehyun huff, "Fine. Whatever. Fuckin' dweeb," he says and shuts the door.
"Yeah, whatever- bye!" You yell.
You finish getting dressed and go out to the kitchen to have a glass of water. You feel the buzz of the evening drinks wearing off.
Jaehyun comes up beside you in blue pajama bottoms and a bare torso. He takes a pack of peas out of the freezer and presses it to his knuckles.
His knuckles took a little bit of a beating but his face is untouched. The Tae Kwon Do he learned in high school is to thank for that.
You finish off your water and glance over at him as you refill your glass. He's icing his knuckles while staring you down so you pretend not to notice.
After a few more tense minutes of Jaehyun icing his hand and you trying to rehydrate to stave off the inevitable hangover you're going to have, Jaehyun tosses the peas back in the freezer and takes out a pint of ice cream, "Don't be a fucking smart ass. Just answer the question. Do you want some of my ice cream, yes or no?"
"No," You say as you watch him take the lid off.
He takes a spoon out of the silverware drawer and spoons some into his mouth.
"Too cute for a bowl?" You ask snarkily.
"It's mine so I don't have to use a bowl if I don't want to," he sighs as he pads out of the kitchen. You watch him through the cutaway counter as he sits on the living room sofa. He turns on the television and opens the YouTube app.
As he scrolls, you get a spoon and your own pint of ice cream. It's the same flavor as his but he can choke. You take the lid off and sit it beside his on the counter.
"So you were just gonna watch this without me?" You ask peevishly when you come out of the kitchen and see him starting a newly uploaded horror game play through from DashieGames.
"I figured you'd wanna go watch it in the guest room," he replies sarcastically.
He doesn't look away from the television and he blinks lazily. He definitely smoked something while you were in the guest room.
You sit on the opposite end of the sofa and take a spoon of your ice cream.
"Why'd you open another one? You said you didn't want any," he asks with a frustrated sigh.
"I never said I didn't want any ice cream. You asked me if I wanted some of your ice cream but you asked it as a stupid closed-ended question," You say and roll your eyes.
"'Closed-ended question' Oh shut up! You know what I meant!"
"Then next time, say that!" You yell.
"Words clearly don't mean shit since you love running your goddam mouth so much! Why do I have to be so fucking particular with how I say things when you're not particular about who you shoot you fucking mouth off to?"
You glare at him, "How was I supposed to know he had a complex?"
"Y/n, you called the man a cuck. Like… come on!" Jaehyun yells, "I told you to leave it alone! I wasn't even remotely interested in her and I asked you to just ignore her! For once it'd be nice if you could just fucking listen to me!"
"If you wanted someone to just follow your orders and be happy about it then you should've gotten a goddamn dog," You say and roll you eyes.
"I totally agree," Jaehyun shoots back.
"Yeah, well… she wasn't getting the obvious message."
"And neither are you."
You stand up and bring your ice cream back to the kitchen before closing it up and shoving it back into the freezer then drop your spoon into the sink. You march into the bathroom to wash the makeup off of your face. You look at your reflection as you do and replay the night over in your head. The drinks, the way Jaehyun held you close when you danced, the way he treated you like you were the only person in the world worth loving.
You smile and remember the look in his eyes before everything went south. Before that woman sent the first drink, you were both in your own little bubble of cocktail flavored adoration.
When you're finished, you brush your teeth. Jaehyun comes in to brush his teeth as you're on your way out and you ignore him as you go back to the guest room.
You crawl into the bed and shimmy under the duvet with a content sigh. Jaehyun peers inside, "You're really sleeping in here?" he asks in a mumble.
"Yeah. I am," You reply.
"Okay. Good night."
"Fuck off."
"Say 'goodnight' to me."
"Fuck. Off."
You roll over to give Jaehyun your back.
"I hope you don't make it to the bathroom and you piss yourself."
"And I hope you get sleep paralysis." You shoot back.
"Fuck you," he mutters barges out. The door slams and you shrug then turn the light off.
You lay in the dark and scroll your phone for a little while then turn off the light and shut your eyes.
Light from the hallway pools in as the door opens slowly.
"Oh hello, Jeffrey. I thought you were going to bed," You say smugly.
"You're really seriously gonna sleep in here?" he asks. His tone is very much disappointed but he does his best to mask it.
