Origins of the Oncest ship: the history
Travelling in The Once-ler's fandom history | by suemooon

to one of my most serious researchers I have ever done before, now, here’s a little explanation:
I wanted to make a fandom analysis using old posts, the way back machine, and other stuff to try to compare the once-ler fandom in its golden age and now, trying to suppose how it was and trying to see what happened there, but it would be later. Because I got a really interesting capture that I got while I was checking the Oncest tag in the wayback machine, and I got this:

Someone saying that they were the first ones to show the Oncest ship term.
I wanted to see if it was real and not a joke or something like that, so I copied the url of the tumblr and desired that the blog is still up, and I got it!!!
I explored their tumblr for a little while, and I noticed another thing, there’s a bunch of photos of the once-ler BEFORE the movie of the Lorax came out, this of course means that ye, there was some people who found the once-ler attractive and begun to share his pictures in tumblr (without any tag, if it wasn’t the help of this blog and some other ones, I probably couldn’t got them).
This makes a lot more sense than saying that the once-ler fandom was born after the came out of the movie I can say.
Those pictures belongs to all the Lorax trailers, in which ONLY appears the gray once-ler, not greedler. So we can say that the people who find him attractive in the beginning, the greedler was like a kind of “plot twist”
But the topic of the whole fandom will be for my another analysis, now let’s try to focus on Oncest.
2. Possible date of apparition
In my research, it seems that Oncest was born between 19th March, 2012, but where did I took this supposition?
Checking the dates between their first Oncest mentions (and also checking other old inactive once-ler’s blogs), there’s some important dates to make a highlight.

In this screenshot, someone responds that this pairing has a name, this is from March 22, 2012, so the ship already existed and had a name too, so let’s check out the other blogs and their archives.

The dates are between 19th and later, is this the origin of the ship?
Of course this is just a supposition, I had to see it at that time to prove it, but it’s not the case. All I can do is make suppositions.
You can take it as something true or fake, that’s your opinion.
3. Who was the original person who brought up with the Oncest idea?
This one was one of the most complicated things that you can try to research, we are talking about something that is 11 years old, so some pretty amount of information got lost with the time.

IT’S CALLED ONCEST BECAUSE I SAID SO! Lol but really…actually, I’m kinda the one who came up with the name in the first place… The pairing existed, but I think it was originally called twincest or something… But anyhow, in month one of the fandom, back when Sirsteeve made some of the first oncest fanart the fandom went CRAZY over the idea…and so did i. So I was sitting in my living room having a feels moment over this new OTP…but since the fandom didn’t really have a name for it, it made me think… It came to my mind that the fandom was somewhat dividing the once-ler into two seperate people of the same relation-oncie and greed-ler. To me, it sounded like incest. So I played around with that idea a bit in my head. And after saying incest repeatedly in my head I noticed the ‘ce’ in the word. I came to the conclusion to 'once’ in addition to the 'est’. thus 'oncest’. I had a fangasm and posted my idea to tumblr ASAP. Apparantly, it caught on cuz it’s still called oncest today and is widely known C: That has to be one of my greatest achievements in this fandom.

There's a small mention to someone named "Sirsteeve" who explains that were one of the firsts ones to draw Oncest.
I searched and their oldest Oncest post I found is this one.

Is that the original Oncest post? I don’t know, it only says that is ONE of the first persons in the fandom who brought up the idea. Is it made by one person or a group of people? I don’t know.

Conclusion
Second part? who knows. But the only thing I can say is… this one was one of my most complicated things to find, but now I got some important information. I'm here for you to share my knowledge!
I must say, I’m very proud of me for this, you guys have no idea how excited I got when I found these photos and data, maybe is not too much but I think they’re really important yet; this information forms part of our fandom history, and I think we should keep that information up and don’t lose it.
As a reminder too, as I already said once…
Oncest is like an icon for our dear Once-ler Fandom, whether we like it or not.
We can’t deny its existence, we can’t blame it, we can’t try to delete it, it always will exist as always the fandom will exist and some people like it.
And… My opinion about Oncest?
Well, I don’t hate it, I don’t love it thou, but I can like some posts about it, I can appreciate art from this ship, and it’s idea too.

It's hard to find densu enjoyers. What's your favorite dynamic? And during which era do you like to imagine them together? Some people who write this pairing in modern settings make Sweden cheating on Finland for instance. It's as if each historical period demands a different reason for this rare pair to be together.
Thank you Anon for sending this ask about my OTP! I'll write my answer under the cut as I have far too many thoughts about these two.

The part of your ask where you said that some people who write DenSu in modern settings make Sweden cheat on Finland surprised me, because I have never seen this before. The only reason why I think someone would write this is because they're a SuFin shipper who uses cheating DenSu to introduce some drama into SuFin's relationship. There's no real-life reason why Sweden has to cheat on Finland to be with Denmark in the modern day, because they're all independent nations. Besides, both Finns and Danes make fun of Swedes. If their personifications shared the attitudes of their people, neither of them would want to be in a relationship with Sweden.
My favorite time period and dynamic for DenSu is the most vanilla one possible: modern era, happy monogamous relationship. I'll admit that I'm very bitter towards the old fandom's dynamic for DenSu where they were only violent towards each other. I like to write DenSu as the ideal relationship, so I want them to live in a time period where their countries don't have an active conflict against each other, where they can be open about their relationship and raise children without facing a lot of discrimination. Also, I write Mathias (Denmark) and Björn (Sweden) as human-like characters with unique personalities and life stories that have lived through their countries' entire history, as opposed to humanized versions of the countries whose personalities and lives are analogies for the country's history. This means that the history of their relationship will be influenced by their countries' mutual history, but it won't be determined by that.
Mathias and Björn are immortal magical personifications in my Nationverse, which is different from Hetalia canon in many ways. One of the differences is that humans aren't aware about the existence of magic and immortal personifications, which means that the personifications are not important figures in human society. They don't have a political role and they're not obligated to participate in every war and historical event that their country experiences, although they will be affected by these events in the same way as their fellow citizens. Another difference is that their health and physical ages represents the "conservation status" of their people and culture. Because their people and culture are not threatened in the modern day, their bodies are frozen at the peak of a human's health and strength, in their mid to late 20s.
Mathias and Björn were born when the ancestors of modern Danes and Swedes began to inhabit the land that would become the modern countries. They lived in their respective countries with their people, and they only started spending time together as children, after they figured out how to use their magical powers to teleport to each others' lands. Björn had an intense crush on Mathias but was terrified of others finding out about it, so he tried to suppress his crush by being an asshole to Mathias. Mathias obviously had to retaliate against this stupid kid who was being an asshole to him (and who he couldn't kill because Björn was immortal too). This was the start of their thousands-of-years rivalry.
As their countries formed kingdoms and started to have more frequent conflicts with each other, they formed a genuine hate for each other and challenged each other to fatal duels (being immortals, the loser would respawn). Björn's crush on Mathias only became more intense as they grew older, and Mathias also became attracted to Björn whose muscles only got bigger with time. Their duels with weapons evolved to fights with a suspicious amount of physical contact, but neither of them were willing to admit their attraction to each other because of the social norms of the time.
DenSu's fights ended in the 19th century when both of their countries lost a lot of their power and territory. As their countries experienced famines and mass emigrations, their health began to decline, and they couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of death if their countries' population and economy wasn't able to recover. Finally, they put their rivalry aside to support each other through their common struggle. I haven't decided exactly when the turning point of their relationship from friends to lovers happened, but I like the idea of Mathias living in Björn's house during WW2 after the annexation of Denmark. Living under the same roof as "friends" with intense mutual crushes led them to explore each others' bodies, and then...
The greatest strength of DenSu's dynamic is the physical attraction and passion they feel for each other. After all, if they can keep up a rivalry for thousands of years, they can turn it into love too. Both of them are the types of people who bond to one person very strongly. That person will receive their full love and attention, but they are expected to reciprocate just as much. This is no problem for DenSu, as both of them feel greatly fulfilled when they make their other half happy. While the term "opposites attract" is usually applied to DenSu, they are only opposites on the surface. They have different - nearly opposing - skills, interests and preferences, but their ethics, values, communication and thinking styles, goals in life and sexual preferences are very similar. This means that there's almost no "resistance" or "wasted energy" when they work together and interact with each other, because they can quickly agree on a common goal, know what their roles are and how to achieve their common goal. Each of them helps to compensate for skills that the other is missing. DenSu operates like a finely tuned machine with all of the parts in perfect synergy.
Scandinavian culture is reserved, so to the casual observer, DenSu doesn't even appear to be a couple, as they don't do PDA or sappy romantic gestures. The way they show love to each other is through silently doing favors for each other, remembering what the other likes, accepting their (few) differences rather than nagging the other to change. They keep the romantic gestures in private, and when nobody's watching, they are very touchy and "filled with desires" (Tumblr may not like the actual word). They're physically frozen in their 20s and have healthy diets and frequent exercise, so they get these "desires" very often. Despite what their physiques and body language would imply, Björn has a higher sex drive than Mathias, and Björn is a bottom. Mathias is vers and Björn will oblige when Mathias asks him to top, but he doesn't get any pleasure from it directly. He only feels the emotional pleasure from seeing Mathias being pleasured.
Finally, something I don't see being talked about often enough is the way Mathias and Björn verbally communicate with each other! Swedish and Danish are mutually intelligible, but the average Swede is not trained to understand Danish and will hardly understand anything. Danish comprehension of Swedish is better, but it's not great either. Mathias and Björn are definitely better than the baseline because of their thousands of years together, but they weren't together for most of those years, and they cannot fluently speak each other's language. Because of this, they modify their normal ways of speaking to understand each other better. They have memorized the most common vocabulary differences and false friends. When they talk to each other, they'll insert these different words from the other person's language, and speak in a more neutral "TV big city" accent without noticing. Björn's natural accent is not a big city one (he's from coastal northern Sweden), and I like the idea of Mathias making a special effort to travel to his hometown and study his dialect early into their relationship (before the invention of the internet).

