CALIFORNIA POLICE OFFICER IN SPOTLIGHT FOR BODY SLAMMING LADY OUTSIDE GROCERY STORE
A police officer’s violent actions in southern California are being investigated after video footage showed the white cop brutalizing an unarmed Black woman for the apparent offense of recording officers detaining her husband.
The video footage recorded by a witness began by showing the woman holding a cell phone and filming officers handcuffing her husband, who can be heard repeatedly asking “why” he was being detained outside the supermarket in Lancaster.
After two officers struggled to handcuff the husband, one walked directly to the wife. When the camera follows the officer, he’s shown grabbing the wife by the back of her neck before violently flinging her to the ground.
The person recording can be heard yelling for the cop to “get off of her” and not to hit her to no avail.
The cop is next shown kneeling on the wife’s neck, evoking horrific imagery from Derek Chavin’s police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
As with the woman’s husband, the officer struggled to place her in handcuffs even though she wasn’t resisting.
Her husband can be heard in the background pleading for the officer to stop. He also said she has cancer. Neither claim prevented the officer from accosting the woman standing at least 20 feet away from the officers when they were handcuffing her husband.

"A single state trooper logged 1,350 fraudulent traffic tickets into a Connecticut database meant to detect racial profiling. The finding is key to a damning new audit of the Connecticut State Police, which reveals pervasive trooper malfeasance, including at least 26,000 false tickets logged over seven years, that masked racial bias in the force’s policing. Now, the CSP refuses to discuss the audit — or even reveal if the most-prolific ticket faker still has a badge."

Is it even a surprise at this point? And the fact that he was merely suspended from the department rather than being fired outright speaks volumes. Only time will tell if he faces real consequences.

Despite the vicious attack having been clearly caught on video the officer has been on paid vacation for several months and faced no repercussions — until now.

This is a developing news story and may be updated as more information is obtained. If you value such information, please support this Substack.
On Dec. 1, a woman immolated herself with a Palestinian flag outside the Israeli consulate in Atlanta.
Now, according to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, the woman — referred to in their report as “Jane Doe” — is alive and “in stable condition” at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she has been since the immolation.
After repeated requests for her name, the department stated to this reporter in an email that it “does not disclose the identities of victims”. Repeated inquiries to Grady, which is a public hospital, went unanswered. The hospital houses the Walter L. Ingram Burn Center.
“Jane Doe” is 27.
When asked if they had made any comment to tell the public that she was still alive this entire time, the official at Atlanta Fire Rescue Department said they “shared the last updated with local media via email on 12/21/23. The release stated: ‘The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition. The security guard, who attempted to assist the burn victim, has been released from the hospital.’” Several internet searches on that quote produce no results. This would also indicate that "Jane Doe" went from critical to stable condition without public notice.
Aaron Bushnell immolated himself at the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, explaining “I will no longer be complicit in genocide” and shouting “Free Palestine!” repeatedly as he burned alive. So, his case — unlike many other self-immolations including Gregory Levey, Raymond Moules, Timothy T. Brown, Malachi Ritscher and others — has received some attention. Thus, “Jane Doe” being ignored fits with the usual pattern. Bushnell is the exception — probably because he livestreamed it. See “Ignoring Immolators Lulls the Society to Sleep.”
As Bushnell was burning himself alive, an officer pointed a gun at him, barking orders as if he constituted a threat. A security guard, Michael Harris, sustained injuries working to rescue “Jane Doe” — but there were similarities, where she was actually viewed as a potential threat.
At one point, the police report for “Jane Doe” refers to it as being a case of “arson”.
Much of the media coverage and general discussion of her self-immolation in December focused on if she had done damage. The Atlanta Police Chief said: “We believe this building remains safe, and we do not see any threat here.” The Israeli government released a statement: “It is tragic to see the hate and incitement toward Israel expressed in such a horrific way.”
Police records indicate that they obtained a search warrant and entered an apartment they believed to be associated with “Jane Doe” — initially using a drone:
The drone was able to relay information as to the layout and the belongings inside. After it was deemed "safe" entry was made with bomb technicians. While clearing the apartment no improvised explosive devices were located.
The police report also noted:
During the search a Quran was found in the bedroom along with a [sic] Arabic dictionary and a Hebrew dictionary. The bedroom bookshelf contained books related to fiction and fantasy. A "Drug use for grown ups" book was on the bookshelf as well. Two journals were seized from the bedroom. A thumbdrive was seized from the bedroom as well. A laptop computer was seized from the kitchen counter. A copy of the search warrant was left in the living room of the apartment. The front door [of] the apartment was secured before law enforcement left the premises.
When pressed for more information in compliance with an Open Records Request under Georgia law, Atlanta Fire Rescue Department claimed: “There is an ongoing and active investigation for the incident in question, which is why the only releasable information has been shared via the incident report. Investigative documentation is not available for release until the investigation is closed.”

