10 for questions for fanfiction writers?

10) What’s your favorite genre to write for?

Oh boy, well- “genre” isn’t as clear cut in the fanfiction world, but I suppose the greatest portion of my fics is tagged with hurt/comfort. I enjoy diving into emotional hurt a lot, and often having other characters comfort/talk to the POV character about it, and work stuff out.

Otherwise I enjoy diving into people’s mindsets during times of angst and seeing what makes them tick. I call that the emotional hurt/NO comfort, ahah.

How do you choose which prompts to post?

I post them in the order they are received (unless I accidently mess up that order).

The only reason your prompt may not have been posted is either it is too similar to another prompt (but I usually still post these anyways), it was too confusing (I will usually contact you for clarification), or I forgot to check the submissions for new prompts.

This last one the most likely because I have the memory of a goldfish and a poor concept of the passage of time.

8 for Crack the Paragon

8) Which came first, the title or the fic?

Oh, definitely the idea for the fic! When I started writing the first chapter of Crack the Paragon, I barely even had a plot, to be honest, ahah. Just a faint sketch of a concept wherein Steven has an Even Closer To Death Experience in the forge. When I posted that first chapter out of curiosity to see how the idea would be received, I sorta... scrounged up an interesting sounding title by mashing words together and seeing what stuck. It wasn’t until I was midway through chapter 4 that I fully solidified the large beats of the plot, and it wasn’t until chapter 8 that I realized how the title actually kinda had a double meaning (one literal, one metaphorical) by happy accident.