Okay – so! Thank you for all that you do for fandom and The History side of tumblr- it’s a LOT.
I’m struggling with mapping a historical accuracy/fanon vs. canon concept. I hope you can help me untangle my thoughts on this. Diverse representation in media is very important to me; and I’m also aware of the damage that the ‘colour-blind’ casting can do.
So! I’m trying to reconcile a common fandom perception that Hob Gadling is of South-East Asian decent. (I know that Ferdie is!- I also have seen zero evidence that he claims Desi Diaspora as part of his identity. It makes me really uncomfortable that fandom might be projecting their desire for ‘Representation’ onto a man who lives outside his ancestral culture.)
What I do know is that Hob is a medieval freeman (?) from the south of England in the 1300s. I wonder at the possibility of his CHARACTER being of mixed race? I know that Briton and Europe and Africa were in trade. I know that People of colour moved freely around the continents!
I’ve done some research into London population polls from the time, but I’m not certain of their degree of accuracy/usefulness. They describe immigrants as ‘aliens’.. and most I’ve seen are European. I haven’t even come across evidence of Muslim or ‘Moorish’ people settling in London???!
The written history I’ve read tells me the Europeans didn’t establish trade with India until the mid 1400s. (How it’s possible they didn’t know about each other is Baffling and seems impossible??) Anyway.
The crux of the matter is: would Hob Gadling possibly been of mixed heritage?
I mean yes, technically, he COULD be. The most logical route for that would be to give him some family heritage from somewhere in Spain, or Iberia, which was a fully mixed-race society until well into the 13th/14th century, and was in regular trade and communication with England. The medieval Iberian Christian kingdoms of Castile-León, Aragon, and Navarre particularly were close trading partners and English/Iberian royalty married each other fairly often. It was somewhat less the case by the time Hob was born in the 1350s, but there is certainly enough previous contact to make it feasible. Muslims, Christians, and Jews all lived in Iberia (how much they all co-existed has long been one of the most debated questions in religious/historical studies), and Muslims had a presence in Spain for over 700 years, since the first arrivals in 711 CE following the collapse of the Umayyad dynasty in Baghdad, until their final expulsion under Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492.
The question, however, is if he SHOULD be headcanoned or identified as mixed-race, and while I am the least fandom-policey person ever and respect people's right to enjoy their own ideas in peace, it personally makes me a little uncomfortable. It feels related to the "fandom activism!" mindset where you should ship a more Morally Pure OTP, or your favorite is "better" if they can be somehow identified with a marginalized group, regardless of whether this fits or makes sense for the character. And in this case, Hob’s background as a good-looking white British bloke with an appropriately English-sounding name, as I describe him in AITWW, is central to both his character arc, his major mistakes, and how he has to learn and grow over time. It was absolutely vital to me that in AITWW, he had to explicitly confront the massive amounts of unearned privilege that he enjoyed over the centuries by being born into that body, and how it would be very different for him if he hadn't been. As his friend Julia puts it in their discussion in chapter 13, he had the luck to be born into a body that society automatically privileges and values and places into positions of power whether or not he deserves it, and as a black woman, she thinks immortality sounds absolutely awful. Why would she want to put up with the absolute shit it would be to live 600 years, at least in the Western world/America/Europe, in that embodiment?
Likewise, Hob agrees and admits that of course it's easy for him to want to live forever and maintain enthusiasm for life, because whatever difficulties he has faced, his race and gender have not contributed to them (which is the essence of white privilege in a nutshell). And of course, the urge to make him mixed-race might reflect some discomfort with his actual canon background and involvement in slavery, no matter if he obviously feels terribly guilty and driven to atone for over 200 years after that (as he SHOULD). In some sense, making him mixed-race might seem to mitigate that or give some reason to make him "sympathetic" while he was doing it, and frankly, I don't think 18th-century Hob deserves to get off the hook for being yet another British white man who might have felt bad about what he was doing at times, but continued to do it anyway. I'm not saying this is anyone's motive or intention, but it does trouble me, especially since Hob’s whiteness, the damage of that whiteness, and the way he has to deliberately and extensively unlearn that urge to just live life on easy mode regardless of the damage it does to others is what I find so interesting about his character. In short, if Hob was part of a racially marginalized group already, he might have made different choices, but he didn't, and now he is forced to literally live with that guilt and shame forever. He doesn't get to exonerate himself, and nor do I do it for him.
Lastly, I think this reflects a very modern and somewhat over-simplified way of thinking; to our modern and institutionally-racist-pickled brains, race is the chief category that can be explicitly constructed as Otherness, and doesn't reflect the very unclear way this was perceived and experienced in the 14th century. I.e., you note that immigrants to England "were mostly European" -- which is true, but does not reflect the dizzying array then as now, in which local, national, ethnic, and religious identities were constructed. One unattractive feature of the English national character over many centuries has been their hostility and distrust of foreigners, and this was especially the case in the 14th and especially late-14th, post-Black Plague society. For example, the Flemish were regarded as "morally inferior" since they ran several well-known brothels and red-light districts in Southwark, across the Thames from London (now part of the city), and that meant they were purveying immorality, rather than being there since the English desired their services. Xenophobia was especially rampant against "strangers" of any type, especially against Jews again post-Black Death for sadly predictable anti-Semitic reasons, and even being from continental Europe would not have made someone "English" in their eyes. Even by the Elizabethan era, it was almost impossible for a foreign-born citizen (or "denizen," meaning something akin to "permanent resident") to get licensed as a guildsman in the city of London, and without that license, you could not run a business, practice a trade, or engage in substantial paid work in any way.
Likewise, medieval notions of race were fluid, uncertain, and often linked to religion more than ethnic origin. There are several Arthurian legendarium reworkings, and epic poems such as The King of Tars, where the "happy" ending is that the mixed-race, Muslim, or black hero is converted to Christianity and abandons whatever untrue pagan religion he has been following before. This is often accompanied with a literal physical transformation turning him from black- or dark-skinned (impure) to white (pure). So yes, racial thinking and categories did exist, but it wasn't seen as fixed or unalterable, and again, wasn't really the first or primary way in which Otherness was constructed (compared to say, "Saracen," which functioned throughout almost the entire medieval era as a marker of difference and had varied racial, religious, sexual, and ethnic connotations, but originally came from the term for Muslims).
So anyway: hopefully that all makes sense and provides some context in both my historical and fandom thinking on the matter. Thanks for the question!