"Yes. I'm really seriously gonna sleep in here," You sigh.
Jaehyun comes in and climbs into the bed, "If you think I'm sleeping alone, you got me fucked up. Move your ass over."
He pushes you over a bit and gets under the duvet before turning to face you.
"Nigga, if you don't get out!" You yell.
Jaehyun gives you a bored look and bunkers down under the blanket a little more, "You get out."
"I wish I had to fart right now. You make me sick!" You yell as you roll over.
"I can't believe you're gonna go to bed mad at me. What if I die in my sleep?" he says and reaches out to pull you into his arms.
"God would most definitely send you back," You grumble as you turn back over to give Jaehyun your back, "Get off of me."
He squeezes you close to him, "Shut up. I just wanna hold you. I don't wanna talk to your ass either."
You ignore him and resist the feeling of your body meshing with his.
His hand rests on your hip and he draws you in closer, "I'm still waiting for you to apologize to me."
"Keep waiting," You mutter. If he thinks he's gonna get an apology from you, he's crazy.
"I’ll also wait for you to get off of my dick so I can sleep. Stop moving so much,” he chuckles softly.
There goes that tingle in the pit of your stomach. You resist it, “Fine. You sleep. I’m gonna go smoke,” You sigh as you drag yourself out of his arms and get out of the bed. You wander into your bedroom and fish his weed vape out of his jacket pocket.
After letting yourself out onto the balcony, the cool night air wakes you up. You take a hit then blow the smoke into the gentle breeze and watch it billow away lazily.
Jaehyun comes up beside you with your robe, “It’s cold out here. Put this on, stupid,” he says and helps you into your robe.
“I’m not saying ‘thank you’, jerk,” You say as you feel your body loosen up.
“I wasn’t expecting you to,” he hums as he circles his arms around your waist and pulls the vape from your hand. He takes a hit and blows the smoke away from you. You both stand in silence and take in the view of the ocean off in the distance.
“Are we ever gonna stop fighting all the time?” he asks.
“I hope not. The sex is lit,” You chuckle.
Jaehyun laughs and presses a kiss to your neck, “You're not pushing me away anymore… does that mean you're ready to make up?"
"And if I am?" You ask shakily as his hands come up to cup your breasts. His thumbs stroke your perked nipples as he places open-mouthed kisses against your neck.
"If you are, I'm definitely willing to fuck the rest of that attitude out of you," he hums and dips a hand down into your panties, "Fuck… you're soaked. All this fighting got your pussy wet? Huh, baby? Feels like you've just been waiting to get fucked."
You whine and nod, "Daddy… please," You choke out.
"Oh… so you're just gonna make this easy for me, huh?" he chuckles against your ear as he slows his pace against, "No scratching and biting? You're not gonna try to fight me? I don't have to manhandle you?"
You let him drag you away from the balcony railing and he retracts his hand only long enough to spin you around and press your back to the wall.
"You sound a little disappointed," You whisper.
"And if I am?" he muses as he resumes his slow circles against your clit.
"If you are… I'm definitely willing to give you exactly what you want," you hiss as he sucks on your neck a little too harshly.
He uses his free hand to grab both of your wrists and holds them over you head. He peppers your face with kisses. You wait for him to hungrily press his mouth to yours before you nip at his bottom lip between your teeth. He moans softly, "That's my good little slut."
You writhe against him as his fingers circle your clit faster, "How many times do you think you're gonna cum before I decide to forgive you? Huh?"
"I dunno… fuck, daddy… please," You gasp.
He laughs and you know he's going to leave you a trembling mess.
"Cum… right now, baby… let go," he hums and you come undone with a whine. He covers your mouth with his and swallows each strangled cry you let out.
His fingers speed up as he kisses you quiet and you wriggle and try to squeeze your thighs shut.
"That's not gonna stop me, baby… that's nothing but motivation," he laughs softly before lewdly dragging his tongue over your mouth.
The depth of his velvety voice helps guide you over the edge and your body convulses as you cum once more. Your knees threaten to buckle as he talks you up to yet another orgasm. Soft, deep sighs mingle between the gentle praises he gives you.
"That's daddy's good little girl… cum for me. Yeah, baby. That's it… that's it, pretty girl… that's my girl. Cum one more time, baby. Be a good little slut and take one more for me… just one more, babygirl."
