So I found out about non-rose attraction and specifically the shorten version of romo and sexual attraction (rose) and I really love it!

I’ve been thinking about using “rose” to shorten other labels that include both sets of attraction

Like how about rose repulsed?

Being both romance repulsed and sex repulsed

I’m also gonna use it for my other aroace labels too, like aegoaroace is aegorose (which already exists pog), quoiromantic & quoisexual is now quoirose and etc!

today i found out about the terms quoiromantic and quoisexual and BOI do i feel that. I know that it is normal as an aspec person to struggle to Understand and Differentiate attraction. But part of me didn't realize that struggling to grasp those concepts can also mean being inherently Unsure about what you identify as. I also found out that there is a word for people who fall under different aspec identities (but i don't remember what that was sorry) and how they can kind of contradict each other and idk this just made me feel better? Sometimes i think that i'm not actually aspec but seeing words for stuff i feel helps. And something that i think i should keep in mind (and perhaps would help other people) is that even if i "technically" wasn't aspec, the truth is that i still identify with aspec experiences 100 times more than with allo experiences. So if you aren't sure if you're aspec or not but using that word to describe yourself and your experience helps and is just an easier way to describe something very complex, then do it!

My romantic and sexual orientation or lack thereof

After literal years of swimming between aroace and pan, because on the one side I never felt romantic or sexual attraction to anyone but knowing that if I did I wouldn't give a shit about the gender of those people, I've finally found a label that fits me: quoi. Quoiromantic because the concept of romantic attraction just doesn't apply to me. Quoisexual because the concept of sexual attraction doesn't apply to me. Quoirose for short, I don't have a romantic or sexual orientation.

Genderquoi orientationgender flags :) (not to be confused with quoigender)

Definition:

genderquoi: when your quoi- identity is so intrinsically tied to your gender that you absolutely cannot separate the two.

(quoi here means things like quoisexual, quoiromantic, quoirose, etc.)

Both flags follow the 5 stripe style of orientationgender flags.

The first uses the colours of this quoi flag, and the second uses this other quoi flag. I've heard of the distinction that the white stripe one is for quoisexual, while the grey stripe one is for quoiromantic, so these can also be thought of as genderquoix (quoix is short for quoisexual) (left side), and genderquoiro (quoiro is short for quoiromantic) (right side) flags.

do you or anyone else know a label that means you’re aroace-spec but it’s too complicated to pinpoint? like, i know i’m aroace-spec and not strictly aroace but i have no idea what labels work for me and it all feels complicated.

There's novisexual/noviromantic which means complicated attraction or lack thereof that's difficult or impossible to fit into one term. (Which for aroace spectrum you could combine into novirose if you wanted. The rose prefix means romantic+sexual).

Another possibility is just use labels more broadly, for example aroace-spec can be a standalone, or even just a-spec. Which is a route some people take when their label just feels too complicated to label more closely.

quoiromantic/sexual is another label that is sometimes used by people who have trouble pinpointing their specific labels, quoi is a bit of an umbrella term, but there's a good article on quoiromantic here and quoisexual here explaining what they mean. (And quoiromantic quoisexual can be shortened to quoirose too.)

So hopefully that at least gives you some ideas or some areas to explore. All the best, Anon!

Hello! I’m May (she/her), I’m a 20 year old indigenous person (cree) and digital artist. I usually draw stuff ranging from fanart, fan characters and just regular OCs, human to furry. I’m more of a fandom artist though (I guess that’s what it’s called?), it’s very rare that I draw anything that is completely original instead of it being related to some kind of show or movie.

Made some edits to my venom/symbiotesona’s ref

Now that was able to think a little about how their story goes, got some info about them to share:

This universe’s Eddie Brock is named May Keeper, the symbiote she has currently doesn’t use a name, but together in their full form, they are called “Mute”. After May was lost in the woods one night, she was found by an outcast symbiote, who needed a host to heal its injuries from crash landing on earth and discovered May was the perfect match for it, and ever since then, their lives had been a train wreck somewhat on par, maybe even moreso, than Venom 2018’s cringefail duo /pos

May uses she/her pronouns and the symbiote uses any, or mostly it/its, as it doesn’t understand the point of them, but while trying to conceal their identity, they mostly refer to themselves as they/them to speak about themselves separately, or collectively.

For the bit about them becoming a villain soon, their Canon Events are certainly imminent. I don’t have a design or character for their Peter Parker in this universe yet, but the path for these two are entirely dependent on when they first meet him. Once that finally happens, nothing but pure whump, trauma, and a friends-to-hateful, and I mean hateful, enemies for these two coming right up >:]

I’m gonna try making more art of them to explore their characters a bit because I really like them. I got so many ideas about them I’m excited to share them!