favorite thing about them: HOW to even answer this??? i think granit might be as close to "perfect" as a human can get. first of all let's get out of the way how stupid gorgeous he is and has been for basically his entire adult life--my personal favorite granit aesthetic era is his early bratty twink time at arsenal (if he's wearing 29, you know he's extra fine) but he's stunning in any era. his cheekbones should probably be arrested. the side dish to this is how fucking awful he looks in his selfies 😂 he's way too young to take such bad photos of himself. there's some legend that quilters would purposely make a mistake in their quilt to show humility--that only god can be perfect--while i don't know if this is a true story, maybe granit's selfies are the contemporary version of this 😂
as for the REST of it...
who the fuck is this man? he's so strong and solid while not being an asshole, toxic man with no emotions. he operates on a value system that feels almost archaic sometimes, but in a good way, like he'd probably lie his nice coat over a puddle for mikel to step on in the rain. he truly seems to have the most golden heart. But he has a heart of molten gold—more lethal than the hard form. More alive. Overtaking everything it touches. His natural leadership and charisma are truly insane. My sister is a little like him in this way, and it's always truly fascinating to watch--someone who just naturally commands the attention, leads a conversation, even the most experienced and hardened team captain seems to defer to granit for the team talks. while "taking over everything and commanding the attention" is often a really annoying and unlikeable quality, for people for whom it comes that naturally you can't even hate them for it because they're not trying to be pushy or an asshole. they're just a born leader.
i also used to think he was kind of a himbo, but i feel like i owe him an apology because he actually seems quite intelligent and serious. he's one of those footballers who can give an actual academic subject answer for "what was your favorite subject in school" (math lol)
least favorite thing about them: that he DOESN'T PLAY FOR ARSENAL ANYMORE
favorite line: anytime he calls mikel a "freak, in a positive way"? in his open mic video during covid season, where someone scores and he goes "FUCK ME! THAT'S FOOTBALL GUYS!" uhhh...his entire "if you don't have the balls to play, stay home" speech in 2022? when he told alex iwobi "i only listen albanian music" in his #29 days cause that was such a lie lmao. in terms of international duty: when he was hyping up the team before the penalties vs france in euro 2020 and yelled "WE ARE CLEARLY THE BETTER TEAM HERE". or...most iconically...looking at the serbian bench and mouthing "Ta qifsha nonen ne pidh"...thanks to my scholarly pursuits of albanian i did not need a translator for that ;). or wait...in colney carpool...whatever the fuck that weird thing he said about giraffes was 😂

notp: ok...please don't hate me. i don't mean "notp" as in like, eww, i hate this, i'd never read about it, i'd block the tags, etc. i just don't personally ship granit and martin. i think they were a great influence on each other as like...captain and vice-captain, and i loved seeing their interactions there. i just didn't really see sexual chemistry between them, if that makes sense. i certainly have read some granit and martin fics and enjoyed them! i just don't ship it really.

do i need to stay more? two hearts that beat as one. one's heart is the other's home. mikel saving granit, shaping and transforming him, understanding him...sometimes it makes me think of the story in plato's symposium (don't worry everyone--i got a C+ in classical philosophy this is the only thing i remember or understood) from aristophanes where he talks about how zeus cut ppl in two and they have to roam around looking to find their "other half" so they could be complete...Xhakarteta be like that.
and also. how they both own each other, dominate each other, submit to the other. granit in charge in bed yet all in service of mikel. granit's utter, wide-eyed devotion to mikel in interviews. the way mikel saw the beast and the angel within, and loved the beast and showed the world the angel. UGHGHGGHGGHGGHG
random headcanon: i don't think granit would like, label his sexuality as anything? i think he just does what feels right.
unpopular opinion: i've definitely expressed this before but i do not--sincerely do not--agree with the popular view that granit would "lose control" when he got physical. for example (sorry veronika hahaha) when he chokes ashley westwood. if you look at his body language there--or even in like november 2022 vs chelsea where he kind of flung chalobah around--it's honestly a body that is very IN control of itself. he just came at these games from a very different mindset. he's naturally aggressive, goal-oriented, here to both win but also defend the honor of both himself and the team, so-- confident in his value system, he didn't care what he had to do to make it happen.
i've genuinely never seen granit appear "out of control," and i've watched a lot of aggressive granit compilations hahaha. i think mikel did help him find maturity about this, and i think putting him in a less defensive role really helped. granit defending = license to Murder

While I’m busy getting meta about fandom in general, I think that a missing piece of the puzzle in the discussion of relating to characters/stories and/or getting emotionally invested in them is how people treat others as a result of this phenomenon. The discussion about “how much projection is too much projection” and “how much emotional investment is too much investment” is not, in my opinion the one that we should be having. Too often, I see people discussing some pretty awful entitlement and nastiness from fans, and then implying that people relating to characters “too much” or being “too emotional” about the story are the key source of the problem.
The issue with that conclusion is simple: feelings and actions can be, and often are, separate. For every person sending unsolicited messages to creatives about how killing off their blorbo made them suicidal and how it’s all their fault, there are five people who are genuinely hurt and distressed by the loss of the character who are grieving non-confrontationally in their own spaces. Emotional reactions are automatic, and due to a person’s individual history, personality, or neurology, they may be triggered by something that another person would deem inconsequential. In addition, there is nothing wrong with getting emotional over a story or character or relating to them heavily — this is actually the expressed goal of some pieces — so to get upset at people for seeing a bit of themselves in a character or being moved by a story is to deny the power of centuries of storytelling. The reality of the situation is that a fair number of fandom goers make an active choice to behave badly when they don’t enjoy an aspect of a story or become uncomfortable, and with everyone having access to one another 24/7 due to the reach of social media, more people are exposed to and caught in the crosshairs of these individuals. This isn’t to say that people being awful to each other over fiction isn’t a problem, but rather, that it isn’t a new one and that it has been amplified to an alarming degree over the past decade or so.
It should be noted that social media often rewards loud, confrontational behavior with virality, meaning that the guy calling everyone nasty names over the latest episode of a tv show is going to be put in front of many more sets of eyeballs than the person just quietly saying that they weren’t a fan of that particular episode. The access that fans have to creators shouldn’t be overlooked, either. Creators have gone from pretending fandom didn’t exist when they weren’t treating it like a seedy underbelly to actively courting fandoms as a marketing strategy. In 2005, a nasty fan might call a show runner a rat bastard for breaking up their OTP via a creepy, angry letter. Nowadays, that same fan can find that show runner on Twitter and explain exactly how they were born out of rodent wedlock for the entire world to see.
Tl;dr - The issue with fandoms isn’t people being emotional or relating “too hard”, it’s people being nasty and being able to do so in front of an audience.

Bianca! I wish we knew more about her, but from what we do know, she is a brilliant and curious smith. She is being considered for paragon status!!! The first ever surface-born dwarf to be considered for paragon. She takes great risks for her craft. This did not have to be. She is high-born and married into a near untouchable political alliance/dynasty. She could be a kept, safe woman in a massive estate. But instead she out here making Indiana Jones look like a layabout. Also, I am a sucker for the Varric/Bianca romance and have many a head canon about it.
9. a ship that isn't your OTP but that you enjoy
Warden/Alistair. There's so many ways that ship can go that vary based on the warden's politicsl choices and race. So many permutations! And in fanfic, each canonical permutation can then be twisted further (and has been!) And Alistair is such an interesting character. He's pretty straightforward and simple on the surface, and so digging into him in a romance is neat!

