what about that artist who drew a beautiful elriel artwork and the gwynriels did everything to take it off from instagram? (and they won) i'm so tired ..

Another example of this fandoms childish behaviour, the artist (pandyals) and the amazing commisioners @leiaamidala & @zannagrace really had to take the brunt of what was a ridiculous reporting spree.

The fact is G*ynriel fans cannot keep themselves out of Elriel business, and that has been proven time and time again. There are plenty of sexy art for all ships, Pandy even has a Feysand one that was never targeted, but someone people want to claim it is just a coincidence the Elriel NSFW one got removed.

Bullshit.

The funniest thing is all it does is yet again show peoples insecurity with their ship, and in the end spite themselves by discouraging artists from doing more NSFW art.

I wouldnt worry though because they don’t win. They never will living such petty lives, especially when Elriel get their own book soon. The only people I feel for are the commissioners who paid for the art :( however we can enjoy it on other platforms still luckily 🖤

I just wanted to say I really love how you’re able yo stand up to fellow Elriels for some recent unflattering behavior. I have been distancing myself from the fandom recently because I just hate hypocritical behavior and I’ve noticed it recently, like how nasty Elriels can be on twitter, etc. Most recently, an elriel was dissing pandyals art for posting an elucien piece even tho pandyals is known to be unbiased and makes amazing elriel art too. They said that pandyals was “dead to them now” and pandyals posted it to their insta which made me really upset because we preach so much about being “better” than others in the other ships, etc, but we show just as bad behavior at times. I just wish we could lose the attitude at times and not be so passive aggressive. We don’t need to even acknowledge the other ships and just enjoy ours, but people love getting into the drama.

I hadn’t seen the pandyals comment (though I saw her Elucien art), but that makes me so sad to hear. We should never attack artists for drawing a ship we don’t like, especially for a commission, and all this does is make artists not want to draw elriel. Also, people are allowed to ship other ships, and unless they’ve said something harmful or offensive, they should be allowed to do so in peace (and we should still always be respectful).

I hate the nastiness I see from some elriels, and it makes me ashamed to be a part of the same fandom when I see it. And I hate being lumped in with and blamed for the nastiness of a small minority. I just want to go back to my bubble of posting and reading elriel theories and quotes and headcanons and ignoring all the other ships and bs 😭😭😭

Makes me sad to see Elriels on twitter bashing pandyals art for her elucien piece. She’s always remained neutral to the acotar ships, and even listed elriel as one of her fav couples to draw. Saw a twitter post saying that Pandyals was dead to them now because of the elucien art, and it’s just not a good look for us. We don’t need to stoop down to that level, especially after always preaching how we hate people commenting mean things on elriel art

Yeah I think I saw that one person on her Instagram Stories as well, it is sad. I completely agree it isn't necessary or even normal to say someone is dead to them over art. Ultimately though one person doesn't rep us all, and hopefully this person will learn from this that the behaviour was not kind or productive.

One of my biggest pet peeves as you know, is other ships commenting on the others art, so I completely agree. If you feel so strongly just unfollow or block, don't taint other's art on the OG post...