You writhe and try in vain to free yourself from his grasp on your wrists, "Daddy… please," You heave.
Never really having even partially recovered from the last release, you shriek and your knees buckle as you release again. Jaehyun pulls his hand from your panties and wraps his arm around your waist to hold you steady.
"We're going to our bedroom, okay?" Jaehyun says as he practically drags you back into the bedroom. He pushes you forward and you crawl up to the head of the bed. Jaehyun gets onto the bed and grabs your ankle, "You know how this is going," he says and pulls down to the center of the bed.
He hooks his fingers around the band of your panties and drags them down your legs, "Say 'ah', baby," he hums and he gathers spit at the front of his mouth. You open your mouth with a soft and needy "ah".
He passes a fat drop of spit onto your tongue and immediately shoves your panties into your mouth. He raises your shirt up to your chin and pushes his pants down to free his cock, "Come take this dick," he rumbles deeply as he pulls you down even closer.
He lines himself up at your soaked entrance and gives a few shallow thrusts that only excite you as his leaking tip dips into you teasingly. You whine and try to clench around him. "Such a nasty girl," he chuckles as his hands find yours and he pins them above your head.
You muffle against your panties and he slowly fills you up to the brim before pulling out almost completely and slamming back into you.
Once.
Twice.
His hips meet yours with a sharp smack and he finds his pace immediately. Each thrust is a long and punctuated snap of his hips and you cry out weakly.
"You feel daddy's cock pounding that creamy little pussy? You feel that, babygirl?" he says and a gentle break in his voice goes straight to the pit of your stomach, "Look at me… eyes on me just like that. That's my nasty little girl."
Your eyes stay on his as he fucks into you. The intensity prickles up over your skin and you buck against him.
"Mm- mmm!" You pant as you take each thrust and he leans down to suck marks into your heated skin. Your body is ablaze with the need to take everything he gives you.
"Take it like a good girl," he moans, "Take all of it." His hips stutter and he squeezes your wrists as he slowly rocks his hips.
"I'm so fucking close… daddy's gonna breed that slutty little cunt. You want that? Huh, baby? Gonna put a baby in you. You want that?"
His words tumble past his lips with a lazy ease and you almost feel them cling to your skin.
You nod desperately and his hold on your wrists tightens into a deliciously painful vice grip. He gyrates into you and cums with a deep exhale.
"That's such a good little hole. This is daddy's little fuck hole."
You spread your legs even wider and he pulls out. He lets you go and sits back to lean on his haunches. He watches his cum leak out of you before catching it with his fingers and pushing it back into your pulsing hole.
"Good girl, beautiful… you like it when I breed that little pussy? Love it when I'm filling that cunt to the brim?" he pants as he fucks his fingers into you. Your thighs squeeze around his hand as his fingers press into that sweet place deep inside you.
"Yeah… take my fingers in that pretty little hole, baby… you hear my fingers slipping in and out of that wet pussy, don't you?" he groans as he continues his attack on your sanity.
You shake and tremble as he presses his thumb against your clit and somehow you cum once more.
"It's okay… we're done now," he hums as he reaches down to pull your panties out of your mouth. You hum shakily as a soft sigh falls from his mouth and you breathe him in.
"I love you, daddy," is all you're able to whisper as you slowly come down from your high.
"I love you too," he whispers back. He slides back into you and covers his body with yours, "But I'm never taking you to a club again."
You both laugh and Jaehyun rolls you both onto your sides. You drape your leg over his waist and he gives a slow and lazy roll of his hips before stilling himself and kissing your forehead.
"So... never again?" You ask with a weak giggle.
"Girl, it'll snow in hell before I take you clubbing again."
"Well it was worth it. That shit was hot."