Hello everyone! The name’s Ezra (aka Arwen). Welcome to my strange little corner of the internet, where I post whatever comes to mind, usually ideas for original creative projects and whichever fictional characters I happen to be most obsessed with.
General Info
I’m a 23 year old transgender man (currently pre-transition, but presenting as male and using male pronouns). I’m also demisexual and panromantic, meaning that I’m attracted to all genders, but need a bit of time to get to know someone first. I’m half Indian, specifically from the Kashmir region, but was born and raised (and currently living) in the UK. My personality type is INFJ, my star sign is Cancer and according to the Chinese zodiac, my spirit animal is a dragon, which explains my lifelong affinity for them.
My interests are mythology/folklore, fantasy, sci-fi and horror media, cinema, creative writing, animation, classic literature, history, heavy metal, zoology, art and fandoms. There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating original characters inspired by myths and legends from around the world, watching an obscure cult classic movie or gushing about fictional villains.
I am a survivor of complex PTSD, which I am receiving medical and psychiatric support for. I’m also neurodivergent (dyspraxia specifically) so if things seem a little disorganised here that’s probably why. I tend to be rather shy at first, but come out of my shell around those I trust.
I recently got a degree in film and screenwriting and am constantly brainstorming new ideas for film and tv scripts. I’m also a part time artist, both digital and traditional, using my iPad, sketchbook and a single stick of charcoal to make something intriguing.

Fictional Others
I have a number of F/Os (fictional others) who I like to think of as a hypothetical family/brotherhood. Writing about them as if we’re all living together in a gothic castle is incredibly therapeutic.
A complete list of them and their different roles is as follows:
Amsel Bloodmoon (From my original gothic novel project Blood Moon Sky). He’s gay, he’s a goth, a dhampir (half vampire half human) and I consider him to be my beloved boyfriend. We’ve been together since late October last year and deeply in love.
Sauron (From the Lord of the Rings). I am so utterly smitten with this beautiful man, he’s basically like my celebrity crush in a weird way. Even though he’s a bit puzzled by it, he certainly enjoys the positive attention.
Feral Opress (From Star Wars: The Clone Wars). I am obsessed with this adorable little Zabrak. Heck, he’s actually the character that kickstarted my “career” on tumblr in the first place! He’s my sweet baby boy and I love showering him with affection.
Mephistopheles (From Faust and other pieces of folklore). My artistic muse and a character who I almost consider to be a mentor. This charming demon is also the focal character of most of my original intellectual properties, which I have tied together into a mythos/multiverse that I call The MephistoVerse.
The Devil (From Cuphead). He’s basically like one of those cats that demand affection 24/7 and of course he always gets it because he’s so adorably pompous and floofy.
Ratbag the Coward (From Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War). He’s a sweet dork of an orc who’s like a brother to me. Constantly coming up with harebrained schemes and being the closest thing to a troublemaker the household has.
Dr Hans Friedrich (From an obscure YouTube channel called Rocky ASMR). An evil scientist who lives in the basement and totally isn’t planning to make zombies for world domination. Underneath his eccentric demeanour, however, Friedrich really just wants to be loved.
Koroviev (From my absolute favourite novel, The Master And Margarita). A trickster demon who’s always cracking jokes and joining in on Ratbag’s pranks. He always knows how to make us all laugh.
Gabriel Belmont (From Castlevania: Lords of Shadow). Despite being a rather moody vampire, he’s still part of the brotherhood and partakes in our various adventures. He needs a hug (and frequently gets them from me).
Ulysses the Dragon (From various projects within the MephistoVerse). The very first OC I ever created, 14 years ago, Ulysses is a green dragon who’s as loyal as a dog and as smart as a corvid. He’s pretty much been a lifelong companion and I love him to bits.
Dr Neo Periwinkle Cortex (From Crash Bandicoot). As if one evil scientist wasn’t enough, Cortex is the most recent F/O of mine. He is simply adorable and the rest of us can’t stop fawning over him. Although I dread to think what he and Friedrich are conspiring about.
Writing Projects
I am the creator/owner of the following intellectual properties:
The DragonSoul Trilogy. Although purely existing in script form, these are intended to be a trilogy of 2-D animated dark fantasy films focusing on the rivalry between Mephistopheles and Stardust, a dragon/human fair folk who owes the demon his soul.
Pandæmonium. A sitcom focusing on Satan and his fellow demons becoming social media influencers, with disastrous consequences. A combination of satire and slapstick. Very loosely based on Paradise Lost.
The Book of Buyan. A graphic novel about two intrepid sorcerers going on a quest to find the soul of a powerful necromancer.
The Varkaus Mythos. A nine-volume series of fantasy novels set almost entirely in the fictional realm of Varkaus. Ancient prophecies, barbarian orcs riding armoured griffins and interdimensional portals await.
Blood Moon Sky. Gothic novel divided into four parts, exploring some original vampire lore and the backstory of the ancient Bloodmoon lineage, a prophecy surrounding the seventh son of a seventh son, a romance between a dhampir and a human and a mysterious tragedy that has broken the vampires apart.
The Secret Life of Cuthbert Wetherby. A surreal animated short film about the Victorian folkloric figure Spring-Heeled Jack and his double life as the upstanding gentleman Cuthbert Wetherby and the infamous Terror of London.
Little Sunshine & Friends. A four-episode miniseries spin-off of DragonSoul, featuring Mephistopheles and his henchdemons getting up to all kinds of crazy antics.
Mythology All-Stars. An anthology series with each episode devoted to a different set of myths and legends from around the world and original stories featuring beloved characters such as Anansi, Sun-Wukong, Beowulf and some more obscure ones like Suur Töll and Arawn.
I, Darkswan. An experimental short horror film containing allegorical depictions of humanity, good and evil, life and death and a seriously unreliable narrator.
With the exception of Blood Moon Sky, these projects are all connected and are part of The MephistoVerse, with Mephistopheles of course playing a crucial role in the plots, or at least encountering the protagonists in some way or another. I, Darkswan is a bit of an outlier, as it is a story written by one of the characters within the MephistoVerse so there’s almost a kind of Inception thing going on.
Please bear it in mind that the vast majority of these projects currently only exist in the pre-production/planning stage. Feel free to ask me about them but if you’re going to create any content based on them, please tag and/or credit me.

My favourite visual artists are Jacek Yerka, Zdzisław Beksiński, Vladimir Kush, Rob Gonsalves and Louis Wain. Other people who serve as sources of inspiration include Guillermo Del Toro, Vincent Price, Ralph Bakshi, William Blake and Shakespeare.
I have an odd relationship with spirituality and religion, but I consider myself a Muslim. I also study the principles of Taoism and find them incredibly beneficial. In general I just love to learn about, well, everything.

