silly episode idea but hear me out

okay well the first part isn’t silly! so the episode is based around a con they are doing where a polyam triad wants to get married and have been writing to senators and stuff for years but nothing has happened. maybe there is a time element that leeway has to happen soon (not sure what that would be yet, maybe someone is sick???)

(obviously polycules aren’t only and are often more than just a closed three-person system, but I’m saying triad right now bc I feel like that would be an easier and more ‘socially acceptable’ gateway into more accepting legislation for diverse relationship dynamics)

the leverage crew, of course, can’t outright change the public perception of poly marriage, but they can use the ‘enemy’s’ tactics against them and slip stuff into legislation without people noticing like they do. it’s slimy and it’s not a permanent fix, but it’s a start, and it gives people the opportunity to see poly marriage in action and that it isn’t as terrifying or pearl-clutching-inducing as they think it would be. there’s a long way to go, but the seeds of change have been sown and they will make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible

this is one of the cases that they will monitor on the back burner over time. some cons can finish within a few hours (the bottle job), and some things they will follow over time and make adjustments when needed- amplify voices and expose corrupt politicians etc

and then it’s just after 3/4 of the way through but the con has been finished? what is going on? this is where the silliness comes in

being polyamorous really fucking sucks. You fall in love with multiple people and don't fall out of love often. When a monogamous person loves someone, they love one at a time and fall back out of love. But I keep falling in love and its painful, because I still love the same people, quite a few of them, anyway. But I'm such the jealous type, where I get angry and upset and I have attachment issues. But I still keep falling in love and I still am in love.

But I don't want to ever leave or be with someone that isn't my current partner. I don't not want to be not with him. I want to marry him. It just really sucks because its not fair that I am so different.

So, stop assuming polyamorous people are unloyal, cheaters, not the jealous type, promiscuous, all the stupid things. We just love differently than you do. And I'm tired of having so much shame and self hate over it.

Be kind to polyamorous people. We can't help who we love, and we don't want to betray the people we care so intimately and deeply about. At least, I don't.

I have never been into her love interest being a whole ass grown man! #like hes an entire adult technically as old as her grandmother #I guess I appreciate that it’s sort of a side thing; but..... #This book makes it VERY clear that there’s big crushes/attraction between her and haruka #and also addison has a male ex & they realise they very explicitly still have feeling for each other in this one. #and…….it just doesn’t sort of address that at the end? #like it’s clearly intentional; why not have them have even a brief discussion about it. polyamory babey. #I think if it HAD been explicitly brought up at the end I would have been a bit more cool with her and addison; #since that would have removed the sort of endgame-generic-relationship-monogamy-together-forever kind of assumption yknow.. #I dunno. - i don't think in the benlu universe, she'd have explored polyamory. i have had verses where she has been very open and excited to explore polyamory and enjoyed it. but with ben, he's like pretty much the one. doesn't even look at anyone else but him.

- in the beginning, i think it'd take some time. she'd be trying to wiggle her way in, to learn more, try to get them to share how they feel, etc. but as the trust grows, the comfort level, the understanding, i think she's very receptive to what they might need. it's like an extra sense that she doesn't even have to think about. she just knows and will do whatever she can to take care of it, regardless of her own needs.

- absolutely she does. she'll have harmless little crushes, like with the mailman or the person working at the grocery store, but then every so often, she'll have these deep crushes and will be talk about it with dante or her sisters, and more often than not, will act on it fairly easily.

I like to imagine that they had a group project or something and that's how they got together. Momo is insecure about the relationship since she's nervous about what would come of it, she didn't know polyamorous relationships were a thing and wondered if she was two-timing.

Todoroki also didnt know what it meant but he's blunt and decided to do as he pleased, meaning he'll date them.

Bakugou is the one to explain to them. They are a very crackheaded couple. And its beautiful. The class was happy that they were happy, they like to tease them a lot.

Whenever any of them have bad days, they sing 'Safe and sound' to eachother while cuddling on Momo's bed since its the biggest and most comfy.

Bakugou teaches them how to cook since the two of them are hopeless rich kids. He also shows them normal childhood experiences like video games, hiking, fishing, etc. He's just a softy for his beautiful bitches. He will kick anyone who hits on Momo and Todoroki. Jealous Tsundere vibes. Whenever he gets self conscious about him being a good partner, they will coddle him to death till he is feeling better.

Todoroki is practically a sugar daddy since he spends money on the most stupidest things for his lovers, enji's credit card of course. Plus he makes a brilliant heatpack for the other two during the winter.

Momo has special tea that is reserved for the 3 of them only. Momo loves her boyfriends, especially during her period. Both are human heat packs. They get her plenty of chocolate and snacks while they watch studio ghibli movies.

All in all, they are domestic as shit. And we love them for that. These cute little fuckers. That's all I got for today.