demanding a series in the same vein (heh, vein) as Dexter/Hannibal wherein a prolific serial killer plays cat & mouse with the police--except the serial killer in question is a preteen schoolgirl. this would make for compelling television due to the fact that middle school frequently causes girls to become deranged, and more media should reflect this

"But most police officers are good."
No they're not.
In the general population, there are good people and there are bad people. And every police officer is a member of the general population who decided to become a police officer. The police are not a demographic. Every single police officer chose to be a police officer.
Therefore, if most police officers are good, then that means the police force is designed in such a way that good people are drawn to it while bad people are pushed away from it.
And that's been proven to be false many times.
The police are only as good as the laws they enforce and the standards they're held to.
As long as there are laws against victimless actions, people who only want to protect society from dangerous monsters while defending everyone's freedom are pushed away from the police force, and people who get a sick pleasure from ruining people's lives in order to boost their own egos are drawn to the police force.
As long as the police are able to abuse people and get away with it, people who believe in using as little force as necessary are pushed away from the police force, and people who were bullies in high school and want to be even bigger bullies while being seen as the good guys are drawn to the police force.
As long as capitalists who destroy other people in order to increase profits are considered smart businesspeople while poor people who steal food in order to survive are considered criminals, people who wish to improve society are pushed away from the police force, and people who wish to further traumatize those who are already suffering are drawn to the police force.
If you think most police officers are good, what is being done to draw in good people, and what is being done to push away bad people? If you're so sure that the police are good, then you'd have to have an answer to that. But for some reason, you never do.

Police Stand Over Man - One Officer Plays Video Game On Cellphone - And Watch As Helpless Stabbing Victim Bleeds To Death
Tumblr media
Instead of utilizing their medical training, body-camera footage shows one of the Salt Lake officers scrolling through social media and playing games on his cellphone moments after refusing to provide first aid to Outlaw, who was slowly dying in front of him.
At one point, officers tell him to crawl out of the elevator, but they never attempted to move this man to stop his bleeding.
The woman who reportedly stabbed the man in a domestic squabble was present and said to the officers, “You’re not doing anything about it.” A Policeman identified as Officer Anderson snapped back,
“What am I supposed to do? We have medical coming.”
The Salt Lake City Police Department did an internal investigation. Even with the video evidence of the officer's actions, the police department and city cleared them of wrongdoing, according to news reports.
Before the investigation had been completed, officials like Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Chief Mike Brown supported the officers, commending them for following proper departmental policy and procedure.
A few officers speaking off the record, under a promise of anonymity after hearing the remarks of the higher-ups, said they disagreed with the chief's assessment of the case. According to a local Salt Lake City news outlet, these officers say they would have rendered first aid to the man known as 'Outlaw.' However, they could not express that publicly, fearing someone in the department would retaliate against them. The Thin Blue Line can become a Great Blue Career Killer and sometimes a lifetaker if caught on the wrong side of the blue political divide.

In a show of absolute arrogance he looked right in the parent's faces and said "Do whatever you're going to do, I'm a cop"... He has since been suspended from the force but we shall see if he faces any real consequences.