Who’s your favourite between the servants?
this is both an easy question and a hard question!!! i think easily, it’s lumiere. he was actually who i cared most about for the first couple months i was in love with this movie all those years ago! lumiere was my BOY and plumiere was my otp <3 and i STILL love him and THEM so much of course, but i think clearly my focus has shifted sjdksj
but the thing is!!!! i love all of them for different reasons. and since adam and belle have become my focus, i like to look at each of their individual relationships WITH them!
i love thinking about lumiere AND plumette’s relationship with adam, especially growing up. i’ve written a small handful of fics about it, this one being my personal favorite, when adam’s eleven years old and lum & plum are a young couple. i just feel like they were the big brother and sister he never had, and often didn’t always fully appreciate. but they were always there for him and that remains true even post movie. AND of course i think they become such close and dear friends to belle! <3 i always write them as oncle lumiere & tante plumette (uncle and aunt) to adam & belle’s children. they’re a family!!!
(this scene makes me go insane. the history, the healed wounds, the forgiveness of it all…. anyway)
i also LOVE thinking about mrs. potts’ relationship with both of them. with adam, obviously, it’s been his whole lifetime. i think it’s safe to say potts was very much a surrogate mother to him, as much as she could be/was allowed to be, after his mother died. (which i personally headcanon that he was 9 when that happened. around 9 and a half actually but my timeline is far too outrageously detailed for that to matter.)
anyway i think something so important with potts and adam is that she’s always straight up with him. she’s honest even when it stings, even when he doesn’t want to hear it. like the scene in the movie when she’s like “oh, we can’t judge people by who their father is now can we?” like WHO else would have the boldness to bring up his father to adam. when it’s CLEARLY the sorest of sore subjects. but notice his reaction! he merely sneers at her, but overall (silently) admits she may have a point. it’s just such a clear and interesting factor of their relationship and i love exploring it in my pre- and post-canon works.
i personally headcanon that she was the one who told him when his father died (when he was 15, in my world). no one else wanted to touch it and the young prince at the time equally knew that. he asked her if he was dead and she told him “yes, he is.” (this is all from a big fic i wrote a couple years back but i’m not linking it because it’s a beast (pun slightly intended) of a fic. just trust me and my lore <3).
a fic i WILL very much link because i’m very proud of it is one post-canon, after adam and belle’s first daughter has been born. it’s one of the sweetest fics i’ve written and it highlights the caring relationship that potts and adam have now. gahh!! i love it so dearly.
i don’t know where else to put this note but: when belle danced with her father at the wedding, adam then danced with mrs. potts.
and a final note for potts, i think she becomes so important to belle too!! belle’s never had a mother figure in her life, and while maurice has been the most incredible parent and belle has wanted for nothing in that department, i still think she enjoys having potts to go to sometimes. for advice or just to pass the time. i have such a cute fic between them, actually when belle’s pregnant with their first daughter, and i think it does a good job of showing the cute relationship that’s developed between them <3
cogsworth is a KING and a LEGEND of course. i love that funny fussy man <3 i love him being something of an old uncle to adam, watching over him growing up and being a constant presence in his life. i read a fic a WHILE ago, forgive me for not remembering who wrote it but it’s probably very deep in my ‘#batb fic’ tag. anyway it made the lore that cogsworth was adam’s mother’s cousin, and she hired him as her head of household when she became queen so she could have some family with her. which i LOVE !!! i mean they’re all treated as family but i do love the idea that cogsworth is actually adam’s semi distant cousin-turned-great-uncle. anyway i love that guy, he definitely has very little patience for adam and belle’s brood of offspring, but he loves them dearly <3
i got so caught up in mrs. potts love that i forgot about chip!!!!!!!! i love that kid SOOO much. literally the cutest kid ever so jot that down. i honestly don’t think much about him in post-canon, mostly because it’s so hard to imagine him growing up. i often make the excuse that he’s away at school (adam generously and gladly paid for his education) or off traveling if it’s way in the future (idk i just feel like if you spent a bit of your childhood as a teacup you may grow up to have an urge to be free for a while). i think he Does have a really cute relationship with the adelle kids (and plumiere kids too!) but it’s just hard to imagine him older haha. i’ve written a tiny scene of him holding baby renée for the first time, but have not published it yet <3
but anyway, i love him. the first scene when maurice is in the castle and chip’s like “mum said i shouldn’t move, because it might be scary. sorry.” and maurice going “ :) it’s fine :)” and immediately running off ALWAYS makes me laugh. and later when mrs. potts says “i’ll tell you when you’re older” and he waits like two seconds and says “okay, i’m older! :D” how could you not love this kid. big love for chip my boy! and ACTUALLY i am gonna link a fic involving him because he deserves it. this fic is honestly one of my favorites of all my works. it is set just a month or two after adam and belle are married, so chip’s still a kiddo. there’s a big scene somewhere in the middle of the fic where belle and chip go play with his toy boats at the pond. they have a boat race and just hang out and it’s extremely beloved. enjoy yourself with that fic i love it sooo much.
shout out to the other staff members that get less attention! (even from me!) chapeau and cuisinier!! i do include them every now and then. i have beloved headcanons like chapeau is the one who taught belle & adam’s daughter juliette to play violin (she’s an accomplished violinist). and when belle is pregnant with all three kiddos she gets very wild cravings and will be in the kitchen at random hours making horrendous combinations of food that are perfect for her but cuisinier just has to stand there like :) because he can’t STOP his queen! he just has to let it happen as she mixes together ingredients that God never intended to ever mix. also i think the kiddos like to hide in the kitchen sometimes so they can sneak pastries and treats, and cuisinier is always on the look out for them and often has to shoo them out (but yes he still gives them treats because he can’t help it)
also special shout out to cadenza and garderobe who are EXTREMELY beloved, LOVE THEM SO MUCH, THEY INVENTED LOVE, but they’re not technically staff so they’re not ever in my fics!! i love them but i always imagine they’re off traveling and gracing the world with their incredible talent and perfect love :”) i headcanon that when they DO come back and visit the gang, there’s always a ball thrown in their honor. the whole family finally back together!! fun ladies tea with belle, potts, plumette, and garderobe. plenty of story-telling about all their travels from cadenza as well <3 but yeah don’t worry i love them so so so much and they’re the world renown incredibly talented couple that are beloved by all ✨

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
Nelyo felt childhood nostalgia overwhelm him as he strolled around the palace. His earliest memories were in this place, and it was here that Kano and Tyelko were born also. But then their parents had decided to move away for a while, to focus on their crafts and family- which grew and grew- until finally the Crown Prince could ignore his duties no longer.
It had not taken long to realise their half-uncles and aunts had also been busy in their absence, when they were greeted by more cousins than even Nelyo could possibly keep track of. He was only just beginning to learn the names of the ones who stood out, never mind the ones who looked alike.
He sighed as the golden light drifted in through the window. It was a beautiful afternoon, one he would much rather spend exploring the city than cooped up in mind-numbing etiquette lessons with ‘Lady Lemon’, as Tyelko, Moryo and Curvo had begun calling their bitter and scowling Aunt Anairë.
Nelyo always tried to be fair when it came to their elders disciplining them, more self aware than his brothers about how their Fëanorian wildness and creativity could be interpreted as arrogance and bad manners. But when it came to Anairë, well…
Even sensible Nelyo had no qualms against calling her a bitch. She was uncompromising and never listened to them. Not even his special look could make her soft, and Nelyo, though he would never admit nor acknowledge it, was well able to make use of his favourable features to get what he wanted. A smile here, a gleam in his eye there, combined with basic manners- adults usually went out of their way to accommodate him.
But none of that worked with Anairë. She was tougher than she looked, despite the fact that Nelyo and his brothers already towered over her in their adolescence.
To waste an afternoon at those boring lessons was torture. But to not go was worse. There had been an incident on their first day which involved Tyelko throwing over his desk and storming out, shooting Anairë an undesirable insult and an even more desirable hand sign, and ever since then she had grandfather Finwë wrapped around her finger. All she had to do was complain about the tiniest detail and he would make sure to personally yell at his eldest’s sons, which would in turn make their father yell at them, which was not fun.
Sighing again as he strolled around the corner, he almost collided into his younger half-cousin.
‘Apologies.’ Nelyo muttered quickly, not wishing to stay and talk, for he could not recall this one’s name. One of Nolofinwë’s sons certainly, which one was the question. Probably not the eldest, or the second eldest, because Nelyo recalled a boy and a girl who were both taller…
He kept walking, and tried not to sigh when his cousin did not take the hint.
‘Hey!’ His cousin called after him, practically running to keep up with Nelyo’s long strides. Nelyo kept walking even when the boy had caught up with him, knowing he was rude but also knowing Anairë’s wrath when should he be late would be much worse.
Said Lady Lemon’s son was not deterred, but rather walked with him, sounding more than a little smug as he stated. ‘Etiquette lessons?’
Nelyo didn’t know whether to scowl in annoyance or laugh in good humour. He settled for something in between, nodding blandly. ‘Unfortunately.’
His cousin laughed then, and despite being the subject of the laughter, Nelyo could not help but think that the boy had a very melodic voice, not as melodic as Káno but still, probably a musician.
‘What if I told you I could get you out of them, for today?’
Now that caught Nelyo’s attention.
He halted, raising an eyebrow. ‘How? And why?’
His cousin smirked, and nodded to Nelyo’s hair. ‘Did you braid that yourself?’
Nelyo subconsciously rubbed a hand through his intricate braids, making sure there were no bumps or stray hairs that caught his cousin’s attention.
‘No No!…’ his cousin raised his palms. ‘It’s perfect. Which is why I want you to braid mine. And in return you won’t have to go to to etiquette class.’
Nelyo shot the boy a look. Could he seriously not braid his own hair? But Fëanáro’s eldest could not deny that anything was better than etiquette lessons.
So Nelyo shook his cousin’s outstretched hand and answered ‘Deal. But I don’t know how you’re going to convince Aunt Anairë to let me out.’
His cousin – Nelyo realised he still did not know his name – simply smiled. ‘I have my ways…’

