Approaches is a 10 minute horror game I finished earlier this year about birdwatching on top of a survey tower. https://tipsheda.itch.io/approaches

I have such a weird, and odd obsession with these things. It makes no sense as to why I feel drawn to them.
Powerlines and Transmission towers have always felt comforting.
When I was a teenager, I would go lay out in the field at night and stare up at the transmission tower. Just listening to the hum of electricity.
I can't explain it.

An emblem for CSF Base Alpha (AKA Alpha Base), for a bit of a project that I'm working on. The project's very much a WIP, but it was my New Year's tradition where I start an art piece on the last day of December and finish the piece the next year. This is just a piece of it.
I wanted the main figure to be a stylized loon. They're a Canadian symbol, and I thought it was fitting, symbolically, what with their cry being one associated with loneliness and a call to the wild. They also have stars on their backs, and in the alternate version for the project I'm doing, I turned the single red eye into one of the beacons at the top of the radio tower, calling out an SOS.
The wings arcing towards space also happens to mimic the shell that the base is trapped under, although in canon you can bet they didn't think that was going to be prophetic when it was originally designed.
If I can figure out what to put it on, I absolutely want to get that embroidered on something. If I were a tattoo kind of person, I'd go that route, but I'm averse to all things permanent, so thread is the way!
