idea for Oscar's nightmare. As we all know, the inevitable fusion of personalities between him and Oz is a legitimate concern on the part of everyone involved. So why don't we make things even worse and more unsettling by simply wishing our worst fears and future real in our beloved farmer's head?

So imagine the situation, one day, Oscar wakes up in his house, gets dressed and just hangs out with his friends. At some point, he starts to act more and more like Ozpin, and upon realizing this, he is instantly interrupted by a quick mumble of apology, but... Nobody got mad at him. No one thought that his behavior was strange. Like, Oz... Why are you apologizing? You've always acted like this. He looks away in embarrassment, because he himself does not understand what has come over him, maybe ... Is he a little crazy? Or the stress from the last events caught up with him ... And then everything in the dream developed even more strangely. The further the dream went, the more changeable and strange for him his behavior became. Oz wasn't even sure who he was. But everyone around him keeps telling him that it's okay, that he's always been like this. Absolutely everyone in this dream called him Oz. And it felt like the most natural thing in the whole world. His morning is going to be really shitty when he realizes he's dreaming about his inevitable future. And what's worse... He's not sure anymore if he sees much of a difference between Oscar and Oz. He's not even sure what the difference should have been

More from "The Girl Who Fell Through Amphibia" (aka RWBYia)! I discovered I love drawing Oscar in this style and screenshot redraws were a good way to get used to it. These were my first few drawings for RWBYia. They are mostly not canon though, since there are no grimm in Amphibia in this au and sadly Ozpin isn't big enough for Oscar to fit in his pocket. (And yes, I did use Long Memory's design on the pocket haha).

I want to be able to follow along, but it's a bit confusing.

If you do, could you give the link, please?

Funny enough, I don’t. If anyone has a good website for those family tree diagrams I’d love to know.

Until then, I’ll just make a simple list right now because asking about my ocs will always give be boundless energy. I’ll try being brief. If I write a name that has the last name of the main ship in the au, I trust I don’t have to explain who the parents are.

An Emerald city siblings centered AU.

When Cinder, Emerald and Mercury attacked Amber they overdid, between the physical stress and Cinder's Grimm glove forcefully ripping her soul appart Amber perished, however the last person on her mind was not Cinder, but the girl she recognized as a mayor threat on the group, Emerald.

Cinder was not pleased and tried to take the powers out of Emerald, but Emerald managed to scape an went into hiding, eventually arriving to a Farm in Mistral whete the owner and her nephew took her in.

Seeing how Emerald got attached to Cinder in canon something similar happened with her the Pines, but in this case far more healthier. Aunt Em is the mother she never had and Oscar is the little brother she will protect with her life.

When Ozcar and Oz's souls start the process of merging and he has to leave Emerald follows, she will not let him go through this alone.

The group gets a maiden early on, but a maiden who the closest thing to a moral compass is the whims of a, luckily polite, 14 yo kid. She cares for him a lot, Oscar running away to go shopping in Argus almost gets Jaune burned alive.

I am curious more about the story AU down the road: let’s say team rwby and others come into Atlas:

I know things will changes gradually but how is the question:

Ruby tells the truth: maybe nothing too much change but ironwood will keep a sharper eye on them?

Would yang and Blake still try to tell Robyn the project? And if they are still trying too trellis her how would team CRDL stop them?

I understand if you wish not to spoil but I was just curious.

So, telling James Ironwood the truth early will change a few main things in this AU. First of all, Ironwood will begin working with a few key Atlas scientists on ways to reverse her immortality. Secondly, Team CRDL will be brought in on this secret when Ruby tells Ironwood that they were the ones that pushed her to tell the truth. Because of that, when Ironwood sends Yang and Blake down to capture Robyn, he'll also send down Cardin and Sky. Blake will express some misgivings, but with the four of them, they'll actually arrest her and bring her to Ironwood. Of course, this causes more upheaval in Mantle, upheaval that Watts and Tyrian use to cause more chaos.

It doesn't help that Jacques is also using this as an opportunity to falsely paint Ironwood as a tyrant.

All of this will culminate in a riot instegated by Watts and Tyrian. (Side note, there will be a subplot of human supremacists and faunas eugenicists fighting each other in the streets, as well as legitimate faunas and human protestors who want things to be better. It will come to a head when the chaos of the riots causes a Grimm invasion. It is only narrowly avoided by a show of unity between Ironwood and Robyn, as well as the legitimate protestors and Atlas military teaming up to push back both the human supremacists and faunas eugenicists.

Then, a few more things proceed similarly to how they did in canon. Jacques is arrested, Watts is captured, and Ironwood sees the chess piece. Penny gets the Winter Maiden powers, but this time the power overloads her systems. In a tense argument between Ironwood and Oscar, where Ozpin shows back up to speak with his old friend, Ozcar talks down Ironwood from the brink of losing it.

I’m really hoping she doesn’t die, but the Fall definitely still happens. There’s not enough changed to make it not, after all

So Pyrrha might not die but Ozpin still definitely does. Because I want the added tension and awkwardness of OZcar on top of all the other nonsense that goes on.

Maybe Pyrrha doesn’t die but she’s hurt enough that she can’t go on fighting with the others. She goes back and lives with her mom until the Arcs convince them to move in. For safety because there’s plot stuff happening, and also because both sets of parents know perfectly well that their kids are smitten

I FINALLY DID IT!!!!

I made a gif of Oscar’s time travel semblance for my fic Revert to Last Save File. I might re-do this (but better) later, but this took a lot of time and I’m super proud of it. It’s not exactly how I envisioned it, but I am satisfied enough to post this. I’m enjoying making gifs, even though it’s a struggle. 

Again, I might make a new and improved one later. I wanted to do more with the background, but I think this is a great start.