It wasn’t fair how easily Anairë’s hard, tough demeanour melted when her son smiled a certain way.
Nelyo was given her permission to skip lessons ‘just this once!’ and had the satisfaction of hearing Makalaurë’s gasp of shock, Moryo’s punch of the desk, and Tyelko and Curvo’s unfiltered cursing, before the door closed and Anairë proceeded to scream at them about the unprinceliness of swearing.
Nelyo tried not to gape, but his cousin still noticed his shock. He flashed a bright smile, eyes crinkled and head tilted just a tiny amount. ‘The look. It works every time. But only used in life or death situations…’
‘Like your hair?’ Nelyo half laughed.
His cousin nodded, dead serious. ‘Definitely.’

‘One more thing.’ His cousin stated once they had reached his bedroom. He rustled in a drawer, producing many very fine, intricate golden braided chains. ‘I want you to braid these in. I think it will look class.’
‘I’ve never seen these before.’ Nelyo examined one of the golden braids. ‘But it should work.’
‘I got them in an Avari stall at the market.’ His cousin explained.
‘I haven’t had a chance to see the market yet.’ Nelyo sighed.
‘It’s a lovely day.’ His cousin answered. ‘We can go once you’ve done the braids. You’ve nothing else on today do you, other than dinner?’
‘No.’ Nelyo confirmed, beginning his task and parting his cousin’s silky, dark locks. ‘That does sound good. Though I had planned on memorising all the cousins’ names before dinner.’
‘You don’t know us all yet? Well there isn’t that many really!’ His cousin laughed, before coming to a realisation. ‘You do know my name, right?’
Shit thought Nelyo.
‘Uhh yes! I do!… well I know you’re Nolofinwë’s son. His… third eldest?’
His cousin shot him a look, before bursting into laughter. ‘Very funny. You almost got me there.’
Nelyo’s silence gave him away.
His cousin’s face fell. ‘You’re not serious! I’m not that much younger than you!’
Nelyo let go of the hair and raised his palms. ‘You’re brother and sister are taller, so I assumed…’
‘Oh Eru people must stop with the height thing!’ His cousin pinched his nose and sighed. ‘I don’t even care that much! But Turno and Íreth never shut up about it.’
‘You’re not short!’ Nelyo was quick to reply. ‘You’re just… not as long-…’
‘Don’t.’ His cousin cringed.
‘I think you’re perfect.’ The words fell out of Nelyo’s mouth before he even realised what he was doing, and he was not full sure why.
He received a genuine smile in return. It made him feel… something.
Nelyo coughed, before things got awkward. ‘So Turno and Íreth, I’m guessing they’re both epessës for Turukáno and Írissë, which means, if you’re the eldest, that you’re… Findékáno.’
‘Correct! But you can call me Finno. Well met…cousin.’ He smiled brightly, almost concealing his slip of tongue.
Nelyo was not fooled, and smirked triumphantly. ‘You do not know my name either!’
‘I know you’re the eldest though!’ Findékáno defended himself.
‘Nelyafinwë Maitimo.’ He introduced himself. ‘But you can call me Nelyo.’
‘See I knew it translated as Third Finwë, but I wasn’t sure. So I just called you Russandol instead.’
‘Russandol…’ Nelyo tested the name on his tongue. ‘You know, actually, I think I like that.’
‘Thank Eru!’ Findékáno breathed in relief. On seeing Nelyo’s questioning look he responded. ‘Some of the other cousins caught on, all of them actually.’
Nelyo shrugged. It was far from the worst epessë he could have been given.
‘And I only called you that because I think your hair is very beautiful…’ Findékáno added, and Nelyo was thankful his cousin’s back was to him as he did the braids, if only to hide his blush.
‘I guess you have my mother to thank for that.’ Nelyo replied, unable to handle too much praise, especially when it was directed towards his favourable looks.
Sometimes he wondered had his mother somehow found a way to shape him in the womb, just as well as she shaped a block of stone. Though probably impossible, even for his parents, Maitimo thought it not the worst theory. All of his brothers were handsome and gifted at such a variety of things that sometimes he wondered… but he would never voice such a thought, because that would sound painfully arrogant and privileged and boastful, and would be quickly shot down by concrete theories of genetics and upbringing.
What was it they said? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… meaning beauty meant different things to different people. Maitimo himself could see he had fine features, but would never call himself beautiful. What even was beauty? Was it simply the common opinion on what looked good or was it something more unique? Did it come with feeling or was it an on-the-surface sort of thing?
Outside one’s own mind, did beauty it even exist?
And yet, this very moment, as he wove golden braids into black, admiring the contrast of light and dark, the strong shoulders and achingly bare neck that was poised before him, only one thought kept returning to Nelyafinwë Maitimo’s mind.
Findékáno is very beautiful…

INJUSTICE: A Teen Titans V.S. Young Justice Cross-Over Concepts & Preview Of Short-Story (TUMBLR)

REMINDER: This is my AU short story of sixteen main characters and heroes I've loved since my youth ages. I decided to create two factions based off of the major outcomes from Invasion and Phantoms, though I gotta bring my favorite speedster back to life cause Spitfire's still OTP in my book. I've been waiting for a fifth season and a rumor to be true that Wally West is still alive cause let's face it...he's trapped in the Speed Force till DC can find a way to revive him. Making eight characters evil, mean, and dark will be my usual case of fan-fiction freedom. Even though this isn't my first time doing it for my own viewpoint, readers and writers can bring some different opinions to concepts of them. By the end of this statement, I've been finishing up work and doing some research to get this started.

Let's begin with Kaldur'ahm | Jackson David Hyde (I think that's his human middle name from his father David Hyde) aka Aqualad II | Black Manta II | Aquaman II, inaugural leader of the Young Justice Team, son of Black Manta I (David Hyde), and former sidekick of Aquaman I (Arthur Curry | Odin). His electrokinesis ability with water manipulation brought me back to Nickelodeon's animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "Avatar: The Legend Of Korra". As we know if you're a fan of both shows, blood-bending is a dark art of mastering to control living things and removing elemental bending like Amon did to Korra. To bending lightning bolts, we know that Azula has been known to cause Aang to disconnect from the Avatar Cycle and have severe wounds. Doing so, it led to giving him back the suit and imagining him making his enemies suffer. I've seen DC's Flashpoint Paradox and saw the scar, so I bring it back as a memory that Kaldur will get vengeance on the person who gave him that scar. The Black Manta armor, helmet, and cut (hairstyle) will be given to him from his biological son.