here comes a rant about billy so if that's not your cup of tea keep scrolling...
it's crazy to me that a piece of shit like billy hargrove is more liked than jonathan.
if you are one of billy's fans, i don't mean this in a sarcastic or jokingly way, you seriously disgust me. people be out there saying they love max but they also love billy. they love lucas but they also love billy. get. a. fucking. grip.
i'm all about letting people enjoy what they enjoy, but when you idolize a fictional character that's an abuser and a racist, that's just not it. and it's not about "oh i like morally gray characters", because billy's fans don't even acknowledge he is a bad person.
all it took was a five minute scene showing his tragic past and you were okay with everything he did? you know who also had a sucky past? el. and still, she remains a good person. also jonathan byers, with his abusive father and emotionally dependent mother, growing up as his little brother's father figure. both these characters decided to break the cycle of abuse.
having a traumatic past doesn't make you entitled to being an abuser. being a white dude in the 80's doesn't make it okay to being racist. i mean, billy literally threatened max with killing three of her new friends by running them over. he was about to fight and commit a hate crime on a black kid. it was hinted that he physically abused max by the way he grabbed her in the car and how scared max looked. max hated him so much she wished he would die. and yet some people in this fandom love him and have him as their favorite character? tell me you didn't understand shit about the show's theme without telling me you didn't understand shit about the show's theme.
all billy has going for himself is his basic white boy looks and y'all are quick to forgive him and pretend he had his redemption in s3 lmao. him giving his life wasn't a fucking redemption. it doesn't work like that. billy fans really turn a blind eye to everything he did but then go against characters like jonathan for taking those pictures in season one, even when he apologised for it and then showed us he regretted it through actions.
so, yeah. to any billy fans, you really disgust me. i'm sure you don't care about my opinion and that none of this will make it through your thick delusional skull, but if you are the type of people to excuse racism and abuse in fiction, you are only a step away of doing the same in real life.
anyhow. billy sucks.
needless to say, if you like billy in any amount unfollow me right now. i have no interest in having any type of interaction with you.

"Why are we hating on JJK writers and fans."
Okay, as a JJK fan, let's list everything that has happened for the past three months. Take a seat and drink water. You're gonna need it. And since you people always think I'm angry, imagine me saying this with the most deadpan tone in the world. I am not angry posting this. I am jaded.
Majority of you are racist. Don't boo me you know it's the truth. Just look at how you guys wanted me to deactivate or tried to gaslight me because I said your fave is supporting a pedo. In FACT. It was a JJK writer who sent my post to that lady who opened me up to a lot of racial abuse from JJK fans. Edit; oh and she didn't apologize for doing that to me btw. I won't expose her though.
And doubling down on the racism, you people do not respect black women in your fandom. Like it is VERY bad. My jjk moots since 2021 up until now still get racial slurs hurled at them because they exist in a space that does not care or defend them. And you see your black moots get racist comments but you want to go "no discourse". I get it. You are a pussy. But to that extent? If you're above 20 and you're still scared of talking about racism in your community or standing up for black writers I am ashamed for you and I am shaming you.
I didn't even see any of you talk about noury on here. Especially ms "I will use the palestinian genocide to hide from criticism." I genuinely hope you at least donated something to her or spoke about her on your other platforms.
The way you guys excuse anything as long as the person is your friend. Because tell me why you people were jumping on Ezra's and Tee's dick, especially after what they both did. Or trying to discredit his racism. Be for real.
The way some of you come for other fandoms. JJK girls, especially that one that deactivated came around to drag aot writers because they said they are "niggerfying" the characters. You go to tr writers and start sending hate, chasing them out. Hell, there are cliques of JJK writers and fans alike on this site. You guys are fucking elitist. You don't like any other person apart from yourselves and it shows. The way you come for how people write x reader "why is she so ghetto". It is ALWAYS you people. Always.
SatoSugu fans are slowly becoming extremely misogynistic. I'd expect that behaviour from dudebros but the moment a girl says they like either of them, they come out of the woodworks. Also, let people ship crack ships in peace. I've been a satosugu girlie long before the season 2 came out and I miss when we were a lot quieter. NanaGo girlies were chill. Can't you copy them at least?
Now moving on to less pending reasons:
I've said this before and I'll say this again, stop tagging "he spat in your mouth and came" or nsfw links with x reader and about 30 plus characters. I get it, we're all burnt out. But even in my busiest of days in university I have NEVER posted that kind of shit. I take my time because writing is a skill and an art. This is not fast fashion.
And stop rewarding anyone who does that. Why are they having 1k notes in 6 hours? What the fuck is up with that?
Do better writing Gojo and hell the entire cast. I get it. Every character has a stereotype attached to them. But come on, 800 words and STILL it is a copy and paste of every other fic? I have to check twice if it is the same author and it's not. It's like every naruto oc fic written in 2016. Same face syndrome but in fic writing.
