Okay so I'm going to do these for Poppy/Minerva because they're the ones I'm writing rn so they're in my head

Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Neither of them needs protection, but I think Poppy is more protective? By virtue of her being the healer, she worries a bit more about potential consequences of Minerva's occasional recklessness. Especially after her fall in seventh year, Poppy can get worried and therefore protective about other antics. Minerva's kind of annoyed sometimes, but doesn't fight her on it.

Do they have any hobbies they share?

My first thought was quidditch? Poppy doesn't play, and Minerva stopped playing after her accident, but they share the joy of watching games. They go to games for their favourite teams all over the country (and sometimes internationally), and while Minerva is the competitive one in the house cup, Poppy likes to participate too. When Poppy becomes the Hogwarts' healer, she does get a little less excited about watching the students on brooms hitting each other, but they both really do love the game a lot.