Onto Conner Jordan Kent | Kon-El aka Superboy I | Project Krypton, we know Conner's history and relationship was with Superman I (Clark Kent) on Young Justice's first season till the season finale when the Man of Steel accepts him in his life. As a hybrid with Kryptonian DNA stolen from Superman and human DNA taken from Lois Lane (I'm changing it up people), he got the physical abilities of Superman only until I got an idea when I've watched DCAMU with him in it as a different version and aged as a kid. I want to remake his origin story, Lois was pregnant with Superman's child and gave birth to Conner. A few years later as a kid, he gets captured by Lex Luthor and Mercy Graves at LexCorps for further experiments on him as the first-born hybrid on Earth. With genetic templates of a Genomorph clone that Lex made from Superman and Bizarro, he created Match who was a failed test result and stored him in a different location. Luthor got one last idea...killing Match and injecting the clone's blood cells that contains his abilities into Conner. If you watched the horror film "Brightburn" and the DC series "Titans", you must understand where this is heading and what I'm doing...turning our precious hybrid into this deadly machine. He doesn't go by "Lionel Luthor", but he does keep his biological name by legal papers and the government.

The next person will be Megan Morse | M'gann M'orzz aka Miss Martian, this hybrid between two colored Martians have been through the hatred with her family on their home planet Mars. From Season #1 to Invasion, she was shown with green skin and her true form was revealed on the first season. As Outsiders and Phantoms have changed her up, she was having snow white skin and was accepting herself as a White Martian rather than a Green Martian. Megan is capable of ending people's lives with a powerful mindset and an unstable habit of telepathic links, it makes her the best fit for a villainess. She's given her Green Martian genes and blood up on Young Justice to a very popular character...Garfield Mark Logan | Craig (I think it should be his honorary Martian name) aka Beast Boy | Changeling. Megan can manipulate people's minds and corrupt their memories into becoming evil, such as finding soldiers that will fit under her command...that's how I'll do Megan. As fans, we can all agree...Martians can be somewhat neutral and suspicious.

Heading to Raquel Sandra Ervin aka Rocket I | Icon II, I want to give her some DNA strands of a Terminan and meta-human powers cause she's from Dakota City where Static Shock I (Virgil Hawkins) resides. I was very happy that Young Justice was bringing milestones of Black heroes and villains into the show. I decided to do Violet Parr's powers from "The Incredibles" cause this teenage heroine got force-fields and invisibility powers. I thought it wasn't enough, so I went back to the series "Final Space" to three characters...Ash Graven (my gal), Evra (I love her too), and Invictus. I know that Ash's a Serepentian cursed with cosmic powers and abilities...I'm doing that to Raquel. As we know that she's a teen mom of a son Amistrad, he'll be raised not by his father Noble Davis and future step-mother Darnice James (I'm guessing surnames now)...by the assumed godparents Guardian II (Malcolm Duncan) and Bumblebee (Karen Beecher). As for her alien name...I want it to have a deeper meaning to it, I close the name "Zenith", which means "The Highest Point", and she reached that point in my opinion as the first female African-American hero to be put on the Team.

The fifth person will be Victor Anthony Stone | Cyberion Technis aka Cyborg I, we know that we see his parents at different shows and films. The Motherbox is a very powerful object, though I wanted to put more details and materials into this concept for the half-robot hero. If you watch "Teen Titans Go: The Night Begins To Shine", he turns into an Autobot truck and brought me memories of the famous franchise "Transformers" for their films from Bayverse. I saw how Deviantart user PowerMaster17 draw and made different characters to remaking them, I want Victor to become part Cybertronian and have more powers from the Motherbox, which makes him half Genesisian. From Cartoon Network's "Generator Rex" and the show "Max Steel" who came from Disney XD, nanites and turbo energy got thinking for how he gets powered up. Victor's parents could've found those parts and were part of a program in Star Labs, we knew why his father Silas Stone and mother Elinore Lyons (Again...surnames) made this historic test for the revolutionary cycle of the future since we know that the New Gods built things like the people from Apokolips.

The sixth one will just be an original male character based off of Kevin Ethan Levin | Kevin 11, Sasuke Uchiha, and Nero Sparda. Giving this original male character some rought past and dark habits will make him a very vengeful person. I love how people state that Osmosians are mutated humans, though here's the real secret...I believe that they're real aliens and that they've been existing throughout the whole Ben 10 franchise. His name has some dark touches and cold blood written on it, because he's a hybrid between a half-alien and a meta-human. Gabriel Zane Stark will the best name for him...I want Gabe to have the real abilities of these three favorite characters I love, including the transformation sequences and unstable mutations. Sasuke's second level stage of his curse mark gave me some inspirations on his star mark and everything, Nero's skills and personality got me some bad boy vibes, and Kevin's powers mixed with Sasuke's abililties and Nero's heritage brought me to this point of making Gabe. His suit is inspired by the Neo Rooter Soldier suit drawn by Deviantart user EnderKnight1, Kevin's Rooter attire from "Ben 10", and will bring back his scar he got during "Omniverse" and has his logo as Kevin's Antitrix symbol from the Ben 10 Reboot. He has pitch black hair with ombre white streaks in a mullet, fair skin like Sasuke Uchiha, a pair of dark brown eyes, and is portraying as Kevin Levin.

The seventh person has to be Kory Scarlette Anders | Koriand'r aka Starfire, I saw this woman as an icon and a favorite as well like Beast Boy. From the episode "Transformation" from "Teen Titans", I want to let her get more powers and inject herself like the rest with different DNA strands. She got Cironielian and Almeracian DNA right inside her. Kory's a fierce warrior princess and is willing to save innocents. She took back the throne and became queen of her home planet Tamaran after killing her own siblings...this isn't canon and just my AU only guys...don't worry they're still fine. I saw her in her "Teen Titans Go" arc as Starfire the Terrible, I love the suit and wanted to bring it back for her villainess attire. I'm not done from there, it causes her to get more meta-human powers and makes her a meta.

The last person for my AU Regime will be the original female character based off of Donna Troy, Stella from "Black Rock Shooter", Korra, and Ophelia from "Brutal Legend". Her name will be revealed as a custom one made by me, though her Amazon name will be Bellatrix after the villainess from "Harry Potter" and this original female character is like a female Percy Jackson. Her suit is inspired by users from Pinterest that drawn and made them, but her villainess attire will be based off of Troia, Donna Troy's future self who was evil and corrupted from losing her loved ones. She's known as Cordelia Sarah Davenport...she's half human, Olympian, Amazonian, meta, and Celestialsapien. Her father is a hybrid between a human and an alien, and her mother was a hybrid between a deity and a meta. Cora slayed many titans and defeated gods including monsters that she had earned the Amazon name "Bellatrix". Going to her half form, "Black Rock Shooter" has the best idea for half-Celestialsapiens by their eyes, skin, hair, and clothing. BRS's looks gave me the perfect choice for Cora since I want her to bend elements and use spiritual manifestations in her own will. We know that BRS represents "Blue Tears", so she knows how to heal with water and can control ice like Queen Elsa from "Frozen". I saw Storm from "X-Men" and knew that her glowing eyes will inspire me to use her, including Korra from "Avatar". Her portrayal will be Asami Sato with gradiant hair of two colors (black - natural & gray - dyed), neon blue eyes like royal sapphire jewels with the Otherworld eye patterns of rings on them when she's in her half form (her eyes will be deep blue), ghostly pale skin of a vampire whenever she's within her half form (though it's a moon-kissed porcelain color), and the Mark of the Brave from "Avatar: The Last Airbender". As a former sidekick of Wonder Woman, she was once the second Wonder Girl (Cassie's the fourth, Yara's the third, Donna's the first & Trinity's the fifth), she's the daughter of White Viper (Kendra Jekyll - Portrayed As Rebecca Holiday from "Generator Rex"), and is a skilled fighter in weapons and elements.

Going to the last two original main characters, such as Christopher Elijah King and Evelina Gwendolyn Bordeaux. Chris is portrayed as Noah Nixon from "Generator Rex", and Eve will be portrayed as Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson from "Ben 10". That'll all for original characters and their names...well...half-way.