Writers are getting burned out cause you guys want the same thing over and over again. I hope salt is not the only spice you use because sending hate anons to JJK writers who write outside daddy doms and playboy Gojo is giving that energy. Be for real. These people are giving quality fics, stop chasing them away.
These are my few gripes with you all, because one day is not enough to list every issue I have. If the shoe fits and you rant in my inbox, that's on you. I did tell you to take a seat, drink water and read this in the calmest voice as possible.

I need to vent a little.
Even though we had the Page Six article of Chrisba meeting Harry and Meghan and that Mark started following Justin, things had been relativly quiet. No big drama, no something that seemed too important. This morning I woke up to this whole Carlisle and IMDb thing, and I don't know why, but it's usually the Carlisle house and blurry pictures that make me realize how much I hate this whole situation. I'm just tired of it.
I made this account around April 2022, a year and a half ago. Looking back at it, it's crazy how things have changed. How all of us changed. How our view of Chris has changed.
My only goal with this blog was to share my opinion about this and my point of view. In the beginning, I think most people were confused about what's going on here and why everything was so weird. People were freaked out because of her age, and 16 years turned into racism, fatphobia, and people who support nazis.
We all said and still say it's going to get better, but when? I find myself not wanting to talk about this or deal with this whole situation, especially on those days when life feels too much for me. I don't want to argue with anyone; I don't want to argue whether the Carlisle house is his or if they are going to live there or not. I don't want to argue whether he was in a blurry picture or not. I don't want to argue whether they are real or not. I just don't anymore. I never wanted to convince people that I'm right or that I know what's going on, because I'm not. I only want to share my opinion; that's it, and sometimes people here make me want to leave much more than this weird whatevership does.
I'm just tired of them. Tired of their stupid followings, likes, and comments...Of their stupid stories filled with little signs and tired of them tiring to make this believable when they are clearly incapable of selling whatever this is. I'm tired of their games, and I'm surprised that they aren't tired of playing them. I'm tired that now even those who aren't involved are trying to "troll" the fandom for attention.
Whenever we think it's getting better, they just do something even worse, and it obviously has an effect on us. His actually being in love with her and wanting to spend the rest of his life with her (which seems very unlikely when you look at them) would mean he is okay with their values and that he agrees with them. I think I could "forgive" him for this being PR, but if he wants to actually be with her, I don't want to support that with my money and time.
There are always and will always be people who cross the line when it comes to their favorite celebrity, but this situation seems to get the worst out of everyone, of those who are directly and indirectly involved. Since the very first Las Vegas day, we have been shown that if you want to know what is actually going on, you need to look for clues. On videos, on pictures, among somebody's following list, or among those people who liked something, I know that now people say, Why do we even care about whom he dates? I didn't really care that much about them being real or not until her and her friends pasts came out. Up until that point, the only thing that bugged me about this whole thing was that Justin and Alba seemed to troll the fandom for attention, and I didn't like the way they tried to take advantage of Chris and his fandom.
Some people can't seem to understand the actual problem with him being connected to them. I don't want to support someone who is okay with the behavior of Alba and her friends. But it's hard to believe and seems impossible to me that the man we'd seen for 20+ years has never existed. He is not that good of an actor, and I don't think somebody would be able to play a role for decades.
I have a lot of movies with him in them that I love and want to rewatch, but this whole situation makes it really hard for me. I only see him. I see him when I look at Colin, or Andy, or Ransom, or Steve, or any of his characters. I miss that guy who was always smiling and laughing during an interview. I miss the guy who seemed happy and healthy. Right now he isn't even the shadow of his old self.
I don't want this to come across as me complaining. I know that nobody forces me to be here. I know that I could just delete this blog and go on with my life, but I like having my blogs. I like coming here and talking to my friends; I like seeing funny edits; and I like making funny edits. I would love to talk about his projects, make edits, and share photos and videos. I had so many things in mind prior to the whole wedding thing, which may always remain in my gallery and my drafts.
I will still continue with this blog, but I needed to write it down how I feel, because I think a lot of us feel this way. I'm staying; I'm not leaving because I need to know how this whole thing is going to end, and I still have some hope in him.