Wally West was resurrected from the dead and is actually alive. He makes it out of the Speed Force after defeating Professor Zoom and goes home to Artemis. He does gain new powers thanks to Morbius Chair and lost his memories, but my original female character gets them back. As the new Flash, he does full membership to the Justice League for his heroic act and sacrifice to save Earth from the Reach. I love the Rebirth attire for him and choose that for his hero suit cause why not...red and white does fit him better. This also leads to manipulating zero-point energy and having teleportation powers, such as using them for time travel like his uncle Barry Allen, and that will be badass.

Dick Grayson has many versions of himself, I love him in YJ and DCAMU. I think it fits that the Boy Wonder himself, though he went by Deathwing when he possesses Victor and made him stop. It got me some Danny Phantom vibes that those powers will be given to him by the Lazarus Pits and a woman will curse him with those meta-human powers after dying. Dick appeared at Injustice as Deathwing and has those cool powers that adding that for a meta-human experiment will work. That part will be revealed on a part preview cause I don't spoil at times and keeping it for a special day will be just fine.

Artemis Crock has raised her niece Lian with her retired brother in-law William Harper aka "Red Arrow", Jade Nguyen aka Cheshire returns home and apologizes to her loved ones. Will eventually marries her and lets the assassin raise Lian as her real mother after everything. Artemis will move back with Wally, rekindles their relationship, and comes out of retirement to return as heroes. She gets rid of the green, and wears the black and orange to become Tigress. Her mother Paula was the original Tigress and was known as Huntress, but I want to rename her as "Lioness". The Huntress title goes to Helena Bertinelli, because I want this Bird of Prey to be Artemis's mentor...the crossbow suits her and I think it's for the best.

Eve's half Anodite, Magen (Homo Magi), human, and an elf. Let's face it, I want her to be Catwoman's former sidekick and Black Canary's current rookie. She's known as White Siren, yet this isn't the best part...Eve's the maternal grandchild of Kent Nelson through her mom's side of magic since her paternal side gave her alien genes and powers. Her half form is definitely Gwen's Lucky Girl alter ego from "Omniverse", her true form is a full Anodite from "Ultimate Alien" and "Alien Force". Eve's a honor student graduate with major doctorate degrees from an ivy league college turned university and is an elite supreme sorceress in the making cause she's a legendary legacy of her family tree. Her suit is inspired by Gwen Tennyson from the "Lucky Girl" episode for Season 1, her UA/AF version for Invasion (Season 2), the first future version from the "Ben 10K" episode for Outsiders (Season 3), and the second future version from the "Ken 10" episode for Phantoms (Season 4).

Sorry if I'm annoying but it's confirmed that the royal family of fire supported incest in order to make the strongest masters of fire. Sozin and Roku were relatives but their grandchildren married for this reason. (Ursa and Ozai)
You're not annoying, I love getting asks, especially related to my favorite characters/OTP.
However, you are mistaken about Sozin and Roku being related. They were best friends and born on the same day, but they were not family, so their descendents getting married is not incest.
Also the plot of "Ozai must marry the Avatar's grand-daughter to have super powerful heirs" was a retcon of the comics. There was no indication in the show that being related to the Avatar makes you a stronger bender, and the original backstory of Ursa and Ozai had them getting married just because that's what was expected by their society and they got along and were a good match.
That being said, the idea of the Fire Nation having a history of incest, no matter the reason, is something I really like, and I've been toying with it in my fanfics. I just love the thought of Zuzu and Azula being expected to marry each other from a young age.

Five Things--Writer Edition

Rules: List five things you never get tired of writing. It can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy; then, tag five people!
Crackships! I love discovering the chemistry, connections, and possible similar interests different characters could share and explore. For me, it’s not just tossing two characters together; no matter how hated or loved they are, I have to find what could not only draw them together, but keep them together. Weaving the story that unfolds is one of my joys of writing.
Slice of Life: My OTP is and always be Liam x Riley, and I always try to portray them as a real couple, not a royal one. Governance is their job, not their life. There are arguments, mistakes, home-cooked meals, insecurities, but above all, love and loyalty.
Period Pieces: I am a huge buff of history and documentaries, and to incorporate this into my writings, whether it’s using established characters or original ones born of my imagination, is incredibly satisfying to me as a writer. I do have some period pieces that are bubbling up in my Fuck Wizard cauldron that I will hopefully one day share with the Internet: Heartland, Rumors of War, an update to Streets of New York, Philadelphia Freedom.
Dramedy: If my goal is to portray my OTP (and any/all characters I write) as real people, they need to be in a real world setting, right? Thank GAWD for AUs! And when writing real people in the real world, not everything is all roses nor is it all thorns. It’s a mix, right? Laughter, tears, hurt, healing, comedy, drama. I love writing real people in the real world; and being I’m a real person in the real world, ideas abound for the stories.
Building Backstory: Probably one of my favorite things about writing fanfiction is being able to build, stretch, grow our favorite characters the way we want to see them and fill in the plotholes the canon stories/series left behind. Backstory building is one way to do that, and I absolutely LOVE IT. I worry that it does make the story wordier and lengthier and therefore readers will lose interest, but I won’t stop writing it.

HISTORY:
Glenn Lawrence was born to Bill and Karen on October 25, 1995. The Lawrences weren’t exactly expecting a child, but they knew they weren’t going to give him up once he was born. They raised him and loved him and made sure that he always had everything he needed to be happy. When Glenn was two, his sister Emma was born. The pair quickly became inseparable and everyone liked to joke that they were partners in crime.
When Glenn was ten and Emma eight, tragedy struck. Emma went missing at a park and was—after much searching by the local authorities—presumed dead. The news was a shock to everyone, but especially Glenn. He’d loved his sister and now to be told she was never coming back was awful. He would often go down into the living room at night and stare at the television set. His mother could never figure out why.
Twelve years passed before the Lawrences made headlines again. A girl who looked to be Emma was found just outside a subway station. She was diagnosed with amnesia and the Lawrences were brought in to confirm that she was truly Emma. Upon confirmation, the local authorities assumed that the case was closed. But an interview with Glenn and the presumed Emma proved false. Emma was not Emma, she was a runaway named Britney Taylor and Glenn wasn’t so innocent, either. He’d killed his sister by accident when he was young and he was arrested and sent to jail for the murder.

HISTORY:
Parker Matthews was always a bright child. It was something his parents always said and everyone knew it to be true. He did well in school and always had a fascination with his father’s car. Everyone assumed he’d grow up to be a mechanic or a race car driver or something of the sort. They had no idea how right they were.
Parker tried college, but he dropped out after his first semester. He didn’t like it; it was too rigid. He needed something to play around with, something that would let him get his hands dirty. He ended up at a local drag strip, doing odd jobs and the occasional coffee run until he became the full time mechanic for the driver there. He and Davy struck up a friendship and Parker quickly earned the nickname Skip, for the highly energetic way he did everything. After much pestering, Davy promised him that he could race in his place one night.
That promise seemed to be forgotten by Davy as the years dragged on. Two years later, Skip was still the mechanic and he still hadn’t driven the car. He was getting annoyed. How hard was it for Davy to let him race for one night? He was approached by Davy’s sponsor one day about the issue. Walter made a deal with Skip: wreck Davy’s car and get a new one to his liking. Skip agreed without hesitation; Davy had refused to honor his promise and so it was time he learned a lesson.

everything has its price//verse - canon. it’s been two years since skip started working with davy and he hasn’t driven once. he’s getting impatient and he starts getting pushy and annoyed whenever the topic of racing comes up. davy’s sponsor, walter, goes to skip with a deal. wreck the car and get a new one for himself. skip agrees. he’s tired of living in the shadows and he wants to do something with his life beyond being a mechanic.
reap what you’ve sown//verse - post canon. davy’s car was wrecked beyond repair. davy survived, but he can never race again due to the injuries sustained in the accident. skip drives for walter now and he makes more money than he’d ever dreamed of making. he’s on the road to becoming a nascar driver if he so chooses.
